3Question: What is the true, elevated service? 4What is the subtle and deep secret of doing accurate service?

Answer

4Uttar  : jab kisī sē kōī bhūl hōtī hai tō usē sāvdhān karnē kē sāth sūkṣhma rīti sē apnī yōg śhakti un tak pahuñcākar unkē aśhuddh saṅkalpō̃ kō bhasma karnā , yahī sarvōttam sachchī service hai .

5Answer: When someone makes a mistake, then, along with cautioning that one, let the power of your yoga reach them in a subtle way and burn away his or her impure thoughts.

5Sāth-sāth apnē ūpar bhī attention dēnā , mansā mē̃ bhī kōī aśhuddh saṅkalp utpanna na hō .

6This is the most elevated, true service. 7As well as that, also pay attention to yourself. 8Let no impure thoughts arise in your mind.

6Ismē̃ khud bhī sāvdhān rahnā aur dūsrō̃ prati aisī divya service karnā , yahī service kā sūkṣhma aur mahīn rāz hai .

9You yourself have to remain cautious and serve others in a divine way. 10This is the subtle and deep secret of doing service.

Murli

7Ōm śhānti .

11Om shanti.

8Har ēk puruṣhārthī bachchē kō pahlē antarmukh avasthā avaśhya dhāraṇ karnī hai .

12Each and every effort-making child first of all definitely has to adopt the stage of introversion.

9Antarmukhtā mē̃ baṛā hī kalyāṇ samāyā huā hai , is avasthā sē hī achal , sthir , dhairyavat , nirmāṇchit ityādi daivī guṇō̃ key|kī dhārṇā hō saktī hai tathā sampūrṇ gyānmay avasthā prāpt hō saktī hai .

13A lot of benefit is merged in introversion. 14It is only by having this stage that you can be unshakeable, constant, patient, humble, imbibe divine virtues and achieve a completely knowledge-full stage.

10Antarmukh na hōnē K|kē kāraṇ vah sampūrṇ gyān rūp avasthā nahī̃ prāpt hōtī kyōṅki jō bhī kuchh ' ' mahāvākya «  sammukh sunē jātē haĩ , agar usē gahrāī mē̃ jākar grahaṇ nahī̃ kartē sirph un mahāvākyō̃ kō sunkar repeat kar dētē haĩ tō vah mahāvākya , vākya hō jātē haĩ .

15When you are not introverted you cannot achieve a completely knowledge-full stage. 16This is because, if you don’t imbibe the elevated versions that you hear personally and you don’t go into their depths but just repeat the elevated versions you hear, then those elevated versions are simply versions.

11Jō gyān rūp avasthā mē̃ rahkar mahāvākya nahī̃ sunē jātē , un mahāvākyō̃ par māyā kā parchhāyā paṛ jātā hai .

17If the elevated versions are not heard in a knowledge-full stage, then Maya’s shadow is cast on those elevated versions.

12Ab aisī māyā K|kē aśhuddh vibration sē bharē huē mahāvākya sunkar sirph repeat karnē sē khud sahit aurō̃ kā kalyāṇ hōnē kē badlē akalyāṇ hō jātā hai isliē hē bachchō̃ ēkdam antarmukhī ban jāō .

18When you simply repeat the elevated versions you hear, they are influenced by the impure vibrations of Maya, and then, instead of you and others benefitting from them, loss is experienced, hence: “O children, become completely introverted!”.

13Āpkā yah man mandir sadr̥iśhya hai .

19Your mind is like a temple.

14Jaisē mandir sē sadaiv khuśhbū ātī hai aisē man mandir jab pavitra bantā hai tō saṅkalp bhī pavitra emerge hōtē haĩ .

20Just as you always have fragrance in a temple, in the same way, only when the temple of your mind becomes pure will pure thoughts emerge.

15Jaisē mandir mē̃ sirph pavitra dēvī dēvtāō̃ K|kē hī chitra rakhē jātē haĩ , na ki daityō̃ K|kē .

21Only images of pure deities, not devils, are kept in a temple.

