Question
2Praśhna : śhivbābā kaun-sī service kartē haĩ aur tum bachchō̃ kō kyā karnā hai ?
3Question: What service does Shiv Baba do and what is that you children have to do?
Answer
3Uttar : saṅgam par śhivbābā sabhī ātmāō̃ kō kabra sē nikāltē haĩ arthāt ātmāyē̃ jō dēh abhimān mē̃ ākar patit ban gaī haĩ unhē̃ patit sē pāvan banānē key|kī service kartē haĩ . 4Tum bachchē bhī bāp K|kē sāth-sāth sabkō śhāntidhām aur sukhdhām kā rāstā batānē kē liē light house banō .
4Answer: At the confluence age, Shiv Baba removes all souls from the graveyard, that is, He does the service of purifying souls who, by becoming body conscious, have become impure. 5You children have to become lighthouses and, together with the Father, show everyone the way to the land of peace and land of happiness.
5Tumhārī ēk āṅkh mē̃ mukti aur dūsrī āṅkh mē̃ jīvanmukti hō .
6Let there be liberation in one eye and liberation-in-life in the other.
Song
6Gīt : kisnē yah sab khēl rachāyā …
7Song: Who created this play and then hid Himself away?
Murli
7Ōm śhānti .
8Om shanti.
8Yah vāstav mē̃ bhakti mārg kā gīt hai .
9In fact, this song belongs to the path of devotion.
9Kōī hai jarūr , jiskī yah mahimā hai .
10There is definitely someone this praise belongs to.
10Bachchē achchhī rīti samajh saktē haĩ ki yah bāp hī hai jō sab kuchh kartē haĩ , karankarāvanhār hai .
11You children understand very clearly that it is the Father who does everything. 12He is Karankaravanhar.
11Sikkh lōg bahut mahimā gātē haĩ kyōṅki nayā dharm hai aur yah hai bahut purānā dharm .
13Sikh people sing His praise a great deal because their religion is new, whereas that religion is very old.
12Gātē haĩ ēkōaṅkār … ōm kā arth|earth bhī bābā nē bahut achchhī rīti samjhāyā hai . 13Vah tō bahut lambā-chauṛā arth|earth kar dētē haĩ .
14They remember ‘Ek Om Kar’ (God is one, an oval image). 15Baba has also explained the meaning of ‘Om’ very clearly, whereas they give a very long and complicated explanation.
14Maĩ kahtā hū̃ maĩ paramātmā paramdhām kā rahnē vālā hū̃ .
16I tell you that I, the Supreme Soul, am the Resident of the supreme abode.
15Maĩ punarjanma mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hū̃ , tum punarjanma mē̃ ātē hō .
17I do not take rebirth; you take rebirth. 18The Father sits here and introduces Himself to you children.
16Bāp bachchō̃ kō baiṭh parichay dētē haĩ .
19I reveal Myself to only you children.
17Maĩ bachchō̃ K|kē sāmnē hī pratyakṣha hū̃ . 18Inhō̃ kō samjhāyā hai maĩ hū̃ parampitā paramātmā , jiskō tum ātmāyē̃ bhakti mārg mē̃ yād kartī hō - ō god father .
20It has been explained to you that I am the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the One you souls have been remembering on the path of devotion as God, the Father.
19Unkī mahimā bhī hai patit-pāvan , merciful , liberator .
21He is praised as the Purifier, the Merciful One and the Liberator.
20Unkō guide bhī kahtē haĩ .
22He is also called the Guide.
21Yah hai pāṇḍav sēnā .
23This is the Pandava Army.
22Paṇḍā mukti-jīvanmukti key|kī rāh batātā hai .
24The Guide shows the path to liberation and liberation-in-life.
23Gātē bhī haĩ nā naīyā mērī pār lagāō .
25People sing: Take our boat across.
24Barōbar paramātmā kō khivaiyā bhī kahtē haĩ , bāgvān bhī kahtē haĩ .
26God is definitely called the Boatman as well as the Master of the Garden.
25Kahtē haĩ tum kitnē mast thē .
27He says: You used to be very intoxicated.
26Satyug-trētā mē̃ bēparvāh bādśhāh thē .
28You were carefree emperors in the golden and silver ages.
27Kitnē vaibhav thē !
29You had so many riches.
28Śhrīnāth dvārē mē̃ kitnē vaibhav khilātē haĩ , pakkī rasōī banātē haĩ , jagannāth K|kē mandir mē̃ dāl-cāval banātē haĩ .
