3Sadā karmabandhan-mukta , bījrūp , vr̥ikṣhapati śhiv bābā bōlē - 4 sadā sahyōgī , sadā bachchō̃ K|kē sāthī bāpdādā apnē sahyōgī bachchō̃ kō , sadā K|kē sāthī bachchō̃ kō āj vatan key|kī , bāpdādā key|kī ram - ṇīk bāt sunātē haĩ .
2Today, BapDada who’s always the cooperative Companion of the children, is relating an entertaining conversation of Bap and Dada to His cooperative children who are His constant companions.
5Āp sabhī bhī rūhānī ramaṇīk mūrtta hō nā !
3All of you are entertaining, are you not?
6Tō aisē bachchō̃ kō bāp bhī ramaṇīk bāt sunātē haĩ .
4Therefore, Baba too relates entertaining things to such children.
7Āj vatan mē̃ bāpdādā K|kē sāmnē , ēk baṛā sundar alaukik arth|earth sahit vr̥ikṣha emerge huā .
5Today, a very large, beautiful, alokik and significant looking tree emerged in front of BapDada.
8Vr̥ikṣha baṛā sundar thā aur vr̥ikṣha key|kī ḍāliyā̃ anēk thī̃ , kōī chhōṭī kōī baṛī , kōī mōṭī kōī patlī thī̃ .
6The tree was very beautiful and it had many branches. 7Some small and some large: some thin and some thick.
9Lēkin us alaukik vr̥ikṣha kē ūpar bhinn-bhinn prakār K|kē raṅg-biraṅgē bahut sundar pañchhī thē .
8However, there were various very beautiful colourful birds on that tree.
10Jō harēk apnī-apnī ḍālī par baiṭhē thē .
9Each of them was sitting on its own branch.
11Pañchhiyō̃ K|kē kāraṇ vr̥ikṣha baṛā sundar lag rahā thā .
10Because of the birds, the tree looked very beautiful.
12Kaī pañchhī uṛtē huē bāpdādā key|kī aṅgulī par bhī ākar baiṭhtē .
11Some birds would come flying and sit on BapDada’s fingers.
13Kaī kandhē par bhī ākar baiṭhtē aur kōī āgē pīchhē chakkar lagātē rahtē .
12Some would come and sit on Baba’s shoulders and some just continued to circle around.
14Kōī ḍālī par baiṭhē-baiṭhē dūr sē nayan mulākāt bhī kartē , khuśh bhī bahut thē .
13Some just sat at a distance and met Baba through their eyes and remained happy with just that.
15Lēkin dūsrē pañchhiyō̃ K|kē milan kā khēl dēkhtē huē khuśh thē .
14They were happy just to observe the pleasure the other birds had meeting Baba.
16Svayã samīp nahī̃ āyē .
15They themselves didn’t come close.
17Aisā dr̥iśhya dēkh brahmā bāp muskarātē huē tālī bajāē un pañchhiyō̃ kō bulānē lagē - āō bachchē , āō bachchē , ' ' kahkar bahut mīṭhā bulāvā kar rahē thē .
16Seeing such a scene, Brahma Baba smiled, clapped and began to call all the birds to Him. 17Baba very sweetly invited all the birds to come. 18He said: “Come children, come children!”
18Phir bhī pañchhī nahī̃ āyē .
19Even then, those birds wouldn’t come.
19Paṅkh bhī thē . 20Paṅkh hilā bhī rahē thē lēkin apnē hī pāṅw sē ḍālī kō aisā majbūt pakaṛē huē thē jō uṛkar samīp nahī̃ ā saktē thē .
20Although they had wings and were flapping those wings, they were still clutching onto the branches so tightly with their claws that they were unable to fly and come closer.
21Phir kyā huā ?
21What happened then?
22Chāhtē huē bhī uṛ nahī̃ pāyē .
22Even though they wanted to, they weren’t able to fly.
23 bābā-bābā ' ' kahkar baṛē pyār sē bulānē lagē , bōlnē lagē , kyā bōlā hōgā ?
23They began to call out with a lot of love, “Baba, Baba!” then they said something. 24What would they have said?
24 uḍāō , uṛāō ' ' bōlnē lagē .
25They said, “Make us fly! 26Make us fly!”
25Vā chhuṛāō-chhuṛāō , bōlnē lagē .
27And then, they said, “Free us! 28Free us!”
26Bāpdādā bōlē - chhuṛāō-chhuṛāō nahī̃ , lēkin chhōṛō tō chhūṭō .
29BapDada said: “Instead of saying, “Free us! 30Free us!”, just let go and become free!”
