1Tapasyā kā foundation bēhad kā vairāgya
1THE FOUNDATION OF TAPASYA IS UNLIMITED DISINTEREST
2Avyakt bāpdādā apnē tapasvīmūrt bachchō̃ bachchō̃ kē prati bōlē ḥ
2Today, BapDada is seeing all the loving children offering the flowers of love to Baba.
3Āj bāpdādā sarv snēhī bachchō̃ K|kē snēh K|kē puṣhp ārpit kartē huē dēkh rahē haĩ .
3BapDada is seeing the shower of flowers of love from the hearts of all the children of this land and abroad.
4Dēśh vidēśh K|kē sarv bachchō̃ K|kē dil sē snēh K|kē puṣhpō̃ key|kī varsā bāpdādā dēkh rahē haĩ .
4Whether you call it music or you call it a song, Baba is hearing the same music or song from the hearts of all the children.
5Sabhī bachchō̃ K|kē man kā ēk hī sāj athavā gīt sun rahē haĩ . 6Ēk hī gīt hai - ' ' mērā bābā .
5It is the same song: My Baba. 6The lamps of the pure hope of celebrating a meeting with Baba are sparkling everywhere.
7Chārō̃ ōr milan manānē key|kī śubh-āśāō̃ K|kē dīp jagmagā rahē haĩ .
7Throughout the entire cycle, no one except BapDada and the children are able to see this divine scene.
8Yah divya dr̥ṣya sārē kalp mē̃ sivāē bāpdādā aur bachchō̃ K|kē kōī dēkh nahī̃ saktā .
8The flowers of this unique love are more valuable than the Kohinoor diamond of this old world.
9Yah anōkhē snēh K|kē puṣhp yahā̃ is purānī duniyā K|kē kōhinūr hīrē sē bhī amūlya hai .
9No one except you children can sing the songs of the heart. 10No one else can celebrate such a Deepmala.
10Yah dil K|kē gīt sivāē bachchō̃ K|kē aur kōī gā nahī̃ saktā .
11All the children have emerged in front of BapDada.
11Aisī dīpmālā kōī manā nahī̃ saktā . 12Bāpdādā K|kē sāmnē sarv bachchē emerge haĩ .
12Not everyone can sit in this physical place, but BapDada's heartthrone is extremely large.
13Is sthūl sthān mē̃ sabhī baiṭh nahī̃ saktē .
13This is how He sees everyone in an emerged form.
14Lēkin bāpdādā kā diltakhta ati viśhāl hai . 15Isliē sabhī kō emerge rūp mē̃ dēkh rahē haĩ .
14Baba also hears everyone’s love and remembrance and their loveful complaints which they consider to be their right.
16Sabhī key|kī yādpyār aur snēh bharē adhikār K|kē ulhanē bhī sun rahē haĩ aur sāth-sāth har ēk bachchē kō return mē̃ padmaguṇā jyādā yādpyār dē rahē haĩ .
15Together with that, Baba is giving in return multimillionfold greater love and remembrance to each child. 16Children say with a right that they wish to celebrate a meeting in the corporeal form.
17Bachchē adhikār sē kahtē - ham sab sākār svarūp mē̃ milan manāē̃ .
17The Father has this desire and the children also have this desire.
18Bāp bhī chāhtē , bachchē bhī chāhtē . 19Phir bhī samay pramāṇ brahmā bāp avyakt phariśhtē rūp mē̃ sākār svarūp sē anēk guṇā tīvragati sē sēvā kartē huē bachchō̃ kō apnē samān banā rahē haĩ .
18Nevertheless, according to the time, Father Brahma in his avyakt, angelic form, is doing service at a multifold faster speed than he did in his corporeal form, and making the children the same as he is.
20Na sirph ēk dō varṣh , lēkin anēk varṣh avyakt milan , avyakt rūp mē̃ sēvā kā anubhav karāyā aur karā bhī rahē haĩ .
19You have been given the experience of an avyakt meeting and his service in the avyakt form, not only for one or two years but for many years, and he is still giving you that experience.
