¹Essence: Sweet children, your future status depends on how you study. ²You have to study and teach others. ³Go into every street and give everyone the Father’s introduction.

²prashn:- tum bachchon ko kis ichchha se pare rahkar seva mein lage rehna hai?

⁴Question: Which desire should you children stay beyond while remaining engaged in doing service?

³uttar:- tum merciful bachche ho, tumhein kisi se paisa lene ki ichchha nahin rakhni hai।

⁵Answer: You children are merciful. ⁶You shouldn’t have any desire to ask anyone for money. ⁷Remain beyond this desire and remain engaged in the service of donating and making others similar to yourselves.

⁴is ichchha se pare rahkar daan karne ki seva mein, doosron ko aapasmaan banaane mein lage rehna hai।

⁸Let it remain in your intellects that if it is in their fortune they will definitely sow a seed.

⁵buddhi mein rahe - jiski takdeer mein hoga woh beej avashya boyenge।

⁹Those who are not able to serve with their words or deeds can co-operate with money.

⁶agar koi vaacha ya karmana seva nahin kar sakte hain to dhan se bhi sahayogi bante hain। ⁷gareeb bachche to chaaval mutthi dekar mahal le lete hain।

¹⁰It is the poor children who give a handful of rice and receive a palace in return.

¹⁰preetmaaon ke liye ek hi pukaar kaaphi hai।

¹³One call of the lovers is sufficient.

¹¹ab yeh kisne pukaara aur kisko?

¹⁴Who called out and to whom did they call?

¹²yeh to sirf tum bachche hi jaante ho kyonki tumne baap dvaara baap ko jaana hai।

¹⁵Only you children know this, because you have come to know the Father from the Father.

¹³father shows san, phir san shows father - aisa kaayda hai।

¹⁶The Father shows the son and the son shows the Father. ¹⁷This is the law.

¹⁴ab preetmaayen sab preetam ko pukaarti hain।

¹⁸vaastav mein preetam sabka ek hi hai।

¹⁹sarva patiton ko paavan banaane vaala ek hi hai।

²³There is only the One who is the Purifier of all.

²⁰niraakaar ko hi yaad karte hain parantu parampita paramatma ko phir yathaartha reeti jaante nahin।

²⁴It is the incorporeal One who is remembered, but they don’t know the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, accurately.

²¹niraakaar ka yathaartha arth kya hai, so jaante nahin।

²⁵What is the accurate meaning of “the incorporeal One”? ²⁶They don’t know this.

²²baap ne samjhaaya hai vaastav mein ek hi raam hai, he prabhu, he eeshvar, O god...... ek ko pukaarte hain।

²⁷The Father explains that, in fact, there is only one Rama. ²⁸When they call out, “O God! ²⁹O Prabhu! ³⁰O Ishwar!” they are calling out to the same One.

²³koi jismaani manushya ya devta ko nahin pukaarte।

³¹They are not calling out to a physical human being or deity.

²⁴buddhi niraakaar taraph chali jaati hai।

³²The intellects are drawn to the Incorporeal.

²⁵god father sabhi ka ek hi hai।

³³God, the Father of all, is the same.

²⁶samajhte bhi hain ham brothers hain। ²⁷parantu aatmaon ke roop mein hain।

³⁴They do understand that they are brothers, but that is only in the form of souls.

²⁸yoon to har ek apne-apne dharma ka hai।

³⁵They all belong to different religions.

²⁹apne dharma ke bhaai-behen bhi ladte rehte hain।

³⁶Brothers and sisters within the same religion continue to quarrel.

³⁰jab sabhi duhkhi hote hain to baap kehte hain mujhe yaad karo kyonki sarva ka patit-paavan main hi hoon।

³⁷When everyone becomes unhappy, the Father says: Remember Me, because I am the Purifier of all.

³¹preetam to sab preetmaaon ka ek hi hai।

³⁸There is only the one Beloved for all the lovers.

³²sajni saajan ko yaad karti hai।

³⁹The brides remember their Bridegroom.

