1 « mīṭhē bachchē - dēh sahit sab kuchh bhūl ēk bāp kō yād karō tab kahē̃gē mātēlē bachchē , is purānī duniyā sē ab tumhārī buddhi haṭ jānī chāhiē ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, forget everything, including your bodies and remember the one Father, for only then will you be called real children. 2Your intellects should now be removed from this old world.
2Praśhna : bāp kā gyān kin bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ sahaj hī baiṭh jātā hai ? 3Uttar : jō garīb bachchē haĩ , jinkā mōh naṣhṭ hai aur buddhi viśhāl hai unkī buddhi mē̃ sārā gyān sahaj baiṭh jātā hai .
3Question: In which children's intellects will the knowledge easily sit? 4Answer: All the knowledge easily sits in the intellects of poor children who have destroyed their attachment and whose intellects are broad and unlimited.
4Bākī jinkī buddhi mē̃ rahtā - hamārā dhan , hamārā pati … vah gyān kō dhāraṇ kar ūñch pad nahī̃ pā saktē .
5Those who think, "This is my wealth" or "This is my husband", cannot imbibe knowledge and they cannot claim a high status.
5Bāp kā bannē kē bād bhī laukik sambandhō̃ kō yād karnā mānā kachchī sagāī hai , unhē̃ sautēlā kahā jātā hai .
6Those who remember lokik relationships, even after belonging to the Father, means that their engagement is not firm.
6Gīt : marnā tērī galī mē̃ …
7They are called stepchildren. 8Song: To live in Your lane and to die in Your lane.
7Ōm śhānti .
9Om shanti.
8Mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchō̃ nē gīt kā arth|earth tō āpēhī samjhā hōgā .
10You sweetest children would have understood the meaning of the song by yourselves.
9Ab jītē jī ākar K|kē bāp kā bannā hai aur purānī duniyā jiskō raurav nark kahā jātā hai , unkō bhūlnā bhī hai aur chhōṛnā bhī hai hī .
11You now have to belong to the Father while alive and you also have to forget and leave the old world which is called the extreme depths of hell.
10Raurav nark kō bhūl phir svarg kō yād karnā hai .
12You have to forget the extreme depths of hell and remember heaven.
11Apnē kō ātmā samajh apnē bāp kō yād karnā hai .
13Consider yourselves to be souls and remember your Father.
12Purānī duniyā buddhi sē haṭ jānī chāhiē .
14The old world has to be removed from your intellects.
13Unkē liē puruṣhārth chāhiē .
15Effort is needed for this.
14Yah hai janma-janmāntar kā karmbandhan .
16It is a bondage of karma of birth after birth.
15Ēk janm kā nahī̃ , janma-janmāntar kā karmbandhan hai .
17It is not a karmic bondage of just one birth, but of birth after birth.
16Kitnē pāp , kis-kis kē sāth kiyē haĩ , vah sab janma lē bhōgnē paṛtē haĩ .
18So many sins have been committed with so many people: the consequences of all of them have to be experienced by taking birth.
17Tō is karmbandhan key|kī duniyā kō bhūl jānā hai .
19Therefore, this world of karmic bondage has to be forgotten.
18Yah chhī-chhī duniyā hai , patit śharīr hai nā , issē mōh miṭānā hai .
20This is a dirty world and an impure body. 21Remove your attachment from it.
19Garībō̃ kā mōh sahaj miṭ jātā hai , sāhūkārō̃ kā muśhkil miṭtā hai .
22The poor are easily able to remove their attachment, but the wealthy have difficulty in doing this.
20Vah samajhtē haĩ ham svarg mē̃ sukhī baiṭhē haĩ , garīb duḥkhī haĩ .
23They think that they are sitting happily in heaven and that the poor are unhappy.
21Yū̃ tō sārā bhārat garīb hai phir unmē̃ bhī jō garīb haĩ vah jhaṭ uṭhātē haĩ .
24In fact, the whole of Bharat is poor, but, in that too, those who are poor take this knowledge quickly.
22Unhō̃ kē liē hī bāp ātē hai .
25The Father comes here just for them.
23Garībō̃ kō jāstī varsā miltā hai .
26The poor receive a bigger inheritance.
24Sab centres mē̃ dēkhō sāhūkār kōī muśhkil ṭhahar saktē haĩ .
27If you look at all the centres, wealthy ones are hardly able to stay.
