¹Shiva Jayanti, the memorial of taking a vow and totally surrendering the self.

³aaj trimoorti rachta shiv baap apne poojya shaaligraamon se milne aaye hain।

²Today, Father Shiva, the Creator of the Trimurti, has come to meet His worthy­of­worship saligrams.

⁴milna bhi hai to aaj manaana bhi hai।

³Today, it is a meeting as well as a celebration.

⁵aap sabhi vishwa ke chaaron or se baapdaada ki jayanti bade umang-utsaah se manaane ke liye pahunche ho।

⁴All of you have arrived here from all over the world with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm in order to celebrate BapDada's birthday.

⁶bachche kehte hain baap ki jayanti manaane aaye hain aur baap kehte hain bachchon ki jayanti manaane aaye hain।

⁵Children say that they have come to celebrate the Father's birthday and the Father says that He has come to celebrate the children's birthday.

⁷aap sab bhi apni jayanti alaukik birth de manaane ke liye aaye hain।

⁶All of you have also come to celebrate your alokik birthday.

⁸saare kalpa mein aisa nyaara aur pyaara birth de kabhi hota nahin hai।

⁷At no other time throughout the whole cycle can there be such another lovely and unique birthday.

⁹saare kalpa mein dekha hai, aisa birth de manaaya hai,jo baap ka bhi ho aur saath mein bachchon ka bhi ho?

⁸Throughout the whole cycle, did you see or celebrate such a birthday that is the same for the Father as well as the children?

¹⁰kyonki vishwa parivartan ke kaarya mein shiv baap brahma daada ke saath-saath brahman bhi zaroor chaahiye।

⁹This is because, for the task of world transformation, together with Father Shiva and Brahma Dada, Brahmins are also needed.

¹¹braahmanon ke bina yagya saphal nahin hota hai।

¹⁰A sacrificial fire cannot be successful without Brahmins.

¹²isliye baap aur bachchon ka ikattha janma din hai arthaat jayanti hai।

¹¹This is why the birthday, the jayantis, of the Father and children are together.

¹³to bachche dil hi dil mein baap ko mubaarak de rahe hain aur baap har brahman bachche ko alaukik janma ki arab-kharab se bhi jyaada dil ki duaaon ke saath mubaarak de rahe hain।

¹²Children are congratulating the Father from their heart and the Father is giving each Brahmin child more than multi­multi­million times congratulations as well as blessings from the heart for the alokik birthday.

¹⁴to mubaarak ho, mubaarak ho,mubaarak ho!

¹³Congratulations! ¹⁴Congratulations!

¹⁵(sabhi ne haath hilaaya) bahut achha- ek haath ki taali achhi lagti hai, do haath ki nahin।

¹⁵Congratulations! ¹⁶Very good! ¹⁷You enjoy clapping with one hand, not two hands.

¹⁶bahut khushi hai na, to haath rookte nahin hain, chal padte hain।

¹⁸There is a lot of happiness and so you can't stop your hands; they just move automatically.

¹⁷duniya mein bhakta log bhi shiv jayanti bade dhoomdhaam se manaate hain।

¹⁹In the world also, devotees celebrate Shiv Jayanti with a lot of splendour.

¹⁸lekin woh manaate hain ek din ka jaagran va ek din ka vrat।

²⁰However, their celebration is one night without sleep (jagran) or a fast for one day.

¹⁹aap bachchon ne agyaan neend se jaagran ka sankalp ek din ke liye nahin kiya hai,jaagran woh bhi karte lekin aapne ek sangam yug ka heere tulya janma jaagran kiya hai aur kar rahe hain।

²¹You children have not had the thought of having jagran of the sleep of ignorance for only one day ­ they too have jagran ­ but you have stayed awake for the whole of this one life of the confluence age that is like a diamond.

²⁰jaag gaye hain na, abhi phir soyenge to nahin na!

²²You have awakened, have you not? ²³You will not now go back to sleep, will you?

