Song
10Gīt : jō piyā kē sāth hai …
10Song: The rain of knowledge is on those who are with the Beloved.
Murli
11Ōm śhānti .
11Om shanti.
12Godly student nē yah gīt sunā .
12You Godly students heard this song.
13Tum bachchē hī godly student hō .
13Only you children are Godly students.
14Aisē nahī̃ ki sabhī skūlō̃ mē̃ godly student hōtē haĩ .
14It isn't that there are Godly students in all schools; no.
15Nahī̃ , vahā̃ tō manuṣhya paṛhātē haĩ .
15Human beings teach there.
16Sannyāsī bhī śhāstra sunātē haĩ .
16Sannyasis relate the scriptures.
17Gyān kō vāstav mē̃ kōī barsāt nahī̃ kahā jātā hai .
17In fact, knowledge is not called rain. 18Rain is water.
18Barsāt tō pānī key|kī hōtī hai . 19Parantu yah mahimā gāī huī hai kyōṅki parampitā paramātmā kō gyān sāgar bhī kahā gayā hai .
19However, this praise has been remembered because the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is also called the Ocean of Knowledge.
20Bāp kahtē haĩ - mujhē gyān sāgar knowledgeful bhī kahtē haĩ .
20The Father says: I am also called the Ocean of Knowledge, the knowledge-full One.
21Knowledge kō barsāt , pānī vā amr̥it nahī̃ kahā jātā .
21Knowledge is not called rain, water or nectar.
22Jaisē mān sarōvar kā tālāb hai . 23Amr̥itsar mē̃ bhī ēk tālāb hai jiskō vē|way lōg amr̥it samajhtē haĩ .
22Just as there is the Mansarovar Lake, so there is also a lake at Amritsar (Amrit - nectar, sar - lake) which those people consider to be nectar.
24Yah bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
23The Father sits here and explains this.
25Paṛhāī kō amr̥it vā barsāt nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
24A study cannot be called nectar or rain.
26Samajhtē haĩ - amr̥it hai , issē duḥkh dūr hō jāyēṅgē .
25They believe that that is nectar with which their sorrow will be removed.
27Vāstav mē̃ tō is knowledge sē tumhārē sab duḥkh dūr hōtē haĩ 21 janmō̃ K|kē liyē .
26In fact, all your sorrow is removed for 21 births through this knowledge.
28Jō piyā kē sāth hai unkē liyē barsāt hai .
27The rain of knowledge is on those who are with the Beloved.
29Yahā̃ yah bāp , teacher , satgurū - tīnō̃ hī combined haĩ .
28Here, this Father, Teacher and Satguru - all three - are combined.
30Yah ēk bāt bhī bachchē yād rakhē̃ tō khuśhī kā pārā chaṛh jāyē .
29If you children remember even this one aspect, your mercury of happiness can rise.
31Parantu māyā ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhulā dētī hai .
30However, Maya repeatedly makes you forget.
32Yahā̃ tum bachchē chaltē hō śhrīmat par .
31You children here follow shrimat.
33Śhrīmat sē tum śhrēṣhṭh bantē hō .
32You become elevated by following shrimat.
34Bhagvān hai ūñchē tē ūñchā bāp .
33The highest-on-high Father is God.
35Ūñchē tē ūñch bāp key|kī paṛhāī sē hī ūñch tē ūñch ban saktē hō .
34Only by studying with the highest-on-high Father can you become the highest on high.
36Ab jō piyā K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ , sab student haĩ .
35Those who are personally sitting in front of the Beloved are students.
37Yahā̃ baiṭhē̃gē , paṛhkar phir apnē ghar jānā hai .
36You sit here, you study and you then go back home.
38Din-pratidin student tō bahut hō jāyēṅgē .
37Day by day, there will be many more students.
39Agar sabhī kō ēk hī ghar mē̃ sāth rakhē̃ tō kitnā baṛā makān chāhiyē !
38If all of them were to live together in the one home, such a big building would be needed.
40Sārā ābū makān banā dē̃ tō bhī pūrā nahī̃ hōgā .
39If even the whole of Abu were to be made into one building, it would not be big enough.
41Kitnē centres haĩ ?
40There are so many centres.
