Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - pavitra rahnē key|kī kasam lēnā hī sachchā rakṣhābandhan hai , bāp kalp mē̃ ēk hī bār yah rākhī tum bachchō̃ kō bāndhtē haĩ ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, to take an oath for purityis true Raksha Bandhan. 2Only once in a cycle does the Father tie this rakhi on you children.

Question

2Praśhna  : pavitratā key|kī pratigyā karnē vālō̃ kō bhī yōg mē̃ rahnē kā iśhārā kyō̃ miltā hai  ?

3Question: Why do those who promise to remain pure receive a signal to stay in yoga?

Answer

3Uttar  : kyōṅki yōg key|kī śhakti sē hī vāyumaṇḍal kō śhānt banā saktē hō .

4Answer: Because it is with the power of yoga that you can make the atmosphere peaceful. 5Yoga is the only way for you to give everyone in the whole world the inheritance of peace.

4Sārī duniyā kō śhānti kā varsā dēnē kā upāya hī yōg hai .

6You remember the Father in order to spread peace throughout the world.

5Tum bāp kō yād kartē hō - viśhva mē̃ śhānti phailānē kē liē . 6Jitnā bāp kō yād karē̃gē utnā māyā kā asar nahī̃ hōgā .

7You will remain uninfluenced by Maya to the extent that you remember the Father.

7Bāp kā yahī farmān hai - bachchē , aśharīrī bhav .

8The Father’s order is: Children, be bodiless.

Song

8Gīt  : bhaiyā mērē rākhī K|kē bandhan kō nibhānā …

9Song: O brother, fulfil the responsibility of the bond of this rakhi.

Murli

9Ōm śhānti .

10Om shanti.

10Bēhad K|kē bāp kā bachchō̃ prati farmān hai ki aśharīrī hōkar rahō arthāt apnē kō ātmā niśhchay kar in karmēndriyō̃ sē apnē kō alag samjhō . 11Yah śharīr depend kartā hī hai ātmā kē ūpar .

11The unlimited Father’s order to you children is: Remain bodiless, that is, have the faith that you are souls and consider yourselves to be separate from your sense organs.

12Ātmā alag hō jātī hai tō śharīr kōī kām key|kī chīz nahī̃ rahtā , jiskō phir jalāyā jātā hai .

12The body depends on the soul. 13When the soul leaves, the body is of no use and is therefore cremated.

13Jab ātmā nikal jātī hai tō jaisē murdā , kichṛā hō jātā .

14When the soul leaves, the body becomes a corpse, rubbish.

14Kichṛā hōtā hai tō kahtē haĩ ki is kichṛē kō jalā dō .

15When there is rubbish, it is said: Burn this rubbish.

15Ātmā bigar yah śharīr kām kā nahī̃ hai .

16This body is useless without a soul.

16Tō aham ātmā immortal hai .

17Therefore, I, this soul, am immortal.

17Yah śharīr jō part bajānē liē miltā hai , yah vināśhī hai .

18The body each of you receives to play your part is mortal.

18Ātmā nikal jātī hai tō yah śharīr kōī kām kā nahī̃ rahtā . 19Badbū hō jātī hai .

19When the soul leaves, the body is of no use; it begins to smell.

20Śharīr K|kē bigar ātmā silence rahtī hai .

20A soul without a body remains in silence.

21Bāp samjhātē haĩ tumhārī ātmā kā svadharm hai silence .

21The Father explains: The original religion of you souls is silence.

22Tum jāntē hō ham ātmā vāstav mē̃ paramdhām key|kī rahnē vālī haĩ .

22You know that you souls actually reside in the supreme abode.

23Parampitā paramātmā bhī vahā̃ rahtē haĩ .

23The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, also resides there.

24Jab kōī duḥkh hōtā hai tō bāp kō yād kartē haĩ - mujhē is duḥkh sē chhuṛāō .

24When there is sorrow, everyone remembers the Father and says: Free us from this sorrow.

25Ātmā hī sukh-duḥkh mē̃ ātī hai .

