Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - sadā yah smr̥iti mē̃ rahē ki hamārā yah antim 84 vā̃ janm hai , ab vāpis ghar jānā hai , phir apnē rājya mē̃ ānā hai ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, remain constantly aware that this is the last of your 84 births. 2You now have to return home and then go into your kingdom.

Question

2Praśhna  : bāp pakkā saudāgar hai , kaisē  ?

3Question: How is the Father the true Businessman?

Answer

3Uttar  : jō abhī sāhūkār haĩ , jinhē̃ paisē kā naśhā hai , bābā kahtē haĩ , tum yahā̃ key|kī apnī rājāī sambhālō .

4Answer: Baba says to those who are wealthy at this time and have the intoxication of their money: Look after your kingdom here! 5The Father doesn't accept anything of theirs.

4Unkā bāp svīkār nahī̃ kartā hai .

6It is the poor that Baba makes the highest of all.

5Garībō̃ kō hī bābā ūñch tē ūñch banātē haĩ . 6Garībō̃ key|kī pāī-pāī saphal kar unhē̃ sāhūkār banā dētē isliē bāp kō pakkā saudāgar kahā jātā hai .

7He uses every penny of the poor in a worthwhile way and makes them wealthy. 8This is why the Father is called the true Businessman.

Question

7Praśhna  : bachchō̃ mē̃ kaun see|sī|C sustī bilkul nahī̃ hōnī chāhiē  ? 8Uttar  : kaī bachchē murlī sunnē vā paṛhnē mē̃ sustī kartē haĩ . 9Murlī miss kar dētē haĩ .

9Question: Which laziness should you children not have at all? 10Answer: Some children are lazy about reading or listening to a murli; they miss murlis.

10Bābā kahtē haĩ bachchē ismē̃ sust mat banō .

11Baba says: Children, don’t become lazy in this.

11Tumhē̃ ēk bhī murlī miss nahī̃ karnī hai . 12Ōm śhānti . 13Bachchō̃ sē bēhad kā bāp pūchhtē haĩ aur jō bhī gurū gōsā̃ī ādi haĩ vah apnē followers kō bachchē nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

12You mustn't miss a single murli. 13Om shanti.

14Ājkal tō achchhē-achchhē javān vidvān bhī bhāṣhaṇ kartē haĩ vā bujurg mātāyē̃ athavā puruṣh haĩ , unmē̃ himmat hī nahī̃ āyēgī jō kahē̃ ki hē bachchō̃ .

14The unlimited Father asks you children. 15None of the gurus, etc. would call their followers ‘children’. 16Nowadays, even very good, young scholars give lectures and, even when older men and women give lectures, none of them would have the courage to call anyone ‘child’.

15Yah akṣhar vah kah saktē haĩ jō gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ hō̃ .

17Only those who live in a household can say this word.

16Bachchā akṣhar family kā hai .

18The word ‘children’ belongs to a family.

17Bāp kah saktē haĩ .

19A father can say it.

18Vah sannyāsī ādi tō family K|kē nahī̃ haĩ . 19Vah haĩ nivr̥itti mārg vālē .

20None of those sannyasis, etc. belong to a family; they belong to the path of isolation.

20Tō gr̥ihastha vyavahār K|kē khyālāt buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ ātē .

21Therefore, they don't have thoughts of household interaction in their intellects.

21Yah tō māt-pitā hai tō jarūr bachchē-bachchē kahē̃gē .

22Surely, it is only a mother or father who would say ‘children’.

22Tum bhī samajhtē hō bēhad kā bāp ham bachchō̃ kō baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

23You also understand that it is the unlimited Father who sits here and explains to you children.

23Pūchhtē haĩ bachchō̃ tumhārā ghar kaun sā hai  ?

24He asks: Children, where is your home? 25(The Supreme Land).

24 ( paramdhām ) . 25Paramdhām sē kōī samajhē̃gē nahī̃ .

26No one would understand anything by ‘supreme land’.

26Kahnā chāhiē śhāntidhām , nirvāṇdhām . 27Tumkō yād karnā hai apnē ghar kō .

27You should say: ‘the land of peace, the land beyond sound.’ You have to remember your home.

28Jāntē hō bābā āyā huā hai , hamkō śhrr̥iṅgār kar ghar lē jāyēṅgē .

28You know that Baba has come to decorate us and take us back home.

29Phir ham sukhdhām mē̃ āyēṅgē .

29We will then go to the land of happiness.

