Song
11Gīt : rāt K|kē rāhī …
9Song: O traveller of the night, do not become weary! 10The destination of the dawn is not far off.
Murli
12Ōm śhānti .
11Om shanti.
13Mīṭhē-mīṭhē puruṣhārthī bachchē is gīt kā arth|earth tō svayã jāntē hōṅgē , number-vār puruṣhārth anusār .
12You sweetest, effort-making children must know the meaning of this song yourselves, numberwise, according to your efforts.
14Jō yātrā par upasthit haĩ vē|way hī yathārth arth|earth samajh saktē haĩ .
13Only those who are present on this pilgrimage can understand the accurate meaning of the song.
15Ab yah yātrā hai rāt key|kī aur jismānī yātrāyē̃ hōtī haĩ din key|kī .
14This pilgrimage takes place at night, whereas physical pilgrimages take place during the day.
16Amarnāth , badrīnāth par jātē haĩ tō din kō saphar ( musāphirī ) kar rāt kō sō jātē haĩ . 17Aur tum bachchō̃ key|kī musāphirī hai rāt key|kī .
15When pilgrims go to Amarnath or Badrinath, they travel by day and sleep at night, whereas you children travel through the night.
18Din mē̃ tō tumkō śharīr nirvāh arth|earth kām karnā paṛtā hai .
16You have to work during the day for the livelihood of your bodies.
19Naukrī par jātē haĩ aur mātāyē̃ ghar sambhāltī haĩ .
17You go to work and the mothers look after the home.
20Sabsē jyādā unnati rāt kō hōtī hai , jabki sab manuṣhya sōyē huē hōtē haĩ .
18The maximum progress can be made at night when everyone else is asleep.
21Tumhārī us samay baṛī achchhī yātrā hō saktī hai .
19You can have a very good pilgrimage at that time.
22Bhakta lōg bhī savērē amr̥itvēlē yād mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
20Even devotees stay in remembrance in the early morning hours of nectar.
23Bachchē apnī unnati karnā chāhtē hō tō bāp rāy dētē haĩ - nīnd kō jītnē vālē banō .
21Children, if you want to make progress, the Father advises you: Become conquerors of sleep!
245 hazār varṣh pahlē bhī kahā thā .
22I also told you this 5000 years ago.
25Bhal savērē sō jāō .
23By all means go to bed early.
26Kahāvat hai « savērē sōnā savērē uṭhnā ' ' - yah guṇ manuṣhyō̃ kō baṛā banātā hai .
24There is a saying: “Early to bed, early to rise.” 25This quality makes human beings great.
27Barōbar tum kitnē sāhūkār bantē hō , jō kabhī tumkō paisē key|kī parvāh nahī̃ rahtī !
26You become so wealthy that you will never have to worry about money.
28Tumkō 21 janm kē liē varsā mil jātā hai śhivālay mē̃ .
27You receive the inheritance for 21 births in the land of Shiva.
29Yahā̃ tō tum janm by janm puruṣhārth kartē hō aur abhī kā tumhārā puruṣhārth 21 janmō̃ kā ban jātā hai .
28Here, you have been making effort for birth after birth, whereas the reward of the efforts of this time lasts for 21 births.
30Wonder hai nā .
29It is a wonder!
31Aisā kōī bhī puruṣhārth karānē vālā hai nahī̃ .
30No one else could inspire you to make such effort.
32Avināśhī bāp avināśhī puruṣhārth karātē haĩ .
31The imperishable Father inspires you to make imperishable effort.
33Yahā̃ tō paisē kē liē kyā nahī̃ kartē haĩ - bāp bachchō̃ kō , bachchē bāp kō bhī mār ḍāltē haĩ .
32Here, what do people not do for money? 33A father would kill his children and children would kill their father.
34Tumhē̃ ab avināśhī bāp sē avināśhī varsā lēnā hai , tō avināśhī bāp aur varsē kō yād karnā hai .
34You now have to claim your imperishable inheritance from the eternal Father, and so you have to remember the eternal Father and the imperishable inheritance.
35Aur kōī taklīph nahī̃ , sirph dō akṣhar haĩ . 36Iskō mahāmantra kahā jātā hai .
35There is no other difficulty; there are simply two words, which are called the great mantra.