21Tō brahmā bāp nē avyakt hōtē bhī vyakt mē̃ kyō̃ part bajāyā ?
20Even though Father Brahma is avyakt, why does he play a part in the corporeal?
22Samān banānē kē liē .
21To make you the same as he is.
23Brahmā bāp avyakt sē vyakt mē̃ āyē , tō bachchō̃ kō return mē̃ kyā karnā hai ?
22Father Brahma comes from the subtle into the corporeal; so, what do you children have to do in return?
24Vyakt sē avyakt bannā hai .
23Become subtle from corporeal.
25Samay pramāṇ avyakt milan , avyakt rūp sē sēvā abhī ati āvaśhyak hai .
24According to the time, the service of the avyakt meeting through the subtle form is extremely essential.
26Isliē samay prati samay bāpdādā avyakt milan key|kī anubhūti kā iśhārā dētē rahtē haĩ .
25This is why, from time to time, BapDada keeps giving you the signal to experience the subtle meeting.
27Iskē liē tapasyā varṣh bhī manā rahē hō nā .
26Therefore, you are now celebrating the year of tapasya, are you not?
28Bāpdādā kō harṣh hai ki majority bachchō̃ kō umaṅg-utsāh achchhā hai .
27BapDada is pleased that the zeal and enthusiasm of the majority of the children are very good.
29Minority aisā sōchtē haĩ ki programme pramāṇ karnā hī hai .
28Only a minority of children think that they have to do something according to the programme.
30Ēk hai programme sē karnā aur dūsrā hai dil K|kē umaṅg-utsāh sē karnā .
29One is to do something according to the programme, and the other is to do it with zeal and enthusiasm from your heart.
31Har ēk apnē sē pūchhē - maĩ kismē̃ hū̃ ?
30Each of you should ask yourself: In which category am I?
32Samay key|kī paristhitiyō̃ K|kē pramāṇ , sva key|kī unnati K|kē pramāṇ , tīvr gati K|kē sēvā K|kē pramāṇ , bāpdādā K|kē snēh K|kē return dēnē K|kē pramāṇ tapasyā ati āvaśhyak hai .
31According to the circumstances of the present time, according to selfprogress, according to the fast speed of service and according to giving a return of BapDada's love, tapasya is extremely essential.
33Pyār karnā ati sahaj hai aur sab kartē haĩ - yah bhī bāp jāntē haĩ lēkin return svarūp mē̃ bāpdādā samān bannā hai .
32It is easy to have love, and everyone does have love; Baba knows this too. 33However, in return, BapDada wishes to see that you become equal to BapDada.
34Is samay bāpdādā yah dēkhnē chāhtē haĩ .
34This is what BapDada wants to see at present.
35Ismē̃ kōī mē̃ kōī nikaltā hai .
35In this, there are a few out of the few.
36Chāhnā sabhī kī hai . 37Lēkin chāhnē vālē aur karnē vālē - ismē̃ saṅkhyā kā antar hai .
36Everyone has the desire, but there is a difference between the number of those who have the desire and those who put it into practice.
38Kyōṅki tapasyā kā sadā aur sahaj foundation hai - bēhad kā vairāgya .
37The easy and constant foundation of tapasya is unlimited disinterest.
39Bēhad kā vairāgya arthāt chārō̃ ōr K|kē kinārē chhōṛ dēnā .
38To have unlimited disinterest means to leave the shores (support) of all four sides.
40Kyōṅki kinārē kō sahārā banā diyā hai .
39Why? 40Because you have made the shores your support.
41Samay pramāṇ pyārē banē aur samay pramāṇ śhrīmat par nimitt banī huī ātmāō̃ K|kē iśhārē pramāṇ second mē̃ buddhi pyārē sē phir nyārī ban jāyē , vah nahī̃ hōtī .
41To become loving according to the time, and then, according to the shrimat and the signals received from the instrument souls, to make your intellect detached from loving in a second: this doesn’t happen.
42Jitnā jaldī pyārē bantē hō , utnē nyārē nahī̃ bantē hō .
