Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - krōdh bhī bahut baṛā kāṇṭā hai , issē bahutō̃ kō duḥkh miltā hai isliē is kāṇṭē kō nikāl sachchē-sachchē fool|phūl banō ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, anger is a very big thorn. 2Many receive sorrow through it and you must, therefore, remove that thorn and become a true flower.

Question

2Praśhna  : kāṇṭē sē fool|phūl bannē vālē bachchō̃ kō bāp kaun see|sī|C āthat ( dhairya ) dētē haĩ  ? 3Uttar  : bachchē , abhī tak kāṇṭē sē fool|phūl bannē mē̃ jō māyā vighna ḍāltī hai - yah vighna ēk din khatm hō jāyēṅgē . 4Tum sab svarg mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .

3Question: What reassurance does the Father give the children who are becoming flowers from thorns? 4Answer: Children, the obstacles that Maya still causes you while you are becoming flowers from thorns will one day come to an end and all of you will go to heaven.

5Yah kaliyugī kāṇṭē khatm hō jāyēṅgē .

5Those iron-aged thorns will end.

6Bāp nē tumhē̃ saṅgam-yugī pôṭ mē̃ ḍālā hai .

6The Father has put you in the confluence-aged pot.

7Māyā bhal murjhā dētī hai lēkin gyān kā bīj avināśhī hai - yah bīj vināśh nahī̃ hō saktā .

7Although Maya makes you wilt, the seed of knowledge is imperishable.

8Gīt  : na vah hamsē judā hōṅgē …

8This seed can never be destroyed. 9Song: Neither will He be separated from us nor will there be sorrow.

9Ōm śhānti .

10Om shanti.

10Śhivbābā brahmā K|kē tan sē mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē rūhānī bachchō̃ prati guhya rāz vā gyān samjhā rahē haĩ .

11Shiv Baba explains the deep secrets of knowledge to you sweetest beloved, long-lost and now-found, spiritual children through the body of Brahma.

11Ēk tō bachchō̃ nē gīt sunā ki bābā ham āpkē ūpar bali chaṛhē̃gē , bhal kitnē bhī sitam sahan karnē paṛē̃ .

12Firstly, you children heard in the song: Baba, we will sacrifice ourselves to You, no matter how many assaults we have to tolerate.

12Sitam kyō̃ hōtē haĩ  ?

13Why are there assaults?

13Kyōṅki manuṣhyō̃ kō zahar ( vikār ) nahī̃ miltā .

14Because human beings don't receive poison (vice).

14Yah tō bachchē jāntē haĩ ki ham na ātmā kō , na paramātmā kō jāntē thē . 15Na apnē āpkō , na bāp kō jāntē thē isliē jaisē jānvar buddhi thē .

15You children know that, previously, you neither knew about souls nor the Supreme Soul; you neither knew yourselves nor the Father.

16Laukik sambandh mē̃ tō apnē kō jāntē haĩ .

16Therefore, it was as though you had animal intellects.

17Bāp kō bhī jāntē haĩ .

17In worldly terms, you know yourselves and your fathers.

18Is samay K|kē manuṣhya apnē kō aur pārlaukik bāp kō bilkul hī nahī̃ jāntē haĩ .

18Human beings of this time neither know themselves nor the Father from beyond this world at all.

19Kah dētē haĩ paramātmā kā tō kōī nām rūp dēśh kāl hai hī nahī̃ .

19They say that God doesn't have a name, form, land or time.

20Tō phir ātmā kā bhī nahī̃ hōnā chāhiē .

20Therefore, none of those things would be there for souls either.

21Ātmā kō bhī vē|way lōg jāntē hī nahī̃ .

21They don't know about souls at all.

22Kah dētē ātmā sō paramātmā .

22They say that each soul is the Supreme Soul.

23Abhī tumnē jānā hai .

23You now know.

24Vah tō sirph nām mātra kah dētē haĩ ātmā aur jīv hai . 25Ātmā avināśhī hai , jīv vināśhī hai .

24They simply say for the sake of it that there is the soul and the being; that the soul is imperishable and the being is perishable.

26Achchhā ātmā kyā chīz hai , unkā rūp raṅg kyā hai .

25What is a soul? 26What is his form and colour?

27Nām tō jāntē haĩ ki ātmā hai parantu vah kaisī hai , kyā kartī hai  ? 28Kaisē-kaisē part bajātī hai  ? 29Kitnā samay part bajātī hai  ?