27' ' lēkin vē|way pañchhī itnē kōī chatur thē , kōī kamjōr thē jō ḍālī kō bhī chhōṛnē nahī̃ chāhtē aur bāp kā sāth bhī lēnā chāhtē thē . 28Dōnō̃ bātē̃ sāth chāhtē thē , yah thē chatur pañchhī .
31However, amongst those birds, there were some who were very clever, but others who were weak. 32Although they too wanted to experience the Father’s company, they didn’t want to let go of the branch. 33The clever birds wanted to do both!
29Aur kamjōr va bhōlē pañchhī chhōṛnē chāhtē , lēkin yukti nahī̃ ātī mukti pānē key|kī .
34The weak and innocent birds wanted to become free, but they didn’t know the way to attain their freedom.
30Aur bhōlē pañchhī tō apnē bhōlēpan mē̃ yah bhī nahī̃ samajhtē ki yah chhōṛnā bhī hai .
35The innocent ones, in their innocence, didn’t even realise that they had to let go!
31Tō aisē pañchhiyō̃ kō dēkh bāpdādā bār-bār unhō̃ kō yahī bōlē - chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ' ' .
36Seeing these birds, BapDada repeatedly told them to let go and become free. 37However, the birds continued to chatter in their own language.
32Lēkin vē|way apnī bōlī bōltē rahē . 33Bāpdādā yukti bhī batātē lēkin thōṛā-sā ḍālī kā sāth chhōṛtē huē phir pakaṛ lē̃ .
38BapDada showed them what to do and yet they would let go of the branch a little and still clutch onto it again. 39This is why they continued to call out.
34Isliē bulātē rahē , bōltē rahē lēkin uṛtā pañchhī ban bāp kē sāth samīp milan kā anubhav aur viśv-parikramā arthāt bēhad key|kī sēvā key|kī parikramā kā anubhav kar nahī̃ saktē .
40Although they continued to speak, they were unable to become flying birds. 41They were unable to experience having a close meeting with the Father and tour the world, that is, they were unable to do the tour of unlimited world service.
35Abhī āp harēk apnē sē pūchhō ki maĩ kahā̃ thā ?
42Now, each of you can ask yourself where you were.
36Ḍālī par vā bāp K|kē kandhē par ?
43Were you on a branch or on Baba’s shoulders?
37Vā agũlī par nāch rahē thē ?
44Or, were you dancing on His fingers?
38Vā āspās ghūm rahē thē ?
45Or, were you flying around Baba?
39Apnē āpkō tō jāntē hō nā ?
46Do you know yourself?
40Apnē āp sē pūchhō - chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ' ' , yah pāṭh kitnā pakkā kiyā hai ?
47Ask yourself to what extent you have made the lesson of “Let go and become free” firm for yourself.
41 chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ' ' - yah pāṭh sadā yād hai ?
48Do you always remember the lesson, “Let go and become free”?
42Vā dūsrā chhōṛē tō maĩ chhūṭū̃ ?
49Or, is it that you can become free when others let go?
43Vā bāp chhuṛāyē tō maĩ chhūṭū̃ ?
50Or, is it that you can only become free when Baba frees you.
44Aisā pāṭh tō nahī̃ paṛh lētē hō ?
51You don’t imbibe this lesson in that way, do you?
45Kisī bhī prakār key|kī ṛālī kō apnē buddhi rūpī pāṅw sē pakaṛ K|kē tō nahī̃ baiṭhē hō ?
52You are not clutching onto any type of branch with the foot of your intellect, are you?
46Kisī bhī purānē svabhāv-sanskār vā kisī bhī śhakti key|kī kamī hōnē kāraṇ , nirbal hōnē kāraṇ ḍālī par hī tō nahī̃ baiṭh gayē hō ?
53You haven’t perched down on a branch just because of some old sanskars or your nature, or because you lack a particular power or because of being weak, have you?
47Her|har bāt mē̃ chhōṛō tō chūṭō̃ ' ' , yah practical mē̃ lātē hō ?
54Do you put this lesson, “Let go and become free” into practice in every situation?
48Yahī pāṭh brahmā bāp kō number one lē gayā .
55It was this lesson that made Brahma Baba become number one.
49Śhurū sē chhōṛā tō chhūṭ gayā nā !
56He let go from the beginning and therefore, he became free.
50Yah nahī̃ sōchā ki - sāthī mujhē chhōṛē̃ tō chhūṭū̃ , sambandhī chhōṛē̃ tō chhūṭū̃ .
57He never thought that he would only become free if his companions or his relatives freed him.
51Vighna ḍālnē vālē vighna ḍālnē sē chhōṛē̃ tō chhūṭū̃ .
