Question
2Praśhna : satōpradhān puruṣhārthī kaun aur tamōpradhān puruṣhārthī kaun ? 3Dōnō̃ kā antar kyā hōgā ?
4Question: Who is a satopradhan effort-maker and who is a tamopradhan effort-maker? 5What is the difference between the two?
Answer
4Uttar : satōpradhān puruṣhārthī bāp sē pūrā varsā lēnē kā puruṣhārth vā pratigyā kartē haĩ , vah yād mē̃ rahnē key|kī race kartē haĩ aur number one jānē kā lakṣhya rakhtē haĩ .
6Answer: A satopradhan effort-maker promises to make effort to claim the full inheritance from the Father. 7He races to stay in remembrance. 8He has the aim of claiming number one.
5Tamōpradhān puruṣhārthī kahtē - jō takdīr mē̃ hōgā , achchhā , prajā banē̃gē tō prajā hī sahī .
9A tamopradhan effort-maker says, “Whatever is in my fortune is fine! 10It is fine if I become a subject.”
6Unkē āgē māyā kā aisā vighna ātā jō race sē hī bāhar nikal jātē .
11Maya causes such obstacles for such souls that they drop out of the race.
Song
7Gīt : mujhkō sahārā dēnē vālē …
12Song: The heart says thanks to the One who has given me support.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
13Om shanti.
9Bachchē jab sammukh baiṭhtē haĩ tō jāntē haĩ ham jīv ātmāyē̃ haĩ .
14When children sit here personally, they know that they are living souls.
10Yahā̃ tō jīv ātmāyē̃ hī hōṅgī nā .
15Here, there would only be living human souls.
11Jab ātmā kō śharīr nahī̃ hai tō naṅgī hai , usē aśharīrī kahā jātā hai .
16When a soul doesn’t have a body, it is naked. 17That is called being bodiless.
12Tum tō śharīr sahit baiṭhē hō .
18You are sitting here in your bodies.
13Ātmā vā param ātmā jab tak śharīr mē̃ na āyē tab tak bōl nahī̃ saktē .
19Unless souls and the Supreme Soul enter bodies, they cannot speak.
14Tum jīv ātmāyē̃ jāntī hō - ab bāp K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ .
20You living, embodied souls know that you are now sitting personally in front of the Father.
15Hūbahū jaisē 5 hajār varṣh pahlē sammukh āyē thē .
21You are sitting in exactly the same way as you did when you came in front of Him 5000 years ago.
16Bachchē jarūr bāp sē hī varsā lē̃gē .
22Children would definitely claim their inheritance from their fathers.
17Jāntē haĩ - ham apnē parampitā paramātmā bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ .
23You know that you are sitting personally in front of your unlimited Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.
18Kyō̃ baiṭhē haĩ ?
24Why are you sitting here?
19Bāp sē bēhad kā varsā lēnē .
25To claim your unlimited inheritance from the Father.
20Jaisē school mē̃ samajhtē haĩ ham teacher dvārā injīniyarī sīkhtē haĩ , bairisṭarī sīkhtē haĩ . 21Yah aim object rahtī hai .
26At school, they understand that they are studying with a teacher to become an engineer or a barrister; they have that aim and objective.
22Tum bachchē samajhtē hō parampitā paramātmā hamkō brahmā K|kē tan sē baiṭh rājyōg sikhātē haĩ .
27You children understand that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, sits in the body of Brahma and teaches you Raj Yoga.
23Bhagvānuvāch - yah tō bachchō̃ kō samjhāyā hai ki bhagvān nirākār kō kahā jātā hai .
28God speaks: It is explained to you children that the incorporeal One is called God.
24Jīvātmā punarjanma jarūr lētī hai .
29Living souls definitely take rebirth.
25Kōī bhī sannyāsī sē tum pūchhō - manuṣhya punarjanma lētē haĩ ? 26Tō aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki nahī̃ lētē haĩ .
30When you ask sannyasis whether human beings take rebirth, they wouldn’t say that human beings don’t take rebirth.
27Nahī̃ tō 84 lākh janm kaisē kahtē .
31How else would they speak of 8.4 million births?
28Pūchhō - tum punarjanma kō māntē hō ?
32Ask them: Do you believe in rebirth?
29Yah tō barōbar hai , ātmā saṅskārō̃ anusār ēk śharīr chhōṛ phir dūsrā lētī hai .
