¹ «  mīṭhē bachchē - tumhē̃ sadā service K|kē khyālātō̃ mē̃ rahnā hai , gyānī tū ātmā bannā hai , samay vyarth nahī̃ ganvānā hai ' '

²Become a knowledgeable soul.

²Praśhna  : jō gyānvān bachchē haĩ , unkī niśhānī kyā hōgī  ?

³Don't waste your time.

³Uttar  : vē|way sadā service par juṭē rahē̃gē . ⁴Avināśhī gyān ratnō̃ kā dān karnē mē̃ unhē̃ khuśhī hōgī . ⁵Bāp bhī unsē rāzī hōgā .

⁴Question: What are the signs of knowledgeable children?

⁶Vah kab vāhyāt khān-pān ādi K|kē khyālātō̃ mē̃ samay nahī̃ gãvāyēṅgē . ⁷Unkō kabhī rōnā nahī̃ ā saktā .

⁵Answer: They are constantly engaged in doing service. ⁶They experience happiness in donating the imperishable jewels of knowledge.

⁸Unhē̃ kabhī yah ãhakār nahī̃ āyēgā ki phalānē kō hamnē gyān diyā .

⁷The Father is also pleased with them. ⁸They never waste their time with unnecessary food and drink.

⁹Hamēśhā kahē̃gē bābā nē diyā .

⁹They never cry.

¹⁰Gīt  : duḥkhiyō̃ par rahm karō …

¹⁰They are never proud of having given knowledge to someone. ¹¹They always say that Baba gave that knowledge. ¹²Song: Have mercy on those who are unhappy, o Mother and Father of ours!

¹²Yah tō bachchē abhī jāntē haĩ ki bābā nē rahm kiyā thā . ¹³Ab phir kar rahē haĩ .

¹⁴You children now know that Baba had mercy and is once again being merciful.

¹⁴Rahm karnē vālā kaun hai  ?

¹⁵Who is the One who has mercy?

¹⁵Phir bērahmī kaun  ?

¹⁶Then, who would be merciless?

¹⁶Yah barōbar abhī tum hī jāntē hō .

¹⁷You truly know that at this time.

¹⁷Bāp nē rahm kiyā bhārat par arthāt bhārat kō hīrē jaisā banāyā , śhrēṣhṭhāchārī daivī svarājya diyā thā .

¹⁸The Father had mercy for Bharat, that is, He made Bharat like a diamond and gave it the elevated deity sovereignty.

¹⁸Tum ab samajh rahē hō - lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō rājya bhāgya kisnē diyā  ?

¹⁹You now understand who it was who gave the fortune of the kingdom to Lakshmi and Narayan.

¹⁹Jarūr parampitā paramātmā nē rachnā rachī hai .

²⁰Definitely, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, created creation.

²⁰Dēvtāō̃ nē parampitā paramātmā sē varsā liyā hai , yah duniyā nahī̃ jāntī .

²¹The world doesn't know that the deities claimed their inheritance from the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.

²¹Bhāratvāsiyō̃ kō svarājya thā .

²²The people of Bharat had self-sovereignty.

²²Bāp nē rahm kiyā thā , phir rahm māṅgtē haĩ .

²³The Father had mercy for them and so they are asking for it once again.

²³Bērahmī kaun milā jisnē duḥkhī kaṅgāl bhraṣhṭāchārī banāyā  !

²⁴Who was the merciless one you met who made you unhappy, poverty-stricken and corrupt?

²⁴Unkī effigy varṣh-varṣh jalātē rahtē haĩ .

²⁵People continue to burn his effigy every year.

²⁵Is rāvaṇ nē hī duḥkh diyā hai .

²⁶That Ravan caused you sorrow.

²⁶Jō duḥkh dētē haĩ vā taṅg kartē haĩ tō unkā vair lēnē kē liē , unkī insult karnē kē liē effigy banātē haĩ .

²⁷People create an effigy of someone who has caused them sorrow or distress in order to seek revenge and to insult him.

²⁷Bāp kahtē haĩ - yah sab patit haĩ .

²⁸The Father says: All of them are impure.

²⁸Khud kō patit bhī māntē haĩ , phir īśhvar bhī māntē haĩ .

²⁹They consider themselves to be impure, but then they also consider themselves to be God.

²⁹Akhbār mē̃ ḍāltē bhī haĩ ki Christ sē 3 hajār varṣh pahlē bhārat paristān thā .

⁴⁰To cook food, etc. is also doing service. ⁴¹You also definitely receive the fruit of that.

