1 «  śhiv avataraṇ aur economy K|kē avatār ' '

1Together with the incarnation of Shiva on this day you children have to become

2Āj trimūrti śhiv bāp apnē ati pyārē-pyārē , mīṭhē-mīṭhē śālīgrām bachchō̃ sē milnē āyē haĩ .

2incarnations of economy with your precious treasure of thoughts. 3Today, Trimurti Shiv Baba has come to meet His extremely loving and sweetest saligram children.

3Āj K|kē din śhiv aur śāligrāmō̃ kā viśhēṣh divas hai .

4Today is the special day of Shiva and the saligrams.

4Tō bāp kō bachchō̃ sē milkar khuśhī hō rahī hai ki bachchō̃ kā birth day bāp manānē āyē haĩ aur bachchē kahtē haĩ ki ham bāp kā birth day manānē āyē haĩ .

5Baba is pleased because He has come to meet His children and to celebrate their birthday, and you children say that you have come to celebrate the birthday of your Father.

5Bāp kō bhī khuśhī hai , bachchō̃ kō bhī khuśhī hai .

6The Father is happy and the children are also happy.

6Kyō̃  ?

7Why?

7Kyōṅki yah birth day sārē kalp mē̃ nyārā aur pyārā hai .

8Because this birthday is the most unique and loveliest one in the whole cycle.

8Sārē kalp mē̃ aisā birth day kiskā bhī manāyā nahī̃ jātā hai .

9Throughout the whole cycle, no one else can celebrate such a birthday.

9Bāp aur bachchō̃ kā sāth mē̃ ēk hī samay par birth day hō - yah aur kisī bhī samay vā kisī kā bhī hōtā hī nahī̃ hai .

10At no other time can children and their father be born at the same moment. 11This doesn’t happen at any other time or for anyone else.

10Tō pahlē bāpdādā bachchō̃ kō padam-padam-padamguṇā mubārak dē rahē haĩ .

12So, first of all, BapDada gives all the children multimillion times greetings.

11Bachchō̃ key|kī mubārak tō amr̥itvēlē sē bahut-bahut dil sē , dil key|kī mubārak bāpdādā kē pās pahũch hī gaī hai .

13Greetings with a lot of love from the hearts of all the children have been reaching BapDada from amrit vela onwards.

12Bāpdādā itnē sab bachchō̃ kō , śāligrāmō̃ kō dēkh yahī khuśhī K|kē gīt dil mē̃ gātē haĩ ki vāh sikīladhē bachchē vāh  !

14Seeing so many saligram children, BapDada sings the song in His heart: “Wah saligram children! 15Wah! 16Wah you long-lost and now-found children!

13Vāh lāḍlē bachchē vāh  !

17Wah, wah beloved children! 18Wah!

14Vāh alaukik janm , alaukik birth day manānē vālē vāh  !

19Wah you children who are celebrating your alokik birthday!

15Tō bāpdādā her|har bachchē kē liē vāh-vāh kā gīt gā rahē haĩ kyōṅki itnī sārī viśhva key|kī ātmāō̃ mē̃ sē kitnē thōṛē sē āp bachchē aisē padamā-padam bhāgyavān banē hō aur āgē bhī bhāgyavān rahē̃gē .

20BapDada sings the song of “Wah, wah!” to each of you children because out of the souls of the whole world there are only you few children who have become multimillion times fortunate and who will also remain fortunate in the future. 21You will remain fortunate in an immortal way for half a cycle.

16Amar bhāgyavān ādhākalp rahē̃gē .

22This blessing is not just for one birth.

17Ēk janm kā vardān nahī̃ hai , anēk janm amar vardānī ban gayē .

23You have been given this immortal blessing for many births.

18Aisē bachchō̃ kō apnā svamān kitnā smr̥iti mē̃ rahtā hai  ?

24To what extent do you children remain aware of your self-respect?

19Is alaukik birth day vā alaukik janm kā akhuṭ varsā bāp janmatē hī bachchō̃ kō dētē haĩ .

25As soon as you children take birth in this alokik life, the Father gives you your unlimited inheritance for your alokik birthday.

20Janmatē hī smr̥iti kā śhrēṣhṭh tilak her|har bachchē kō bāp nē dē diyā hai .

26The moment you children took birth, the Father gave each of you your elevated tilak of awareness.

21Tilak lagā huā hai nā  ?

27You still have those tilaks on you, do you not?

22Brāhmaṇ jīvan hai tō tilak bhī avināśhī hai .

28Since this is your Brahmin life, those tilaks are imperishable.

23Brāhmaṇō̃ K|kē mastak mē̃ tilak , yah śhrēṣhṭh bhāgya key|kī niśhānī hai .