42Abhī tō ajun thōṛē haĩ , issē bhī hajār guṇā jāstī hōṅgē .
41Now, there are still only a few, but there will be a thousand times more centres.
43Ēk hajār , dō hajār , pāñc-sāt hajār bhī centres hō saktē haĩ .
42There can be one thousand, two thousand or five to seven thousand centres.
44Phir ghar-ghar mē̃ yah gyān-gaṅgāyē̃ gyān kī varṣhā karē̃gī .
43You Ganges of knowledge will then take the rain of knowledge into every home.
45Itnē ḍhēr bachchē hō jāyēṅgē .
44There will be so many children.
46Jahā̃-tahā̃ dēkhō centres khōltē rahtē haĩ .
45You can see that they are opening centres everywhere.
47Kōī gītā pāṭhśhālā nām rakhtē haĩ , kōī brahmākumārī īśhvarīy viśhva vidyālay nām rakhtē haĩ .
46Some call it a Gita Pathshala and others call it the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
48Vāstav mē̃ brahmākumārī nām rakhnē sē ḍarnā nahī̃ chāhiyē .
47In fact, you mustn't be afraid of calling yourselves Brahma Kumaris.
49Kaī bachchē ḍartē haĩ ki be|B . K|kē . nām dēkh haṅgāmā na kar dē̃ isliyē gītā pāṭhśhālā nām rakh dētē haĩ .
48Some children are afraid that people will cause an upheaval when they see the name of the BKs. 49This is why they call it a Gita Pathshala.
50Gītā pāṭhśhālā akṣhar tō common hai .
50The name ‘Gita Pathshala’ is common.
51Samajhtē haĩ - kōī vighna na paṛē isliyē be|B . K|kē . nām badal dūsrā rūp dē dētē haĩ .
51They change the name ‘BKs’ and give it another name so that there are no obstacles created.
52Vāstav mē̃ tō bāt ēk hī hai .
52In fact, it is the same thing.
53Andar ghusnē sē chitra ādi dēkh jhaṭ samajh jāyēṅgē - yah tō vahī be|B . K|kē . haĩ isliyē nām badalnē key|kī aisī jarūrat nahī̃ hai .
53As soon as they enter and see your pictures, they would understand that you are the same BKs. 54Therefore, there is really no need to change the name.
54Issē tō achchhī rīti siddha hōtā hai ki vāstav mē̃ yah brahmā key|kī santān brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ haĩ .
55This name proves very well that you are, in fact, Brahma Kumaris, children of Brahma.
55Yah tō achchhā hai nā .
56This is good.
56Tum sabsē kah saktē hō - vāstav mē̃ tum bhī brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ hō .
57You can tell everyone: In fact, you too are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
57Prajāpitā brahmā kō tō jāntē hō .
58You know Prajapita Brahma.
58Vah rachayitā hai manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi kā .
59He is the creator of the human world.
59Nirākār parampitā paramātmā kōī ātmāō̃ kā rachtā nahī̃ , vah tō ātmāō̃ kā anādi bāp hai .
60The incorporeal Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is not the Creator of souls; He is the eternal Father of souls.
60Prajāpitā brahmā bhī tō anādi hai .
61Prajapita Brahma is also eternal.
61Ātmāō̃ kā bāp inmē̃ ātē haĩ .
62The Father of souls enters this one.
62Ākar brahmā kō adopt kartē haĩ - prajā rachnē K|kē liyē .
63He comes and adopts Brahma in order to create people.
63Brahmā dvārā brāhmaṇ kul rachnā hai .
64The Brahmin clan has to be created through Brahma.
64Yah tō samjhānē mē̃ aur hī sahaj hōgā .
65It will then be even easier to explain this.
65Parantu ḍartē haĩ .
66However, people are afraid.
66Kahē̃gē be|B . K|kē . kē pās mat jāō .
67They are told: Do not go to the BKs.
67Gītā pāṭhśhālā mē̃ bhal jāō .
68You may go to a Gita Pathshala.
68Ghar-ghar mē̃ gyān-gaṅgā kā arth|earth bhī manuṣhya nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ .
69People don't understand the meaning of "Ganges of knowledge in every home”.
69Bhakti mārg mē̃ nārad kō mukhya ginā jātā hai .
