Essence
1 « mīṭhē bachchē - jitnā-jitnā dūsrō̃ kō gyān sunāyēṅgē utnā tumhārī buddhi mē̃ gyān refine hōtā jāyēgā , isliē service jarūr karnī hai ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, the more you relate this knowledge to others, the more refined this knowledge will become in your intellects. 2Therefore, definitely do service.
Question
2Praśhna : bāp kē pās dō prakār K|kē bachchē kaun sē haĩ , un dōnō̃ mē̃ antar kyā hai ?
3Question: What two types of children does the Father have? 4What is the difference between the two?
Answer
3Uttar : bāp kē pās ēk haĩ lagē ( sautēlē ) bachchē , dūsrē haĩ sagē ( mātēlē ) bachchē .
5Answer: The Father has stepchildren and real children. 6Stepchildren simply say, "Baba, Mama", through their mouths, but they are unable to follow shrimat fully; they don’t surrender themselves fully.
4Lagē bachchē - mukh sē sirph bābā mama kahtē lēkin śhrīmat par pūrā nahī̃ chal saktē . 5Pūrā-pūrā balihār nahī̃ jātē .
7Real children completely surrender themselves with their bodies, minds and wealth, that is, they become trustees.
6Sagē bachchē tō tan-man dhan sē pūrṇ samarpaṇ arthāt trustee hōtē haĩ .
8They continue to follow shrimat at every step.
7Kadam-kadam śhrīmat par chaltē haĩ . 8Lagē bachchē sēvā na karnē K|kē kāraṇ chaltē-chaltē gir paṛtē haĩ .
9Because of not doing service, stepchildren fall while moving along; they develop doubts.
9Sanśhay ā jātā hai . 10Sagē bachchē pūrā niśhchaybuddhi hōtē haĩ .
10The intellects of real children have full faith.
Song
11Gīt : bachpan K|kē din bhulā na dēnā …
11Song: Do not forget the days of your childhood.
Murli
12Ōm śhānti .
12Om shanti.
13Bāp bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ .
13The Father explains to the children.
14Kaun sā bāp ?
14Which Father?
15Vāstav mē̃ dōnō̃ bāp haĩ . 16Ēk rūhānī , jiskō bābā kahā jātā , dūsrā jismānī jiskō dādā kahā jātā .
15In fact, both fathers: one is the spiritual Father who is called Baba and the other is the physical father who is called Dada.
17Yah tō sabhī centres K|kē bachchē jāntē haĩ ki ham bāpdādā K|kē bachchē haĩ .
16Children at all the centres know that they are the children of BapDada.
18Rūhānī bāp śhiv hai .
17Shiva is the spiritual Father.
19Vah hai sabhī ātmāō̃ kā bāp aur brahmā dādā hai sārē manuṣhya sijarē kā head .
18He is the Father of all of you souls and Brahma Dada is the head of the human genealogical tree.
20Unkē tum ākar bachchē banē hō .
19You have come and become his children.
21Unmē̃ bhī kōī tō pakkē sagē haĩ , kōī phir lagē bhī haĩ .
20Some of you are truly real children whereas others are still stepchildren.
22Mama bābā tō dōnō̃ hī kahtē haĩ parantu lagē bali nahī̃ chaṛh saktē .
21Both say "Mama, Baba", but stepchildren are unable to surrender themselves.
23Bali na chaṛhnē vālō̃ kō itnī tākat nahī̃ mil saktī arthāt apnē bāp kō tan-man-dhan kā trustee nahī̃ banā saktē .
22Those who don't surrender themselves are unable to receive that much strength, that is, they’re unable to make the Father the trustee of their bodies, minds and wealth.
24Śhrēṣhṭh bannē kē liē unkī śhrīmat par nahī̃ chal saktē .
23They’re unable to follow His shrimat in order to become elevated.
25Sagē bachchō̃ kō sūkṣhma madad miltī hai . 26Parantu vah bhī bahut thōṛē haĩ .
24Real children receive subtle help, but there are very few of those.
27Bhal sagē bhī haĩ parantu unkō bhī abhī pakkē nahī̃ kahē̃gē , jab tak result nahī̃ nikalī hai .
25Although there are real children, not until the results are announced would they also be called really firm ones.
28Bhal yahā̃ rahtē bhī haĩ , bahut achchhē haĩ , service bhī kartē haĩ phir gir bhī paṛtē haĩ .
26Although they even live here and are very good and also do service, even they still fall.
29Yah hai sārī buddhiyōg key|kī bāt .
