Essence
1 « mīṭhē bachchē - jab tak ātmā part mē̃ hai tab tak usē 100 percent rest mil nahī̃ saktī , rest miltī hai nirvāṇdhām mē̃ , vahā̃ kōī part nahī̃ ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, as long as souls are playing their parts, they cannot take 100 percent rest. 2They take a rest in the land of nirvana where there is no part to play.
Question
2Praśhna : jō bachchē chaltē-chaltē paṛhāī sē thak jātē haĩ unhē̃ phir kaun sē saṅkalp ātē haĩ jō vikalp kā rūp lē lētē haĩ ?
3Question: What thoughts do the children who become tired of studying have which then become sinful thoughts?
Answer
3Uttar : 1 . unhē̃ bāp kō chhōṛ dēnē K|kē arthāt phārkatī dēnē K|kē saṅkalp ātē haĩ . 4Bābā kahtē - yah saṅkalp ānā bhī vikalp hai . 5Aisā saṅkalp karnā bhī pāp hai . 6Paṛhāī na paṛhnā mānā hī thak jānā .
4Answer: 1. They have thoughts of leaving the Father, that is, of divorcing the Father.
7Aisē bachchē apnā khānā kharāb kar dētē haĩ .
5Baba says: To have this thought is to have a sinful thought.
82 . agar kisī bāt K|kē kāraṇ kōī māt-pitā sē rūṭh jātē haĩ tō vah 21 janmō̃ key|kī bādśhāhī ganvā dētē haĩ .
6It is a sin to have such a thought. 7Not to study means to become tired. 8Such children spoil their income.
Murli
9Gīt : āj andhērē mē̃ haĩ insān …
9 2. If you sulk with the Mother and Father due to any situation, you lose the sovereignty of 21 births. 10Song: People of today are in darkness.
10Ōm śhānti .
11Om shanti.
11Yah hai bhakti kā gīt vā prārthanā . 12Kiskē pās|pass prārthanā kartē haĩ ?
12This is a song and a prayer of the path of devotion.
13Bhagvān kē pās .
13Whom do they pray to?
14Parantu ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ hōnē kāraṇ bhagvān kō jāntē hī nahī̃ .
14To God but, because of being in extreme darkness, they don’t know God.
15Tō ab sunē kaun ?
15So, who would listen to them?
16Jab bhagvān unhō̃ key|kī pukār sunē tab ākar jyōti jagāyē .
16Only when God hears their call can He come and ignite their lights.
17Parantu bachchē bhagvān kō jāntē hī nahī̃ tō sunē̃gē phir kaisē ?
17However, children don't know God, so how can He hear them?
18Abhī tum sammukh baiṭhē hō , bhagvān tumkō ghōr andhiyārē sē ghōr sōjharē mē̃ lē jā rahē haĩ .
18You are now sitting personally in front of Him. 19God is taking you from extreme darkness into extreme light.
19Gātē bhī haĩ brahmā kī rāt aur brahmā kā din .
20It is remembered: The night of Brahma and the day of Brahma.
20Rāt mē̃ dar-dar bhaṭaktē bhī bahut haĩ .
21They wander around a lot from door to door in the night.
21Pahāṛō̃ par , ṭikāṇē , mandirō̃ , masjidō̃ mē jātē haĩ . 22Parantu bhagvān milēgā kahā̃ ?
22They go to the mountains, religious places, temples and mosques etc., but where would anyone find God?
23Bhagvān kā janm bhī bhārat mē̃ manātē haĩ . 24Śhiv rātri kahtē haĩ nā .
23People celebrate the birth of God in Bharat; they speak of the night of Shiva.
25Barōbar unkī yādgār pratimāyē̃ bhī bhārat mē̃ haĩ . 26Parantu samajhtē nahī̃ ki vah kab ātē haĩ !
24There truly are images as memorials of Him in Bharat, but they don't understand when He comes.
27Bilkul ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ .
25They are completely in the dark.
28Abhī tum ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ nahī̃ hō .
26You are no longer in complete darkness.
29Tum number-vār puruṣhārth anusār sōjharē mē̃ ātē jātē hō .
27You are continuing to come into the light, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.
30Tum bachchē jāntē hō yah sārī sr̥iṣhṭi key|kī rachnā kaun aur kaisē kartē haĩ .
28You children know who creates this whole world and how He creates it.
31Tum yahā̃ āyē hō - īśhvarīy viśhvavidyālay mē̃ , jahā̃ īśhvar paṛhātē haĩ , manuṣhya sē dēvtā banātē haĩ .