25Striyā̃ bhī garīb gharō̃ key|kī hī ātī haĩ .
28The women that come, too, are from poor homes.
26Dhanvān kō tō pati sē sukh miltā hai , isliē unsē buddhiyōg ṭūṭ nahī̃ saktā .
29Wealthy ones receive happiness from their husbands and this is why their intellects’ yoga is not removed from them.
27Garīb hī aksar karkē gyān lētē haĩ .
30It is generally the poor who take knowledge.
28Bāp hai hī garīb nivāz . 29Jis bāp kō sab yād kartē haĩ .
31The Father, whom everyone remembers, is the Lord of the Poor.
30Parantu drama anusār bhakta bhagvān kō jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .
32However, according to the drama, devotees don't know God. 33God is the Protector of the Devotees.
31Bhagvān tō hai hī bhaktō̃ kā rakṣhak . 32Bhakti kā phal dēnē vālā , sadgati dātā ēk bāp hai .
34The one Father, the Bestower of Salvation, is the One who gives you the fruit of your devotion.
33Tum bachchē bāp dvārā abhī gyān key|kī bātē̃ sun rahē hō .
35You children are now listening to things of knowledge from the Father.
34Yah gyān unhī̃ bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ baiṭhtā hai jinkī buddhi viśhāl hai , mōh naṣhṭ hai .
36This knowledge sits in the intellects of the children who have broad and unlimited intellects and who have destroyed their attachment.
35Jinkī buddhi mē̃ rahtā hai ki hamārā pati , hamārā dhan ādi hai , vah ūñch pad pā nahī̃ saktē .
37Those whose intellects think, "This is my husband" or "This is my wealth", cannot claim a high status.
36Pad vah pātē haĩ jō rachtā aur rachnā kā parichay dētē haĩ .
38Those who give the introduction of the Creator and creation claim a status.
37Bāp kō pahchānē bigar varsā kaisē milē ?
39How can you receive the inheritance without knowing the Father?
38Sājan kō sirph sājan kahnē sē phāydā nahī̃ hō saktā hai .
40There cannot be any benefit by simply calling the Bridegroom, the Bridegroom.
39Jānē pahchānē bigar sājan sē sagāī kaisē hō saktī hai ?
41How can you become engaged to the Bridegroom without knowing Him?
40Kanyā key|kī sagāī hōtī hai tō unkō chitra ādi dikhātē haĩ . 41Phalānē kā bachchā hai , yah occupation hai .
42When a kumari is to become engaged, they show her his picture: He is the son of so-and-so and this is his occupation.
42Āgē dikhlātē nahī̃ thē , aisē hī śhādī karā dētē thē .
43Previously, they didn't even show them pictures, but would just get them engaged.
43Tō bhī unkā occupation tō batātē haĩ nā .
44Nonetheless, they would still tell her what his occupation was.
44Yahā̃ kōī-kōī bachchē apnē bāp kō athavā sājan kō jāntē hī nahī̃ haĩ tō sagāī kaisē hō ?
45Here, some children don't know their Father or their Bridegroom, so how can they become engaged?
45Number-vār haĩ .
46It is numberwise.
46Kaīyō̃ key|kī kachchī sagāī hai .
47Some people's engagement is not fixed.
47Pārlaukik sājan kō yād nahī̃ kartē , laukik sājan kō laukik sambandhiyō̃ ādi kō yād kartē rahtē tō gōyā kachchī sagāī hai .
48They don't remember the parlokik Bridegroom. 49They continue to remember their lokik bridegrooms and lokik relationships and so that means the engagement is not firm.
48Unkō sautēlē bachchē kahā jātā hai .
50They are called stepchildren.
49Pakkē kō mātēlē bachchē kahā jātā hai .
51Firm ones are called real children.
50Mātēlē bachchē bahut thōṛē haĩ .
52There are very few real children.
51Bhaṭṭhī mē̃ itnē paṛē unmē̃ sē kitnē kachchē nikal paṛē .
53So many came to the bhatthi, but so many of them were weak.
52Apnē sājan kō pahchāntē hī nahī̃ .
54They did not even recognise their Bridegroom.
53Jaisē pārā hathēlī par ṭhahartā hī nahī̃ hai nā , vaisē hī yād bhī itnī muśhkil hai .
55Just as mercury cannot stay on the palm of your hand, so, remembrance too is just as difficult.
54Ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jātē haĩ .
56You repeatedly forget Baba.