29The tilaks on the foreheads of you Brahmins are the sign of your elevated fortune.

24Tō āp sabhī aur chārō̃ ōr K|kē bachchē dūr baiṭhē bhī bahut umaṅg-utsāh sē yah nyārā aur pyārā birth day manā rahē haĩ .

30All of you children here, as well as all the children who are sitting far away, are celebrating this lovely and unique birthday with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.

25Manā rahē haĩ nā  ?

31You are celebrating it, are you not?

26Sabhī khuśh hō rahē haĩ ki bāp hamārā birth day manā rahē haĩ aur ham bāp kā manā rahē haĩ .

32You are all happy that the Father is celebrating your birthday and the Father is happy that you are celebrating His birthday.

27Kitnī khuśhī hai  !

33You are all so happy!

28Khuśhī kō māp saktē haĩ  ?

34Can you measure your happiness?

29Māp hai  ?

35Is it measurable?

30Is duniyā mē̃ , is alaukik khuśhī kā kōī māp karnē kā sādhan nikalā hī nahī̃ hai .

36No meter has yet been invented in this world to measure your alokik happiness.

31Agar āpkō kahē̃ ki sāgar jitnī khuśhī hai  ? 32Tō kyā kahē̃gē  ?

37If someone were to ask you if your happiness is as vast as the ocean, what would you say?

33Ki sāgar tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ hai .

38That the ocean is nothing compared to your happiness.

34Achchhā ākāśh jitnī hai  ?

39Achcha, is your happiness as high as the sky?

35Tō ākāśh sē bhī ūñchē āpkā ghar hai , āpkā sūkṣhmavatan hai isliē kōī māp-taul nikalā nahī̃ hai , na nikal saktā hai .

40Your home and your subtle region are far beyond the sky. 41Therefore, there is no instrument to measure your happiness, nor will there be one to measure it.

36Itnī khuśhī hai tō ēk hāth key|kī tālī bajāō .

42You have so much happiness! 43Therefore, clap with one hand!

37 ( sabhī nē tālī bajāī ) khuśhī hai - ismē̃ tō sabhī nē hāth uṭhāyā , mubārak hō .

44(Everyone waved). 45You all raised your hand saying that you have this happiness. 46So, congratulations!

38Abhī dūsrā praśhna hai , ( samajh gayē haĩ tō hans rahē haĩ ) bāpdādā her|har bachchē kō sadā khilā huā rūhānī gulāb dēkhnē chāhtē haĩ .

47Now for the second question: All of you have understood it and so you are amused. 48BapDada wants to see every child as a spiritual rose in full bloom, not in half bloom.

39Ādhā khilā huā nahī̃ , sadā aur full .

49It must be constant and fully bloomed.

40Khilā huā fool|phūl kitnā pyārā lagtā hai .

50A flower in full bloom is so lovely.

41Dēkhnē mē̃ hī majā ātā hai .

51It is a pleasure just to look at it.

42Aur thōṛā bhī murjhā jātā hai tō kyā kartē hō  ?

52However, if it were even slightly wilted, what would you do?

43Kinārē kar lētē hō .

53You would put it aside.

44Bāpdādā kinārē nahī̃ kartē lēkin vah svayã hī kinārē hō jātā hai .

54BapDada does not put you aside, but you put yourselves on one side.

45Āj tō manānē kā din hai nā  !

55Today is a day for a celebration, is it not?

46Murlī tō sadā suntē hī hō .

56You always listen to each murli anyway.

47Āj tō khūb khuśhī mē̃ man sē nāchō aur gāō .

57Today, you can dance and sing in your mind with a lot of happiness.

48Man sē nāchō , pāṅw sē nahī̃ .

58Dance in your mind, not with your feet!

49Pāṅw sē nāchnā śhurū karē̃gē tō ghamsān hō jāyēgā .

59If you start dancing physically, there will be a lot of chaos.

50Lēkin bāpdādā dēkh rahē haĩ ki bachchē nāch bhī rahē haĩ aur mīṭhē-mīṭhē bāp key|kī mahimā aur apnē alaukik mahimā K|kē gīt bhī bahut gā rahē haĩ .

60BapDada can see when you children are dancing and also singing lots of songs in praise of the sweetest Father and your own alokik life.

51Bābā kō āpkē man kā āvāj pahũch rahā hai .

61The sounds of your minds reach Baba.

52Sab dēśhō̃ sē āvāj ā rahā hai .

62The sound is coming from all countries.

53Bāp kā āvāj sun bhī rahē haĩ aur bāp bhī unhō̃ kā āvāj sun rahā hai .

63You are hearing the Father’s sound and the Father is hearing your sound.

54Bāp bhī kahtē haĩ hē viśhva K|kē bahut-bahut snēhī bachchē khūb nāchō , khūb gāō aur kām hī kyā hai  !