37Bas , yah dō akṣhar yād karnē sē tumkō rāj-tilak mil jātā hai .
36Simply by remembering these two words, you receive the tilak of sovereignty.
38Ab is yād mē̃ hai bal .
37There is power in this remembrance.
39Jitnā jō yād karē̃gē . 40Yōg aur gyān .
38It depends on how much remembrance you have and how much yoga and knowledge you have.
41Śhāstrō̃ ādi K|kē gyān key|kī yahā̃ bāt nahī̃ .
39There is no question of the knowledge of the scriptures here.
42Dō akṣhar yād karnē kē liē kahtē haĩ tō phursat nahī̃ rahtī hai .
40If you tell people to remember just these two words, they would say that they don’t have time.
43Kah dētē haĩ ham yād nahī̃ kar saktē , ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jātē haĩ . 44Dō akṣhar key|kī yātrā nahī̃ kar saktē !
41They cannot remember; they forget again and again and they therefore cannot make the pilgrimage of two words.
45Tum lōg gīt , kavitā , dialogue banātē hō , yād kartē hō , vāstav mē̃ in sabkī yahā̃ darkār nahī̃ hai .
42You compose songs, poems and dialogues and you then remember them. 43In fact, there is no need for those here.
46Yahā̃ tō chup rahnā hai .
44Here, you have to remain silent.
47Kyā tum bīj aur jhāṛ kō nahī̃ samajh saktē hō .
45Can you not understand the Seed and the tree?
48Bīj kō hāth mē̃ lēnē sē hī sārā jhāṛ sāmnē ā jāyēgā .
46By your grasping the meaning of the Seed, the whole tree will be visible in front of you.
49Ismē̃ chār yug aur chār varṇa haĩ .
47There are four ages and four clans in this.
50Yah sab buddhi mē̃ lānā , dērī nahī̃ lagtī hai .
48It does not take time to bring all of this into your intellect.
51Second mē̃ svarg kī bādśhāhī mil jātī hai . 52Sirph yād mē̃ rahnā hai .
49You receive the kingdom of heaven within a second simply by staying in remembrance.
53Second mē̃ sākṣhātkār karāyā jātā hai .
50Visions are granted within a second.
54Us samay jaisē svarg vā kr̥iṣhṇapurī mē̃ haĩ .
51At that moment, it is as though you are in heaven, the land of Krishna.
55Sirph dō bātē̃ yād karnī haĩ - ēk tō bāp kī yād , dūsrā yah knowledge bahut ūñch hai manuṣhya sē dēvtā bannē key|kī . 56Dēvtāyē̃ tō pavitra hōtē haĩ .
52You only have to remember two things: Firstly, remember the Father. 53Secondly, this knowledge is so elevated that it enables you to become deities from human beings. 54Deities are pure.
57Knowledge hamēśhā brahmcharya mē̃ paṛhī jātī hai .
55Knowledge is always studied in a state of celibacy.
58Jab paṛhkar ghar sambhālnē lāyak banē̃ tab bād mē̃ śhādī karnī hōtī hai .
56It is only after studying and when they are ready to look after a home that they then get married.
59Apnē ghar vālō̃ kō creator sambhālē̃gē , isliē apnī kamāī chāhiē nā .
57A creator (father) has to look after everyone at home, which is why he has to earn money.
60Tō brahmcharya mē̃ kamāī hōtī hai .
58Therefore, this income is earned in a state of celibacy.
61Ājkal tō dhan K|kē bhūkhē hō gayē haĩ . 62Thōṛī āmdanī huī phir dūsrā course kartē haĩ .
59Nowadays, people have become greedy for wealth: they earn some income and then go and do another course.
63Ab bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchō̃ , yah course bahut sahaj hai sirph śhrīmat par rāt kō jāgkar practice karō .
60Now, the Father says: Children, this course is very easy. 61Simply follow shrimat, stay awake at night and practise this.
64Rāt kō buddhi key|kī yātrā karnā bahut sahaj hai aur madad bhī bahut milēgī .
62It is very easy to have the pilgrimage of the intellect during the night and you will also receive a great deal of help.
65Dō tīn bajē amr̥itvēlā kahā jātā hai .