27This is all a question of your intellects’ yoga.
30Bābā kō bhūlnā nahī̃ hai .
28You mustn’t forget Baba.
31Bābā is bhārat kō bachchō̃ key|kī madad sē svarg banātē haĩ .
29Baba is making this Bharat into heaven with the help of you children.
32Gāyā huā bhī hai śhiv śhakti sēnā .
30The Shiv Shakti Army is remembered.
33Harēk kō apnē sē bāt karnī hai - barōbar ham śhivbābā K|kē adopted children haĩ .
31Each one of you has to talk to yourself: We are truly the adopted children of Shiv Baba.
34Bāp sē ham svarg kā varsā pā rahē haĩ .
32We are claiming our inheritance of heaven from the Father.
35Dvāpar sē lēkar hamnē jō laukik bāp kā varsā pāyā hai vah nark kā hī pāyā hai .
33The inheritances we have been receiving from the copper age from physical fathers were only those of hell.
36Duḥkhī hōtē āyē haĩ .
34We continued to become unhappy.
37Bhaktimārg mē̃ tō hai hī andhaśhraddhā . 38Jab sē bhakti śhurū huī hai tab sē jō-jō varṣh bītā ham nīchē utartē āyē .
35On the path of devotion, there is just blind faith and as the years passed we have only continued to come down since devotion began.
39Bhakti bhī pahlē avyabhichārī thī .
36Devotion too was at first unadulterated.
40Ēk key|kī pūjā kartē thē .
37They used to worship the One alone.
41Uskē badalē|badlē ab anēkō̃ key|kī pūjā kartē āyē haĩ .
38Now, instead of that, they worship many.
42Ab yah sab bātē̃ r̥iṣhi , muni , sādhu , sant ādi nahī̃ jāntē ki bhakti kab śhurū hōtī hai .
39None of the rishis, munis, sages or holy men know when devotion began.
43Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ bhī hai brahmā kā din aur brahmā kī rāt .
40The night and day of Brahma is mentioned in the scriptures.
44Bhal brahmā sarasvatī hī lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ bantē haĩ parantu nām brahmā kā diyā hai .
41Although Brahma and Saraswati become Lakshmi and Narayan, they have mentioned Brahma’s name.
45Brahmā kē sāth bachchē bhī bahut haĩ .
42Together with Brahma, there are also many children.
46Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē bachchē tō bahut nahī̃ hōṅgē . 47Prajāpitā bhī unkō nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
43There wouldn't be many children of Lakshmi and Narayan; he would not be called Prajapita.
48Ab naī prajā ban rahī hai .
44New people are being created now.
49Naī prajā hōtī hī hai brāhmaṇō̃ key|kī .
45The new creation (people) are Brahmins.
50Brāhmaṇ hī apnē kō īśhvarīy santān samajhtē haĩ .
46It is Brahmins who consider themselves to be the children of God.
51Dēvtā tō nahī̃ samajhē̃gē . 52Unkō chakra kā hī patā nahī̃ .
47Deities would not consider themselves to be that; they are not even aware of the cycle.
53Abhī tum jāntē hō ham śhivbābā K|kē bachchē banē haĩ .
48You know that you have now become the children of Shiv Baba.
54Unhōnnē hī hamē̃ 84 kā chakra samjhāyā hai .
49He has explained to us the cycle of 84 births.
55Unkī madad sē ham bhārat kō phir sē daivī pāvan rājasthān banā rahē haĩ .
50With His help, we are once again making Bharat into the pure, divine Rajasthan (Land of Kings).
56Yah baṛī samajh key|kī bāt hai .
51This is something to be clearly understood.
57Kiskō samjhānē key|kī bhī himmat chāhiē .
52One needs courage to explain this.
58Tum hō śhiv śhakti pāṇḍav sēnā .
53You are the Shiv Shakti Pandava Army.
59Paṇḍē bhī hō , sabkō rāstā batātē hō .
54You are also guides: you show everyone the path.
60Tumhārē bigar rūhānī sweet home kā rāstā kōī batā na sakē .
55No one, apart from you, can show the path to the spiritual, sweet home.
61Vah paṇḍē lōg tō karkē amarnāth par , kōī tīrtha par lē jātē haĩ .
56Those guides take you to Amarnath or to some other pilgrimage place.
62Tum be|B . K|kē . tō ēkdam sabhī sē dūr paramdhām lē jātē hō .
57You BKs take everyone very far away from everything to the supreme abode (paramdham).
63Vah jismānī guide haĩ - dhakkē khilānē vālē .
