Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
9Om shanti.
9Śhivbābā apnē mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchō̃ , sikīladhē sāligrāmō̃ kō baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
10Shiv Baba sits here and explains to His sweetest children, to you the long-lost and now-found saligrams.
10Sāligrām hī śhivbābā K|kē bachchē ṭhaharē nā .
11Saligrams are the children of Shiv Baba.
11Bachchē jāntē haĩ ki hamkō vah paṛhātē haĩ , jinkō riñchak bhī kōī jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .
12You children know that the One whom no one knows the slightest is teaching you.
12Śhiv K|kē mandir mē̃ jātē haĩ parantu vahā̃ tō itnā baṛā śhivliṅg dēkhtē haĩ .
13People go to a Shiva temple and they see such a huge lingam image there.
13Yah thōṛēhī samajhtē haĩ ki hamārā bābā bindī hai .
14They don't understand that their Baba is a point.
14Jō bachchē śhivbābā kō itnā baṛā samajh yād kartē haĩ vā kartē hōṅgē - vah bhī bhōlē haĩ kyōṅki vah bhī wrong hai .
15The children who remember or must have been remembering Shiv Baba and considering Him to be that big are innocent because they are wrong.
15Bāp samjhātē haĩ ki maĩ bindī hū̃ , ab bindī kō kōī kyā samajh sakē .
16The Father explains: I am a point. 17How can anyone understand a point?
16Bhal kōī kahtē haĩ akhaṇḍ jyōti svarūp hai , phalānā hai parantu nahī̃ , vah hai bindī .
18Although some say that He is constantly a form of light, that He is so-and-so, that is not so. 19He is a point.
17Unkō yād karnā baṛā muśhkil hai .
20It is very difficult to remember Him.
18Ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jātē haĩ .
21They repeatedly forget Him.
19Bhakti mārg mē̃ ādat paṛī huī hai śhivliṅg par fool|phūl chaṛhānē vā pūjā karnē key|kī tō vah yād rahtā hai .
22On the path of devotion, people have the habit of offering flowers to a Shiva lingam and worshipping it, and so they remember that.
20Parantu yah ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jātē haĩ ki hamārā bābā bindī rūp hai .
23However, they repeatedly forget that their Baba is a point.
21Sārē drama mē̃ unkā jō part hai vah bajātē haĩ .
24He plays the part He has in the whole drama.
22Bindī key|kī baiṭh mahimā karē̃gē kyā ki sukh kā sāgar hai , śhānti kā sāgar hai … .
25Would they sit and praise a point, saying that He is the Ocean of Happiness and the Ocean of Peace?
23Kitnā chhōṭā bindī rūp hai .
26He is such a tiny point.
24Bachchē pūchhtē haĩ kiskō dhyān mē̃ rakhē̃ ?
27Children ask: Whom should we keep in our minds?
25In bātō̃ kō tō samajhdār hī samajh sakē̃ .
28Only sensible children would be able to understand this.
26Nahī̃ tō vahī śhiv kā liṅg yād ā jātā hai .
29Otherwise, they would just remember that lingam image of Shiva.
27Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa tō achchhī rīti buddhi mē̃ baiṭh saktā hai .
30Shri Krishna can sit in their intellects very well, but this One is a point.
28Yah tō hai bindī . 29Gīt mē̃ bhī kahtē haĩ ki yād karō tō yād na āyē phir vah sūrat kaisī hai ?
31In the song, it is said that even when you try to remember Him, you can't remember Him, and so what is His face like?
30Yah bhī wonderful hai , itnī chhōṭī bindī hai !
32This is so wonderful. 33He is such a tiny point.
31Gyān kā dance kartē haĩ .
34He performs the dance of knowledge.

35It is said: This is a world of dreams.
33Bītī huī bāt kō svapn kahā jātā hai . 34Svapnavat saṅsār , jō bīt gayā hai vah tumhārī buddhi mē̃ ātā hai .

37Brahmand, the incorporeal world, the subtle region, the golden age, the silver age, the copper age etc., the whole of it has become a dream.
36Jō past hō jātā hai vah svapn hō gayā .
38Anything that has past becomes a dream.
