2Sūkṣhma abhimān aur anajānapan 3Vartamān samay chārō̃ ōr K|kē purūṣhārthiyō̃ K|kē purūṣhārth mēmmukhyadō bātō̃ key|kī kamzōrī vā kamī dikhāī dētī hai , jis kamī K|kē kāraṇ jō kamāl dikhānī chāhiē vah nahī̃ dikhā pātē , vah dō kamiyā̃ kaunsī haĩ  ?

1At the present time, two main weaknesses or defects are visible in the effort of those who are making effort everywhere, and - due to such weaknesses - they are not able to show the wonders that they should. 2What are these two weaknesses?

4Ēk taraph hai abhimān , dūsrī taraph hai anajānapan .

3On one side there is arrogance, and on the other side there is ignorance.

5Yah dōnō̃ hī bātē̃ purūṣhārth kō ḍhīlā kar dētī haĩ .

4Both these aspects make your efforts slack.

6Abhimān bhī bahut sūkṣmacīzahai .

5Arrogance is also very subtle.

7Abhimān K|kē kāraṇ kōī nēzarā bhī kōī unnati kē liē iśhārā diyā tō sūkṣhma mē̃ na sahanśhakti key|kī lahar ā jātī hai vā saṅkalp ātā hai ki yah kyō̃ kahā  ? 8Iskō bhī abhimān sūkṣhma rūp mē̃ kahā jātā hai .

6Because of arrogance, if someone gives even the slightest signal for your own progress, then, in a subtle way, there isn’t tolerance, but there is instead the thought: “Why did this one say this?” This is said to be “arrogance in a subtle way”.

9Kōī nē kuchh iśhārā diyā tō us iśhārē kō vartamān aur bhaviṣhya dōnō̃ kē liē unnati kā sādhan samajhkar K|kē us iśhārē kō samā dēnā vā apnē mē̃ sahan karnē key|kī śhakti bharnā - yah abhyās hōnā chāhiē .

7If someone gives a signal, consider that signal to be a means for your progress for the present and also the future. 8There should also be the practice of merging that signal in yourself and the power to tolerate that signal.

10Sūkṣhma mē̃ bhī vr̥iti vā dr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ halchal machtī hai - kyō̃ , kaisē huā …  ?

9In a subtle way, there is also upheaval in your attitude and vision: “Why did this happen?

11Iskō bhī dēhī-abhimānī key|kī stage nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

10How did this happen?” This is not said to be “the soul-conscious stage”.

12Jaisē mahimā sunnē K|kē samay vr̥iti vā dr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ us ātmā kē prati snēh key|kī bhāvnā rahtī hai , vaisē hī agar kōī śhikṣhā kā iśhārā dētē haĩ , tō usmē̃ bhī usī ātmā kē prati aisē hī snēh key|kī , śhubhchintak key|kī bhāvnā rahtī ki yah ātmā mērē liē baṛī sē baṛī śhubhchintak hai , aisī sthiti kō kahā jātā hai dēhī-abhimānī .

11At the time of listening to praise, you have the feeling of love, in your vision and attitude towards that soul. 12So, if someone gives a signal for your guidance, is there the feeling of love in that, too, and of being a well-wisher for that soul - that that soul is a very great well-wisher for you? 13Such a stage is called “the soul conscious stage”.

13Agar dēhī - abhimānī nahī̃ haĩ tō dūsrē śhabdō̃ mē̃ abhimān kahē̃gē .

14If you are not soul conscious, then, in other words, it would be called “arrogance”.

14Isliē apmān kō sahan nahī̃ kar saktē .

15This is why you are not able to tolerate insult.

15Aur dūsrē taraph hai bilkul anjān , is kāraṇ bhī kaī bātō̃ mē̃ dhōkhā khātē haĩ .

16On the other side you become completely ignorant. 17You are deceived in many aspects because of this reason too.

16Kōī apnē kō bachānē kē liē bhī anjān bantā hai , kōī real bhī anjān bantā hai .

18Some pretend to be ignorant in order to protect themselves, whereas others really are ignorant.

