Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - blood connection mē̃ hī duḥkh hai , tumhē̃ uskā tyāg kar āpas mē̃ ātmik lav|love rakhnā hai , yahī sukh aur ānand kā ādhār hai ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, there is sorrow in blood connections. 2You have to renounce them and have spiritual love for each other. 3This is the basis of happiness and bliss.

Question

2Praśhna  : vijay mālā mē̃ ānē kē liē viśhēṣh kaun sā puruṣhārth chāhiē  ?

4Question: What special effort do you need to make in order to become part of the rosary of victory?

Answer

3Uttar  : vijay mālā mē̃ ānā hai tō viśhēṣh hōlī|holy ( pavitra ) bannē kā puruṣhārth karō .

5Answer: In order to become part of the rosary of victory, make special effort to become holy (pure). 6Only when you become real sannyasis, that is, only when you become viceless will you become a bead of the rosary of victory.

4Jab pakkē sannyāsī arthāt nirvikārī banē̃gē tab vijay mālā kā dānā banē̃gē . 5Kōī bhī karmbandhan kā hisāb-kitāb hai , tō vāris nahī̃ ban saktē , prajā mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .

7If there are accounts of the bondage of karma, you cannot become an heir; instead you will become part of the subjects.

Song

6Gīt  : mahaphil mē̃ jal uṭhī śhamā parvānō̃ kē liē …

8Song: The Flame has ignited in the happy gathering of moths.

Murli

7Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

8Dēkhō ham mahimā hī kartē haĩ apnē bāp key|kī .

10Look, we are praising our Father.

9Aham ātmā jarūr apnē father kā show karē̃gē nā .

11I, the soul, will definitely show (reveal) my Father.

10Son shows father .

12Son shows Father.

11Tō aham ātmā , tum bhī kahē̃gē ham ātmāyē̃ , ham sabkā father ēk paramātmā hai jō sabkā pitā hai .

13I am a soul, and you would say: We are souls and our Father is the one Supreme Soul who is the Father of all.

12Yah tō sab mānē̃gē . 13Aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki ham ātmāō̃ kā father kōī alag-alag hai .

14Everyone would accept this; they would not say that the Fathers of us souls are different.

14Father sabkā ēk hai .

15The Father of all is One.

15Ab ham unkē bachchē hōnē kāraṇ unkē occupation kō jāntē haĩ .

16Now that we are His children, we know His occupation.

16Ham aisē nahī̃ kah saktē ki paramātmā sarvavyāpī hai .

17We cannot say God is omnipresent.

17Phir tō sabmē̃ paramātmā hō jāē .

18In that case, God would be in everyone.

18Father kō yād kar bachchē khuśh hōtē haĩ kyōṅki jō kuchh father kē pās hōtā hai unkā varsā bachchē kō miltā hai .

19Children become happy when they remember their father because whatever the father has, his children receive it as an inheritance.

19Ab ham haĩ paramātmā K|kē vāris , unkē pās|pass kyā hai  ?

20We are now the heirs of God; so what does He have?

20Vah ānand kā sāgar hai , gyān kā sāgar hai , prēm kā sāgar hai .

21He is the Ocean of Bliss, the Ocean of Knowledge, the Ocean of Love.

21Hamkō mālūm hai tab ham unkī mahimā kartē haĩ .

22It is because we know this that we sing His praise.

22Dūsrē yah nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

23Other people would not say this.

23Karkē kōī kahtē bhī haĩ lēkin vah kaisē hai , yah tō patā hī nahī̃ .

24Perhaps they would say it, but they don’t know how He is that.

24Bākī tō sab kah dētē paramātmā sarvavyāpī hai .

25All others would say that God is omnipresent.

25Lēkin ham unkē bachchē haĩ tō apnē nirākār immortal bāp key|kī mahimā varṇan kartē haĩ ki vah ānand kā sāgar , gyān kā sāgar , prēm kā bhaṇḍār hai .

26However, we are His children and so we sing praise of our incorporeal and immortal Father: that He is the Ocean of Bliss, the Ocean of Knowledge and the Treasure Store of Love.