64The Father also says: Hey, loveliest children of the world, sing and dance as much as you want! 65What else do you have to do?

55Brāhmaṇō̃ kā kām kyā hai  ?

66What do Brahmins have to do?

56Yōg lagānā bhī kyā hai  ?

67What is having yoga all about?

57Mēhnat hai kyā  ?

68Is it hard work?

58Yōg kā arth|earth hī hai ātmā aur paramātmā kā milan .

69To have yoga means for a soul to have a meeting with the Supreme Soul, God.

59Tō milan mē̃ kyā hōtā hai  ?

70What happens when this meeting takes place?

60Khuśhī mē̃ nāchtē haĩ .

71You dance in happiness.

61Bāp key|kī mahimā K|kē mīṭhē-mīṭhē gīt dil automatic gātī hai .

72Your heart automatically starts to sing sweet songs of praise to the Father.

62Brāhmaṇō̃ kā kām hī yah hai , gātē rahō aur nāchtē rahō .

73This is the work that you Brahmins do; you just continue to sing and dance.

63Yah muśhkil hai  ?

74Is this difficult?

64Nāchnā gānā muśhkil hai  ?

75Is it difficult to sing and dance?

65Nahī̃ hai nā .

76It isn’t, is it?

66Jiskō muśhkil lagtā hai vah hāth uṭhāō .

77Those who find it difficult, raise your hands!

67Ājkal tō nāchnē gānē key|kī season hai , tō āpkō bhī kyā karnā hai  ?

78Nowadays, it is the season for singing and dancing, and so what do you have to do?

68Nāchō , gāō .

79Sing and dance!

69Sahaj hai nā  ?

80This is easy, is it not?

70Sahaj hai tō kāndh tō hilāō .

81If it is easy, at least nod in agreement.

71Muśhkil tō nahī̃ hai nā  ?

82It isn’t difficult, is it?

72Jān-būjh kar sahaj sē haṭkar muśhkil mē̃ chalē jātē hō .

83Why do you purposely move away from something easy or change it and make it difficult?

73Muśhkil hai nahī̃ , bahut sahaj hai kyōṅki bāp jāntē haĩ ki ādhākalp muśhkil key|kī jīvan vyatīt kī hai isliē is samay sahaj hai .

84It is not difficult, it is very easy. 85The Father knows that for half a cycle the lives you had were very difficult. 86Therefore, it is very easy at this time!

74Muśhkil vālā kōī hai  ?

87Does anyone here find this difficult?

75Kabhī-kabhī muśhkil lagtā hai  ?

88Do you sometimes find it difficult?

76Jaisē kōī chaltē-chaltē rāstā bhūlkar aur rāstē mē̃ chalā jāē tō muśhkil lagēgā nā .

89When people lose their way and end up on the wrong path, they would find it difficult.

77Gyān kā mārg muśhkil nahī̃ hai .

90This path of knowledge and Brahman’s lives are not difficult.

78Brāhmaṇ jīvan muśhkil nahī̃ hai . 79Brāhmaṇ kē bajāē kṣhatriya ban jātē hō tō kṣhatriya kā kām hī hōtā hai laṛnā , jhagaṛnā … vah tō muśhkil hī hōgā nā  !

91It is when you become warriors instead of Brahmins – and the work of warriors is to fight and quarrel – that is when it is difficult. 92It is difficult to battle and easy to celebrate with pleasure.

80Yuddha karnā tō muśhkil hōtā hai , mauj manānā sahaj hōtā hai .

93Double foreigners are those who celebrate in pleasure. 94Clap with one hand!

81Double foreigners mauj manānē vālē hō nā  ! 82Ēk hāth key|kī tālī bajāō .

95You are enjoying yourselves now, but don’t become confused when you return home.

83Mauj mē̃ hō  ? 84Vahā̃ jākar mūñjh tō nahī̃ jāyēṅgē  ?

96The Shiva Jayanti of today symbolises two important things.

85Dēkhō , āj K|kē śhiv jayantī kā mahatva dō bātō̃ kā hai .

97Firstly, people hold a fast or make a vow on this day.

86Ēk is divas par vrat rakhtē haĩ .

98Double foreigners do not have to celebrate it in this way.

87Double foreigners kō tō manānā hī nahī̃ paṛā . 88Bhārat mē̃ hī manātē haĩ tō is divas kā mahatva hai - vrat rakhnā aur dūsrā hai jāgraṇ karnā .

99It is the people of Bharat who celebrate in this way and so, because of the importance of this day, they hold a fast. 100The second thing is that they stay awake throughout the night.

89Tō āp sabnē vrat bhī lē liyā hai nā  ?