70On the path of devotion, Narad is considered to be a main one.
70Jhāñjh bajānē vālā bhakta thā .
71He was a devotee who played a musical instrument.
71Aisē nahī̃ , nārad kōī aisē rūp vālā hai jaisē chitra dikhātē haĩ .
72Narad wasn’t as he has been portrayed in the pictures. 73In fact, all of you were monkeys.
72Vāstav mē̃ bandar tō tum sabhī thē . 73Sūrat manuṣhya key|kī , sīrat bandar kī thī .
74Your features were those of human beings and your characters were those of monkeys.
74Yū̃ tō sab nārad haĩ . 75Sab bhakta haĩ nā .
75In fact, all are Narad; all are devotees.
76Samajh saktē haĩ - jab tak ham daivīguṇ vālē manuṣhya na banē̃ tab tak ham lakṣhmī kō var na sakē̃ .
76You are able to understand that you can’t marry Lakshmi until you become a human being with divine virtues.
77Sabhī male|mail|mēl athavā female bhakta nārad haĩ .
77All male and female devotees are Narad.
78Kahā jātā hai - apnī sīrat tō dēkhō , tum tō bandar hō kyōṅki tumhārē mē̃ 5 vikār haĩ , isliyē lakṣhmī kō var nahī̃ sakē̃gē .
78It is said: Look at your face! 79You are like a monkey! 80You have the five vices in you. 81Therefore, you won't be able to marry Lakshmi.
79Hai sārī yahā̃ key|kī bāt .
82All of that refers to this time.
80Bābā nē samjhāyā hai ki sabhī duśhāsan athavā duryōdhan haĩ .
83Baba has explained that all are Dushashans or Duryodhans (devils).
81Drōpadiyō̃ K|kē chīr hartē haĩ isliyē mātāyē̃ pukārtī haĩ - hamkō naṅgan hōnē sē bachāō , rakṣhā karō .
84They strip Draupadis and this is why the mothers call out to be saved from being stripped.
82Kanyāyē̃ kahtī haĩ - lāj rakhō giradhārī .
85Kumaris call out: Girdhari (the one who uplifts), maintain my honour!
83Nām tō bahut rakh diyē haĩ .
86They have given him (Krishna) many names.
84Manuṣhyō̃ kā buddhiyōg chalā jātā hai śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa taraph .
87The intellects’ yoga of human beings goes to Shri Krishna.
85Parantu kisī bhī dēhdhārī kō yād karnē sē vikarma vināśh nahī̃ hō saktē .
88However, sins cannot be absolved by remembering any bodily being.
86Sirph chāhtē haĩ sākṣhātkār hō .
89They just want to have a vision.
87Achchhā , sākṣhātkār hō jāyē parantu manuṣhya sē dēvtā bannē key|kī knowledge tō mil na sakē .
90Achcha, even if you do have a vision, you still can’t receive the knowledge to change from a human being into a deity.
88Jab brāhmaṇ banē̃ aur gyān kō samajhē̃ tab dēvtā ban sakē̃ .
91Only when you become Brahmins and understand this knowledge can you become deities.
89Brāhmaṇ bannē sē bhakti chhūṭ jātī hai .
92Once you become Brahmins you renounce devotion.
90Pahlē ēk haphtā ismē̃ dēnē sē ham manuṣhya kō mandir lāyak banā saktē haĩ .
93When someone first of all spends a week here, we can change that person and make him worthy of sitting in a temple.
91Parantu time tō lagtā hai .
94However, it does take time.
92Yah tō barōbar hai - tum bāp kē sāth hō .
95It is true that you are with the Father.
93Bābā kē pās ātē hō , phir jātē hō tō kitnā dil andar duḥkh hōtā hai !
96You come to Baba but then, when you go back home, you feel so much sorrow in your hearts.
94Lēkin sab tō sāth mē̃ nahī̃ rah sakē̃gē , yah hō na sakē .
97However, it is not possible for everyone to live here together.
95Kōī kahā̃ sē , kōī kahā̃ sē bhāg ātē haĩ .
98Some come running from one place, others come running from another place.
96Yah rasm yahā̃ hī hai .
99This system is of this time.