37Ab kaliyug kā bhī ant hai .
39It is now also the end of the iron age.
38Yah svapnavat saṅsār huā nā .
40This is a dream-like world.
39Vah had K|kē svapn ātē haĩ .
41Those dreams you have are limited.
40Tumkō bēhad kā buddhi mē̃ ātā hai .
42The unlimited enters your intellects.
41Sūryavanśhī-chandravanśhī bhī sab svapn hō gayā .
43The sun and moon dynasties have also become dreams.
42Iskō kahā jātā hai svapnō̃ kā saṅsār .
44This is called a world of dreams.
43Itnā rāz aur kōī nahī̃ jāntē sivāē tum bachchō̃ K|kē .
45No one, apart from you children, knows these secrets.
44Satyug mē̃ kitnē athāh sukh thē - vah sab past hō gayē .
46There was so much happiness in the golden age. 47All of that has become the past.
45Abhī tum bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ ādi , madhya , ant kā pūrā gyān hai .
48You children now have the full knowledge of the beginning, the middle and the end in your intellects.
46Ēk bāp key|kī hī yād rahnī chāhiē .
49There should be the remembrance of only the one Father.
47Bāp jō samjhātē haĩ aur kōī samjhā na sakē .
50No one else can explain what the Father explains.
48Tumhārī buddhi mē̃ svapnō̃ kā saṅsār hai .
51You have the world of dreams in your intellects.
49Yah yah past hō gayā - buddhi jāntī hai nā .
52Your intellects know all the things that have become the past.
50Tumkō ūpar sē lēkar sārī knowledge buddhi mē̃ haĩ - ādi sē ant tak key|kī .
53You have all this knowledge from the top to the bottom in your intellects, from the beginning to the end.
51Tum ab trikāladarśī-trilōkīnāth ban gayē hō .
54You have now become trikaldarshi and trilokinath.
52Trilōkīnāth bannē sē tum jaisē bhagvān hō jātē hō .
55By becoming trilokinath, it is as though you have become gods.
53Bhagvān baiṭh tumkō śhikṣhā dētē haĩ .
56God sits here and gives you teachings.
54Second mē̃ svapn ātā hai nā .
57You have a dream in a second.
55Tō second mē̃ tumkō sārā yād ānā chāhiē - bīj aur jhāṛ .
58Therefore, you should remember the Seed and the tree in a second.
56Bābā bhī kahtē haĩ - ādi , madhya , ant kā mērē pās|pass gyān hai isliē hī mujhē gyān kā sāgar , knowledgeful , jānī-jānanahār kahtē haĩ .
59Baba also says: I have the knowledge of the beginning, the middle and the end. 60This is why I am called the Ocean of Knowledge, knowledge-full, Janijananhar (One who knows all the secrets within you).
57Jāntē haĩ harēk key|kī avasthā aisī hī rahēgī .
61He knows what everyone's stage is like.
58Ēk-ēk key|kī avasthā kō ham kyā baiṭh jānē̃gē !
62Why would I sit and look at each one's stage?
59Jō avasthā kalp pahlē thī , us avasthā mē̃ haĩ . 60Sō tō tum bhī jāntē hō .
63Whatever stage each of you had in the previous cycle, you are in that stage now.
61Puruṣhārth karānē kē liē kahtē haĩ - achchhī rīti puruṣhārth karō .
64You also know that. 65In order to inspire you to make effort, He says: Make effort very well.
62Abhī tumkō svadarśhan chakradhārī bannā hai .
66You now have to become spinners of the discus of self-realisation.
63Tum jāntē hō yah-yah past hō gayā hai - aisē dēvtāyē̃ rājya kartē thē phir ākar rājya karē̃gē .
67You know about the things that have become the past. 68Deities used to rule in that way and they will come and rule again.
64Past , present , future yah yād kartē rahē̃gē .
69You will continue to remember the past, present and future.
65Unkō hī svadarśhan chakra kahā jātā hai .
70This is called the discus of self-realisation.
66Śhivliṅg kō yād karnē mē̃ tō hirē huē haĩ .
71People are used to remembering a Shivalingam image.