16Aisē tum bachchē apnē man va dil rūpī mandir kō sarv īśhvarīy guṇō̃ key|kī mūrtiyō̃ sē sajā dō , vē|way guṇ haĩ - nirmōh , nirlōbh , nirbhay , dhairyavat , nirãhakār ityādi kyōṅki yah sab tumhārē hī divya lakṣhaṇ haĩ .

22In the same way, each of you children should decorate the temple of your mind and heart with the idols of all the divine virtues. 23Those virtues are: to be free from attachment, free from greed, free from fear, patient and egoless because these are your divine qualities.

17Āp bachchō̃ kō apnē man mandir kō ujiyārā arthāt sampūrṇ śhuddha banānā hai .

24You children have to make the temple of your mind very bright and clear, that is, completely pure.

18Jab man mandir ujiyārā banē̃ tab hī apnē ujiyārē pyārē vaikuṇṭha dēśh mē̃ chal sakē̃ .

25Only when that temple of yours becomes that bright and clear can you go to your very loving bright and clear Paradise.

19Tō ab apnē man kō ujval banānē kā prayatna karnā hai tathā man sahit vikārī karmēndriyō̃ kō vaśh karnā hai .

26You are now trying to make your mind completely bright and also to control your physical senses and your mind, which are all influenced by the vices.

20Parantu na sirph apnā magar anya prati bhī yahī divya service karnī hai .

27Not only do you have to serve yourself, you also have to do this divine service of others.

21Vāstav mē̃ service kā arth|earth ati sūkṣhma aur mahīn hai .

28In fact, the meaning of doing service is very subtle and deep.

22Aisā nahī̃ ki kiskī bhūl par sirph sāvdhān karnā itnē tak service hai .

29Doing service is not just cautioning someone about a mistake; no.

23Parantu nahī̃ , unkō sūkṣhma rīti apnī yōg key|kī śhakti pahuñcāē unkē aśhuddh saṅkalp kō bhasma kar dēnā , yahī sarvōttam sachchī service hai aur sāth-sāth apnē ūpar bhī attention rakhnā hai .

30You have to send them subtle vibrations with your power of yoga and burn away their impure thoughts. 31This is most elevated, true service. 32Together with that, you also have to pay attention to yourselves.

24Na sirph vāchā athavā karmaṇā tak magar mansā mē̃ bhī kōī aśhuddh saṅkalp utpanna hōtā hai tō unkā vibration anya kē pās jāē sūkṣhma rīti akalyāṇ kartā hai , jiskā bōjh khud par ātā hai aur vahī bōjh bandhan ban jātā hai isliē hē bachchō̃ khud sāvdhān rahō phir anya prati vahī divya service karō , yahī āp sēvādhārī bachchō̃ kā alaukik kartavya hai .

33Not just to your words and actions; you mustn’t even have any impure thoughts in your minds, because their vibrations reach many others and subtly cause a loss, which would create a burden for you; this burden then becomes a bondage. 34So, children, be cautious and also do this divine service of others. 35This is the alokik duty of you serviceable children.

25Aisī service karnē vālō̃ kō phir apnē prati kōī bhī service nahī̃ lēnī hai .

36Those who do such service should not take any service from others.

26Bhal kabhī kōī anāyās bhūl hō bhī jāē tō usē apnē buddhiyōg bal sē sadaiv kē liē correct kar dēnā hai .

37Even if you happen to make a mistake, correct that for all time with the power of your intellect’s yoga.

27Aisā tīvr puruṣhārthī thōṛā bhī īśhārā milnē sē śhīghra mahsūs karkē parivartan kar lētā hai aur āgē kē liē achchhī rīti attention rakh chaltā hai , yahī viśhāl buddhi bachchō̃ kā kartavya hai .

38An intense effort-maker instantly realizes, as soon as he receives even a little signal, and transforms himself and pays proper attention as he moves along from then on. 39This is the duty of the children with broad intellects.

28Hē mērē prāṇō̃ , paramātmā dvārā rachē huē is avināśhī rājasva gyān yagya prati tan , man , dhan kō sampūrṇ rīti sē svāhā karnē kā rāz bahut mahīn hai .

