Essence
1 « mīṭhē bachchē - sirph dō akṣhar yād karō - ham haĩ satgurū pōtrē jō brahmā bāp dvārā dādē kā varsā lētē haĩ ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, simply remember two sentences: We are the grandchildren of the Satguru. 2We claim our inheritance from our Grandfather through Father Brahma.
Question
2Praśhna : chaṛhē tō chākhē vaikuṇṭha ras … yah gāyan tum bachchō̃ sē lagtā , dūsrō̃ sē nahī̃ - kyō̃ ?
3Question: It is remembered that those who ascend taste the nectar of heaven, whereas every bone of those who fall is crushed. 4Why does this song apply to you children and no one else?
Answer
3Uttar : kyōṅki tumhārē sāmnē jabardast mañjil hai .
5Answer: It is because your destination is extremely high. 6You now go home to the Father in the supreme abode and you then go down into the new world.
4Tum bāp kē pās paramdhām ghar jātē hō , phir naī duniyā mē̃ ātē hō .
7This saying cannot apply to anyone else.
5Dūsrē kisī kē liē bhī yah gāyan nahī̃ hō saktā hai . 6Bhal unmē̃ bhī kachchē-pakkē number-vār hōtē haĩ lēkin unkē sāmnē mañjil nahī̃ hōtī .
8Sannyasis are numberwise; there are some weak ones among them and some who are strong but they do not have their destination in front of them.
7Vah vaikuṇṭha ras kō jāntē bhī nahī̃ .
9They don’t taste or experience heaven.
8Tum bachchē hī kahtē hō ab hamē̃ un rāhō̃ par chalnā hai jahā̃ girnā aur sambhalnā hai .
10Only you children say that you want to follow the path where you fall and have to be careful.
Song
9Gīt : hamē̃ un rāhō̃ par chalnā hai . . . . . . . .
11Song: We have to follow the path where we fall and also have to be careful.
Murli
10Ōm śhānti .
12Om shanti.
11Jab gīt bajtā hai tō bachchē samajhtē haĩ ki hamārē liē inmē̃ bhī gyān hai .
13When a song is played, you children understand that there is knowledge for us in the song.
12Agyānī manuṣhya kē liē agyān hai . 13Gyānī tū ātmā kē liē gyān hai .
14For ignorant people, there is only ignorance in it whereas for an enlightened soul, there is knowledge in it.
14Samajhtē hō barōbar māyā K|kē tūphān hī girātē haĩ phir īśhvar bāp chaṛhātē haĩ arthāt girē huē kō gyān key|kī sañjīvanī būṭī dētē haĩ .
15You understand that it is definitely the storms of Maya that make you fall and that the Father, God, raises you up, that is, He gives the life-giving herb of this knowledge to those who have fallen.
15Agar kōī kām K|kē tūphān mē̃ ā jātē haĩ tō gir jātē haĩ phir krōdh kā bhī tūphān lagtā hai tō girnā hōtā hai .
16Those who get caught up in a storm of lust fall; if they get caught up in a storm of anger too, they fall.
16Yah girnā aur chaṛhnā hōtā hai .
17This falling and ascending continues.
17Chaṛhē tō chākhē vaikuṇṭha ras . . . . . . . . ab yah gīt sivāē tumhārē aur kiskē sāth lag nahī̃ saktā .
18Those who ascend taste the nectar of heaven, whereas every bone of those who fall is crushed.
18Sannyāsiyō̃ sē bhī nahī̃ lag saktā . 19Bhal unhō̃ kē pās bhī kachchē sannyāsī hōṅgē parantu unhō̃ key|kī kōī mañjil nahī̃ hai .
19This song cannot apply to anyone except you; it doesn’t apply even to sannyasis, although there may be some weak sannyasis too.
20Tumhārī tō baṛē tē baṛī jabardast mañjil hai .
20None of them has a destination. 21Your destination is the highest of all.
21Vah karkē śhāstra ādi paṛhkar vidvān ban jātē haĩ . 22Bākī rājāī ādi key|kī kōī mañjil nahī̃ , ismē̃ baṛī ūñch mañjil hai .
22They study the scriptures etc. and perhaps become scholars, but they don’t have the destination of claiming a kingdom etc. 23Here, the destination is very high.
23Bachchē jāntē haĩ bēhad kā bāpdādā paṛhātē haĩ .
24You children understand that unlimited BapDada is teaching you.
24Mama bhī paṛhātī phir bachchē bhī paṛhātē haĩ .
25Mama also teaches and some children teach as well.
25Tum hō dādē pōtrē .
26You are the grandchildren of the Grandfather.
