Question

2Praśhna  : bāp apnē vāris bachchō̃ kō kaun-sā varsā dēnē āyē haĩ  ?

4Question: What inheritance has the Father come to give His heir children?

Answer

3Uttar  : bāp sukh , śhānti , prēm kā sāgar hai . 4Yahī sārā khajānā vah tumhē̃ will kartē haĩ .

5Answer: The Father is the Ocean of Peace, Happiness and Love. 6He wills all of these treasures to you. 7He wills them to you in such a way that, even though you continue to use them all for 21 births, they do not diminish.

5Aisā will kar dētē jō 21 janm tak tum khātē rahō , khuṭ nahī̃ saktā .

8He changes you from shells into diamonds.

6Tumhē̃ kauṛī sē hīrē jaisā banā dētē haĩ .

9You claim all of the Father’s treasures with the power of yoga.

7Tum bāp kā sārā khajānā yōgbal sē lētē hō . 8Yōg K|kē binā khajānā nahī̃ mil saktā hai .

10Without having yoga, you cannot receive these treasures.

Murli

9Ōm śhānti .

11Om shanti.

10Śhiv bhagvānuvāch .

12God Shiva speaks.

11Ab śhiv bhagvān nirākār kō tō sabhī māntē haĩ .

13Everyone believes in incorporeal God Shiva.

12Ēk hī nirākār śhiv hai , jiskī sab pūjā kartē haĩ .

14It is only the one incorporeal Shiva whom everyone worships.

13Bākī jō bhī dēhdhārī haĩ unkā sākār rūp hai .

15All bodily beings have corporeal forms.

14Pahlē-pahlē nirākār ātmā thī phir sākār banī hai .

16Souls are first incorporeal and then they become corporeal.

15Sākār bantī hai , śharīr mē̃ pravēśh kartī hai tab unkā part chaltā hai .

17It is when they become corporeal by entering bodies that their parts are enacted.

16Mūlvatan mē̃ tō kōī part hai nahī̃ . 17Jaisē actors ghar mē̃ haĩ tō nāṭak kā part nahī̃ . 18Stage par ānē sē part bajātē haĩ .

18There are no parts in the incorporeal world, just as actors don't have to play a part when they are at home; they play their parts when they are on the stage.

19Ātmāyē̃ bhī yahā̃ ākar śharīr dvārā part bajātī haĩ .

19Similarly, souls too come here and play their parts through bodies.

20Part par hī sārā madār hai .

20It all depends on each one’s part.

21Ātmā mē̃ tō kōī phark nahī̃ hai .

21There is no difference in souls.

22Jaisē tum bachchō̃ key|kī ātmā hai , vaisē inkī ātmā hai .

22Just as there are the souls of you children, so there is the soul of that One.

23Bāp param ātmā kyā kartē haĩ  ?

23What does the Father, the Supreme Soul, do?

24Unkā occupation kyā hai , vō jānnā hai .

24You have to know what His occupation is.

25Kōī president hai , rājā hai , yah ātmā kā occupation hai nā .

25If someone is a president or a king, that is the occupation of the soul.

26Yah pavitra dēvtāyē̃ haĩ , isliē inkō pūjā jātā hai .

26Deities are worshipped because they are pure.

27Abhī tum samajhtē hō yah paṛhāī paṛhkar lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ viśhva K|kē mālik banē haĩ .

27You now understand that Lakshmi and Narayan became the masters of the world by studying this study.

28Kisnē banāyā  ?

28Who made them like that?

29Param ātmā nē .

29The Supreme Soul.

30Tum ātmāyē̃ bhī paṛhātī hō .

30You souls also teach.

31Baṛāī yah hai jō bāp ākar tum bachchō̃ kō paṛhātē haĩ aur rājyōg bhī sikhlātē haĩ .

31The greatness is that the Father comes and educates you children and also teaches you Raja Yoga.

32Kitnā sahaj hai .

32It is so easy.

33Iskō kahā jātā hai rājyōg .

33This is called Raja Yoga.

34Bāp kō yād karnē sē ham satōpradhān ban jātē haĩ .

34By remembering the Father, we become satopradhan. 35The Father is satopradhan.

35Bāp tō hai hī satōpradhān .

36People sing His praise so much.

36Unkī kitnī mahimā gātē haĩ . 37Bhakti mārg mē̃ kitnā phal , dūdh ādi chaṛhātē haĩ .