27They know his name is soul, but no one can explain what he is like, what he does, what type of part he plays or for how long he plays his part.

30Is ātmā key|kī knowledge kā kōī varṇan kar na sakē .

28No one can give any knowledge of souls.

31Abhī tum jāntē hō ātmā chhōṭā star hai .

29You now know that a soul is a tiny star.

32Ātmā mē̃ hī sārā 84 janmō̃ kā part avināśhī nūndhā huā hai .

30An imperishable part of 84 births is recorded in a soul.

33Śhaṅkarāchārya key|kī ātmā bhī apnā part bajā rahī hai .

31The Shankaracharya soul is also playing his own part.

34Yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē ki ātmā kaisē satōpradhān phir satō rajō tamō mē̃ ātī hai .

32No one even knows how a soul becomes satopradhan and how he then goes through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.

35Sirph kah dētē haĩ bhrakuṭī kē bīch chamaktā hai azab sitārā .

33They simply say that a wonderful star sparkles in the centre of the forehead.

36Bas aur kuchh nahī̃ jāntē .

34They don't know anything else.

37Ātmā kō nahī̃ jānā gōyā paramātmā kō nahī̃ jānā .

35Not to know about souls means not to know God.

38Is samay yah hai kāṇṭō̃ kā jaṅgal . 39Sab kāṇṭē haĩ .

36At this time, this is a forest of thorns where everyone is a thorn.

40Na rachayitā parampitā paramātmā kō jāntē haĩ , na rachnā K|kē ādi madhya ant kō jāntē haĩ .

37They neither know the Creator, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, nor the beginning, the middle and the end of creation.

41Tum bachchē ātmā aur paramātmā kō jāntē hō sō bhī number-vār purūṣhārth anusār .

38You children know about souls and the Supreme Soul, but that too is numberwise according to the efforts you make.

42Bahut bachchē haĩ jō yathārth rīti nahī̃ jāntē .

39Many of you children don't know this accurately.

43Dēh-abhimān mē̃ rahnē K|kē kāraṇ pūrī dhārṇā nahī̃ hōtī hai .

40Because of being body conscious, you are unable to imbibe fully; it is numberwise.

44Number-vār tō haĩ nā .

41Some of you ask: Baba, why is it like this?

45Pūchhtē haĩ - bābā aisē kyō̃ hai  ?

42Baba says: Children, a kingdom is being established.

46Bābā kahtē haĩ bachchē yah rājdhānī sthāpan hō rahī hai . 47Ismē̃ sab prakār K|kē jarūr chāhiē .

43All types are definitely needed for it. 44Those who have stone intellects would attain the lowest status of all.

48Pattharbuddhi hō̃ tab tō kam sē kam pad pāyē̃ .

45If you know something yourself you would also explain to others.

49Agar khud jāntē hō tō aurō̃ kō bhī samjhāyē̃ .

46You say you will begin to explain as you make further progress.

50Tum kahē̃gē āgē chalkar samjhānē lag paṛē̃gē , parantu aisē bhī kōī chāhiē tab tō cum|kam pad milēgā nā .

47However, there have to be ones like that, for only then can there be those who receive a low status.

51Kahā̃ rājā kahā̃ prajā , kitnā fark hai .

48There is so much difference between a king and a subject!

52Yahā̃ tō rājā prajā sabkō duḥkh hai .

49Here, both kings and subjects experience sorrow.

53Satyug mē̃ na rājā kō duḥkh , na prajā kō , parantu martabē mē̃ fark hai .

50In the golden age, neither kings nor subjects experience sorrow, but there is a difference in their status.

54Pūrī dhārṇā na hōnē K|kē kāraṇ kiskō samjhā nahī̃ saktē haĩ .

51Because of not imbibing fully, you are unable to explain to anyone.

55Phir kōī na kōī kāṇṭā lagtā rahēgā . 56Kabhī lōbh kā , kabhī mōh kā . . . bhūtō̃ key|kī pravēśhtā hōtī rahēgī .

52Then, one thorn or another will continue to prick you: sometimes that of greed and sometimes that of attachment. 53The evil spirits will continue to interfere.

57Yah bhī hōnā hai jarūr .

54This definitely has to happen.

58Tum hō prajāpitā brahmākumār kumāriyā̃ .

55You are Prajapita Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.