25It is souls that experiences happiness and sorrow.

26Bahut sannyāsī ādi haĩ jō kahtē haĩ ātmā nirlēp hai parantu nahī̃ , ātmā mē̃ hī khād paṛtī hai .

26There are many sannyasis etc. who say that souls are immune to any effect of action. 27However, this is not so.

27Sachchē sōnē mē̃ silver paṛtī hai tō sōnā 24 carat sē 22 carat ban jātā hai .

28Alloy is mixed in souls. 29When pure gold has silver mixed into it, it changes from 24 carat gold to 22 carat gold.

28Sachchē sōnē mē̃ khād ḍāl dētē haĩ tō zewar mulammē kā hō jātā hai .

30When impurities are mixed into real gold, the jewellery is said to be gold-plated.

29Ātmā hī mukhya hai .

31The soul is the important thing.

30Ātmāō̃ kā bāp hai parampitā paramātmā .

32The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Father of souls.

31Vahī ākar is samay bachchō̃ kō kahtē haĩ ab śharīr kā bhān chhōṛ dō .

33He comes at this time and says to His children: Now renounce the consciousness of your bodies.

32Maĩ ātmā hū̃ , bāp kē pās jātā hū̃ .

34I am a soul and I am going to the Father. 35We are the Pandavas.

33Ham haĩ pāṇḍav .

36This is the plan of the Pandavas.

34Pāṇḍavō̃ kā plan yah hai . 35Pahlē yādav europe-vasi phir kaurav aur yah haĩ pāṇḍav .

37First, there are the Yadavas, the people of Europe, then the Kauravas and then there are these Pandavas.

36Barōbar mahābhārī laṛāī lagī aur phir jayjaykār hō gayā .

38The great Mahabharat War definitely did take place after which there were cries of victory.

37Yah rājyōg hai hī naī duniyā svarg kē liē .

39This Raj Yoga is for the new world of heaven.

38Pāṇḍavō̃ key|kī jayjaykār huī aur sab ḵẖalās hō gayē .

40There were cries of victory for the Pandavas and everyone else was destroyed.

39Jayjaykār hōtī hī hai satyug mē̃ .

41There are cries of victory in the golden age.

40Rākhī kā tyōhār bhāratvāsī manātē haĩ . 41Rākhī bāndhtē haĩ .

42The people of Bharat celebrate the Festival of Rakhi; they tie rakhis.

42Abhī yah bachchē jāntē haĩ rākhī ēk hī bār bāndhtē haĩ , jō phir ham 21 janm pavitra rahē̃ .

43You children now know that your rakhis are only tied once, through which you remain pure for 21 births.

43Tō jarūr kaliyug ant mē̃ rākhī bāndhnē vālā chāhiē .

44Therefore, the One who ties these rakhis is definitely needed at the end of the iron age.

44Rākhī kaun ākar bāndhtē haĩ  ?

45Who comes and ties those rakhis?

45Kaun pratigyā karātē haĩ  ?

46Who inspires you to make this promise?

46Svayã bāp aur jō unkē vaṅśhāvalī brāhmaṇ haĩ .

47The Father Himself and His children who are Brahmins.

47Sachchē-sachchē brāhmaṇ tum hō .

48You are true Brahmins.

48Brāhmaṇ hī rākhī bāndhtē haĩ .

49It is brahmins who tie rakhis.

49Bahan bhāī kō bāndhē - yah bhī jhūṭhī banāvaṭ hai .

50The system of a sister tying a rakhi on her brother is a false system.

50Bujurg lōg jāntē haĩ - āgē brāhmaṇ hī ākar dhāgē key|kī rākhī bāndhtē thē .

51Elderly people remember that, earlier, a brahmin priest would come to tie a rakhi of thread.

51Vah kōī aisē nahī̃ kahtē ki tumkō pavitra rahnā hai .

52They never said that you have to remain pure.

52Pavitratā kō vah jāntē hī nahī̃ .

53They don’t know what is meant by purity.