58He never thought that he would only become free when those who were created obstacles stopped doing that.
52Bhinn-bhinn paristhitiyā̃ mujhē chhōṛē̃ tō chuṭū̃ .
59Or, that he would become free when the various circumstances changed.
53Yah kabhī sōchā ?
60Did he ever think that?
54Sadā svayã kō yahī pāṭh pakkā practical mē̃ dikhāyā vaisē follow father kiyā hai ?
61He himself constantly made make this lesson firm. 62Do you follow the father in the same way?
55Iskō kahā jātā hai - jō ōṭē sō arjun .
63This is known as: The one who takes the initiative is Arjuna.
56Tō arjun ban gayā nā !
64Therefore, he became Arjuna, did he not?
57Arthāt bāp K|kē ati samīp , samān , combined ban gayē .
65He came very close to the Father. 66He became equal and combined.
58Jō āp sabhī bhī bāpdādā combined bōltē hō nā ?
67You also say that Bap and Dada are combined, do you not?
59Tō aisē banē hō ?
68Therefore, have you become like them?
60Vā kabhī kaisē , kabhī kaisē ? 61Jaisē yah bijlī kar rahī hai .
69Or, are you sometimes one thing and sometimes something else, like this electricity?
62 ( bijlī bār-bār ātī aur jātī thī ) tō kabhī chhōṛō tō chhūṭō , kabhī dūsrā chhōṛē tō chhūṭō , yah khēl tō nahī̃ khēltē hō ?
70(The lights were continuously going out.) 71You don’t sometimes play the game of letting go by yourself, and at other times, only becoming free when others let go, do you?
63Yah bijlī kā bhī khēl hai nā ?
72These lights going is also a game, is it not?
64Kabhī ānā , kabhī jānā yah bhī khēl huā .
73Sometimes to come on and sometimes to go out is also a game.
65Tō aisā khēl tō nahī̃ kartē hō ?
74You don’t play such games, do you?
66Sadā achchhā lagtā hai yā ānā-jānā achchhā lagtā hai ?
75Which do you prefer: when something is constant or when it keeps on coming and going?
67Tō her|har bāt mē̃ chāhē svabhāv parivartan mē̃ , saṅskār parivartan mē̃ , ēk dō K|kē samparka mē̃ ānē mē̃ , paristhitiyō̃ yā vighnō̃ kō pār karnē mē̃ , kyā pāṭh pakkā karnā hai ?
76Therefore, in every aspect, whether in transformation of your nature or sanskars, or in coming into relationship with one another or in overcoming obstacles, what lesson do you have to make firm? 77“When you yourself let go, you can become free.”
68 svayã chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ' ' . 69Paristhiti āpkō nahī̃ chhōṛēgī , āp chhōṛō tō chhūṭō .
78The circumstances are not going to let go of you, you yourself have to let go and become free.
70Dūsrī ātmāyē̃ saṅskār K|kē ṭakrāv mē̃ bhī ātī haĩ . 71Tō bhī yahī sōchō ki maĩ chōḍū̃ tō chhūṭū̃ , yah ṭakrāv chhōṛē̃ tō chhūṭū̃ , yah nahī̃ .
79Even if other souls come into conflict with you, you must remember that you will only become free when you let go. 80Don’t think that when the other person stops creating conflict, you will become free, no!
72Agar yah chhōṛē̃ tō chhūṭū̃ hōgā tō ṭakrāv samāpt hōkar phir dūsrā śhurū hō jāyēgā .
81If you believe that you can only become free when that person lets go, then when that conflict ends, another one will start.
73Kahā̃ tak intjār kartē rahē̃gē ki yah chhōṛē tō chhūṭū̃ !
82For how long are you going to keep waiting for the other person to let go so that you can become free?
74Yah māyā K|kē vighna vā paṛhāī mē̃ paper tō samay prati samay bhinn bhinn rūpō̃ sē ānē hī haĩ .
83Obstacles of Maya and test papers in your study will continue to come in different forms from time to time.
75Tō pās|pass hōn kē liē - maĩ paḍhū̃ tē pās|pass hū̃ yā teacher paper halkā karē tō pās|pass hū̃ ?
84Therefore, is it that you pass if you study or do you only pass if the teacher gives you an easy paper?
76Kyā karnā paṛtā hai ?
85What do you have to do?
77Maĩ paḍhū̃ tō pās|pass hū̃ , yahī ṭhīk hai nā !
86It is correct to say that you will pass when you study well.
78Aisē hī yahā̃ bhī sab bātō̃ kō - maĩ svayã pās|pass kar jāū̃ .