63Two to three o’clock is called the early morning hours of nectar.
66Savērē uṭhkar svadarśhan chakra phirānā hai . 67Yah buddhi kā kām hai .
64Wake up early in the morning and spin the discus of self-realization.
68Bāp kā pharmān hai - nirantar mujhē yād karō tō tumhārē vikarma vināśh hōtē jāyēṅgē .
65This is the task of your intellects. 66The Father’s order is: Remember Me constantly and your sins will continue to be absolved.
69Nahī̃ tō tum sajaniyō̃ kō kaisē lē jāyēṅgē .
67Otherwise, how could I take you brides home?
70Tum sajniyā̃ hō patit , sabkē paṅkh ṭūṭē huē haĩ .
68All of you brides are impure and your wings are broken.
71Ab sirph yād karō tō pavitra ban jāyēṅgē .
69Now simply have remembrance and you will become pure.
72Savērē uṭhnē kā prayatna karō .
70Make effort to wake up early in the morning.
73Din mē̃ tō yād na bhī ṭhaharē , rāt kō puruṣhārth karnā sahaj hai aur madad bhī bahut milēgī .
71You might not be able to have remembrance throughout the day. 72It is easy to make this effort at night, and you will receive a great deal of help.
74Mukhya hai yād .
73The main thing is remembrance.
75Tum jāntē hō ham ātmā haĩ . 76Hamkō parampitā paramātmā paṛhā rahē haĩ .
74You know that you are souls and that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is teaching you.
77Unsē paṛhnā hai .
75You have to study with Him.
78Vah bāp bhī hai , unkā bannā hai .
76He is your Father and so you have to belong to Him.
79Tum jāntē hō ham ātmāyē̃ ākar śhivbābā sē milī haĩ . 80Ātmā paramātmā alag rahē bahukāl . . . jīv ātmāyē̃ ākar bāp sē miltī haĩ .
77You understand that you are the souls who have been separated from the Supreme Soul for a very long time and that you have now come and met Shiv Baba.
81Tō jarūr paramātmā kō bhī jīv ātmā bannā paṛē . 82Vah tō supreme ātmā hai .
78Living (human) souls come to meet the Father, and so the Supreme Soul also has to come in a human body.
83Ātmā paramātmā kā rūp ēk hī hai .
79He is the Supreme Soul.
84Jaisē stars chamaktē haĩ , ātmā mē̃ 84 janmō̃ kā part bharā huā hai .
80The form of souls and that of the Supreme Soul are the same; both are like sparkling stars.
85Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ bhī actor hū̃ .
81You souls are filled with parts of 84 births.
86Maĩ bhī drama K|kē bandhan mē̃ bāndhā huā hū̃ .
82The Father says: I too am an Actor and I am also bound by the drama.
87Yah duniyā nahī̃ jāntī ki kalp-kalp saṅgamyug K|kē sivāē kab ā nahī̃ saktā hū̃ .
83The world doesn’t know that I cannot come at any time other than at the confluence age of every cycle.
88Āphatē̃ ādi tō bahut ātī rahtī haĩ . 89Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ ātā hī tab hū̃ jab sab patit ban jātē haĩ .
84Although many calamities etc. come, the Father says: I only come when everyone becomes impure.
90Maĩ hī naī duniyā kā rachayitā hū̃ . 91Ātā hī patit duniyā mē̃ hū̃ .
85I am the Creator of a new world and I come in an impure world.
92Patit pahlē ātmā bantī hai .
86It is the soul that becomes impure first.
93Ātmā jāntī hai ham pahlē pāvan thē , ab patit banē haĩ .
87The soul knows that he was at first pure and that he has now become impure.
94Yah śhikṣhā tumkō hī miltī hai .
88Only you receive these teachings.
95Teacher K|kē sāmnē jō student hōtē haĩ unkō hī śhikṣhā miltī hai .
89The students who remain present in front of the Teacher are the ones who receive all the teachings.
96Tumkō yah śhikṣhā pahlē-pahlē miltī hai . 97In 5 vikārō̃ kō jītō . 98Yōg agni sē vikarmō̃ kō bhasma karō .
90The very first teachings you receive are: Conquer the five vices; burn your sins away with the fire of yoga.