⁴⁰Samajhtē haĩ gyānī tū ātmāō̃ key|kī ham service kartē haĩ .

⁴²Such ones understand that they are serving knowledgeable souls.

⁴¹Sēvā karnē vālē dil par chaṛhtē haĩ . ⁴²Sab mahimā kartē haĩ .

⁴³Those who do service are seated in the heart and everyone praises them.

⁴³Bākī yah jarūr hai - gyānī tū ātmā bāp kō ati priya lagtē haĩ .

⁴⁴It is definite that the Father deeply loves knowledgeable souls.

⁴⁴Iskā matlab yah nahī̃ ki dūsrē priya nahī̃ haĩ .

⁴⁵This doesn't mean that He doesn’t love others.

⁴⁵Sabkī service dikhāī paṛtī hai .

⁴⁶The service that everyone does is visible.

⁴⁶Bābā sē kōī pūchhē - maĩ dil par chaṛhā huā hū̃ tō bābā batā saktē haĩ .

⁴⁷If some ask Baba whether they are seated in Baba's heart, Baba could tell them.

⁴⁷Bākī jō sirph service lētē rahtē haĩ , unkō kyā milēgā  ?

⁴⁸However, what would those who simply continue to take service receive?

⁴⁸Bhal rājdhānī mē̃ āyēṅgē parantu pad tō itnā nahī̃ pāyēṅgē .

⁴⁹Although they will become part of the kingdom, they won't receive a status.

⁴⁹Tum mitr-sambandhiyō̃ key|kī service bhī bahut kar saktē hō .

⁵⁰You can also do a lot of service of your friends and relatives.

⁵⁰Matlab service kā khyāl rakhnā chāhiē .

⁵¹The main thing is that there has to be the concern to do service.

⁵¹Phāltū samay nahī̃ ganvānā chāhiē .

⁵²Don't waste time unnecessarily.

⁵²Unhō̃ kō bābā buddhū kahtē haĩ .

⁵³Baba calls such ones senseless.

⁵³Bābā kitnī achchhī points samjhātē haĩ .

⁵⁴Baba explains such good points to you.

⁵⁴Praśhnāvalī bhī bahut achchhī hai .

⁵⁵The questionnaire is very good.

⁵⁵Jagat ambā hai gyān-gyānēśhvarī .

⁵⁶Jagadamba, the World Mother, is the goddess of knowledge.

⁵⁶Rāj-rājēśhvarī hai lakṣhmī . ⁵⁷Vah hai satyug key|kī .

⁵⁷The empress is Lakshmi; she is the empress of the golden age.

⁵⁸Yah mahimā jagat ambā key|kī is samay kī hai .

⁵⁹You children have to have deep dharna.

⁶⁰Paripakva avasthā chāhiē tab dil par chaṛhē .

⁶¹School mē̃ bhī student number-vār dil par chaṛhtē haĩ .

⁶²Variety hōtē haĩ .

⁶³Yah points samjhānē key|kī bahut achchhī haĩ .

⁶³These are very good points which have to be explained.

⁶⁴Jagat ambā kō dhan lakṣhmī nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

⁶⁴The World Mother cannot be called the goddess of wealth.

⁶⁵Yah hai jagat ambā , inkō god nē knowledge dī hai isliē sarasvatī goddess of knowledge gāī huī hai .

⁶⁵This one is the World Mother who has been given knowledge by God. ⁶⁶Therefore, Saraswati has been remembered as the goddess of knowledge.

⁶⁶Is samay is nāmrūp mē̃ goddess of knowledge hai , jis knowledge sē hī phir pad pāyā hai .

⁶⁷At this time, she is the goddess of knowledge in that name and form, and it was with this knowledge that she attained that status.

⁶⁷Past janm mē̃ knowledge pāī hai , tab lakṣhmī banī .

⁶⁸She had attained knowledge in her past birth and that was how she became Lakshmi.

⁶⁸Lakṣhmī past janm mē̃ jagat ambā thī yah tō bilkul clear rāz hai .

⁶⁹Lakshmi was Jagadamba (the World Mother) in her previous birth.

⁶⁹Past , present , future kyā banē̃gē . ⁷⁰Ēk-ēk bāt baṛī achchhī hai .

⁷⁰The significance of what she becomes in the past, present and future is very clear.

⁷¹Lakṣhmī kaisē 84 janma lētī hai , kahā̃-kahā̃ lētī hai , yah samjhānē key|kī bātē haĩ .

⁷¹Each aspect is very good. ⁷²How Lakshmi takes 84 births and where she takes them, etc. are all things to be explained.