67Tō samajhtē haĩ ki bābā jyōrtiliṅgam hai . 68Bindī kahē̃ tō mūnjh paṛē .
72Therefore, they believe that Baba is a Jyotilingam (oval-shaped image of light).
69Vah samajhtē haĩ ātmā chhōṭī hai , paramātmā baṛā hai .
73If you were to call Him a point, people would become confused.
70Abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō - is kaliyugī duniyā mē̃ is samay dēkhō bhabhkā kitnā hai ! 71Iskō māyā kā bhabhkā kahā jātā hai . 72Māyā kā pomp hai .
74They believe that souls are tiny and that the Supreme Soul is big. 75You children now know that there is so much pomp and show in this iron-aged world at this time.
73Kahtē haĩ nā - abhī duniyā kitnī achchhī ban gaī hai .
76This is called the pomp and show of Maya; the pomp of Maya.
74Baṛē-baṛē mahal ban gayē haĩ .
77They say that the world has now become very good.
75America kā kitnā bhabhkā hai !
78There are now huge palaces.
76Chījē̃ kitnī ṉaphīs ( ākarṣak ) bantī haĩ .
79There is so much pomp and show in America.
77Ham samajhtē haĩ ki yah tō mulammē key|kī chījē̃ haĩ jō abhī khatm hō jāyēṅgī .
80So many beautiful things are made. 81We understand that these things are just gilded and will soon be destroyed.
78Din-pratidin baṛī-baṛī imāratē̃ , dam ādi aisē banāyēṅgē , jaisē bilkul naī duniyā hai .
82Day by day, they build such tall buildings and dams etc. as though it is a completely new world.
79Māyāvī puruṣh haĩ nā .
83People are under the influence of Maya.
80Āsurī sampradāy kā bhabhkā hai .
84This is the pomp and show of the devilish community.
81Yah sab hai tilasma ( jādū ) , abhī gayā ki gayā .
85All of it is magic; it will soon vanish.
82Baṛē-baṛē science ghamanḍī jō haĩ unhō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ hai ki yah sab khatm hō jāyēṅgē .
86It is in the intellects of the great scientists, who have the arrogance of science, that all of it will be destroyed.
83Ēk-dō kō kah dētē haĩ tum interfere na karō , nahī̃ tō sab ḵẖatm hō jāyēṅgē .
87They tell one another: Do not interfere! 88Otherwise, everything will be destroyed.
84America apnē kō balvān samajhtā hai tō jarūr second number mē̃ bhī kōī hōgā jō sāmnā karē .
89America considers itself to be powerful and so there must surely be someone second in line who would then confront it.
85Gāyā huā hai - dō billē laṛtē haĩ .
90It is remembered that the two cats fought.
86Yādavō̃ nē apnē kul kā vināśh kiyā , tō vah dō billē huē nā .
91The Yadavas destroyed their own clan. 92So they are the two cats.
87Vahī practical hō rahā hai .
93That is happening in a practical way now.
88Tum bachchē jāntē hō - āgē bhī is samay tumnē hī knowledge lī thī .
94You children know that you took this knowledge at this time in the previous cycle too.
89Ab bhī lē rahē hō .
95You are now taking it again.
90Bāp ākar sārī knowledge samjhātē haĩ .
96The Father comes and explains all of this knowledge.
91Jaisē bāp key|kī buddhi mē̃ hai vaisē tum bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ bhī hai .
97It is in the intellects of you children in the same way as it is in the Father's intellect.
92Śhiv kahā jātā hai bindī kō .
98The Point is called Shiva.
93Ātmā mē̃ bhī sārā part hai .
99The whole part is recorded in the soul.
94Tumhārā hai all-round part , satyug sē lēkar kaliyug tak .
100You have all-round parts, from the golden age to the iron age.
95Satyug-trētā mē̃ tum jab sukh bhōgtē hō tō us samay bāp kā kōī part nahī̃ .
101At the time when you experience happiness in the golden and silver ages, the Father has no part.
96Bāp kahtē haĩ ki mērē sē bhī tumhārā jāstī part hai .
102The Father says: You have bigger parts than I do.