101All of you are observing your fast, are you not?

90Pakkā vrat liyā hai  ?

102Is the vow that you made firm?

91Yā kabhī kachchā , kabhī pakkā  ?

103Or, is it sometimes firm and sometimes weak?

92Kachchī chīz achchhī lagtī hai  ?

104Do you like anything that tastes unripe?

93Pakā huā sab achchhā lagtā hai nā  !

105You only like things that are ripe, do you not?

94Tō vrat kyā liyā hai  ?

106So what vow have you made?

95Bāpdādā nē sabsē pahlā vrat kaun sā diyā  ?

107What first vow did BapDada have you make?

96Jab smr̥iti kā tilak lagā tō pahlā-pahlā vrat kaun sā liyā  ?

108What was the first vow you made, when you had a tilak of awareness put on you?

97Yād hai nā  ?

109Do you remember it?

98Sampūrṇ pavitra bhav .

110The vow of complete purity.

99Bāp nē kahā aur bachchō̃ nē dhāraṇ kiyā .

111As soon as the Father said it, you children adopted it.

100Tō pavitratā kā vrat sirph brahmcharya kā vrat nahī̃ lēkin brahmā samān her|har saṅkalp , bōl aur karma mē̃ pavitratā - iskō kahā jātā hai brahmchārī aur brahmā-cārī .

112The vow of purity is not just a vow of celibacy (brahmchari), but it is to remain pure in every thought, word and deed you think, speak and do, the same as Brahma. 113This is known as brahmchari (celibate) and Brahmachari (one who follows Brahma).

101Her|har bōl mē̃ pavitratā kā vibration samāyā huā hō .

114Let vibrations of purity be merged in every word you speak.

102Her|har saṅkalp mē̃ pavitratā kā mahatva hō . 103Her|har karma mē̃ , karma aur yōg arthāt karmayōgī kā anubhav hō - iskō kahā jātā hai brahmāchārī .

115Let every thought you have be filled with the recognition of the importance of purity. 116Experience being a karma yogi, that is, remain in yoga in every action you perform.

104Brahmā bāp kō dēkhā her|har bōl mahāvākya , sādhāraṇ vākya nahī̃ kyōṅki āpkā janm hī sādhāraṇ nahī̃ , alaukik hai .

117This is what is meant as being a Brahmachari. 118You saw how every word Father Brahma spoke was an elevated version; he never spoke ordinary words.

105Alaukiktā kā arth|earth hī hai pavitratā .

119Your birth too is not ordinary; it is alokik (spiritual).

106Tō rōz rāt kō apnā teacher bankar check karō aur apnē kō percentage K|kē pramāṇ apnē āpkō hī marks dō .

120To be alokik means to have complete purity. 121Therefore, become your own teacher and check yourself every night and give yourself your percentage of marks.

107Bannā 100 percent hai .

122You have to become 100 percent.

108Lēkin her|har rōz apnē āpkō dēkhō , dūsrē kō nahī̃ dēkhnā .

123Watch yourself every day; don’t watch others!

109Bāpdādā nē dēkhā hai ki apnē bajāē dūsrō̃ kō dēkhnē lag jātē haĩ , vah sahaj hōtā hai .

124BapDada has seen that, instead of looking at yourselves, you start to watch others. 125That is easy to do!

110Tō apnē kō dēkhō ki āj K|kē din saṅkalp , bōl aur karma mē̃ kitnī percent rahī  ?

126So each of you should examine yourself and see what percentage of purity you have in your thoughts, words and actions.

111Āp lōgō̃ nē is varṣh chārō̃ ōr kyā sandēśh diyā hai  ?

127What message did you give everyone this year?

112Parivartan sabhī function mē̃ sunāyā hai .

128At all the functions you had, you spoke about transformation.

113Jahā̃ tahā̃ bhāṣhaṇ kiyā hai tō parivartan K|kē topic par bahut achchhē-achchhē bhāṣhaṇ kiyē haĩ .

129Wherever you gave a lecture, you spoke well about the topic of transformation.

114Tō is varṣh chārō̃ ōr sēvā mē̃ aurō̃ kō bhī parivartan kā lakṣhya bahut achchhē dhūmdhām sē diyā hai , bāpdādā khuśh hai .

130On the field of service this year, you gave others the aim of transformation, did you not? 131You gave this message to everyone with a lot of splendour.

115Tō āp apnē liē bhī yah check karō ki her|har rōz , her|har din kyā percentage mē̃ parivartan huā  ?

132BapDada is pleased. 133Therefore, check yourself every day to see what percentage of transformation is taking place within you.

116Parivartan chaṛhtī kalā kā hō , girtī kalā kā nahī̃ .

134You should be transforming into your ascending stage, not your descending stage.