58Those are physical guides who make you stumble around.
64Tum sabhī kō bāp kē pās śhāntidhām lē jātē hō .
59You take everyone to the Father in the land of peace.
65Tō sadaiv yah yād karnā paṛē - ham bhārat kō phir sē daivī rājasthān banā rahē haĩ .
60Therefore, you should constantly remember: We are once again making Bharat into a divine Rajasthan (land of Kings).
66Yah tō kōī bhī mānē̃gē .
61Anyone would believe this.
67Bhārat kā ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm thā .
62There used to be the original, eternal, deity religion in Bharat.
68Bhārat satyug mē̃ bēhad kā daivī pāvan rājasthān thā , phir pāvan kṣhatriya rājasthān banā , phir māyā key|kī pravēśhtā hōnē sē āsurī rājasthān ban jātā hai .
63In the golden age, Bharat was an unlimited pure, divine Rajasthan. 64It then became a pure warrior Rajasthan. 65Then, when Maya came into existence, it became a devilish Rajasthan.
69Yahā̃ bhī pahlē rājā rānī rājya kartē thē , parantu bigar light K|kē tāj vālī rājāī chaltī āī hai .
66Here, too, there were kings and queens who used to rule at the beginning. 67However, the kingdom that has continued is one without the crown of light.
70Daivī rājasthān kē bād huā āsurī patit rājasthān , abhī tō patit prajā kā sthān hai , pañchāyatī rājasthān .
68After the deity Rajasthan, it became an impure, devilish Rajasthan. 69It is now a land of impure people; it is a Rajasthan where people rule people.
71Vāstav mē̃ inkō rājasthān kah nahī̃ saktē , parantu nām lagā diyā hai .
70In fact, it cannot be called Rajasthan; they have just given it that name.
72Rājāī tō hai nahī̃ .
71There are no kingdoms now.
73Yah bhī drama banā huā hai .
72This drama is predestined.
74Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē chitra tumkō bahut kām āyēṅgē .
73This picture of Lakshmi and Narayan will be very useful to you.
75In par samjhānā hai , bhārat aisā double sirtāj thā .
74You have to explain using it: Bharat was double crowned like this.
76In lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya thā , chhōṭēpan mē̃ rādhē kr̥iṣhṇa thē , phir trētā mē̃ rāmrājya huā , phir dvāpar mē̃ māyā ā gaī .
75It used to be the kingdom of this Lakshmi and Narayan. 76They were Radhe and Krishna in their childhood. 77Then, in the silver age, it became the kingdom of Rama.
77Yah tō bilkul sahaj hai nā .
78Then, Maya came in the copper age.
78Bhārat key|kī history-geography nutshell mē̃ samjhātē haĩ .
79This is very easy. 80The history and geography of Bharat is explained in a nutshell.
79Dvāpar mē̃ hī phir pāvan rājā-rānī lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē mandir banē .
81It was in the copper age that the temples to the pure King Narayan and Queen Lakshmi were built.
80Dēvtāyē̃ svayã tō vāmmārg mē̃ chalē gayē .
82The deities themselves went onto the path of sin.
81Patit hōnē lag paṛē .
83They began to become impure.
82Phir jō pāvan dēvtāyē̃ hōkar gayē haĩ , unkē mandir banākar pūjā śhurū key|kī .
84They then built temples to the pure deities who had existed and they began to worship them.
83Patit hī pāvan kō māthā ṭēktē haĩ .
85It is impure ones who bow down to pure ones.
84Jab tak British government kā rājya thā tō rājā-rānī thē .
86There were kings and queens until the British Government came.
85Jamīndār bhī rājā rānī kā lakab ( title ) lē lētē thē , issē unkā darbār mē̃ mān hōtā thā .
87Even landowners used to take the title of king or queen, through which they would receive respect at court.
86Abhī tō kōī rājā nahī̃ hai .
88Now, no one is a king.
87Pīchhē jab āpas mē̃ laṛē haĩ tab musalmān ādi āyē haĩ .
89When they began to fight among themselves, those of Islam came.
88Abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō phir sē kaliyug kā ant ā gayā hai .
90You children know that it is now once again the end of the iron age.
89Vināśh sāmnē khaṛā hai .
91Destruction is just ahead.
90Bāp phir sē rājyōg sikhlā rahē haĩ .
92The Father is once again teaching you Raja Yoga.
91Kaisē sthāpanā hōtī hai , sō tō tum jāntē hō , phir yah history-geography miṭ jātī hai .