5525-30 varṣh vālē bhī pūrā yād nahī̃ kar saktē haĩ .
57Even those who have been around for 25 to 30 years are unable to remember Him fully.
56Tum jāntē hō pārlaukik sājan svarg K|kē 21 janma liē mahārānī-mahārājā banānē vālā hai .
58You know that the parlokik Bridegroom is going to make you into emperors and empresses in heaven for 21 births.
57Sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō jānnē vālā hai .
59He is the One who knows the beginning, the middle and the end of the world.
58Sajaniyō̃ kō itnā samjhātē haĩ tō bhī buddhi mē̃ baiṭhtā nahī̃ hai .
60He explains so much to the brides and yet it still doesn't sit in their intellects!
59Buddhi purānī duniyā K|kē bandhanō̃ mē̃ bhaṭaktī rahtī hai .
61Their intellects continue to wander in the bondages of the old world.
60Samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ ki maĩ bandhan mē̃ hū̃ .
62They don't understand that they are in bondage.
61Sambandh tō chāhiē ēk kā .
63There has to be a relationship with the One.
62Bākī sab haĩ bandhan .
64All the rest are bondage.
63Bachchō̃ kō samjhāyā jātā hai - ēk sē sambandh rakhō , vah tumkō sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi-madhy-ant key|kī śhikṣhā dētē haĩ .
65It has been explained to you children: Have all your relationships with the One. 66He is the One who gives you the teachings of the beginning, the middle and the end of the world.
64Tum jāntē hō - ādhākalp hai gyān kāṇḍ , ādhākalp hai bhakti kāṇḍ .
67You know that there are the activities of this knowledge for half a cycle and that there are the activities of devotion for half a cycle.
65Gyān kāṇḍ mē̃ tō 21 janmō̃ kā varsā miltā hai .
68You receive the inheritance for 21 births through the activities of this knowledge.
66Vahā̃ hai satōpradhān phir satōpradhān sē nīchē satō mē̃ phir satō sē girkar rajō mē̃ ānā hai .
69There, you are satopradhan. 70Then, from satopradhan, you come down to the stage of sato and then you have to fall down to the rajo stage.
67Jab satō pūrā hōtā tō gyān kāṇḍ pūrā hō jātā hai .
71When the sato stage comes to an end, the activities of knowledge end.
68Dvāpar sē bhakti śhurū hōtī hai .
72Devotion begins with the copper age.
69Vah bhī pahlē satōpradhān bhakti hōtī hai .
73That devotion is at first satopradhan.
70Phir bhakti bhī satō-rajō-tamō mē̃ ātī hai .
74Then devotion also goes through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.
71Vyabhichārī hōnē sē bhakti phir girtī jātī hai .
75Because devotion then becomes adulterated, it continues to become degraded.
72Ab yah jānnā aur kiskō samjhānā tō bahut sahaj hai .
76It is very easy to know this and to explain it to anyone.
73Tum bachchō̃ kō raurav nark sē sambandh tōṛ ēk sē rakhnā chāhiē .
77You children have to break off all your relationships with the extreme depths of hell and have all relationships with the One.
74Ēk bāp sē sambandh rakhnē key|kī practice karō .
78Practise having all relationships with the one Father.
75Bāp kō yād karnē sē hī vikarma vināśh hōṅgē .
79Only by remembering the Father will your sins will be absolved.
76Garīb achchhī mēhnat kartē haĩ .
80The poor make very good effort.
77Tō balihārī garībō̃ kī hai .
81So, it is the poor who have greatness.
78Bāp bhī garībō̃ par balihār jātē haĩ .
82The Father too surrenders Himself to the poor.
79Śhuruāt mē̃ kitnē gōp thē , kitnī mātāyē̃ thī !
83At the beginning, there were so many gopes (brothers) and mothers.
80Kitnē ḵẖatm hō gayē , bākī thōṛē rahē haĩ .
84So many have now finished and only a few remain.
81Mātāyē̃ bhī thōṛī rahī .
85Only a few mothers remain.
82Hā̃ , kōī kōī sāhūkār ghar key|kī bhī rah gaī .
86Yes, some of the women from wealthy homes are also still here.
83Jaisē queen mother , dēvī ādi .
87There was Queen Mother and Devi etc.
84Ab tumhē̃ mūl bāt samjhānī hai ki jis bhagvān kō sab yād kartē haĩ , uskā parichay kyā hai ?