26Amr̥itsar mē̃ dādē pōtrē hōtē haĩ phir kahē̃gē yah sātvī̃ pīṛhī hai , yah dūsrī pīṛhī hai . 27Tum samajhtē hō satyug mē̃ bhī pīṛhī chaltī hai dēvtāō̃ key|kī .
27At Amritsar, when a grandfather and his grandchildren are together, it would be said, “This is the seventh generation” or “This is the second generation”.
28Pahlī pīṛhī , dūsrī pīṛhī . . . . . . . . yahā̃ phir tumhārī pīṛhiyā̃ nahī̃ . 29Ēk dādā , ēk bābā , ēk mama aur baccē-bacciyā̃ .
28You understand that there will be generations of deities in the golden age; there will be the first generation, the second generation etc. 29Here, you have no generations.
30Bas , dādē pōtrē sē āgē kuchh nahī̃ kahē̃gē . 31Ab yah yād karnā tō ati sahaj hai .
30There is one father, one Grandfather, one Mama and the rest are all children, that’s all!
32Ham brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ haĩ . 33Brahmā huā hamārā bābā .
31There is no one, other than the Grandfather and the grandchildren.
34Dādā hai śhiv . 35Unsē milkiyat miltī hai .
32It is now very easy to remember these things.
36Kitnī sahaj bāt hai . 37Ham dādē pōtriyā̃ brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ haĩ .
33We are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris and so Brahma is your father, and Shiva is your Grandfather.
38Brahmā ēk hī bachchā hai śhiv kā .
34We receive our property from Him.
39Aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki ham viṣhṇu kumārī athavā śhaṅkar kumārī haĩ .
35It is very easy to remember that you are the grandsons and granddaughters of the Grandfather: Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
40Prajāpitā ēk hī brahmā kō kahā jātā hai .
36Brahma is the only son of Shiva. 37It is not that we are Vishnu Kumaris or Shankar Kumaris.
41Bābā bahut sahaj samjhātē haĩ .
38Only one Brahma is called Prajapita Brahma.
42Brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ .
39Baba explains in a very easy manner.
43Tum brahmākumār-kumārī banē hō - śhivbābā sē varsā lēnē liē .
40You have become Brahma Kumars and Kumaris in order to claim your inheritance from Shiv Baba.
44Śhivbābā kahtē haĩ aisē-aisē kōī kō samjhāō . 45Yād jarūr śhivbābā kō karnā hai , jissē varsā miltā hai .
41Shiv Baba tells you what to explain to others: You definitely have to remember Shiv Baba, from whom you receive the inheritance.
46Aur kōī kō yād karē̃gē tō nark kā varsā milēgā - yah tō samajh key|kī bāt hai .
42If you remember anyone else, you will receive an inheritance of hell. 43This is something that has to be understood.
47Varsā bāp sē nahī̃ , dādē sē miltā hai . 48Svarg kā rachayitā gyān dātā vah hai .
44You do not receive the inheritance from the father but you receive it from the Grandfather.
49Śhivbābā sunātē haĩ brahmā dvārā , phir yah brahmā bhī sun lētē haĩ .
45He is the Creator of heaven and the Bestower of knowledge. 46Shiv Baba speaks through Brahma and this Brahma also listens.
50Brahmā key|kī bhī pahlī-pahlī bachchī sarasvatī gāī huī hai .
47Saraswati, the first daughter of Brahma, has also been remembered.
51Brahmākumārī sarasvatī jagat ambā kitnī gāī huī hai !
48Brahma Kumari Saraswati, the world mother, is praised a great deal.
52Vah brahmā sē bhī jāstī varsā lē lētī hai isliē pahlē lakṣhmī phir nārāyaṇ gāyā jātā hai .
49She claims an even greater inheritance than Brahma. 50This is why Lakshmi is remembered first, then Narayan.
53Tum jāntē hō ham jagat ambā aur jagatpitā K|kē bachchē ṭhaharē , tō kyō̃ nahī̃ dādā sē varsā lē lē̃vē ?
51You understand that you are the children of Jagadamba, the world mother, and Jagadpita, the world father. 52So, why do you not claim your inheritance from the Grandfather?
54Ham brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ dādē , pōtrē , pōtriyā̃ haĩ , bas .
53You are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, grandsons and granddaughters of the Grandfather, that’s all!
55Dūsrī-tīsrī pīṛhī nahī̃ hai , parapōtrē tarapōtrē kuchh nahī̃ .
54There is no second or third generation. 55There are no great grandchildren or great great grandchildren.
56Dādē kō kaun yād nahī̃ karēgā ?
56Who would not remember the Grandfather?