30Abhī tō yah hai duḥkhdhām . 31Inkā tumkō sannyās karnā hai .

30This is now a land of sorrow; you now have to renounce it.

32Yah bēhad kā sannyās sivāē parampitā paramātmā K|kē aur kōī sikhlā na sakē .

31No one, apart from the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, can teach you this unlimited renunciation.

33Vah tō had kā arthāt gharbār kā sannyās kartē haĩ . 34Yah tō māt-pitā hai nā .

32Those people make you have limited renunciation, that is, they make you renounce your homes and families.

35Māt-pitā gharbār kaisē chhuṛāyēṅgē  ?

33This is the Mother and Father.

36Unkā tō dharm hī hai nivr̥itti mārg kā .

34How could the Mother and Father make you leave your homes?

37Jaisē aur-aur dharm haĩ . 38Ārya samājī , rādhā svāmī … abhī rādhā kā svāmī kaun hai  ?

35Their religion is that of the path of isolation, just as there are other religions: Arya Samaj, Radha Swami, etc.

39Yah kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē haĩ .

36Now, who was the Swami (Lord) of Radha?

40Vāstav mē̃ rādhē-kr̥iṣhṇa tō prince-princess haĩ . 41Āpas mē̃ dōnō̃ sakhā-sakhī ṭhaharē .

37No one knows this. 38In fact, Radhe and Krishna were a princess and prince; the two of them were friends.

42Unkō rādhā kā svāmī nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

39He would not be called Radha's Swami.

43Jab rādhā kā svāmī bantā hai phir nām badalkar lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ nām paṛēgā .

40When he becomes Radha's Swami (Lord), their names change and they become Lakshmi and Narayan.

44Śhrī nārāyaṇ svāmī hai .

41Shri Narayan is the Swami.

45Hā̃ , jab tak śhādī nahī̃ kī hai tab tak svāmī nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

42He cannot be called Swami until he gets married.

46Yah samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

43This is something to understand.

47Bāp nē bachchō̃ sē pūchhā apnā śhāntidhām , sukhdhām yād hai  ?

44The Father asks you children: Do you remember your land of peace and land of happiness?

48Yah rāvaṇpurī duḥkhdhām hai .

45This is the land of Ravan, a land of sorrow.

49Purī rahnē key|kī hōtī hai .

46A land is where one resides.

50Rāvaṇpurī mē̃ rām-sītā haĩ nahī̃ .

47Rama and Sita do not live in the land of Ravan.

51Yū̃ tō tum sab sītāyē̃ hō aur bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ hū̃ rām .

48In fact, all of you are Sitas. 49The Father says: I am Rama.

52Mujhē tum sītāō̃ kō rāvaṇ key|kī jēl sē chhuṛānā hai .

50I have to liberate you Sitas from Ravan’s jail.

53Jō sārī duniyā samudra K|kē bīch mē̃ hai , un par rāvaṇ kā rājya hai .

51The whole world is in the middle of the ocean and Ravan’s kingdom is over the whole world.

54Rāmrājya tō satyug mē̃ thā , jismē̃ lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ rājya kartē thē .

52The kingdom of Rama was in the golden age, when Lakshmi and Narayan ruled.

55Thā bhārat par rājya .

53Their kingdom was in Bharat.

56Parantu us samay aur kōī khaṇḍ na hōnē kāraṇ kahā jātā hai , yah bhī viśhva K|kē mālik thē .

54However, because there were no other lands at that time, it is said that they were the masters of the world.

57Haĩ bhārat K|kē mālik aur kōī khaṇḍō̃ kā nām niśhān nahī̃ rahtā .

55They were the masters of Bharat and there was no name or trace of any other lands.

58Tō sārī duniyā K|kē mālik ṭhaharē nā , aur vahā̃ tumhārā mīṭhē pānī par rājya chaltā hai .

56So, they were the masters of the whole world. 57Your kingdom there is by the sweet waters.

59Tō yah tum bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ rahnā chāhiē ki ab nāṭak pūrā huā hai , abhī vāpis ghar jānā hai .

58It should remain in the intellects of you children that the play has now come to an end and that you have to return home.

60Hamnē 84 kā chakra lagāyā hai .

59We have been around the cycle of 84 births.

61Manuṣhyō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ kuchh nahī̃ ātā .

60Nothing enters the intellects of human beings.

62Aisē hī sunī-sunāī bāt kah dētē haĩ .

61They simply repeat the things they have heard.

