Question
2Praśhna : bāpdādā kō kin bachchō̃ key|kī sadā talāś rahtī hai ?
4Question: What type of children is BapDada always on the lookout for?
Answer
3Uttar : jō bahut-bahut mīṭhē śhītal svabhāv vālē serviceable bachchē haĩ .
5Answer: The Father is always on the lookout for children who are extremely sweet with cool natures and who are serviceable. 6Only serviceable children will glorify the Father's name.
4Aisē bachchō̃ key|kī bāp kō talāś rahtī hai . 5Serviceable bachchē hī bāp kā nām bālā karē̃gē . 6Jitnā bāp kā madadgār bantē haĩ , āgyākārī , vaphādār haĩ , utnā vah varsē K|kē hakdār bantē haĩ .
7To the extent that you become a helper of the Father and are obedient and trustworthy, so you accordingly claim a right to the inheritance.
Song
7Gīt : ōm namō śhivāē …
8Song: Salutations to Shiva!
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
9Om shanti.
9Ōm kā arth|earth kisnē batāyā ?
10Who has explained the meaning of “Om”?
10Bāp nē .
11The Father.
11Jab bābā kahā jātā hai tō uskā nām jarūr chāhiē .
12Since you call Him, “Baba”, He must definitely have a name.
12Sākār hō vā nirākār hō , nām jarūr chāhiē .
13Whether He is corporeal or incorporeal, He must definitely have a name.
13Aur jō ātmāyē̃ haĩ un par kabhī nām nahī̃ paṛtā .
14Other souls can never be given names.
14Ātmā jab jīv ātmā bantī hai tab śharīr par nām paṛtā hai .
15Names are given to bodies when souls become human beings.
15Brahmā dēvtāē namaḥ kahtē , viṣhṇu kō bhī dēvtā kahtē kyōṅki ākārī haĩ tō ākārī śharīr kā nām paṛā .
16It is said: Salutations to the deity Brahma. 17Vishnu is also said to be a deity, because those who have subtle forms or subtle bodies are also given names.
16Nām hamēśhā śharīr par paṛtā hai .
18A name is always given to a body.
17Sirph ēk nirākār parampitā paramātmā hai , jiskā nām śhiv hai .
19Only the incorporeal Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is given the name Shiva.
18Ēk hī is ātmā kā nām hai , bākī sabkā dēh par nām paṛtā hai .
20Only His soul is given a name; all others are only given names for their bodies.
19Śharīr chhōṛā tō phir nām badal jāyēgā . 20Paramātmā kā ēk hī nām chaltā hai , kabhī badaltā nahī̃ .
21Once a soul sheds a body, the name changes, but God, the Supreme Soul, is only given one name and that never changes.
21Issē siddha hōtā hai ki vah kabhī janm-maraṇ mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hai .
22This proves that He does not enter birth and death.
22Agar khud janm-maraṇ mē̃ āvē tō aurō̃ kō janm-maraṇ sē chhuṛā na sakē .
23If He were to enter into the cycle of birth and death, He would not be able to liberate others from rebirth.
23Amarlōk mē̃ kabhī janm-maraṇ nahī̃ kahā jātā . 24Vahā̃ tō baṛī sahaj rīti sē ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lētē haĩ .
24The expression, ‘birth and death’ is not used in the land of immortality, because everyone there easily sheds a body and takes the next.
25Marnā yahā̃ hai .
25The word ‘death’ is only used here.
26Satyug mē̃ aisē nahī̃ kahtē ki phalānā mar gayā .
26In the golden age, it would not be said that such and such a person has died.
27Marnā śhabda duḥkh kā hai .
27The word ‘death’ implies sorrow.
28Vahā̃ tō purānā śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā kiśhōr avasthā kā śharīr lē lētē haĩ . 29Khuśhī manātē haĩ .
28There, having shed an old body, a soul would then take a young body and they celebrate that in happiness.
30Purānī duniyā mē̃ kitnē manuṣhya haĩ , yah sab khatm hōnē vālē haĩ .
29There are so many humans in the old world; they are all to be finished.
31Dikhātē haĩ yādav aur kaurav thē , laṛāī mē̃ vah khatm hō gayē tō kyā pāṇḍavō̃ kō rañj huā hōgā ?
30It is shown that there were the Yadavas and the Kauravas and that they were destroyed in the war. 31So, would the Pandavas have experienced sorrow?
32Nahī̃ . 33Pāṇḍavō̃ kā tō rājya sthāpan huā .
32No; the kingdom of the Pandavas was established.