97Sādhū-santa ādi pās|pass tō ḍhēr jākar ikaṭṭhē hōtē haĩ .
100So many people gather together with sages and holy men.
98Kōī bhī kiskō manā nahī̃ kartē .
101No one forbids anyone from going there.
99Yahā̃ tō pavitra bannē key|kī bāt ātī hai isliē rōktē haĩ .
102Here, because there is the aspect of remaining pure, they stop others from coming.
100Sannyasiyō̃ mē̃ tō sirph males gharbār chhōṛ chalē jātē haĩ .
103Among the sannyasis, only males leave their homes and families and go away.
101Yahā̃ tō kumāriyā̃-mātāyē̃ sabhī haĩ .
104Here, there are kumaris and mothers too.
102Kanyāō̃ kō mā̃-bāp , doctor ādi kahtē haĩ - śhādī nahī̃ karē̃gī tō bīmār hō jāyēṅgī .
105Parents and doctors tell kumaris that they will fall ill if they don't marry.
103Unkō samjhānā chāhiyē - arē , sannyāsī kitnē bantē haĩ .
106It should be explained to them that so many become sannyasis.
104Bahut chhōṭē-chhōṭē brahmchārī vahā̃ rahtē haĩ .
107Very young ones remain celibate from birth.
105Phir vah brahmchārī tō kabhī bīmār nahī̃ hōtē .
108Those who remain celibate never fall ill.
106Yahā̃ kyō̃ bīmār hōṅgē ?
109Why would anyone fall ill here?
107Śhādī bigar tō ḍhēr rahtē haĩ .
110So many people live without getting married.
108Sannyāsiyō̃ kē ūpar bhī kōī case kar na sakē .
111No one can file a case against the sannyasis.
109Kabhī kōī strī unsē ghar kharcha nahī̃ māṅgtī hai .
112Their wives never ask them for housekeeping money.
110Vah tō bhāg jātē haĩ .
113They simply run away.
111Strī kharcha kahā̃ sē lāyē phir ās-pās vālē lōg unkō sambhāl lētē haĩ .
114Where would the wife get money from? 115Therefore, the neighbours look after her.
112Garīb jāstī bhāgtē haĩ .
116Poor ones run away more.
113Duḥkhī hōtē haĩ tō phir vairāgya ātā hai .
117When they experience sorrow, they have disinterest.
114Tum bhal duḥkhī thē parantu vah vairāgya key|kī bāt nahī̃ .
118Although you were unhappy, there was no question of that type of disinterest.
115Tumkō tō pahlē hathēlī par bahiśht dikhāyā jātā hai .
119You are first of all shown heaven on the palm of the hand.
116Pavitra bannē bigar baikuṇṭh kaisē jā sakē̃gē ?
120How would you be able to go to Paradise without becoming pure?
117Bahādur bannā chāhiyē isliyē hī śhivśhakti sēnā nām hai .
121You have to become courageous. 122This is why there is the name ‘The Shiv Shakti Army’.
118Śhivbābā sāth yōg lagānē sē śhakti miltī hai .
123You receive power by having yoga with Shiv Baba.
119Gyān key|kī dhārṇā hōnē kē bād phir samarpaṇ hōnā hai .
124After imbibing knowledge, you have to surrender yourself.
120Gyān key|kī dhārṇā nahī̃ hōgī , naṣhṭōmōhā nahī̃ hōṅgē tō māyā ākar pathakāyēgī .
125If you don't imbibe knowledge, if you don't conquer attachment, Maya harasses you.
121Śhādī karnē key|kī dil hōgī tō phir sārā brahmākumāriyō̃ kā nām badnām hō jātā hai .
126If you have a desire to get married, the Brahma Kumaris name would then be defamed. 127You first have to become a conqueror of attachment.
122Pahlē naṣhṭōmōhā bannā paṛē . 123Tum lōg itnē bhaṭṭhī mē̃ rahē tō bhī kitnē naṣhṭōmōhā nahī̃ banē , yād ātī rahī .
128So many of you stayed in the bhatthi and yet that many didn't become conquerors of attachment; they continued to remember others.
124Yahā̃ sē gayē , mitr-sambandhiyō̃ kā mũh dēkhā aur laṭṭū hō baiṭh gayē .