40O breath of my life, there is deep significance in completely sacrificing your bodies, minds and wealth into this imperishable sacrificial fire of knowledge of self-sovereignty, created by the Supreme Soul.

29Jis ghaṛī āp kahtē hō ki maĩ tan man dhan sahit yagya mē̃ svāhā arthāt arpaṇ hō mar chukā , us ghaṛī sē lēkar apnā kuchh bhī nahī̃ rahtā .

41From the moment you say that you have sacrificed your body, mind and wealth, that is, you have surrendered everything into the sacrificial fire and died, then, from that moment, nothing remains yours.

30Usmē̃ bhī pahlē tan , man kō sampūrṇ rīti sē service mē̃ lagānā hai .

42In that, too, you first have to use your body and mind fully for doing service.

31Jab sab kuchh yagya athavā paramātmā kē prati hai tō phir apnē prati kuchh rah nahī̃ saktā , dhan bhī vyarth nahī̃ ganvā saktē .

43When everything is for the yagya and God, there can be nothing left for yourself and you cannot even waste any wealth.

32Man bhī aśhuddh saṅkalp vikalp taraph dauṛ nahī̃ saktā kyōṅki paramātmā kō arpaṇ kar diyā .

44Even your mind cannot run after impure and sinful thoughts because you have surrendered it to God.

33Ab paramātmā tō hai hī śhuddha śhānt svarūp .

45God is anyway the Being of purity and peace.

34Is kāraṇ aśhuddh saṅkalp svataḥ śhānt hō jātē haĩ .

46Because of this, impure thoughts are automatically quietened.

35Agar man māyā K|kē hāth mē̃ dē dētē hō tō māyā variety rūp hōnē K|kē kāraṇ anēk prakārō̃ K|kē vikalp utpanna kar man rūpī ghōṛē par āē savārī kartī hai .

47If you put your mind into Maya’s hands, then, because Maya has a variety of forms, many types of sinful thoughts can arise that ride in the mind, the horse.

36Agar kisī bachchē kō abhī tak bhī saṅkalp vikalp ātē haĩ tō samajhnā chāhiē ki abhī man pūrṇ rīti sē svāhā nahī̃ huā hai arthāt īśhvarīy man nahī̃ banā hai isliē hē sarv tyāgī bachchō̃ , in guhya rāzō̃ kō samajh karma kartē sākṣhī hō khud kō dēkh bahut khabardārī sē chalnā hai .

48If any child even now still has sinful thoughts, understand that his mind has not been completely sacrificed, that is, his mind does not completely belong to God. 49Therefore, complete renunciate children, now understand the deep secrets and become detached observers while performing actions and observe yourselves and move along with great caution.

37Svayã gōpī vallabh tum apnē priya gōp gōpiyō̃ kō samjhā rahē haĩ ki tum har ēk kā vāstavik sachchā prēm kaun sā hai  !

50Gopi Vallabh Himself is explaining to you, His beloved gopes and gopis what the real and true love of all of you is.

38Hē prāṇō̃ tumhē̃ ēk dō key|kī prēm bharī sāvadhānī kō svīkār karnā hai kyōṅki jitnā priya fool|phūl utnā hī śhrēṣhṭh parvariśh .

51O my beloved, you have to accept each other’s loving caution because, however lovely a flower is, the sustenance you receive is accordingly as elevated.

39Fool|phūl kō valuable banānē arth|earth mālī kō kāṇṭō̃ sē nikālnā hī paṛtā hai .

52In order to make the flowers valuable, the Gardener has to remove thorns from them.

40Vaisē tumhē̃ bhī jab kōī sāvadhānī dētā hai tō samajhnā chāhiē jaisēki usnē mērī parvariśh key|kī arthāt mērī service key|kī .

53In the same way, when someone cautions you, you have to understand that that one is sustaining you, that is, that one is serving you.

41Us service athavā parvariśh kō regard dēnā hai , yahī sampūrṇ bannē key|kī yukti hai .

