Murli

10Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

11Rūhānī bachchō̃ prati rūhānī bāp nē ōm śhānti kā arth|earth bhī samjhāyā hai .

10The spiritual Father has explained the meaning of ‘Om shanti’ to you spiritual children.

12Ōm kō aham arthāt maĩ bhī kahā jātā hai .

11“Om” can also mean “I”.

13Maĩ ātmā , mērā śharīr dō chīzē̃ haĩ .

12I, this soul, and my body are two things.

14Yah ātmā nē kahā ōm śhānti arthāt śhānti mērā svadharm hai .

13The soul said, "Om shanti", that is, peace is my original religion.

15Ātmā kā nivās sthān hai śhāntidhām athavā paramdhām .

14The residence of souls is the land of peace, the supreme abode.

16Vah hai nirākārī duniyā .

15That is the incorporeal world.

17Yah hai sākārī manuṣhyō̃ key|kī duniyā .

16This is the world of corporeal human beings.

18Manuṣhya mē̃ ātmā hai aur yah śharīr 5 tatvō̃ kā banā huā hai .

17Each soul is in a human body; a body is made up of the five elements.

19Ātmā avināśhī hai , vah kab martī nahī̃ .

18Souls are imperishable and never die.

20Ab ātmā kā bāp kaun  ?

19Who is the Father of souls?

21Śharīr kā bāp tō har ēk kā alag-alag hai . 22Bākī sabhī ātmāō̃ kā bāp ēk hī hai parampitā paramātmā , unkā aslī nām hai śhiv .

20The fathers of bodies are all different, whereas the Father of all souls is the one Father, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, and His real name is Shiva.

23Pahlē-pahlē kahtē haĩ  ; śhiv paramātmāē namaḥ phir kahē̃gē brahmā dēvtāē namaḥ , viṣhṇu dēvtāē namaḥ .

21It is first said, “Salutations to the Supreme Soul Shiva”, and then, “Salutations to the deity Brahma and to the deity Vishnu.”

24Unhō̃ kō bhagvān nahī̃ kah saktē .

22They cannot be called God.

25Sabsē ūñch haĩ nirākār paramātmā . 26Phir haĩ sūkṣhma dēvtāyē̃ , yahā̃ sabhī manuṣhya haĩ .

23The highest of all is the incorporeal Supreme Soul, then there are the subtle deities and then all human beings who are here.

27Ab praśhna uṭhtā hai ki ātmā kā rūp kyā hai  ?

24The question arises: What is the form of a soul?

28Bhārat mē̃ śhiv key|kī pūjā kartē haĩ , śhivkāśhī , śhivkāśhī kahtē haĩ .

25People worship Shiva in Bharat and continue to sing, “Shiva Kashi, Shiva Kashi.”

29Vē|way lōg liṅg banātē haĩ , kōī baṛā banātē , kōī chhōṭā lēkin jaisē ātmā kā rūp hai vaisē paramātmā kā rūp hai .

26Those people make lingams. 27Some make them big and some make them small, but as is the form of a soul, so the form of the Supreme Soul.

30Param ātmā uskō milākar paramātmā kahtē haĩ .

28The Supreme and the Soul put together refer to God.

31Paramātmā kē liē kōī kahtē vah akhaṇḍ jyōti svarūp hai , kōī kahtē brahm hai .

29Some say of God that He is eternal light and others say He is the brahm element.

32Ab bāp samjhātē haĩ jaisē tum ātmā bindī hō vaisē mērā rūp bhī bindī hai .

30The Father explains: Just as you souls are points, so, too, My form is also a point.

33Jab rūdra pūjā kartē haĩ tō usmē̃ liṅg hī banātē haĩ .

31When people worship Rudra, they create a lingam image.

34Śhiv kā baṛā liṅg bākī sāligrām chhōṭē-chhōṭē banātē haĩ .

32They make a big lingam to represent Shiva and smaller ones to represent saligrams.

35Manuṣhyō̃ kō na yathārth ātmā kā gyān hai , na paramātmā kā .

33Humans neither have accurate knowledge of souls nor of the Supreme Soul.

36Tō vah manuṣhya bākī kyā rahā .

34So, what sort of human beings are they?

37Sabmē̃ 5 vikār pravēśh haĩ .

35All have the five vices in them.

38Dēh-abhimān mē̃ ākar ēk dō kō kāṭtē rahtē haĩ .

36They become body conscious and continue to hurt one another.