30At Shrinathdware, they cook rich food for the bhog they offer. 31They cook very rich, nourishing food there, whereas they only cook rice and dal at the Jagadnath Temple.
29Vahā̃ kālē chitra dikhātē haĩ .
32Dirty images of deities are displayed there.
30Abhī tum sab kālē hō .
33All of you are now dirty.
31Śhrīnāth dvārē mē̃ bahut first class chījē̃ bantī haĩ , phir jō śhrīnāth kō bhōg lagātē haĩ , vah pujāriyō̃ kō miltā hai . 32Vah phir dukān mē̃ bēchtē haĩ .
34At the Shrinathdware Temple, they make first-class food, which they offer to Shrinath as bhog. 35It is then taken by priests who sell it at their stalls.
33Ussē śharīr nirvāh hōtā hai .
36They earn their livelihood through that.
34Tum bachchē tō svarg K|kē mālik bantē hō .
37You children are becoming the masters of heaven.
35Vahā̃ jō vaibhav tum khātē hō , vah dās-dāsiyā̃ bhī khātē haĩ .
38Your maids and servants also eat the same rich food that you eat there.
3636 prakār K|kē vaibhav bantē haĩ , itnē tō khā nahī sakē̃gē tō phir dās-dāsiyā̃ khātē haĩ .
39Thirty six varieties of food are prepared, but you couldn’t eat that much, and so the maids and servants eat it as well.
37Parantu ismē̃ hī khuśh nahī̃ hōnā hai .
40However, you mustn’t simply be happy with that.
38Rājdhānī tō sārī bannī hai .
41A whole kingdom is being created.
39Tum vahā̃ bahut mauj mē̃ rahē̃gē .
42You will live there in great pleasure and comfort.
40World almighty authority kā sthāpan kiyā huā svarg kā rājya-bhāgya tum bachchō̃ kō miltā hai .
43You children will receive your fortune of the kingdom of heaven that is being established by the World Almighty Authority.
41Kahtē haĩ gyān , bhakti , vairāgya .
44It is said: Knowledge, devotion and disinterest.
42Ab vairāgya dō prakār kā hōtā hai .
45Now, there are two types of disinterest.
43Sannyāsiyō̃ kā hai had kā vairāgya . 44Gharbār chhōṛ jākar jaṅgal mē̃ baiṭhtē haĩ phir vah gupta madad kartē haĩ .
46The disinterest of sannyasis is limited; they leave their homes and businesses and go and live in the jungles.
45Bhārat kā bahut fāydā kartē haĩ . 46Jaisē vināśh kē liē kahā jātā hai insē svarg K|kē gate|get khultē haĩ .
47They help to bring a lot of benefit to Bharat in an incognito way. 48It is said that the gates of heaven open through destruction.
47Vaisē yah bhī pavitratā key|kī madad kartē haĩ , isliē drama mē̃ unhō̃ key|kī mahimā hai .
49In the same way, sannyasis help through their purity. 50This is why their praise is sung in the drama.
48Bāp kahtē haĩ yah gyān prāyaḥlōp hō jātā hai .
51The Father says: This knowledge will later disappear.
49Tō unkā hai had kā vairāgya , tumhārā hai bēhad kā .
52So, their disinterest is limited, whereas yours is unlimited.
50Tumhē̃ bēhad kā bāp vairāgya dilātē haĩ . 51Gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahtē sirph buddhi sē bhūlnā hai .
53The unlimited Father inspires you to have unlimited disinterest: Stay in your households and simply remove everything from your intellects.
52Yah tō purānā śharīr hai , ab 84 janm pūrē huē .
54These bodies are old; your 84 births are now complete.
53Dēh sahit dēh K|kē sab dharmō̃ , sarv sambandhō̃ kō bhūlnā hai . 54Apnē kō dēhī samajhnā hai .
55Forget your bodies and all your bodily religions and relationships and consider yourselves to be souls.
55Vah tō kah dētē ki ātmā nirlēp hai . 56Kuchh bhī khāō-piyō , lēp-chhēp nahī̃ lagtā . 57Anēk mat-matāntar haĩ .
56They say that souls are immune to the effect of action, that you can eat and drink whatever you want and you will not be affected in any way.
58Kaisī rasm-rivāj hai , jisnē jō mat chalāī chal paṛtī hai .
57There are many different opinions and many different systems and customs.
59Jaisē yahā̃ kōī ādi dēv kō mahāvīr kahtē haĩ .
58Whatever idea someone starts, it just carries on.
60Mahāvīr phir hanumān kō bhī kahtē haĩ . 61Vāstav mē̃ tum sab mahāvīr-mahāvīrniyā̃ hō jō māyā par jīt pātē hō .