54You have to give regard to that sustenance and service. 55This is the way to become perfect.

42Yahī gyān sahit āntarik sachchā prēm hai .

56This is true, internal love filled with knowledge.

43Is divya prēm mē̃ ēk dō kē liē bahut regard hōnā chāhiē .

57Let there be a lot of regard for one another in this divine love.

44Har ēk bāt mē̃ pahlē khud kō hī sāvdhān karnā hai , yahī nirmāṇchit ati madhur avasthā hai .

58In each aspect, you have to caution yourself first. 59This is a very sweet and humble stage.

45Aisē prēm pūrvak chalnē sē tumhē̃ jaisē yahā̃ hī vē|way satyug K|kē suhāvanē din āntarik mahsūs hōṅgē .

60By moving along with love in this way, it is as though you will internally experience those beautiful days of the golden age.

46Vahā̃ tō yah prēm natural rahtā hai parantu is saṅgam K|kē sweetest samay par ēk dō kē liē service karnē kā yah ati mīṭhā ramaṇīk prēm hai , yahī śhuddha prēm jag mē̃ gāyā huā hai .

61There, this love will be natural. 62However, at this sweetest time of the confluence age, this is a very sweet and entertaining love that enables you to serve one another. 63This pure love is remembered in the world.

47Tum har ēk chaitanya phūlō̃ kō hardam harṣhit mukh hō rahnā hai kyōṅki niśhchay buddhi hōnē K|kē kāraṇ tumhārī nas nas mē̃ sampūrṇ īśhvarīy tākat samāī huī hai .

64All of you living flowers have to remain cheerful at every moment because, by having faith in your intellects, your every vein becomes completely filled with God’s power.

48Aisī ākarṣhaṇ śhakti apnā divya chamatkār avaśhya nikāltī hai .

65Power that has such attraction definitely shows its divine miracle.

49Jaisē chhōṭē nirdōṣh bachchē śhuddha pavitra hōnē kāraṇ sadaiv hanstē rahtē haĩ aur apnē ramaṇīk charitra sē sabkō bahut khīñchtē haĩ .

66Just as little, innocent children, because they are pure and clean, always keep smiling and they attract everyone a lot with their entertaining activities.

50Vaisē tum har ēk key|kī aisī īśhvarīy ramaṇīk jīvan hōnī chāhiē , iskē liē tumhē̃ kisī bhī yukti sē apnē āsurī svabhāvō̃ par jīt prāpt karnī hai .

67In the same way, let the life of each one of you be a Godly and entertaining one. 68For this, you have to triumph over your devilish nature by using the right method.

51Jab kōī kō dēkhō ki yah krōdh vikār K|kē vaśh hō mērē sāmnē ātā hai tō unkē sāmnē gyān rūp hō bachpan key|kī mīṭhī rīti sē muskarātē rahō tō vah khud śānticat hō jāyēgā arthāt vismr̥iti svarūp sē smr̥iti mē̃ ā jāyēgā .

69When you see someone who is influenced by the vice of anger coming towards you, become an embodiment of knowledge and continue to smile with the sweetness of a child and that person will automatically become quiet. 70That is, from being in a state of forgetfulness, he will become aware.

52Bhal unkō patā na bhī paṛē lēkin sūkṣhma rīti sē unkē ūpar jīt pākar mālik ban jānā , yahī mālik aur bālakpan key|kī sarvōcca śhirōmaṇi vidhi hai .

71Though he may not be aware of it, attain victory over that one in a subtle way and become the master. 72This is the most elevated way of being a master and a child.

53Īśhvar jaisē sampūrṇ gyān rūp vaisē phir sampūrṇ prēm rūp bhī hai .

73Just as God is the perfect form of knowledge, in the same way, He is also the perfect form of love.

54Īśhvar mē̃ dōnō̃ hī kvāliṭīz samāī huī haĩ parantu first gyān , second prēm .

74Both qualities are merged in God, but first is knowledge and second is love.