29You have come here to this world spiritual university where God is teaching you and making you into deities from human beings.
32Yah knowledge tumhārē mē̃ bhī number-vār samajhtē haĩ .
30Among you, too, you understand this knowledge numberwise.
33Kōī tō achchhī rīti samajhtē haĩ , kōī pūrā nahī̃ samajhnē vālē bhāgantī hō jātē haĩ , māt-pitā sē rūṭh paṛtē haĩ .
31Some understand very well, whereas others, who don't understand fully, run away; they sulk with the Mother and Father.
34Jinkē liē gāyā huā hai - āśhcharyavat aisē māt-pitā sē rūṭh paṛtē haĩ .
32Of such ones, it is remembered that they were the ones who were amazed and who then began to sulk with the Mother and Father.
35Paśhantī , kathantī phir rūṭh paṛantī . . . . jāntē haĩ māt-pitā sē hamkō 21 janma liē svarg kī bādśhāhī miltī hai , phir bhī bhūl jātē haĩ .
33They like this knowledge, they relate it to others and then they become those who sulk. 34You know that you receive the sovereignty of heaven from the Mother and Father for 21 births and yet you forget Him.
36Bābā nē samjhāyā hai - jiskō śhānti kahā jātā hai vah miltī hī hai śhāntidhām athavā nirvāṇdhām mē̃ , uskō muktidhām bhī kahā jātā hai .
35Baba has explained that what you call peace can only be received in the land of peace, the land of nirvana. 36That is also called the land of liberation.
37Agar kōī kahē ham 100 percent rest mē̃ haĩ , parantu yah akṣhar kōī hai nahī̃ .
37If some say that they are at 100 percent rest, there is no such thing.
38Sārē din mē̃ kōī na kōī karma jarūr chaltā hai .
38Throughout the day, they definitely perform one type of action or another.
39Hā̃ , alpkāl kē liē rāt K|kē nīnd kō rest kahtē haĩ kyōṅki ātmā kahtī hai maĩ sārā din kām karkē thak gayī hū̃ , ab rest lētī hū̃ .
39Yes, they can call sleep at night temporary rest because the soul says: Having worked through the whole day I am tired and so I am now taking a rest.
40Apnē kō detach kar dētē haĩ .
40The soul detaches himself.
41Yah tō jāntē hō - bāp rahtē hī haĩ śhānti-dēśh mē̃ yā aisē samajhtē hō ki parampitā paramātmā vahā̃ rest mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
41You know that the Father resides in the land of peace and you understand that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, stays there at rest.
42Paramātmā rest mē̃ tab rahtē haĩ jab unkā part nahī̃ hai .
42God is at rest when He doesn’t have a part to play.
43Muktidhām mē̃ kōī kām nahī̃ kartē haĩ .
43No one does any work in the land of liberation.
44Yah baṛī samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .
44These matters have to be understood.
45Abhī tumhārī buddhi kā tālā khultā jātā hai .
45The locks on your intellects are now continuing to open.
46Bāp kahtē haĩ tumkō patā hai maĩ rest mē̃ kab rahtā hū̃ ?
46The Father asks: Do you know when I am at rest?
47Jabki tum bachchē svarg mē̃ , sukh mē̃ rahtē hō .
47When you children are in heaven, in happiness.
48Vahā̃ tumkō sukh-śhānti hai .
48There, you have peace and happiness.
49Uskō rest nahī̃ kahā jāyēgā .
49That is not called rest.
50Rest mē̃ tab kahē̃ jab tumhārā kōī part nahī̃ hai .
50You can say you are at rest when you don't have a part to play.
51Tum jab svarg mē̃ hō tō mujhē kōī mēhnat nahī̃ karnī paṛtī .
51When you are in heaven, I don't have to make any effort.
52Maĩ vahā̃ ( ghar mē̃ ) śhānt mē̃ rahtā hū̃ , śhānti kā dūsrā akṣhar vahā̃ rest kahē̃gē .
52I stay there (at home) in peace. 53Another name for peace there is rest. 54You cannot stay at rest here.
53Yahā̃ tō rest mē̃ rah nahī̃ saktē haĩ .
55The soul says: I am at rest when I go to sleep at night.
54Ātmā kahtī hai - maĩ rest mē̃ tab hū̃ jabki rāt kō nīnd kartī hū̃ , us samay rest mē̃ hū̃ yā śhānt mē̃ hū̃ - bāt ēk hī hai .
56At that time, whether I am at rest or in peace, it is the same thing. 57You become bodiless at night; you become peaceful.
