Essence
1' ' mīṭhē bachchē - tumhārī paṛhāī kā sārā madār hai yōg par , yōg sē hī ātmā pavitra bantī hai , vikarma vināśh hōtē haĩ ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, everything in your study depends on yoga. 2It is by having yoga that you souls become pure and you are absolved your sins.
Question
2Praśhna : kaī bachchē bāp kā bankar phir hāth chhōṛ dētē haĩ , kāraṇ kyā hōtā hai ?
3Question: Some children belong to the Father and then let go of His hand. 4What is the reason for this?
Answer
3Uttar : bāp kō pūrī rīti na pahchānnē K|kē kāraṇ , pūrā niśhchaybuddhi na hōnē K|kē kāraṇ 8-10 varṣh kē bād bhī bāp kō phārkatī dē dētē haĩ , hāth chhōṛ dētē haĩ .
5Answer: Some children divorce the Father and let go of His hand even after belonging to Him for eight to ten years. 6This is because they do not fully recognize the Father and don't have faithful intellects; their status is destroyed.
4Pad bhraṣhṭa hō jātā hai . 52 - criminal eye hōnē sē māyā key|kī grahachārī baiṭh jātī hai , avasthā nīchē ūpar hōtī rahtī hai tō bhī paṛhāī chhūṭ jātī hai .
7When children have criminal eyes, there are bad omens of Maya and their stage fluctuates and they then stop studying.
Murli
6Ōm śhānti .
8Om shanti.
7Rūhānī bachchō̃ prati rūhānī bāp samjhā rahē haĩ .
9The spiritual Father explains to the spiritual children.
8Abhī samajhtē hō ki ham sab rūhānī bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē bachchē haĩ , inkō bāpdādā kahā jātā hai .
10You now understand that all of you are the spiritual children of the unlimited Father. 11You call us BapDada.
9Jaisē tum rūhānī bachchē hō vaisē yah ( brahmā ) bhī rūhānī bachchā hai śhivbābā kā .
12Just as you are spiritual children, so this one (Brahma) is also a spiritual child of Shiv Baba.
10Śhivbābā kō rath tō jarūr chāhiē nā isliē jaisē tum ātmāō̃ kō organs milē huē haĩ karma karnē kē liē , vaisē śhivbābā kā bhī yah rath hai kyōṅki yah karmakṣhētra hai jahā̃ karma karnā hōtā hai .
13Shiv Baba definitely needs a chariot. 14Therefore, just as you souls have received organs in order to acts, similarly, Shiv Baba has taken this chariot. 15This is the field of action where actions are to be performed.
11Vah hai ghar jahā̃ ātmāyē̃ rahtī haĩ .
16That is the home where souls reside.
12Ātmā nē jānā hai hamārā ghar śhāntidhām hai , vahā̃ yah khēl nahī̃ hōtā .
17You souls know that your home is the land of peace where no play is performed.
13Battiyā̃ ādi kuchh nahī̃ hōtī , sirph ātmāyē̃ rahtī haĩ .
18There are no lights etc. there; souls just reside there.
14Yahā̃ ātī haĩ part bajānē .
19They come here to play their parts.
15Tumhārī buddhi mē̃ hai-yah bēhad kā drama hai .
20It is in your intellects that this is an unlimited drama.
16Jō actors haĩ , unhō̃ key|kī act śhurū sē lēkar ant tak tum bachchē number-vār puruṣhārth anusār jāntē hō .
21You children know, numberwise, according to the efforts you make, all the acts that the actors perform from the beginning through the middle to the end.
17Yahā̃ kōī sādhū-santa ādi nahī̃ samjhātē haĩ .
22It is not a sage or holy man etc. here explaining to you.
18Yahā̃ ham bachchē bēhad K|kē bāp pās|pass baiṭhē haĩ , ab hamkō vāpis jānā hai , pavitra tō jarūr bannā hai ātmā kō .
23You children are sitting here with the unlimited Father. 24We now have to return home. 25Souls definitely have to become pure.
19Aisē nahī̃ ki śharīr bhī yahā̃ pavitra bannā hai , nahī̃ .
26It isn’t that the bodies will also become pure here; no.
20Ātmā pavitra bantī hai .
27It is souls that become pure.
21Śharīr tō pavitra tab banē̃ jab 5 tatva bhī satōpradhān hō̃ .
28The bodies will only be pure when the five elements have become satopradhan.
22Ab tumhārī ātmā purūṣhārth kar pāvan ban rahī hai .
29You souls are now making effort to become pure.