26Lēkin kōī praśhna uṭhāyēgā ki āp kahtē hō ki vahā̃ incorporeal world mē̃ tō duḥkh sukh sē nyārī avasthā rahtī hai .

27However, someone may raise a question: You say that your stage in the incorporeal world is beyond happiness and sorrow.

27Vahā̃ sukh athavā ānand athavā prēm kahā̃ sē āyā  ?

28Where would happiness, that is, bliss, and love come from there?

28Ab yah samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

29These are matters that have to be understood.

29Yah jō ānand , sukh athavā prēm kahtē haĩ , yah tō huī sukh key|kī avasthā lēkin vahā̃ śhānti dēśh mē̃ ānand , prēm athavā gyān kahā̃ sē āyā  ?

30When you speak of bliss, happiness and love, it is a stage of happiness, but how can there be bliss, love and knowledge in the world of peace?

30Vah sukh kā sāgar jab is sākār sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ ātē haĩ tab ākar sukh dētē haĩ .

31When that Ocean of Happiness comes into this corporeal world, He comes and gives us happiness.

31Vahā̃ tō duḥkh sukh sē nyārī avasthā mē̃ rahtē haĩ kyōṅki tumkō samjhāyā hai ki ēk hai duḥkh sukh sē nyārī duniyā , jiskō incorporeal world kahtē haĩ .

32There, you remain in a stage that is beyond happiness and sorrow because as it has been explained to you, it is the world beyond happiness and sorrow, which is called the incorporeal world.

32Dūsrī phir hai sukh key|kī duniyā , jahā̃ sadā sukh , ānand rahtā hai , jiskō svarg kahtē haĩ aur yah hai duḥkh key|kī duniyā jiskō nark athavā iron aged world kahtē haĩ .

33Then, the other world is the world of happiness where there is constant happiness and bliss which is called heaven. 34This is the world of sorrow which is called hell, that is, the iron-aged world.

33Ab is iron aged world kō parampitā paramātmā jō sukh kā sāgar hai , vah ākar isē badlākar ānand , sukh kā , prēm kā bhaṇḍār banātē haĩ . 34Jahā̃ sukh hī sukh hai . 35Prēm hī prēm hai .

35Now, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who is the Ocean of Happiness, comes and changes this iron-aged world and makes it into a treasure store of bliss, happiness and love, where there is nothing but happiness and more happiness, love and more love.

36Vahā̃ jānvarō̃ mē̃ bhī bahut prēm rahtā hai .

36There, even the animals have a lot of love.

37Śhēr gāy bhī ikaṭṭhē jal pītē haĩ , itnā unhō̃ mē̃ prēm rahtā hai .

37Cows and lions drink water from the same river together. 38They have so much love for one another.

38Tō paramātmā ākar jō apnī rājdhānī sthāpan kartē haĩ , usmē̃ sukh aur ānand hai .

39So the kingdom that God comes and establishes has happiness and bliss.

39Bākī incorporeal duniyā mē̃ tō sukh ānand key|kī bāt hī nahī̃ , prēm key|kī bāt hī nahī̃ hai .

40However, in the incorporeal world, there is no question of happiness, bliss or love.

40Vah tō hai incorporeal ātmāō̃ kā nivās sthān .

41It is the residence of incorporeal souls.

41Vah hai sabkī retired life athavā nirvāṇ avasthā . 42Jahā̃ duḥkh sukh key|kī kōī feeling nahī̃ rahtī .

42It is the retired life, that is, the stage of nirvana for everyone where there is no feeling of happiness or sorrow.

43Vah duḥkh sukh kā part tō is corporeal world mē̃ chaltā hai .

43The parts of happiness and sorrow are performed in this corporeal world.

44Is hī sr̥iṣhṭi par jab svarg hai tō eternal ātmik lav|love rahtā hai kyōṅki duḥkh hai blood connection mē̃ .

44When it is heaven in this world, there is eternal spiritual love. 45However, there is sorrow in blood connections.

45Sannyāsiyō̃ mē̃ bhī blood connection nahī̃ rahtā isliē unmē̃ bhī duḥkh key|kī kōī bāt nahī̃ rahtī hai .