17Tō in dōnō̃ bātō̃ kē bajāē svamān jissē abhimān bilkul khatm hō jāē aur nirmāṇ , yah dōnō̃ bātē̃ dhāraṇ karnī haĩ .

19So, instead of these two things, imbibe self-respect and also humility through which both these two things will finish.

18Mansā mē̃ svamān key|kī smr̥iti rahē aur vāchā mē̃ , karmaṇā mē̃ nirmāṇ avasthā rahē tō abhimān khatm hō jāēgā .

20In your thoughts, let there be the awareness of self-respect; and in your words and deeds, let there be the stage of humility; and arrogance will then finish.

19Philōsōpharahō gaē haĩ lēkin spiritual nahī̃ banē haĩ arthāt yah spiriṭ nahī̃ āī hai .

21You have become philosophers, but you have not become spiritual: that is, you have not yet developed this spirit.

20Tō jō ātmik sthiti mē̃ , ātmik khumārī mē̃ rahtē haĩ - iskō kahā jātā hai spiritual .

22Those who stay in the soul conscious stage - in the intoxication of soul consciousness - are called “spiritual”.

21Ājkal philāsaphar jyādā dikhāī dētē haĩ , spiritual power cum|kam hai .

23But nowadays, they are visible more as philosophers, and they have very little spiritual power.

22Spiriṭ ēk second mē̃ kyā sē kyā kar dikhā saktī hai  !

24A spirit can do so much in one second.

23Jaisē jādūgar ēk second mē̃ kyā sē kyā kar dikhātē haĩ , vaisē spirituality vālē mē̃ bhī karttavya key|kī siddhi ā jātī .

25Just as a magician can show such wonders in a second, in the same way, those who have spirituality develop the art of attaining success in whatever they do.

24Unmē̃ hāth key|kī siddhi hōtī hai . 25Yah hai her|har karma , her|har saṅkalp mē̃ siddhi - svarūp . 26Siddhi arthāt prāpti .

26Those people(magicians) have the art of doing everything successfully with their hands, whereas this is being an embodiment of success in every thought and every deed.

27Sirph pvāīṇṭsa sunnā , sunānā - iskō philōsōphīkahā jātā hai .

27Success means attainment. 28Simply to listen to and relate points is known as “philosophy”.

28Philosophy kā prabhāv alpkāl kā paṛtā hai , spirituality kā prabhāv sadā kē liē paṛtā hai .

29There is a temporary impact from philosophy, whereas the influence of spirituality is for all time.

29Tō abhī apnē mē̃ karma key|kī siddhi prāpt karnē kē liē rūhāniyat lānī hai .

30So, now, in order to attain success in your every deed, you have to bring about spirituality.

30Anjān bannē kā arth|earth hai ki jō suntē haĩ uskō svarūp tak nahī̃ lātē haĩ .

31To be ignorant means that you do not become an embodiment of whatever you hear.

31Yōgya teacher uskō kahā jātā hai jō apnē śikṣā-svarūp sē śhikṣhā dēvē .

32A worthy teacher is one who gives teachings through being an embodiment of those teachings.

32Unkā svarūp hī śhikṣhā sampann hōgā .

33That one’s form will be full of the teachings.

33Unkā dēkhanā-calanā bhī kiskō śhikṣhā dēgā . 34Jaisē sākār rūp mē̃ kadam-kadam , her|har karma śhikṣhak K|kē rūp mē̃ practical mē̃ dēkhā .

34Their way of looking and walking will give teachings to others, just as you saw how every action of the sakar form - as a teacher - was that of spirituality in a practical way.

35Jiskō dūsrē śhabdō̃ mē̃ charitra kahtē hō .

35In other words, you call this “the divine activity”.

36Kiskō vāṇī dvārā śhikṣhā dēnā tō common bāt hai .

36To give teachings to someone through words is a common thing.

37Lēkin sabhī anubhav chāhtē haĩ .

37However, everyone wishes to have an experience.

38Apnē śhrēṣhṭh karma , śhrēṣhṭh saṅkalp key|kī śhakti sē anubhav karānā hai .

38You have to give an experience with the power of your elevated thoughts and elevated deeds. 39Achcha.

39Achchhā |