97Tum sukh mē̃ rahtē hō tō maĩ nirvāṇdhām mē̃ hū̃ .
103You stay in happiness whereas I stay in the land of nirvana.
98Mērā kōī part hī nahī̃ .
104I do not have any part at that time.
99Tumnē all-round part bajāyā hai tō thakē bhī tum hōṅgē isliē likhā huā hai - charaṇ dabāyē haĩ .
105You have played all-round parts and so you are the ones who are tired. 106This is why it is written that God massaged your feet.
100Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē , tum thak gayē hōṅgē .
107The Father says: Children, you must be tired.
101Tumnē ādhākalp bhakti key|kī , dar-dar dhakkē khāyē haĩ .
108You have been performing devotion for half a cycle and stumbling around from door to door.
102Bhakti mārg mē̃ bhaṭaktē-bhaṭaktē tum thak jātē hō phir bāp ākar ujūrā dētē haĩ , pujārī sē pūjya banā dētē haĩ .
109By wandering around on the path of devotion, you have become tired and so the Father comes and gives you the return by making you worshippers become worthy of worship.
103Tum jāntē hō ham sō pūjya thē phir pujārī banē haĩ .
110You know that you were worthy of worship and that you have now become worshippers.
104Aisē nahī̃ ki paramātmā āpē hī pūjya , āpē hī pujārī hai .
111It isn’t that God is worthy of worship and then becomes a worshipper.
105Nahī̃ , ham hī bantē haĩ .
112No, we become that.
106Bhārat hī avināśhī khaṇḍ gāyā jātā hai .
113Bharat is remembered as an imperishable land.
107Bhārat hai śhivbābā key|kī janmabhūmi .
114Bharat is the birthplace of Shiv Baba.
108Janmabhūmi par hī manuṣhya kurbān hōtē haĩ .
115People sacrifice themselves for their birthplace.
109Kāṅgrēsiyō̃ nē bhī dēkhō , kitnā māthā mārā janm bhūmi kē liē . 110Foreigners kō bāhar nikāl diyā .
116Look how much the Congress Party beat their heads to regain their birthplace; they chased away the foreigners.
111Yah janm bhūmi svarg thī .
117This birthplace was heaven.
112Phir 5 vikārō̃ rūpī māyā nē ākar hap kiyā hai .
118Then, Maya, the five vices, came and swallowed it.
113Ham rāvaṇ kō baṛā duśhman samajhtē haĩ .
119We consider Ravan to be a great enemy.
114Yah kōī bhī nahī̃ samajhtē ki baṛē tē baṛā duśhman māyā rāvaṇ hai , jō hamārī rājāī khā gayā hai .
120No one understands that Maya, Ravan, who has eaten up our kingdom, is the greatest enemy of all.
115Yah jaisē ki gupta chūhē muāphik phū̃k dētā aur kāṭtā rahtā hai , jō kiskō patā bhī nahī̃ paṛ rahā hai .
121She blows in an incognito way like a mouse and then bites so that no one knows.
116Kāṭtē-kāṭtē ēkdam dēvālā mār diyā hai .
122By biting you in that way, she has made you completely bankrupt.
117Kiskō patā nahī̃ hai , hamārā rājya bhāgya chhīn liyā hai .
123No one knows that she snatched away your fortune of the kingdom.
118Kōī kō patā nahī̃ hai hamārā duśhman kaun hai ? 119Ham kaṅgāl kaisē banē ?
124No one knows who their enemy is or how they became poverty-stricken.
120Māyā baṛā chūhā hai - ādhākalp khātē-khātē bhārat kō kauṛī jaisā banā diyā hai .
125Maya is a big mouse. 126By biting you for half a cycle, she has made Bharat worth a shell.
121Baṛā hī balvān hai .
127She is very powerful.
122Abhī phir tum chupkē sē us par jīt pā rahē hō .
128You are now quietly conquering her.
123Tum jāntē hō ki ham kaisē gupta rīti rājya lē lētē haĩ .
129You know how you are claiming your kingdom back in an incognito way.
124Jaisē gupta rīti ganvāyā hai phir lētē bhī gupta rīti sē haĩ .