117Bāpdādā bhī har ēk bachchē kā chart dēkhtā hai .

135BapDada looks at the chart of every child.

118Āp sōchē̃gē sabhī bachchō̃ kā dēkhtē haĩ yā kōī viśhēṣh kā dēkhtē haĩ  !

136Perhaps you’re wondering whether Baba looks at everyone’s chart or only at the chart of a few special children.

119Bāpdādā sabhī bachchō̃ kā chart kabhī-kabhī dēkhtē haĩ , rōz nahī̃ dēkhtē lēkin kabhī-kabhī dēkhtē haĩ - chāhē vah last hai , chāhē fast hai .

137Whether it is a child who comes last, or a child going fast, BapDada sees the charts of all of you children from time to time – not all the time.

120Sabhī hans rahē haĩ tō bāpdādā hī sunā dēvē ki kyā chart hai  ?

138You are laughing and so should BapDada tell you what He saw in the charts?

121Āj kā din manānē kā hai nā , isliē nahī̃ sunātē haĩ .

139Today is a day for celebration and so Baba will not tell you.

122Lēkin āgē kē liē iśhārā dē rahē haĩ ki āj K|kē din kā jō mahatva hai vrat lēnā arthāt dr̥iṛh saṅkalp lēnā . 123Vrat kō kabhī sachchē bhakta tōṛtē nahī̃ haĩ .

140However, Baba is signalling you that you must remember in future how important this day and time is. 141It is the day and time of maintaining your fast, that is, of having a determined thought.

124Tō bāpdādā bachchō̃ kō phir sē āgē kē liē iśhārā dē rahē haĩ ki abhī bhī pahlā foundation saṅkalp śhakti kabhī-kabhī west|waste jyādā aur negative west|waste sē thōṛā cum|kam hai .

142True devotees never break their vow. 143BapDada is once again signalling you children that even now, your first foundation of the power of thought is sometimes being wasted too much.

125Is saṅkalp śhakti kā upyōg jitnā sva prati vā viśhva kē prati karnā hai utnā aur baṛhāō kyōṅki saṅkalp K|kē ādhār par bōl aur karma hōtā hai tō saṅkalp śhakti kā parivartan karō .

144Negative thoughts are a little less than wasteful thoughts. 145Increase your power of thoughts for yourself and for the world as much as you want, because your thoughts are the basis of your words and actions.

126Jō west|waste aur negative jātā hai , usē parivartan kar viśhva kalyāṇ kē prati kārya mē̃ lagāō .

146So, transform the power of your thoughts. 147Transform whatever is waste and negative, and use it in the task of world benefit.

127Bāpdādā saṅkalp K|kē khajānē kō sarv śhrēṣhṭh māntē haĩ isliē is saṅkalp K|kē khajānē prati economy K|kē avatār banō .

148BapDada considers the treasure of thoughts to be the most precious treasure. 149Therefore, become incarnations of economy with your treasure of thoughts.

128Āj K|kē din kō avataraṇ kā din kahā jātā hai tō bāpdādā key|kī sabhī bachchō̃ prati yahī śhubh āśhā hai ki āj K|kē din śhiv avataraṇ kē sāth āp sabhī economy K|kē avatār banō .

150Today is known as ‘The Day of the Incarnation’. 151So, BapDada’s pure desire for all the children is that, as well as today being the day of the Incarnation of Shiva, lit it also become the day when all of you become incarnations of economy.

129Saṅkalp mē̃ economy key|kī arthāt west|waste sē bachāyā , tō aur sabhī khajānē automatic bach jāyēṅgē .

152When you are economical with your thoughts, that is, when you stop your thoughts being wasteful, you will automatically be economical with all your other treasures.

130Tō 99 mē̃ kyā hōgā  ?

153What will happen in 1999?

13199 chālū hō gayā .

1541999 has already begun!

132Pahlē sōch rahē thē , 99 mē̃ kyā hōgā  ? 133Kuchh huā kyā  ?

155Previously, you were wondering what would happen in 1999. Did anything happen?

134February tō ā gaī .

156It is now already February.

135Agar hōgā bhī tō āpkō kyā hai  ?

157Even if something does happen, what does that matter to you?

136Āpkō kōī nuksān hai  ?

158Would there be any loss for you?

137Bhay hai  ?

159Are you afraid?

138Kyā hōgā , uskā bhay hōtā hai  ?

160Are you afraid because of not knowing what is going to happen?

139Āpkē liē achchhā hī hōgā .

161Everything for you will be good.

140Duniyā kē liē kuchh bhī hō jāē āpkō nirbhay aur harṣhitmukh hō khēl dēkhnā hai .

162No matter what happens in the world, you simply have to remain fearless and cheerful and watch the drama.