42You don’t become detached as quickly as you become loving.
43Pyārē bannē mē̃ hōśhiyār hai , nyārē bannē mē̃ sōchtē haĩ , himmat chāhiē .
43You are clever in being loving, but in becoming detached, you think twice about it, and think that you need courage.
44Nyārā bannā hī kinārā chhōṛnā hai aur kinārā chhōṛnā hī bēhad key|kī vairāgya vr̥itti hai .
44To become detached means to leave the support, and to leave the support means to have an attitude of unlimited disinterest.
45Kinārō̃ kō sahārā banāē pakaṛnā ātā hai lēkin chhōṛnē mē̃ kyā kartē hō ?
45You know how to make a shore your support and hold on to it, but what do you do when you have to leave it?
46Lambā question mark lagā dētē hō .
46You put a big question mark.
47Sēvā kā incharge bannā bahut achchhā ātā hai lēkin incharge K|kē sāth-sāth svayã key|kī aur aurō̃ key|kī battery charge karnē mē̃ muśhkil lagtā hai .
47You know how to be incharge of service very well, but as well as being incharge, you find it difficult to charge the battery of yourself and of others.
48Isliē vartamān samay tapasyā dvārā vairāgya vr̥itti key|kī ati āvaśhyaktā hai .
48This is why it is extremely essential at the present time to adopt an attitude of unlimited disinterest through tapasya.
49Tapasyā key|kī saphaltā kā viśhēṣh ādhār vā sahaj sādhan hai - ēk śhabda kā pāṭh pakkā karō .
49The special basis and easy way for the success of tapasya is to make the lesson of ‘One’ (ek) firm.
50Dō-tīn likhnā muśhkil hōtā hai .
50It is difficult to write the figures ‘2’ or ‘3’.
51Ēk likhnā bahut sahaj hai .
51It is very easy to write '1'.
52Tapasyā arthāt ēk kā bannā .
52Tapasya means to belong to One.
53Jiskō bāpdādā ēknāmī kahtē haĩ .
53This is what BapDada calls belonging to the One (Eknami).
54Tapasyā arthāt man-buddhi kō ēkāgr karnā , tapasyā arthāt ēkānt-priy rahnā , tapasyā arthāt sthiti kō ēkras rakhnā , tapasyā arthāt sarv prāpt khazānō̃ kō vyarth sē bachānā arthāt economy sē chalnā .
54Tapasya means to stabilise (ekagra) the mind and the intellect. 55Tapasya means to love being in solitude (ekant). 56Tapasya means to maintain a stable (ek ras) stage. 57Tapasya means to save yourself from wasting all the treasures you have attained, that is, to move along with economy.
55Tō ēk kā pāṭh pakkā huā nā - ēk kā pāṭh muśhkil hai vā sahaj hai ?
58So, the lesson of 'One' is now firm, is it not? 59Is the lesson of 'one' difficult or easy?
56Hai tō sahaj , lēkin - aisī bhāṣhā tō nahī̃ bōlē̃gē nā .
60It is easy, but…. 61You won't use such language, will you?
57Bahut-bahut bhāgyavān hō . 58Anēk prakār key|kī mēhnat sē chhūṭ gayē .
62You are very, very fortunate that you have been liberated from many types of labour.
59Duniyā vālō̃ kō samay karāyēgā aur samay par majbūrī sē karē̃gē . 60Bachchō̃ kō bāp samay K|kē pahlē taiyār kartē haĩ aur bāp key|kī mōhabbat sē kartē hō .
63Time will make the people of the world ready, and they will be ready out of compulsion at the appropriate time, whereas the Father is preparing you children before time and you are doing it out of love for the Father.
61Agar mōhabbat sē nahī̃ kiyā vā thōṛā kiyā tō kyā hōgā ?
64If you don't do it out of love, or if you only do a little, what will happen then?
62Majbūrī sē karnā hī paṛēgā .
65You will have to do it out of compulsion.
63Bēhad kā vairāgya dhāraṇ karnā hī hōgā lēkin majbūrī sē karnē kā phal nahī̃ miltā .