130Just as you lost it in an incognito way, so you are also claiming it back in an incognito way.
125Kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē - abhī phir is par jīt pānī hai .
131No one knows this, but you now have to conquer her.
126Kitnē mahīn rāz haĩ !
132This is such a deep secret.
127Bābā key|kī madad sē ham phir sē rājya-bhāgya lētē haĩ .
133We are once again claiming our fortune of the kingdom with Baba's help.
128Kōī hāth-pā̃v nahī̃ chalātē haĩ .
134We do not use our hands or feet.
129Gupta rīti sē ham apnā bēhad K|kē bāp sē varsā lētē haĩ , jō ādhākalp rahēgā . 130Vah chūhā māyā tō āhistē-āhistē khātā hai aur tum abhī rājya ēk hī bār lē lētē hō 21 janm kē liē .
135We are claiming our inheritance from the unlimited Father in an incognito way and that will then continue for half a cycle. 136Maya, the mouse, bites very slowly but you now claim a kingdom for 21 births in one go.
13184 janmō̃ kā rāz bhī tumkō samjhāyā gayā hai .
137The secret of 84 births has also been explained to you.
132Itnē-itnē janma liē haĩ .
138You take this many births.
133Tum jāntē hō satyug mē̃ hamārī āyu bahut baṛī thī .
139You know that your lifespan is very long in the golden age.
134Phir apavitr bhōgī bantē haĩ tō dvāpar-kaliyug mē̃ 63 janma lētē haĩ .
140Then, when you become impure and indulge in sensual pleasures, you take 63 births in the copper and iron ages.
135Yah bābā baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
141Baba sits here and explains this.
136Kalp-kalp māyā aisē rājya lētī hai phir ham unsē lētē haĩ .
142Maya takes away our kingdom in this way every cycle and we then claim it back from her.
137Gīt mē̃ gātē tō haĩ - kaun dēśh sē āyā , kaun dēśh mē̃ hai jānā . . . . ?
143It is sung in the song: From which land have you come and to which land do you have to go back?
138Parantu samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
144However, people don't understand this.
139Tum tō jāntē hō ātmā kis dēśh sē āī hai ? 140Kyō̃ āī hai ?
145You know from which land you souls have come and why you have come.
141Sārā chakra buddhi mē̃ hai .
146You have the whole cycle in your intellects.
142Sārē drama mē̃ hero-heroine part hai śhivbābā kā .
147In the whole drama, Shiv Baba has the hero-heroine part.
143Śhivbābā kē sāth pārṭdhārī kaun-kaun haĩ ?
148Who are the actors with Shiv Baba?
144Pahlē-pahlē janm dētē haĩ - brahmā , viṣhṇu , śhaṅkar kō phir tum bachchō̃ kō .
149He first gives birth to Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar and then to you children.
145Tum bāp kē sāth madadgār ṭhaharē .
150You are the Father’s helpers.
146Bāp apnā part bajākar apnē dhām chalē jātē haĩ aur tum madadgārō̃ kō bhī sāth mē̃ muktidhām mē̃ lē jātē haĩ .
151The Father plays His part and goes back to His land and He also takes you, His helpers, to the land of liberation with Him.
147Tum muktidhām jākar phir jīvanmukti mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .
152You will go to the land of liberation and you will then go to the land of liberation-in-life.
148Kitnā achchhī rīti buddhi mē̃ rakhnā chāhiē !
153You should keep this in your intellects very clearly.
149Tō yah hai sapanō̃ kā saṅsār jō bīt gayā .
154So, this is a world of dreams which became the past.
150Tum jāntē hō ki satyug-trētā mē̃ dēvī-dēvtāyē̃ rahtē thē , abhī nahī̃ haĩ .
155You know that the deities used to reside in the golden and silver ages. 156They no longer exist.
151Gīt kā kitnā guhya rāz hai - kaisē sapanō̃ kā saṅsār buddhi mē̃ lēkar baiṭhē haĩ ? 152Sārā chakra kaisē phirtā hai ?
157The song has such a deep meaning: how you are sitting with the world of dreams in your intellects and how the whole cycle turns.