23Vahā̃ ātmā aur śharīr dōnō̃ pavitra hōtē haĩ .
30There, both the souls and the bodies are pure.
24Yahā̃ nahī̃ hō saktē .
31It cannot be like that here.
25Ātmā pavitra ban jātī hai tō phir purānā śharīr chhōṛtī hai , phir nayē tatvō̃ sē nayē śharīr bantē haĩ .
32When you souls become pure, you will leave your old bodies. 33Then, new bodies will be created out of the new elements.
26Tum jāntē hō hamārī ātmā bēhad K|kē bāp kō yād kartī hai vā nahī̃ kartī hai ?
34You know whether you, a soul, remember the unlimited Father or not.
27Yah tō har ēk kō apnē sē pūchhnā hai .
35Each of you has to ask yourself this question.
28Paṛhāī kā sārā madār hai yōg par .
36Everything in this study depends on yoga.
29Paṛhāī tō sahaj hai , samajh gayē haĩ ki chakra kaisē phirtā hai , mukhya hai hī yād kī yātrā . 30Yah andar gupta hai .
37The study is very easy. 38You understand how the cycle turns. 39The main thing is the pilgrimage of remembrance which is internal and incognito.
31Dēkhnē mē̃ thōṛēhī ātā hai .
40It is not possible to see it.
32Bābā nahī̃ kah saktē ki yah bahut yād kartē haĩ vā cum|kam .
41Baba cannot say whether someone has a lot or a little remembrance.
33Hā̃ , gyān kē liē batā sakē̃gē ki yah gyān mē̃ bahut tīkhā hai .
42Yes, for knowledge, you can say that someone is very clever in that subject.
34Yād kā tō kuchh dēkhnē mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hai .
43Nothing about remembrance is visible.
35Gyān mukh sē bōlā jātā hai .
44Knowledge is spoken with the mouth.
36Yād tō hai ajapājāp .
45Remembrance is the unchantable mantra.
37Jāp akṣhar bhakti mārg kā hai , jāp mānā kōī kā nām japnā .
46The word “chant” belongs to the path of devotion. 47To chant means to chant the name of someone.
38Yahā̃ tō ātmā kō apnē bāp kō yād karnā hai .
48Here, you souls have to remember your Father.
39Tum jāntē hō ham bāp kō yād kartē-kartē pavitra bantē-bantē muktidhām-śāntidhām mē̃ jākar pahũchēṅgē .
49You know that, by continuing to remember your Father and by continuing to become pure, you will reach the land of liberation and peace.
40Aisē nahī̃ ki drama sē mukt hō jāyēṅgē .
50It isn’t that you will be liberated from the drama.
41Mukti kā arth|earth hai - duḥkh sē mukt hō , śhāntidhām jāē phir sukhdhām mē̃ āyēṅgē .
51“Liberation” means to be liberated from sorrow. 52You will go to the land of peace and then go to the land of happiness.
42Pavitra jō bantē haĩ vah sukh bhōgtē haĩ .
53Those who become pure experience happiness.
43Apavitr manuṣhya unhō̃ key|kī khidmat kartē haĩ .
54Impure human beings serve them. 55There is praise of those who are pure.
44Pavitra key|kī mahimā hai , ismē̃ hī mēhnat hai .
56It is this that takes effort.
45Ôkhē̃ baṛā dhōkhā dētī haĩ , gir paṛtē haĩ .
57The eyes deceive you a great deal and you fall.
46Nīchē-ūpar tō sabkō hōnā paṛtā hai .
58Everyone has to fluctuate.
47Grahachārī sabkō lagtī hai .
59Everyone experiences bad omens.
48Bhal bābā kahtē , bachchē bhī samjhā saktē haĩ . 49Phir kahtē haĩ mātā gurū chāhiē kyōṅki ab mātā gurū kā system chaltā hai .
60Although Baba says that children can also explain, He also says: Mother gurus are required because there is a system nowadays of mother gurus.
50Āgē pitāō̃ kā thā .
61Previously, it used to be fathers.
51Abhī pahlē-pahlē kalaṣh mātāō̃ kō miltā hai .
62Now it is the mothers who are first given the urn.
52Mātāyē̃ majority mē̃ haĩ , kumāriyā̃ rākhī bāndhtī haĩ , pavitratā kē liē .
63The majority is of mothers. 64Kumaris tie a rakhi for purity. 65God says: Lust is the greatest enemy.
53Bhagvān kahtē haĩ kām mahāśhatru hai , is par jīt pahanō .
66Conquer it! 67Raksha Bandhan is the festival of purity.