59For instance, some refer to Adi Dev as Mahavir, but then they also call Hanuman Mahavir. 60In fact, all of you are mahavirs (great warriors) who gain victory over Maya.
62Śhrīmat par puruṣhārth kartē hō .
61You make effort based on shrimat.
63Tumkō apnī avasthā aisī rakhnī hai , jaisē aṅgad kō rāvaṇ hilā nahī̃ sakā .
62You have to create a stage like that of Angad, whom Ravan wasn’t able to shake.
64Tum mahāvīrō̃ kō bhī bhal kitnā bhī māyā kā tūphān lagē , parantu hilnā nahī̃ hai .
63No matter how many storms of Maya come, you great warriors must not shake. 64You cannot have this stage at this time, but it will be like that at the end.
65Yah avasthā abhī nahī̃ hōgī . 66Pichhāṛī mē̃ aisī avasthā hōnī hai .
65No matter how many storms of vicious thoughts come, you must remain unshakeable.
67Kitnē bhī vikalpō̃ K|kē tūphān āyē̃ lēkin aḍōl rahnā hai .
66You should have unadulterated remembrance; no one else should be remembered.
68Avyabhichārī yād rahē aur kiskī yād nā āyē , ismē̃ mēhnat bahut karnī hai .
67A great deal of effort is required for this. 68Only at the end will you be completely unshakeable and immovable.
69Pichhāṛī mē̃ hī achal-aḍōl banē̃gē . 70Achalghar yādgār hai nā .
69There is a memorial of Achalghar (home of the unshakeable one).
71Uskē ūpar gurūśikhar hai .
70Above that is Guru Shikhar.
72Abhī tum samajhtē hō ūñch tē ūñch hai śhivbābā , vah hai rachayitā .
71You now understand that Shiv Baba is the Highest on High; He is the Creator.
73Pahlē-pahlē kyā rachtē haĩ , vah bhī buddhi mē̃ rakhnā hai .
72What does He create first? 73This too should remain in your intellects.
74Ūñch tē ūñch hai śhivbābā phir haĩ brahmā-viṣhṇu-śhaṅkar sūkṣhmavatanvāsī , viṣhṇu kō chār bhujāyē̃ kyō̃ dētē haĩ ?
74Shiv Baba is the Highest on High. 75Then there are Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar, the residents of the subtle region. 76Why is Vishnu shown with four arms?
75Issē yah pravr̥itti mārg siddha hōtā hai .
77It is proof of the household path they follow.
76Tumhārā hai pravr̥itti mārg .
78Your path is the household path.
77Brahmā dvārā sthāpanā karātē haĩ .
79Establishment takes place through Brahma.
78Brāhmaṇ dharm hai ūñch tē ūñch , dēvtāō̃ sē bhī tum ūñch hō kyōṅki tum service kartē hō .
80The Brahmin religion is the highest of all; you are even more elevated than the deities because you do service.
79Daivī dharm key|kī sthāpanā kar phir tum viśhva K|kē mālik bantē hō .
81You carry out the establishment of the deity religion and you then become the masters of the world.
80Ūñch tē ūñch hai ēk bāp athavā mahimā lāyak ēk hī śhivbābā hai , dūsrā na kōī .
82The one Father is the highest of all, that is, only Shiv Baba, and no one else, is worthy of praise.
81Birth day ēk śhivbābā kā hī mukhya hai . 82Bākī tō kōī service nahī̃ kartē .
83The principal birthday is Shiv Baba’s, because no one else does as much service.
83Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ bhī prālabdh bhōgtē haĩ .
84Lakshmi and Narayan just experience their reward.
84Abhī tō sabkī kayāmat kā samay hai .
85It is now the time of settlement for everyone.
85Pahlē-pahlē bhakti bhī śhurū hōtī hai ēk bāp key|kī .
86Initially, it is the Father who is worshipped.
86Vah hai avyabhichārī bhakti .
87That worship is unadulterated.
87Abhī tō bilkul vyabhichārī ban gayē haĩ .
88Worship has now become completely adulterated.
88Tum śhivbābā sē lēkar sabhī K|kē occupation kō jāntē hō .
89Starting with Shiv Baba, you know everyone’s occupation.
89Abhī tum practical mē̃ bābā kē pās baiṭhē hō , jāntē hō ki ham phir sē bhārat kō svarg banā rahē haĩ .
90You are now sitting with Baba in practical. 91You understand that you are once again making Bharat into heaven.
