Question
2Praśhna : sadā khuśhī kin bachchō̃ kō rahtī hai ? 3Sthāī khuśhī na rahnē kā kāraṇ kyā hai ?
4Question: Which children remain constantly happy? 5What is the reason for there not being constant happiness?
Answer
4Uttar : jō purānī duniyā , purānē śharīr sē mamatva tōṛ bāp aur varsē kō yād kartē haĩ unhē̃ hī sthāī khuśhī rahtī hai .
6Answer: 1) Those who break their attachment away from the old world and old bodies and remember the Father and the inheritance experience happiness permanently. 7Happiness cannot remain permanently for those who experience storms of Maya while having remembrance and whose stage becomes slack.
5Jinkī yād kī yātrā mē̃ māyā K|kē tūphān ātē , avasthā ṭhaṇḍī hō jātī unkī khuśhī sthāī nahī̃ rahtī . 62 - jab tak bhaviṣhya rājāī in āṅkhō̃ sē nahī̃ dēkhtē haĩ , tab tak khuśhī kāyam nahī̃ rah saktī .

Song

9Song: We have to follow the path: where, if we fall, we must rise up again.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
10Om shanti.
9Yah bāp kahtē haĩ bachchō̃ prati , yah tō samajhnē key|kī bāt hai .
11The Father says this to the children. 12This is something to be understood.
10Itnē bachchē sivāē prajāpitā brahmā K|kē aur kiskē hōtē nahī̃ .
13No one, other than Prajapita Brahma, can have so many children.
11Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kō kabhī prajāpitā nahī̃ kahā jātā .
14Shri Krishna cannot be called Prajapita.
12Nām gāyā huā hai nā prajāpitā brahmā , jō hōkar gayē haĩ vah is samay present hai .
15The name ‘Prajapita Brahma’ has been remembered. 16The one who existed in the past is present at this time.
13Tō prajāpitā brahmā key|kī santān brahmākumār kumāriyā̃ ḍhēr haĩ .
17There are many Brahma Kumars and Kumaris who are the children of Prajapita Brahma.
14Yah hai prajāpitā brahmā key|kī aulād . 15Tō jarūr prajāpitā brahmā kā bhī kōī bāp hōgā nā .
18If they are the children of Prajapita Brahma, there must surely be the Father of Prajapita Brahma.
16Bachchē jāntē haĩ hamārā dādā parampitā paramātmā śhiv hai .
19You children know that your Grandfather is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, Shiv.
17Vah ab naī duniyā rach rahē haĩ arthāt purānī duniyā kō naī banā rahē haĩ .
20He is now creating a new world, that is, He is making the old world new.
18Is purānī duniyā mē̃ yah tan bhī purānē haĩ .
21In this old world, even this body is old.
19Naī duniyā mē̃ satōpradhān nayē tan hōtē haĩ .
22In the new world, there would be new, satopradhan bodies.
20Vah kaisē hōtē haĩ , dēkhō , in lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō .
23What are they like? 24Look at Lakshmi and Narayan.
21Yah hai naī duniyā K|kē nayē tan .
25They have the new bodies of the new world.
22Inhō̃ key|kī mahimā bhāratvāsī jāntē haĩ .
26The people of Bharat know their praise.
23Yah svarg naī duniyā , nayē viśhva K|kē mālik haĩ .
27They are the masters of the new world of heaven, of the new world.
24Naī duniyā jō thī vah ab purānī hai .
28The world that was new is now old.
2584 janma lēnē paṛtē haĩ nā .
29They had to take 84 births.
26Inkā bhī pūrā hisāb hai .
30There is the full account of that.
27Kaun pūrē 84 janma lētē haĩ ?
31Who takes the full 84 births?
28Sab tō nahī̃ lētē .
32Not everyone will take them.
2984 janm sirph vahī lētē haĩ jinkā ādi sē ant tak part hai . 30Jō pahlē is sr̥iṣhṭi par thē .
33Only those who have parts from the beginning to the end, and who came into this world first, take the full 84 births.
31Har ēk bāt lāḍlē bachchō̃ kō dhāraṇ karnī hai .
34You beloved children have to imbibe everything.
32Yahā̃ kōī manuṣhya , manuṣhya kō nahī̃ samjhātē yah tō nirākār parampitā paramātmā manuṣhya tan mē̃ baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
35It is not a human being here who is explaining to human beings. 36It is the incorporeal, Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who sits in a human body and explains to you.
33Balihārī unkī hai .
37It is His greatness.
34Vah nahī̃ samjhātē tō ham kuchh bhī nahī̃ jāntē .