141Khēl mē̃ khūn bhī dikhātē haĩ tō pyār bhī dikhātē haĩ .

163In a drama, as well as love, they also show blood.

142Laṛāī bhī dikhātē haĩ tō achchhī bātē̃ bhī dikhātē haĩ . 143Phir khēl mē̃ bhay hōtā hai kyā  ?

164As well as good things, they also show fighting. 165So, are you afraid in that drama about what will happen or what happened?

144Kyā hōgā , kyā huā , kyā huā  ?

166Do you wonder what will happen?

145Yah sōchtē haĩ kyā  ? 146Majē sē baiṭhkar dēkhtē haĩ .

167You just simply continue to sit and enjoy watching the drama.

147Tō yah bhī bēhad kā khēl hai .

168This too is an unlimited play.

148Agar jarā bhī bhay vā ghabrāhaṭ hōgī - kyā hō gayā , kyā hō gayā … aisā tō hōnā nahī̃ chāhiē , kyō̃ hō gayā tō aisī sthiti vālē kō effect āyēgā .

169If you have the slightest fear about what was shown happening or you think that it should not have happened like that, then if you have such a stage you would be affected by it.

149Achchhē mē̃ achchhī sthiti aur gaṛbaṛ key|kī sthiti mē̃ khud bhī gaṛbaṛ mē̃ ā jāyēṅgē , halchal mē̃ ā jāyēṅgē isliē 99 hō yā 2 hajār hō , āpkō kyā hai  ?

170When something good is shown taking place, you would have a good stage, and when something is shown going wrong in the play, you would also become affected by that and experience turmoil inside yourself. 171Therefore, what does it matter to you whether it is 1999 or 2000?

150Hōnē dō khēl . 151Majē sē dēkhō .

172Let the games continue, simply watch and enjoy them.

152Ghabrānā nahī̃ .

173Don’t become afraid!

153Hāy yah kyā hō gayā  !

174Don’t become upset by wondering why something happened.

154Saṅkalp mē̃ bhī nahī̃ āyē .

175Don’t have the slightest thought about it.

155Sab pūchhtē haĩ 99 mē̃ kyā hōgā  ? 156Kuchh hōgā , nahī̃ hōgā .

176Everyone is asking what is going to happen in 1999 or whether anything is going to happen or not.

157Bāp-dādā kahtē haĩ āp lōgō̃ nē hī prakr̥iti kō sēvā dī hai ki khūb saphāī karō , uskō lambā-lambā jhāḍū diyā hai , saphā karō .

177BapDada says: All of you have given the elements of nature the task of cleaning everything. 178You have given nature long brooms, so that they can clean everything.

158Tō ghabrātē kyō̃ hō  ?

179Therefore, why are you afraid?

159Āpkē order sē vah saphāī karāyēgī tō āp kyō̃ halchal mē̃ ātē hō  ?

180Nature will cleanse everything according to your orders, and so why are you afraid?

160Āpnē hī tō order diyā hai .

181You are the ones who have issued this order.

161Tō achal-aḍōl ban man aur buddhi kō bilkul śhaktiśhālī banāē achal-aḍōl sthiti mē̃ sthit hō jāō .

182So, become unshakeable and immovable and make your minds and intellects completely powerful. 183Stabilise yourselves in the unshakeable and immovable stage.

162Prakr̥iti kā khēl dēkhtē chalō .

184Continue to watch the games of nature.

163Ghabrānā nahī̃ .

185Don’t be afraid!

164Āp alaukik hō , sādhāraṇ nahī̃ hō .

186You are alokik, not ordinary.

165Sādhāraṇ lōg halchal mē̃ āyēṅgē , ghabrāyēṅgē .

187It is ordinary people who shake and become afraid.

166Alaukik , master sarvśhaktivān ātmāyē̃ khēl dēkhtē apnē viśhva kalyāṇ K|kē kārya mē̃ busy rahē̃gē .

188You, unique master almighty authority souls just need to watch the drama and remain busy in your task of world benefit.

167Agar man aur buddhi kō free rakhā tō ghabrāyēṅgē .

189If you don’t keep your minds and intellects busy, you do then become afraid.

168Man aur buddhi sē light house hō , light phailāyēṅgē , is kārya mē̃ busy rahē̃gē tō busy ātmā kō bhay nahī̃ hōgā , sākṣhīpan hōgā  ; aur kōī bhī halchal hō apnē buddhi kō sadā hī clear rakhnā , kyō̃ kyā mē̃ buddhi kō busy vā bharā huā nahī̃ rakhnā , khālī rakhnā .