46Sannyasis too do not have any blood connections. 47This is why they don’t have any feeling of sorrow about anything.

46Vah tō kahtē maĩ sat chit ānand svarūp hū̃ kyōṅki blood connection kō tyāg dētē haĩ .

48They say: I am truth, a sentient being and an embodiment of bliss because they have renounced their blood connections.

47Vaisē yahā̃ bhī tumhārā kōī blood connection nahī̃ hai .

49In the same way, here, too, you do not have any blood connections.

48Yahā̃ ham sabkā ātmik lav|love hai , jō paramātmā sikhlātē haĩ .

50Here, we all have spiritual love which God teaches us.

49Bāp kahtē haĩ you are my beloved sons .

51The Father says: You are My beloved sons.

50Hamārā ānand , prēm , sukh tumhārā hai kyōṅki tumnē vah duniyā chhōṛkar hamārī ākar gōd lī hai .

52My bliss, happiness and love are yours because you have renounced that world and come into My lap (adopted).

51Yah bhī tum practical life mē̃ ākar gōd mē̃ baiṭhē hō .

53You have come and sat in My lap in your practical lives.

52Aisē nahī̃ jaisē vah gurū kī gōd lē chalē jātē haĩ ghar mē̃ .

54It is not like those people who are adopted by their guru but go back to their own homes.

53Unkō beloved sons nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

55They are not called beloved sons.

54Unkī bhī vah jaisē prajā hai .

56Those people are like the guru’s subjects.

55Bākī jō sannyās kar unkī gōd lētē haĩ vahī beloved son|san bantē haĩ kyōṅki vahī gurū kē pīchhē gaddī par baiṭhtē haĩ .

57However, those who have renunciation and are adopted by them are called beloved sons because they are the ones who sit on the gaddi after the guru departs.

56Bachchē aur prajā mē̃ rāt din kā fark rahtā hai .

58There is the difference of day and night between children and subjects.

57Vah vāris ban varsā lētē haĩ . 58Jaisē tumnē unsē blood connection tōṛ is nirākār vā sākār key|kī gōd lī hai tō vāris ban gayē hō .

59Children become heirs and claim an inheritance; in the same way you have broken your blood connections and come into the lap of the incorporeal One and the corporeal one and so you have become heirs.

59Ismē̃ bhī phir jitnā gyān lē̃gē vah hai bliss .

60In this too, the more knowledge you take, the more bliss you experience.

60Education kō bliss kahā jātā hai .

61Education is said to be bliss.

61Tō jitnā vah uṭhāyēṅgē , utnā us rājdhānī mē̃ prajā mē̃ sukh lē̃gē .

62So, the more you take up this education, the more happiness you will receive in that kingdom as subjects.

62Yah godly education bliss hai nā , jissē supreme peace|pīs and happiness miltī hai .

63This Godly education is bliss through which you receive supreme peace and happiness.

63Yah aṭal akhaṇḍ sukh śhāntimay svarājya hai god key|kī property , jō bachchō̃ kō miltī hai .

64This unshakeable and constant self-sovereignty of happiness and peace is God’s property which you children receive.

64Phir jitnā-jitnā jō gyān uṭhāyēṅgē , utnā bāp kā varsā mil jāyēgā .

65Then, to the extent that you take up this knowledge, you will accordingly receive the Father’s inheritance.

65Jaisē tumhārē pās|pass itnē jijñāsū ātē haĩ vah hai , tumhārī beloved prajā .

66For instance, all of those seekers come to you; they are your beloved subjects.

66Bachchē nahī̃ kyōṅki ātē jātē rahtē haĩ , bachchē bhī hō saktē haĩ kyōṅki prajā sē kōī vāris bhī tō ban jātē haĩ .

67They are not children because they continue to come and go. 68They can become children, because some change from subjects into heirs.

67Jab gyān lētē lētē dēkhtē haĩ yahā̃ tō athāh sukh aur śhānti hai , us duniyā mē̃ tō duḥkh hai tō ākar gōd lē lētē haĩ .

