Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - tum rūhānī aśhva hō , tumhē̃ vijayī ratna bannē key|kī race karnī hai , mahārathī aśhva vah jō rājāī pānē key|kī race karē̃ ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, you are spiritual horses. 2You have to run the race to become victorious jewels. 3Maharathi horses are those who race to claim the kingdom.

Question

2Praśhna  : tum bachchō̃ mē̃ satōpradhān purūṣhārthī kaun aur tamō purūṣhārthī kaun  ?

4Question: Which of you children are satopradhan effort-makers and which are tamo effort-makers?

Answer

3Uttar  : satōpradhān purūṣhārthī vah jō rachayitā aur rachnā kō jānkar purūṣhārth kartē haĩ . 4Jinkī buddhi mē̃ sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi-madhy-ant key|kī knowledge ghūmtī rahtī hai , jinhē̃ bāp kī yād kā śhuddha ahaṅkār hai aur tamō purūṣhārthī vah jō kahtē kalp pahlē jaisā purūṣhārth kiyā hōgā vaisā kar lē̃gē . 5Jō milnā hōgā vah mil jāyēgā .

5Answer: Satopradhan effort-makers are those who make effort knowing the Creator and creation, who have the knowledge of the beginning, the middle and the end of the world turning around in their intellects and who have the pure pride of having remembrance of the Father. 6Tamo effort-makers are those who say: We will make effort exactly as we did a cycle ago; we will receive whatever we are to receive.

Song

6Gīt  : duḥkhiyō̃ par kuchh rahm karō mā̃ bāp hamārē …

7Song: O Mother, Father, have mercy on those who are unhappy!

Murli

7Ōm śhānti .

8Om shanti.

8Jab yahā̃ baiṭhtē haĩ tō jitnā hō sakē bāp kī yād mē̃ rahnā hai .

9While sitting here, stay in remembrance of the Father for as long as possible.

9Kal bhī samjhāyā ki sārā kalp tum dēh-abhimānī rahtē hō .

10It was explained yesterday that you have been body conscious for the whole cycle.

10Is samay hī ēk bār dēhī-abhimānī bannā paṛtā hai .

11Only at this one time do you have to become soul conscious.

11Dēh-abhimān chhōṛ vāpis chalnā hai .

12You have to shed body consciousness and return home.

12Yah kapṛē athavā tan bahut purānē hō gayē haĩ .

13Those clothes, that is, those bodies, have become very old.

13Yah dēh kā aśhuddha ahaṅkār chhōṛnā hai . 14Bāp kō yād karnā hai .

14You have to shed the impure arrogance of your bodies and remember the Father.

15Bāp kō yād tō kartē haĩ parantu patā nahī̃ ki hamārā bāp kaun hai .

15People remember the Father but they do not know who the Father is.

16Kah dētē haĩ bāp sarvavyāpī hai phir tō pukār bhī na sakē̃ . 17Gātē tō haĩ nā ki ō god father .

16They say that the Father is omnipresent. 17In that case, they cannot call out to Him, but they do call out: O God the Father!

18Jab kisī kō duḥkh hōtā hai tō god kō yād kartē haĩ . 19Buddhi ūpar chalī jātī hai .

18When people experience sorrow, they remember God; their intellects go upwards.

20Agar bhakta hī bhagvān hō phir tō bhagvān kō yād karnē key|kī darkār hī na paṛē . 21Na aisā kahnā paṛē ki hē bhagvān ham duḥkhī kaṅgāl haĩ .

19If the devotees were God, there would then be no need to remember God; nor would they have to say: O God, we are unhappy and poverty stricken!

22Bhakti mārg mē̃ hai duḥkh , isliē bhagvān kō yād kartē haĩ .

20There is sorrow on the path of devotion; this is why they remember God.

23Maĩ bachchō̃ kō sukh dēkar jātā hū̃ , tō us sukh kō sabhī yād kartē haĩ .