190If you make your minds and intellects lighthouses and keep busy in the task of spreading that light, then you busy souls would never have any time to be afraid. 191By remaining detached observers, if there is any upheaval, your intellects would be constantly kept clear. 192Don’t keep your intellects busy and full of such questions as “What?” or “Why?”

169Ēk bāp aur maĩ . . . tab samay anusār chāhē patra , telephone , T . V|we . vā āpkē jō bhī sādhan nikalē haĩ , vah nahī̃ bhī pahũchē tō bāpdādā kā direction clear catch hōgā .

193Keep them clear! 194Simply one Father and I. 195Then, according to the time, even if the post, telephones, T.V. or any other means of communication don’t work, you will be able to catch BapDada’s directions clearly.

170Yah science K|kē sādhan kabhī bhī ādhār nahī̃ banānā .

196Don't ever make the instruments of science your support.

171Use karō lēkin sādhanō̃ K|kē ādhār par apnī jīvan kō nahī̃ banāō .

197Use those instruments, but don’t make your life rely on them.

172Kabhī-kabhī science K|kē sādhan hōtē huē bhī use nahī̃ kar sakē̃gē isliē silence kā sādhan - jahā̃ bhī hōṅgē , jaisī bhī paristhiti hōgī bahut spaṣhṭ aur bahut jaldī kām mē̃ āyēgā .

198Sometimes, even though you have various facilities of science, you’re unable to use them. 199This is why wherever you are, no matter how adverse the situation you are in is, your means of clear and quick communication will be your power of silence.

173Lēkin apnē buddhi key|kī line clear rakhnā .

200However, you must keep the lines of your intellects clear.

174Samjhā .

201Do you understand?

175Āp hī tō āhvān kar rahē haĩ ki jaldī-jaldī golden age ā jāvē .

202You are invoking the golden age to come soon. 203There has to be this cleanliness in the golden age.

176Tō golden age mē̃ yah saphāī chāhiē nā .

204So, nature will cleanse everything very well for you.

177Tō prakr̥iti achchhī saphāī karēgī . 178Tō āj K|kē din saṅkalp nahī̃ lēkin dr̥iṛh saṅkalp kyā liyā  ?

205Today is the day to have a determined thought – not just a thought, but determination in your thought.

179Economy kā avatār bannā hī hai .

206What determination did you have today?

180Chāhē saṅkalp mē̃ , chāhē bōl mē̃ , chāhē sādhāraṇ karma key|kī economy .

207That you have to become an incarnation of economy. 208To be economical in your thoughts, words and ordinary actions.

181Aur dūsrī bāt - sadā buddhi kō clear rakhnā .

209Secondly, keep your intellects constantly clear.

182Jiskō dūsrē śhabdō̃ mē̃ bāp-dādā kahtē haĩ - sachchī dil par sāhēb rāzī .

210This is what BapDada is referring to, when He says that the Lord is pleased with an honest heart.

183Sachchī dil , sāph dil .

211An honest and clean heart!

184Vartamān samay mē̃ sachchāī aur saphāī key|kī āvaśhyaktā hai .

212At the present time, there is a great need for honesty and cleanliness.

185Dil mē̃ bhī sachchāī , parivār mē̃ bhī sachchāī aur bāp sē bhī sachchāī .

213Honesty in your heart; honesty with the family and honesty with the Father. 214Do you understand?

186Samjhā . 187Āj K|kē din kahnā nahī̃ thā lēkin kah diyā .

215Baba didn’t want to say anything today but He said it anyway!

188Bāpdādā kā pyār hai nā tō jarā bhī kamjōrī bāpdādā dēkh nahī̃ saktē .

216BapDada has great love for you, and so He cannot bear to see even a little weakness in you.

189Bāpdādā sadā her|har bachchē kō apnē jaisā sampūrṇ dēkhnē chāhtē haĩ .

217BapDada constantly wants to see every child as perfect as Himself. 218There is upheaval everywhere.

190Chārō̃ ōr halchal hai , prakr̥iti K|kē sabhī tatva khūb halchal machā rahē haĩ , ēk taraph bhī halchal sē mukt nahī̃ haĩ , vyaktiyō̃ key|kī bhī halchal hai , prakr̥iti key|kī bhī halchal hai , aisē samay par jab is sr̥iṣhṭi par chārō̃ ōr halchal hai tō āp kyā karē̃gē  ?

219All the elements of nature are creating a great deal of upheaval everywhere. 220Not a single place is free from upheaval. 221People are in upheaval, and so is nature. 222When there is upheaval everywhere in this world, what will you do?

191Safety kā sādhan kaun sā hai  ?

223What will be your means of safety at such a time?

192Second mē̃ apnē kō vidēhī , aśharīrī vā ātma-abhimānī banā lō tō halchal mē̃ achal rah saktē hō .