57Tum jāntē hō ham jitnā yād karē̃gē utnā vikarma vināśh hōṅgē .
57You know that the more you remember Him, the more your sins will be absolved.
58Tum kōī kō bhī samjhā saktē hō śhiv parampitā paramātmā svarg kā rachayitā hai .
58You can explain to anyone that Shiva, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Creator of heaven.
59Barōbar rachtē haĩ brahmā dvārā , phir brahmākumār-kumārī kō brahmā dvārā kahtē haĩ ki mujhē aur varsē ( svarg ) kō yād karō .
59He definitely creates that through Brahma. 60He says to you Brahma Kumars and Kumaris through Brahma: Remember Me and the inheritance (heaven).
60Dēh K|kē sab sambandhō̃ kō bhūl jāō .
61Forget all the relations of your bodies.
61Kahā jātā hai nā - āp muyē mar gaī duniyā .
62It has been said: If you die, the world is dead for you.
62Ātmā śharīr sē alag hō jātī hai tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ rahtā . 63Dēh kā abhimān nikal jātā hai .
63When a soul separates from his body, nothing remains; the consciousness of the body ends.
64Ham bābā kē pās āyē haĩ , phir ham gōrā banē̃gē .
64You have now come to Baba and you will then become beautiful.
65Abhī śhyām haĩ .
65You are now ugly.
66Śhyām aur sundar bannē kā yah nāṭak hai .
66This is a play about changing from ugly to beautiful.
67Ātmā pure hasīn bantī hai .
67You souls are becoming pure and beautiful.
68Abhī tumhārī ātmā iron aged ban gaī hai , tō śharīr bhī aisē haĩ .
68You souls have become iron aged and so your bodies too are likewise.
69Satyug mē̃ tum gōrē thē .
69You were beautiful in the golden age.
70Ēk hasīn musāphir ātē haĩ gōrā banānē .
70The beautiful Traveller comes and makes you beautiful.
71Unkī ātmā tō sadaiv gōrī hai .
71That soul is forever beautiful.
72Kabhī khād nahī̃ paṛtī hai kyōṅki vah janm-maraṇ mē̃ nahī̃ ātē haĩ .
72He never has alloy mixed into Him because He doesn’t come into birth and death.
73Kitnā sahaj kar samjhātē haĩ ! 74Phir bhī aisē dādē kō bhūl kar fārkatī dē dētē haĩ isliē bābā kahtē haĩ mahān sē mahān mūrkh aur phir sayānē sē sayānē dēkhnē hō tō yahā̃ dēkhō .
73He explains in such an easy manner but some still forget and divorce such a Grandfather. 74Therefore, Baba says: If you want to see the greatest fools of all as well as the wisest ones of all, see them here.
75Mūrkh bhī aisē haĩ jō ati sahaj dō bātē̃ bhī samajh nahī̃ saktē .
75They are so foolish that they cannot even understand these two very easy aspects.
76Sirph samajhnā hai - ham ātmā haĩ , vah nirākār paramātmā hamārā dādā hai .
76You simply have to understand that you are souls and that that is the incorporeal Supreme Soul, your Grandfather.
77Yah prajāpitā brahmā tō nāmīgrāmī hai .
77This Prajapita Brahma is very well known.
78Un dvārā śhivbābā varsā dētē haĩ .
78Shiv Baba gives you the inheritance through him.
79Brahmā kō chhōṛā , dādē kō bhī chhōṛā tō varsā khatm hō jāyēgā .
79If you leave Brahma, you also leave the Grandfather and your inheritance will then end.
80Bābā kitnā sahaj karkē samjhātē haĩ !
80Baba explains in such an easy way.
81Ham haĩ brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ .
81You are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.
82Brahmā-viṣhṇu-śhaṅkar haĩ sūkṣhmavatanvāsī . 83Usmē̃ bhī brahmā kō prajāpitā kahtē haĩ .
82Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar are residents of the subtle region, but, out of them, it is Brahma who is called Prajapita.
84Sūkṣhmavatan mē̃ tō manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi nahī̃ rachī jātī .
83The human world cannot be created in the subtle region.
85Śhaṅkar vā viṣhṇu kō prajāpitā nahī̃ kah saktē .
84Therefore, Vishnu and Shankar cannot be called Prajapita.
86Prajā kā pitā tō jarūr yahā̃ hōgā .
85The Father of People would surely exist here.
87Brahmā K|kē mukh kamal sē brāhmaṇ nikalē .
86Brahmins emerge from the lotus mouth of Brahma.
88Brāhmaṇō̃ sē pūchhō - tum kiskī vaṅśhāvalī hō ?