21I go back after giving happiness to the children, and everyone remembers that happiness.

24Avināśhī bāp , avināśhī sukh dē jātē haĩ .

22The imperishable Father goes back after giving imperishable happiness.

25Ab tum bachchō̃ kā tīsrā nētra gyān kā khulā hai , jissē bāp rachayitā aur uskī rachnā K|kē ādi madhya ant kō achchhī rīti jān chukē haĩ .

23The third eye of knowledge of each of you children has now opened, through which you understand very well the Father, the Creator, and the beginning, middle and end of His creation.

26Kal jō ghar mē̃ gītā paṛhtē thē , us gītā sē rachtā aur rachnā kā knowledge nahī̃ miltā thā aur hī rachnā kō bhūl gayē .

24The Gita you read in your home yesterday did not give you the knowledge of the Creator or His creation; rather, you forgot the Creator.

27Rachtā kō bhūlē tō rachnā kō bhī bhūlē .

25You forgot the Creator and so you forgot the creation.

28Bāp tīsrā nētra gyān kā dēkar samjhātē haĩ , rājyōg sikhlātē haĩ jissē tum svarg K|kē mālik banē̃gē .

26The Father now gives each of you a third eye of knowledge and He explains to you and also teaches you Raja Yoga, through which you become the masters of heaven.

29Gītā paṛhnē sē kōī svarg key|kī yād nahī̃ ā saktī .

27Heaven cannot be remembered by studying the Gita.

30Kitnē lecture kartē haĩ .

28They give many lectures.

31Ab tum bāp sē direct suntē hō . 32Tō rāt din kā fark feel hōtā hai .

29You are now listening to the Father directly and the difference you feel is like that of day and night.

33Usmē̃ tō rachtā aur rachnā kō hī bhūl jātē haĩ .

30There, people forget the Creator and His creation.

34Abhī bābā nē rachtā aur rachnā kā rāz baiṭh samjhāyā hai aur barōbar purūṣhārth bhī kartē haĩ varsā lēnē kā .

31Baba now sits here and explains the significance of the Creator and His creation, and you definitely make effort to claim the inheritance.

35Phir kiskā purūṣhārth satōpradhān hai kiskā rajō , kiskā tamō hōtā hai .

32Some make satopradhan effort, whilst some make rajo effort and others tamo.

36Uttam , madhyam , kaniṣhṭ purūṣhārthī haĩ .

33There are the highest, middling and lowest effort-makers.

37Bachchē jāntē haĩ ki hamārē puruṣhārth sē itnī ūñch prālabdh banē̃gī , tō kyō̃ nahī̃ aisā puruṣhārth karnā chāhiē .

34You children understand that by making effort you will claim a high status. 35So, why should you not make such effort?

38Khud bhī samajhtē haĩ ki abhī ham achchhā puruṣhārth karē̃gē tō kalp-kalp aisā hī hamārā puruṣhārth hōgā .

36Each one of you understands that, if you make good effort now, every cycle your effort would then be the same.

39Agar nahī̃ kartē haĩ tō samajh mē̃ ātā hai kalp pahlē bhī usnē puruṣhārth nahī̃ kiyā hai tō pad bhraṣhṭa hō jāyēgā . 40Aśhva dauṛātē haĩ nā .

37If someone doesn't make effort, it is understood that he did not make effort in the last cycle and that his status was destroyed.

41Race mē̃ ghōṛē dauṛ hōtī hai .

38People have horse races.

42Kahtē haĩ ki phalānē nē win kiyā .

39They say: This one won the race.

43Yahā̃ bhī number-vār haĩ .

40Here, too, all are numberwise.

44Kōī tō aisē bhī haĩ jō kahtē haĩ ham jāstī kuchh samajhnē nahī̃ chāhtē haĩ .

41Here, there are some who say: We don't want to understand a great deal.

45Na samajh saktē haĩ na kisī kō samjhāyēṅgē .

42Some don’t understand, nor can they explain to others.