90Jō banātē haĩ , vahī phir rājya karē̃gē .
92Those who create it will then go and rule there.
91Phir vahā̃ lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ key|kī dynasty chaltī hai phir rām key|kī .
93There, there will be the dynasty of Lakshmi and Narayan and then that of Rama.
92Ab unkī kyā pūjā karē̃ ?
94Now, what benefit is there in worshipping them?
93Unkō tō nīchē utarnā hī hai , prālabdh bhōg pūrī key|kī , bas .
95They have to descend. 96They simply experienced their reward, that’s all!
94Tum hī pūjya sē pujārī bantē hō .
97You are now becoming worthy of worship from worshippers.
95Tum jāntē hō ki bhakti mārg mē̃ kyā hōtā hai ?
98You understand what happens on the path of devotion and how you take 63 births.
9663 janm kaisē lētē haĩ ?
99You are now Brahmins.
97Abhī tum brāhmaṇ hō phir brāhmaṇ sē dēvtā , kṣhatriya , vaiśhya , śhūdra varṇō̃ mē āyēṅgē - yah drama anādi banā huā hai .
100Then, from Brahmins, you go through the deity, warrior, merchant and shudra castes. 101This drama is eternally fixed; no one can stop it.
98Kōī rōk nahī̃ saktā .
102This is a game of somersaulting.
99Bājōlī khēlī jātī hai nā .
103People go on a pilgrimage while somersaulting.
100Tīrthō̃ par bājōlī khēltē jātē haĩ . 101Āgē bājōlī kā baṛā prabhāv thā .
104Previously, the game of somersaulting while on a pilgrimage was considered very important.
102Abhī tō anēkānēk matē̃ nikal paṛī haĩ sivāē ēk bāp K|kē aur kōī mukti-jīvanmukti dē nahī̃ saktā .
105Now, so many different opinions have emerged. 106No one except the one Father can grant liberation or liberation-in-life.
103Ab tumhārī ēk āṅkh mē̃ hai mukti , dūsrī āṅkh mē̃ hai jīvanmukti .
107You now have liberation in one eye and liberation-in-life in the other.
104Buddhi kahtī hai ham light house haĩ .
108Your intellects say: We are lighthouses.
105Tum hō manuṣhyō̃ kō rāstā dikhānē vālē light house .
109You are the lighthouses who show human beings the path.
106Pahlē-pahlē jānā hai sweet home .
110First of all, you have to return to your sweet home.
107Abhī nāṭak pūrā hōnā hai .
111This play is now about to end.
108Tum bachchē jāntē hō ki yah sachchī gītā ādi kyō̃ banātē haĩ ? 109Jō kachchē haĩ vah paṛh kar pakkē banē̃ .
112You children understand that this true Gita is being created so that those who are weak can study it and become strong.
110Bākī tō yah sab ḵẖatm hō jānē haĩ .
113Everything else is to be destroyed.
111Phir vahī gītā ādi nikalēgī .
114The same Gita will be created again.
112Gītā kā ēk śhlōk uṭhākar uskā arth|earth kartē jātē haĩ .
115They quote a verse from the Gita and then explain the meaning of it.
113Gītā mē̃ tō hai bhagvānuvāch .
116It says in the Gita: “God speaks”.
114Gītā bhagvān nē sunāī thī , parantu samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
117It was God who spoke the Gita, but people don’t understand that.
115Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ in śhāstrō̃ sē nahī̃ miltā hū̃ , jab bhakti pūrī hōtī hai tab maĩ ātā hū̃ .
118The Father says: I cannot be found by studying those scriptures. 119I come when devotion ends. 120Knowledge is the day and devotion is the night.
116Gyān hai din , bhakti hai rāt .
121For half a cycle it is the kingdom of Ravan.
117Ādhākalp hai rāvaṇ kā rājya , rāvaṇ dēkhnē mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hai . 118Buddhi sē samajh saktē haĩ - inmē̃ kām kā bhūt , krōdh kā bhūt hai .
122Ravan is not visible. 123It can be understood with the intellect when someone has an evil spirit of lust and someone has an evil spirit of anger.
119Yah aśhuddh akṣhar satyug mē̃ kām nahī̃ ātē .
124These words of impurity are not used in the golden age.
120Yahā̃ tō ēk-dō kō gālī dētē rahtē haĩ .
125Here, people continue to insult one another.
121Yah sab bātē̃ satyug mē̃ nahī̃ hōtī .
126None of these things exist in the golden age.
122Abhī tum samajhtē hō bāp patit-pāvan svarg kā rachayitā hai .