38If He hadn't explained to us, we wouldn't have known anything.
35Ham tō bilkul tuchchh buddhi thē .
39We had completely degraded intellects.
36Abhī rachayitā aur rachnā K|kē ādi madhya ant kō jānā hai . 37Who is who . . . is bēhad drama mē̃ sabsē mukhya pārṭdhārī kaun-kaun haĩ .
40We now know the Creator and the beginning, the middle and the end of creation: Who’s Who, who the main actors are in this unlimited drama.
38Yah avināśhī banā banāyā drama hai .
41This drama is eternally predestined.
39Gātē bhī haĩ banī banāī ban rahī . . gāyan bhakti mārg mē̃ kartē haĩ .
42It is remembered: That which is destined is happening now. 43They sing this on the path of devotion.
40Parantu yah abhī samjhāyā jātā hai ki yah drama kā khēl kaisē banā huā hai .
44However, it is explained to you, how this play of the drama has been created.
41Bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ lāḍlē bachchē yah tō tum jān gayē hō ki tumkō yātrā par chalnā hai .
45The Father sits here and explains: Beloved children, you now know that you have to go on a pilgrimage.
42Manuṣhya yātrā par bahut kaṣhṭa sahan karkē jātē haĩ .
46People go on pilgrimages and endure many hardships.
43Abhī tō aeroplane train ādi bahut sahaj nikalī haĩ .
47Aeroplanes and trains, etc. have now made everything very easy.
44Āgē tō manuṣhya paidal yātrā par jātē thē .
48Earlier, people used to go on pilgrimages by foot.
45Chaltē-chaltē tūphān lagtē thē .
49They would experience storms while moving along.
46Manuṣhya bēhāl hō jātē thē .
50People would get completely lose it.
47Phir kōī vāpis lauṭ ātē thē .
51Some would even turn back.
48Tō ādhākalp , dvāpar sē lēkar jismānī yātrā chaltī hai .
52So, physical pilgrimages continue for half a cycle, from the copper age onwards.
49Bhakti mārg mē̃ manuṣhya yātrā par kyō̃ jātē haĩ ?
53Why do people on the path of devotion go on pilgrimages?
50Bhagvān kō ḍhūḍhãnē .
54Searching for God.
51Bhagvān kahī̃ baiṭhā tō nahī̃ hai .
55God is not just sitting somewhere.
52Bhagvān K|kē jaṛ chitra pūjē jātē haĩ .
56The non-living images of God are worshipped.
53Jō hōkar jātē haĩ unkē jaṛ chitra banātē haĩ .
57They make images of those who existed in the past.
54Chaitanya mē̃ tō bhagvān mil na sakē .
58They cannot find God in a living form.
55Śhivliṅg ādi yah sab jaṛ chitra haĩ .
59Shiv lingams, etc. are non-living images.
56Jaṛ chitrō̃ kō dēkhnē kē liē yātrā kartē haĩ .
60They go on pilgrimages to see non-living images.
57Yah ēk bhakti mārg key|kī rasam hai .
61That is a system of the path of devotion.
58Jāntē haĩ parantu kōī key|kī bhī biography kō nahī̃ jāntē ki yah kaun haĩ , kab āyē thē ?
62They do know that, but they don’t know the biography of anyone - who they are or when they came.
59Śhiv jayantī manāī jātī hai , parantu unkō bhī jāntē nahī̃ .
63Shiva Jayanti is also celebrated, but they don't know Him.
60Ājkal tō is utsav kō bhī uṛā diyā hai kyōṅki inkā nām rūp ādi prāyaḥlōp hōnā hī hai .
64Nowadays, they have lost all the importance of this festival because His name, form etc. had to disappear.
61Abhī tum jāntē hō ūñchē tē ūñch gyān kā sāgar , sukh kā sāgar hai .
65You now know that the Highest on High is the Ocean of Knowledge, the Ocean of Happiness.
62Sāgar sē abhī hamkō gyān mil rahā hai .
66We are now receiving knowledge from the Ocean.
63Vahī bēhad kā bāp abhī practical mē̃ hai .
67That unlimited Father now exists in a practical form.
64Amarnāth bhī śhivbābā hai nā .
68Shiv Baba is the Lord of Immortality.
65Dikhātē haĩ barph kā liṅg ban jātā hai .
69They show that an ice lingam forms naturally at Amarnath.
66Manuṣhyō̃ kō ṭhagnē kē liē gapōṛē tō bahut lagāyē haĩ .
70They tell many tales in order to deceive people.
67Tō us jismānī yātrā par taklīph bahut hōtī hai .
71There are so many difficulties on physical pilgrimages.