55Agar kōī pahlē gyān rūp bannē bigar sirph prēm rūp ban jātā hai tō vah prēm aśhuddh khātē mē̃ lē jātā hai isliē prēm kō merge kar pahlē gyān rūp ban bhinn-bhinn rūpō̃ mē̃ I|āī|eye huī māyā par jīt pākar pīchhē prēm rūp bannā hai .

75If someone becomes an embodiment of love without first becoming an embodiment of knowledge, that love takes that one into an impure account. 76So, merge love and first of all become an embodiment of knowledge. 77Conquer the Maya that comes in various forms, and then become an embodiment of love.

56Agar gyān bigar prēm mē̃ āyē tō kahā̃ vichalit bhī hō jāyēṅgē .

78If you become loving without using knowledge, it is possible that you will get sidetracked.

57Jaisē agar kōī gyān rūp bannē K|kē bigar dhyān mē̃ jātē haĩ tō kaī bār māyā mē̃ phans jātē haĩ , isliē bābā kahtē haĩ bachchē , yah dhyān bhī ēk sūt key|kī jañjīr hai parantu gyān rūp ban pīchhē dhyān mē̃ jānē sē ati mauj kā anubhav hōtā hai .

79For instance, if someone goes into trance (dhyan) without being an embodiment of knowledge (gyan), then they sometimes get trapped in Maya. 80This is why Baba says: O children, this trance is also a cotton chain. 81However, when you first become an embodiment of knowledge and then go into trance, there will be great enjoyment.

58Tō pahlē hai gyān pīchhē hai dhyān .

82So first is knowledge and then trance.

59Dhyāniṣṭa avasthā sē jñāniṣṭa avasthā śhrēṣhṭh hai .

83The stage of being full of knowledge is more elevated than the stage of being in trance.

60Isliē hē bachchō̃ , pahlē gyān rūp ban phir prēm emerge karnā hai .

84This is why, children, you first have to become embodiments of knowledge, and then let the love emerge.

61Gyān bigar sirph prēm is puruṣhārthī jīvan mē̃ vighna ḍāltā hai .

85Love without knowledge in this effort-making life brings obstacles.

62Sākṣhīpan key|kī avasthā ati mīṭhī , ramaṇīk aur sundar hai .

86The stage of a detached observer is very entertaining, sweet and beautiful.

63Is avasthā par hī āgē key|kī jīvan kā sārā madār hai .

87Everything in your future lives depends on this stage.

64Jaisē kōī kē pās kōī śhārīrik bhōgnā ātī hai . 65Us samay agar vah sākṣhī , sukharūp avasthā mē̃ upasthit hō usē bhōgtā hai tō past karmō kō bhōg chuktū bhī kartā hai aur sāth sāth future kē liē sukh kā hisāb bhī banātā hai .

88When someone has any physical illness, if he goes through that illness at that time while happily being in the stage of a detached observer, he then settles the suffering of his past karma and, along with that, also accumulates in happiness in his account for the future.

66Tō yah sākṣhīpan key|kī sukharūp avasthā past aur future dōnō̃ sē connection rakhtī hai .

89This happy stage of a detached observer has a connection with both your past and your future.

67Tō is rāz kō samajhnē sē kōī bhī aisē nahī̃ kahēgā ki mērā yah suhāvanā samay sirph chuktū karnē mē̃ chalā gayā .

90By understanding this secret, none of you would say that this beautiful time has gone by in just settling accounts.

68Nahī̃ , yahī suhāvanā puruṣhārth kā samay hai jis samay dōnō̃ kārya sampūrṇ rīti siddha hōtē haĩ .

91No, this alone is the beautiful time of making effort during which both tasks are accomplished perfectly.

69Aisē dōnō̃ kārya kō siddha karnē vālā tīvr puruṣhārthī hī atīndriya sukh vā ānand K|kē anubhav mē̃ rahtā hai .

92The intense effort-makers who accomplish both tasks experience supersensuous joy and bliss.

70Is variety virāṭ drama key|kī har ēk bāt mē̃ tum bachchō̃ kō sampūrṇ niśhchay hōnā chāhiē kyōṅki yah banā banāyā drama bilkul vaphādār hai .