59Prajāpitā kā bāp kaun  ?

56Who is the Father of Prajapita?

60Śhivbābā .

57Shiv Baba.

61Bākī śhiv kā bāp kōī hōtā nahī̃ .

58However, Shiva doesn't have a father.

62Yah brahmā viṣhṇu śhaṅkar bhī śhiv key|kī rachnā haĩ .

59This Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar are also the creation of Shiva.

63Tō sab hō gaī ātmāyē̃ .

60So, everyone is a soul.

64Parampitā paramātmā ēk hai .

61The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is only One.

65Brahmā viṣhṇu śhaṅkar athavā lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ādi kōī bhī manuṣhya ātmā sē kabhī gati sadgati kā varsā mil nahī̃ saktā .

62You cannot receive the inheritance of liberation or salvation from Brahma, Vishnu or Shankar, or from Lakshmi and Narayan or from any human being.

66Manuṣhya na ātmā kō yathārth jāntē haĩ , na paramātmā kō jāntē haĩ .

63Human beings neither know about souls or the Supreme Soul accurately.

67Ēk parampitā paramātmā hī ātmā kā realisation karā saktē haĩ .

64Only the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, can enable you to have realisation of souls.

68Gyān sē sadgati hōtī hai .

65Salvation is received through knowledge.

69Gyān tō ēk bāp hī dētē haĩ .

66Only the one Father gives knowledge.

70Kōī-kōī bachchē phir yagya key|kī sthūl sēvā bhī bahut kartē haĩ .

67Some children do a lot of physical service for the yagya.

71Is subject sē bhī marks miltī haĩ .

68You receive marks in that subject too.

72Ab tum bachchō̃ kō bāp amarkathā , tījrī kī kathā sunātē haĩ .

69The Father is now telling you children the story of immortality and the story of the third eye.

73Yah vāstav mē̃ kathā nahī̃ hai .

70In fact, these are not stories.

74Yah hai rūhānī gyān .

71This is spiritual knowledge.

75Apnē kō aur bāp kō jānnā .

72You have to know the Father and yourself.

76Vah tō kah dētē haĩ jaisē pānī sē budbudā nikaltā hai phir samā jātā hai . 77Ham brahm sē paidā hō part bajāē phir brahm mē̃ līn hō jātē haĩ yā brahm hī ban jātē haĩ . 78Aur kōī rachnā aur rachtā kā gyān hai hī nahī̃ .

73They say that just as a bubble emerges from water and then merges back into it, in the same way, we are created from the brahm element, that we play our parts and then become merged in the brahm element or become the brahm element, that there is no other knowledge of the Creator or creation.

79Gyān tō bāp hī ākar samjhātē haĩ .

74Only the Father comes and explains knowledge.

80Inkā nām hai śhiv .

75His name is Shiva.

81Phir unkō kōī rūdra bhī kahtē haĩ , kōī pāp kaṭēśhvar bhī kahtē haĩ .

76Some even call Him Rudra, and some call Him the Remover of Sins.

82Anēk nām rakh pūjā kī sāmagrī baṛhā dī hai .

77They have given Him many names and increased the paraphernalia of worship.

83Jō jō paramātmā nē kartavya kiyā hai us par bhinn-bhinn nām rakh bahut mandir banā diyē haĩ .

78They have given Him as many names as the acts He has carried out and they have built many temples to Him.

84Ab bāp kahtē haĩ yah hai kāṇṭō̃ key|kī duniyā , viṣhay sāgar .

79The Father says: This is now the world of thorns, the ocean of poison.

85Yah bhī sabsē likhāyā jātā hai ki īśhvar sarvavyāpī nahī̃ haĩ .

80Everyone is made to write that God is not omnipresent.

86Bāp tō ākar bhārat kō svarg banātē haĩ . 87Tō sārī duniyā svarg ban jātī hai .

81The Father comes and makes Bharat into heaven, and so the whole world becomes heaven.

88Yah bhī kiskī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ ātā .

82This doesn't enter anyone's intellect.

89Śhāstra sab haĩ bhakti K|kē .

83All the scriptures are of devotion.

90Bākī har ēk kō apnē-apnē kām kā gyān hai .

84Each one has knowledge of his own work.

91Vāṛhē ( carpenter ) kō vāṛhē kā gyān hai . 92Doctor kō ḍôkṭarī kā gyān hai .