87Similarly, here too, you have to pass in every situation.
79Phalānā vyakti pās|pass karē - yah nahī̃ .
88Don’t think that soandso has to pass.
80Phalānī paristhiti pās|pass karē-yah nahī̃ .
89Don’t think that suchandsuch a situation has to end.
81Mujhē pās|pass karnā hai .
90Understand that you yourself have to pass.
82Iskō kahā jātā hai - chhōṛō tō chhūṭō .
91This is known as becoming free by letting go.
83' ' intjār nahī̃ karō , intjām karō .
92Do not wait for anything, but prepare yourself.
84Nahī̃ tō pañchhī bhī hō , paṅkh bhī haĩ aur sundar bhī bahut hō , bāp K|kē vr̥ikṣha par bhī baiṭh gayē hō arthāt brāhmaṇ parivār K|kē bhī ban gayē hō lēkin kisī bhī prakār K|kē sva K|kē saṅskār vā svabhāv , vā dūsrō̃ K|kē svabhāv aur saṅskār dēkhnē aur varṇan karnē key|kī kamjōrī hai , purūṣhārth mē̃ nirādhār nahī̃ , ādhār hai , kisī bhī vyakti yā vastu kā lagāv hai , kisī bhī guṇ vā śhakti key|kī kamī hai - yah haĩ bhinn-bhinn ḍāliyā̃ .
93You are a bird, you have wings, you are very beautiful, you are sitting on the Father’s tree, that is, you belong to the Brahmin family. 94However, there is the weakness of seeing any type of your own or someone else’s sanskars or nature. 95You are not independent in your efforts, you become dependent. 96There is attachment to a person or object, you lack a particular virtue or power.
85Tō in ḍāliyō̃ mē̃ sē kisī ḍālī kō pakaṛ K|kē tō nahī̃ baiṭhē hō ?
97All of these are the various branches. 98So, you are not perched on one of these branches, clutching on are you?
86Agar kisī bhī ḍālī kō pakaṛā huā hai tō bāp K|kē sadā agũlī par nāchnē arthāt sadā śhrīmat key|kī aṅgulī K|kē ādhār par chalnē , aisā samīp kā anubhav nahī̃ kar sakē̃gē .
99If you hold onto any branch, then you are unable to have an experience of the closeness of constantly dancing on the Father’s finger, of constantly moving along with the support of the finger of shrimat.
87Vā sadā bāp K|kē her|har karttavya mē̃ sahyōgī arthāt kandhē par nāch nahī̃ sakē̃gē .
100You won’t be able to cooperate in every task of the Father’s, that is, you won’t be able to dance on His shoulders.
88Ēk haĩ sadā sahyōgī aur dūsrē haĩ kabhī sahyōgī , kabhī viyōgī . 89Kyō̃ ? 90Kyōṅki kisī na kisī ḍālī kō pakaṛ lētē haĩ tō sahyōgī kē bajāē viyōgī ban jātē haĩ .
101One is to be constantly cooperative (sahyogi) and the other is to sometimes become cooperative and at other times become separated from the Father (viyogi). 102Why is it that instead of cooperating, you become separated from the Father?
91Ab apnē āp sē pūchhō - maĩ kaun ? 92Samjhā !
103It is because your are clutching onto one of those branches.
93Tō āj kā pāṭh kyā pakkā kiyā ? 94 chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ? 95' ' pakkā kiyā nā !
104Sometimes, you become tired with yourself and sometimes you become tired of others.
96Ḍālī kō tō nahī̃ pakaṛē̃gē nā !
105Sometimes, you become tired of service.
97Thak jātē haĩ nā tō ṛālī kō pakaṛkar baiṭh jātē haĩ .
106So, you keep clutching onto that branch and crying out, “Now free me!
98Kabhī svayã sē thak jātē haĩ , kabhī dūsrō̃ sē thak jātē haĩ , kabhī sēvā sē thak jātē haĩ .
107Free me!” 108You yourself are clutching onto it and you are asking the Father to free you!”
99Tō ḍālī kō pakaṛ kar phir chillātē haĩ ab chhuṛāō ab chhuṛāō .
109Why should He do this? 110This is why Baba constantly shows you ways to free yourself.
100' ' pakaṛā khud ōr chhuṛāvē bāp .
111You yourself have to let go.
101Yah kyō̃ ? 102Isīliē bāp sadā chhōṛnē key|kī yukti batātē .
112When you yourself do something, you receive the reward of that.
103Chhōṛē̃gē tō khud nā ! 104Karē̃gē tō pāyēṅgē .
113If the Father were to do it for you too, then who would receive the reward?