³⁴aatma yaad kar rahi hai jiya bulaaye।

⁴¹It is souls that remember and call out from their hearts.

³⁵bulaane vaali to aatma hai na, shareer to nahin।

⁴²It is the souls, not bodies, that call out.

³⁶jeev aatma, jeev aatma se baat karti hai।

⁴³A human soul speaks to another human soul.

³⁷duniya mein manushya to deh-abhimaani hone kaaran apne ko shareer samajhte hain।

⁴⁴Because human beings of the world are body conscious, they consider themselves to be bodies.

³⁸tum bachchon ko yeh pakka-pakka samajhna hai ki jeev ki aatma bulaati hai।

⁴⁵You children have to understand very firmly that it is the living soul that calls out.

³⁹aatma pyaar karti hai।

⁴⁶It is the soul that loves.

⁴⁰shareer, shareer se pyaar nahin karta।

⁴⁷The body does not love the body. ⁴⁸Each soul adopts a body.

⁴¹aatma shareer dhaaran karti hai।

⁴⁹The love of this time is impure.

⁴²is samay ka pyaar bhi ashuddha hai।

⁴³devi-devtaaon ka pyaar to bahut shuddh hoga na। ⁴⁴manushya samajhte hain pyaar vikaar ka hi hota hai।

⁵¹People think that love is only for vice, yet there is love in the golden age and there is no vice there.

⁴⁵parantu satayug mein pyaar hai lekin vahaan koi bhi vikaar nahin hota hai।

⁵²The Father saves you children from that vice for 21 births.

⁴⁶baap tum bachchon ko 21 janmon ke liye in vikaaron se bachaate hain।

⁵³Whomever you explain these things to will be very happy to hear them.

⁴⁷tum yeh baaten kisko baith samjhaao to sunkar bada khush honge।

⁵⁴Some of you say: Baba, service isn’t taking place.

⁴⁸tum kehte ho - baba, service nahin hoti hai parantu service ke tareeke to bahut bataate hain।

⁵⁵However, you have been shown many ways to do service. ⁵⁶Dashera is now coming.

⁴⁹abhi dashahra aata hai, deviyon ki pooja bhi sab jagah hoti hai। ⁵⁰to vahaan bhi jaakar samjhaana chaahiye।

⁵⁷The goddesses are worshipped in many different places, and so you should go and explain to the people there.

⁵¹baap ki pahchaan deni chaahiye। ⁵²woh hai parampita paramatma niraakaar baap।

⁵⁸You have to give the Father’s introduction: He is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the incorporeal Father.

⁵³ham aatmaayen bhi mool vatan mein rehti hain।

⁵⁹We souls reside in the supreme region.

⁵⁴vatan ghar ko bhi kaha jaata hai।

⁶⁰That region is also called the home.

⁵⁵ham aatmaon ka baap bhi vahaan paramdham mein rehte hain।

⁶¹The Father of us souls also resides in the supreme region.

⁵⁶baap bachchon ko bhej dete hain।

⁶²The Father sends you children down here.

⁵⁷yeh bhi drama anusaar automatically chalta rehta hai। ⁵⁸unko bhi apne samay par aana padta hai।

⁶³This happens automatically according to the drama and He also has to come at His own time.

⁵⁹ek baap hai baaki sab hain aatmaayen।

⁶⁴There is only the one Father and all the rest are souls.

⁶⁰yeh hai manushya srishti।

⁶⁵This is the human world.

⁶¹unmein daivi gun vaale manushya lakshmi-naaraayan the satayug mein।

⁶⁶Lakshmi and Narayan were human beings with divine qualities and they existed in the golden age.

⁶²baaki koi 8-10 bhuja vaale manushya nahin hote।

⁶⁷However, there are no human beings with eight to ten arms.

⁶³yeh kahaan se aaye?

⁶⁸Where did they come from?

⁶⁴pooja jahaan hoti hai vahaan tumko innocent ho jaakar poochhna chaahiye - yeh kya hai?