33It is true that a soul sheds a body and takes another according to his sanskars.
30Aisē-aisē kartē manuṣhya 84 lākh janm nahī̃ , parantu 84 janma lētē haĩ .
34Human beings do this but they don’t take 8.4 million births; they take 84 births.
31Issē siddha hōtā hai pahlā janm jarūr bahut achchhā satōpradhān hōgā .
35This proves that the first birth would be very good and satopradhan.
32Last mē̃ chhī-chhī tamōpradhān hōṅgē .
36Souls in their last birth would be dirty and tamopradhan.
3316 kalā sē phir 14 kalā , 12 kalā hōtī jāyēṅgī . 34Punarjanma jarūr lētē haĩ .
37From 16 celestial degrees, you become 14 degrees and then 12. You definitely take rebirth.
35Pūchhnā chāhiē - achchhā , parampitā paramātmā nē punarjanma liyā hai yā janm-maraṇ rahit haĩ ?
38You should ask them: OK, has God taken rebirth or is He beyond birth and death? 39Look, this is a very subtle point.
36Dēkhō , yah point bahut sūkṣhma hai . 37Agar kahē̃gē janm-maraṇ rahit hai tō phir śhiv jayantī siddha nahī̃ hōtī .
40If they say that He is beyond birth and death, tell them that that means it is not right to have Shiv Jayanti.
38Kahē̃gē śhiv jayantī tō manāī jātī hai .
41They would say: But Shiv Jayanti is celebrated.
39Samjhāyā jātā hai - hā̃ , śhiv jayantī hai parantu janm kē sāth phir marnā jiskō kahā jātā , vah nahī̃ hai .
42Explain to them: Yes, there is Shiv Jayanti. 43However, there isn’t the death that is associated with birth.
40Agar marē tō phir punarjanma lēvē .
44If He died, then He would also have to take rebirth.
41Bāp kabhī punarjanma nahī̃ lētē .
45The Father never takes rebirth.
42Vah is tan mē̃ ēk hī bār ātē haĩ , bas .
46Only once does He enter this body.
43Phir punarjanma mē̃ nahī̃ ātē .
47He doesn’t take rebirth.
44Parampitā paramātmā punarjanma rahit haĩ , vah kab satōpradhān sē tamō nahī̃ bantē .
48The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul is beyond rebirth. 49He never becomes tamo from satopradhan.
45Ātmāyē̃ tō sab janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātē-ātē patit ban jātī haĩ , phir bāp ātē haĩ pāvan banānē .
50All souls take birth and rebirth and become impure. 51The Father then comes to make them pure. 52This proves that souls become impure.
46Issē siddha hōtā hai ātmā hī patit hōtī hai .
53Souls come here pure and then Maya makes them impure.
47Ātmā pāvan ātī hai phir māyā patit banā dētī hai .
54The Father can never give dirty directions to the children.
48Bāp kabhī bhī bachchō̃ kō gandī mat nahī̃ dē saktē .
55Impure human beings give impure directions at this time.
49Is samay K|kē patit manuṣhya , patit mat dētē haĩ .
56The pure Father says: Don’t become impure, that is, don’t indulge in vice.
50Ab pāvan bāp kahtē haĩ ki patit nahī̃ banō arthāt vikārō̃ mē̃ nahī̃ jāō .
57This has become a land of sorrow through the dictates of Ravan being followed.
51Rāvaṇ key|kī mat sē duḥkhdhām ban gayā hai .
58First of all, there was the land of happiness.
52Pahlē sukhdhām thā , aisē nahī̃ bāp hī sukh-duḥkh dētē haĩ , nahī̃ .
59It isn’t that it is the Father who gives happiness and sorrow; no.
53Bāp kabhī bachchō̃ kō duḥkh key|kī mat dē nahī̃ saktē .
60The Father can never give children directions that cause sorrow.
54Māyā hī duḥkh dētī hai .
61It is Maya that causes sorrow.
55Us māyā par jīt pānē sē hī tum jagat jīt bantē hō .
62By conquering that Maya you become the conquerors of the world.
56Manuṣhya māyā kā arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē , vah dhan kō māyā kah dētē haĩ .
63People don’t understand the meaning of Maya. 64They consider wealth to be Maya.
57Kahtē haĩ nā inkō māyā kā naśhā bahut hai .