99Is viṣh ( vikār ) nē hī tumkō kabradākhil kar diyā hai , iskō poison kahā jātā hai .
91It is poison (vice) that has buried you in the graveyard; it is called poison.
100Gyān amr̥it sē tum pavitra ban jātē hō .
92You become pure with the nectar of knowledge.
101Bāp aur varsē kō yād karnā , hai tō bahut sahaj .
93It is very easy to remember the Father and the inheritance.
102Kaī bachchiyā̃ kahtī haĩ bābā dhārṇā nahī̃ hōtī , baṛī bahanō̃ muāphik samjhā nahī̃ saktē haĩ .
94Some children say: Baba, I am not able to imbibe knowledge; I cannot explain like the senior sisters do.
103Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē , yah tō harēk K|kē karma kā hisāb-kitāb hai .
95The Father says: Children, these are the karmic accounts of everyone.
104Kōī tō 25-30 varṣh rahtē huē bhī dhārṇā nahī̃ kar saktē haĩ .
96Some are not able to imbibe knowledge even after living here for 25 to 30 years.
105Tum ātmāō̃ kā tō bāp paramātmā hai . 106Vah svarg kā rachayitā hai .
97The Father of you souls is the Supreme Soul and He is the Creator of heaven.
107Bāp svarg kā varsā dēnē hī āyē haĩ . 108Tum bāp kō tō yād karō .
98The Father has come to give you your inheritance of heaven, and so you have to remember the Father.
109Bachchō̃ kō bhī hōśhiyār karnā hai .
99Your children also have to be made clever.
110Tum bachchō̃ kō pahlē rahm karnā chāhiē - apnē bachchō̃ par .
100You children first have to have mercy for your children.
111Tum bachchē samajhtē hō ham is samay apnē most beloved parampitā paramātmā K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ .
101You children understand that, at this time, you are sitting personally in front of the most beloved, Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.
112Kalp pahlē bhī hamnē nirākār bāp sē bēhad kā varsā svarg kā liyā thā .
102We also claimed our unlimited inheritance of heaven from the incorporeal Father a cycle ago.
113Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē bhī is śharīr kā loan lēnā paṛtā hai .
103The Father says: I have to take this body on loan.
114Kirāyē par baiṭhē haĩ .
104He is sitting in this rented body.
115Apnā na hōnē sē jarūr kirāyē sē hī lē̃gē .
105Since He does not have a body of His own, He has to rent one.
116Yah rath hai jismē̃ kalp-kalp rathī bantē haĩ .
106This is the chariot of which He becomes the Charioteer every cycle.
117Rath mē̃ rathī dēkh rahē haĩ nā .
107You can see the Charioteer in this chariot.
118Āgē tō gītā paṛhnē sē kuchh bhī samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā thā .
108Previously, you did not understand anything from studying the Gita.
119Kahā̃ vah arjun aur ghōṛō̃ kā rath baiṭh dikhāyā hai .
109They have shown Arjuna seated in a horse chariot.
120Tumhārā bāp rathī hai , bachchō̃ kō kahtē haĩ mujh bāp kō yād karō phir chart rakhō .
110Your Father is the Charioteer. 111He says to you children: Remember Me, your Father, and keep a chart.
121Aisā sājan jō 21 janm sukh dētē unkō kyō̃ nahī̃ yād karē̃gē .
112Why do you not remember such a Bridegroom who gives you happiness for 21 births?
122Parantu yah hai gupta .
113However, that One is incognito.
123Ab bāp kahtē haĩ apnē kō ātmā niśhchay kar phir bāp key|kī śhrīmat par chalnā hai , ismē̃ hī māyā baṛā hairān kartī hai .
114The Father now says: Have the faith that you are souls and follow the Father’s shrimat. 115However, it is in this that Maya harasses you a great deal.
124Vah bhī cum|kam ustād nahī̃ hai . 125Achchhē-achchhē bachchō̃ kō bhī jīt lētī hai .
116She is no less clever; she also wins the very good children.
126Bābā svarg kā mālik banāvē aur māyā chaṇḍāl K|kē janm mē̃ lē jāvē kyōṅki śhrīmat chhōṛ dētē haĩ .
117Baba makes you souls into the masters of heaven and Maya tries to reduce you to the birth of a cremator because you stop following shrimat.