⁷²Samjhānē key|kī khuśhī rahtī hai .

⁷³There is happiness in explaining these things.

⁷³Dān dēnē mē̃ khuśhī hōtī hai nā .

⁷⁴There is also happiness in making donations.

⁷⁴Bāp avināśhī gyān ratnō̃ kā dān dētē haĩ tō phir aurō̃ kō dān dēnē key|kī service karnī chāhiē .

⁷⁵The Father donates the imperishable jewels of knowledge to you, and so you should do the service of donating to others.

⁷⁵Sirph mama bābā K|kē pichhāṛī nahī̃ paṛnā chāhiē .

⁷⁶Don't just run around after Mama and Baba.

⁷⁶Service par lagnā hai tab bābā rāzī hō .

⁷⁷Become engaged in doing service, for only then will Baba be pleased.

⁷⁷Gyānvān service mē̃ juṭā rahēgā .

⁷⁸Knowledgeable ones remain engaged in doing service.

⁷⁸Service mē̃ nahī̃ juṭtē tō unkō buddhū kahē̃gē .

⁷⁹Those who don't become engaged in doing service are said to be senseless.

⁷⁹Vah samajhtē ham bābā key|kī dil par nahī̃ haĩ .

⁸⁰They think that they are not in Baba's heart.

⁸⁰Bahut phāltū khān-pān K|kē khyālāt chaltē haĩ .

⁸¹Sometimes, there are many wasteful thoughts about food and drink.

⁸¹Aim object bāhar mē̃ tō bahut achchhī likhī huī hai .

⁸²The aim and objective has been written very clearly on the board outside.

⁸²Nām likhā huā hai - yah hai patit-pāvan god fatherly university .

⁸³It is written: This is the Godfatherly University of the Purifier.

⁸³Bāp sē 21 janmō̃ kē liē phir sē health , wealth , happiness kā varsā miltā hai .

⁸⁴You are once again receiving the inheritance of health, wealth and happiness for 21 births from the Father.

⁹³Yahā̃ tō board lagā huā hai tō 21 janmō̃ kē liē daivī pad prāpt karnē key|kī śhikṣhā miltī hai .

⁹¹The board that is put up here says: Here, you receive teachings to attain a deity status for 21 births.

⁹⁴Parantu phir bhī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ baiṭhtā hai phir andar ākar pūchhtē haĩ - yahā̃ kā uddēśhya kyā hai  ?

⁹²However, it still doesn't sit in their intellects and so they come in and ask: What is your aim?

⁹⁵Parantu board paṛhtē nahī̃ haĩ jō aim object samajh sakē̃ .

⁹³They don't read the board which would enable them to understand our aim and objective.

⁹⁶Dēkhnā chāhiē nā - kiskā dukān hai . ⁹⁷Parantu kuchh bhī nahī̃ jāntē .

⁹⁴They should see whose shop this is, but they don't know anything.

⁹⁸Ādi dēv kā nām bhī mahāvīr , hanūmān rakh diyā hai . ⁹⁹Parantu yah kaun haĩ , kab hōkar gayē haĩ , jāntē nahī̃ .

⁹⁵They have named Adi Dev, Mahavir and Hanuman, but they don't know who he is or when he exists.

¹⁰⁰Tum bachchō̃ mē̃ samjhānē key|kī himmat chāhiē .

⁹⁶You children need to have courage to explain to others.

¹⁰¹Samjhānē vālē mē̃ hī agar kōī vikār hōgā tō kiskō tīr nahī̃ lagēgā .

⁹⁷If someone who has vices explains, the arrow will not strike anyone.

¹⁰²Agar kiskō tīr lagtā bhī hai tō vah śhivbābā samjhātē haĩ .

⁹⁸If the arrow does strike someone, it is Shiv Baba who explains.

¹⁰³Jinmē̃ kōī avguṇ hai tō unkī samjhānī kiskō lagēgī nahī̃ .

⁹⁹The explanations given by those who have defects will not touch anyone.

¹⁰⁴Vah tō bābā ākar kiskō dr̥iṣhṭi dē , gyān dētē haĩ .

¹⁰⁰It is Baba who comes and gives someone drishti and knowledge.

¹⁰⁵Vah aisē na samajhē mainnē inkō bahut achchhā gyān diyā . ¹⁰⁶Mērē gyān sē inmē̃ parivartan āyā hai .

¹⁰¹No one should think: I gave knowledge to this one so well that he was transformed by the knowledge I gave.

¹⁰⁷Yah bhī ulṭā ahaṅkār hai .