69When they take up this knowledge and see that there is unlimited happiness and peace here and there is sorrow in that world, they come into God’s lap.

68Phauran tō kōī bachchā nahī̃ ban jātā .

70No one becomes a child instantly.

69Tum bhī pahlē ātē jātē thē phir suntē-suntē baiṭh gayē , tō vāris ban gayē .

71Previously, you too used to come and go, and then, after listening to this, you stayed here and so you became heirs.

70Sannyāsiyō̃ kē pās bhī aisē hōtā hai .

72It is the same with sannyasis.

71Suntē-suntē jab samajhtē haĩ sannyās mē̃ tō śhānti sukh hai tō sannyās kar lētē haĩ .

73While listening, when they understand that there is peace and happiness in renunciation, they renounce everything.

72Yahā̃ bhī jab taste ā jātī hai tō beloved son|san ban jātē haĩ tō janm janmāntar kē liē varsā mil jātā hai .

74Here, too, when they have tasted this, they become beloved sons, and so they receive the inheritance for birth after birth.

73Vah phir daivī sijarē mē̃ ātē rahtē haĩ .

75Then they continue to come in the deity genealogical tree.

74Prajā tō sāth nahī̃ rahtī vah kahā̃-kahā̃ karmbandhan mē̃ chalē jātē .

76The subjects do not remain with you; they go away somewhere due to their karmic bondages.

75Jaisē gīt mē̃ kahtē haĩ mahaphil mē̃ jal uṭhī śhamā parvānō̃ kē liē .

77The song says: The Flame has ignited in the happy gathering of moths.

76Tō parvānē bhī śhamā par dance kartē kartē mar jātē haĩ .

78So, moths also dance on a flame and die.

77Kōī chakkar lagāē chalē jātē haĩ .

79Some simply circle around and go away.

78Yah tan bhī ēk śhamā hai jismē̃ almighty bābā kā pravēśh hai .

80This body in which the Almighty Baba has entered is like a flame.

79Tum parvānē ban āyē , ātē jātē ākhir jab rāz samajh liyā tō baiṭh gayē .

81You came here as moths and, when you understood the secrets, you stayed here.

80Ātē tō hajārō̃ lākhō̃ haĩ , tumhārē dvārā bhī suntē rahtē haĩ .

82Thousands and hundreds of thousands come here and they continue to listen to you.

81Vah tō jitnā sunē̃gē utnā peace|pīs aur bliss kā vardān lētē jāyēṅgē kyōṅki yah immortal father key|kī śhikṣhā tō vināśh nahī̃ hōtī .

83The more they hear, the more they will continue to receive blessings of bliss and peace because these teachings of the Immortal Father cannot be destroyed.

82Iskō kahtē haĩ avināśhī gyān dhan . 83Uskā vināśh nahī̃ hōtā .

84This is called the imperishable wealth of knowledge; it can never be destroyed.

84Tō jō thōṛā bahut bhī suntē haĩ vah prajā mē̃ āyēṅgē jarūr .

85So, those who hear even a little will definitely become part of the subjects.

85Vahā̃ tō prajā bhī bahut-bahut sukhī hai .

86There, even the subjects are very, very happy.

86Eternal bliss hai kyōṅki vahā̃ sab soul conscious rahtē haĩ .

87There is internal bliss there because everyone remains soul conscious.

87Yahā̃ body conscious hō gayē haĩ isliē duḥkhī haĩ .

88Here, we have become body conscious and this is why we are unhappy.

88Vahā̃ tō hai hī svarg , vahā̃ duḥkh kā nām niśhān nahī̃ .

89It is heaven; there is no name or trace of sorrow there.

89Jānvar hī kitnā sukh śhānti mē̃ rahtē haĩ tō prajā mē̃ kitnā prēm aur sukh hōgā .

90Even the animals live with so much peace and happiness, and so how much peace and love would there be among the subjects?

90Yah tō jarūr hai sab tō vāris nahī̃ bantē .

91It is definite that not everyone becomes an heir.

91Yahā̃ tō 108 pakkē sannyāsī vijay mālā K|kē dānē bannē vālē haĩ .

92Here, 108 firm renunciates will become the beads of the rosary of victory.