66You will definitely have to have unlimited disinterest. 67However, you don't receive any fruit from compulsion.
64Mōhabbat kā pratyakṣhaphal bhaviṣhya phal bantā hai aur majbūrī vālō̃ kō kahā̃ sē cross karnā paṛēgā !
68The instant fruit of love also accumulates as the future fruit. 69What will those who do it out of compulsion have to cross?
65Cross karnā bhī cross mē̃ chaṛhnē K|kē samān hai .
70To have to cross something is the same as having to be on a cross.
66Tō kyā pasand hai ?
71Which do you prefer?
67Mōhabbat sē karē̃gē .
72You will do it out of love.
68Bāpdādā kabhī kinārō̃ key|kī list sunāyēṅgē . 69Aisē tō jānnē mē̃ hōśhiyār hō .
73BapDada will at some point tell you about the list of the supports.
70Revise karāyēṅgē . 71Kyōṅki bāpdādā tō bachchō̃ key|kī her|har rōj key|kī dincharyā jab chāhē tab dēkh saktē haĩ .
74You are clever in knowing about it anyway, but Baba will revise it, because BapDada can see the children's daily timetable whenever He chooses.
72Ēk ēk K|kē dēkhnē kā sārā din dhandhā nahī̃ kartē .
75He doesn't do the business of watching the timetable of each one throughout the day.
73Sākār brahmā bāp kō dēkhā unkī najar svataḥ hī kahā̃ paṛtī thī .
76You saw corporeal Father Brahma; where did his vision automatically fall?
74Chāhē āpkā patra hō , chāhē pōtāmēl hō , chāhē kōī cālacalan hō , chāhē kōī āṭh page kā patra hō lēkin bāp key|kī nazar kahā̃ paṛtī ?
77Whether it was a letter or a chart, or whether it was 78someone's behaviour, even if it was an 8page letter, on to what did his vision fall?
75Jahā̃ direction dēnā hōgā , jahā̃ āvaśhyaktā hōgī .
79On to that where a direction had to be given, where it was necessary.
76Bāpdādā dēkhtē bhī sab haĩ , lēkin nahī̃ bhī dēkhtē haĩ .
80BapDada observes everything, but he doesn't see.
77Jāntē bhī haĩ , nahī̃ bhī jāntē .
81He recognises everything, but he doesn't know.
78Jō āvaśhyak nahī̃ - vah na dēkhtē haĩ , na jāntē haĩ .
82Whatever is not necessary – He neither sees nor knows.
79Khēl tō bahut achchhē dēkhtē haĩ vah phir kabhī sunāyēṅgē .
83He observes very good games. 84Baba will tell you about that at some other time.
80Achchhā .
85Achcha.
81Tapasyā karnā , bēhad key|kī vairāgya vr̥itti mē̃ rahnā sahaj hai nā .
86It is easy to do tapasya and to maintain an attitude of unlimited disinterest, is it not?
82Kinārō̃ kō chhōṛnā muśhkil hai ?
87Is it difficult to leave the shores?
83Lēkin bannā bhī āpkō hī hai .
88However, you are the ones who want to become something.
84Kalp-kalp key|kī prāpti K|kē adhikārī banē hō aur avaśhya banē̃gē .
89You have claimed the right to attainment every cycle, and so you will definitely become that.
85Achchhā .
90Achcha.
86Is varṣh kalp pahlē vālē anēk kalpō̃ K|kē purānē aur is kalp K|kē nayē bachchō̃ kō chance milā hai .
91This year, the children of the previous cycle, those who are old from many cycles and who are new in this cycle, have been given a chance.
87Tō chance milnē key|kī khuśhī hai nā ?
92You are happy that you have been given a chance, are you not?
88Majority nayē haĩ , teachers purānī haĩ .
93The majority are new, and the teachers are old.
89Tō teacher kyā karē̃gī ?
94What will the teachers do?
90Vairāgya vr̥itti dhāraṇ karē̃gī nā ?