¹⁰²That arrogance is wrong.

¹⁰⁸Jismē̃ rōnē key|kī ādat hai vah kiskō gyān nahī̃ dē saktē .

¹⁰³Those who have the habit of crying are unable to give knowledge to others.

¹⁰⁹Vah tō vidhvā hō gaī .

¹⁰⁴Such a person is like a widow.

¹¹⁰Vah kabhī nahī̃ samajhē ki maĩ kiskō gyān dē saktī hū̃ .

¹⁰⁵She would never think that she should give knowledge to others.

¹¹¹Vah tō bāp unkā kalyāṇ kar dētē haĩ .

¹⁰⁶It is the Father who benefits others.

¹¹²Rōyā tō uskī durgati hai .

¹⁰⁷Those who cry go into degradation.

¹¹³Tum jāntē hō ham harṣhitmukh dēvī-dēvtā bannē vālē haĩ .

¹⁰⁸You know that you are going to become deities who are cheerful.

¹¹⁴Agar rōtē haĩ tō khōṭē karma kiyē huē haĩ , jō dhōkhā dētē haĩ .

¹⁰⁹If you cry, it is because you have performed wrong actions and they deceived you.

¹¹⁵Achchhē-achchhē bhī rōtē haĩ .

¹¹⁰Even good ones cry.

¹¹⁶Phir bābā kō kiskō uṭhānā hai tō khud ākar dr̥iṣhṭi dē dētē haĩ .

¹¹¹Then, when Baba has to uplift someone, He Himself comes and gives drishti.

¹¹⁷Rōtē haĩ tō vidhvā haĩ .

¹¹²Those who cry are widows.

¹¹⁸Yahā̃ kahtē haĩ ham rām K|kē banē haĩ aur phir rōtē haĩ tō gōyā unkā rām mar gayā .

¹¹³On the one hand, you say that you belong to Rama and then you cry, which means that your Rama has died.

¹¹⁹Gōyā rām sē buddhiyōg ṭūṭā huā hai . ¹²⁰Bēmukh hai .

¹¹⁴It means that your intellect's yoga has broken away from Rama, that you have turned away from Him.

¹²¹Avasthā baṛī achchhī chāhiē .

¹¹⁵A very good stage is required.

¹²²Bhal kōī prabhāvit hōtē haĩ parantu vah bābā key|kī tākat sē prabhāvit hōtē haĩ .

¹¹⁶Although someone may be impressed, it is through Baba's power that that person is impressed.

¹²³Bābā jō bōlēgā usmē̃ kōī galatī|galtī nahī̃ hōgī kyōṅki bāp hai hī satya .

¹¹⁷There cannot be any mistakes in whatever Baba says, because the Father is the Truth.

¹²⁴Agar kōī akṣhar nikal bhī gayā tō bigaṛī kō banānē vālā baiṭhā hai .

¹¹⁸If any such words do emerge, the One who corrects anything that is wrong is also sitting here.

¹²⁵Ismē̃ samajhnē key|kī baṛī achchhī buddhi chāhiē .

¹¹⁹A very good intellect is required to understand this.

¹²⁶Bāp tō service par upasthit hai .

¹²⁰The Father is present doing service.

¹²⁷Unkō bachchō̃ key|kī bhī rakhnī hai .

¹²¹He also has to look after the children.

¹²⁸Be|B . K|kē . kahlātē haĩ tō madad bhī kartē haĩ .

¹²²Since you call yourselves BKs, He also helps.

¹²⁹Kōī kōī be|B . K|kē . aur hī nuksān kartē haĩ .

¹²³Some BKs cause a lot of damage.

¹³⁰Bābā bhī jāntē haĩ tō jijñāsū bhī jāntē haĩ .

¹²⁴Baba knows this and the students also know it.

¹³¹Inkī chalan aisī hai , ṭhīk nahī̃ hai , tab likhtē haĩ bābā inkō apnē pās|pass maṅgā lō .

¹²⁵Sometimes, someone’s activities are not good and so they write: Baba, call this one to you.

¹³²Tum bachchō̃ kō tō dadhīchi r̥iṣhi muāphik haḍḍiyā̃ dēnī haĩ .

¹²⁶You children have to give your bones like Dadhichi Rishi did.

¹³³Kōī-kōī tō navāb hōkar chaltē haĩ .

¹²⁷Some move along as though they are a boss.

¹³⁴Bāp samjhātē haĩ - is kamāī mē̃ bhī grahachārī baiṭhtī haĩ , daśhāyē̃ badaltī haĩ .