93Only you know how establishment is taking place. 94This history and geography will then be erased.
92Phir bhakti mē̃ vō lōg apnī gītā banā dētē haĩ , usmē̃ bahut fark paṛ jātā hai .
95On the path of devotion, those people write their own Gita and there is a lot of difference in that.
93Bhakti kē liē unhō̃ kō dēvī-dēvtā dharm kā pustak jarūr chāhiē .
96In devotion, they definitely need their religious books of the deities.
94Sō drama anusār gītā banā dī hai .
97Therefore, according to the drama, they created the Gita.
95Aisē nahī̃ bhakti mārg key|kī us gītā sē kōī rājāī sthāpan karē̃gē vā nar sē nārāyaṇ banē̃gē . 96Bilkul nahī̃ .
98It isn't that, on the path of devotion, they will establish a kingdom or change human beings into Narayan with the Gita; not at all!
97Ab bāp samjhātē haĩ tum hō gupta sēnā .
99The Father now explains: You are an incognito army.
98Bābā bhī gupta hai .
100Baba is also incognito.
99Tumkō bhī gupta yōgbal sē rājāī prāpt karā rahē haĩ .
101It is the incognito power of yoga that is enabling you to receive the kingdom.
100Bāhubal sē had key|kī rājāī miltī hai .
102Through physical power you receive a limited kingdom.
101Yōgbal sē bēhad key|kī rājāī miltī hai .
103With the power of yoga you receive an unlimited kingdom.
102Tum bachchō̃ kō dil andar yah niśhchay hai ki ham abhī bhārat kō vahī daivī rājasthān banā rahē haĩ .
104You children have the faith in your hearts that you are now making Bharat into that same deity Rajasthan.
103Jō mēhnat kartā hai , uskī mēhnat chhipī nahī̃ rah saktī .
105The efforts of those who make effort cannot remain hidden.
104Vināśh tō hōnā hī hai .
106Destruction has to take place.
105Gītā mē̃ bhī yah bāt hai .
107This is also mentioned in the Gita.
106Pūchhtē haĩ , is samay key|kī mēhnat anusār hamkō bhaviṣhya mē̃ kyā pad milēgā ?
108It is asked: According to the efforts of this time, what status will I receive in the future?
107Yahā̃ bhī kōī śharīr chhōṛtā hai tō saṅkalp chalēgā ki yah kis pad kō prāpt karēgā .
109Here, too, when someone sheds his body, there is the question: What status will he attain?
108Sō tō bāp hī jānē ki isnē kis prakār sē tan-man-dhan key|kī sēvā kī hai !
110Only the Father knows what type of service he did with his body, mind and wealth.
109Yah bachchē nahī̃ jān saktē , bāpdādā jānē .
111The children cannot know this. 112BapDada knows.
110Batāyā bhī jā saktā hai , is prakār key|kī sēvā tumnē kī hai . 111Gyān uṭhāyā yā nahī̃ , parantu madad tō bahut kī hai .
113You can also be told what kind of service you did, whether you took up knowledge or not, whether you helped a great deal.
112Jaisē manuṣhya dān kartē haĩ tō samajhtē haĩ sansthā bahut achchhī hai . 113Achchhā kārya kar rahī hai .
114For instance, people give donations because they believe that this institution is very good and that it is carrying out good work.
114Parantu mērē mē̃ pāvan rahnē key|kī tākat nahī̃ hai .
115They say: I don't have the power to remain pure.
115Maĩ yagya kō madad kartā hū̃ .
116I will help the yagya.
116Tō uskā bhī return unkō mil jātā hai .
117Therefore, they receive the return of that.
117Jaisē manuṣhya college banātē haĩ , hospital banātē haĩ aurō̃ kē liē .
118When people build a college or a hospital, they do it for others.
118Aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki maĩ bīmār paḍū̃ tō hospital mē̃ jāū̃ .
119It isn't so that they can go to the hospital if they fall ill themselves.
119Jō kuchh banātē haĩ dūsrō̃ kē liē .
120Whatever they build, they do so for others.
120Tō uskā phal bhī miltā hai , uskō dān kahā jātā hai .
121So they receive the fruit of that. 122That is called donating.
121Yahā̃ phir kyā hōtā hai .
123What happens here?
122Āśhīrvād dētē haĩ tumhārā lōk parlōk suhēlā hō .
124You are given blessings and you remain happy.
123Sukhī hō . 124Lōk aur parlōk , sō tō is saṅgamyug key|kī bāt hai .
