Essence
1 « mīṭhē bachchē - service K|kē sāth-sāth yād kī yātrā kō bhī kāyam rakhnā hai , is rūhānī yātrā mē̃ kabhī ṭhaṇḍē nahī̃ hōnā ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, together with doing service, constantly stay on the pilgrimage of remembrance. 2Never become slack on this spiritual pilgrimage.
Question
2Praśhna : bachchō̃ key|kī dil agar rūhānī service mē̃ nahī̃ lagtī tō uskā kāraṇ kyā hai ?
3Question: What is the reason why some children are not interested in doing spiritual service?
Answer
3Uttar : agar rūhānī service mē̃ dil na lagē tō jarūr dēh-abhimān key|kī grahachārī hai .
4Answer: If you are not interested in doing spiritual service, there are definitely bad omens of body consciousness. 5While moving along, it is because of body consciousness that you sulk with one another and stop doing service.
4Chaltē-chaltē dēh abhimān K|kē kāraṇ jab āpas mē̃ rūṭh paṛtē haĩ tō service hī chhōṛ dētē haĩ .
6As soon as you see each others’ faces, all thoughts of doing service fly away.
5Ēk dō key|kī śhakla dēkhtē hī service K|kē khyāl uṛ jātē haĩ isliē bābā kahtē is grahachārī sē sambhāl karō .
7This is why Baba says: Be cautious of these bad omens.
Song
6Gīt : hamārē tīrtha nyārē haĩ …
8Song: Our pilgrimage is unique.
Murli
7Ōm śhānti .
9Om shanti.
8Is gīt key|kī line nē bachchō̃ kō khabardār kar diyā .
10You children were cautioned by this line in the song.
9Kyā kahā ?
11What were you told?
10Buddhi mē̃ yah yād rakhnā hai ki ham tīrtha yātrā par haĩ aur hamārī yah yātrā sabsē nyārī hai .
12Keep it in your intellects that you are on a pilgrimage and that this pilgrimage is unique.
11Is yātrā kō bhūlō mat .
13Don’t forget this pilgrimage.
12Yātrā par hī sārā madār hai aur tō jismānī yātrāō̃ par jākar phir lauṭ ātē haĩ aur janma-janmāntar yātrā kartē hī ātē haĩ .
14Everything depends on this pilgrimage. 15All other people go on physical pilgrimages and then come back again. 16They continue to go on pilgrimages for birth after birth.
13Hamārē tīrtha vah nahī̃ haĩ . 14Amarnāth mē̃ jākar phir mr̥ityulōk mē̃ chalē ānā .
17Our pilgrimage is not like when they go to Amarnath (Lord of Immortality) and then return to the land of death.
15Tumhārī vah yātrā nahī̃ hai aur sab manuṣhyō̃ key|kī vah yātrāyē̃ haĩ .
18Your pilgrimage is not like that, but the pilgrimages of all other human beings are like that.
16Tīrtha par jākar , chakra lagākar phir āē patit ban jātē haĩ .
19People go on pilgrimages, tour around there and then come back and become impure.
17Kisam-kisam key|kī yātrāyē̃ haĩ nā .
20There are various pilgrimages.
18Dēvī K|kē mandir bhī athāh haĩ .
21There are also many temples to the goddesses.
19Vikāriyō̃ kē sāth kitnē yātrā par jātē haĩ .
22People go on pilgrimages with those who indulge in vice.
20Tum bachchō̃ nē tō praṇ kiyā huā hai - nirvikārī rahnē kā .
23You children have promised to remain viceless.
21Tum nirvikāriyō̃ key|kī yah yātrā hai .
24This pilgrimage is of all of you who remain viceless.
22Nirvikārī bāp jō ever-pure hai , unkō yād karnā hai .
25Remember the viceless Father who is ever pure.
23Pānī K|kē sāgar kō vikārī vā nirvikārī nahī̃ kahē̃gē . 24Aur na unsē nikalī huī gaṅgāyē̃ hī nirvikārī banāyēṅgī .
26An ocean of water cannot be vicious or viceless, nor does the Ganges that emerges from the ocean make anyone viceless.
25Manuṣhya mātra itnē tō patit ban paṛē haĩ , kuchh bhī samajhtē hī nahī̃ .
27Human beings have become so impure that they don’t understand anything.
26Vah jismānī yātrāyē̃ haĩ - alpkāl kṣhaṇbhaṅgur key|kī yātrāyē̃ .
28Those physical pilgrimages are temporary pilgrimages which only last a short time.