37On the path of devotion, people offer Him so much fruit and milk etc., but they do not understand anything.

38Samajh kuchh nahī̃ . 39Dēvtāō̃ kō pūjtē haĩ , śhiv par dūdh , fool|phūl ādi chaṛhātē haĩ , kuchh patā nahī̃ .

38They worship the deities and offer fruit and milk etc. to Shiva, but they don't know anything.

40Dēvtāō̃ nē rājya kiyā . 41Achchhā , śhiv par kyō̃ chaṛhātē  ?

39The deities ruled the kingdom, so why do people offer these things to Shiva?

42Usnē kyā karttavya kiyā hai jō itnā pūjtē hō  ?

40What acts did He carry out that people worship Him so much?

43Dēvtāō̃ kā tō phir bhī mālūm hai , vah haĩ svarg K|kē mālik .

41You know about the deities, that they were the masters of the world.

44Unhō̃ kō kisnē banāyā , yah bhī patā nahī̃ .

42They don't even know who made them like that.

45Pūjā bhī kartē haĩ śhiv key|kī parantu khyāl mē̃ nahī̃ ki yah bhagvān hai .

43People worship Shiva, but they don't know that He is God. 44God made them (the deities) like that.

46Bhagvān nē inhō̃ kō aisā banāyā hai . 47Kitnī bhakti kartē haĩ .

45They perform so much devotion, but all of them are ignorant.

48Haĩ sab anjān . 49Tumnē bhī śhiv key|kī pūjā kī hōgī , abhī tum samajhtē hō , āgē kuchh bhī nahī̃ jāntē thē .

46You must have performed worship of Shiva and you now understand all of that, but, previously, you didn't know anything either.

50Unkā occupation kyā hai , kyā sukh dētē haĩ , kuchh bhī patā nahī̃ thā .

47You didn't know what His occupation is or what happiness He gives you.

51Kyā yah dēvtāyē̃ sukh dētē haĩ  ?

48Do those deities give you happiness?

52Bhal rājā-rānī , prajā kō sukh dētē haĩ parantu unhō̃ kō tō śhivbābā nē aisā banāyā nā .

49Although the king and queen give happiness to their subjects, it was Shiv Baba who made them as they are.

53Balihārī unkī hai .

50The greatness is of that One.

54Yah tō sirph rājāī kartē haĩ , prajā bhī ban jātī hai . 55Bākī yah kōī kā kalyāṇ nahī̃ kartē haĩ .

51Those people simply rule a kingdom and the subjects are also created, but they don't benefit anyone.

56Agar kartē bhī haĩ tō alpkāl kē liē .

52If they do benefit anyone, it is only for a temporary period.

57Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō bāp baiṭh paṛhātē haĩ .

53The Father sits here and teaches you children.

58Unkō kahā jātā hai kalyāṇkārī .

54He is called the Benefactor.

59Bāp apnā parichay dētē haĩ , mērē liṅg key|kī tum pūjā kartē thē , unkō param ātmā kahtē thē .

55The Father gives His own introduction: You used to worship Me as a lingam. 56You used to call Him the Supreme Soul, and that then became Paramatma (God).

60Param ātmā sē paramātmā hō jātā .

57However, people don't know what He does.

61Parantu yah nahī̃ jāntē ki yah kyā kartē haĩ .

58They simply say that He is omnipresent or that He is beyond name and form.

62Bas , sirph kah dēgē ki vah sarvavyāpī hai .

59In that case, it doesn't seem right to offer Him milk etc.

63Nām-rūp sē nyārā hai . 64Phir us par dūdh ādi chaṛhānā , śhōbhtā nahī̃ hai .

60It is because He has a form that people offer those things to Him.

65Ākār hai tab tō us par chaṛhātē haĩ nā .

61He cannot be called the One without a form. 62People argue with you a lot.

66Unkō nirākār tō kah nahī̃ saktē .

63They even used to come to Baba and argue with him.

67Tumsē manuṣhya argue bahut kartē haĩ , bābā kē āgē bhī ākar argue hī karē̃gē .

64They would eat up their heads (trouble them) unnecessarily, but there was no benefit in that.

68Phāltū māthā khapāyēṅgē . 69Phāydā kuchh bhī nahī̃ .

65It is the duty of you children to explain this.

70Yah samjhānā tō tum bachchō̃ kā kām hai .

66You children know how elevated Baba made you.

71Tum bachchē jāntē hō bābā nē hamkō kitnā ūñch banāyā hai .