95You will imbibe an attitude of disinterest, will you not?
91Kinārā chhōṛē̃gī ?
96Will you leave the shore?
92Ki us samay kahē̃gī ki karnē tō chāhtē haĩ lēkin kaisē karē̃ ?
97Or, at that time will you say that you want to do it, but ask how you can do it?
93Karkē dikhlānē vālē hō ki sunānē vālē hō ?
98Are you the ones who show others by doing it, or are you the ones who speak in that way?
94Jō bhī chārō̃ ōr K|kē bachchē āyē huē haĩ sab bachchō̃ kō bāpdādā sākār rūp mē̃ dēkhnē sē harṣhit hō rahē haĩ .
99Baba is pleased to see all the children who have come from everywhere in the corporeal form. 100You have maintained courage, and you always receive the Father’s help anyway.
95Himmat rakhī hai aur madad bāp key|kī sadā hai hī . 96Isliē sadaiv himmat sē madad K|kē adhikār kō anubhav kartē sahaj uṛtē chalō .
101Therefore, with courage, constantly continue to experience the right to receive the Father’s help and continue to fly easily. 102The Father gives help, but those who want it must take it.
97Bāp madad dētē haĩ lēkin lēnē vālē lēvē .
103The Bestower gives, but those who take it do so according to their capacity.
98Dātā dētā hai lēkin lēnē vālē yathā śhakti ban jātē haĩ . 99Tō yathā śhakti nahī̃ bannā .
104So, you must not become those who are according to their own capacity, but be those who are constantly allpowerful.
100Sadā sarvśhaktivān bannā .
105Then those who come late will take a number ahead.
101Tō pīchhē ānē vālē bhī āgē number lē lē̃gē .
106Do you understand? 107Claim your full right to all the powers.
102Samjhā .
108Achcha.
103Sarvśhaktiyō̃ K|kē adhikār kō pūrā prāpt karō . 104Achchhā . 105Chārō̃ ōr K|kē sarvasnēhī ātmāē̃ , sadā bāp K|kē pyār kā return dēnē vālē , ananya ātmāē̃ , sadā tapasvī mūrt sthiti mē̃ sthit rahnē vālē , bāp key|kī samīp ātmāē̃ , sadā bāp K|kē samān bannē K|kē lakṣhya kō lakṣhaṇ rūp mē̃ lānē vālē , aisē dēśh-vidēśh K|kē sarv bachchō̃ kō dilārām bāp key|kī dil va jān , sik va prēm sē yādpyār aur namastē .
109To all the loving souls in all directions, to the special souls who always give the return of the Father's love, to those who constantly remain stable in the stage of an image of tapasya, to the souls who are close to the Father, to those who constantly put the characteristics of the aim of becoming equal to the Father into a practical form, to all the children from this land and abroad, love, remembrance and namaste from the deepest depths of the heart of Baba, the Comforter of Hearts. 110Avyakt BapDada meeting Dadis:
106' ' 107Dādiyō̃ sē avyakt bāpdādā key|kī mulākāt 108Aṣhṭ śaktidhārī , iṣhṭ aur aṣhṭ hō nā .
111The ones with the 8 (Asht) powers, you are the specially beloved deities (Isht) and one of the 8, are you not?
109Aṣhṭ key|kī niśhānī kyā hai , jāntē hō ?
112Do you know what the sign is of those who are one of the 8?
110Her|har karma mē̃ samay pramāṇ , paristhiti pramāṇ , her|har śhakti karma mē̃ lānē vālē .
113They are the ones who put to use every power in every action according to the time and according to the situation.
111Aṣhṭ śhaktiyā̃ iṣhṭ bhī banā dētī haĩ aur aṣhṭ bhī banā dētī haĩ . 112Aṣhṭ śaktiyā̃dhārī hō isliē āṭh bhujāyē̃ dikhātē haĩ .
114The 8 powers make you a special beloved deity and also make you one of the 8. You are those with 8 powers and this is why they show the goddesses with 8 arms.
113Viśhēṣh āṭh śhaktiyā̃ haĩ .