53Tō yah rākhī utsav jarūr saṅgam par huā hai . 54Kitnā varṣh huā  ?

54Therefore, this festival of Rakhi must surely have its origins in the confluence age.

555 hajār varṣh .

55How many years has it been?

56Saṅgam par bāp nē rākhī bāndhī phir ham satyug-trētā ant tak pavitra rahē phir bhakti mārg sē yah rākhī tyōhār śhurū hō gayā .

56Five thousand years: the Father came at the confluence age and tied these rakhis and we remained pure from the beginning of the golden age to the end of the silver age.

57Kahtē haĩ - yah utsav paramparā sē manātē āyē haĩ .

57Then, this festival of Rakhi began on the path of devotion.

58Parantu aisē tō hai nahī̃ . 595 hajār varṣh mē̃ ham ēk hī bār rākhī bāndhtē haĩ .

58People say that this festival has been celebrated from time immemorial, but that is not so.

60Jab dvāpar sē patit bantē haĩ tō varṣh-varṣh rākhī bāndhtē haĩ kyōṅki apavitr bantē haĩ .

59We only tie rakhis once in every 5000 years. 60Since you become impure from the copper age onwards, you have rakhis tied every year.

61Jaisē varṣh-varṣh rāvaṇ kō bhī jalātē haĩ , vaisē varṣh-varṣh rākhī bhī bāndhtē haĩ .

61Just as people burn Ravan every year, in the same way, they have rakhis tied every year.

62Vāstav mē̃ inkā arth|earth tum samajhtē hō .

62In fact, you are the ones who understand the meaning of this.

63Bāp ākar kahtē haĩ - bachchē , pratigyā karō .

63The Father comes and says: Children, make a promise.

64Rākhī bāndhnē sē kuchh nahī̃ hōtā hai .

64Nothing happens simply by having a rakhi tied.

65Yah tō kasam uṭhāyā jātā hai ki - bābā , ham abhī pavitra rahē̃gē .

65You have to take the oath: Baba, I will now remain pure.

66Tō drama mē̃ in utsavō̃ key|kī nūndh hai .

66So, these festivals are fixed in the drama.

67Satyug-trētā mē̃ rākhī bāndhnē key|kī darkār nahī̃ rahtī .

67There is no need to have a rakhi tied in the golden and silver ages.

68Vah hai hī viceless world .

68That is the viceless world.

69Is samay apnī hai chaṛhtī kalā .

69Now it is your stage of ascent.

70Phir tō utarnā hōtā hai . 71Ham phir sō satōpradhān dēvtā banē̃gē .

70Later, when you have to descend, we will then have become satopradhan deities again.

72Brāhmaṇ kahtē haĩ ham abhī īśhvar key|kī santān hai phir sō dēvtā bantē haĩ .

71You Brahmins say: We are now the children of God and we will then become deities.

73Banānē vālā hai parampitā paramātmā .

72It is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who makes you into those.

74Manuṣhya sē dēvtā nirākār parampitā paramātmā banātē haĩ .

73The incorporeal Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, changes you from humans into deities.

75Manuṣhya nahī̃ banā saktē .

74Human beings cannot make you into those.

76Unhōnnē manuṣhya kā nām ḍāl diyā hai .

75People have inserted the name of a human being.

77Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kō bhī dvāpar mē̃ lē gayē haĩ .

76They have also depicted Shri Krishna in the copper age.

78Tum patit sē pāvan kaliyug ant mē̃ bantē hō .

77At the end of the iron age you become pure from impure.

79Phir satyug ānā hai .

78Then the golden age comes.

80Agar dvāpar mē̃ āyē tō phir kaliyug kā nām gum hō jānā chāhiē .

79If he were to come in the copper age, his name would have disappeared in the iron age.

81Yah wrong bāt hai , jab wrong hō tab tō bāp ākar right banāyē nā .

80However, that is wrong. 81Only when it is wrong does the Father come to put it right.

82Abhī sab jhūṭhē haĩ .

82Everyone is now false.