93You children have to have full faith in every aspect of the huge variety drama, because this predestined drama is absolutely reliable.

71Dēkhō , yah drama har ēk jīv prāṇī sē unkā part pūrṇ rīti sē bajvātā hai .

94Look, this drama enables every living being (human and animal) to play their parts perfectly.

72Bhal kōī wrong hai , tō vah wrong part bhī pūrṇ rīti sē bajātā hai .

95Even though someone may be wrong, he plays that part of being wrong perfectly.

73Yah bhī drama key|kī nūndh hai .

96This is also fixed in the drama.

74Jab wrong aur right dōnō̃ hī plan mē̃ nūndhē huē haĩ tō phir kōī bāt mē̃ sanśhay uṭhānā , yah gyān nahī̃ hai kyōṅki har ēk actor apnā-apnā part bajā rahā hai .

97When both wrong and right are fixed in the plan, then, to have doubts about anything is not knowledge, because each actor is playing his own part.

75Jaisē bioscope mē̃ anēk bhinn-bhinn nām rūpdhārī actors apnī-apnī acting kartē haĩ tō unkō dēkh , kissē naphrat āvē aur kissē harṣhit hōvē , aisā nahī̃ hōtā hai .

98In a film, all the different named actors do their own acting and when you see them, it is not that you would dislike some or be happy with others: it is not like that.

76Patā hai ki yah ēk khēl hai , jismē̃ har ēk kō apnā apnā good vā bed part milā huā hai .

99You know that that is just a play in which each one has received his or her own good or bad part.

77Vaisē hī is anādi banē huē bioscope kō bhī sākṣhī hō ēkras avasthā sē harṣhitmukh hō dēkhtē rahnā hai .

100In the same way, you also have to continue to watch this eternally created film as a detached observer, in a constant and cheerful stage.

78Saṅgaṭhan mē̃ yah point bahut achchhī rīti dhāraṇ karnī hai .

101In any gathering, imbibe all these points very well.

79Ēk dō kō īśhvarīy rūp sē dēkhnā hai , mahsūstā kā gyān uṭhāē sarv īśhvarīy guṇō̃ key|kī dhārṇā karnī hai .

102Look at one another whilst seeing each one’s divine form. 103With the knowledge of experience imbibe all the divine virtues.

80Apnē lakṣhya svarūp key|kī smr̥iti sē śhānt chit , nirmāṇchit , dhairyavat , miṭhāz , śhītaltā ityādi sarv daivī guṇ emerge karnē haĩ .

104With the awareness of your aim, let the divine virtues of being peaceful, humble, patient, sweet and cool, etc. emerge.

81Dhairyavat avasthā dhāraṇ karnē kā mukhya foundation - wait and see .

105The main foundation for imbibing a patient stage is “Wait and see”.

82Hē mērē priya bachchō̃ , wait arthāt dhairya dharnā , see|sī|C arthāt dēkhnā .

106O my lovely children, “Wait”, means have patience and “See” means to see.

83Apnē dil bhītar pahlē dhairyavat guṇ dhāraṇ kar uskē bād phir bāhar mē̃ virāṭ drama kō sākṣhī hō dēkhnā hai .

107First of all, imbibe the virtue of patience in your hearts, and then see the huge drama externally as detached observers.

84Jab tak kōī bhī rāz sunnē kā samay samīp āvē tab tak dhairyavat guṇ key|kī dhārṇā karnī hai .

108Until the time for you to hear any secret comes close, you have to have the virtue of patience.

85Samay ānē par us dhairyatā K|kē guṇ sē rāz sunnē mē̃ kabhī bhī vichalit nahī̃ hōṅgē .

109When the time comes, when you listen to that secret with the virtue of patience, you will not be disturbed when you hear it.

86Isliē hē puruṣhārthī prāṇō̃ , jarā ṭhaharō aur āgē baṛhkar rāz dēkhtē chalō .

110This is why, o effort-making ones, wait a little, and continue to see the secrets as you move along.