27Yah yātrā baṛī hai .
29This is a long pilgrimage.
28Tum bachchō̃ kō uṭhtē baiṭhtē yātrā kā khyāl rakhnā hai .
30You children have to think about this pilgrimage while sitting and moving around.
29Yātrā par jātē haĩ tō dhandhādhōrī gr̥ihastha vyavahār ādi sab bhūlnā hōtā hai .
31When people go on a pilgrimage they have to forget about all their business and household interaction with everyone.
30Amarnāth key|kī jay . . . bas aisē kahtē jātē haĩ .
32They simply continue to sing along the way, “Victory to the Lord of Immortality.”
31Mās dō mās tīrtha yātrā kar phir ākar gand mē̃ paṛtē haĩ .
33They go on pilgrimage for one or two months and then return and engage themselves in dirty activities.
32Phir jātē haĩ gaṅgā snān karnē .
34Then they go and bathe in the Ganges.
33Unkō yah patā hī nahī̃ hai ki ham rōz patit hōtē haĩ .
35They don’t realise that they become impure every day.
34Gaṅgā jamunā par rahnē vālē bhī rōz patit hōtē haĩ .
36Even those who live on the banks of the Rivers Ganges and Jamuna become impure every day.
35Rōz gaṅgā par jākar snān kartē haĩ .
37They go and bathe in the Ganges every day.
36Ēk tō niyam hōtā hai , dūsrē phir baṛē dinō̃ par jātē haĩ samajhtē haĩ ki gaṅgā patit-pāvnī hai .
38One reason is that it is their daily discipline and the second reason they go to bathe there on an important day is because they consider the Ganges to be the Purifier.
37Aisē tō nahī̃ khās us ēk din par gaṅgā pāvan banānē vālī bantī hai , phir nahī̃ rahtī .
39It isn’t that the Ganges is the Purifier for just that one particular day and not on other days.
38Jis din mēlā lagtā hai us din vah patit-pāvnī ban jātī hai .
40It isn’t that the Ganges becomes the Purifier when the mela takes place; no.
39Nahī̃ . 40Vah tō hai hī hai .
41It is the same all the time.
41Rōz bhī jātē haĩ snān karnē .
42People still go to bathe there every day.
42Mēlē par bhī khās din jātē haĩ . 43Arth|earth nahī̃ .
43They still go to bathe there on special days during the melas, but there is no meaning in that.
44Gaṅgā jamunā chīz tō vahī hai .
44Whether it is the Ganges or the Jamuna, it is the same thing.
45Usmē̃ murdē bhī ḍāl dētē haĩ .
45They even put corpses into the river.
46Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō rūhānī yātrā par rahnā hai .
46You children now have to remain on the spiritual pilgrimage.
47Bas ab ham jātē haĩ ghar .
47We are now going home.
48Ismē̃ gaṅgā snān karnē vā śhāstra paṛhnē key|kī kōī bāt hī nahī̃ .
48For this, there is no need to bathe in the Ganges or study the scriptures.
49Bāp ātē bhī ēk hī bār haĩ .
49The Father only comes once.
50Sārī duniyā bhī patit sē pāvan ēk hī bār bantī hai .
50Only once does the whole world become pure from impure.
51Yah bhī jāntē haĩ satyug hai naī duniyā , kaliyug hai purānī duniyā .
51You also know that the golden age is the new world and that the iron age is the old world.
52Bāp kō ānā hai jarūr . 53Naī duniyā kī sthāpanā aur purānī duniyā kā vināśh karnē .
52The Father definitely has to come to establish the new world and destroy the old world.
54Yah unkā hī kām hai .
53This is His work.
55Parantu māyā nē aisā tamōpradhān buddhi banā diyā hai jō kuchh bhī samajhtē nahī̃ .
54However, Maya has made your intellects so tamopradhan that you don’t understand anything.
56Pradarśhanī mē̃ kitnē ṛhēr baṛē ādmī ātē haĩ .
55So many important people come to the exhibitions.
57Sannyāsī bhī āyēṅgē phir bhī samajhē̃gē kōṭō̃ mē̃ kōī .
56Sannyasis will also come, but only a handful out of multimillions will understand.
58Tum lākhō̃ karōṛō̃ kō samjhātē hō tab kōī virlā ātā hai .
57Only when you explain to hundreds of thousands and millions will some rare souls emerge.
59Bahutō̃ kō samjhānā hōgā .
58You will have to explain to many.
60Ākhrīn tumhārī yah samjhānī aur chitra ādi sab akhbārō̃ mē̃ bhī paṛē̃gē .