54Rakṣhā bandhan pavitratā key|kī niśhānī hai , vō lōg rākhī bāndhtē haĩ .
68Those people tie a rakhi but they don’t become pure.
55Pavitra tō bantē nahī̃ haĩ .
69All of those rakhis are artificial.
56Vah sab haĩ artificial rākhī , kōī pāvan banānē vālē nahī̃ haĩ ismē̃ tō gyān chāhiē .
70None of them makes you pure. 71You need knowledge for that.
57Abhī tum rākhī bāndhtē hō .
72You now tie a rakhi.
58Arth|earth bhī samjhātē hō . 59Yah pratigyā karātē haĩ .
73You also explain the meaning of it and have them make a promise.
60Jaisē sikkh lōgō̃ kō kaṅgan niśhānī hōtī hai parantu pavitra tō bantē nahī̃ .
74The Sikhs wear a steel bangle as their symbol, but they don’t become pure either.
61Patit kō pāvan banānē vālā , sarv kā sadgati dātā ēk hai , vah bhī dēhdhārī nahī̃ hai .
75The Purifier of the impure and the Bestower of Salvation for All is only the One. 76He is not a bodily being.
62Pānī key|kī gaṅgā tō in āṅkhō̃ sē dēkhnē mē̃ ātī hai .
77The water of the Ganges is visible with these eyes.
63Bāp jō sadgati dātā hai , unkō in āṅkhō̃ sē nahī̃ dēkhā jātā .
78The Father, who is the Bestower of Salvation, cannot be seen with these eyes.
64Ātmā kō kōī bhī dēkh nahī̃ saktē ki vah kyā chīz hai .
79No one can see what a soul is.
65Kahtē bhī haĩ hamārē śharīr mē̃ ātmā hai , unkō dēkhā hai ?
80It is said that there is a soul in each body, but has anyone seen one?
66Kahē̃gē nahī̃ .
81They say, “No.”
67Aur sab chīzē̃ jiskā nām hai vah dēkhnē mē̃ jarūr ātī haĩ .
82Everything that has a name is definitely visible.
68Ātmā kā bhī nām tō hai .
83The soul too has a name.
69Kahtē bhī haĩ bhrakuṭī kē bīch chamaktā hai ajab sitārā .
84It is said that a wonderful star shines in the centre of the forehead.
70Parantu dēkhnē mē̃ nahī̃ ātē haĩ .
85However, it is not visible.
71Paramātmā kō bhī yād kartē haĩ , dēkhnē mē̃ kuchh nahī̃ āyēgā .
86They remember the Supreme Soul, but He is not visible.
72Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō dēkhā jātā hai in ôkhō̃ sē .
87Lakshmi and Narayan can be seen with these eyes.
73Liṅg key|kī bhal pūjā kartē haĩ parantu vah kōī yathārth rīti tō nahī̃ hai nā .
88Although people worship a lingam, that is not accurate.
74Dēkhtē huē bhī jāntē nahī̃ haĩ , paramātmā kyā ?
89Although they can see that, they don’t know who the Supreme Soul is.
75Yah kōī nahī̃ jān saktē .
90No one can know this.
76Ātmā tō bahut chhōṭī bindī hai .
91Souls are very tiny points.
77Dēkhnē mē̃ nahī̃ ātī hai .
92They are not visible.
78Na ātmā kō , na paramātmā kō dēkhā jā saktā hai , jānā jātā hai .
93Neither is a soul visible nor is the Supreme Soul visible, but they can be understood.
79Abhī tum jāntē hō hamārā bābā āyā huā hai inmē̃ .
94You now understand that your Baba has entered this one.
80Is śharīr key|kī apnī ātmā bhī hai , phir parampitā paramātmā kahtē haĩ-maĩ inkē rath par virājmān hū̃ isliē bāpdādā kahtē hō .
95This soul has his own body and then the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, says: I am present in this one’s chariot. 96This is why you call us BapDada.
81Ab dādā kō tō in ôkhō̃ sē dēkhtē hō , bāp kō nahī̃ dēkhtē hō .
97You can see Dada with your eyes, but you can’t see the Father.
82Jāntē hō bābā gyān kā sāgar hai , vah is śharīr dvārā hamkō gyān sunā rahē haĩ .
98You know that Baba is the Ocean of Knowledge and that He is giving you knowledge through this body.
83Vah gyān kā sāgar patit-pāvan hai .
99He is the Ocean of Knowledge and the Purifier.
84Nirākār rāstā kaisē batāyēṅgē ?
100How else could the incorporeal One show you the path?
85Prērṇā sē tō kōī kām nahī̃ hōtā .