153Jō knowledge bābā mē̃ hai vah hamārē mē̃ bhī hai .
158We also have the knowledge that Baba has.
154Bēhad K|kē bāp mē̃ hī yah sārī bēhad key|kī knowledge haĩ .
159Only the unlimited Father has all of this unlimited knowledge.

160You children know that this will also become a dream.
156Yah baṛī samajhnē aur samjhānē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .
161This is something to be understood and explained.

159Buddhi mē̃ sārā chakra rahnā chāhiē .
164The whole cycle should remain in your intellects.
160Bhakti mārg kyā hai , kab sē śhurū hōtā hai , issē kuchh bhī fāydā nahī̃ huā .
165What is the path of devotion and when does it begin? 166There has been no benefit through that.
161Bhakti kartē-kartē nuksān mē̃ hī ā gayē haĩ .
167By performing devotion, people have only incurred a loss.
162Ab phir sē tum kauṛī sē hīrē jaisā bantē hō .

172These are very wonderful things and worth knowing.
167Yahā̃ key|kī rasm-rivāj vahā̃ bilkul nahī̃ hōtī hai .
173The customs and systems of this place don't exist there at all.
168Vah hai hī viceless world . 169Vahā̃ māyā kā nām-niśhān nahī̃ hōtā .
174That is a viceless world; there is no name or trace of Maya there.
170Pahlē tum bābā kō yād karō , varsā tō lē lō , bākī vahā̃ key|kī rasm-rivāj jō hōgī , vahī chalēgī .
175First of all, remember Baba and claim your inheritance. 176However, whatever the customs and systems of that place are, they will continue there.
171Vahā̃ key|kī rasm-rivāj sab naī hōgī .
177The customs and systems there will all be new.
172Vahā̃ yah utsav ādi hōṅgē nahī̃ .
178There won't be these festivals there.
173Yahā̃ gamī ( udāsī ) rahtī hai , tab śhādmānā ( utsāh dilānē vālē utsav ) manātē haĩ .
179Here, there is unhappiness and this is why they celebrate festivals.
174Vahā̃ tō nitya hai hī śhādmānā .
180There, every day is a celebration.
175Rōnē key|kī darkār nahī̃ rahtī .
181There is no need to cry there.

178Vahā̃ śhādī bhī dhūmdhām sē hōtī hai , dahēj miltā hai , dās-dāsiyā̃ miltī haĩ .
184Marriages there also take place with a lot of splendour. 185The bride receives a dowry; she also receives maids and servants.
179Bākī tyōhār ādi key|kī darkār nahī̃ rahtī .
186However, there is no need for any festivals etc.
180Yah haĩ hī saṅgam K|kē tyōhār , jō bhakti mārg mē̃ manāyē jātē haĩ .
187These are the festivals of the confluence age which are celebrated on the path of devotion.

188There, there is constant happiness.
182Achchhā !

183Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .
190To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

192Pravr̥itti kō sēvā samajhkar sambhālō , bandhan samajhkar nahī̃ . 193Bāp nē direction diyā hai - yōg sē hisāb-kitāb chuktū karō .
199 Look after your family while considering that to be doing service, not considering it to be some bondage.
194Yah tō mālūm hai ki vah bandhan hai lēkin ghaṛī-ghaṛī kahnē vā sōchnē sē aur bhī kaṛā bandhan hō jātā hai aur ant ghaṛī mē̃ agar bandhan hī yād rahā tō garbhajail mē̃ jānā paṛēgā isliē kabhī bhī apnē sē taṅg nahī̃ hō .
200The Father has given you directions to settle your karmic accounts with yoga. 201You know that that is a bondage, but by repeatedly saying it or thinking about it, it becomes even stronger. 202Then, in the final moments, if you only remember that bondage, you will have to go into the jail of a womb.
195Phansō bhī nahī̃ aur majbūr bhī na hō , khēl-khēl mē̃ her|har kārya kartē chalō tō athak bhī rahē̃gē aur bandhan-mukt bhī bantē jāyēṅgē .
203Therefore, never distress by yourself or become trapped or compelled by anything. 204Continue to perform every act as a game and you will remain tireless and become free from bondage.