55Rāt kō aśharīrī ban jātē haĩ , śhānt hō jātē haĩ .
58Then, when you wake up, you start to act and you are then at ‘unrest’.
56Phir uṭhtē haĩ tō karma mē̃ ātē haĩ phir bhī un-rest hai .
59When performing any act you experience ‘unrest’ (restlessness).
57Karma kartē un-rest bhāstī hai .
60In the golden age there is no question of ‘unrest’.
58Satyug mē̃ un-rest kā savāl nahī̃ , un-rest kartī hai māyā .
61It is Maya that makes you restless (unrest).
59Vahā̃ aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki ham rest mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
62There, you would not say that you are at rest.
60Kām-kāj sab kartē haĩ parantu aśhānt nahī̃ rahtē haĩ .
63While doing all your work, you don’t remain peaceless.
61Bākī rest akṣhar hai nahī̃ .
64The word ‘rest’ doesn’t exist there.
62Samjhō kōī kahtē haĩ ham śhimlā jātē haĩ rest kē liē , parantu rest kā arth|earth nahī̃ .
65For instance, someone might say: I am going to Simla for a rest, but that is not the meaning of ‘at rest’.
63Sachchī rest tab hai jab ham nirvāṇdhām mē̃ rahtē haĩ , vahā̃ chup rahtē haĩ .
66True rest is when we are in the land of nirvana. 67There, we remain silent.
64Bākī rest kōī kō nahī̃ hai .
68In fact, there is no rest.
65Kōī kahē hamkō 100 percent rest hai tō yah wrong hai .
69When someone says that he is at 100 percent rest, it is wrong.
66Iskō agyān kahā jāē .
70That is called ignorance.
67Hā̃ , yah jarūr kahā jāyēgā - paṛhāī nahī̃ paṛhnē chāhtē tō rest lētē haĩ .
71Yes, it would definitely be said: If someone doesn't want to study, he takes a rest.
68Na paṛhnā , rest lēnā yah tō phir thaknā hō gayā .
72Not to study and to take a rest means you are tired.
69Apnā hī khānā kharāb kartē haĩ .
73You then spoil your own income.
70Samjhāyā jātā hai - hē rāt K|kē rāhī , svarg key|kī rāh par chaltē-chaltē thak mat jānā , rūṭh nahī̃ jānā .
74It is said: O traveller of the night, don't become weary while walking on the path to heaven. 75Don't sulk.
71Māt-pitā kō fārkatī dēnē kā tō saṅkalp bhī nahī̃ uṭhānā chāhiē .
76The thought of divorcing the Mother and Father should not even arise.
72Yah saṅkalp uṭhāyā tō uskō vikalp kahā jātā hai .
77If you have that thought, it is a sinful thought.
73Aisē māt-pitā jissē svarg kī rājāī miltī hai , uskē liē saṅkalp bhī kyō̃ uṭhāyē̃ !
78Why should you have such a thought about the Mother and Father from whom you receive the kingdom of heaven?
74Likhtē haĩ kabhī-kabhī saṅkalp ātā hai - chhōṛ dē̃ , kuchh samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā .
79Sometimes, some write: I sometimes have the thought of leaving this study. 80I can't understand anything.
75Arē , samajhnē kā tō yah time hai nā .
81Oh, but this is the time to understand, is it not?
76Samajhnā arthāt paṛhnā , tum jāntē hō ham paṛh rahē haĩ .
82To understand means to study. 83You know that we are studying.
77Parampitā paramātmā jō gyān sāgar hai , ūñch tē ūñch hai unkō kōī bhī jāntē nahī̃ .
84No one knows the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who is the Ocean of Knowledge, the Highest on High.
78Bhal brahmā-viṣhṇu-śhaṅkar athavā lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō jāntē haĩ parantu bhāratvāsiyō̃ kō yah patā nahī̃ ki lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ nē rājya kab liyā aur kisnē diyā ?
85Although the people of Bharat know Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar and Lakshmi and Narayan, they don't know when Lakshmi and Narayan claimed their kingdom or who gave it to them.
79Māyā nē bilkul hī ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ ḍāl diyā hai .
86Maya has put everyone into extreme darkness.
80Bāp ākar samjhātē haĩ - rachtā bāp manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi key|kī rachnā kaisē kartē haĩ ?
87The Father comes and explains how the Creator Father creates the human world.
81Yah tō kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē .
88No one knows this at all.
82Bāp hī baiṭh samjhātē haĩ prajāpitā brahmā kō creator nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
89The Father alone sits here and explains. 90Prajapita Brahma cannot be called the Creator.