83Jhūṭhī māyā , jhūṭhī kāyā … .

83Maya is false and bodies are also false.

84Bāp ākar bachchō̃ kō sachchā banātē haĩ .

84The Father comes and makes us children true.

85Satyug-trētā mē̃ kabhī jhūṭh bōltē hī nahī̃ .

85No one tells lies in the golden and silver ages.

86Yahā̃ tō pāp kartē jhūṭh bōltē rahtē haĩ .

86Here, people commit sin and tell lies.

87Pāp ātmāō̃ kō puṇya ātmā tō bāp hī banāyēṅgē .

87Only the Father can transform sinful souls into pure, charitable souls.

88Jaisē dīpmālā par sārē varṣh kā hisāb-kitāb chuktū kartē haĩ nā .

88At the time of Deepmala, people settle their accounts for the whole year.

89Tumhārā phir ādhākalp kā jō pāpō̃ kā khātā hai vah bhasma hōtā hai aur puṇya kā khātā tum jamā kartē jātē hō . 90Yahā̃ hī jamā karē̃gē tab 21 janma liē phal milēgā .

89Your account of sin of half a cycle is burnt away and you begin to accumulate an account of charity. 90It is only when you accumulate here that you will receive the fruit of it for 21 births.

91Bāp kō yād karnē sē hī vikarma vināśh hōṅgē .

91Only by remembering the Father will your sins be absolved.

92Nayā kōī pāp nahī̃ karnā chāhiē .

92You must not commit any new sin.

93Purānā khātā ḵẖalās karnā hai .

93Each of you has to end your old account.

94Bāp kō batlātē haĩ ki bābā hamsē yah pāp huā .

94Some tell the Father: Baba, I have committed such-and-such a sin.

95Achchhā , ādhā māph hai .

95Achcha, half is forgiven.

96Is jīvan mē̃ bhī chhōṭēpan mē̃ pāp kiyā hai tō vah batlānē sē ādhā daṇḍ kaṭ jāyēgā .

96Even if you have committed sins in your childhood of this birth, by telling Baba, half the punishment will be cut away.

97Bākī ādhā kē liē phir bhī mēhnat karnī paṛēgī .

97However, you still have to make effort for the other half.

98Is janm key|kī jīvan kahānī sē āgē kā bhī patā paṛ jātā hai kyōṅki saṅskār lē ātē haĩ nā . 99Phir unkī avasthā kā patā paṛ jātā .

98From your life story of this birth, one can also know about your previous birth, because each soul carries his sanskars with him and the stage of the soul can be understood.

100Yah tō samajhtē haĩ din-pratidin nīchē hī girtē āyē haĩ .

99You understand that, day by day, your stage has been falling.

101Duniyā tamōpradhān bantī jātī . 102Pāp baṛhtē jātē haĩ .

100The world continues to become tamopradhan and sins continue to increase.

103Phir patit-pāvan bāp ākar rākhī bāndhtē haĩ arthāt pratigyā karātē haĩ tō tum pavitra ban jātē hō . 104Paramparā arthāt her|har pāñch hajār varṣh bād yah sachchī-sachchī rākhī bāp sē bandhavātē phir uskī rasm-rivāj ādhā kalp chaltī hai .

101The Purifier Father now comes and ties a rakhi on each of you, that is, He makes you promise to become pure. ‘Time immemorial’ means that every 5000 years you have this true rakhi tied on you by the Father. 102Then this custom and system continues for half a cycle.

105Uskā mahatva bahut hai .

103There is great importance given to it.

106Pahlē-pahlē mahatva hai jō rākhī bāndhtē haĩ .

104The foremost importance is given to the tying of rakhi.

107Unkā utsav hai mukhya .

105This festival is a main one.

108Ūñch tē ūñch utsav hai śhiv jayantī , jiskā kōī kō patā nahī̃ hai ki vah kab āyē , kyā ākar kiyā  ?

106The highest festival of all is Shiv Jayanti. 107No one knows Him or when He comes or what he does when He comes.