63Tum jāntē hō - ham 84 kā chakra lagākar āyē haĩ .

62You know that you have now completed a cycle of 84 births.

64Abhī hamkō vāpis jānā hai .

63We now have to return home.

65Phir nayēsir chakra śhurū hōgā .

64A new cycle will then begin.

66Purānī duniyā kaliyug sē nayēsir śhurū nahī̃ hō saktā .

65A new one cannot begin in the iron age of the old world.

67Parantu nayā chakra satyug sē śhurū hōgā .

66A new cycle begins in the golden age.

68Yah sab bātē̃ tum bachchō̃ kō hī samjhāī jātī haĩ , parantu kitnī bātē̃ bachchē bhūl jātē haĩ .

67All of these things are only explained to you children. 68However, children, you forget so many things!

69Dhārṇā na hōnē kāraṇ phir vah khuśhī kā pārā nahī̃ chaṛh saktā .

69Because of not being able to imbibe them, your mercury of happiness doesn't rise.

70Hamārā yah 84 vā̃ antim janm hai .

70This is the last of our 84 births.

71Phir ham apnē ghar jāyēṅgē .

71We will then go home.

72Jab tak pavitra nahī̃ banē haĩ tab tak kōī vāpis nahī̃ jā saktē .

72None of you can return home until you become pure.

73Janma lēnā hī hai .

73You have to take rebirth.

74Jō tum pahlē-pahlē thē ab pichhāṛī mē̃ hō .

74Those of you who existed at the beginning are here at the end.

75Sab dharm vālē abhī ant mē̃ bhinn nām , rūp dēśh , kāl mē̃ haĩ .

75Those of all religions are here now at the end in different names, forms, places and time.

76Gurūnānak jisnē sikkh dharm sthāpan kiyā , uskī ātmā kahā̃ hai  ?

76Where is the Guru Nanak soul who established the Sikh religion?

77Yahā̃ hī bhinn nām-rūp mē̃ hai .

77He is here in a different name and form.

78Sabkō pūrā part bajānā hī hai .

78Everyone has to play their full parts.

79Abhī tum puruṣhārth kar rahē hō - naī duniyā mē̃ jānē kē liē .

79You are now making effort to go to the new world.

80Pichhāṛī mē̃ sabkō hisāb-kitāb chuktū kar phir jānā hai .

80At the end, everyone has to settle their karmic accounts and return home.

81Gurūnānak key|kī ātmā phir apnē samay par āyēgī .

81The Guru Nanak soul will come again at his own time.

82Satyug , trētā , dvāpar mē̃ vah ā na sakē . 83Vah ātī hī hai kaliyug mē̃ .

82He cannot come in the golden, silver or copper age; he comes in the iron age.

84Apnē samay par ākar dharm sthāpan karēgī .

83He will come at his own time and establish that religion.

85Number-vār avatār ātē haĩ , jō ākar apnā dharm sthāpan kartē haĩ .

84Incarnations come down, numberwise, and establish their religions.

86Pahlā number avatār hai bhagvān kā .

85The first number incarnation is that of God.

87Ab nirākār kaisē avatār lē  ?

86How does the incorporeal One incarnate?

88Batātē haĩ mainnē is chōlē kā ādhār liyā hai .

87He tells you: I have taken the support of this costume.

89Yah apnē janmō̃ kō nahī̃ jāntē .

88This one doesn't know his own births.

90Śharīr tō inkā hai nā .

89It is his body.

91Gāyā bhī jātā hai - āyē dēśh parāyē .

90It is remembered: God came into a foreign land.

92Aur sab apnē dēśh , apnē śharīr mē̃ ātē haĩ .

91All others go into their own lands and their own bodies.

93Hā̃ dharm sthāpak dūsrē K|kē śharīr mē̃ ā saktē haĩ , phir unkā nām hōtā hai .

92Yes, the founders of religions can come in the bodies of others, and their names are then glorified.

94Pavitra ātmā ākar pravēśh karēgī .

93A pure soul would come and enter a body that is already here.

95Jō pahlī ātmā hai vah dharm sthāpan nahī̃ karēgī , jō ātmā pravēśh karēgī vahī sthāpanā karēgī .

94The soul that is already down here would not establish a religion. 95The new soul who enters would establish that religion.

96Sitam ādi pahlē vālī ātmā sahan kartī hai .

96It is the soul of the person who is already here that has to tolerate the suffering.

97Jaisē Christ key|kī ātmā I|āī|eye vah tō satōpradhān thī , unkō kuchh sahan nahī̃ karnā hai .