224Are you able to remove yourself from upheaval within a second and make yourself videhi (bodiless), ashariri (bodiless), soul conscious and unshakeable?

193Ismē̃ time tō nahī̃ lagēgā  ?

225Or, will it take you some time to become this?

194Kyā hōgā  ?

226What will happen?

195Abhī trial karō - ēk second mē̃ man-buddhi kō jahā̃ chāhō vahā̃ sthit kar saktē hō  ?

227Try this now! 228Are you able to stabilise your minds and intellects when and where you want in a second? 229(Baba conducted drill.)

196 ( drill ) iskō kahā jātā hai - sādhnā .

230This is known as sadhana (spiritual endeavour).

197Achchhā .

231Achcha.

198Dēśh-vidēśh K|kē chārō̃ ōr K|kē bāp K|kē lav|love mē̃ lavlīn ātmāō̃ kō , sadā svayã kō brahmāchārī sthiti mē̃ sthit karnē vālē snēhī , sahyōgī bachchō̃ kō , sadā ēknāmī aur economy kō kārya mē̃ lagānē vālē himmatvān bachchō̃ kō , sadā halchal mē̃ bhī achal rahnē vālē nirbhay ātmāō̃ kō , sadā mauj manānē vālē , bāp K|kē samīp rahnē vālē bachchō̃ kō yādpyār aur namastē . 199Bachchō̃ K|kē sab card milē .

232To all the children in this land and abroad who are merged in the Father’s love, to all the loving and co-operative children who stabilise themselves in the stage of being Brahmachari, to the courageous children who constantly belong to One and who remain economical in every task they do, to the fearless souls who remain unshakeable during any upheaval, to those who constantly celebrate in pleasure, to the children who remain close to the Father, love, remembrance and namaste.

200Bāpdādā dēkh rahē haĩ , sabhī nē janm din K|kē card aur foreign vālō̃ nē pyār K|kē divas K|kē card bhējē haĩ , tō pyār kā sāgar bāp sabhī bachchō̃ kō śhivrātri K|kē sāth-sāth pyār K|kē lavlīn divas key|kī bhī mubārak dē rahē haĩ .

233Baba has received all the cards that the children have sent. 234BapDada has seen all the birthday cards that you have sent, and also the Valentine Day’s cards some of you have sent. 235Together with greetings for Shiv Ratri, the Father, the Ocean of Love, is also giving you greetings for Valentine’s Day.

201Mubārak hō , mubārak hō , mubārak hō .

236Congratulations! 237Congratulations! 238Congratulations!

202Chārō̃ ōr K|kē dēśh , śhahar , gānv , chārō̃ ōr K|kē bachchō̃ kō , sabsē pahlē chhōṭē-chhōṭē gānv vālē bachchō̃ kō yād-pyār aur mubārak .

239To all the children in all the countries, cities, towns and villages and, most of all, to all the children in the small villages, love, remembrance and congratulations.

203Sāth mē̃ āp sabkō bhī mubārak .

240Congratulations to all of you too!

204Kitnī mubārak dē̃ .

241How many congratulations can Baba give?

205Jitnā āp dhāraṇ kar saktē hō ussē bhī jyādā mubārak .

242Baba is giving more congratulations than you can accept.

Blessing

206Vardān  : snēh aur navīntā key|kī authority sē samarpit karānē vālī mahān ātmā bhav

243Blessing: May you be a great soul and inspire others to surrender with the authority of your love and newness.

207Jō bhī samparka mē̃ āyē haĩ unhē̃ aisā sambandh mē̃ lāō jō sambandh mē̃ ātē-ātē samarpaṇ buddhi hō jāē̃ aur kahē̃ ki jō bāp nē kahā hai vahī satya hai , iskō kahtē haĩ samarpaṇ buddhi .

244 Whoever comes into contact with you, invite them into such a relationship that, while forming this relationship, they develop a surrendered intellect and say: “Whatever the Father has said is the truth.”

208Phir unkē praśhna samāpt hō jāyēṅgē .

245This is known as having a surrendered intellect.

209Sirph yah nahī̃ kahē̃ ki inhō̃ kā gyān achchhā hai . 210Lēkin yah nayā gyān hai jō naī duniyā lāyēgā - yah āvāj hō tab kumbhakaraṇ jāgēṅgē .

246Their questions will then finish. 247Let them not just say that your knowledge is good, but that this knowledge is new and it will bring the new world. 248Only when there is this sound will Kumbhkarna awaken.

211Tō navīntā key|kī mahāntā dvārā snēh aur authority K|kē balance sē aisā samarpit karāō tab kahē̃gē mike taiyār huē .

249So, with the greatness of newness and your balance of love and authority, enable them to surrender in this way, for only then can it be said that the mikes have been prepared.