39Yah vikār haĩ hī duḥkh dēnē vālē .

37These vices cause sorrow.

40Kōī mar gayā tō duḥkh huā .

38When someone dies, others experience sorrow.

41Yah bhī kāṇṭā lagā .

39That too is like a thorn pricking.

42Kōī bhī manuṣhya kō na ātmā kā , na paramātmā kā realisation hai .

40No human being has realisation of either souls or the Supreme Soul.

43Sūrat manuṣhya key|kī sīrat vikārī hai isliē kahā jātā hai rāvaṇ sampradāy kyōṅki hai hī rāvaṇ rājya .

41Their faces are of human beings but their characters are full of vices. 42This is why they are called the Ravan community because this is the kingdom of Ravan.

44Sab kahtē bhī haĩ hamkō rāmrājya chāhiē .

43Everyone says: We want the kingdom of Rama.

45Gītā mē̃ bhī akṣhar hai kaurav sampradāy , pāṇḍav sampradāy aur yādav sampradāy .

44The Kaurava, Pandava and Yadava communities are mentioned in the Gita.

46Abhī tum bachchē rājyōg sīkh rahē hō .

45You children are now studying Raja Yoga.

47Rājyōg śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa sikhlā na sakē . 48Vah hai satyug kā prince .

46Shri Krishna cannot teach Raja Yoga; he is the prince of the golden age.

49Unkī mahimā hai sarvguṇ sampann … har ēk kā kartavya , mahimā alag-alag hai .

47His praise is: Full of all virtues…. 48Each one's duty and praise are different.

50President kā kartavya alag , prime minister kā kartavya alag .

49The duty of a President is different from that of a Prime Minister.

51Abhī yah tō ūñchē tē ūñchā bēhad kā bāp hai .

50That One is the Highest on High, the unlimited Father.

52Inkē kartavya kō bhī manuṣhya hī jānē̃gē , jānvar thōṛēhī jānē̃gē .

51Only human beings would know His duty; animals wouldn’t know it.

53Manuṣhya jab tamōpradhān ban jātē haĩ tō ēk dō kō gālī dētē haĩ .

52When human beings become tamopradhan, they continue to abuse one another.

54Yah hai hī purānī duniyā kaliyug , iskō nark kahā jātā hai .

53This is the old world of the iron age and it is called hell.

55Vicious world kahā jātā hai .

54It is called the vicious world.

56Satyug kō viceless world kahā jātā hai .

55The golden age is called the viceless world.

57Ātmā in organs dvārā kahtī hai hamkō rāmrājya chāhiē .

56The soul says through these organs, “I want the kingdom of Rama.

58Hē patit-pāvan āp ākar pāvan banāō , śhāntidhām , sukhdhām mē̃ lē jāō .

57O Purifier Father, come and purify us! 58Take us to the land of peace and the land of happiness.”

59Bāp samjhātē haĩ duḥkh sukh kā khēl banā huā hai .

59The Father explains: The play of happiness and sorrow has been created.

60Māyā tē hārē hār , māyā tē jītē jīt . 61Jiskī pūjā kartē haĩ unkē occupation kō bilkul hī nahī̃ jāntē haĩ .

60Those who are defeated by Maya are defeated by the whole world and those who have victory over Maya have victory over the whole world. 61People don't know the occupation of those whom they worship at all.

62Iskō kahā jātā hai andhaśhraddhā athavā guṛiyō̃ kī pūjā .

62That is called blind faith; it is the worship of dolls.

63Jaisē bachchē guṛiyā banākar khēlpāl kar phir tōṛ dētē haĩ .

63It is like children playing with dolls; they play with them and then break them.

64Śhiv paramātmāē namaḥ kahtē haĩ , parantu arth|earth nahī̃ jāntē .

64They say, “Salutations to the Supreme Soul, Shiva”, but they don't understand the meaning of it.

65Śhiv tō hai ūñchē tē ūñchā bāp .

65Shiva is the highest-on-high Father.

66Brahmā kō bhī prajāpitā kahtē haĩ .

66Brahma is called the Father of People.

67Prajā mānā hī manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi .

67People means the human world.

68Śhiv hai ātmāō̃ kā bāp .

68Shiva is the Father of souls.

69Sabhī kō dō bāp haĩ .

69Everyone has two fathers.

70Parantu sabhī ātmāō̃ kā bāp śhiv hai , unkō duḥkh hartā sukh kartā kahā jātā hai , kalyāṇkārī bhī kahtē haĩ .