68Yah hai rūhānī yātrā , ismē̃ śharīr key|kī kōī taklīph nahī̃ hai .
72This pilgrimage is spiritual and it has no difficulty for the body.
69Tum bachchē samajhtē hō ham bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē bachchē haĩ .
73You children understand that you are children of the unlimited Father.
70Bhakti mārg mē̃ janma-janmāntar yād kartē āyē haĩ .
74You have been remembering Him for birth after birth on the path of devotion.
71Ab smr̥iti āī hai .
75You have now remembered this.
72Bāp kahtē haĩ tum 63 janm ḍhūḍhãtē-ḍhū̃ḍhatē utartē gayē .
76The Father says: While searching for Me, you came down 63 births.
73Pahlē ēkdam kaṛī naudhā bhakti kartē haĩ .
77At first, people used to do very severe, intense devotion.
74Phir bhī duniyā kō tamōpradhān tō jarūr hōnā hai .
78Nevertheless, the world definitely had to become tamopradhan.
75Jhāḍ vr̥iddhi kō pātā hai jarūr .
79The tree definitely continues to grow.
76Ēk bhī manuṣhya vāpis mērē pās|pass ā nahī̃ saktē .
80Not a single human being can come back to Me.
77Nāṭak mē̃ sabkō apnā part bajānā hai .
81Everyone has to play their own parts in the play.
78Satō rajō tamō mē̃ ānā hai . 79Number one kā hī misāl lō|low .
82Everyone has to go through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.
80Number-one lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ satōpradhān thē , ab tamōpradhān haĩ .
83Take the example of the number one soul.
81Jismē̃ hī phir śhivbābā nē pravēśh kiyā hai kyōṅki inkō hī phir number one bannā hai .
84The number one Lakshmi and Narayan were satopradhan and have now become tamopradhan.
82Phir plus mē̃ ma kō rakhtē haĩ . 83Mātāō̃ kō lift dēnī hōtī hai .
85Shiv Baba has entered this one because he has to become number one again.
84Pahlē lakṣhmī phir nārāyaṇ , mātāō̃ kā nām ūñchā kiyā jātā hai .
86Then the mother is placed in the plus position. 87Mothers have to be given a lift.
85Mātā sadaiv pativratā hōtī hai .
88Lakshmi is first and then Narayan.
86Puruṣh kabhī patnīvratā nahī̃ hōtē haĩ .
89The name of the mothers is uplifted.
87Vandē mātaram kahā jātā hai .
90Women are always faithful to their husbands.
88Is samay tum bāp K|kē banē hō .
91Men are not always faithful to their wives.
89Tō tum hō jātē hō brahmākumār kumārī .
92It is said: Salutations to the mothers.
90Mātā gurū bigar kabhī kiskā uddhār hōtā nahī̃ .
93At this time, you belong to the Father.
91Gurū tō bahut ḍhēr K|kē ḍhēr haĩ .
94Therefore, you are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
92Phir bhī kaliyug ghōr andhiyārā hō gayā hai . 93Kitnē gurū gōsāī haĩ .
95There cannot be salvation for anyone without the mothers who are gurus.
94Kahā̃-kahā̃ haridvār ādi mē̃ unhō̃ K|kē mandir banē huē haĩ . 95Nahī̃ tō vāstav mē̃ mandir unkō kahā jātā hai jismē̃ dēvtāyē̃ hōtē haĩ .
96There are many gurus. 97There is extreme darkness in the iron age in spite of there being so many gurus and holy men. 98They have their temples, etc. built at Haridwar.
96Sannyāsī lōgō̃ kā kabhī mandir nahī̃ hōtā hai .
99However, temples are in fact places where deities are shown.
97Mandirō̃ mē̃ tō dēvtāyē̃ hī rahtē haĩ kyōṅki unhō̃ key|kī ātmā aur śharīr dōnō̃ pavitra haĩ .
100There aren't temples to sannyasis. 101Only deity idols reside in temples because both those souls and their bodies were pure.
98In mahātmāō̃ key|kī bhal ātmā pavitra hai , parantu śharīr pavitra mil nahī̃ saktā kyōṅki tatva bhī tamōpradhān haĩ .
102Although the souls of those mahatmas (great souls) are pure, they cannot receive pure bodies because matter is now tamopradhan. 103You are now becoming deities.
99Abhī tum dēvtā ban rahē hō . 100Banānē vālā hai parampitā paramātmā .
104It is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who is making you that.
101Yah hai satōpradhān sannyās . 102Vah hai rajōpradhān sannyās .
105This renunciation is satopradhan whereas their renunciation is rajopradhan.