105Yah bhī bāp karē̃gē tō pāyēṅgē kaun ? 106Karē̃ bāp aur pāyē̃ āp ?
114Is it that the Father does it for you and you receive the reward?
107Isliyē bāp karāvanhār ban nimitt āpkō banātē haĩ .
115This is why Baba becomes Karankaravanhar and makes you an instrument.
108Tō mahārāṣhṭra aur rājasthān mē̃ pañchhī tō sab sundar hō nā ?
116Therefore, all of you in Maharashtra and Rajasthan are very beautiful birds, are you not?
109Bāmbē mē̃ sundar pañchhī hōtē haĩ nā !
117There are beautiful birds here from Bombay, too, are there not?
110Aur rājasthān mē̃ bhī !
118And in Rajasthan?
111Hō tō bāp K|kē sabhī sundar pañchhī , paṅkhō̃ vālē pañchhī .
119All of you are the beautiful birds who belong to the Father, birds with wings.
112Lēkin ḍālī vālē pañchhī haĩ vā uṛnē vālē haĩ - yah caik karō .
120But, now check whether you are birds clutching onto a branch or flying birds.
113Kaiyō̃ key|kī ādat bhī hōtī hai , kitnā bhī uṛāvē̃ phir jākar baiṭh jāyēṅgē .
121No matter how much one tries to make some fly, they still have the habit of returning and settling down again on it.
114Kisī bhī bāt mē̃ vaśhībhūt hōnā arthāt ḍālī kō pāṅw sē pakaṛnā , vaśhīkaraṇ mantra bhūl jātē tō vaśhībhūt hō jātē .
122To become influenced by anything means to clutch onto that branch with your foot. 123It is when you forget the mantra that disciplines the mind, that you become influenced.
115Tō mahārāṣhṭra K|kē pañchhī kaun haĩ ?
124So, who are the birds of Maharashta?
116Uṛtē pañchhī .
125Flying birds!
117Sārā mahārāṣhṭra kā group kaun sē pañchhī haĩ ?
126Which kind of birds are the whole of the Maharashtra group?
118Uṛtē pañchhī haĩ vā ḍālī vālē haĩ ?
127Are you flying birds or birds clutching onto a branch?
119Aur rājasthān sē kaun sē pañchhī āē haĩ ?
128And, what type of birds have come from Rajasthan?
120 chhōṛō tō chhūṭō ' ' yā chhōṛ diyā hai aur chhūṭ gayē haĩ .
129Is it, “Let go and become free”? 130Or, is it, “You have already let go and become free”?
121' ' thak jātē haĩ tō ḍālī kō pakaṛ lētē haĩ .
131When you become tired, you clutch onto a branch.
122Rājasthān K|kē pañchhī tō bahut sundar prasiddh haĩ .
132The birds of Rajasthan are very beautiful and very famous.
123Nāchnē vālē pañchhī haĩ nā !
133You are the dancing birds, are you not?
124Kiskē vaśh tō nahī̃ hōtē nā !
134You don’t become influenced by anyone, do you?
125Chakkar lagānē vālē pañchhī arthāt sōchtē bahut haĩ - yah karē̃gē , yah karkē dikhāyēṅgē , lēkin phirtē rahtē haĩ ās pās|pass , uṛtē nahī̃ haĩ .
135To be birds who simply fly around means to be those who have many thoughts such as: “I will do this. 136This will happen. 137I will show them this. 138I will think about this. etc!”
126Aisē bhī bahut haĩ - karē̃gē-karē̃gē , hōgā , dikhāyēṅgē sōchē̃gē … .
139Such ones are constantly making plans for the future. 140These are the birds who simply circle around.
127' ' 128Gē̃-gē̃ karnē vālē haĩ .
141So, which group have you brought?
129Yah hai ās pās|pass chakkar lagānē vālē .
142Whom have you brought from Bombay?
130Tō kaun sā group lāī hō ?
143Which group have you brought from Rajasthan?
131Bāmbē sē kaun lāī hō ? 132Rājasthān sē kaun sā lāī hō ?
144Because all of you belong to the Father, you are all beautiful anyway.
133Sundar tō sabhī haĩ kyōṅki bāp K|kē ban gayē .
145To become a Brahmin means to become coloured.
134Brāhmaṇ bannā arthāt raṅg lag gayā .
146You have been coloured and you have also received wings.
135Raṅg tō ā gayā aur paṅkh bhī ā gayē . 136Bākī hai chhōṛō tō chhūṭō .
147However, it is only when you let go that you finally become free.
137' ' achchhā .
148Achcha.
138Tō āj ramaṇīk bachchē āyē haĩ nā !