34Is samay tum hō brahmā vãnśhī brāhmaṇ , brahmākumār aur kumāriyā̃ .
33At present, you are the clan of Brahma, Brahmins, Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
35Brahmā kō itnē bachchē haĩ tō jarūr prajāpitā ṭhaharā|ṭhahrā .
34Brahma has so many children. 35So, he must surely be the Father of People.
36Brahmā viṣhṇu śhaṅkar kā bāp hai śhiv .
36Shiva is the Father of Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar.
37Unkō hī bhagvān kahā jātā hai .
37He alone is called God.
38Is samay tum jāntē hō ki ham īśhvarīy kul K|kē haĩ .
38You know that we now belong to the clan of God.
39Ham bābā kē sāth , bābā K|kē ghar nirvāṇdhām mē̃ jānē vālē haĩ .
39We are to return with Baba to Baba's home, to the land of nirvana.
40Bābā āyā huā hai , unkō sājan bhī kahā jātā hai .
40Baba has now come. 41He is also called the Bridegroom.
41Parantu accurate sambandh mē̃ vah bāp hai kyōṅki varsā sajaniyō̃ kō nahī̃ miltā hai .
42However, the accurate relationship with Him is that of the Father, because brides do not receive an inheritance.
42Varsā bachchē lētē haĩ tō bāp kahnā right hai .
43Children claim an inheritance, and so it is right to call Him, “Father”.
43Bāp kō bhūl jānē sē hī manuṣhya nāstik banē haĩ .
44By forgetting the Father, people have become atheists.
44Kr̥iṣhṇa K|kē charitra gāyē jātē haĩ . 45Parantu kr̥iṣhṇa kā charitra tō kōī hai nahī̃ .
45Krishna's activities are remembered, but those are not significant activities.
46Bhāgavat mē̃ kr̥iṣhṇa K|kē charitra haĩ lēkin charitra hōnā chāhiē - śhivbābā kā . 47Vah bhī bāp , teacher , satgurū hai , ismē̃ charitra key|kī kyā bāt hai .
46The divine activities of Krishna are mentioned in the Bhagawad, whereas they should in fact be the divine activities of Shiv Baba.
48Kr̥iṣhṇa K|kē bhī charitra nahī̃ haĩ . 49Vah bhī bachchā hai . 50Jaisē chhōṭē bachchē hōtē haĩ .
47Since He is the Father, the Teacher and the Satguru, there is no question of playful activities in this.
51Bachchē hamēśhā chañchal hōtē haĩ , tō sabhī kō pyārē lagtē haĩ . 52Kr̥iṣhṇa kē liē jō dikhātē haĩ ki maṭkī phōṛī , aisā tō kuchh bhī hai nahī̃ .
48Even Shri Krishna does not have such mischievous activity; he is a little child and little children are always mischievous and they are loved by everyone.
53Śhivbābā kā kyā charitra hai ? 54Vah tō tum dēkhtē hō ki paṛhākar patit sē pāvan banātē haĩ .
49They have made out that Krishna broke a pitcher, but it was not like that.
55Kahtē haĩ bhakti mārg mē̃ maĩ tumhārī bhāvnā pūrī kartā hū̃ .
50You now see what Shiv Baba's activities are. 51He teaches you and makes you pure from impure.
56Bākī yahā̃ tō maĩ paṛhātā hū̃ . 57Is samay jō mērē bachchē haĩ , vahī mujhē yād kartē haĩ .
52He says: On the path of devotion, I fulfil your feelings and desires of devotion, whereas here, I teach you.
58Aur sabkī yād kō bhūl ēk bāp kī yād mē̃ rahnē kā prayatna kartē haĩ . 59Aisē nahī̃ ki maĩ sarvavyāpī hū̃ .
53At this time, only those who are My children remember Me. 54They forget everyone else and try to remember the one Father alone.
60Mujhē jō yād kartē haĩ , maĩ bhī unkō yād kartā hū̃ .
55It isn't that I am omnipresent. 56I remember those who remember Me.
61Sō bhī yād tō bachchō̃ kō hī karē̃gē .
57It is the children who are remembered.
62Mukhya bāt tō ēk hai .
58There is one main aspect.
63Bahādur tō kisī kō tab kahē̃gē jab kōī baṛē ādmī kō samjhākar dikhāō .
59You have to be courageous when you explain to an important person to make him understand.
64Sārā madār hai gītā par .
60Everything depends on the Gita.
65Gītā nirākār parampitā paramātmā key|kī gāī huī hai , na ki manuṣhyō̃ key|kī .