²¹ya thoda-thoda sa so jaayenge!

²⁴Or will you fall asleep a little?

²²achha, soye nahin to thoda jhutka kha lenge!

²⁵Achcha, you may not have fallen asleep, but perhaps you nod off!

²³yeh jaagran aisa jaagran hai jo svayan to jaag jaate hain lekin auron ko bhi jagaate hain।

²⁶This staying awake throughout the night is such that you yourself are awake, and you also awaken others.

²⁴gyaan ki jeevan mein jaagran maana andhakaar se roshni mein aana।

²⁷In this life of knowledge, to remain awake means to come out of the darkness and into the light.

²⁵yeh alaukik jaagran sabhi ko achha lagta hai na!

²⁸All of you like this spiritual wakefulness, do you not?

²⁶jab se janma liya,jayanti manaai tab se kya-kya vrat liya? ²⁷yaad hai na!

²⁹From the moment you took birth and celebrated your birthday, what vows have you kept from that time?

²⁸bachche kehte hain yaad to kya, hamaari to natural jeevan hi ‘vrat’ki ho gai।

³⁰Do you remember them? ³¹Children say: Let alone remembering them, our life has become that of a natural vow.

²⁹pavitra aahaar,pavitra vyavhaar aur pavitra vichaar yeh jeevan ban gai।

³²Our life has become one of pure diet, pure interaction and pure thoughts.

³⁰ek maas ke liye,do maas ke liye nahin, jeevan hi vrat dhaaran karne vaali ban gai।

³³It isn't for just one or two months, but it has become such that we have imbibed this vow in our life.

³¹natural ban gai aur nature ban gai।

³⁴It has become natural and it has become our nature.

³²pavitrata ki nature ban gai hai na!

³⁵You have made your nature that of purity, have you not?

³³nature ban gai hai ya banaani padti hai?

³⁶Has your nature become that or do you have to make it that?

³⁴ban gai hai na?

³⁷It has become that, has it not?

³⁵sirf kaandh hilaao bas। ³⁶ban gai?

³⁸Simply nod in agreement, that's all!

³⁷apvitrata nature se samaapta ho gai aur pavitrata jeevan mein sama gai।

³⁹Has it become that? ⁴⁰Has impurity finished in your nature and has purity merged in your life?

³⁸aisi heere tulya shiv jayanti va shaaligraam jayanti mana li।

⁴¹You have now celebrated Shiv Jayanti and saligram jayanti that are as valuable as a diamond.

³⁹chaaron or ke desh-videsh ke bachche bhi saath-saath mana rahe hain।

⁴²The children from everywhere abroad and in this land are also celebrating it at the same time.

⁴⁰baapdaada dekh rahe hain ki chaaron or baap ke saath aur aapke saath woh bhi kitne khush ho rahe hain।

⁴³BapDada is seeing that together with you and the Father, they too are all so happy!

⁴¹aaj ke din vishesh bhakta log aapka yaadgaar bali bhi chadhaate hain।

⁴⁴Today, as your memorial, devotees especially offer a sacrifice.

⁴²aap sab man-vachan-karma se baap ke aage samarpan hote ho, usi ka yaadgaar bhakta log apne ko bali nahin chadhaate, bakre ko bali chadha dete hain।

⁴⁵All of you surrender yourself to the Father in your thoughts, words and deeds. ⁴⁶In memory of that, devotees don't offer themselves as a sacrifice, but sacrifice a goat instead.

⁴³aur koi nahin mila,bakra hi kyon mila?

⁴⁷Could they not find anything else? ⁴⁸Could they only find a goat?

⁴⁴iska bhi rahasya aap jaante ho, kyonki sabse bade te bada deh-abhimaan ka kaaran hai ‘‘main pan’’।

⁴⁹You know the significance of this. ⁵⁰It is because the greatest cause of body consciousness is the consciousness of "I" (mai ­ in Hindi is "I").