70However, the Father of all souls is Shiva and He is also called the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.

71Dēvtāō̃ key|kī phir mahimā gātē haĩ āp sarvguṇ sampann . . . ham nīñch pāpī . . . hamārē mē̃ kōī guṇ nāhī .

71He is also called the Benevolent One. 72People sing praise of the deities, “You are full of all virtues. 73We are degraded sinners. 74We have no virtues.”

72Bilkul tuchchh buddhi haĩ .

75They are those with completely degraded intellects.

73Dēvtāyē̃ svachchha buddhi thē .

76The deities had very clean and pure intellects.

74Yahā̃ haĩ sab vikārī patit , isliē gurū kartē haĩ .

77Here, all are impure and vicious and this is why they adopt gurus.

75Gurū vah jō sadgati karē .

78A guru is one who grants salvation.

76Gurū kiyā hī jātā hai vānaprasth mē̃ .

79A guru is adopted by someone in the stage of retirement.

77Kahtē haĩ ham bhagvān kē pās jānē chāhtē haĩ .

80People say, “I want to go to God.”

78Satyug mē̃ vānaprasth avasthā kahtē nahī̃ haĩ .

81They don't speak of the stage of retirement in the golden age.

79Vahā̃ yah mālūm rahtā hai ki hamkō ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lēnā hai .

82There, you are aware that you will shed your body and take another.

80Yahā̃ manuṣhya gurū kartē haĩ mukti mē̃ jānē kē liē .

83Here, people adopts gurus in order to attain liberation.

81Parantu jātā kōī bhī nahī̃ hai .

84However, no one can go there.

82Yah gurū lōg sab bhakti mārg K|kē haĩ .

85All the gurus belong to the path of devotion.

83Śhāstra bhī sabhī bhakti mārg K|kē haĩ .

86All the scriptures belong to the path of devotion too.

84Yah bāp samjhātē haĩ . 85Bāp ēk hī hai , vahī bhagvān hai .

87The Father explains that there is only the one Father and He is God.

86Manuṣhya kō bhagvān kaisē kah saktē .

88How could human beings be called God?

87Yahā̃ tō sabhī kō bhagvān kahtē rahtē haĩ .

89Here, they continue to call everyone God, “Sai Baba is God, I am God, You are God”!

88Sānī bābā bhī bhagvān , ham bhī bhagvān , tum bhī bhagvān .

90They say God is in the pebbles and stones, in everything.

89Patthar bhittar sabmē̃ bhagvān , tō pattharbuddhi ṭhaharē nā .

91So, this means they have stone intellects.

90Tum bhī pahlē pattharbuddhi , narkvāsī thē .

92Previously, you too had stone intellects and were residents of hell.

91Abhī tum hō saṅgamyugī .

93You are now at the confluence age.

92Mahimā sārī saṅgamyug kī hai .

94All the praise is of the confluence age.

93Purūṣhōttam mās manātē haĩ nā . 94Parantu usmē̃ kōī uttam purūṣh bantē nahī̃ .

95People celebrate the month of charity, the month for becoming elevated, but no one becomes an elevated human being in that month.

95Tum abhī manuṣhya sē dēvtā kitnē uttam purūṣh bantē hō .

96You are now becoming deities from human beings; you are becoming such elevated human beings!

96Bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ kalp K|kē saṅgamyugē bhārat kō purūṣhōttam banānē ātā hū̃ .

97The Father says: I come at the confluence age of the cycle to make Bharat elevated.

97Tō yah bhī bachchō̃ kō samjhāyā hai jaisē ātmā bindī hai vaisē parampitā paramātmā bhī bindī hai .

98It is also explained to you children: Just as a soul is a point, so the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is also a point.

98Kahtē haĩ bhrakuṭī kē bīch mē̃ chamaktā hai - azab sitārā .

99It is said: A wonderful star sparkles in the centre of the forehead.

99Ātmā sūkṣhma hai .

100The soul is subtle.

100Unkō buddhi sē jānā jātā hai . 101In āṅkhō̃ sē dēkhā nahī̃ jā saktā .

101It can be realised with the intellect, but cannot be seen with the eyes.

102Divya dr̥iṣhṭi sē dēkh saktē haĩ .

102It can be seen in a divine vision.

103Samjhō kōī tīvr bhakti kartē haĩ , ussē dīdār hōtā hai . 104Parantu unsē milā kyā  ?