59Eventually, all your explanations and pictures will be printed in the newspapers.
61Sīṛhī bhī akhbār mē̃ paṛēgī .
60The picture of the ladder too will be printed in the newspapers.
62Kahē̃gē yah tō bhārat kē liē hī hai aur dharm vālē kahā̃ jāyēṅgē .
61They say: This only applies to Bharat, but what happens to those of all the other religions?
63Kayāmat kā samay bhī gāyā huā hai .
62“The time of settlement” is also remembered.
64Kayāmat arthāt vāpis jānē kā .
63“The time of settlement” means the time to return home.
65Purānī duniyā kā vināśh naī duniyā kī sthāpanā hōgī tō jarūr sab vāpis jāyēṅgē nā .
64The old world will be destroyed and the new world will be established and so everyone will definitely return home.
66Sabkā vināśh hōnā hai .
65Everyone has to be destroyed.
67Naī duniyā sthāpan hō rahī hai .
66The new world is being established.
68Yah bātē̃ kōī nahī̃ jāntē sivāē tum bachchō̃ K|kē .
67No one, apart from you children, knows these things.
69Tum jāntē hō narkavāsiyō̃ kā vināśh , svargvāsiyō̃ key|kī sthāpanā hō rahī hai .
68You know that the destruction of the residents of hell and the establishment of the residents of heaven is taking place.
70Kalp-kalp aisā hī hōtā hai .
69It will happen like this every cycle.
71Abhī jō thōṛā bahut time hai , ismē̃ bhī bahutō̃ kō samjhānī miltī jāyēgī . 72Mēlē hōtē rahē̃gē .
70Many will continue to receive explanations in the short time that remains and fairs will continue to take place.
73Sab taraph sē likhtē rahtē haĩ ham mēlā karē̃ , pradarśhanī karē̃ .
71People everywhere write to ask Baba: Should we hold fairs and exhibitions?
74Parantu sāth-sāth apnī yād kī yātrā bhī bhūlnī nahī̃ chāhiē .
72However, as well as those, you mustn’t forget your pilgrimage of remembrance.
75Bachchē bilkul hī ṭhaṇḍē chal rahē haĩ .
73Some children are moving along in a very slack manner.
76Yātrā aisē kartē haĩ jaisē būṛhē .
74They are like old people on the pilgrimage.
77Jaisē tākat hī nahī̃ , kuchh khāyā hī nahī̃ hai .
75It is as though they don’t have any strength, as though they haven’t even eaten anything.
78Bābā kā kitnā khyāl chaltā rahtā hai .
76Baba has so much concern.
79Khyālāt kartē-kartē nīnd hī fit jātī hai .
77While thinking about all of this, he even loses sleep over it.
80Vichār sāgar manthan tō sabkō karnā chāhiē nā .
78Everyone has to churn the ocean of knowledge.
81Bachchē jāntē haĩ hamkō bēhad kā bāp paṛhātē haĩ .
79You children know that the unlimited Father is teaching us.
82Tō bachchō̃ kō kitnā apār khuśhī hōnī chāhiē .
80Therefore, you children should have limitless happiness.
83Is paṛhāī sē ham viśhva K|kē mālik bantē haĩ .
81We become the masters of the world through this study.
84Kōī-kōī key|kī tō chalan aisī hai - jaisē kēkaṛē haĩ .
82The behaviour of some is like crabs.
85Kēkaṛō̃ kō bāp dēvtā banātē haĩ .
83The Father is making crabs into deities.
86Phir bhī chalan muśhkil kiskī sudhartī hai .
84In spite of that, hardly anyone reforms his behaviour.
87Is sīṛhī K|kē chitra mē̃ baṛī achchhī knowledge hai . 88Parantu bachchē itnā kām nahī̃ kartē . 89Yātrā hī nahī̃ kartē .
85Very good knowledge is given in the picture of the ladder, but some children don’t do that much work; they don’t even go on the pilgrimage.
90Bāp kō yād karē̃ tō buddhi kā tālā bhī khultā jāē . 91Golden buddhi bantī jāē .
86Remember the Father so that the locks on your intellects continue to open and your intellects become golden.
92Tum bachchō̃ key|kī pārasbuddhi hōnī chāhiē , bahutō̃ kā kalyāṇ karnā chāhiē .
87You children should have divine intellects and you should benefit many.
93Tum satōpradhān sē ab tamōpradhān banē hō , phir satōpradhān bannā hai .
88From being satopradhan, you have now become tamopradhan and you once again have to become satopradhan.
94Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō .
89The Father says: Remember Me.
95Kr̥iṣhṇa kō bhagvān nahī̃ kahā jā saktā .
90Krishna cannot be called God.
96Unkō tō kahtē haĩ sā̃varā-śyām .
91He is called the ugly one.
97Bāp nē sānvarē key|kī ātmā kō baiṭh phir samjhāyā hai .
92The Father sits here and explains to the soul of the ugly, impure one.
98Yah ātmā jāntī hai ki bābā hamkō viśhva kā mālik banātē haĩ tō khuśhī mē̃ kitnā dimāg pur ( bharpūr ) hōnā chāhiē .
93The soul knows that Baba is making us into the masters of the world and so your intellects should be full of happiness.
99Ismē̃ ghamanḍ key|kī kōī bāt nahī̃ .
94There is no question of arrogance in this.
100Bāp kitnā nirahaṅkārī hai .
95The Father is so egoless.
101Buddhi mē̃ kitnī khuśhī rahtī hai .
96You have so much happiness in your intellects.
102Kal ham hīrē javāharō̃ K|kē mahal banāyēṅgē .
97Tomorrow, we will build palaces studded with diamonds and jewels.
103Naī duniyā mē̃ rājdhānī chalāyēṅgē .
98We will rule the kingdom in the new world.
104Yah tō bilkul patit duniyā hai .
99This world is totally impure.
105Is duniyā K|kē manuṣhya tō kōī kām K|kē nahī̃ , kuchh nahī̃ jāntē haĩ .
100The human beings of this world are of no use at all; they don’t know anything.
106Yah bhī dikhānā chāhiē - hīrē jaisā jīvan thā . 107Vahī phir 84 janma lē kauṛī misal ban jātē haĩ .
101You should also show that your life was as valuable as a diamond and that now, having taken 84 births, you same ones have become as worthless as shells.
108Yah sīṛhī kā chitra number one hai .
102The picture of the ladder is a number one picture.
109Phir dūsrē number mē̃ hai trimūrti .
103The second number picture is that of the Trimurti.
110Tum kahtē hō - nikaṭ bhaviṣhya mē̃ śhrēṣhṭhāchārī bhārat ban jāyēgā .
104You say that Bharat will become elevated in the near future.
111Śhrēṣhṭhāchārī duniyā mē̃ bahut thōṛē manuṣhya hōṅgē , abhī kitnē ḍhēr manuṣhya haĩ .
105There will be very few people in the elevated world. 106Now, there are so many human beings.
112Mahābhārat laṛāī bhī sāmnē khaṛī hai .
107The Mahabharat War is in front of you.
113Sab ātmāyē̃ machchharō̃ sadr̥iśhya jāyēṅgī .
108All souls will go back like a swarm of mosquitoes.
114Āg bhaṛak rahī hai .
109The fire is about to be ignited.
115Jitnā kōśhiśh kartē haĩ sudhārnē key|kī , utnā hī bigaṛtē jātē haĩ .
110The more they try to reform everything, the worse everything becomes.
116Bāp bachchō̃ kō rājyōg sikhlā rahē haĩ .
111The Father is teaching you children Raja Yoga.
117Bachchō̃ kō kitnā naśhā chaṛhātē haĩ .
112He makes you children so intoxicated.
118Kōī-kōī tō yahā̃ sē bāhar nikalē , sārā gyān uṛ jātā hai . 119Smr̥iti kuchh bhī rahtī nahī̃ .
113As soon as some of you go away from here, all the knowledge flies away and you don’t remember anything.
120Nahī̃ tō śhauk hō ki jākar service karē̃ .
114Otherwise, there would be the interest to go and serve others.
121Bāp bhī guṇ dēkh service par bhējē̃gē nā .
115Seeing your virtues, the Father would send you children on service.
122Ismē̃ baṛē harṣhit rahē̃gē .
116You would remain very cheerful in this.
123Service mē̃ khuśhī kā pārā chaṛhēgā .
117By doing service, your mercury of happiness would rise.
124Achchhē-achchhē purānē bachchē āpas mē̃ rūṭh paṛtē haĩ thōṛī-thōṛī bāt mē̃ .
118Some good, old children sulk with one another over trivial matters.
125Aisē thōṛēhī in bātō̃ K|kē kāraṇ tumkō service nahī̃ karnī hai .
119It isn’t that you stop doing service because of those things.
126Service tō khuśhī sē karnī chāhiē .
120You should do service in happiness.