⁴⁵yeh ‘‘main pan’’ jab arpan kar lete ho tab hi brahman bante ho।

⁵¹When you surrender the consciousness of "I", it is then that you become Brahmins.

⁴⁶to bakra bhi kya karta hai?

⁵²So what does a goat do? ⁵³"Maiii, maiii!"

⁴⁷mein,mein… to yeh deh-abhimaan ke main-pan ki nishaani hai aur deh-abhimaan ka main-pan bahut sookshm bhi hai aur bhinna-bhinna prakaar ka bhi hai।

⁵⁴So this is a sign of the body consciousness of "I". ⁵⁵The consciousness of the "I" of body consciousness is also very subtle and has a variety of forms.

⁴⁸sabse pahla main pan hai - main shareer hoon, phalaana hoon।

⁵⁶The first consciousness of "I" is "I am a body!" ⁵⁷"I am so­and­so!"

⁴⁹phir aage chalo to sambandh mein phansane ka bhi bhinna-bhinna main-pan hai।

⁵⁸Then, as you move further, there are the different forms of "I" as you become trapped in relationships.

⁵⁰aur aage chalo to bhinna-bhinna position ka bhi main-pan hai।

⁵⁹Then, as you move further, there are the different forms of "I" of position.

⁵¹usse bhi sookshm apni visheshta ka main-pan oopar se neeche le aata।

⁶⁰Even more subtle than that is the "I" of your own speciality which brings you down from up above. ⁶¹Each of you has a speciality.

⁵²visheshta har ek mein hai, aisi koi bhi manushya aatma nahin hai jismen chaahe sthool, chaahe sookshm koi bhi visheshta na ho,yeh nahin।

⁶²Whether it is in a gross or a subtle form, there isn't a single human soul who doesn't have a speciality. ⁶³In this life of knowledge too, each Brahmin definitely has at least one speciality.

⁵³gyaani jeevan mein bhi har brahman ke andar kam se kam ek visheshta avashya hai, lekin gyaani jeevan mein visheshta parmaatma den hai,paramatma ki saugaat hai।

⁶⁴However, in the life of knowledge, a speciality is a gift bestowed by God. ⁶⁵It is God's gift. ⁶⁶When you put the consciousness of "I" into the gift that God has given you, this is royal ego and the biggest consciousness of "I".

⁵⁴jab paramatma ki den ko deh-abhimaan vash main-pan mein laate hain, main aisa hoon, yeh royal abhimaan bade-te-bada ‘main-pan’ hai।

⁶⁷And so you are already surrendered yourself, but what do you still have to consider further? ⁶⁸What do all of you teachers call yourselves?

⁵⁵to samarpan to hue hi hain lekin aage kya dekhna hai?

⁶⁹You are surrendered, are you not? ⁷⁰Are all teachers surrendered?

⁵⁶teachers sabhi apne ko kya kehti hain? ⁵⁷samarpan hain na!

⁷¹Achcha, are those who are living at home with their family surrendered?

⁵⁸teachers sabhi samarpan hain?

⁷²Yes or no? ⁷³You are surrendered!

⁵⁹achha-pravritti mein rahne vaale samarpan hain?

⁷⁴Are the Pandavas surrendered? ⁷⁵Very good!

⁶⁰haan ya na?

⁷⁶Congratulations!

⁶¹paandav samarpan hain?

⁷⁷What are you going to do now?

⁶²bahut achha mubaarak ho। ⁶³aage kya karna hai?

⁷⁸You have surrendered yourselves and that is very good.

⁶⁴samarpan to ho gaye, bahut achha।

⁷⁹Now, in future, you have to check that… ⁸⁰Should Baba tell you?

⁶⁵abhi aage yeh check karna hai, bataayen kya?

⁸¹You would say: We are surrendered, so what else do we have to do now?

⁶⁶aap kahenge samarpan to hain na phir kya karna hai?