87Ask those brahmin priests whose children they are.
89Yah sirph gāyan hō gayā hai , bākī aisē hai nahī̃ .
88That has simply become their praise, for they are not that in reality.
90Abhī tum jāntē hō parampitā paramātmā brahmā dvārā dēvtā , kṣhatriya dharm sthāpan kartē haĩ sō tō karē̃gē saṅgamyug par .
89You now understand that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, establishes the deity and warrior religions through Brahma and that He does that at the confluence age.
91Saṅgamyug par brāhmaṇ jarūr chāhiē .
90Brahmins are definitely needed at the confluence age.
92Kaliyug ant mē̃ haĩ śhūdra .
91At the end of the iron age, they are shudras.
93Tum bachchō̃ kō kitnā achchhī rīti samjhāyā jātā hai !
92This is explained to you children so well. 93Shrimat is very well known.
94Śhrīmat tō maśhhūr hai . 95Śhrīmat bhagavat gītā .
94What did you hear in the Shrimad Bhagawad Gita?
96Unsē kyā sunnā hōtā hai ? 97Śhrī śhrī nē gyān sunāyā hōgā , śhrēṣhṭh tē śhrēṣhṭh banāyā hōgā .
95The doubly-elevated One (Shri Shri) speaks this knowledge and must have made you the most elevated of all.
98Abhī tum practical mē̃ be|B . K|kē . banē hō .
96You have now become Brahma Kumars and Kumaris in a practical way.
99Tum kahtē hō - bāpdādā , ham kalp pahlē bhī āpsē milē thē .
97You say: BapDada, we also met You a cycle ago.
100Ham dādē sē apnā varsā lēnē liē āyē haĩ .
98We have come to claim our inheritance from the Grandfather. 99Achcha.
101Achchhā , ussē kyā banē thē - sūryavanśhī vā chandravanśhī ?
100What did you become through that? 101The sun dynasty or the moon dynasty?
102Śhrī nārāyaṇ kō varā thā yā śhrī rām kō ?
102Did you marry Shri Narayan or Shri Rama?
103Kahtē haĩ - bābā , ham tō śhrī nārāyaṇ kō varē̃gē .
103You say: Baba, we will marry Shri Narayan. 104However, they then forget.
104Parantu phir bhūl jātē haĩ , jō itnā lāyak banātē haĩ unkō bhūl jātē haĩ .
105They forget the One who makes them so worthy. 106May no one ever forget the Grandfather or the father!
105Dādē kō va bāp kō śhal kōī bhī na bhūlē .
107They divorce Him very quickly and don’t even remember Him.
106Jhaṭ fārkatī dē dētē haĩ , yād nahī̃ kartē haĩ .
108They cannot even imbibe two words of this knowledge.
107Gyān K|kē dō akṣhar dhāraṇ nahī̃ kartē . 108Ham satgurū pōtrē athavā dādē pōtrē haĩ . 109Unsē varsā lētē haĩ puruṣhārth sē .
109They forget that they are grandchildren of the Satguru, that is, grandchildren of the Grandfather and that they are claiming their inheritance from Him by making effort.
110Laukik bāp kā varsā athavā property tō bāṇṭī jātī hai .
110The inheritance of a physical father, which is his property, is normally shared out.
111Yahā̃ bāṇṭnē key|kī chīz nahī̃ , ismē̃ tō puruṣhārth karnā paṛtā hai .
111Here, there is no question of anything being shared out. 112You have to make effort for this.
112Kōī moon ādi mē̃ plat nahī̃ kharīd karnā hai .
113You do not have to buy a plot on the moon etc.
113Yahā̃ tō rājāī K|kē mālik bantē hō . 114Part tō yahā̃ hī bajānā hai .
114You become the masters of the kingdom here because you have to play your parts here.
115Moon ādi mē̃ nahī̃ jānā hai , iskō science ghamaṇḍ kahā jātā hai .
115You don’t need to go to the moon etc. 116That is called the arrogance of science.
116Ati ghamaṇḍ mē̃ jānē sē vināśh kō prāpt kartē haĩ .
117Through extreme arrogance, they reach the stage of destruction.
117Kyā-kyā nikal paṛā hai !
118Just look what has been invented!
118Hajārō̃-lākhō̃ mile tak jātē haĩ .
119They go hundreds of thousands of miles into space.
119Unhō̃ kō mālūm paṛtā hai - abhī yah kahā̃ tak pahuñchā hai ?
120They even know how far they have travelled and what is on the moon.
120Ūpar chandramā mē̃ kyā hai ?
121The moon is cool.