101Nothing happens through inspiration.
86Bhagvān ātē haĩ yah kiskō bhī patā nahī̃ hai .
102No one knows that God comes. 103People also celebrate the birthday of Shiva.
87Śhiv jayantī bhī manātē haĩ tō jarūr yahā̃ ātā hōgā nā .
104Therefore, He must definitely have come here.
88Tum jāntē hō abhī vah hamkō paṛhā rahē haĩ .
105You know that He is now teaching you.
89Bābā ismē̃ ākar paṛhātē haĩ .
106Baba enters this one and teaches you.
90Bāp kō pūrī rīti na pahchānnē kāraṇ , niśhchaybuddhi na hōnē kāraṇ 8-10 varṣh kē bād bhī phārkatī dē dētē haĩ .
107Because of not fully recognizing the Father and not having faithful intellects, some divorce the Father even after eight to ten years.
91Māyā bilkul hī andhā banā dētī hai .
108Maya completely blinds them.
92Bāp kā bankar phir chhōṛ dētē haĩ tō pad bhraṣhṭa hō jātā hai .
109When you leave the Father after belonging to Him, your status is destroyed.
93Ab tum bachchō̃ kō bāp kā parichay milā hai tō aurō̃ kō bhī dēnā hai .
110You children have now received the Father’s introduction. 111Therefore, you have to give it to others.
94R̥iṣhi-muni ādi sab nētī-nētī kartē gayē .
112Rishis and munis have been saying, “Neti, neti” (neither this nor that).
95Āgē tum bhī jāntē nahī̃ thē .
113Previously, you didn’t know either.
96Abhī tum kahē̃gē hā̃ ham jāntē haĩ tō āstik hō gayē .
114You now say that you know everything about Him, and so you have become theists.
97Sr̥iṣhṭi kā chakra kaisē phirtā hai , yah bhī tum jāntē hō .
115You also know how the world cycle turns.
98Sārī duniyā aur tum khud is paṛhāī K|kē pahlē nāstik thē .
116As well as the whole world, you too, were atheists before you studied this.
99Ab bāp nē samjhāyā hai tō tum kahtē hō hamkō parampitā paramātmā bāp nē samjhāyā hai , āstik banāyā hai .
117Now that the Father has explained to you, you say that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, has explained to you and made you into theists.
100Ham rachtā aur rachnā K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō nahī̃ jāntē thē .
118We didn’t know the Creator or the beginning, the middle or the end of creation.
101Bāp hai rachtā , bāp hī saṅgam par ākar naī duniyā kī sthāpanā bhī kartē haĩ aur purānī duniyā kā vināśh bhī kartē haĩ .
119The Father is the Creator. 120He comes at the confluence age to establish the new world and destroy the old world.
102Purānī duniyā K|kē vināśh kē liē yah mahābhārat laṛāī hai , jiskē liē samajhtē haĩ , us samay kr̥iṣhṇa thā .
121There is this Mahabharat War for the destruction of the old world for which they believe that Krishna existed at that time.
103Abhī tum samajhtē hō-nirākār bāp thā , unkō dēkhā nahī̃ jātā hai .
122You now understand that it was the incorporeal Father who came. 123He cannot be seen.
104Kr̥iṣhṇa kā tō chitra hai , dēkhā jātā hai .
124There is the picture of Krishna; he can be seen.
105Śhiv kō dēkh nahī̃ saktē .
125Shiva cannot be seen.
106Kr̥iṣhṇa tō hai satyug kā prince .
126Krishna was a prince of the golden age.
107Vahī features phir hō na sakē̃ .
127He cannot have those same features again.
108Kr̥iṣhṇa bhī kab kaisē āyā , yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē .
128No one knows how or when Krishna came.
109Kr̥iṣhṇa kō kaṅs key|kī jēl mē̃ dikhātē haĩ .
129They show Krishna in the jail of Kans (devil).
110Kaṅs satyug mē̃ thā kyā ?
130Did Kans exist in the golden age?
111Yah hō kaisē saktā .
131How could that be possible?
112Kaṅs asur kō kahā jātā hai .
132Kans is a devil.
113Is samay sārī āsurī sampradāy hai nā . 114Ēk-dō kō māratē-kāṭatē rahtē haĩ .
133At this time, the whole world is the community of devils; they continue to kill one another.
115Daivī duniyā thī , yah bhūl gayē haĩ .
134They have forgotten that there used to be the divine world.
116Īśhvarīy daivī duniyā īśhvar nē sthāpan key|kī .
135God established the divine world of God.