92Vah bhī abhī banē nahī̃ haĩ , ban rahē haĩ .

93They have not yet become that; they are still becoming so.

93Sāth-sāth prajā bhī ban rahī hai .

94The subjects are also being created at the same time.

94Vah bhī bāhar rahkar suntē rahtē haĩ .

95They live outside (of a centre) and also continue to listen to this.

95Ghar baiṭhē yōg lagā rahē haĩ .

96They have yoga while sitting at home.

96Yōg lagātē-lagātē kōī phir andar ā jātē tō prajā sē vāris ban jātē .

97While having yoga, they become part of the members here and thereby change from subjects into heirs.

97Vah jab tak karmbandhan kā hisāb hai kuchh tab tak bāhar rah yōg lagātē , nirvikārī rahtē ātē haĩ .

98While they still have some accounts of the bondage of karma, they continue to live outside and have yoga and continue to remain viceless.

98Tō ghar mē̃ rah jō nirvikārī rahtē tō ghar mē̃ jhagaṛā|jhagṛā jarūr hōgā kyōṅki kāmēś krōdhēśhu . . . kām mahāśhutra par jab tum jīt pātē hō , viṣh dēnā band kartē hō tō jhagaṛā|jhagṛā hōtā hai .

99So, while living at home, if they practise remaining viceless, there would definitely be a quarrel because there are those who become lustful and angry…. 100When you conquer lust, your greatest enemy and stop giving poison, there is a quarrel.

99Bāp kahtē haĩ bachchē , maut sāmnē khaṛā hai . 100Sārī duniyā vināśh hōnī hai .

101God says: Children, death is just ahead of you; the whole world is to be destroyed.

101Jaisē buṛhō̃ kō kahtē maut sāmnē hai , paramātmā kō yād karō .

102People say to old people: Death is just ahead, so remember God.

102Bāp bhī kahtē bachchē nirvikārī ban jāō .

103The Father sits here and says: Children, become viceless!

103Paramātmā kō yād karō .

104Remember God!

104Jaisē tīrtha par jātē haĩ tō kām krōdh sab band kar dētē haĩ .

105Similarly, when you go on a pilgrimage, you stop indulging in vice and getting angry.

105Rāstē mē̃ kām chēṣhṭhā thōṛēhī karē̃gē .

106You would not indulge in vice on the way.

106Vah tō sārā rāstā amarnāth key|kī jay , jay kartē jātē lēkin lauṭ ātē tō phir vahī vikārō̃ mē̃ gōtā khātē rahtē , tumkō tō lauṭnā nahī̃ hai .

107All along the way, they continue to sing, “Victory to the Lord of Immortality”, but when they return they begin to drown in those same vices again. 108You are not going to return.

107Kām , krōdh mē̃ ānā nahī̃ hai .

109You are not going to become lustful or angry.

108Vikārō̃ mē̃ jāyēṅgē tō pad bhraṣhṭa hō jāyēṅgē .

110If you indulge in vices, your status would be destroyed.

109Holiness nahī̃ banē̃gē .

111You wouldn’t become “His Holiness”.

110Jō hōlī|holy banē̃gē vah vijay mālā mē̃ āyēṅgē .

112Those who become holy will become part of the rosary of victory.

111Jō fail hōṅgē vah chandravanśhī gharānē mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .

113Those who fail will become part of the moon dynasty.

112Yah tum sabkō parampitā paramātmā baiṭh paṛhātē haĩ .

114The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, sits here and teaches all of you.

113Vahī gyān kā sāgar hai nā .

115He alone is the Ocean of Knowledge.

114Vahā̃ incorporeal duniyā mē̃ tō ātmāō̃ kō baiṭh gyān nahī̃ sunāyēṅgē .

116He will not sit there in the incorporeal world and give knowledge to souls.

115Yahā̃ ākar tumhē̃ gyān sunātē haĩ .

117He comes here and speaks knowledge to you.

116Kahtē haĩ tum hamārē bachchē hō .

118He says: You are My children.

117Jaisē ham pure haĩ vaisē tum bhī pure banō .