46Unhō̃ kē liē phir sahaj yukti hai tō sirph bāp kō yād karnā hai . 47Yād karnā sīkhē̃gē ki vah bhī nahī̃ .

43For them, there is an easy method: just remember the Father. 44Will you learn to remember Baba, or will you not even learn that?

48Bēhad kā bāp jiskō tum bhakti mārg mē̃ yād kartē hō , vah bāp ab sammukh brahmā K|kē tan sē kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō .

45The unlimited Father, whom you remembered on the path of devotion, is now in front of you in the body of Brahma and is saying: Remember Me!

49Bābā nē rachnā kā rāz bhī samjhāyā hai .

46Baba has also explained the significance of creation.

50Śhivbābā tō sabhī ātmāō̃ kā bāp hai .

47Shiv Baba is the Father of all souls.

51Kōī bhī ātmā kō prajāpitā nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

48No other soul can be called Prajapita (Father of people).

52Ātmāyē̃ tō anādi haĩ .

49All souls are eternal.

53Prajāpitā brahmā rachtā hai - mukh vaṅśhāvalī .

50Prajapita Brahma creates the mouth-born progeny.

54Ham ātmāyē̃ tō haĩ śhivbābā key|kī santān .

51We souls are Shiv Baba's children. 52He says: You are Mine!

55Kahtē haĩ ki tum mērē tō hō hī . 56Jitnē hō utnē hī hō .

53However many of you there are, all of you are Mine.

57Cum|kam jāstī ātmāyē̃ kabhī bhī hō nahī̃ saktī .

54There cannot be more or fewer souls.

58Unhō̃ kā hī bēhad drama mē̃ part hai .

55All of them also have parts in the unlimited drama.

59Yah anādi banā banāyā khēl hai .

56This is an eternally created play.

60Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ ātā hū̃ jarūr ēk sat dharm sthāpan karnē aur anēk dharmō̃ kā vināśh karānē .

57The Father says: I definitely come to establish the one true religion and to inspire the destruction of the innumerable religions.

61Jō satadharma prāyaḥ lōp hō gayā hai , vah abhī sthāpan hō rahā hai .

58The true religion that had disappeared is now being established again.

62Sat dharm arthāt satyug kā ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm , jō sat paramātmā nē ākar sthāpan kiyā hai .

59The true religion, that is, the original eternal deity religion of the golden age, is the one that the true Father established.

63Jaisē kriściyan dharm Christ nē sthāpan kiyā , vaisē ādi sanātan sat dharm , sat bāp nē sthāpan kiyā hai .

60Just as Christ established the Christian religion, in the same way, the true Father established the true, original deity religion.

64Sachkhaṇḍ sthāpan karnē vālā sachchā bābā hai .

61The true Baba establishes the land of truth.

65Tum brāhmaṇ bachchē hī jāntē hō ki barōbar bāp āyā huā hai .

62Only you Brahmin children know that the Father has definitely come.

66Bābā samjhātē haĩ ki ab drama pūrā hōtā hai . 67Tō ab purānā kapṛā chhōṛnā hai .

63Baba explains that the drama is about to finish and that you now have to renounce those old clothes.

68Nāṭak mē̃ bhī actors kā part mukarrar hō jātā hai . 69Apnē time par kapṛē badal-kar chalē jātē haĩ nā .

64The parts of all the actors in a drama are fixed; they change their costumes at the right time and depart.

70Bāp kahtē haĩ ki ab tumhārī ātmā apavitr hō gaī hai .

65The Father says: You souls have now become impure.

71Ātmā sampūrṇ pavitra hō jāē tō phir unkō śharīr bhī pavitra chāhiē .

66When souls become completely pure, they need pure bodies.

72Is śharīr mē̃ rahtē ātmā kō pavitra banānā hai .

67You souls have to make yourselves pure while staying in those bodies.

73Nahī̃ tō ātmā kō ham pavitra kahā̃ banāyēṅgē .