109Ibrāhim , buddha , Christ ādi kab āyē yah tō sab jāntē haĩ nā .

108Everyone knows when Abraham, Buddha and Christ came.

110Unsē āgē satyug-trētā mē̃ kyā thā - vah history-geography kōī jāntē nahī̃ . 111Dēvī-dēvatāō̃ key|kī rājdhānī kaisē sthāpan huī , kitnā samay chalī - yah kōī jāntē nahī̃ .

109No one knows the history and geography of what existed before them in the golden and silver ages - how the kingdom of deities was established and how long it lasted.

112Mukh sē kahtē haĩ - satyug K|kē lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ sarvguṇ sampann , 16 kalā sampūrṇ , sampūrṇ nirvikārī thē .

110No one knows this. 111They say that Lakshmi and Narayan of the golden age were all-virtuous, 16 celestial degrees full and completely viceless.

113Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ tō huē mahārājā-mahārānī .

112Lakshmi and Narayan were the empress and emperor.

114Unhō̃ kā bachpan bhī chāhiē .

113There has to be their childhood too.

115Bachchō̃ kā kiskō patā nahī̃ haĩ .

114However, no one knows their childhood.

116Rādhē-kr̥iṣhṇa kō phir ulṭā dvāpar mē̃ lē jātē haĩ .

115Radhe and Krishna have been falsely shown in the copper age.

117Yah manuṣhyō̃ key|kī apnī kalpanā hai .

116All of that comes from the imagination of human beings.

118Satyug key|kī āyu bhī lākhō̃ varṣh likh dī hai , itnī tō hōnī nahī̃ chāhiē .

117They have even elongated the duration of the golden age to hundreds of thousands of years; it cannot be that long.

119Khud bhī kahtē haĩ - 3 hajār varṣh before Christ barōbar dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kā rājya thā .

118They themselves say that 3000 years before Christ there was definitely the kingdom of deities.

120Tō phir satyug kō itnē varṣh kyō̃ dētē haĩ  ? 121Sahaj bāt hai nā .

119In that case, how can they estimate the golden age to be so many years long?

122Parantu māyā pattharbuddhi banā dētī hai jō bilkul hī bhūl jātē haĩ ki ham dēvī-dēvtā thē .

120This is a simple thing, but Maya has turned everyone’s intellect to stone so that they have completely forgotten that they were deities.

123Number one hī jab nārāyaṇ bantā tō unkō yah gyān nahī̃ hōtā . 124Gyān prāyaḥlōp hō jātā hai .

121When the number one becomes Narayan, he doesn’t have this knowledge His knowledge disappears.

125Bāp kahtē haĩ abhī tumkō gyān dētā hū̃ - manuṣhya sē dēvtā banānē kā .

122The Father says: I am now giving you the knowledge for becoming deities from human beings.

126Dēvtā ban gayē phir kyā sikhlāyēṅgē  ?

123What more can be taught once you become deities?

127Darkār hī nahī̃ .

124There would be no need.

128Tō rākhī kā utsav bhī tum jāntē hō .

125You understand the meaning of the festival of Rakhi.

129Yah sab utsav varṣh-varṣh hōtē haĩ .

126All of these festivals also take place every year.

130Kumbha kā mēlā , sāgar-nadī kā mēlā bhī baṛā bhārī lagtā hai .

127A huge kumbh mela takes place where the ocean and the river meet.

131Sāgar aur brahm putrā nadī kā mēlā maśhhūr hai .

128The meeting of the ocean and the Brahmaputra River is famous.

132Sāgar tō bāp hai .

129The Father is the Ocean.

133Unsē pahlē yah brahm putrā nikalī phir vr̥iddhi hōtī jātī hai .

130This Brahmaputra is the first one to emerge from Him, and then there is gradually expansion.

134Sāgar aur brahm putrā kā mēlā dēkhnē mē̃ ātā hai .

131The meeting of the ocean and the Brahmaputra River can be clearly seen.