88You now have to explain the main thing: What is the introduction of God whom everyone remembers?
85Patit-pāvan bāp jō rājyōg sikhlākar nar sē nārāyaṇ banātē haĩ , unkō nahī̃ jānē̃gē tō tum pāp kartē rahē̃gē , bāp kō gālī dētē rahē̃gē .
89If you don't know the Purifier Father who teaches you Raj Yoga and changes you from an ordinary human into Narayan, you will continue to commit sin and will continue to insult the Father.
86Sammēlan tō bahut hōtē rahtē haĩ .
90Many conferences take place.
87Vahā̃ par samjhānē vālē baṛē tīkhē chāhiē .
91Very clever people are needed to explain there.
88Samjhānā chāhiē tum vēdō̃ key|kī mahimā samajhtē hō , parantu issē kōī fāydā tō hōtā nahī̃ .
92It should be explained: You understand the praise of the Vedas, but there is no benefit experienced from those.
89Fāydā tō ēk bāp sē hī hōtā hai , jiskō ham jāntē haĩ , tum nahī̃ jāntē hō .
93Benefit is only received from the one Father whom we know, but you don't.
90Āō tō ham āpkō samjhāyē̃ .
94Come and we will explain to you.
91Bāp kō pahchānē binā varsā kaisē milēgā ?
95How can you receive the inheritance without knowing the Father?
92Bāp kā varsā hai mukti-jīvanmukti , gati-sadgati .
96The Father's inheritance is liberation and liberation-in-life, liberation and salvation.
93Yah akṣhar sunātē hī bāp haĩ .
97It is only the Father who tells you about these things.
94Tum bachchō̃ kō yād rakhnā chāhiē . 95Aur kōī chīz sē fāydā nahī̃ .
98You children should remember that there is no benefit in anything else.
96Bāp kō aur rachnā K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō jānnā hai .
99You have to know the Father and the beginning, the middle and the end of creation.
97Ismē̃ bhī ādhākalp hai bhakti kāṇḍ , ādhā-kalp hai sadgati , gyān kāṇḍ .
100In this too, for half a cycle there are the activities of devotion and for half the cycle there is salvation, the activity of this knowledge.
98Bhal sammēlan kartē haĩ , parantu khud hī mūnjhē huē haĩ . 99Samajhtē kuchh bhī nahī̃ .
101Although they hold conferences, they themselves are confused; they don't understand anything at all.
100Tumhē̃ sabkō bāp kā parichay dēnā hai .
102You have to give everyone the Father's introduction.
101Jab bahutō̃ kō parichay mil jāyēgā tab kahē̃gē kamāl hai . 102Yah tō sārē sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kā rāz chitrō̃ sahit batlātē haĩ .
103When many have received the introduction, it will be said: It is a wonder, you tell us the secrets of the beginning, the middle and the end of the world together with pictures.
103Mātāō̃ kō baṛā naśhā rahnā chāhiē .
104You mothers should have a lot of intoxication.
104Puruṣh madad karnē liē taiyār haĩ , direction bāp dētē haĩ . 105Karnā kanyāō̃-mātāō̃ kō hai .
105Men are ready to help. 106The Father gives directions, but it is the kumaris and mothers who have to do it.
106Ājkal kanyāō̃-mātāō̃ key|kī mahimā jāstī hai .
107Nowadays, there is greater praise for kumaris and mothers.
107Governor , prime minister bhī mātāyē̃ bantī haĩ .
108Women become Governors and Prime Ministers too.
108Ēk taraph haĩ vah mātāyē̃ , ēk taraph hō tum pāṇḍavō̃ key|kī mātāyē̃ .
109On the one side are those women and on the other side are you mothers, the mothers of the Pandavas.
109Unhō̃ key|kī uchhal jāstī hai kyōṅki unkā rājya hai .
110They have greater enthusiasm because it is their kingdom.
110Tumkō tō tīn pair pr̥ithvī K|kē bhī nahī̃ miltē haĩ .
111You don't even have three feet of land.
111Bāp tum bachchō̃ kō anēk rāz samjhātē rahtē haĩ .
112The Father explains many secrets to you children.
112Tum abhī svarg kā varsā pātē hō .
113You are now receiving the inheritance of heaven.
113Sājan tumkō śhrr̥iṅgārtē haĩ , mahārānī banā dētē haĩ .
114The Bridegroom is decorating you and making you into empresses.