⁶⁹Wherever there is worship taking place, you should go there and innocently ask them: What is this?

⁶⁵roodra yagya bhi bahut hote hain।

⁷⁰Many sacrificial fires of Rudra are created.

⁶⁶saahookaar log yagya aadi bahut karaate rehte hain।

⁷¹Wealthy people have many sacrificial fires created.

⁶⁷tum kahaan bhi raman kar sakte ho, tum ramtaayogi ho।

⁷²You can go anywhere and think about these things.

⁶⁸jo jis-jis desh mein rahne vaale hain vahaan service kar sakte hain।

⁷³You are wandering yogis. ⁷⁴You can do service in whichever country you live.

⁶⁹yeh kaun hain jo inki pooja hoti hai?

⁷⁵Ask them: Who is that person you are worshipping?

⁷⁰kya karke gaye hain?

⁷⁶What did he do here?

⁷¹kiski santaan hain?

⁷⁷Whose child is that person?

⁷²aise-aise baith poochhna chaahiye।

⁷⁸You can ask such questions.

⁷³phir samjhaana chaahiye kyonki tumhein sabka kalyaan karna hai, merciful banna chaahiye।

⁷⁹Then, explain to them because you have to bring benefit to all. ⁸⁰You have to be merciful.

⁷⁴muphta paise barbaad karte rehte hain।

⁸¹They waste money unnecessarily.

⁷⁵bachchon ke liye service to bahut hai।

⁸²There is a great deal of service that you children can do.

⁷⁶abhi dashahra aata hai, us par samjhaana chaahiye ki raavan ko kyon jalaate hain?

⁸³Now that Dashera is coming, you can explain why people burn an effigy of Ravan.

⁷⁷raavan ka raajya kab se kab tak chala?

⁸⁴Ask them when the kingdom of Ravan began and when it ended.

⁷⁸phir vishnu ka raajya kitna samay chala?

⁸⁵Ask them: For how long did the kingdom of Vishnu last?

⁷⁹yeh hai brahma ka din, yeh hai brahma ki raat।

⁸⁶That is the day of Brahma and the other is the night of Brahma.

⁸⁰government ko jaakar samjhaana chaahiye। ⁸¹barobar, ab raavan raajya hai na।

⁸²woh hain vishnu sampradaay athva daivi sampradaay, yeh hain aasuri sampradaay।

⁸⁸That is the community of Vishnu, a divine community, whereas this is a devilish community.

⁸³badon-badon ko jaakar samjhaana chaahiye।

⁸⁹You should go and explain these things to important people.

⁸⁴chitra le jaana chaahiye।

⁹⁰You should take the pictures with you.

⁸⁵koshish karni chaahiye - aisa baan maaren jo naam baala ho jaae।

⁹¹Try and shoot such arrows that Baba’s name is glorified.

⁸⁶banaaras mein bahut bade-bade title milte hain sarasvati aadi ke।

⁹²Big titles are given to people in Benares such as Saraswati etc.

⁸⁷ab sarasvati to hai jagat amba।

⁹³However, Saraswati is Jagadamba, the World Mother.

⁸⁸bhaaratvaasi sab jagat amba ko maanenge, jagat ko rachne vaali। ⁸⁹to zaroor pita bhi hoga।

⁹⁴All the people of Bharat believe that Jagadamba is the mother who creates the world, and so there must definitely be a father as well.

⁹⁰jagat pita brahma aur jagat amba sarasvati kehte hain na।

⁹⁵Brahma and Saraswati are called Jagadpita and Jagadamba.

⁹¹sarasvati bhi brahma ki bachchi hai, brahma ki mukh vanshaavli hai।

⁹⁶Saraswati is the daughter of Brahma, a mouth-born child of Brahma. ⁹⁷Who is it that creates Brahma?

⁹²brahma ko phir rachne vaala kaun?

⁹⁸The expression “Salutations to God Shiva” has been remembered.