65It is said: This one has a lot of intoxication of Maya.
58Parantu māyā 5 vikārō̃ kō kahā jātā hai .
66However, it is the five vices that are called Maya.
59Agar 5 vikārō̃ kā naśhā hai tō māyā ēkdam khā jātī hai .
67If you have the intoxication of the five vices, Maya will completely eat you.
60Satyug trētā mē̃ māyā kā naśhā hōtā nahī̃ .
68In the golden and silver ages, there is no intoxication of Maya.
61Vahā̃ rāvaṇ kā but banākar jalātē nahī̃ .
69They don’t burn an effigy of Ravan there.
62But kaṛē duśhman kā banāyā jātā hai .
70It is effigies of powerful enemies that are made.
63Rāvaṇ rājya śhurū hōtā hai ādhākalp sē .
71Ravan’s kingdom begins after half a cycle.
64Dēh-ahaṅkār ānē sē phir aur vikār ā jātē haĩ .
72When you become body conscious, all the other vices also come.
65Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ kōī yah bātē̃ nahī̃ haĩ .
73These things are not mentioned in the scriptures.
66Likhā huā hai - dēvtāyē̃ vām mārg mē̃ arthāt vikārō̃ mē jātē haĩ .
74It is written that the deities go on to the path of sin, that is, they indulge in vice.
67Māyā K|kē vaśh hōnē sē parvaśh hō jātē haĩ .
75Because of coming under the influence of Maya, they are influenced by others.
68Parmat par chaltē rahtē haĩ .
76They continue to follow the dictates of others.
69Abhī tum chaltē hō śhrīmat par .
77You are now following shrimat.
70Parmat mānā māyā key|kī mat .
78The dictates of others means the dictates of Maya.
71Śhrī arthāt śhrēṣhṭh mat hai bāp key|kī .
79“Shri” means the elevated directions of the Father.
72Vah hai parmat rāvaṇ key|kī mat isliē bāp nē kahā hai āsurī sampradāy sab rāvaṇ key|kī jañjīrō̃ mē̃ duḥkhī haĩ .
80Those are the dictates of others, the dictates of Ravan. 81This is why the Father has said: The devilish community is unhappy in the chains of Ravan.
73Manuṣhyō̃ nē satyug key|kī āyu lākhō̃ varṣh samajh lī hai .
82Human beings have understood the duration of the golden age to be hundreds of thousands of years.
74Tō tum hisāb-kitāb batātē hō 5 hajār varṣh kaisē haĩ .
83Therefore, you explain to them the account of 5000 years.
75Christ kō dō hazār varṣh huā , buddha kō 2250 varṣh huā , phir islāmī kō 2500 varṣh huē .
84It is 2000 years since Christ existed, 2250 years since Buddha existed and 2500 since those of Islam came into existence.
76Sabkō milākar ādhākalp huā .
85All of those are in this half of the cycle.
77Inkē pahlē tō dēvtāō̃ kā rājya thā phir dēvtāō̃ kō lākhō̃ varṣh kaisē kah saktē .
86Before that, it was the kingdom of deities, so how can you say that it is hundreds of thousands of years since the deities existed?
78Itnē varṣh hōtē phir tō manuṣhya bahut hō jātē .
87If there were that many years, there would be a lot of people.
79Itnē tō haĩ nahī̃ .
88There aren’t that many.
805 hajār varṣh mē̃ hī karōṛō̃ manuṣhya hō jātē haĩ .
89In 5000 years, there are five to six billion people.
81Kahtē bhī haĩ Christ sē 3 hazār varṣh pahlē bhārat mē̃ ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm thā .
90They say that 3000 years before Christ, there was the original, eternal, deity religion in Bharat.
825 hazār varṣh pūrē hō jātē haĩ , nāṭak pūrā tō hōtā hai nā .
91When 5000 years are completed, the play comes to an end.
83In bātō̃ kō kōī jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .
92No one knows these things – whatever I am, however I am.
84Maĩ jō hū̃ , jaisā hū̃ , yah chakra kaisē phirtā hai .
93No one knows how this cycle turns.
85Kōī jān na sakē . 86Bāp hī samjhātē haĩ yah hai gītā .
94The Father alone explains: This is the Gita.
87Bāp nē ākar sahaj rājyōg sikhāyā thā , tab unkā nām gītā rakhā hai .
95The Father came and taught you easy Raj Yoga and that is why it is called the Gita.