103Yah bāp K|kē sivāē kōī sikhlā na sakē .
106No one except the Father can teach this.
104Tō bābā nē samjhāyā hai ki vah hai jismānī yātrā , yah hai rūhānī yātrā .
107Baba has explained to you: Those are physical pilgrimages whereas this pilgrimage is spiritual.
105Ismē̃ karmēndriyō̃ kā kōī kām nahī̃ , kuchh bhī taklīph key|kī bāt nahī̃ hai .
108You don't need to do anything with your physical organs here. 109There is no question of physical difficulty.
106Bahut sahaj hai .
110It is very easy.
107Vah jismānī yātrā anēk prakār kī hai . 108Yah rūhānī yātrā ēk hī hai .
111There are many types of physical pilgrimage, whereas there is just the one spiritual pilgrimage.
109Yah hai rājāī kē liē yātrā .
112This is a pilgrimage for a kingdom.
110Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā chitra sāmnē khaṛā hai , duniyā thōṛēhī jāntī hai ki inhō̃ nē yah rājyōg key|kī yātrā kar yah pad pāyā hai .
113The picture of Lakshmi and Narayan is just in front of you. 114The world doesn't know that they claimed their status by going on the pilgrimage of Raj Yoga.
111Tum bachchē jāntē hō inhō̃ nē yah prālabdh kaisē pāī .
115You children know how they claimed their reward.
112Kōī ūpar sē naī ātmāyē̃ tō nahī̃ I|āī|eye , jinkō bhagvān nē rājāī dē dī .
116They were not new souls that came from up above to whom God gave the kingdom.
113Nahī̃ . 114Inhō̃ kō purānē sē nayā banāyā huā hai jiskō rejuvenate vā kāyā kalpatarū kahā jātā hai .
117No; they were made new from old and this is called rejuvenation, that is, their bodies were made like the kalpa tree, so they became eternal (long lasting).
115Tō bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ inhōnnē rūhānī yātrā kī thī .
118The Father sits here and explains that they went on a spiritual pilgrimage.
116Rājyōg bal key|kī yātrā sē yah banē .
119They became that with the power of Raj Yoga.
117Bāp rājyōg aur gyān sikhānē ātē haĩ tō ab tumhārī yātrā chal rahī hai .
120The Father comes to teach you Raj Yoga and knowledge, and so your pilgrimage is continuing.
118Tum baiṭhē huē athavā chaltē phirtē uṭhtē baiṭhtē yātrā par hō .
121Whether sitting or moving around, you are on pilgrimage.
119Tum sirph buddhi sē bāp kō yād kartē hō .
122Simply continue to remember the Father with your intellects.
120Yād sē hī dauṛī pahantē hō aur tumhārē vikarma vināśh hōtē haĩ .
123You race in remembrance and your sins are absolved.
121Jitnā jaldī vikarma vināśh hōṅgē utnā jaldī bāp K|kē galē kā hār banē̃gē .
124The sooner your sins are absolved, the sooner you will become the garland around the Father's neck.
122Tum ab vah 4 dhām ādi nahī̃ kartē hō .
125You no longer go on that pilgrimage to the four places.
123Vah sab bhaktimārg K|kē jismānī tīrthō̃ par jāē vahā̃ sē phir lauṭ ākar ghar mē̃ vikarmī bantē haĩ .
126People on the path of devotion go on physical pilgrimages and then, when they return home, they indulge in sinful acts.
124Jitnā samay yātrā par rahtē haĩ , utnā samay nirvikārī rahtē haĩ .
127For the duration of the time that they are on the pilgrimage, they remain viceless.
125Ājkal tō haridvār mē̃ jākar dēkhō paṇḍē lōg baṛē gandē rahtē haĩ .
128Just go to Haridwar nowadays and see; the guides living there are very dirty.
126Lōg yātrā par jātē haĩ tō pavitra rahtē haĩ aur vahā̃ K|kē rahvāsī paṇḍē lōg apavitr rahtē haĩ .
129When people go on pilgrimages, they remain pure whereas the guides who stay there remain impure.
127Tumhārī yātrā kitnī svachchha hai .
130Your pilgrimage is very clean.
128Kuchh bhī dhakkā ādi nahī̃ khānā hai .
131You don't have to stumble at all.
129Bābā kahtē haĩ lāḍlē bachchē uṭhtē baiṭhtē chaltē phirtē sirph mujhē yād karō .
132Baba says: Beloved children, while walking, sitting and moving around, simply remember Me.
130Yah ātmāō̃ sē bāt kar rahē haĩ .