135Vahā̃ phir hai nadiyō̃ kā mēlā , usmē̃ bhī sāph pānī aur mailā pānī dikhāī paṛtā hai .

132There, (Rivers Ganges and Jamuna) they have a meeting of the rivers. 133There, it is clearly visible that one river has clean water and the other has dirty water.

136Vahā̃ bhī her|har varṣh mēlā lagtā hai .

134A mela takes place every year.

137Varṣh-varṣh jākar patit sē pāvan bannē snān kartē haĩ .

135Every year people go there to bathe in order to change from impure to pure.

138Abhī tum saṅgamyug par hō .

136You are now at the confluence age.

139Barōbar is samay tum gyān sāgar sē ākar milē hō .

137You have truly come and met the Ocean of Knowledge at this time.

140Yah hai saṅgam kā suhāvanā samay jabki ātmāō̃ kā parampitā paramātmā sē milan hōtā hai .

138This is the beautiful meeting of the confluence age in which the meeting of souls with the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, takes place.

141Tum bachchē jāntē hō - jō bhī parv manātē haĩ vah sab abhī K|kē haĩ .

139You children know that all the religious festivals that are celebrated belong to this time.

142Āj hai rakṣhābandhan .

140Today, it is the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

143Bābā thōṛī rākhī bhī lē āyē haĩ .

141Baba has brought a few rakhis with him.

144Ab bābā pūchhtē haĩ - kiskō śhivbābā sē rākhī bandhavānī hai vah hāth uṭhāvē̃ ( pahlē dō chār nē hāth uṭhāyā ) phir bābā nē kahā - śhivbābā sē jinkō rākhī bandhavānī hō vah hāth uṭhāvē .

142Now, Baba asks you: Those who want to have a rakhi tied on them by Shiv Baba, raise your hands. 143(At first only two to four raised their hands) Then Baba asked again: Raise your hand if you want a rakhi tied on you by Shiv Baba.

145Tō majority nē hāth uṭhāyā .

144(The majority raised their hands).

146Bāpdādā bōlē - kyā tum sab pāvan nahī̃ banē hō jō rākhī bandhavātē hō  ?

145Have you not all become pure that you need to have a rakhi tied?

147Phir mama sē bāpdādā nē pūchhā tō mama bōlī rākhī tō bāndhī hī huī hai .

146BapDada then asked Mama. 147Mama replied: The rakhi has already been tied.

148Dēkhō , bābā nē bachchō̃ key|kī parīkṣhā lī tō sab fail hō gayē .

148Just look, Baba was testing you children and you all failed.

149Mama nē ṭhīk kahā .

149Mama gave the correct answer.

150Tum tō pavitra hō hī .

150You are pure anyway.

151Bākī gyān key|kī dhārṇā par madār hai .

151However, the rest depends on imbibing knowledge.

152Khajānā tō miltā hī rahēgā .

152You will continue to receive treasures.

153Jab tak jītē hō tab tak khajānā ikaṭṭhā kartē rahō .

153You must continue to accumulate these treasures for as long as you live.

154Pavitra tō tum hō parantu yād mē̃ rahnē sē tum vāyumaṇḍal kō śhānt banātē hō .

154You are pure, but, by staying in remembrance, you make the atmosphere peaceful.

155Sārī duniyā kō śhānti kā varsā dē rahē hō .

155You are giving the inheritance of peace to the whole world.

156Pavitratā key|kī hī pratigyā kī jātī hai .

156You make a promise of purity.

157Bāp kō yād kartē hō - śhānti phailānē liē .

157You remember the Father in order to spread peace.

158Yah bhī tum jāntē hō jitnā bāp kō yād karē̃gē , māyā kā asar nahī̃ hōgā .

158You know that to whatever extent you remember the Father, you will accordingly not be influenced by Maya.

159Māyā K|kē tūphān bhī ātē haĩ nā .

159Storms of Maya will also come.

160Bāp tum bachchō̃ kō paṛhākar trikāldarśhī banā rahē haĩ .