85A carpenter has knowledge of carpentry and a doctor has knowledge of medicine.

93Yah hai rūhānī gyān . 94Jō tō ēk paramātmā hī ākar dētē haĩ .

86This is spiritual knowledge which only the Supreme Soul comes and gives.

95Manuṣhyō̃ kō yah patā hī nahī̃ ki paramātmā kiskō kahā jātā hai .

87Human beings don't know who the One called God is.

96Gītā mē̃ śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā nām ḍāl diyā hai .

88In the Gita they have mentioned the name of Shri Krishna.

97Mukhya bāt hai hī yah .

89This is the main thing.

98Māī|my bāp kō khaṇḍan kar diyā hai tō bākī sab śhāstra jhūṭhē hō gayē .

90They have falsified the mother and father (the Gita) and so all the other scriptures have become false.

99Jhūṭhē pattharō̃ key|kī bhī khāniyā̃ hōtī haĩ . 100Yah bhī jaisē jhūṭhē patthar haĩ .

91Just as they have mines of artificial (false) stones, so here, these are like false stones.

101Pāras-buddhi vālē rahtē haĩ pāraspurī satyug mē̃ .

92Those with divine intellects live in the golden age, the land of divinity.

102Yah tō hai nark .

93This is hell.

103Bulātē haĩ hē patit-pāvan āō tō jarūr patit haĩ .

94They call out, “O Purifier come!”, and so they must surely be impure.

104Nark aur svarg dōnō̃ bhārat mē̃ hī haĩ .

95Both heaven and hell exist in Bharat.

105Kōī martē haĩ tō kahtē haĩ svarg gayā .

96When someone dies, it is said that he has gone to heaven.

106Yah buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ ātā ki svarg tō satyug kō kahā jātā hai .

97It doesn't enter their intellects that the golden age is heaven.

107Paramātmā svarg key|kī sthāpanā kartē haĩ , na ki nark key|kī .

98God establishes heaven, not hell.

108Rāvaṇ rājya kab sē śhurū hōtā hai , yah bhī kiskō patā nahī̃ hai .

99No one knows when the kingdom of Ravan begins.

109Bhal śhāstra bahut paṛhtē haĩ , brahmcharya mē̃ bhī rahtē haĩ parantu paidā tō vikār sē hōtē haĩ nā .

100Although they study many scriptures and remain celibate, they are still born through vice.

110Sādhū-sannyāsī bhī sādhnā kartē haĩ .

101Sages and sannyasis too make spiritual endeavour.

111Bāp sē mukti māṅgtē haĩ kyōṅki chhī-chhī duniyā mē̃ rahnē nahī̃ chāhtē haĩ .

102They ask the Father for liberation because they don't want to stay in the dirty world.

112Ab bāp kahtē haĩ pahlē ātmā kō jānō ki kaisē janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātī hai . 113Kaisē sachchē sōnē mē̃ khād paṛtī hai , kaisē 84 janmō̃ kā part bajātī hai .

103The Father says: First of all, know yourselves, souls, how you go around the cycle of birth and death, how alloy is mixed into real gold and how you play your parts of 84 births.

114Sabsē jāstī part tumhārā hai jō dēvī-dēvtā thē vahī pūrē 84 janma lētē haĩ .

104You have the maximum parts. 105Those who were deities take the full 84 births.

115Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ nē rājya kiyā phir kahā̃ gayē  ?

106Where did Lakshmi and Narayan go after they ruled the kingdom?

116Unkī ātmā nē jarūr janm tō liyā hōgā nā .

107Those souls must definitely have taken birth.

117Ab vah kahā̃ hai  ?

108Where are they now?

118Kōī jāntā nahī̃ .

109No one knows this.

119Kriściyan lōg jāntē haĩ ki Christ is samay beggary part mē̃ hōgā .

110Some people believe that, at this time, Christ would be in his beggary part.

120Tum tō achchhī rīti jāntē hō lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ jō svarg K|kē mālik thē , unhō̃ kō hī punarjanma lē 84 janm pūrē karnē haĩ .

111You know very well that Lakshmi and Narayan, who were the masters of heaven, have to take rebirth and complete their 84 births.

121Sabhī ātmāyē̃ 84 janm nahī̃ lē̃gī .

112Not all souls take 84 births.

122Yah bhī gyān buddhi mē̃ dhāraṇ karnē kā hai .