114Aisē sājan sē buddhiyōg na rakhnā , yah tō baṛī bhārī bhūl hai .
115Not to connect your intellects in yoga to such a Bridegroom is a very big mistake.
115Bachchō̃ kō samjhātē tō bahut haĩ .
116He explains to you children a great deal.
116Tum sirph gyān aur bhakti kā contrast batāō .
117You simply have to tell them the contrast between this knowledge and devotion.
117Bhārat mē̃ hī gāyā huā hai - duḥkh mē̃ simraṇ sab karē̃ , sukh mē̃ karē na kōī .
118It is in Bharat that they sing: Everyone remembers God at the time of sorrow and no one remembers Him in happiness.
118Sukh mē̃ kyō̃ yād karē̃gē ?
119Why would anyone remember Him at the time of happiness?
119Abhī vah naī duniyā sthāpan hō rahī hai .
120That new world is now being established.
120Parantu sukh kā varsā bhī pūrā lēnā chāhiē .
121However, you should also claim your full inheritance of happiness.
121Māt-pitā jāntē haĩ har ēk kitnā lāyak hai .
122The Mother and Father know to what extent each one is worthy.
122Maut jab nazdīk āyēgī tō batāyēṅgē tumnē puruṣhārth pūrā nahī̃ kiyā hai , tab tumhārā aisā hall|hāl huā hai .
123When death comes close, you will be told: You haven't made full effort and this is why this has become your state.
123Vah bhī batāyēṅgē ki tum kis kisma key|kī prajā mē̃ jāyēṅgē , kis kisma K|kē naukar-chākar banē̃gē , sab batāyēṅgē .
124You will also be told which type of subjects, maids or servants you will become; you will be told everything.
124Achchhā !
125Achcha.
125Kaī bachchē samajhtē haĩ āj hamnē murlī bahut achchhī chalāī .
126Some children think: Today, I read the murli very well.
126Parantu nahī̃ , yah tō śhivbābā ākar madad kartē haĩ .
127However that was not so. 128That was Shiv Baba who came and helped you.
127Apnā ahaṅkār nahī̃ hōnā chāhiē .
129You mustn't have arrogance about yourself.
128Tumkō tō bāp sikhlātē haĩ jō tum sunātē hō .
130The Father teaches you and you then relate that to others.
129Bāp na hōtā tō tumhārī murlī kāhē key|kī .
131If it weren't for the Father, how could it have been your murli?
130Murlīdhar K|kē bachchō̃ kō murlīdhar bannā chāhiē , nahī̃ tō ūñch pad pā nahī̃ sakē̃gē .
132The children of the Murlidhar should become murlidhars, otherwise you won't be able to claim a high status.
131Bhal kuchh na kuchh fāydā hō jātā hai , kōī centre khōltē haĩ tō bahut āśhīrvād miltī hai .
133However there may be some benefit. 134When a centre is opened, many blessings are received.
132Itnā samay paṛhāī kī hai tō āpēhī service kar centre jamānā chāhiē .
135You have studied for so long and so you should open a centre by yourself and start doing service there.
133Khud sīkhtē haĩ tō kyā aurō̃ kō nahī̃ sikhlā saktē ?
136When you yourselves are studying, can you not teach others?
134Brahmākumārī key|kī māṅgnī kartē haĩ tō bābā samajh jātē haĩ , śhāyad khud mē̃ itnā gyān nahī̃ hai .
137People ask for Brahma Kumaris and so Baba understands that they don't have that much knowledge themselves.
135Bākī yahā̃ ākar kyā kartē haĩ .
138So, what do they come and do here?
136Bābā tō samjhātē haĩ - bādal āyē̃ , refresh hōkar jāyē̃ , varṣhā barsāyē̃ .
139Baba explains: The clouds should come, be refreshed and then go and shower.
137Nahī̃ tō pad kaisē pāyēṅgē ?
140How else would you claim a status?
138Mammā-bābā kahtē hō tō gaddī pakaṛkar dikhāō .
141You say "Mama and Baba" and so you should definitely claim a throne.
139Yah bhī kōī kō ahaṅkār nahī̃ ānā chāhiē ki hamnē diyā .
142None of you should have any arrogance of having given something to Baba.
140Tum kuchh bhī na dō , bābā tumkō kauṛī kē badlē hīrā dēnē sē bhī chhūṭ jāyēgā .
143You don’t give anything! 144Baba will then be liberated from giving you shells, let alone diamonds.