67This is a study and the Father becomes your Teacher and teaches you.

72Yah paṛhāī hai . 73Bāp teacher ban paṛhātē haĩ .

68You are studying to change from human beings into deities.

74Tum manuṣhya sē dēvtā bannē kē liē paṛh rahē hō .

69Deities exist in the golden age; they don't exist in the iron age.

75Dēvī-dēvtā haĩ satyug mē̃ . 76Kaliyug mē̃ hōtē nahī̃ .

70There is no kingdom of Rama here that they could remain pure.

77Rām rājya hī nahī̃ jō pavitra rah sakē̃ .

71Deities used to exist and then they went on to the path of sin.

78Dēvī-dēvtā thē phir vām mārg mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ .

72However, they aren't like they have been portrayed in those images.

79Bākī jaisē chitra dikhāyē haĩ , aisē nahī̃ . 80Jagannāth K|kē mandir mē̃ tum dēkhē̃gē kālē chitra haĩ .

73If you saw the images at the Jagannath Temple, you would see that they are such dirty images.

81Bāp kahtē haĩ māyā jītē jagatjīt banō .

74The Father says: Conquer Maya and become conquerors of the world.

82Tō unhōnnē phir jagatanāth nām rakh diyā hai .

75So, those people then gave the temple the name Jagannath (Lord of the World).

83Ūpar mē̃ sab gandē chitra dikhāyē haĩ , dēvtāyē̃ vām mārg mē̃ gayē tō kālē ban paṛē .

76Around the top, they have shown dirty images. 77When the deities went on to the path of sin, they became ugly.

84Unkī bhī pūjā kartē rahtē haĩ .

78People continue to worship them too.

85Manuṣhyō̃ kō tō kuchh patā nahī̃ - kab ham pūjya thē  ?

79People don't know anything about when they were worthy of worship.

8684 janmō̃ kā hisāb kiskī bhī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ hai .

80The account of 84 births doesn't enter anyone's intellect.

87Pahlē pūjya satōpradhān phir 84 janm lētē-lētē tamōpradhān pujārī ban paṛtē haĩ .

81First of all, you were worthy of worship and satopradhan and then, while taking 84 births, you became tamopradhan and worshippers.

88Raghunāth mandir mē̃ kālā chitra dikhātē haĩ , arth|earth tō unkā kuchh bhī samajhtē nahī̃ .

82They show images made of black stone at the Raghunath Temple, too, but they don't understand the meaning of that either.

89Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

83The Father now sits here and explains to you children.

90Gyān chitā par baiṭh gōrē bantē hō , kām chitā par baiṭh kālē ban paṛtē hō .

84You become beautiful by sitting on the pyre of knowledge and you become ugly by sitting on the pyre of lust.

91Dēvtāyē̃ vām mārg mē̃ jākar vikārī ban paṛē phir unkā nām dēvtā tō rakh nahī̃ saktē .

85Deities went on to the path of sin and became vicious and so they could no longer be called deities.

92Vām mārg mē̃ jānē sē kālē ban paṛē hō , yah niśhānī dikhāī hai .

86By going on to the path of sin, the deities have become ugly; they have been portrayed as such.

93Kr̥iṣhṇa kālā , rām bhī kālā , śhiv kō bhī kālā banā dētē .

87They show Krishna as ugly, Rama as ugly and also Shiva as ugly.

94Tum jāntē hō ki śhivbābā tō kālā bantā hī nahī̃ .

88You know that Shiv Baba never becomes ugly.

95Vah tō hīrā hai , jō tumkō bhī hīrē jaisā banātē haĩ .

89He is the Diamond who also makes you become like diamonds.

96Vah tō kabhī kālā bantē nahī̃ , unkō phir kālā kyō̃ banā diyā hai  !

90He never becomes ugly. 91So, why have they shown Him to be ugly?

97Kōī kālā hōgā , usnē baiṭh kālā banāyā hōgā .

92It would have been someone who was ugly who made an ugly image of Him.

98Śhivbābā kahtē haĩ hamnē kyā dōṣh kiyā jō mujhē kālā banā diyā hai .

93Shiv Baba says: What crime did I commit that you have shown Me as ugly?

99Maĩ tō ātā hī hū̃ sabkō gōrā banānē , maĩ tō sadaiv gōrā hū̃ .

94I come to make everyone beautiful. 95I am always beautiful.