113Let your intellects imbibe this knowledge.

123Yōg mē̃ rahnē K|kē sivāē kāṇṭō̃ sē fool|phūl ban nahī̃ saktē .

114Without staying in yoga, you cannot change from thorns into flowers.

124Yōg sē hī vikarma vināśh hōṅgē aur satōpradhān fool|phūl banē̃gē .

115It is only by having yoga that your sins will be absolved and you will become satopradhan flowers.

125Jab tak yahā̃ haĩ tab tak kuchh na kuchh kāṇṭē-panē kā aṅśh rahtā hai .

116While you are here, there will definitely be some trace of thorns.

126Fool|phūl ban gayē phir tum yahā̃ rah nahī̃ sakē̃gē .

117Once you have become flowers, you won't be able to stay here.

127Phūlō̃ kā bagīchā satyug kō kahā jātā hai .

118The golden age is called the garden of flowers.

128Abhī tum kāṇṭō̃ K|kē jaṅgal athavā rāvaṇ K|kē rājya mē̃ hō .

119You are now in the forest of thorns, that is, in the kingdom of Ravan.

129Sab kāṇṭē hī kāṇṭē haĩ .

120All here are thorns.

130Jō bahut kāṇṭō̃ kō fool|phūl banātē haĩ unhē̃ hī sachchā khuśhbūdār fool|phūl kahē̃gē .

121Those who make many thorns into flowers are said to be the real fragrant flowers.

131Ēk fool|phūl hōtā hai king of|off flower , saphēd hōtā hai .

122There is a particular white flower known as the king of flowers.

132Table par rakhā jātā hai , phir khiltā rahtā hai . 133Khuśhbū baṛhtī rahtī hai .

123Even when it is placed on a table it continues to bloom and its fragrance continues to increase.

134Aisā fool|phūl kōī hōtā nahī̃ .

124No one is such a flower.

135Ab king fool|phūl hai tō queen bhī chāhiē . 136 ( rāt key|kī rānī ) gulāb , mōtiyā ādi achchhē-achchhē fool|phūl haĩ .

125Since there is a king flower, there also has to be a queen flower (raat ki rani - queen of the night).

137Flower show dikhātē haĩ .

126Roses, jasmine etc. are very good flowers.

138Vahā̃ sab achchhē-achchhē phūl lē ātē haĩ .

127They have flower shows where everyone brings very good flowers.

139Jō achchhē-achchhē fool|phūl lātē haĩ unkō inām bhī miltā hai .

128Those who bring very good flowers are given a prize.

140Tum bhī phūlō̃ kā bagīchā banātē hō nā .

129You too are creating a garden of flowers.

141Śhiv par fool|phūl chaṛhātē haĩ , usmē̃ ratan jyōt , ak K|kē fool|phūl bhī chaṛhātē haĩ .

130People offer flowers to Shiva and those include ratan-jyot (very fragrant flower) and even uck flowers.

142Bābā nē samjhāyā hai maĩ yahā̃ tum bachchō̃ kō fool|phūl banānē kā part bajātā hū̃ .

131Baba has explained that He plays the part of making you children into flowers.

143Maĩ jāntā hū̃ kaun gulāb K|kē fool|phūl haĩ , kaun mōtiyā hai , kaun ratanajyōt hai . 144Kaun ak hai .

132I know who is a rose, who is a jasmine, who is a ratan-jyot and who is an uck flower.

145Sabsē chhī-chhī hōtā hai ak . 146Unkī chalan hī kāṇṭō̃ misal hōtī hai .

133The worst of all are uck flowers: they behave like thorns.

147Kōī-kōī bahut tīkhē kāṇṭē haĩ .

134Some are very sharp thorns.

148Krōdh bhī ēk kāṇṭā hai . 149Bahutō̃ kō duḥkh dētē haĩ .

135Anger too is a thorn that causes sorrow for many people.

150Abhī tum kāṇṭō̃ key|kī duniyā sē kinārē mē̃ hō .

136You children have now stepped aside from the world of thorns.

151Saṅgam par hō . 152Kāṇṭō̃ sē fool|phūl ban rahē hō .

137You are at the confluence age; you are changing from thorns into flowers.

153Jaisē mālī kāṇṭō̃ kō nikāl , phūlō̃ kō alag pôṭ mē̃ rakhtē haĩ . 154Tumkō bhī bābā nē alag kar diyā hai .