103For instance, when someone performs intense devotion, he has a vision, but what did he receive through that?

105Kuchh nahī̃ .

104Nothing at all!

106Dīdār sē sadgati tō hō na sakē .

105There cannot be salvation through visions.

107Sadgati dātā , duḥkh hartā sukh kartā tō ēk hī bāp hai .

106Only the one Father is the Bestower of Salvation and the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.

108Yah duniyā hī vikārī hai .

107This whole world is vicious.

109Sākṣhātkār sē kōī svarg mē̃ nahī̃ jātē .

108No one can go to heaven just by having a vision.

110Śhiv key|kī bhakti key|kī , dīdār huā phir kyā huā  ?

109Someone worshipped Shiva and received a vision, but what happened then?

111Vāpis tō bāp bigar kōī lē nahī̃ jā saktē .

110No one, apart from the Father, can take you back home.

112Yah hai banā banāyā drama .

111This drama is predestined.

113Kahtē haĩ banī banāī ban rahī . . . parantu arth|earth jarā bhī nahī̃ jāntē .

112They say, “That which is predestined is taking place,” but they don't understand the meaning of that at all.

114Ātmā kā bhī gyān nahī̃ hai .

113They don't even have knowledge of souls.

115Vah tō kahtē haĩ har ēk ātmā 84 lākh janma lētī hai . 116Usmē̃ ēk manuṣhya janm durlabh hōtā hai .

114They say that every soul takes 8.4 million births and the one human birth is the most valuable birth within that.

117Parantu aisī kōī bāt hai nahī̃ .

115However, there is nothing like that.

118Manuṣhya kā tō baṛā part chaltā hai .

116Human beings have big parts.

119Manuṣhya hī svargvāsī aur manuṣhya hī narkvāsī bantē haĩ .

117It is human beings who become residents of heaven and human beings who become residents of hell.

120Bhārat hī sabsē ūñch khaṇḍ thā , lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya thā .

118Bharat was the most elevated land when it was the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan.

121Vahā̃ tō bahut thōṛē manuṣhya thē . 122Ēk dharm ēk mat thī .

119There were very few human beings there; there was one religion and one direction.

123Bhārat sārē viśhva kā mālik thā aur kōī dharm nahī̃ thā .

120Bharat was the master of the whole world and there were no other religions.

124Yah hai paṛhāī .

121This is a study.

125Yah kaun paṛhātā hai  ?

122Who is teaching you?

126Bhagvānuvāch ki maĩ tumkō is rājyōg dvārā rājāō̃ kā bhī rājā banātā hū̃ .

123God speaks: Through this Raja Yoga, I make you into kings of kings.

127Bhagvān nē kiskō gītā sunāī .

124To whom did God speak the Gita?

128Gītā sē phir kyā huā  ?

125What happened through the Gita?

129Yah kiskō mālūm nahī̃ hai .

126No one knows this.

130Gītā kē bād hai mahābhārat .

127After the Gita, there is the Mahabharata.

131Gītā mē̃ rājyōg hai .

128Raja Yoga is mentioned in the Gita.

132Bhagvānuvāch māmēkam yād karō tō tumhārē pāp bhasma hōṅgē .

129God speaks: Constantly remember Me alone and your sins will be burnt away.

133Manmanābhav kā arth|earth hī yah hai ki bāp kahtē haĩ tum jō sūryavanśhī pūjya thē , vah phir pujārī śhūdravanśhī ban gayē hō .

130This is the meaning of “Manmanabhav”. 131The Father says: You, who belonged to the sun dynasty and were worthy of worship, have become worshippers and are part of the shudra dynasty.

134Virāṭ rūp kā arth|earth bhī tum bachchē hī jāntē hō .

132Only you children know the meaning of the variety-form image.

135Virāṭ rūp mē̃ jō dikhātē haĩ usmē̃ brāhmaṇō̃ kō gum kar diyā hai .

133They have removed Brahmins from the variety-form image that they show.

136Brāhmaṇ tō bahut gāyē jātē haĩ . 137Prajāpitā brahmā key|kī santān haĩ nā .

134Brahmins are remembered very well; they are the children of Prajapita Brahma.

138Bāp brahmā dvārā hī rachnā rachtē haĩ .

135The Father creates His creation through Brahma.

139Adopt kartē haĩ .

136He adopts you.