119Just as I am pure, so you too must become pure.

118Tō tum satyug mē̃ sukhmay , prēmmay rājya karē̃gē , jiskō vaikuṇṭha kahtē haĩ .

120You will then rule the golden-aged world of love and happiness, which is called Paradise.

119Ab yah duniyā badal rahī hai kyōṅki iron age sē golden age ban rahī hai .

121This world is now changing because it is becoming golden aged from iron aged.

120Phir golden age sē silver age mē̃ badalē̃gē .

122Then it will change from the golden age into the silver age.

121Silver age sē copper age , phir copper age sē iron age mē̃ badaltē jāyēṅgē .

123From the silver age it will change into the copper age and then, from the copper age into the iron age.

122Aisē duniyā badaltī rahtī hai .

124The world continues to change in this way.

123Tō ab yah duniyā badal rahī hai .

125So, this world is now changing.

124Kaun badalā rahā hai|badlā rahā hai  ?

126Who is changing it?

125God himself , jinkē tum beloved bachchē banē hō .

127God Himself and you have become His beloved children.

126Prajā bhī ban rahī hai lēkin bachchē , bachchē haĩ , prajā prajā hai .

128The subjects are also being created, but children are children and subjects are subjects.

127Jō sannyās kartē vah vāris ban jātē .

129Those who have renunciation become heirs.

128Unkō royal gharānē mē̃ avaśhya lē jānā hai .

130They will definitely become part of the royal family.

129Lēkin agar gyān itnā nahī̃ uṭhāyā hai tō pad nahī̃ pāyēṅgē .

131However, if you haven’t taken that much knowledge, you will not receive a status.

130Jō paṛhēgā vah navāb banēgā .

132Those who study well will become lords.

131Jō ātē jātē haĩ vah phir prajā mē̃ āyēṅgē .

133Those who simply continue to come and go will become part of the subjects.

132Phir jitnā hōlī|holy banē̃gē utnā sukh milēgā .

134Then, to the extent that you become holy, so you will receive happiness.

133Beloved tō vah bhī bantē lēkin full beloved tab bantē haĩ jab bachchā bantē haĩ .

135They too become beloved, but they become that fully when they become children.

134Samjhā .

136Do you understand?

135Sannyāsī bhī bahut prakār K|kē hōtē haĩ .

137There are many types of renunciate.

136Ēk hōtē haĩ jō gharbār chhōṛ jātē haĩ , dūsrē phir aisē bhī hōtē hai jō gr̥ihastha mē̃ rahtē vikār mē nahī̃ jātē haĩ .

138One type are of those who renounce their homes and families, and other is of those who live at home but do not indulge in vice.

137Vah followers kō baiṭh śhāstra ādi sunātē haĩ .

139They sit and relate the scriptures etc. to their followers.

138Ātmā kā gyān dētē haĩ , unkē bhī śhiṣhya hōtē haĩ .

140They give knowledge of the soul.

139Lēkin unkē śhiṣhya unkē beloved son|san nahī̃ ban saktē kyōṅki vah tō gharbār , bachchē vālā hōtā hai .

141They too have disciples, but their disciples cannot become their beloved sons because they have a household and children.

140Tō vah apnē pās|pass tō biṭhā nahī̃ saktē .

142So they cannot make any of them stay with them.

141Na khud sannyās kiyā huā hai , na aurō̃ kō sannyās karā saktā hai .

144Vah sirph unkō gyān dētē rahtē athavā mantra dē dētē haĩ . 145Bas .

145He simply continues to give them knowledge or he gives them a mantra; that’s all.

146Ab unkē vāris tō banē nahī̃ tō unkī vr̥iddhi kaisē hōgī .

146They don’t become his heirs, so how could there be growth among them?

147Bas gyān dētē dētē śharīr chhōṛ chalē jātē .

147They simply give knowledge, shed their bodies and depart.

156Jō jītē̃gē vah sūryavanśhī gharānē mē̃ āyēṅgē .

155Those who conquer them will become part of the sun-dynasty clan.

156Among them, too, they are definitely numberwise.

158Śharīr bhī avasthā anusār miltā hai .