141Achchhā !
145Achcha.
142Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .
146To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.
143Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .
147The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
144Dhārṇā kē liē mukhya sār :
148Essence for dharna:
1451 ) ēk kē sāth sarv sambandh rakh buddhiyōg anēk bandhanō̃ sē nikāl lēnā hai .
149 1. Have all your relationships with the One and remove your intellect’s yoga from the innumerable bondages.
146Ēk kē sāth pakkī sagāī karnī hai .

155You have studied and so you should establish a centre. 156Blessing: May you be a special soul and save yourself from committing the sin of jealousy by keeping the Father in front of you. 157 Because of equality in Brahmin souls, jealousy arises and, because of jealousy, there is a clash of sanskars.

162Slogan: Make the Father your Companion and continue to watch the games of Maya as a detached observer.
164Tō apnā lakṣhya huā maĩ ātmā paramātmā key|kī santān hū̃ .
163*** Om Shanti *** 164Sweet, elevated versions of Mateshwari 165What is my real aim?
165Bākī kōī apnē kō ham sō dēvtā samajh us lakṣhya mē̃ sthit rahē̃gē tō phir jō paramātmā key|kī śhakti hai vō mil nahī̃ sakēgī .
166First of all, it is necessary to know what one’s real aim is. 167That too has to be imbibed by the intellect very well, for only then will you be able to stabilise yourself fully in that aim.
166Aur na phir tumhārē vikarma vināśh hōṅgē , ab yah tō apnē kō full gyān hai , maĩ ātmā paramātmā key|kī santān karmātīt hō bhaviṣhya mē̃ jākar jīvanmukt dēvī dēvtā pad pāyēṅgē , is lakṣhya mē̃ rahnē sē vah tākat mil jātī hai .
168My real aim is: I, a soul, am a child of that Supreme Soul. 169Originally, I was karmateet and then, by forgetting myself, I came into the bondage of karma. 170Now, by remembering that once again and staying connected in yoga to God, I am having the sins that I have committed absolved. 171So, my aim is: I, a soul, am a child of God.
167Ab yah jō manuṣhya chāhtē haĩ hamkō sukh śhānti pavitratā chāhiē , vō bhī jab pūrṇ yōg hōgā tab hī prāpti hōgī .
172However, if someone considers himself to be a deity and remains stable in that stage, he would not be able to receive God’s power, nor would his sins be absolved.
168Bākī dēvtā pad tō apnī bhaviṣhya prālabdh hai , apnā puruṣhārth alag hai aur apnī prālabdh bhī alag hai .
173We now have this full knowledge: I, a soul, a child of God will become karmateet and claim the deity status of being liberated-in-life in the future.
169Tō yah lakṣhya bhī alag hai , apnē kō is lakṣhya mē̃ nahī̃ rahnā hai ki maĩ pavitra ātmā ākhrīn paramātmā ban jāūṅgī , nahī̃ .
174By keeping this aim, you receive power. 175People desire happiness, peace and purity but that will only be attained when they have full yoga. 176The deity status is our future reward.
170Parantu hamkō paramātmā kē sāth yōg lagāē pavitra ātmā bannā hai , bākī ātmā kō kōī paramātmā nahī̃ bannā hai .
177Our efforts are separate from our reward. 178This aim is also separate. 179I mustn’t have the aim that I, a pure soul, will ultimately become God; no!
171Is avināśhī gyān par anēk nām rakhē huē haĩ
180However, I have to have yoga with God and become a pure soul.
172Is avināśhī īśhvarīy gyān par anēk nām dharē gayē haĩ ( rakhē gayē haĩ ) .
181It isn’t that a soul will become the Supreme Soul. 182This imperishable knowledge has been given many names.
173Kōī is gyān kō amr̥it bhī kahtē haĩ , kōī gyān kō añjan bhī kahtē haĩ .
183This imperishable Godly knowledge has been given many names. 184Some call this knowledge nectar and others call this knowledge ointment.
174Gurunānak nē kahā gyān añjan gurū diyā , kōī nē phir gyān varṣhā bhī kahā hai kyōṅki is gyān sē hī sārī sr̥iṣhṭi sabja ( harī bharī ) ban jātī hai .
185Guru Nanak said: When the Guru gives the ointment of knowledge… 186Some have called this knowledge the rain of knowledge because it is with this knowledge that the whole world becomes green and fresh again.