⁸²One is to surrender, but after that there is total surrender.

⁶⁷to ek hai samarpan aur aage hai -’sarva samarpan’।

⁸³Especially underlined in total surrender is the surrender of your mind, intellect and sanskars.

⁶⁸‘sarva’ mein vishesh underline hai apne man-buddhi-sanskaar sahit samarpan kyonki jitna aage badhte ho,purooshaartha mein teevragti se kadam uthaate ho aur utha bhi rahe ho lekin vartamaan vaayumandal pramaan brahman jeevan mein bhi man aur buddhi ke oopar vyartha ka prabhaav,bura nahin,bura khatma hua lekin vyartha aur negative ka prabhaav jyaada hai, isliye yathaartha aur satya nirnay karne ki mahsoosta shakti kam ho jaati hai।

⁸⁴Because in order to move forward, you have to take fast steps in your efforts. ⁸⁵You are doing that, even now, according to the present atmosphere in your Brahmin life, because the majority of you sitting here are Brahmins. ⁸⁶There is just an influence of waste on the mind, nothing bad, because all bad things have finished. ⁸⁷However, according to the present atmosphere, wasteful and negative things influence the intellect a great deal, and because of this, the power of realisation to make an accurate and true decision decreases.

⁶⁹samajh se mahsoosta hoti hai - haan yeh wrong hai,yeh theek nahin hai lekin ek hai vivek se mahsoosta, doosra hai dil se mahsoosta।

⁸⁸There is realisation through the understanding that, "Yes, this is wrong!" ⁸⁹"This is not right!" ⁹⁰However, one is realisation with common sense and the other is realisation with your heart.

⁷⁰agar dil se koi bhi baat ko mahsoos kar liya to duniya badal jaae lekin svayan nahin badlega।

⁹¹When you realise something with your heart, then, even if the world changes, you yourself would not change.

⁷¹aur sanskaar, puraane63 janmon ke hone ke kaaran natural ho gaye hain,jisko doosre shabdon mein kehte ho ‘yeh‘galti nahin hai lekin meri nature hai’।

⁹²So you have been told about the mind and intellect. ⁹³Now the sanskars. ⁹⁴Because your sanskars are 63 births old, they have become natural. ⁹⁵In other words, you say, “This is not a mistake, but it is my nature.”

⁷²to puraane sanskaar kuchh mitte hain,kuchh dab jaate hain phir nikal aate hain।

⁹⁶Therefore, some of the old sanskars are erased and others are suppressed, but then emerge again.

⁷³lekin sarva samarpan ka arth hai - man ka bhaav aur bhaavna har aatma ke prati parivartan ho jaae, jisko baapdaada kehte hain kaisi bhi aatma ho, bhinna-bhinna to hogi hi,kalpa vriksha hai,variety nahin ho to shobha nahin lekin har aatma ke prati shubh bhaavna aur shubh kaamna।

⁹⁷However, total surrender means that the motives and feelings in your mind for every soul should be transformed. ⁹⁸BapDada refers to this as: No matter what souls are like, there will always be a variety. ⁹⁹This is the kalpa tree, and if there were no variety in that, then there wouldn't be any beauty. ¹⁰⁰However, there should be good wishes and pure feelings for every soul.

⁷⁴ashubh bhaavna ko bhi parivartan kar shubh bhaavna rakhna va shubh bhaavna dena।

¹⁰¹You even have to transform bad wishes and have good wishes and pure feelings.

⁷⁵har aatma ke prati shubh kaamna, yeh avashya badlenge।

¹⁰²Have good wishes for every soul that they will definitely transform themselves.

⁷⁶aisa nahin ki yeh to badalna hi nahin hai, uske prati judge banke judgement nahin do, yeh badalna hi nahin hai।

¹⁰³Don't think: This one is never going to change. ¹⁰⁴Don't become their judge and make a judgement that they are never going to change.