68Where else would you souls make yourselves pure?

74Pavitra yahā̃ hī karnā hai .

69You have to make them pure here.

75Ab 5 tatva bhī tamōpradhān haĩ .

70The five elements are now tamopradhan.

76Ātmā jab pavitra ban karmātīt avasthā mē̃ ā jāyēgī tō phir purānā hisāb-kitāb chuktū hō jāyēgā .

71When a soul becomes pure and reaches the karmateet stage, the old accounts will be cleared. 72This thing applies to the children.

77Yah bāt bachchō̃ kī hai .

73It is the children who listen.

78Bachchē hī suntē haĩ . 79Tō brāhmaṇ jarūr chāhiē .

74So, it is definitely Brahmins who are needed.

80Tum jāntē hō ki svarg key|kī sthāpanā kaisē hō , tō brahmā jarūr chāhiē .

75You know how heaven is being established, and so Brahma is definitely needed.

81Yah hai brāhmaṇō̃ kā kul .

76This is the Brahmin clan.

82Kahtē haĩ ki maĩ brahmā K|kē tan kā ādhār lētā hū̃ , in brāhmaṇō̃ kō rachnē kē liē .

77Baba says: I take the support of Brahma's body in order to create Brahmins.

83Yah bātē̃ tō tum brāhmaṇ aur brāhmaṇiyā̃ hī jāntē hō .

78Only you Brahmins understand these things. 79This is the creation of the confluence age.

84Yah hai saṅgamyug key|kī rachnā , kitnē guhya rāz haĩ .

80This is a deep, significant matter.

85Śhurū mē̃ bābā itnē guhya rāz samjhātē thē kyā  ?

81Did Baba explain such deep, significant points at the beginning?

86Kahā jātā hai nā - sāgar kō syāhī banāō , jaṅgal kō kalam banāō , pr̥ithvī kō kāgaj banāō tō bhī yah gyān pūrā nahī̃ hōgā .

82It is said: Even if you turn the ocean into ink, the forest into pens and the earth into paper, this knowledge would still not come to an end.

87Tum bachchē suntē hī rahtē hō .

83You children continue to listen.

88Yah guhya bātē̃ bhī dhāraṇ unhō̃ kō hōṅgī jinhō̃ kā paṛhāī mē̃ attention hai . 89Bāp sē varsā lēnē kē liē kamar kasakar khaṛē haĩ .

84These deep points will be imbibed by those who pay attention to studying. 85Your belt is being tightened for you to be ready to take the inheritance from the Father.

90Thōṛā bhī agar sanśhay hō gayā tō uṛ jāyēgā .

86If there is even a little doubt, the knowledge disappears from the intellect.

91Phir achānak kiskō tīr lag jāyēgā , tō ēkdam niśhchaybuddhi hō jāyēgā . 92Nayē-nayē ṭōṭkē bābā sunātē haĩ .

87However, if someone is suddenly struck by an arrow, he really becomes one whose intellect has faith.

93Kal bhī bābā nē bahut achchhī rīti samjhāyā thā .

88Baba continues to tell you new interesting points.

94Bāp kahtē haĩ ki maĩ param ātmā paramdhām mē̃ rahnē vālā hū̃ , jiskō supreme soul kahtē haĩ .

89Yesterday, too, Baba explained very well. 90The Father says: I, the Supreme Soul, am the Resident of the supreme abode.

95Yahā̃ key|kī ātmā kō kōī supreme kah na sakē .

91No soul here can be called the Supreme.

96Supreme soul ēk hī hai , unkī hī sab bandgī kartē haĩ .

92There is only the one Supreme Soul to whom everyone prays.

97Paramdhām mē̃ rahnē vālā paramātmā vah phir sarvavyāpī hō na sakē .

93The Supreme Father, the one who is the Resident of the supreme abode, cannot be omnipresent.

98Yahā̃ tō duḥkh hai , janm-maraṇ hai .