83Bhal prajāpitā kahā jātā hai parantu vah rachtā nahī̃ .
91Although he is called the Father of People, he is not the Creator.
84Manuṣhya kahtē haĩ hamkō allāh nē paidā kiyā .
92Some people say that Allah created them.
85Nirākār father kō hī rachtā kahē̃gē .
93Only the incorporeal Father would be called the Creator.
86Rachtā bāp kō jarūr manuṣhya hī jānē̃gē , jānvar tō nahī̃ jānē̃gē .
94It is only human beings who can know the Father, the Creator.
87Jānvar tō mukh sē nahī̃ kahēgā ki hamkō paramātmā nē rachā hai .
95Animals could not know Him. 96Animals couldn’t say that the Supreme Soul created them.
88Manuṣhya kahē̃gē hamkō bhagvān nē rachā hai .
97Human beings would say that God created them.
89Tō bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ - tum dēkhō yah rachnā kaisē rachī ?
98So, the Father sits here and explains: Look how this creation is created.
90Pahlē-pahlē rachnā hōtī hai mukh vaṅśhāvalī key|kī .
99First of all, there is a mouth-born creation.
91Bachchē kō baṛā hōkar phir bāp bannā hai .
100Children have to grow up and then become fathers.
92Yah bēhad kā bāp kahtē haĩ - dēkhō , maĩ bhī kaisē rachnā rachtā hū̃ .
101That unlimited Father says: Look how I too create creation.
93Inmē̃ pravēśh kar inkō mukh dvārā kahtā hū̃ - hē ātmā , tum mērī hō , maĩ tumhārā bāp hū̃ .
102I enter this one and tell him through his mouth: O soul, you belong to Me. 103I am your Father.
94Phir inkē dvārā tum bachchō̃ kō rachtā hū̃ .
104Then I create you children through him.
95Tum hō mukh vaṅśhāvalī .
105You are mouth-born creation.
96Agyān kāl mē̃ bhī kahtē haĩ nā jaisē haĩ , taisē haĩ , mērē haĩ .
106On the path of ignorance, it is said: However I am, whatever I am, I am Yours.
97Bāp bhī aisē kahtē haĩ .
107The Father also says this.
98Tum brahmā K|kē bachchē ban jātē hō .
108You become the children of Brahma.
99Tō abhī tum hō mukh vaṅśhāvalī phir tum kukh vaṅśhāvalī bhī banē̃gē .
109You are now mouth-born creations and you will then become physical creations.
100Bāp kahtē haĩ tum mērē hō phir tum daivī gharānē mē̃ jāyēṅgē .
110The Father says: You belong to Me and you will then go into the deity clan.
101Bāp yah īśhvarīy rachnā kaisē rachtē haĩ - yah kōī bhī samajh nahī̃ saktē .
111No one can understand how the Father creates this Godly creation.
102Bāp samjhātē haĩ yah ( brahmā ) bhī kahtē haĩ maĩ bhī mukh vaṅśhāvalī bantā hū̃ .
112The Father explains and this Brahma also says: I too become a mouth-born creation.
103Bāp kē sāth mā̃ jarūr chāhiē .
113Together with the Father, a mother is definitely needed.
104Tum kahtē hō ham prajāpitā brahmā K|kē mukh vaṅśhāvalī haĩ , śhivbābā nē hamkō apnā banāyā hai .
114You say that you are mouth-born creations of Prajapita Brahma and that Shiv Baba has made you belong to Him.
105Unkō śharīr tō chāhiē nā .
115He definitely needs a body, does He not?
106Śhivbābā kō tō śharīr nahī̃ hai .
116Shiv Baba doesn't have a body of His own.
107Śharīr kā loan lētē haĩ .
117He takes a body on loan.
108Phir kahtē haĩ tum mērē hō , iskō kahā jātā hai mukh vaṅśhāvalī .
118He then says: You belong to Me. 119This is called a mouth-born creation.
109Śhivbābā is mukh sē , is vannī ( strī ) dvārā kahtē haĩ ki tum mērē bachchē hō .
120Shiv Baba says through this mouth, through His wife: You are My children.
110Bāp hī samjhātē haĩ aur kōī śhāstrō̃ ādi mē̃ yah bātē̃ haĩ nahī̃ .
121Only the Father explains these things; these things are not mentioned in the scriptures etc.
111Tum abhī suntē hō phir prāyaḥlōp hō jāyēgā .
122You listen to these things now and they will then disappear.
112Is samay hai ghōr andhiyārā .
123At this time, there is extreme darkness.