100Manuṣhyō̃ key|kī aisī buddhi ban paṛī hai jō kuchh bhī samajhtē nahī̃ .

96The intellects of human beings have become such that they don't understand anything.

101Śhivbābā tō hai hī sabkō hīrā banānē vālā .

97Shiv Baba is the One who makes everyone into diamonds.

102Maĩ tō ever gōrā musāphir hū̃ .

98I am the everbeautiful Traveller.

103Mainnē kyā kiyā jō mujhē kālā banāyā hai .

99What did I do that you have shown Me as ugly?

104Ab tumkō bhī gōrā bannā hai ūñch pad pānē liē .

100You too now have to become beautiful in order to claim a high status.

105Ūñch pad kaisē pānā hai  ?

101How will you claim a high status?

106Vah tō bāp nē samjhāyā hai follow father .

102The Father has explained: Do that by following the father.

107Jaisē isnē ( bābā nē ) sab-kuchh bāp K|kē havālē kar diyā .

103This one (Brahma Baba) gave everything to the Father.

108Father kō dēkhō kaisē sab kuchh dē diyā . 109Bhal sādhāraṇ thē , na bahut garīb , na bahut sāhūkār thē .

104Look how the father gave everything away, even though he was ordinary – neither very wealthy nor very poor.

110Bābā abhī bhī kahtē haĩ tumhārā khān pān bīch kā sādhāraṇ hōnā chāhiē . 111Na bahut ūñch , na bahut cum|kam .

105Even now Baba says: Your food and drink should be of an ordinary level; it should neither be too rich nor too plain.

112Bāp hī sab śhikṣhā dētē haĩ .

106The Father gives you all of these teachings.

113Yah bhī dēkhnē mē̃ tō sādhāraṇ hī ātē haĩ .

107This one is also ordinary to look at.

114Tumkō kahtē hai kahā̃ hai bhagvān , dikhāō .

108People say to you: Where is God? 109Show Him to me.

115Arē , ātmā bindī hai , unkō dēkhē̃gē kyā  !

110A soul is just a point; how can you see it?

116Yah tō jāntē hō ātmā kā sākṣhātkār in āṅkhō̃ sē hōtā nahī̃ .

111You know that you cannot have a vision of a soul with those eyes.

117Tum kahtē hō bhagvān paṛhātē haĩ tō jarūr kōī śharīrdhārī hōgā .

112You say that God is teaching you and so there must surely be a bodily being too.

118Nirākār kaisē paṛhāyēṅgē .

113How could the incorporeal One teach you?

119Manuṣhyō̃ kō tō kuchh bhī patā nahī̃ hai .

114People don't know anything at all.

120Jaisē tum ātmā hō , śharīr dvārā part bajātē hō . 121Ātmā hī part bajātī hai .

115Just as you are souls and you play your parts through bodies, so the Soul too speaks through a body.

122Ātmā hī bōltī hai , śharīr dvārā . 123Tō ātmā vāch . 124Parantu ātmā vāch śhōbhtā nahī̃ .

116So, there are the versions spoken by the Soul, but it doesn't seem right to say, "Versions of the Soul".

125Ātmā tō vānaprasth , vāṇī sē parē hai , vāch tō śharīr sē hī karēgī .

117The Soul is in the stage of retirement, beyond sound, and he would only speak through a body.

126Vāṇī sē parē sirph ātmā hī rah jātī hai .

118It is only souls that resides beyond sound.

127Vāṇī mē̃ ānā hai tō śharīr jarūr chāhiē .

119If you want to come into sound, you definitely need a body.

128Bāp bhī gyān kā sāgar hai tō jarūr kiskē śharīr kā ādhār lēgā nā .

120The Father is also the Ocean of Knowledge and so He would definitely take the support of someone's body.

129Uskō rath kahā jātā hai .

121This one is called the chariot.

130Nahī̃ tō vah sunāyē kaisē  ?

122How else would He speak to you?

131Bāp patit sē pāvan bannē liē śhikṣhā dētē haĩ .

123The Father is giving you teachings to make you pure from impure.

132Prērṇā key|kī bāt nahī̃ .

124There is no question of inspiration.

133Yah tō gyān key|kī bāt hai .

125These are matters of knowledge.

134Vah āyē kaisē  ?

126How can He come?

135Kiskē śharīr mē̃ āyē  ?

127Whose body would He enter?

136Āyēgā tō jarūr manuṣhya mē̃ hī .

128He would surely enter the body of a human being.