175Jō bhī tamōpradhān manuṣhya haĩ vō satōguṇī manuṣhya ban jātē haĩ aur gyān añjan sē andhiyārā miṭ jātā hai .
187All the tamopradhan human beings become satoguni and the darkness is dispelled with the ointment of knowledge.
176Is hī gyān kō phir amr̥it bhī kahtē haĩ jissē jō manuṣhya pañch vikārō̃ key|kī agni mē̃ jal rahē haĩ ussē ṭhaṇḍē hō jātē haĩ .
188This same knowledge is also called nectar through which people who are burning in the fire of the five vices are cooled down.
177Dēkhō gītā mē̃ paramātmā sāph kahtā hai kāmēṣhu krōdhēṣhu usmē̃ bhī pahlā mukhya hai kām , jō hī pañch vikārō̃ mē̃ mukhya bīj hai .
189Look, in the Gita, God very clearly says: There are those who are lustful and those who have anger. 190In that too, first and foremost is lust which is the main seed of the five vices.
178Bīj hōnē sē phir krōdh lōbh mōh ahaṅkār ādi jhāṛ paidā hōtā hai , ussē manuṣhyō̃ key|kī buddhi bhraṣhṭa hō jātī hai .
191When the seed is there, the tree of anger, greed, attachment and ego grows from it and people’s intellects become corrupt from that.
179Ab us hī buddhi mē̃ gyān key|kī dhārṇā hōtī hai , jab gyān key|kī dhārṇā pūrṇ buddhi mē̃ hō jātī hai tab hī vikārō̃ kā bīj khatm hō jātā hai .
192Now, this knowledge is being inculcated into those intellects. 193When knowledge has been totally inculcated into an intellect, the seed of the vices is then finished.
180Lōg tō sirph aisē hī kahtē haĩ ki maryādā mē̃ rahō , parantu asul maryādā kaunsī thī ?
194People simply ask you to maintain your code of conduct. 195However, what was the original code of conduct?
181Vō maryādā tō ājkal ṭūṭ gaī hai , kahā̃ vō satyugī , trētāyugī dēvī dēvtāō̃ key|kī maryādā , jō gr̥ihastha mē̃ rahkar kaisē nirvikārī pravr̥itti mē̃ rahtē thē . 182Ab vō sachchī maryādā kahā̃ hai ?
196Those codes of conduct are today broken. 197There is such a vast difference! 198Theirs were golden-aged and silver-aged codes of conduct of the deities who used to remain viceless while living in their households.
183Ājkal tō ulṭī vikārī maryādā pālan kar rahē haĩ , ēk dō kō aisē hī sikhlātē haĩ ki maryādā mē̃ chalō .
199Now, where is that real code of conduct today? 200Nowadays, they observe wrong, vicious codes of conduct.
184Manuṣhya kā pahlā kyā pharja hai , vō tō kōī nahī̃ jāntā , bas itnā hī prachār kartē haĩ ki maryādā mē̃ rahō , magar itnā bhī nahī̃ jāntē ki manuṣhya key|kī pahlī maryādā kaunsī hai ?
201They simply teach one another to stay within their codes of conduct, but no one knows what the first duty of human beings is. 202They just simply spread the knowledge of staying within their codes of conduct.
185Manuṣhya key|kī pahlī maryādā hai nirvikārī bannā , agar kōī sē aisā pūchhā jāē tum is maryādā mē̃ rahtē hō ?
203However, they don’t even know what the first code of conduct of human beings is. 204The first code of conduct of human beings is to remain viceless.
186Tō kah dētē haĩ ājkal is kaliyugī sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ nirvikārī hōnē key|kī himmat nahī̃ hai . 187Ab mukh sē kahnā ki maryādā mē̃ rahō , nirvikārī banō issē tō kōī nirvikārī ban nahī̃ saktā .
205If anyone were to be asked if he stays within this code of conduct, he would say: Nowadays, I don’t have the courage to remain viceless in this iron-aged world of today. 206Simply to tell someone to stay within the codes of conduct and remain viceless will not make that one viceless.
188Nirvikārī bannē K|kē liyē pahlē is gyān talvār sē in pañch vikārō̃ K|kē bīj kō khatm karnā hai tab hī vikarma bhasma hō sakē̃gē . 189Achchhā .
207In order to become viceless, you first of all have to finish the seed of the five vices with the sword of this knowledge for only then will your sins be burnt away.
190Ōm śhānti .
208Achcha.