61The Gita is sung by the incorporeal Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, not by a human being.
66Bhagvān kō rūdra bhī kahā jātā hai . 67Kr̥iṣhṇa kō rūdra nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
62God is also known as Rudra, but Shri Krishna is not called Rudra.
68Rūdra gyān yagya sē hī vināśh jvālā nikalī hai . 69Kaī lōg paramātmā kō mālik kahkar yād kartē haĩ .
63The flames of destruction emerge from the sacrificial fire of the knowledge of Rudra.
70Kahtē haĩ us mālik kā nām nahī̃ hai .
64Many people remember God as the Master.
71Achchhā bhalā vah mālik kahā̃ hai ?
65They say that that Master does not have a name.
72Kyā vah viśhva kā , sārī sr̥iṣhṭi kā mālik hai ?
66Achcha, where is that Master? 67Is He the Master of the whole world?
73Parampitā paramātmā tō sr̥iṣhṭi kā mālik nahī̃ bantā hai , sr̥iṣhṭi kā mālik tō dēvī-dēvtā bantē haĩ .
68The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is not the Master of the whole world. 69It is the deities who become the masters of the world.
74Parampitā paramātmā tō brahmāṇḍ kā mālik hai .
70The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Master of Brahmand.
75Brahm tatva bāp kā ghar tō ham bachchō̃ kā bhī ghar hai .
71Brahmand is the home of the Father, and therefore the home of the children as well.
76Brahmāṇḍ hai bāp kā ghar , jahā̃ ātmāyē̃ aṇḍē misal dikhātē haĩ .
72Brahmand is the Father's home where we souls live as oval-shaped forms.
77Aisē kōī haĩ nahī̃ .
73It is not really like that.
78Ham ātmāyē̃ jyōtirbindu vahā̃ nivās kartī haĩ , phir brahmāṇḍ sē ham nīchē utartē haĩ part bajānē kē liē , ham ēk-dō K|kē pichhāṛī ātē rahtē haĩ .
74We souls live there like dots of light. 75We then come down from Brahmand to play our parts. 76Souls come down one after another and the tree continues to grow.
79Jhāḍ vr̥iddhi kō pātā rahtā hai .
77Baba is the Seed.
80Bābā hai bījrūp , foundation dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kā kahē̃ vā brāhmaṇō̃ kā kahē̃ .
78Should this be called the foundation of the deities or the foundation of the Brahmins?
81Brāhmaṇ bīj ḍāltē haĩ . 82Brāhmaṇ hī phir dēvtā ban rājya kartē haĩ .
79Brahmins sow seeds and it is the Brahmins who later become deities and rule the kingdom.
83Ab hamārē dvārā śhiv-bābā foundation lagā rahē haĩ .
80Shiv Baba is now laying the foundation through us.
84Deityism arthāt svarg kā foundation lag rahā hai .
81We are laying the foundation of deityism, that is, of heaven.
85Jitnā jō madadgār banē̃gē utnā vah apnā hissā lē̃gē .
82To whatever extent you become helpers, so you accordingly claim your share.
86Nahī̃ tō sūryavanśhī kaisē banē̃ !
83How else could you become part of the sun dynasty?
87Abhī tum vah ūñch prālabdh banā rahē hō .
84You are now creating that elevated reward.
88Har ēk manuṣhya puruṣhārth sē prālabdh banātē rahtē haĩ .
85Each one of you creates your reward with your own efforts.
89Prālabdh banānē liē achchhā kām kiyā jātā hai .
86In order to create your reward, you have to perform good actions.
90Dān-puṇya karnā , dharmaśhālā ādi banānā . 91Sab īśhvar arth|earth hī kartē haĩ kyōṅki unkā phal dēnē vālā vah hai .
87They give donations and perform charity and also build pilgrim rest houses in God's name, because it is He who gives the fruit of all of that.
92Tum ab śhrīmat par puruṣhārth kar rahē hō . 93Bākī sārī duniyā manuṣhya mat par puruṣhārth kar rahī hai .
88You are now making effort on the basis of shrimat, whereas all the rest of the world make effort on the basis of human directions.
94Sō bhī āsurī mat hai .
89Those are devilish instructions.
95Īśhvarīy mat kē bād hai daivī mat , phir hō jātī hai āsurī mat .
90After Godly directions, deity directions come and then devilish directions.
96Ab tum bachchō̃ kō īśhvarīy mat miltī hai .
91You children now receive Godly directions.
97Bābā mama bhī unkī mat sē śhrēṣhṭh bantē haĩ .