127Jiskē sāth bantī nahī̃ hai , uskī śhakla dēkhnē sē hī service kā khyāl uṛ jātā hai .
121The thought of doing service flies away as soon as you see the face of someone with whom you don’t get on well.
128Service mē̃ dil nahī̃ lagtī hai tō kinārā kar lētē haĩ .
122When you’re not interested in doing service, you step away from everyone.
129Phir tō gyānī aur agyānī mē̃ kōī fark nahī̃ rahā .
123In that case, there is no difference between those who are in knowledge and those who are not.
130Dēh-abhimān key|kī grahachārī ākar baiṭhtī hai .
124The bad omens of body consciousness enter and settle in.
131Yah hai pahlē number key|kī bīmārī .
125This is the number one illness.
132Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē dēhī-abhimānī banō .
126The Father says: Children, become soul conscious.
133Ātmā hī sab kuchh kartī hai nā .
127It is the soul that does everything.
134Ātmā hī vikārī aur nirvikārī bantī hai .
128Souls become vicious and viceless.
135Svarg mē̃ nirvikārī thī .
129They were viceless in heaven.
136Rāvaṇrājya mē̃ ātmā hī vikārī banī hai .
130Souls have become vicious in the kingdom of Ravan.
137Yah bhī drama aisā banā huā hai isliē pukārtē haĩ hē patit-pāvan āō .
131This drama is predestined in this way and this is why people call out: O Purifier, come!
138Jō nirvikārī thē , vahī patit vikārī banē haĩ .
132Those who were viceless have become impure and vicious.
139Yah kiskī bhī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ hai ki ham hī nirvikārī thē , ab vikārī banē haĩ .
133It doesn’t enter any of their intellects that they were viceless and that they have now become vicious.
140Ham ātmā mūlvatan key|kī rahnē vālī haĩ .
134We souls are residents of the incorporeal world.
141Vahā̃ tō ham ātmā nirvikārī hōṅgē .
135There, we souls will be viceless.
142Yahā̃ śharīr mē̃ ākar part bajātē-bajātē vikārī banē haĩ .
136Here, while playing our parts through our bodies, we have become vicious.
143Yah bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
137The Father sits here and explains this.
144Ātmā śhāntidhām sē ātī hai tō jarūr pavitra hī hōgī phir apavitr banī hai .
138When souls come from the land of peace they are definitely pure, and then they become impure.
145Pavitra duniyā mē̃ 9 lākh hōtē haĩ .
139There are 900,000 people in the new world.
146Phir itnī sab ātmāyē̃ kahā̃ sē I|āī|eye ?
140Where did all of these many souls come from?
147Jarūr śhāntidhām sē I|āī|eye hōṅgī .
141They would definitely have come from the land of peace.
148Vah hai peaceful incorporeal world .
142That is the peaceful, incorporeal world; all souls there are pure.
149Vahā̃ sab ātmāyē̃ pavitra rahtī haĩ phir part bajātē-bajātē , satō-rajō-tamō mē̃ ātī haĩ .
143Then, while playing their parts, they go through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.
150Pāvan sē patit hōnā hai .
144Souls have to become impure from pure.
151Phir bāp ākar sabkō pāvan banāyēṅgē .
145The Father then comes and purifies everyone.
152Yah drama chaltā hī rahtā hai .
146This drama continues all the time.
153Drama K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kā rāz bāp K|kē sivāē aur kōī batlā na sakē .
147No one, apart from the Father, can tell you the secrets of the beginning, the middle and the end of the drama.
154Us bāp kō kōī jāntē hī nahī̃ haĩ .
148No one knows that Father.
155R̥iṣhi-muni bhī nētī-nētī kah gayē .
149Rishis and munis have been saying, “Neti, Neti” (Neither this nor that)!
156Ham bhagvān kō aur unkī rachnā kō nahī̃ jāntē haĩ .
150“We neither know God nor His creation.”
157Phir kahtē bhī haĩ - god father is knowledgeful .
151They then say that God, the Father, is knowledge-full.
158Vah paramātmā sarv ātmāō̃ kā bāp , bījrūp hai .
152The Supreme Soul, the Father of all souls, is the Seed.
159Vah hai ātmāō̃ kā bījrūp aur yah prajāpitā brahmā hai manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi kā bījrūp .
153He is the Seed of all souls and Prajapita Brahma is the seed of the human world.
160Vah nirākār bāp ismē̃ pravēśh kar manuṣhyō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ , manuṣhya dvārā .
154The incorporeal Father enters this one (Brahma) and explains to human beings through this human being.