94Here, there is sorrow; there is birth and rebirth.

99Paramātmā tō janm-maraṇ rahit hai .

95The Supreme Father is beyond birth and rebirth.

100Jō mahārathī haĩ jinkā pūrā puruṣhārth chal rahā hai varsā lēnē kā , vē|way race mē̃ dēkhō kaisē dauṛtē haĩ .

96Just look how the maharathis, who are making full effort to claim an inheritance, are running in the race.

101Kōī ghōṛē nāummīnd bhī hōtē haĩ . 102Parantu last mē̃ aisē tēj dauṛātē haĩ jō sabsē āgē chalē jātē haĩ .

97There are some hopeless horses but they run so fast at the end that they go ahead of everyone.

103Yahā̃ bhī aisē hai .

98Here, too, it is the same.

104Kōī tō chaltē-chaltē ḍhīlē hō jātē haĩ , gir paṛtē haĩ .

99While moving along, some become weak and fall; some are injured and become lame.

105Kōī kō chōṭ lag jātī hai tō laṅgṛē hō paṛtē haĩ .

100Here, there are also very good, new children who are running faster than the old ones.

106Yahā̃ bhī bahut achchhē-achchhē nayē bachchē haĩ jō purānō̃ sē bahut tēj dauṛ rahē haĩ . 107Kaīyō̃ kō puruṣhārth karnē mē̃ grahachārī baiṭh jātī hai . 108Kōī par kabhī br̥ihaspati kī daśhā baiṭhtī , kabhī chakra key|kī , kabhī śhanīchar key|kī .

101While making effort, some have bad omens. 102Sometimes, someone may experience the omens of Jupiter (Thursday – Brahaspati), sometimes those of shukur (Friday – medium omens), sometimes those of sanichar (Saturday – Saturn, bad omens), sometimes the worst omens, the omens of Rahu.

109Rāhū kī daśhā bhī baiṭh jātī hai . 110Tō kabhī phāydā , kabhī nuksān hōtā rahtā hai .

103Therefore, there is sometimes benefit, sometimes a loss.

111Bābā khud jāntē haĩ ki is bachchē par grahachārī hai , is kāraṇ sē grahaṇ lagā huā hai .

104Baba Himself understands which children are influenced by bad omens. 105This is why there is an eclipse.

112Bāp kahtē haĩ issē pār hōkar tīvra-vēgī ban jāō .

106The Father says: Go beyond that and go fast.

113Jab rāhū kā grahaṇ lagtā hai tō dō tīn varṣh pavitra rah phir karmēndriyō̃ sē vikār mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ . 114Bāp kahtē haĩ kām mahāśhatru hai , in par vijay pānī hai .

107They stay pure for two or three years, but, when they experience the omens of Saturn, they indulge in vice with their physical organs.

115Achchhē-achchhē bachchō̃ par bhī grahachārī lag jātī hai .

108The Father says: Lust is the greatest enemy.

116Śhādī kar lētē haĩ .

109You have to gain victory over it.

117Praṇ bhī pahlē kartē haĩ tō ham pavitra rahē̃gē , parantu gir paṛtē haĩ .

110Even very good children are influenced by bad omens and get married.

118Kabhī śhrīmat par chaltē , kabhī phir ulṭī mat par chal paṛtē haĩ .

111They make a promise that they will stay pure, but they still fall.

119Bābā bachchō̃ kō achchhī rīti jāntē haĩ , bābā kō kahtē ki bābā hamārī ab race chal rahī hai .

112Sometimes they follow shrimat, and sometimes they follow wrong directions. 113Baba understands the children very well.

120Bāp kahtē haĩ ki khabardār rahnā kyōṅki race horse ( ghōṛō̃ key|kī dauṛ ) hai nā  !

114They say: Baba, we are now racing. 115The Father says: Remain cautious because you are racehorses.