92Baba and Mama become elevated through His directions.
98Kōī manuṣhya dēvtāō̃ jaisē śhrēṣhṭh hō hī nahī̃ saktē .
93No human being can be as elevated as a deity. 94Who makes the deities so elevated?
99Dēvtāō̃ kō śhrēṣhṭh banānē vālā kaun ?
95No one here is elevated. 96Shri Shri is only the One.
100Yahā̃ tō kōī śhrēṣhṭh hai nahī̃ .
97He alone is the most elevated Father, Teacher and Guru.
101Śhrī śhrī hai hī ēk vahī sabsē ūñch tē ūñch bāp , teacher , satgurū hai .
98He is the one who creates Shri Lakshmi and Shri Narayan.
102Vahī phir śhrī lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ banātē haĩ . 103Bhal rām kō bhī kahtē haĩ śhrī sītā , śhrī rām .
99Rama and Sita are also called Shri Rama and Shri Sita, but after their title ‘moon dynasty warriors’ is added.
104Parantu unkē pichhāṛī add hō jātā hai kṣhatriya , chandravanśhī .
100Lakshmi and Narayan are 16 celestial degrees full; they belong to the sun dynasty.
105Vah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ tō 16 kalā sampūrṇ sūryavanśhī dēvtā kul huā aur rām-sītā 14 kalā chandravanśhī . 106Dō kalā kam huī hai nā .
101Their clan is the deity clan, whereas Rama and Sita are 14 celestial degrees; they belong to the moon dynasty, and so they are two degrees less.
107Sō tō hōnā hī hai jarūr .
102However, this is inevitable.
108Manuṣhya yah nahī̃ jāntē haĩ ki sr̥iṣhṭi key|kī girtī kalā hōtī hai .
103People do not know how the world goes into the stage of descent.
10916 kalā sē 14 kalā huī tō degrade huī nā .
104It comes down from 16 celestial degrees to 14, and so it becomes degraded.
110Is samay tō bilkul degrade hai .
105At this time, it is totally degraded.
111Yah hai rāvaṇ sampradāy .
106This is the community of Ravan.
112Rāvaṇ rājya hai nā .
107This is the kingdom of Ravan.
113Rāvaṇ mat kō kahā jātā hai āsurī mat .
108The dictates of Ravan are called devilish directions.
114Sab patit haĩ .
109Everyone is impure.
115Pāvan kōī is patit duniyā mē̃ nahī̃ hō saktā .
110There cannot be anyone pure in this impure world.
116Bhāratvāsī jō pāvan thē vahī phir patit banē haĩ phir unhō̃ kō hī maĩ ākar pāvan banātā hū̃ .
111The residents of Bharat were pure and they have now become impure. 112I come and purify them once again.
117Patit-pāvan kr̥iṣhṇa nahī̃ gāyā jātā hai . 118Na charitra key|kī bāt hai .
113Krishna is not remembered as the Purifier, and so there is no question of his activity being remembered.
119Patit-pāvan ēk paramātmā kō hī kahē̃gē .
114Only the one Supreme Soul is called the Purifier.
120Pichhāṛī mē̃ sab kahē̃gē ahō prabhu āpkī gat mat nyārī .
115At the end, everyone will say: O God, Your instructions and destination are unique.
121Āpkī rachnā kō kōī nahī̃ jāntē .
116No one else knows of Your creation.
122Sō tō ab tum jān gayē hō .
117However, you have now come to understand it.
123Yah gyān hai bilkul nayā .
118This knowledge is absolutely new.
124Naī chīz jab nikaltī hai tō pahlē thōṛī hōtī hai phir baṛhtī jātī hai .
119When something new emerges, it is very rare but it later increases.
125Tum bhī pahlē ēk kōnē mē̃ paṛē thē . 126Ab dēśh-dēśhāntar vr̥iddhi kō pātē rahē̃gē . 127Rājdhānī sthāpan jarūr hōnī hai .
120So, to begin with, you too were only in one corner, but expansion will now take place in one country after another and the kingdom will definitely be established.
128Mūl bāt tō yah siddh karnī hai ki gītā kā bhagvān śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa nahī̃ hai .
121The main aspect to be proved is that Shri Krishna is not the God of the Gita.
129Varsā bāp dēgē , kr̥iṣhṇa nahī̃ .
122The inheritance is given by the Father, not by Shri Krishna.
130Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ bhī apnē bachchō̃ kō varsā dēgē . 131Vah bhī yahā̃ K|kē purūṣhārth key|kī prālabdh miltī hai .