115They have 8 special powers.
114Vaisē hai tō bahut , lēkin āṭh mē̃ majority ā jātī hai . 115Viśhēṣh śhaktiyō̃ kō samay par kārya mē̃ lānā hai .
116In fact, there are many powers, but the majority are included in the 8. The special powers have to be used at the right time.
116Jaisā samay , jaisī paristhiti vaisī sthiti hō .
117As the time, as the situation, so should be your 118stage.
117Iskō kahtē haĩ aṣhṭ vā iṣhṭ .
119This is known as being one of the 8 and a specially beloved deity.
118Tō aisā group taiyār hai nā ?
120So, such a group is ready, is it not?
119Vidēśh mē̃ kitnē taiyār haĩ ?
121How many are ready abroad?
120Aṣhṭ mē̃ ānē vālē haĩ nā ?
122You are also going to be part of the 8, are you not?
121Achchhā .
123Achcha.
122 ( savērē brahm muhūrt K|kē samay santarī dādī nē śharīr chhōṛā )
124(Santri Dadi left her body in the morning at amrit vela – 13/12/1990)
123Achchhā hai , jānā tō sabkō hī hai .
125It is good. 126Everyone definitely has to go.
124Ever ready hō yā yād āyēgā - mērā centre , abhī jigyāsuō̃ kā kyā hōgā ?
127Are you everready? 128Or, will you remember, “My centre and what will happen about the students?”
125Mērā-mērā tō yād nahī̃ āyēgā nā ?
129You will not remember “mine, mine” will you?
126Jānā tō sabkō hai lēkin har ēk K|kē hisāb apnē-apnē haĩ .
130Everyone has to go, but each one’s accounts are his own.
127Hisāb-kitāb chuktu karnē K|kē binā kōī jā nahī̃ saktā .
131No one can go without settling his accounts.
128Isliē sabnē khuśhī sē chhuṭṭī dī|the .
132This is why everyone gave leave with happiness.
129Sabkō achchhā lagā nā .
133You all liked it, did you not?
130Aisā jānā achchhā hai nā .
134It is good to go like that.
131Tō āp bhī ever ready hō jānā .
135So you must become everready.
132Achchhā .
136Achcha.
133Party sē avyakt bāpdādā key|kī mulākāt
137BapDada meeting groups: 138Delhi and Punjab are both original places of service.
134Pratham group - dillī aur pañjāb dōnō̃ hī sēvā K|kē ādi sthān haĩ .
139The places of establishment (of the beginning) are always seen and remembered with that importance.
135Sthāpanā K|kē sthān sadā hī mahatvapūrvak dēkhē jātē haĩ , gāyē jātē haĩ . 136Jaisē sēvā mē̃ ādi sthān hai , vaisē sthiti mē̃ ādi ratna hō ?
140Just as they are the original places in service, in the same way, are you the original jewels in your stage?

142Original jewels means those who are first in putting every elevated direction into their life, not just those who listen and relate it to others, but those who also actually do it, because there are many who simply listen and relate it to others, but only a handful out of multimillions who actually do it.
142Yah rūhānī naśhā , māyā K|kē naśō̃ sē chhuṛā dētā hai . 143Yah rūhānī naśhā safety kā sādhan hai .
143So, do you have the intoxication that you are the handful out of multimillions?
144Kōī bhī māyā kā naśhā - pahannē kā , khānē kā , dēkhnē kā apnī taraph ākārṣit nahī̃ kar saktā .
144This spiritual intoxication frees you from the many types of intoxication of Maya. 145This spiritual intoxication is a means of safety.
145Aisē naśhē mē̃ rahtē hō yā māyā thōṛā-thōṛā ākārṣit kartī hai . 146Abhī samajhdār ban gayē hō nā .

152That you are sensible and yet you were deceived! 153To be deceived means to invoke sorrow.
155Aisē hō ? 156Yā dēkhtē hō - pahlē dūsrā karē , phir ham karē̃gē ?
154When you are deceived, you receive sorrow from that, do you not?
