Question
2Praśhna : gyān mārg key|kī kaun-sī bāt bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī pasand kartē haĩ ?
3Question: What aspect of the path of knowledge do the people on the path of devotion also like?
Answer
3Uttar : svachchhatā . 4Gyān mārg mē̃ tum bachchē svachchha bantē hō .
4Answer: Cleanliness.
5Bāp tumhārē mailē kapṛō̃ kō svachchha banānē āyē haĩ , ātmā jab svachchha arthāt pāvan ban jātī hai tab ghar mē̃ jānē K|kē , uṛnē K|kē paṅkh lag jātē haĩ .
5On the path of knowledge, you children become clean. 6The Father has come to clean your dirty clothes. 7So, only when you souls become clean, that is, pure, do you develop the wings to fly and return home.
6Bhakti mē̃ bhī svachchhatā kō bahut pasand kartē haĩ .
8Those on the path of devotion also like cleanliness a great deal.
7Svachchha bannē kē liē gaṅgā mē̃ jākar snān kartē , lēkin pānī sē ātmā svachchha nahī̃ ban saktī .
9They go to bathe in the Ganges in order to become clean but souls cannot be cleansed by water.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
10Om shanti.
9Mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchē , tumhē̃ yād kī yātrā kō bhūlnā nahī̃ hai .
11Sweetest children, you must not forget the pilgrimage of remembrance.
10Subah kō jaisē yah practice kartē hō , usmē̃ vāṇī nahī̃ chaltī hai kyōṅki vah hai nirvāṇdhām mē̃ jānē key|kī yukti .
12At the time when you practise this early in the morning, no speech is used because this is the way that leads you back to the land of Nirvana.
11Pāvan bannē K|kē sivāē tum bachchē jā nahī̃ saktē , uṛ nahī̃ saktē .
13Without becoming pure, you children cannot return or fly home.
12Yah bhī samajhtē hō satyug jab hōtā hai tō kitnī ḍhēr ātmāyē̃ uṛkar jātī haĩ .
14You also understand that when it is time for the golden age to start, countless souls will fly and return home.
13Abhī tō kitnī krōṛ ātmāyē̃ haĩ .
15There are now millions of souls.
14Vahā̃ satyug mē̃ jākar kuchh lākh bachē̃gē .
16In the golden age, there will only be a few hundred thousand.
15Bākī sab uṛ jātē haĩ .
17Everyone else will have flown home.
16Jarūr kōī tō ākar paṅkh dētē haĩ nā .
18There must definitely be someone who gives wings to the souls.
17Is yād kī yātrā sē hī ātmā pavitra hō jātī hai .
19You souls become pure by staying on this pilgrimage of remembrance.
18Inkē sivāē aur kōī upāya hai nahī̃ pāvan hōnē kā .
20There is no other way to become pure. 21Only the one Father is the Purifier.
19Patit-pāvan bhī ēk bāp kō hī kahtē haĩ phir kōī īśhvar kahtē , paramātmā kahtē vā bhagvān kahtē haĩ .
22Although some say Ishwar, others say the Supreme Soul and some call Him God, He is only one.
20Hai tō ēk . 21Anēk nahī̃ haĩ .
23There aren't many different beings.
22Bāp sabkā ēk hai .
24Everyone's Father is the same.
23Laukik bāp sabkā apnā-apnā hōtā hai . 24Bākī pārlaukik tō sabkā ēk hī hai .
25Each one has a different physical father but the Father from beyond is the same for everyone.
25Vah ēk jab ātē haĩ tō sabkō sukh dēkar jātē haĩ .
26When that One comes, He gives happiness to everyone and then returns home again.
26Phir sukh mē̃ unkō yād karnē key|kī darkār nahī̃ .
27There is then no need to remember Him at the time of happiness.
27Vah bhī past hō gayā nā .
28That then becomes the past.
28Ab bāp baiṭh past , present , future kā rāz samjhātē haĩ .