⁷⁷jab challenge ki hai ki prakriti ko bhi parivartan kar satoguni banaana hi hai,banaana hi hai।

¹⁰⁵Since you have issued a challenge that you will transform the elements and make them satoguni, then you have to do it.

⁷⁸banegi, nahin banengi - question nahin, banaana hi hai।

¹⁰⁶There is no question of whether or not they will become that, but it is you who have to make them that.

⁷⁹‘hi’shabd ko underline kiya hai।

¹⁰⁷You have underlined the words "have to do it".

⁸⁰to kya prakriti badal sakti hai,aatma nahin badal sakti?

¹⁰⁸So is it that the elements can change but the soul cannot change?

⁸¹aatma to prakriti ka puroosh hai।

¹⁰⁹The soul is the master of matter.

⁸²to prakriti badle,puroosh nahin badle kyon?

¹¹⁰Matter changes and the master doesn't. ¹¹¹Why?

⁸³to vartamaan samay yeh man-buddhi-sanskaar,sva ke parivartan aur sarva ke parivartan - yahi seva hai।

¹¹²So at the present time the only service to do is transformation of the self ­ the mind, intellect and sanskars; the transformation of everything.

⁸⁴sabhi poochhte hain - is varsha mein kya karna hai?

¹¹³Everyone is asking: What are we going to do this year?

⁸⁵to double seva karni hai।

¹¹⁴You have to do double service.

⁸⁶ek to sva ko sarva samarpan aur itna sva ko samarpan karo jo aapka vaayumandal,aapka vibration,aapka sang,aapka dil ka sahayog, aapke dil ki duaayen auron ko bhi sahaj parivartan karne mein sahayog den।

¹¹⁵First, totally surrender the self! ¹¹⁶Surrender the self to such an extent that your vibrations, atmosphere, company, co­operation of the heart, and blessings of the heart help others to bring about easy transformation.

⁸⁷itna sva parivartan karna hai।

¹¹⁷You have to transform the self to this extent.

⁸⁸sarva samaarpit karna hai।

¹¹⁸You have to totally surrender everything.

⁸⁹ek yeh seva aur doosri hai lok seva,result mein dekha hai ki chaaron or desh mein, videsh mein, gaanv mein sabhi brahman bachchon ne ab tak jo seva ki hai, baap ke muhabbat se ki hai, uski to baapdaada bahut-bahut-bahut mubaarak dete hain। ⁹⁰aage kya karna hai?

¹¹⁹This is one type of service and the other is serving other people. ¹²⁰As a result, it has been seen that everywhere in this land and abroad, whatever service you Brahmin children have done, even in the villages, you have done it with love for the Father. ¹²¹BapDada is giving many, many congratulations for that.

⁹¹baapdaada ne dekha jo brahman bane hain, braahmanon ki bhi vriddhi hai aur bhi teevragti ki vriddhi honi hai।

¹²²What will you do in the future? ¹²³BapDada has seen that there is growth of Brahmins and there will be even faster growth.

⁹²lekin saath mein jo lok priy seva ki hai, bhinna-bhinna project dvaara seva ho rahi hai, woh bahut achhi hai।

¹²⁴However, together with this, the service you have done that people like, the service that is taking place through the different projects, is very good.

⁹³abhi bhinna-bhinna sthaanon par sahayogi aatmaayen achhi nimitta bani hain।

¹²⁵Now very good co­operative souls have become good instruments at many different places.

⁹⁴sahayogi to bahut achhe hain, ek kadam sahayog ka hai, ek paanv to badhaaya hai lekin doosra paanv hai - sahajyogi, karmayogi।

¹²⁶They are very good co­operative souls. ¹²⁷They have taken one step of co­operation; they have put one foot forward. ¹²⁸However, the other foot is to become an easy yogi and a karma yogi.

⁹⁵karmayogi ya sahajyogi bhi kuchh kuchh ban gaye hain, yeh bhi stage doosri hai।

¹²⁹A few have become karma yogis and easy yogis to some extent; this is the second stage.