113Bāp ākar rōśhnī kartē haĩ tab tō brahmā kī rāt , brahmā kā din gāyā huā hai .
124The Father comes and brings light and this is why the night of Brahma and the day of Brahma are remembered.
114Kuchh tō hai nā .
125At least, something exists!
115Gāyā huā hai jhūṭh tō jhūṭh , sach key|kī rattī nahī̃ . 116Parantu bāp kahtē haĩ - prāyaḥ kuchh na kuchh rahtā hai , pralay nahī̃ hō jātī .
126It is sung: When there is falsehood, there is nothing but falsehood and not a trace of truth. 127However, the Father says: One thing or another remains; there isn't annihilation.
117Thōṛē rahē̃gē phir jhāṛ vr̥iddhi kō pātā hai .
128A few will remain and the tree will then begin to grow.
118Manuṣhyō̃ nē phir mahāpralay dikhāī hai . 119Parantu mahāpralay kabhī hōtī nahī̃ .
129People have shown a great annihilation, but a great annihilation does not take place.
120Aisē nahī̃ hōtā jō sāgar mē̃ bachchā pīpal K|kē pattē par āyē , yah sab gapōṛē haĩ .
130It isn't that a child comes floating in the ocean on a pipal leaf. 131All of those things are lies.
121Bāp nē samjhāyā hai tum jab garbh mahal sē ātē hō tō vahā̃ ānand mē̃ rahtē hō .
132The Father has explained: When you come from the palace of a womb there, you remain in bliss.
122Vahā̃ duḥkh , pāp karma hōtā nahī̃ .
133There is no sorrow or sinful acts there.
123Vah hai hī puṇya ātmāō̃ key|kī duniyā , yah hai pāp key|kī duniyā .
134That is a world of charitable souls whereas this is a world of sinful souls.
124Yahā̃ sab kuchh tyāg kar tum sadā puṇya ātmā bantē hō .
135You renounce everything here and become charitable souls for all time.
125Tum itnā puṇya kartē hō jō ādhākalp tumkō kōī pāp ātmā nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
136You perform so much charity that, for half a cycle, no one would call you a sinful soul.
126Tum avināśhī puṇya ātmā ban jātē hō .
137You become imperishable, charitable souls.
127Yahā̃ phir ādhā-kalp pāp ātmā kahē̃gē .
138Then, for half a cycle you are called sinful souls.
128Ghaṛī-ghaṛī dān-puṇya kartē rahtē haĩ .
139You repeatedly perform charity and make donations.
129Bhārat kō complete dharmātmā kahā jātā hai . 130Bhārat mē̃ dān-puṇya kartē haĩ .
140Bharat is called completely righteous. 141It is in Bharat that they make donations and perform charity.
131Tum jāntē hō yah duniyā ham chhōṛnē vālē haĩ , phir ānā nahī̃ hai .
142You know that we are going to leave this world and will not come back here.
132Is duniyā key|kī sāmagrī tum transfer kartē hō naī duniyā kē liē .
143You are transferring the materials of this world to the new world.
133Manuṣhya īśhvar arpaṇam kartē haĩ arthāt transfer kartē haĩ dūsrē janm kē liē .
144People offer everything to God, that is, they transfer it to their next birth.
134Yahā̃ tum transfer kartē hō - 21 janmō̃ kē liē .
145Here, you transfer everything for 21 births.
135Tō bahut chāhiē nā .
146So, a lot is needed.
136Tumsē sārī kichaṛ-paṭṭī lēkar nayā dētē haĩ .
147He takes all your rubbish from you and gives you everything new.
137Purānā lēkar sōnē kā dētē haĩ .
148He takes all your old things from you and gives you golden things.
138Tum sachchāī sē bāp kō dētē hō , bāp bhī tumkō sab kuchh dētē haĩ .
149You give to the Father with honesty and then the Father also gives you everything.
139Tumhārā part jō chaltā āyā hai - yah drama mē̃ thā , sabnē gharbār chhōṛā .
150Your parts that have continued are fixed in the drama. 151Everyone renounced their homes.
140Nahī̃ tō gaūśhālā kaisē banē ?
152How else could the cowshed have been created?
141Manuṣhya tō nahī̃ jāntē , bhaṭṭhī kaisē bantī hai !
153People don't know how the furnace was created.
142Vah tō dikhātē haĩ - billī K|kē pūṅgrē ādi thē .
154They show that there were kittens in a furnace.
143Yah sab gyān tum bachchō̃ kō abhī hai .
155You children have all of this knowledge at this time.