121Chandramā tō śhītal hai nā . 122Sūrya kē āgē jānē sē tap jāyēṅgē .
122They would get hot if they were to go towards the sun.
123Kitnā science ghamaṇḍ hai .
123There is so much arrogance of science.
124Nām bhī rakhā hai rocket .
124They call them rockets.
125Bābā nē samjhāyā hai - ātmā sabsē baṛā rocket hai .
125Baba has explained that souls are the greatest rockets of all.
126Hai tō ēk hī bindī .
126They are only points.
127Uskā kyā vazan hōgā ?
127How much would they weigh?
128Bindī mē̃ kitnī sārī knowledge hai !
128There is so much knowledge contained within this point.
129Ēk second mē̃ kahā̃ sē kahā̃ uṛ jātī hai .
129Souls can fly from here to there in a second.
130Bābā kō yād kiyā aur second mē̃ uṛē .
130They remember Baba and fly within a second.
131Yah bhī shrewd ( tīkṣhṇa ) buddhi hī samajhkar samjhā saktē haĩ .
131Only those with very shrewd intellects are able to understand this and explain to others.
132Śhiv-bābā bhī bindī hai .
132Shiv Baba is also a point.
133Liṅg svarūp kahnē sē kahē̃gē itnī baṛī ātmā tō hōtī nahī̃ , na paramātmā hī aisā hōtā .
133They say that He has a large oval-shaped form. 134However, it would be said that a soul isn’t that large and that the Supreme Soul cannot be that large.
134Vah phir kahtē haĩ - paramātmā tō brahm hai .
135They then say that God is brahm, the element of light.
135Kuchh bhī samajh na sakē̃ .
136They are unable to understand anything.
136Jab tak kōī sammukh na āyē tab tak paramātmā K|kē nām-rūp ādi kō samajh na sakē .
137Until they come personally in front of God, they will not be able to understand the name or form of God.
137Ham bhal śhivbābā kā chitra dikhātē haĩ parantu aisā hai nahī̃ .
138We show Shiv Baba’s picture, but He is not like that.
138Vah tō bindī rūp hai , lēkin bindī key|kī pūjā kaisē karē̃gē , fool|phūl ādi kaisē chaṛhāyēṅgē ?
139His form is that of a point, but how can a point be worshipped? 140How could He be offered flowers etc.?
139Tō yah bhakti mārg chalā āyā hai , pūjā kē liē mandir mē̃ baṛā rūp banā diyā hai .
141That has continued on the path of devotion. 142They have created a large form for the sake of this worship in the temples.
140Achchhā , bābā kahtē haĩ kiskī buddhi mē̃ yah gyān na baiṭhē phir bhī yah tō samajh saktē hō nā ki ham brahmākumār-kumārī haĩ , dādē pōtrē haĩ .
143Achcha. 144Baba says: If this knowledge doesn’t sit in your intellects, you can at least understand that you are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, grandchildren of the Grandfather.
141Ūñch tē ūñch śhiv bhagvān hai .
145God Shiva is the Highest on High.
142Unkī rachnā kō tō god father nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
146His creation cannot be called God, the Father.
143Ham haĩ unkē pōtrē .
147We are His grandchildren.
144Vah kahtē haĩ maĩ tumkō svarg kā mālik banātā hū̃ .
148He says: I make you into the masters of heaven.
145Tum bhī jāntē hō ham abhī tamōpradhān sānvarē haĩ .
149You also understand that you are now tamopradhan and ugly.
146Bābā sē satōpradhān gōrē ban rahē haĩ .
150You are being made satopradhan and beautiful by Baba.
147Phir kām chitā par chaṛhnē sē sabhī kālē ban jātē haĩ . 148Śhyām aur sundar bantē haĩ .
151It was by sitting on the pyre of lust that he became ugly; he became ugly from beautiful.
149Ab phir satōpradhān bannē liē bāp kō yād karnā hai .
152Now, in order to become satopradhan again, you have to remember the Father.
150Ēk musāphir kitnē kō hasīn banātē haĩ , viśhva kā mālik banātē haĩ !
153One Traveller makes so many beautiful. 154He makes you into the masters of the world.
151Sirph kahtē haĩ - mujh bāp kō yād karō . 152Nahī̃ tō varsā kaisē milēgā ?
155He simply says: Remember Me, the Father, otherwise, how would you receive the inheritance?
153Vikarma vināśh kē liē yōg agni chāhiē .
156You need the fire of yoga in order to destroy your sins.
154Ghaṛī-ghaṛī yād karnā hai .
157Have remembrance again and again.
155Kaī samajhtē haĩ - ham bachchē tō haĩ nā .