88Jaisē Christ nē sikhāyā tō unkā nām Bible rakhā hai , yah anādi nām rakhē huē haĩ .
96For instance, the things Christ taught are called the Bible. 97That is an eternal name that has been given.
89Vah repeat hōtē haĩ .
98That repeats.
90Bābā buṛhiyō̃ kō bhī samjhātē haĩ , yah bahut sahaj bāt hai .
99Baba explains to the old mothers too: These are very easy matters.
91Sirph bāp aur varsē kō yād karō .
100Simply remember the Father and the inheritance.
92Bachchā paidā huā gōyā vāris paidā huā .
101When a child is born, it means an heir is born.
93Tum samajhtē hō ham bābā K|kē vāris haĩ .
102You understand that you are Baba’s heirs.
945 hazār varṣh bād phir sē milnē āyē haĩ .
103You have come to meet Baba once again after 5000 years.
95Ghaṛī-ghaṛī pañch hazār varṣh hī kahē̃gē .
104You would repeatedly speak of 5000 years.
962-3 varṣh pīchhē ānē vālē bhī kahē̃gē ham 5 hazār varṣh bād phir sē āyē haĩ .
105Even those who come two or three years later would say: We have come once again after 5000 years.
97Yah baṛī guhya bātē̃ haĩ .
106These are very deep matters.
98Bābā pūchhtē haĩ āgē kab milē hō ?
107Baba asks: Have we met before?
99Kahtē haĩ - hā̃ bābā .
108You reply: Yes Baba!
100Ātmā is mukh dvārā kahtī hai - ham 5 hazār varṣh pahlē āpsē milē thē .
109The soul says through this mouth: Baba, I met You 5000 years ago.
101Āp is tan dvārā śhikṣhā dēnē āyē thē .
110You came to give teachings through this body.
102Jō pakkē-pakkē bachchē haĩ samajhtē haĩ ham bāp sē bēhad kā varsā lēnē baiṭhē haĩ .
111Those who are real children understand that they are sitting here to claim their unlimited inheritance from the Father.
103Ham bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē banē haĩ brahmā dvārā .
112We now belong to the unlimited Father through Brahma.
104Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē pahchāntē hō ?
113The Father asks: Do you recognise Me?
105Maĩ tumhārā bāp hū̃ .
114I am your Father.
106Kahē̃gē hā̃ bābā ham ātmāō̃ kā āp parampitā paramātmā bāp hō .
115You would say: Yes, Baba, You are the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the Father of us souls.
107Bāp hī kahtē haĩ - tumkō hamnē svarg mē̃ bhējā thā , varsā diyā thā phir māyā nē chhīn liyā phir ab maĩ dētā hū̃ .
116The Father Himself says: I gave you the inheritance and sent you to heaven. 117Maya then snatched away that inheritance and I am now giving it to you once again.
108Māyā varsā chhīntī hai , bāp dilātē haĩ .
118Maya snatches your inheritance away, while the Father is giving it.
109Yah tō anēk bār khēl hō chukā hai , hōtā rahēgā . 110Iskā ant nahī̃ hai .
119This play has been performed many times and it will continue to be performed; there is no end to it.
111Bāp K|kē bantē haĩ phir kōī sagē , kōī lagē .
120You belong to the Father. 121Some are real and some are step.
112Kōī sautēlē , kōī mātēlē bantē haĩ .
122Some become real children and some become stepchildren.
113Kachchē pakkē tō haĩ nā .
123There are weak and strong ones.
114Pakkō̃ kō bhī māyā ēkdam jīt lētī hai .
124Maya completely conquers even the strong ones.
115Bachchē kahtē haĩ bābā ham jahā̃ tak jiyēṅgē āp sē varsā lētē rahē̃gē .
125Children say: Baba, I will continue to claim my inheritance for as long as I live.
116Vikarmō̃ kā bōjhā sir par bahut hai tō jitnā tum yād mē̃ rahē̃gē , us yōg agni sē tum ātmā pāpātmā sē puṇyātmā bantī jāyēṅgī .
126There is a big burden of sin on your heads. 127To the extent that you stay in remembrance, so you souls will accordingly become charitable souls from sinful souls with this fire of yoga.
117Āg chīz kō pavitra kartī hai .
128Fire purifies things.
118Tumhārī hai yōg agni .
129Your fire is the fire of yoga.