⁹⁶abhi aisi aatmaayen practical swaroop se stage par part bajaayen।

¹³⁰Now, such souls have to play a practical part on the stage.

⁹⁷mike stage par hota hai na!

¹³¹A mike is always on the stage.

⁹⁸to mike ban seva ki stage par pratyaksha swaroop mein bhi aayenge zaroor।

¹³²Therefore they should become mikes and definitely come on to the stage of service in a visible way.

⁹⁹aap might ho,woh mike।

¹³³You are the might and they are the mikes.

¹⁰⁰jaise brahma baap avyakt roop mein might hai,aur aap bachchon ko mike banaaya,aise aap might bano aur aise mike taiyaar karo।

¹³⁴Just as Brahma Baba in the subtle form is the might who has made you children mikes, in the same way, now become the might and prepare such mikes.

¹⁰¹hain, bahut achhe-achhe,ummeendavaar fast jaane vaale hain, sirf ab aur aisi aatmaon ke connection ko badhaane ki aavashyakta hai।

¹³⁵They are very good, there is hope for them, and they can go fast. ¹³⁶However, now it is necessary to increase the connection with such souls.

¹⁰²woh chaahte hain kya karen,kaise karen,unhon ko might ban vidhi aisi sunaao jo laukik occupation aur alaukik seva donon ka balance rakhte hue last so fast, fast so first ke line mein aa jaaen।

¹³⁷They want to know what to do and how to do it. ¹³⁸Become the might and show them that whilst maintaining a balance of their worldly occupation and their spiritual service, they, who have come last, can go fast and come into the line of those who come first.

¹⁰³aise hain,pratyaksha hone hain।

¹³⁹There are such souls; they just have to be revealed!

¹⁰⁴sirf connection aur current do,roohaaniyat ki current, vibration,vaayumandal ki current aur vidhi, jo nimitta banen ki balance rakhne vaali jeevan bahut achhi aur sahaj hai।

¹⁴⁰Simply maintain a connection with them and give them a current! ¹⁴¹The current of spirituality, the current of vibrations and atmosphere and also show them the way to become instruments to reveal that a balanced life is very good and easy.

¹⁰⁵theek hai na!

¹⁴²Is this all right?

¹⁰⁶kya karna hai,woh sun liya na! ¹⁰⁷chhota-chhota guldasta to taiyaar karo।

¹⁴³You have now heard what you have to do, have you not?

¹⁰⁸chalo bada guldasta nahin, 5phoolon ka, 10 phoolon ka guldasta to laao।

¹⁴⁴Prepare small bouquets. ¹⁴⁵OK, not a big bouquet, but at least bring a bouquet of 5 or 10 flowers.

¹⁰⁹aur har ek taraph baapdaada ki najron mein hain।

¹¹⁶ek taraph se foreign ka, ek taraph bhaarat ka, donon guldaste stage par aayenge।

¹⁵⁴The bouquet from abroad on one side and the bouquet from Bharat on the other. ¹⁵⁵Both bouquets will come on to the stage.

¹¹⁷jaise yeh ceremony manaate hain to woh bhi ceremony manaayenge, donon guldaston ki,bhaarat ki bhi videsh ki bhi।

¹⁵⁶Just as you celebrate this ceremony, so we shall then also celebrate that ceremony with both bouquets, one from Bharat and one from abroad.

¹⁶²Bring those who have a balance of their worldly and spiritual occupation, not just those who have a Brahmin life like you, but both worldly and spiritual.

¹⁶³Their impact will be greater. ¹⁶⁴People will come to you for drishti.

¹⁶⁵Achcha, what are you thinking, Jayanti?

¹³⁰yahaan paandav dekho,bhaarat ke paandav koi kam hain,subhaanaalla hain।

¹³¹yeh dekho,kuchh-kuchh to baithe bhi hain।