97For instance, when the Christ soul came, he was satopradhan, and so he didn't have to tolerate anything.

98Unkō tō pahlē satō mē̃ hī ānā hai .

98He first has to enter the sato stage.

99Tō jō pahlī ātmā hai , vah sahan kartī hai .

99Therefore, the soul that already exists here has to tolerate everything.

100Duḥkh tō ātmā kō hī hōtā hai nā , jab śharīr kē sāth hai .

100It is the soul that feels the suffering when he is in a body.

101Dharmarāj bhī śharīr dhāraṇ karāē sazā dēgē .

101Dharamraj will also give punishment by making you adopt a body.

102Ātmāō̃ kō feel hōtā hai ki ham sazā khā rahē haĩ isliē kahā jātā hai pāp ātmā , puṇya ātmā .

102The soul would feel that he is being punished. 103This is why it is said: a sinful soul, a charitable soul.

103Pāp śharīr , puṇya śharīr nahī̃ kahā jātā hai .

104It is not said: a sinful body, a charitable body.

104Sannyāsī tō kah dētē haĩ ātmā nirlēp hai , śharīr par pāp lagtā hai .

105Sannyasis say that souls are immune to the effect of action and that it is the bodies that accumulate sin.

105Anēk prakār K|kē gurū lōg haĩ .

106There are so many types of guru.

106Bābā nē bahut gurūō̃ kā anubhav kiyā hai .

107Baba has experienced many gurus.

107Bābā har ēk sē pūchhtē rahtē thē - kyō̃ sannyās kiyā  ?

108Baba used to ask each one of them: Why have you taken up renunciation?

108Gharbār kaisē chhōṛā  ?

109Why did you leave your home and family?

109Batlātē nahī̃ thē .

110They would never tell him.

110Tō maĩ kahtā thā ki maĩ kaisē samajhū̃ ki maĩ bhī kar sakū̃gā vā nahī̃  ?

111Therefore, I would ask them: How can I tell whether I will be able to do it or not?

111Aisī-aisī bātē̃ baṛē shrewdness ( samajhdārī ) sē kartē thē .

112Baba would speak to them very shrewdly in this way.

112Abhī samajhtē haĩ ki yah sārā jō manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi rūpī jhāṛ hai inkī jaṛjaṛībhūt avasthā hai .

113You now understand that it is now the stage of total decay of this whole human world tree.

113Abhī phir sē nayā śhurū hōnā hai .

114It now has to begin anew.

114Pralay tō hōtī nahī̃ .

115Annihilation doesn't take place.

115Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ mahāpralay dikhāī hai .

116They have shown a great annihilation in the scriptures.

116Vah tō hōtī nahī̃ .

117That doesn't take place.

117Kahtē haĩ śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa sāgar mē̃ pīpal K|kē pattē par āyā .

118It is said that Shri Krishna came on a pipal leaf floating in the ocean.

118Yah sab haĩ gapōṛē .

119All of those things are lies.

119Bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ tō ātā hū̃ ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm key|kī sthāpanā karnē .

120The Father says: I come to establish the original, eternal deity religion.

120Hamēśhā pahlē sthāpanā phir vināśh , pālnā . . aisē kahnā chāhiē .

121You must always say: Establishment, then destruction and then sustenance.

121Aisē nahī̃ ki pahlē sthāpanā , pālnā , pīchhē vināśh kahō .

122You mustn’t say: Establishment, then sustenance and then destruction.

122Tō kōī sensible sunēgā tō kahēgā yah tōtē muāphik paṛhē huē haĩ .

123Sensible people who hear you would then say that you are just repeating things like a parrot.

123Sthāpanā , pālnā phir vināśh kaisē hōgā  !

124How could it be establishment, sustenance and then destruction?

124Isliē kāydēmuzīb correct akṣhar bōlnē haĩ .

125This is why you must speak the correct words properly.

125Sthāpanā , vināśh , pālnā .

126Establishment, destruction and then sustenance.

126Abhī ūñchē tē ūñch bāp key|kī tumkō śhrīmat miltī hai .

127You are now receiving shrimat from the highest-on-high Father.

127Dētē haĩ brahmā K|kē tan dvārā , yah bābā kā śharīr mukarar hai .

128He gives it to you through the body of Brahma. 129This Baba's body is fixed.

128Sensible bachchē jō hōṅgē unkō kōī rāy pūchhnī hōgī tō śhrīmat lē̃gē .