117Yah bhī tumhārī buddhi mē̃ hai - number-vār purūṣhārth anusār .
136This is in your intellects, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.
118Abhī tum hō īśhvarīy parivār , phir vahā̃ hōṅgē daivī parivār .
137At present, you are God’s family and you will then become the deity family there.
119Is samay īśhvar tumkō lāyak banā rahē haĩ svarg kā dēvī-dēvtā banānē .
138At this time, God is making you worthy of becoming the deities of heaven. 139The Father is teaching you.
120Bāp paṛhā rahē haĩ .
140No one knows this confluence age.
121Is saṅgamyug kō kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē .
141None of the scriptures mention this most elevated confluence age.
122Kōī bhī śhāstra mē̃ is purūṣhōttam yug key|kī bāt nahī̃ hai .
142The most elevated confluence age means the time when people become elevated beings.
123Purūṣhōttam yug arthāt jahā̃ purūṣhōttam bannā hōtā hai .
143The golden age is called the most elevated age. 144Human beings are not elevated at this time.
124Satyug kō kahē̃gē purūṣhōttam yug .
145This world is called the lowest tamopradhan world.
125Is samay tō manuṣhya purūṣhōttam nahī̃ hai .
146No one, except you Brahmins, can understand these things.
126Inkō tō kaniṣhṭ tamōpradhān kahē̃gē , yah sab bātē̃ sivāē tum brāhmaṇō̃ K|kē aur kōī nahī̃ samajh saktē .
147The Father says: This is the corrupt world of devils. 148There won’t be this type of atmosphere in the golden age. 149That was the elevated world.
127Bāp kahtē haĩ yah hai āsurī bhraṣhṭāchārī duniyā .
150Their pictures do exist. 151Truly, they were the masters of the elevated world.
128Satyug mē̃ aisā kōī vātāvaraṇ nahī̃ hōtā .
152Those kings of Bharat who existed are worshipped.
129Vah thī śhrēṣhṭhāchārī duniyā . 130Unhō̃ K|kē chitra haĩ .
153They were pure and worthy of worship but have now become worshippers.
131Barōbar yah śhrēṣhṭhāchārī duniyā K|kē mālik thē . 132Bhārat K|kē rājāyē̃ hōkar gayē haĩ jō pūjē jātē haĩ .
154Worshippers are on the path of devotion whereas worthy-of-worship ones are on the path of knowledge.
133Pūjya pavitra thē , jō hī phir pujārī banē . 134Pujārī bhakti mārg kō , pūjya gyān mārg kō kahā jātā hai .
155You now understand how those who are worthy of worship become worshippers and how those who are worshippers become worthy of worship.
135Pūjya sō pujārī , pujārī phir pūjya kaisē bantē haĩ .
156There cannot be a single worthy-of-worship person in this world.
136Yah bhī tum jāntē hō is duniyā mē̃ pūjya ēk bhī hō na sakē .
157Only the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, and the deities can be worthy of worship.
137Pūjya parampitā paramātmā aur dēvtāō̃ kō hī kahā jātā hai .
158The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is worthy of being worshipped by everyone.
138Parampitā paramātmā hai sabkā pūjya .
159Those of all religions worship Him.
139Sab dharm vālē unkī pūjā kartē haĩ .
160The birth of such a Father is remembered here.
140Aisē bāp kā janm yahā̃ hī gāyā jātā hai . 141Śhiv jayantī hai nā .
161There is the birthday of Shiva, but people don't know that He takes birth in Bharat.
142Parantu manuṣhyō̃ kō kuchh patā nahī̃ ki unkā janm bhārat mē̃ hōtā hai , ājkal tō śhivjayantī key|kī holy ḍē|day bhī nahī̃ kartē .
162Nowadays, they don’t even have a holiday for the birthday of Shiva. 163Whether or not you celebrate the birthday is up to you, but it is not an official holiday.
143Jayantī manāō , na manāō , tumhārī marjī .
164Those who don’t believe in Shiv Jayanti go to work.
144Official holy ḍē|day nahī̃ hai .
165There are many religions.
145Jō śhivjayantī kō nahī̃ māntē haĩ , vah tō apnē kām par chalē jātē haĩ .
166Such things do not exist in the golden age. 167There isn’t this type of atmosphere there.
146Bahut dharm haĩ nā . 147Satyug mē̃ aisī bātē̃ hōtī nahī̃ .
168The golden age is the new world where there is only one religion.
148Vahā̃ yah vātāvaraṇ hī nahī̃ . 149Satyug hai hī naī duniyā , ēk dharm .