127Yahā̃ bachchē jāntē haĩ hamkō bhagvān paṛhātē haĩ .
118Here, you children understand that God is teaching you.
128Tum godly student hō nā .
119You are Godly students.
129Bhal dūsrā bhī course uṭhātē phir bhī teacher kō yād karē̃gē .
120Even though you take up some other courses, you would still remember the Teacher.
130Bāp kahtē haĩ - bhal gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahō , parantu sadā sukhī bannē kē liē sāth mē̃ dūsrā course uṭhāō .
121The Father says: By all means, live at home with your families but, together with that, take this course that makes you ever happy.
131Maĩ tumhē̃ athāh dhan dētā hū̃ jō tum 21 janm kabhī duḥkh nahī̃ dēkhē̃gē .
122I give you such unlimited wealth that you will not have to experience sorrow for 21 births.
132Tumhārē jaisā aklmand sr̥iṣhṭi bhar mē̃ kōī nahī̃ hōtā .
123No one in the entire world is as sensible as you.
133President ādi key|kī kitnī mahimā kartē haĩ . 134Parantu tum most wonderful incognito baṛī authority hō .
124There is so much praise of Presidents etc., but you are the most wonderful, great incognito authorities.
135Tumhārē jaisā knowledgeful is duniyā mē̃ kōī hō nahī̃ saktā .
125No one in this world can be as full of knowledge as you.
136Ab tum bachchē jāntē hō bhārat kō ham svarg banāē 21 janm kē liē svarg kā mālik ban rahē haĩ .
126You children now understand that, by making Bharat into heaven, you are becoming the masters of heaven for 21 births.
137Jagat ambā kō kitnī baṛī prāpti hai .
127Jagadamba’s attainment is so great.
138Vah bhī yahī mahāmantra dētī hai ki śhivbābā kō yād karō .
128She also gives the great mantra to remember Shiv Baba.
139Bāp sammukh kahtē haĩ - lāḍlē bachchē , mujhē yād karō .
129The Father sits here and personally says: Beloved children, remember Me.
140Yah yātrā bhūlō mat .
130Do not forget this pilgrimage.
141Time west|waste na karō .
131Do not waste time.
142Yah bahut bhārī kamāī hai .
132This is a huge income.
143Buddhiyōg vahā̃ lag jānā chāhiē .
133Your intellects’ yoga should remain there.
144Ham śhivbābā K|kē sammukh haĩ .
134We are personally in front of Shiv Baba.
145Bāp K|kē ghar āyē haĩ .
135We have come to the Father’s home.
146Abhī tō tum haridvār mē̃ baiṭhē hō .
136You are now sitting at Haridwar (God’s Gateway).
147Harī paramātmā khud baiṭhē haĩ .
137Hari (God) Himself, the Supreme Soul, is sitting here.
148Vahā̃ tō pānī hai .
138There (at Haridwar), there is water.
149Yah sachchā-sachchā harī kā dvār hai .
139This is the true doorway to God.
150Her|har her|har yānī duḥkh harnē vālā .
140Har Har (Remover) means the One who removes sorrow.
151Yahā̃ vah duḥkh hartā sukh kartā tumhārē sāmnē baiṭhā hai .
141That Remover of Sorrow and Bestower of Happiness is sitting here in front of you.
152Bhakta lōg jākar gaṅgā K|kē kinārē baiṭhtē haĩ , samajhtē haĩ gaṅgā kā taṭ hō , gaṅgā jal mukh mē̃ hō .
142Devotees go and sit on the banks of the River Ganges. 143They believe that they should remain on the banks of the Ganges and also have the water of the Ganges in their mouths.
153Jab kōī martē haĩ tō gaṅgājal pilātē haĩ .
144When someone is dying, they give him the water of the Ganges to drink.
154Ab gaṅgā patit-pāvnī nahī̃ hai .
145Now, the water of the Ganges is not the Purifier.
155Patit-pāvan hai hī śhivbābā .
146Shiv Baba alone is the Purifier.
156Harēk kō yād us śhivbābā kō karnā hai tō ant matī sō gati hō jāyēgī .
147Everyone has to remember Shiv Baba so that their final thoughts will lead them to their destination.