130When sensible children want advice, they ask for shrimat.

129Śhrīmat par chalnē sē kabhī dhōkhā nahī̃ khāyēṅgē .

131By following shrimat you will never be deceived.

130Śhivbābā key|kī hī śhrīmat hai .

132Shrimat is that of Shiv Baba.

131Bābā dūr thōṛēhī hai .

133Baba is not far away.

132Bāp dēkhtē haĩ bachchē wrong chaltē haĩ vā right chaltē haĩ .

134The Father sees whether you children are moving along in the right way or the wrong way.

133Har ēk kō surgeon sē rāy mil saktī hai .

135Each of you can receive the Surgeon's advice.

134Yah hai sabsē baṛā surgeon .

136That one is the greatest Surgeon.

135Kōī bhī bāt mē̃ taklīph hō tō bābā baiṭhā hai .

137If there is difficulty about anything, Baba is sitting here.

136Śhrīmat par chaltē rahō .

138Continue to follow shrimat.

137Samjhō kōī garīb bachchā hai , dhārṇā achchhī hai , serviceable hai , parantu garīb hai isliē ākar mil nahī̃ saktā . 138Aisē kō ticket bhī mil saktī hai .

139For instance, when a poor child imbibes knowledge well and is serviceable, but is unable to come and meet Baba because he is poor, he can be given a ticket.

139Bāp tō garībnivāz hai nā .

140The Father is the Lord of the Poor.

140Aisē tō bāp kō bachchē chāhiē jō garīb sē garīb hō aur paṛhkar ūñchē tē ūñchā chaṛh jāyē .

141The Father wants children who are the poorest of all and who study and climb very high.

141Ājkal sab garīb haĩ .

142Nowadays, all are poor.

14210-20 lākh tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ haĩ .

143One or two million is nothing!

14310-20 krōṛ hō tō sāhūkār kahā jāē .

144If someone has 10 or 20 million, he can then be called wealthy.

144Bābā nē samjhāyā hai - padampati yah varsā lē nahī̃ sakē̃gē .

145Baba has explained that millionaires cannot claim this inheritance.

145Vah arpaṇ hō na sakē̃ . 146Na bābā allow karē̃gē .

146They cannot surrender themselves, nor would Baba allow it.

147Garībō̃ key|kī pāī-pāī saphal hōtī hai .

147It is the pennies of the poor that are used in a worthwhile way.

148Aisī kyā paṛī hai , yah bhī pakkā saudāgar hai isliē sāhūkār ātē hī nahī̃ haĩ .

148He is not in desperate need. 149He is also the true Businessman. 150This is why wealthy ones don't come here.

149Bāp kahtē haĩ tum apnī rājāī sambhāltē rahō .

151The Father says to them: Just continue to look after your kingdom.

150Ab tum bachchē jāntē hō - bābā ākar sab vēdō̃ , śhāstrō̃ kā sār samjhātē haĩ .

152You children now know that Baba comes and explains the essence of all the Vedas and scriptures to you.

151Yah bhī bābā nē samjhāyā hai - viṣhṇu kō brahmā bannē mē̃ 5 hajār varṣh lagtē haĩ aur brahmā sē viṣhṇu kō nikalnē mē̃ ēk second . . . aur kōī yah bātē̃ samajh na sakē .

153Baba has explained all of those. 154It takes Vishnu 5000 years to become Brahma and it takes Brahma a second to become Vishnu. 155No one else would be able to understand these things.

152Bābā kitnā achchhā hisāb samjhātē haĩ .

156Baba is explaining about such a good account to you.

153Viṣhṇu key|kī nābhī kamal sē 84 janmō̃ bād abhī brahmā nikalā hai .

157Brahma has now emerged from the navel of Vishnu after 84 births.

154Abhī brahmā sarasvatī sō phir lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ban jātē haĩ .

158Brahma and Saraswati will then become Lakshmi and Narayan.

155Sūryavanśhī banē̃gē phir chandravanśhī banē̃gē .

159They will become the sun dynasty and then the moon dynasty.

156Yah sārā chakra buddhi mē̃ hai .

160You have the whole cycle in your intellects.

157Brahmā sō viṣhṇu , viṣhṇu sō brahmā yah topic bahut achchhī hai .

161The topic of how Brahma becomes Vishnu and how Vishnu becomes Brahma is very good.

158Sārē chakra kā rāz ismē̃ ā jātā hai .

162The significance of the whole cycle is included in that.