140Ab tum hō ūñch brāhmaṇ .

137You are the highest Brahmins.

141Tumkō rachnē vālā hai ūñchē tē ūñchā bhagvān , jō sabkā bāp hai .

138God, the Highest on High, created you. 139He is the Father of all.

142Brahmā kā bhī vah bāp hai .

140He is also the Father of Brahma.

143Sārī rachnā kā vah bāp hai .

141He is the Father of the whole of creation.

144Rachnā hō gaī sab brothers .

142All of the creation are brothers.

145Varsā bāp sē miltā hai , na ki bhāī sē .

143The inheritance is received from the Father, not from brothers.

146Śhiv jayantī bhī manāī jātī hai .

144The birthday of Shiva is celebrated.

147Āj sē 5 hajār varṣh pahlē brahmā tan mē̃ śhivbābā āyā thā . 148Dēvī-dēvtā dharm sthāpan kiyā thā .

145Shiv Baba also entered the body of Brahma 5000 years ago; He established the deity religion.

149Brāhmaṇ hī rājyōg sīkhē thē .

146Only Brahmins studied Raja Yoga.

150Vah tum ab sīkh rahē hō .

147You are now studying it.

151Bhārat pahlē śhivālay thā .

148At first, Bharat was the Temple of Shiva.

152Śhivbābā nē śhivālay ( svarg ) rachā aur bhāratvāsī hī svarg mē̃ rājya kartē thē .

149Shiv Baba created Shivalaya (heaven) and it was only the people of Bharat who used to rule in heaven.

153Ab kahā̃ rājya kartē haĩ  ?

150Where are they ruling now?

154Ab patit duniyā nark hai .

151It is now the impure world of hell.

155Yah kōī samajhtē nahī̃ tō ham narkvāsī haĩ .

152No one understands that they are residents of hell.

156Kahtē haĩ phalānā marā svargvāsī huā tō apnē kō narkvāsī samajhnā chāhiē .

153They say, “So-and-so died and became a resident of heaven.” 154Therefore, they should consider themselves to be residents of hell.

157Bāp kahtē haĩ - mainnē tum bachchō̃ kō svargvāsī banāyā thā jiskō 5 hajār varṣh huē .

155The Father says: I made you children into residents of heaven 5000 years ago.

158Pahlē tum bahut sāhūkār thē , sārē viśhva K|kē mālik thē tō aisā jarūr god nē hī banāyā hōgā .

156At first you were very wealthy and the masters of the whole world, and so it must definitely have been God who made you that.

159Bhagvānuvāch , maĩ tumkō rājāō̃ kā rājā banātā hū̃ tō jarūr rājā bhī banē̃gē tō prajā bhī banē̃gē .

157God speaks: I make you into kings of kings. 158Therefore, subjects as well as kings will surely be created.

160Ādhākalp hai din , svarg , ādhākalp hai rāt , nark .

159For half the cycle, it is the day, heaven, and for the other half, it is the night, hell.

161Ab brahmā tō ēk bār āyēgā nā .

160Brahma would come here once, would he not?

162Bāp hai sabkā rūhānī paṇḍā .

161The Father is everyone's spiritual Guide.

163Vah sabhī kō vāpis lē jātē haĩ .

162He takes everyone back.

164Vahā̃ sē phir mr̥ityulōk mē̃ nahī̃ āyēṅgē .

163You will not return to the land of death from there.

165Andhō̃ kī lāṭhī ēk hī bāp hai .

164Only the one Father is the Stick for the Blind.

166Bāp samjhātē haĩ bachchē is rāvaṇ rājya kā vināśh hōnā hai .

165The Father explains: Children, this kingdom of Ravan is going to be destroyed.

167Yah vahī mahābhārat laṛāī hai .

168Manuṣhya tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ samajhtē .

167People do not understand anything.

169Bhāratvāsī āpēhī pūjya āpēhī pujārī bantē haĩ .

168It is the people of Bharat who become worthy of worship and it is they themselves who become worshippers.

169As they come down the ladder, they go onto the path of sin and become worshippers.

170At first, all of you were worthy of worship and belonged to the sun dynasty. 171Then, there were two degrees less and you became part of the moon dynasty.

172Pahlē-pahlē pūjā hōtī hai śhiv key|kī , uskō avyabhichārī pūjā kahā jātā hai .

172Then, as you continued to come down, you became worshippers. 173First of all, Shiva is worshipped and that is called unadulterated worship.