160The Father teaches you children to become trikaldarshis (seers of the three aspects of time).

161Drama K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō tum jāntē hō .

161You understand the beginning, the middle and the end of the drama.

162Tumhārā yah bhūlnā bhī drama mē̃ hai isliē phir sē mujhē ānā paṛtā hai - tum bachchō̃ kō rājyōg sikhlānē .

162Your forgetting is also fixed in the drama and this is why I have to come again and teach you children Raj Yoga.

163Śhiv jayantī manātē haĩ parantu arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē .

163Although people celebrate Shiv Jayanti, they don’t know the meaning of it.

164Bābā nē rākhī lāī thī kyōṅki ēk bachchā nayā āyā thā .

164Baba has brought a rakhi to class with him because a new child has come.

165Yah pān kā bīṛā uṭhānā hōtā hai . 166Bābā ham rākhī bandhavātē haĩ .

165This is taking the initiative: Baba, I am going to have a rakhi tied on me.

167Ham pavitra ban kyō̃ nahī̃ bēhad K|kē bāp sē varsā lē̃gē kyōṅki ismē̃ pavitratā hai first .

166Purity is first, and so why should I not become pure and claim my inheritance from the unlimited Father?

168Bēhad kā bāp kahtē haĩ ādhā kalp tumnē viṣhay gutter mē̃ bahut gōtē khāyē haĩ .

167The unlimited Father says: For half the cycle, you have been floundering in the gutter of poison.

169Yah hai hī kumbhī pāk nark .

168These are the extreme depths of hell.

17063 janm gōtē khāyē haĩ ab pratigyā karō - bābā , ham bhī pavitra duniyā mē̃ chal sukh kā varsā lū̃gā .

169You have been floundering for 63 births, so now make a promise: Baba, I too will go to the pure world and claim my inheritance of happiness.

171Parantu himmat nahī̃ dēkhtē haĩ .

170However, some do not have the courage.

172Yah hai gyān mān sarōvar .

171This is the Mansarovar Lake of knowledge.

173Ismē̃ gyān snān karnē sē manuṣhya svarg key|kī parī ban jātē haĩ .

172By bathing in this knowledge, human beings become angels of heaven.

174Bhāratvāsī lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ādi K|kē mandir banātē haĩ parantu unkō patā thōṛēhī hai ki vah kab āyē thē , tō yah huī andhaśhraddhā .

173The people of Bharat built temples to Lakshmi and Narayan etc., but they don’t know when they came, and so that is blind faith.

175Tum bachchō̃ kō ab bāp nē āp samān master gyān sāgar banāyā hai .

174The Father has now come to make you children become like Himself, master oceans of knowledge.

176Jaisē barrister paṛhkar āp samān banātē haĩ , phir number-vār puruṣhārth anusār pās|pass hōtē haĩ .

175A barrister teaches his pupils and makes them become like himself. 176Then they all pass, numberwise, according to their efforts.

177Yah bhī paṛhāī hai .

177Similarly, this, too, is a study.

178Aim object clear likhā huā hai .

178The aim and objective has been clearly written.

179Śhivbābā kā bhī chitra hai .

179There is also the image of Shiv Baba.

180Parantu samajhtē kuchh nahī̃ haĩ .

180However, people don’t understand anything.

181Gātē haĩ patit-pāvan sītārām .

181They sing: O Purifier, Sita Ram!

182Yah hai hī rāvaṇ sampradāy isliē bāp kahtē haĩ apnī śhakla dēkhō - 16 kalā sampūrṇ , sampūrṇ nirvikārī hō  ?

182This is the community of Ravan. 183This is why the Father says: Examine your face and see if you have become 16 celestial degrees full, completely viceless.

183Apnē kō ātmā niśhchay kartē hō  ?

184Do you have the faith that you are a soul?

184Tumhārī ātmā kā bāp kaun hai  ?

185Who is the Father of you, that soul?

185Unkō nahī̃ jāntē tō tum nāstik ṭhaharē .

186If you don’t know Him, you are an atheist.