127You now understand that the Father, the Purifier, is the Creator of heaven.
123Svarg rachkar phir apnē kō chhipā lētē haĩ .
128He creates heaven and then hides Himself away.
124Inkō kōī bhī jān nahī̃ saktā .
129No one is able to know Him.
125Bhal śhiv kā chitra hai parantu patā kuchh bhī nahī̃ . 126Śhivbābā kab āyā , kaisē āyā ? 127Brahmā , viṣhṇu , śhaṅkar kā kyā rāz hai , vah kahā̃ rahtē haĩ ?
130Even though there is the image of Shiva, people don’t understand anything about when or how Shiv Baba came, what the significance of Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar is or where they reside.
128Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō satyug mē̃ itnī ūñch rājāī kaisē milī ?
131How did Lakshmi and Narayan claim such an elevated kingdom in heaven?
129Kaliyug mē̃ tō hai nahī̃ .
132They do not exist in the iron age.
130Kaisē vah rājāī pātē haĩ - yah ab tum samajhtē hō .
133You now understand how they claimed the kingdom.
131Bachchō̃ kō bāp sē achchhī rīti paṛhkar phir aurō̃ kō paṛhānā hai .
134You children have to study very well with the Father and then teach others.
132Bāp sabhī bachchō̃ kō kahtē haĩ ki mērē sikīladhē bachchē , ō mērē sāligrāmō̃ maĩ is śharīr mē̃ ākar tumkō samjhātā hū̃ , is brahmā kā tan liyā huā hai .
135The Father says to all His children: My long-lost and now-found children, oh My saligrams, I enter this body in order to explain to you. 136I have adopted this body of Brahma.
133Brahmā sē brāhmaṇ paidā hōtē haĩ .
137Brahmins are created through Brahma.
134Aur kōī satsaṅg mē̃ aisē kōī manā nahī̃ hōtī hai . 135Yahā̃ manā kartē haĩ .
138People don’t object when you go to other satsangs, but they do object when you come here.
136Viṣh par hī jhagaṛē|jhagṛē hōtē haĩ .
139Quarrels take place due to poison.
137Jiskē liē hī bāp kahtē haĩ - yah viṣh ādi-madhy-ant duḥkh dētē haĩ .
140It is about this that the Father says: This poison causes you sorrow from its beginning through the middle to the end.
138Yah hai number one duśhman , is kām mahāśhatru kō jītō jisnē tumkō ādi-madhy-ant duḥkh diyā hai isliē kahtē haĩ patit-pāvan āō .
141This is the number one enemy. 142Conquer this enemy of lust, the enemy that has caused you sorrow from its beginning through the middle to the end.
139Jāntē haĩ ham patit haĩ tab tō jākar pāvan kē āgē māthā ṭēktē haĩ .
143This is why people call out: O Purifier come. 144They know that they are impure.
140Pavitratā key|kī kaśhiśh hōtī hai , isliē unhō̃ kā martabā rakhtē haĩ .
145That is why they go and bow their heads in front of pure ones.
141Vah bhī samajhtē haĩ , hamārē jaisā ūñch bhārat mē̃ kōī hai nahī̃ . 142Unhō̃ kō bhī tum śhaktiyō̃ nē bāṇ mārē haĩ .
146Sannyasis attract others with their purity and this is why they are given a high status.
143Agar sthūl bāṇō̃ key|kī bāt hōtī tō aisē thōṛēhī kahtē ki parampitā nē bāṇ maravāyē haĩ .
147They also think that no one throughout the whole of Bharat is as elevated as they are. 148You Shaktis also shot the arrows at them.
144Yah haĩ gyān K|kē bāṇ . 145Tum hō brahmākumāriyā̃ , vah phir brahm kumāriyā̃ kah dētē haĩ .
149If it had been a question of physical arrows, it would not have been said that it was God who inspired them to shoot those arrows.
146Kahtē haĩ brahm hī bhagvān hai .
150Those arrows were of knowledge.
147Bāp kahtē haĩ yah tumhārā bhram hai .
151You are Brahma Kumaris but they call you ‘brahm kumaris’.
148Ab tumhārē pās|pass sannyāsī lōg bhī bahut ātē haĩ .
152They say that the brahm (element of light) is God.
149Baṛē-baṛē ādmī sannyāsiyō̃ kē pās jātē haĩ .
153The Father says: That is their brahm (imagination).
150Bōltē haĩ - mahātmā jī , caliyē ham āpkō bhōjan khilāyē̃ .
154Many sannyasis now come to you. 155Many eminent people also go to the sannyasis.