125Both in this world and in the world beyond, you remain happy.
125Yah hai mr̥ityulōk kā janm aur amarlōk kā janm , dōnō̃ saphal hō̃ .
126When you speak of this world and the world beyond (parlok), it applies to the confluence age.
126Barōbar tumhārā abhī yah janm saphal hō rahā hai , phir kōī tan sē kōī man sē kōī dhan sē sēvā kartē haĩ .
127This means that both this birth in the land of death and the birth in the land of immortality become worthwhile. 128Truly, this birth of yours is now being made worthwhile.
127Bahut haĩ jō gyān nahī̃ uṭhā saktē haĩ , kahtē haĩ bābā hamārē mē̃ himmat nahī̃ hai .
129Some are serving with their bodies, some are serving with their minds and others are serving with their wealth.
128Bākī madad kar saktē haĩ .
130Many are unable to take knowledge.
129Tō bāp batāyēṅgē ki tum itnā dhanvān ban saktē hō .
131They say: Baba, I don't have courage, but I can help. 132The Father would tell him: You can become so wealthy.
130Kōī bhī bāt hō tō pūchh saktē hō .
133If there is something, you can ask the Father.
131Follow father karnā hai tō pūchhnā bhī unsē hai , is hālat mē̃ ham kyā karē̃ ?
134You want to follow the Father and so you have to ask Him: Baba, what should I do in this situation?
132Śhrīmat dēnē vālā bāp baiṭhā hai .
135The Father who gives you shrimat is sitting here.
133Unsē pūchhnā hai , chhipānā nahī̃ hai .
136You have to ask Him; you mustn’t hide anything from Him.
134Nahī̃ tō bīmārī baṛh jāyēgī .
137Otherwise, the illness will increase.
135Kadam-kadam śhrīmat par na chalē tō rōlā paṛ jāyēgā .
138If you don't follow shrimat at every step, something will go wrong.
136Bābā kōī dūr thōṛēhī hai . 137Sammukh ākar pūchhnā chāhiē .
139Baba is not far away. 140You should come personally in front of Baba and ask Him.
138Aisē bāpdādā kē pās ghaṛī-ghaṛī ānā chāhiē .
141You should repeatedly come to such a BapDada.
139Vāstav mē̃ aisē most beloved bāp kē sāth tō ikaṭṭhā rahnā chāhiē .
142In fact, you should remain combined with the most beloved Father. 143You should cling to the Bridegroom.
140Sājan kō chaṭak jānā chāhiē , vah hai jismānī , yah hai rūhānī .
144Those are physical whereas this One is spiritual. 145Here, there is no question of clinging to Him.
141Ismē̃ chaṭaknē key|kī bāt nahī̃ , yahā̃ sabkō biṭhā nahī̃ dēgē . 142Yah aisī chīz hai , bas sāmnē baiṭhē hī rahē̃ , suntē hī rahē̃ . 143Unkī mat par chaltē hī rahē̃ .
146Not everyone would be made to sit here. 147This is such a thing that you want the Father just to remain seated in front of you while you continue to listen to Him and also continue to follow His directions.
144Paratu bābā kahē̃gē yahā̃ baiṭh nahī̃ jānā hai .
148However, Baba would say: You mustn't just sit here.
145Gaṅgā nadī banō , jāō service par .
149Become River Ganges; go and do service!
146Bachchō̃ kā lav|love aisā hōnā chāhiē - jaisē mastānā hōtā hai .
150The love of you children should be like those who are intoxicated in love.
147Parantu phir service bhī tō karnī hai .
151However, you also have to do service.
148Niśhchaybuddhi tō ēkdam laṭak paṛtē haĩ .
152Those whose intellects have faith cling to Him completely.
149Bachchē likhtē haĩ phalānā bahut achchhā niśhchaybuddhi hai .
153Some children write: So-and-so has very good faith in the intellect.
150Maĩ likhtā hū̃ kuchh bhī nahī̃ samjhā hai .
154I would reply: He hasn't understood anything at all!
151Agar niśhchaybuddhi hai ki svarg kā mālik banānē vālā bāp ā gayā hai tō ēk second bhī milnē bigar rah na sakē .
155If he had the faith that the Father who makes us into the masters of heaven has come, he would not be able to remain for even a second without meeting such a Father.
152Bahut hī bachchiyā̃ haĩ jō taṛaptī haĩ .
156There are many daughters who are very desperate.
153Phir ghar baiṭhē unkō sākṣhātkār hōtē haĩ brahmā aur kr̥iṣhṇa kā .