⁹³gaaya jaata hai shiv parmaatmaae namah, woh ho gaye devtaae namah to devtaaon ka rachayita woh shiv paramatma ho gaya, unse varsa mila hoga।

⁹⁹The other expression is “Salutations to the deities”, and so the Creator of the deities is Shiva, the Supreme Soul, from whom they received their inheritance.

⁹⁴to tum bachchon ko samjhaane nikalna pade na।

¹⁰⁰Therefore, you children should go outside to explain these things.

⁹⁵jo-jo achhe samajhdaar hain unhein service karni chaahiye।

¹⁰¹Those who are sensible will serve others.

⁹⁶baap to gali-gali mein nahin jaayenge। ⁹⁷yeh bachchon ka kaam hai।

¹⁰²The Father will not go into every street; it is the children’s task to do this.

⁹⁸service nahin karte hain to samjhenge serviceable nahin hain। ⁹⁹to pad bhi aisa hi paayenge।

¹⁰³If you don’t do service, it is understood that you are not serviceable and so your status will be accordingly.

¹⁰⁰bhal bachche to bane hain parantu padhaai par saara madaar hai, jo jaasti padhenge woh oonch pad paayenge।

¹⁰⁴You might have become Baba’s children, but everything depends on how you study. ¹⁰⁵Those who study more will claim a higher status.

¹⁰¹padhe hue ke aage anapdhe bhari dhoyenge।

¹⁰⁶Uneducated ones will have to bow down in front of the educated ones.

¹⁰²purushaartha oonch pad paane ka karna chaahiye।

¹⁰⁷You have to make effort to claim a high status.

¹⁰³yeh shivbaaba sammukh samjha rahe hain।

¹⁰⁸Shiv Baba is personally explaining this.

¹⁰⁴baahar vaale bachche bhi samjhenge - shivbaaba madhuban mein murli chalaate honge।

¹⁰⁹The children who live outside also understand that Shiv Baba must be conducting the murli in Madhuban.

¹⁰⁵murli nahin aati hai to bachche hairaan ho jaate hain, sochte hain - shivbaaba ki murli kyon nahin aai?

¹¹⁰Some children become distressed if they don’t receive a murli. ¹¹¹They ask, “Why hasn’t Shiv Baba’s murli come?”

¹⁰⁶kyonki shivbaaba ki murli se hi hamaara janma heere jaisa banna hai।

¹¹²This is because it is through Shiv Baba’s murli that our lives become like a diamond.

¹⁰⁷murli to roz sunna chaahiye।

¹¹³You should listen to a murli every day.

¹⁰⁸7 roj ki murli bhi agar kiske paas jaaye, woh baith padhe to kitni khushi mil jaae।

¹¹⁴If just seven days’ murlis go to someone and he studies them, he can experience so much happiness!

¹⁰⁹padhna zaroor chaahiye।

¹¹⁵You definitely have to study.

¹¹⁰koi bhi loola, langada, goonga bhi yeh padh sakte hain।

¹¹⁶Anyone who is dumb or crippled can also study.

¹¹¹kaise bhi bukhaar mein, beemaari mein bhi murli zaroor padhni chaahiye।

¹¹⁷No matter how high your fever might be, or how ill you are, you must definitely study each murli.

¹¹²tum sirf bolo - tumko do baap hain, to jise varsa lena hoga woh usi samay in do aksharon se bhi samajh jaayenge।

¹¹⁸Simply tell them that they have two fathers, and then those who want to claim their inheritance will understand everything from those two words.

¹¹³yeh knowledge hi aisi sahaj hai।

¹¹⁹This knowledge is so easy!

¹¹⁴baap ko yaad karne se saara chakra buddhi mein aa jaata hai।

¹²⁰By you remembering the Father, the whole cycle enters your intellect.

¹¹⁵jitna buddhi mein chakra phiraayenge to chakravarti banenge।

¹²¹By turning the cycle around in your intellects you will become rulers of the globe.