137Kis manuṣhya mē̃ āyē  ?

129Which human being’s body would He enter?

138Kōī kō patā nahī̃ hai , sivāē tumhārē .

130No one, except you, knows this.

139Rachayitā khud hī baiṭh apnā parichay dētē haĩ . 140Maĩ kaisē aur kis rath mē̃ ātā hū̃ .

131The Creator Himself sits here and gives you His introduction: how I come and which chariot I enter.

141Bachchē tō jāntē haĩ ki bāp kā rath kaun-sā hai .

132You children know which chariot is the Father's.

142Bahut manuṣhya mūñjhē huē haĩ .

133People are very confused.

143Kis-kis kā rath banā dētē haĩ .

134They show His chariot to be so many things.

144Jānvar ādi mē̃ tō ā na sakē̃ .

135He cannot enter an animal etc.

145Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ kis manuṣhya mē̃ āū̃ .

136People cannot understand which human being I have to enter.

146Yah tō samajh nahī̃ saktē .

137I have to come in Bharat.

147Ānā bhī bhārat mē̃ hī hōtā hai .

138Which resident of Bharat’s body would I enter?

148Bhāratvāsiyō̃ mē̃ bhī kiskē tan mē̃ āū̃ , kyā president vā sādhū mahātmā K|kē rath mē̃ āyēgā  ?

139Would He enter the chariot of the President, a sage or a great soul? 140It isn't that He would enter a pure chariot: this is the kingdom of Ravan.

149Aisē bhī nahī̃ hai ki pavitra rath mē̃ ānā hai .

141“The Resident of the faraway land” has been remembered.

150Yah tō hai hī rāvaṇ rājya . 151Gāyan bhī hai dūr dēśh kā rahnē vālā .

142You children also know that Bharat is the imperishable land which is never destroyed.

152Yah bhī bachchō̃ kō patā hai ki bhārat avināśhī khaṇḍ hai .

143The eternal Father only comes in the imperishable land of Bharat.

153Uskā kabhī vināśh nahī̃ hōtā .

144He Himself tells you which body He enters.

154Avināśhī bāp avināśhī bhārat khaṇḍ mē̃ hī ātē haĩ . 155Kis tan mē̃ ātē haĩ , vah khud hī batātē haĩ . 156Aur tō kōī jān na sakē .

145No one else can know this. 146You know that He cannot enter the body of a sage or great soul; they are hatha yogis who belong to the path of isolation.

157Tum jāntē hō kōī sādhū mahātmā mē̃ bhī ā na sakē .

147There then remain the devotees who are residents of Bharat.

158Vah haĩ haṭhyōgī , nivr̥itti mārg vālē .

148Of the devotees too, which devotee's body would He enter?

159Bākī rahē bhāratvāsī bhakta . 160Ab bhaktō̃ mē̃ bhī kis bhakta mē̃ āyē  ?

149It has to be an old devotee who has performed a lot of devotion.

161Bhakta purānā chāhiē , jisnē bahut bhakti kī hō .

150God has to come to give the fruit of devotion.

162Bhakti kā phal bhagvān kō dēnē ānā paṛtā hai .

151There are so many devotees in Bharat.

163Bhārat mē̃ bhakta tō ḍhēr haĩ . 164Kahē̃gē yah baṛā bhakta hai , ismē̃ ānā chāhiē .

152They would say: This one is a great devotee and God should enter him.

165Aisē tō bahut bhakta ban paṛtē haĩ .

153There are many who become devotees like this.

166Kal bhī kōī kō vairāgya āyē , bhakta ban jāyē .

154If someone were to have disinterest tomorrow, he would become a devotee.

167Vah tō is janm kā bhakta hō gayā nā . 168Usmē̃ āyēṅgē nahī̃ .

155However, that would only make him a devotee for this one birth.

169Maĩ usmē̃ ātā hū̃ , jisnē pahlē-pahlē bhakti śhurū key|kī .

156God would not enter that one. 157I enter the one who began devotion first.

170Dvāpar sē lēkar bhakti śhurū huī hai .

158Devotion began in the copper age.

171Yah hisāb-kitāb kōī samajh na sakē̃ .

159No one can understand this account.

172Kitnī gupta bātē̃ haĩ .

160These are such incognito matters.

173Maĩ ātā hū̃ usmē̃ jō pahlē-pahlē bhakti śhurū kartē haĩ .

161I enter the one who begins devotion first.