123Lakshmi and Narayan would only give an inheritance to their own children and that would be the reward of the efforts they made now.
132Satyug , trētā mē̃ bēhad kā varsā hai .
124There is the unlimited inheritance of the golden and silver ages.
133Golden , silver jubilee manātē haĩ .
125People celebrate golden and silver jubilees.
134Yahā̃ tō ēk din manātē haĩ . 135Ham tō 1250 varṣh golden jubilee manātē haĩ .
126Here, they just celebrate for one day, whereas we celebrate the golden jubilee for 1250 years.
136Khuśhiyā̃ manātē haĩ nā . 137Mālāmāl ban jātē haĩ .
127We celebrate in happiness and become full of treasures.
138Tō yah andar mē̃ baṛī khuśhī rahtī hai .
128So, there is this internal happiness.
139Aisē nahī̃ ki sirph bāhar sē battiyā̃ ādi jalātē haĩ .
129It isn't that there is external decoration with lights etc.
140Svarg mē̃ ham bilkul sampattivān , bahut sukhī hō jātē haĩ .
130In heaven, we are very prosperous and very happy.
141Dēvtā dharm jaisā sukhī aur kōī hōtā nahī̃ .
131No one is as happy as those who belong to the deity religion.
142Phir silver jubilee ādi kō bhī pūrā samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
132People do not fully understand this silver jubilee etc.
143Abhī tum ādhākalp key|kī jubilee manānē kē liē bāp sē varsā pā rahē hō .
133You are now claiming the inheritance from the Father in order to celebrate jubilees for half the cycle.
144Tō mukhya bāt yah samajhnē kī hai ki gītā kā bhagvān śhiv hai .
134So, you have to understand this main aspect: Shiva is the God of the Gita.
145Usnē hī rājyōg sikhlāyā thā , sō phir sē ab sikhlā rahē haĩ .
135He was the One who taught Raja Yoga, and so He is now teaching it once again.
146Sikhlātē bhī tab haĩ jab rājāī hai nahī̃ .
136He teaches this when the kingdoms no longer exist.
147Prajā kā prajā par rājya hai . 148Ēk dō key|kī ṭōpī utārnē mē̃ dērī nahī̃ kartē haĩ .
137People now rule over people and they don't take long to take away one another's titles!
149Tum bachchē unkī mat par chalnē sē sukhdhām K|kē mālik banē̃gē .
138By following His directions, you children will become the masters of the land of happiness.
150Aisē bahut haĩ jō gyān kō pūrā dhāraṇ nahī̃ kartē , parantu centre par ātē rahtē haĩ .
139There are many who are not able to imbibe knowledge fully but who continue to go to a centre.
151Andar dil bitt-bitta kartī ki ēk bachchā paidā kar dē̃ . 152Māyā key|kī temptation hōtī hai ki śhādī kar ēk bachchē kā sukh lē lēvē̃ .
140They have the desire in their hearts to have a child; there is the temptation of Maya for them to get married and have the happiness of having a child.
153Arē guarantee thōṛēhī hai ki bachchā sukh hī dēgā .
141However, there is no guarantee that the child will give happiness.
154Dō chār varṣh mē̃ bachchā mar jāyē tō aur hī duḥkhī hō paṛē̃gē .
142If their child dies after two or four years, they experience even more sorrow.
155Āj śhādmānā kartē haĩ kal chitā par chaṛhtē tō rōnā pīṭnā paṛtā hai .
143Today, they celebrate but tomorrow, when it is put on the pyre, they weep and wail.
156Yah hai hī duḥkhdhām .
144This is the land of sorrow.
157Dēkhō , khānā bhī kaisā khātē haĩ !
145Just look at what kind of food they eat!
158Tō bāp samjhātē haĩ ki bachchē aisī āśhāyē̃ nahī̃ rakhō .
146This is why the Father explains: Children, do not have such desires.
159Māyā baṛā tūphān mē̃ lē āyēgī . 160Jhaṭ vikār mē̃ girā dēgī . 161Phir ānē mē̃ bhī lajjā āyēgī .
147Maya will bring you many storms; she will instantly make you indulge in vice and you will then feel too ashamed to come here.
162Sab kahē̃gē kul kō kalaṅkit kiyā hai tō varsā kyā lē̃gē .
148Everyone would say that you have defamed the family. 149Then, what inheritance would you claim?
163Bābā mama kahtē hō tō brahmākumār kumāriyā̃ āpas mē̃ hō gayē bhāī-bahan .