¹¹⁶baap kehte hain jo mere bhakta hain athva lakshmi-naaraayan aadi ko maanne vaale hain unhon ko samjhaao - tum hi devi-devta the, 84 ka chakra lagaaya ab phir devta bano।

¹²²The Father says: You should explain to those who are My devotees and those who believe in Lakshmi and Narayan: You were deities. ¹²³You have been around the cycle of 84 births. ¹²⁴You now have to become those deities again.

¹¹⁷yeh baba bhi lakshmi-naaraayan ka bhakta tha na।

¹²⁵This Baba too was a devotee of Lakshmi and Narayan.

¹¹⁸pujaari se phir poojya bante hain।

¹²⁶From being worshippers, you become worthy of worship.

¹¹⁹lakshmi-naaraayan poojya hain na।

¹²⁷Lakshmi and Narayan were worthy of worship.

¹²⁰tum lakshmi-naaraayan ke mandir mein jaayenge, kahenge - kal inki pooja karte the, aaj ham woh ban rahe hain।

¹²⁸When you go to a Lakshmi and Narayan Temple, you should say: Yesterday, we used to worship them and today we are becoming like them.

¹²¹samjhaana to bada sahaj hai।

¹²⁹It is very easy to explain.

¹²²tum bachchon ko merciful banna hai।

¹³⁰You children have to become merciful.

¹²³jisko service ka shauk hoga woh sikhlaane vaali braahmani ka saath pakdenge। ¹²⁴hamko baith samjhaao।

¹³¹Those who have an interest in doing service will stay in the company of the teacher who teaches them and will ask her to explain everything to them.

¹²⁵tum khaate ho shivbaaba ke bhandaare se to shivbaaba ki service karni pade na।

¹³²You are eating from Shiv Baba’s treasure-store and so you have to do Shiv Baba’s service.

¹²⁶sabhi shivbaaba ki bhandaari mein daalte hain।

¹³³Everyone gives to Shiv Baba’s treasure-store.

¹²⁷samajhte hain ham shivbaaba ki bhandaari se khaate hain। ¹²⁸to mansa-vaacha-karmana service karni chaahiye।

¹³⁴You understand that you are eating from Shiv Baba’s kitchen, and so you should serve through your thoughts, words and deeds.

¹²⁹yahaan tumko kitna maja aata hai!

¹³⁵You experience so much pleasure here.

¹³⁰woh maja ghar mein aa na sake।

¹³⁶You do not experience such pleasure at home.

¹³¹mansa service bhi karni hai, yaad karna hai।

¹³⁷You also have to serve through your mind and have remembrance.

¹³²pavitra banna hai। ¹³³shankh dhvani bhi karni hai।

¹³⁸You also have to become pure and you also have to blow the conch shell.

¹³⁴karmana koi bhi yagya service karni hai।

¹³⁹You must also serve the yagya physically.

¹³⁵shuru mein mama-baba bhi bartan maanjate the।

¹⁴⁰In the beginning, Mama and Baba also used to wash the dishes.

¹³⁶gobar ke chhene (kande) banaate the।

¹⁴¹They also made fuel bricks from cow dung.

¹³⁷deh-abhimaan todne ke liye sab karte the।

¹⁴⁴If you eat from the yagya, you must also serve it.

¹⁴⁰baap ko yaad karne se vikarma vinaash honge।

¹⁴⁵By remembering the Father, your sins will be absolved.

¹⁴¹sarvavyaapi kahne se vikarma vinaash kaise honge?

¹⁴⁶How can sins be absolved by calling Him omnipresent?

¹⁴²sarvavyaapi kahne se to buddhi ka yog lag nahin sakta।

¹⁴⁷Your intellect can have no yoga if you believe in omnipresence.

¹⁴³to yeh seva sabki karni hai।

¹⁴⁸Therefore, you have to serve everyone.

¹⁴⁴daan dena hai।

¹⁴⁹You have to make donations.

¹⁴⁵woh seva nahin to sthool seva karo।

¹⁵⁰If you cannot do that service, then do physical service.

¹⁴⁶woh bhi nahin kar sakte ho to dhan ki seva karo। ¹⁴⁷to woh bhi service ho jaayegi।

¹⁵¹If you are not able to do that, then serve with your money and that too is considered to be service.