133He speaks to souls. 134The souls hear with their organs.
131Ātmā in organs dvārā suntī hai .
135A soul speaks with a mouth and sees with eyes.
132Ātmā mukh sē bōltī hai , āṅkhō̃ sē dēkhtī hai . 133Ātmāyē̃ in āṅkhō̃ sē dikhāī nahī̃ paṛtī , na paramātmā dikhāī paṛtā .
136Neither souls nor the Supreme Soul can be seen with these eyes; neither can be seen except in a divine vision.
134Dōnō̃ kō divya dr̥iṣhṭi bigar dēkhā nahī̃ jā saktā hai .
137They can be realised and this is why it is said: There is a soul in me.
135Samjhā jātā hai tab kahtē haĩ hamārē mē̃ ātmā hai .
138My soul is unhappy. 139My soul sheds a body and takes another.
136Hamārī ātmā duḥkhī hai .
140It is the soul that speaks.
137Hamārī ātmā ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā jākar lētī hai . 138Ātmā bōltī hai nā .
141The Supreme Soul also speaks to souls: O beloved children, souls, you now have to come to Me.
139Paramātmā bhī ātmā sē bāt kartē haĩ - hē lāḍlē bachchē , ātmāyē̃ ab tumkō mērē pās|pass ānā hai .
142I am teaching you a pilgrimage. 143Unless you become pure, you cannot come to Me.
140Maĩ tumkō yātrā sikhlātā hū̃ .
144Souls are pure.
141Tum pavitra bannē sivāē mērē pās|pass ā nahī̃ saktē hō . 142Ātmā pavitra hai .
145At first, souls are satopradhan and they then go through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.
143Pahlē-pahlē ātmā satōpradhān hai phir satō rajō tamō guṇī hōtī hai .
146Even bodies go through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.
144Śharīr bhī satō rajō tamō hōtā hai . 145Satōpradhān kō gōrā , tamōpradhān kō sāṅvarā kahā jātā hai .
147Those who are satopradhan are said to be beautiful whereas those who are tamopradhan are said to be ugly.
146Kitnī samajh key|kī bāt hai .
148This is a matter of understanding.
147Tum jāntē hō ātmā aur paramātmā alag rahē bahukāl . . . . ab ākar phir milē haĩ .
149You souls know that you remained separated from the Supreme Soul for a long time.
148Manuṣhya , manuṣhya kē sāth milē̃gē .
150You have now met Him.
149Ātmā , ātmāō̃ kē sāth milēgī .
151Human beings meet human beings and souls meet souls.
150Paramātmā bhī vahā̃ milē̃gē .
152The Supreme Soul would also be found there.
151Ātmā aur paramātmā dōnō̃ kā sākṣhātkār divya dr̥iṣhṭi sē hōtā hai kyōṅki vah ati sūkṣhma hai , star hai .
153A sight of souls and the Supreme Soul can only be had in a divine vision because souls are extremely subtle; they are stars.
152Ab kōī bhī science ghamaṇḍī nahī̃ jō kah sakē ātmā key|kī pravēśhtā kaisē hōtī hai .
154No science experts can tell you how a soul enters a body.
153In bātō̃ kā unkō bilkul patā nahī̃ hai .
155They don't know anything about these things at all.
154Most beloved bāp hai .
156The Father is the most beloved.
155Bhakti mārg mē̃ ādhākalp bhakta bhagvān kō yād kartē haĩ .
157On the path of devotion, devotees have been remembering God for half a cycle.
156Aisē nahī̃ ki sab bhagvān haĩ .
158It isn’t that all are God.
157Sab bhagvān hō̃ tō bhakta ārādhnā , vandanā , sādhnā kyō̃ kartē , kisliē kartē ?
159If all were God, why do devotees pray and perform worship?

171Otherwise, the mercury of happiness should remain stable.
170In āṅkhō̃ sē vah rājāī dēkhtē haĩ tō khuśhī kāyam rahtī hai .
172If you saw your kingdom with your physical eyes, your happiness would remain all the time.
171Yahā̃ tum buddhiyōg sē jāntē hō ki rājāī miltī hai .
173Here, you know with your intellects’ yoga that you are to receive a kingdom.

178Bāp aur varsē kō yād karō phir jab ham yahā̃ āyēṅgē tō vah hōgī prālabdh .
180Remember the Father and the inheritance. 181Then, when we come down here, that will be our reward.

188You know that you are creating your future; you will experience your reward there.

189There, you won't remember that you are experiencing your reward.
188Phir tō puruṣhārth bhī yād paṛē .
190If you did, you would also remember the effort you made.