119Yah hai bēhad kā yagya , jō bēhad K|kē sēṭh nē rachā hai .
130This is a sacrificial fire that the unlimited Master has created.
120Itnā samay kōī bhī yagya nahī̃ chaltā hai .
131No other sacrificial fire continues for this length of time.
1215-7 rōz vā ēk mās yagya rachtē haĩ .
132They create sacrificial fires that last for five to seven days or for a month.
122Tumhārā yagya tō kitnē varṣhō sē chalā ātā hai .
133Your sacrificial fire has continued for so many years.
123Bāp sunātē hī rahtē haĩ .
134The Father continues to speak to you.
124Kahtē haĩ bhūl mat jānā .
135He says: Don’t forget!
125Sirph mujhē yād karō tō tumhārā janma-janmāntar K|kē vikarmō̃ kā bōjhā kaṭtā jāyēgā .
136Simply remember Me and your burden of sins of many births will continue to cut away.
126Kōī sannyāsī , vidvān ādi kō aisē kahnē āyēgā nahī̃ .
137None of the sannyasis or scholars would know how to say this.
127Bhagvānuvāch - mujh bāp kō yād karō .
138God speaks: Remember Me, your Father.
128Jarūr āyā huā hai tab tō kahtē haĩ nā . 129Bāp kahtē haĩ - ab tumkō vāpis jānā hai .
139He has definitely come and that is why He says: The Father says that you now have to return home.
130Tumhārī ātmā is samay bahut patit hai .
140You souls are very impure at this time.
131Ab tum jāntē hō yōg sē ham pāvan bantē jāyēṅgē .
141You know that you will now continue to be purified by having yoga.
132Bāp kahtē haĩ gyān amr̥it pīkar pāvan svarg kā mālik banō .
142The Father says: Drink the nectar of knowledge and become the masters of pure heaven.
133Yah sājan tum sab sajaniyō̃ kō pāvan banānē āyē haĩ , kahtē haĩ mujhē nirantar yād karō .
143This Bridegroom has come to purify you brides. 144He says: Constantly remember Me alone.
134Tumhārī hī pratigyā hai ki āp jab āyēṅgē tō aur saṅg tōṛ tum saṅg jōṛē̃gē .
145You promised: When You come, we will connect ourselves to You and break away from everyone else.
135Tum par vārī jāyēṅgē .
146We will surrender ourselves to You.
136Strī puruṣh par , puruṣh strī par balihār hōtē haĩ .
147A husband surrenders himself to his wife and a wife surrenders herself to her husband.
137Yahā̃ hai bāp par balihār jānā .
148Here, you have to surrender yourselves to the Father.
138Śhādī mē̃ ēk dō par balihār jātē haĩ nā .
149When they get married, they surrender themselves to one another.
139Ab bāp kahtē haĩ - manuṣhya par balihār nahī̃ jānā hai .
150The Father now says: Don’t surrender yourselves to human beings.
140Tumhārī pratigyā hai āp par balihār jāyēṅgē .
151You promised: I will surrender myself to You.
141Āp hamārē par balihār hōnā .
152You also surrender Yourself to me.
142Bāp kahtē haĩ tum balihār jāō tō 21 janm tumkō sadā sukhī banā dū̃gā .
153The Father says: When you surrender yourself to Me, I will make you constantly happy for 21 births.
143Kitnā bhārī varsā hai !
154This is such a huge inheritance.
144Ab bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ tumkō var arthāt varsā dētā hū̃ , sirph tum nirantar mujhē yād karō .
155The Father says: I now give you a blessing which is the inheritance. 156You must simply constantly remember Me alone.
145Śhrīmat sē hī tum śhrēṣhṭh banē̃gē , yah bhūlō mat .
157Only by following shrimat will you become elevated. 158Don’t forget this.
146Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā chitra bhī ghar mē̃ rakh dō .
159Place this picture of Lakshmi and Narayan in your home.
147Ham bāp sē phir sē varsā lē rahē haĩ .
160We are once again claiming our inheritance from the Father.
148Bāp paramdhām sē āyā huā hai .
161He has come from the supreme abode.
149Parantu māyā chīl bhī cum|kam nahī̃ hai , pañjā mār dētī hai .
162However, Maya, the eagle, is no less. 163She grabs you.
150Sabkī bāt nahī̃ hai , number-vār haĩ .