138Just as a gardener removes thorns from the stems of flowers and puts them in a separate pot, so too, Baba has separated you.

155Tum saṅgam par hō .

139You are at the confluence age.

156Tumhārī marammat hōtī rahtī hai .

140You are continuing to be repaired.

157Phir bhī māyā kāṇṭā banā dētī hai phir bhī ēk bār hamārā ban gayā nā . . tō yah māyā K|kē vighna bhī ēk din khatm hō jāyēṅgē .

141In spite of that, Maya makes you into thorns. 142However, once you belong to Me, these obstacles of Maya will finish one day.

158Phir yah jō pôṭ mē̃ lagē huē fool|phūl haĩ vah sab svarg mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .

143Then the flowers that are planted in this pot will all go to heaven.

159Kaliyugī kāṇṭē̃ sab bhasma hō jāyēṅgē .

144All the iron-aged thorns will be burnt away.

160Tum kitnē thōṛē fool|phūl hō .

145There are so few of you flowers!

161Tumhē̃ saṅgamyugī pôṭ mē̃ ḍālā hai .

146You have been placed in the confluence-aged pot.

162Bīj bōyā huā hai .

147The seed has been sown.

163Māyā kā tūphān lagtā hai tō murjhā dētā hai .

148When storms of Maya come, they make you wilt.

149Nevertheless, once the seed of imperishable knowledge has been sown, it is never destroyed.

150The Father sits here and says to you children: You children have to become very fearless.

151Baba tells you to write: We come every 5000 years at the confluence age to show you this fair and exhibition.

167Yah tō likhnā hai ki yah laṛāī 5 hajār varṣh kē bād lagtī hai . 168Purānī duniyā kō nayā banānē yā narkavāsiyō̃ kō svargvāsī banānē .

152Also write that this war takes place every 5000 years in order to make the old world new and to change the residents of hell into residents of heaven.

172Manuṣhya tō pānī mē̃ ṭubkā mārtē rahtē haĩ . 173Sō bhī sāgar mē̃ jāyē̃ nā .

156Human beings continue to take a dip in water; they should then do that in the ocean.

174Nadiyā̃ sāgar sē nikalī haĩ .

157Rivers have emerged from the ocean.

175Nadiyō̃ kā bāp sāgar hai nā .

158The ocean is the father of rivers.

176Vahā̃ jākar snān karō .

159People should go and bathe there.

178Abhī tum hō gyān sāgar K|kē bachchē , gyān sāgar patit-pāvan bāp hai .

161You are now the children of the Ocean of Knowledge. 162The Ocean of Knowledge, the Purifier, is the Father; you are His children.

180Pradarśhanī mē̃ bhī ghaṛī-ghaṛī achchhē phūlō̃ kō bulātē haĩ . 181Samajhtē haĩ phalānē hamsē hōśhiyār haĩ .

182Parantu hōśhiyār kā phir regard bhī rakhnā chāhiē .

165However, regard has to be given to those who are clever.

168When someone becomes angry, Baba understands he has a powerful evil spirit in him.

186Mā̃ bāp par bhī krōdh karnē mē̃ dērī nahī̃ kartē haĩ aur hī durgati kō pā lē̃gē .

169Some don't hesitate to become angry with their parents and so they become even more degraded.

187Garīb nivāz kab garībō̃ par krōdh karē̃gē kyā  !

170Would the Lord of the Poor ever become angry with the poor?

188Garīb nivāz bābā āyā hī hai garībō̃ kō sāhūkār banānē .

191Aisē bhī centres par ātē haĩ jō īśhvarīy sēvā mē̃ kuchh nahī̃ dētē haĩ .

174Some children who go to the centres don't even give anything for Godly service.

175They don't know that, by sowing a few seeds, their future can become so elevated.

197Yahā̃ kauṛiyā̃ dētē hō vahā̃ hīrē ban jātē haĩ isliē chāval muṭaṭhī kā gāyan hai .

179You give shells here and they become diamonds there. 180This is why there is the praise of “a handful of rice”.

198Gurūnānak K|kē ṭikāṇē mē̃ jātē haĩ , kuchh na kuchh rakhtē jarūr haĩ .

181When people go to a Sikh temple, they definitely put something in there.

199Parantu yahā̃ tō bāp dātā hai nā .

182However, here, the Father Himself is the Bestower.