121Dēkhō , bachchē bhaviṣhya 21 janmō̃ kā sukh miltā hai .

116Look children, you are to receive happiness for your future 21 births.

122Yah kōī cum|kam bāt hai .

117This is not a small matter.

123Bhūl karnē sē phir bhaviṣhya sabhī janmō̃ par grahachārī athavā gōbī ( ghāṭā ) lag jātā hai isliē bābā kahtē haĩ ki śhrīmat par pūrā puruṣhārth karō .

118By making mistakes, souls are influenced by bad omens and there is then a loss for all the future births. 119This is why Baba says: Make full effort on the basis of shrimat.

124Bābā tō pahlē sē hī batā dētē haĩ - jitnā rustam ( pahalvān ) banē̃gē , gyān-yōg mē̃ tīkhē hōgē , utnā māyā K|kē tūphān bhī jōr sē āyēṅgē .

120Baba tells you everything in advance. 121The stronger and more powerful you become and the cleverer in this knowledge and yoga you are, the more forcefully the storms of Maya will come.

125Khabardār rahnā , karmēndriyō̃ dvārā vikarma kar pāp ātmā nahī̃ bannā hai .

122Be careful! 123Do not become a sinful soul and perform sinful actions with your physical organs.

126Tum hō īśhvarīy aulād . 127Tō bahut royal bannā hai .

124You are children of God, and so you have to be very royal.

128Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ dēkhō kitnē royal haĩ .

125Look how royal Lakshmi and Narayan are!

129Yah saṅskār abhī bharnē haĩ kyōṅki is samay tum īśhvarīy aulād kahlātē hō . 130Mān tumhārā abhī hai .

126You have to fill yourselves with those sanskars at this time because you are called God’s children at this time; you receive a great deal of respect.

131Balihārī tō is ēk janm key|kī mānnī chāhiē .

127It is the wonder of this one birth.

132Bākī tō 84 janma lē patit bantē hī āyē hō .

128You have continued to become impure while taking 84 births.

133Jab tak bābā na āyē tab tak yah manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi jhāṛ jaṛjaṛībhūt tamōpradhān hōnā hī hai nā .

129This human world tree has to reach the state of total decay before Baba comes.

134In lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō bhī viśhva kā mālik us mālik nē banāyā .

130It is that Master who makes Lakshmi and Narayan into the masters of the world.

135Sōmnāth kā mandir bhī bahut nāmīgrāmī hai .

131The Somnath Temple is very famous.

136Śhivbābā nē dhan diyā hai isliē unkē mandir mē̃ bhī bahut dhan lagāyā .

132Shiv Baba had given you a lot of wealth, which is why a lot of wealth was used for the temple to Him.

137Pujārī bhī jab bantē haĩ tō bhī kitnā dhan rahtā hai , jō itnē mandir banāyē haĩ .

133Even when you became worshippers, you had a lot of wealth to make so many temples.

138Tō pūjya-panē mē̃ kitnā na dhan hōgā .

134So, how much wealth would the worthy-of-worship ones have had?

139Abhī tō hai prajā kā prajā par rājya .

135Now, there is the Government of people ruling over people.

140Kuchh hai nahī̃ .

136Nothing now remains.

141Brahmā kī rāt hai nā .

137It is the night of Brahma.

142Phir brahmā kā din hōtā hai tō svarg ban jāyēgā .

138Then, when it is the day of Brahma it will be heaven.

143Hīrē javāharō̃ K|kē mahal ban jāyēṅgē .

139There will be palaces of gold and diamonds.

144Bhalā itnā sōnā āyēgā kahā̃ sē  ?

140Where will all that gold come from?

145Vahā̃ sōnā tō miṭṭī misal hōtā hai .

141The gold there will be the equivalent of clay.

146Dikhlātē haĩ ki pahāṛō mē̃ garmāis hōtī hai tō phaṭtē haĩ .

142It is shown how a mountain breaks open when there is heat, and fire emerges from it (volcanoes).