¹⁴⁸beej boya jaata hai to unka phal nikalta hai।

¹⁵²When a seed is sown, the fruit definitely emerges.

¹⁴⁹yahaan chaaval chapti dene se mahal mil jaate hain।

¹⁵³Here, by giving a handful of rice, you receive a palace in return.

¹⁵⁰kisko bhi kehna nahin hai ki beej boo।

¹⁵⁴You must not tell anyone to sow a seed.

¹⁵¹takdeer mein nahin hoga to kabhi buddhi mein aayega hi nahin।

¹⁵⁵If it is not in their fortune, it just doesn’t enter their intellects.

¹⁵²saahookaar log hote hain to 5 laakh ka bhi insurance karte hain। ¹⁵³gareeb hoga to 500 ka insurance karega।

¹⁵⁶Wealthy people insure themselves for five hundred thousand rupees, whereas someone poor would take out insurance for 500 rupees.

¹⁵⁴yahaan phir gareeb sabse jaasti insure karte hain।

¹⁵⁷Here, it is the poor who insure themselves the most.

¹⁵⁵gareeb ke chaaval mutthi bhi saahookaar ke dhan se equal ho jaate hain।

¹⁵⁸A handful of rice of the poor is equal to the wealth of the wealthy. ¹⁵⁹Look what Mama insured.

¹⁵⁶mama ne dekho kya insure kiya?

¹⁶⁰See how much service she did with her mind and body.

¹⁵⁷tan-man se dekho kitni seva ki। ¹⁵⁸bahut dhan dene vaalon ko bhi itna pad nahin mil sakta, jitna unko milta hai।

¹⁶¹Those who serve by giving a lot of money will not receive a status like hers. ¹⁶²You are the ones who are becoming like Narayan from ordinary humans.

¹⁵⁹tum ho nar se naaraayan banne vaale। ¹⁶⁰yeh knowledge hai hi svaraajya yog।

¹⁶³This knowledge enables you to have yoga for self-sovereignty.

¹⁶¹har ek ki buddhi samajh sakti hai - ham mama-baba ko follow karte hain?

¹⁶⁴The intellect of each one of you can understand whether or not you are following Mama and Baba.

¹⁶²purushaartha karna chaahiye na।

¹⁶⁵You have to make effort.

¹⁶³yeh gyaan saagar to galiyon mein nahin jaayega। ¹⁶⁴na baba public mein bhaashan kar sakte hain।

¹⁶⁶That Ocean of Knowledge will not go into the different streets, nor can Baba give a public lecture.

¹⁶⁵baap kehte hain main to bachchon ke saamne baith bhaashan karoonga।

¹⁶⁷The Father says: I sit in front of you children and speak.

¹⁶⁶main sabka baap hoon।

¹⁶⁸I am everyone’s Father.

¹⁶⁷tum maataayen, kumaariyaan ho। ¹⁶⁸tumko jaakar bhaashan karna hai।

¹⁶⁹It is you mothers and kumaris who have to go and give lectures.

¹⁶⁹phir bhi tum bi.ke. ho।

¹⁷⁰You are called Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.

¹⁷⁰abhi jagat amba par kitna bada mela lagta hai। ¹⁷¹kuchh to service karke gai hai na।

¹⁷¹They hold such huge melas for Jagadamba, so she must have done some service before departing.

¹⁷²tum batla sakte ho vahaan bahut service kar sakte ho।

¹⁷²You can explain this to them. ¹⁷³You can do a great deal of service there.

¹⁷³serviceable bachche aapehi service karte rahenge।

¹⁷⁴Serviceable children will automatically continue to serve by themselves.

¹⁷⁴jo aape hi kare so devta...... subah ko jaao, raat ko laut aao।

¹⁷⁵Those who act without being asked are called deities. ¹⁷⁶Go early in the morning and return at night.

¹⁷⁵service karne ki himmat chaahiye।

¹⁷⁷You need courage to do service.