¹²⁸The Father explains: There are bad omens while earning this income too; the omens continue to change.

¹³⁵Kab brahaspati key|kī , kab chakra key|kī , kab maṅgal key|kī , kab rāhū key|kī . ¹³⁶Phir ēkdam chaknāchūr hō jātē haĩ .

¹²⁹Sometimes there are the omens of Jupiter, sometimes auspicious omens, sometimes other types of bad omen.

¹³⁷Bābā bahut achchhī-achchhī points samjhātē haĩ .

¹³⁰Then, they are completely crushed. ¹³¹Baba explains very many good points.

¹³⁸Bōlō , āp tō baṛē achchhē buddhivān paṛhē likhē hō .

¹³²Tell them: You are very intelligent and well educated.

¹³⁹Board par tō pūrī aim-object likhī huī hai .

¹³³The full aim and objective is written clearly on the board.

¹⁴⁰Aim-object kō jab samajhē̃ tab us rūhāb sē andar āyē̃ .

¹³⁴Only when they understand the aim and objective would they come inside with that intoxication.

¹⁴¹Likhā huā hai god father sē varsā miltā hai - 21 janm aur 2500 varṣhō̃ kē liē . ¹⁴²Sūryavanśhī aur chandravanśhī rājdhānī .

¹³⁵It is written that you receive this inheritance of the sun and moon-dynasty kingdoms from God, the Father, for 21 births, for 2500 years.

¹⁴³Kōī tō achchhī rīti samajhē̃gē kyōṅki number-vār grāhak haĩ nā .

¹³⁶Some understand very well because customers are numberwise.

¹⁴⁴Yah sab śhivbābā key|kī dukān hai .

¹³⁷All of these are Shiv Baba's shops.

¹⁴⁵Sēṭh ēk hai .

¹³⁸The Owner is only One.

¹⁴⁶Yah dukān tō hajārō̃ lākhō̃ key|kī andāj mē̃ nikalē̃gē .

¹³⁹There will be hundreds of thousands of these shops.

¹⁴⁷Sannyāsiyō̃ K|kē kitnē dukān haĩ , vilāyat mē̃ bhī haĩ .

¹⁴⁰Sannyasis have so many shops. ¹⁴¹They even have shops abroad.

¹⁴⁸Vilāyat vālē samajhtē haĩ ki bhārat kā prāchīn yōg aur gyān sannyāsī hī dētē hōṅgē .

¹⁴²People abroad believe that only the sannyasis give knowledge and teach the ancient yoga of Bharat.

¹⁴⁹Parantu nahī̃ , yah tō bāp hī dētē haĩ .

¹⁴³However, this is not so; only the Father gives this.

¹⁵⁰Manuṣhya kōī bhī yah gyān dē na sakē̃ . ¹⁵¹Parantu sirph dēnē vālē bāp kā nām badal bachchē kā nām rakh diyā hai .

¹⁴⁴No human being can give this knowledge, for they removed the name of the One who gave it and put the name of the child instead.

¹⁵²Tum siddh kar batāyēṅgē - ki heaven sthāpan karnē vālā god father hī baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

¹⁴⁵You prove that only God, the Father, who establishes heaven, explains this.

¹⁵³Pope kō bhī likhtē haĩ - bhārat key|kī yātrā par āyē parantu is yātrā kō pūrā samjhā nahī̃ .

¹⁴⁶Someone wrote to the Pope: You went to Bharat on a pilgrimage, but you didn't understand this pilgrimage properly.

¹⁵⁴Ab kahō tō tumhārē pās|pass kiskō bhēj dē̃ .

¹⁴⁷Now, if you say so, we can send someone to you.

¹⁵⁵Yahā̃ tō vō lōg ā na sakē̃ . ¹⁵⁶Position bahut rahtā hai .

¹⁴⁸Those people would not come here because they are very concerned about their positions.

¹⁵⁷Yahā̃ tō garīb āyēṅgē .

¹⁴⁹The poor ones come here.

¹⁹⁶Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā number-vār puruṣhārth anusār yād-pyār aur guḍ-mārniṅg .

¹⁸⁷To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, numberwise, according to your efforts, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

²¹¹For this stage of being immersed in love, devotees have said that the soul merges with the Supreme Soul. ²¹²So, come, let us all experience being immersed in love for the whole month. ²¹³With this aim, we are adding a special point to be merged in love at the end of each day’s murli for this month. ²¹⁴You may have 10 minutes yoga on this point at the end of murli class daily.

²¹⁵Experience the stage of being merged in love.