129They then left here, saw their friends and relatives and were attracted to them.
125Mōh nē ghēr liyā .
130Attachment trapped them.
126Yah bhī drama key|kī bhāvī .
131That was also destined in the drama.
127Abhī bhī bāp kahtē haĩ - pahlē-pahlē tō naṣhṭōmōhā banō .
132Even now, the Father says: First of all, become conquerors of attachment.
128Ēk most beloved bāp K|kē ban jāō .
133Belong to the one most beloved Father.
129Kuchh bhī hō jāyē , ham tō bāp key|kī hī service par rahē̃gē .
134No matter what happens, I will remain in the Father's service.
130Kahā jātā hai nā - chaṛhē tō chākhē baikuṇṭh ras , girē tō chaknāchūr .
135It is said: Those who ascend taste the sweetness of heaven, whereas those who fall are totally crushed.
131Aisē nahī̃ ki chhōṛkar ā jāyē̃ phir mōh satāyē . 132Aisē bahut sannyāsī lōg jākar phir vāpas lauṭ ātē haĩ .
136It shouldn't be that, once you have left them, you are then troubled by attachment to them. 137Many sannyasis leave everything and then go back home.
133Sannyāsī ghar mē̃ vāpis āyē̃ tō āspās vālē nirādar kartē haĩ .
138When sannyasis go back home to their families, the neighbours don't have that much regard for them.
134Samajhtē haĩ - yah kām K|kē liyē bhāgā hai .
139They believe that they have come back because of lust.
135Yahā̃ bhī samjhā jātā hai - yah pūrā naṣhṭōmōhā nahī̃ banā thā , vikārō̃ nē ghēr liyā .
140Here, too, it is understood that they didn't become complete destroyers of attachment and that the vices thereby trapped them.
136Bābā kē pās kōī khān-pān key|kī taklīph nahī̃ hai .
141There aren't any problems about food and drink with Baba.
137Śhurū sē lēkar kitnī sambhāl kartē āyē haĩ .
142From the very beginning, Baba has been looking after everyone so much.
138Garīb-sāhūkār ēk samān haĩ .
143Both poor and wealthy are equal.
139Mammā-bābā bhī sabkō sikhlānē liyē bartan māñjtē thē . 140Jhāṛū lagātē thē .
144Even Mama and Baba used to wash the dishes and sweep the floor in order to teach everyone.
141Dēh-abhimān tōṛnē K|kē liyē kiyā jātā hai .
145All of that was done to break body consciousness.
142Sannyāsī bhī aisē karātē haĩ .
146Sannyasis too make their followers do the same.
143Kōī baṛā ādmī hōgā tō unsē lakṛī ādi kaṭāyēṅgē - dēh-abhimān tōṛnē liyē .
147They make important people chop wood etc. so that their body consciousness is removed.
144Yahā̃ tō baṛī bhārī milkiyat miltī hai !
148Here, you receive plenty of wealth.
145Ēk second mē̃ 21 janm key|kī bādśhāhī !
149You receive sovereignty for 21 births in a second.
146Sannyāsiyō̃ kē pās tō kuchh bhī prāpti nahī̃ hai .
150Sannyasis don't receive any attainment at all.
147Bākī pavitra haĩ isliyē apavitr māthā ṭēktē haĩ .
151However, because they are pure, impure ones bow down to them.
148Yah tō rājyōg hai , viśhva kā mālik bantē haĩ .
152This is Raj Yoga and you become the masters of the world.
149Vikār mē̃ nahī̃ jānā hai .
153You mustn't indulge in vice.
150Mīrā bhī pavitra rahnā chāhtī thī nā .
154Meera too wished to remain pure.
151Vah tō bhakti mārg mē̃ thī .
155She belonged to the path of devotion.
152Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā dīdār kartī thī .
156She used to have visions of Shri Krishna.
153Uskī dil lagī śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa sē , tō bhalā vah vikār mē̃ kaisē jāyēgī ?
157Her heart was attached to Shri Krishna, so how could she indulge in vice?
154Sō bhī ēk janm .
158However, that was only for one birth.
155Karkē mīrā dūsrē janm mē̃ bhī bhakti mārg mē̃ gaī hō .