186Phir nāstik lakṣhmī kō kaisē varē̃gē  ?

187In that case, how can you, an atheist, marry Lakshmi or Narayan?

187Tum jāntē hō barōbar ham bandar sampradāy thē . 188Ab ham śhrī nārāyaṇ kō varnē lāyak bantē haĩ .

188You understand that you definitely belonged to the community of monkeys and that you are now becoming worthy of marrying Shri Narayan.

189Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ tumkō māyā rāvaṇ K|kē rājya sē liberate karnē āyā hū̃ .

189The Father says: I have come to liberate you from the kingdom of Maya, Ravan.

190Phir rāvaṇ kā but kabhī jalāyēṅgē hī nahī̃ .

190You will then no longer need to burn an effigy of Ravan.

191Yah samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

191This is something to be understood.

192Jitnā puruṣhārth karē̃gē utnā achchhā varsā pāyēṅgē .

192The more effort you make, the better the inheritance you will claim.

193Bābā batā saktē haĩ - tum is samay K|kē puruṣhārth anusār kyā banē̃gē  ?

193Baba can tell you what you will become according to your present efforts.

194Ājkal manuṣhyō̃ key|kī maut tō baṛī cheap ( sastī ) hai .

194Nowadays, the death of human beings is very cheap.

195Vahā̃ tō samay par āyu pūrī huī jhaṭ mālūm paṛēgā hamkō yah chōlā chhōṛ dūsrā nayā lēnā hai .

195There, when your lifespan ends, you will know straightaway that you have to shed those bodies and take new ones.

196Naī-naī ātmāyē̃ ātī haĩ tō pahlē-pahlē unhō̃ key|kī mahimā hōtī hai , phir kam hō jātī hai .

196When new souls come down, they are praised a great deal at first. 197Then the praise gradually decreases.

197Satō , rajō , tamō sē harēk kō pās|pass karnā paṛtā hai .

198Everyone has to pass through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.

198Bābā ākar satōpradhān banātē haĩ .

199Baba comes and makes you satopradhan.

199Yah bhī wonder hai . 200Itnī krōṛ ātmāō̃ kō apnā avināśhī part milā huā hai jō kabhī vināśh nahī̃ hō saktā .

200It is a wonder that so many billions of souls have received their own imperishable parts which can never be destroyed.

201Ātmā itnī chhōṭī-sī bindī hai , unmē̃ sārā avināśhī part bharā huā hai , iskō kudrat kahā jātā hai .

201Souls are such tiny points and yet they have their entire, imperishable parts contained within them. 202This is called the wonder of nature.

202Nayā kōī in bātō̃ kō samajh na sakē .

203New ones cannot understand these things.

203Baṛī guhya bātē̃ haĩ .

204These are very deep matters.

204Śhiv kā rūp tō yahī dikhātē haĩ nā .

205Shiva’s form has been shown in this way.

205Agar ham inkā rūp badlā dē̃ tō kahē̃ inkī tō duniyā sē nyārī bātē̃ haĩ .

206If we were to change His form, people would say that our views are different from those of the rest of the world.

206Naī duniyā kē liē naī bātē̃ abhī tum suntē hō .

207You are now listening to new things for the new world.

207Phir kalp bād bhī tum hī ākar sunē̃gē .

208Then, after a cycle, it is you who will come to listen again.

208Tō patit-pāvan bāp nē pratigyā karāī thī , jinhō̃ nē yah pratigyā key|kī vahī svarg K|kē mālik banē̃ isliē yah tyōhār manāyā jātā hai .

209Therefore, the Father, the Purifier, made you make a promise and those who made this promise became the masters of heaven. 210This is why this festival is celebrated.

209Sachchē-sachchē brāhmaṇ tum hō .

211You are true Brahmins.

210Sarasvatī brāhmaṇī ūñchī gāī jātī hai .

212Saraswati has been remembered as the highest Brahmin.

211Achchhā  !

213Achcha.

212Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .

214To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

213Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .

215The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