29The Father now explains the secrets of the past, as well as the present and the future.
29Jhāṛ kā past , present , future bahut easy hai .
30The past, present and future of a tree are very easy to understand.
30Tum jāntē hō ki kaisē bīj sē jhāṛ hōtā hai . 31Phir vr̥iddhi kō pātē-pātē ākhrīn ant ā jātā hai .
31You understand how a tree emerges from a seed and how it then continues to grow until it finally reaches the end.
32Uskō kahā jātā hai ādi , madhya , ant .
32That is known as the beginning, the middle and the end.
33Yah hai variety dharmō̃ kā jhāṛ , variety feature kā jhāṛ .
33This tree is of the variety of religions, a tree of the variety of features.
34Sabkē feature apnē-apnē haĩ .
34Everyone’s features are different.
35Phūlō̃ mē̃ tum dēkhē̃gē jaisā-jaisā jhāṛ vaisē-vaisē unkē phūl nikaltē haĩ .
35You can see how flowers are also different according to the variety of each plant.
36Un sab phūlō̃ K|kē features ēk rahē̃gē . 37Parantu is manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi rūpī jhāṛ mē̃ variety hai .
36Although flowers of the same variety have the same features, there are many varieties of features within the human world tree.
38Usmē̃ har ēk jhāṛ key|kī śhōbhā apnī-apnī hōtī hai .
37Each one in the tree has his own individual beauty.
39Is jhāṛ mē̃ anēk prakār key|kī śhōbhā hai .
38There are various types of beauty in this tree.
40Jaisē bāp samjhātē haĩ - śhyām sundar , yah dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kē liē hai .
39Similarly, the Father has explained the meaning of Shyam Sundar (the ugly and beautiful one).
41Jab vah satōpradhān sē tamōpradhān bantē haĩ tō vahī sundar sē śhyām bantē haĩ .
40This is said of the deities when they change from satopradhan to tamopradhan. 41You are now changing from ugly to beautiful.
42Aisē śhyām-sundar aur kōī dharm mē̃ nahī̃ bantē haĩ .
42People of no other religion change from ugly to beautiful in this way.
43Unhō̃ K|kē features bhī dēkhō .
43Just look at their features.
44Jāpāniyō̃ K|kē features , Europeans K|kē features , chīniyō̃ K|kē features dēkhō .
44Look at the features of the Japanese, the Europeans and the Chinese.
45India vālō̃ K|kē features badlī|badalī hōtē jātē haĩ .
45It is only the people of India whose features change.
46Unhō̃ kē liē hī śhyām-sundar kā gāyan hai , aur kōī dharm kē liē nahī̃ .
46The praise of changing from ugly to beautiful applies to the people of Bharat, not to any other religion.
47Yah manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi kā jhāṛ hai .
47This tree is that of the human world.
48Variety dharm haĩ . 49Vah sab number-vār kaisē ātē haĩ , yah knowledge tum bachchō̃ kō abhī miltī hai .
48It is a tree of the variety of religions and how they all come, numberwise. 49You children now receive this knowledge.
50Aur kōī yah bāt samjhā na sakē .
50No one else can explain these matters.
51Yah kalp hai 5 hazār varṣh kā .
51This cycle lasts for 5000 years.
52Iskō vr̥ikṣha kahō yā duniyā kahō , ādhā mē̃ hai bhakti , jiskō rāvaṇ rājya kahā jātā hai . 535 vikārō̃ kā rājya chaltā hai , kām chitā par chaṛhkar patit sānvarē ban jātē haĩ .
52This can either be called a tree or a world. 53For half the period, there is devotion; that is called the kingdom of Ravan: it is the kingdom of the five vices in which people become ugly and impure by sitting on the pyre of lust.
54Rāvaṇ sampradāy vālō̃ key|kī chalan aur daivī sampradāy vālō̃ key|kī chalan mē̃ rāt-din kā fark hai .
54There is a great deal of difference between the activity of Ravan’s community, the devilish community, and the activity of the deities.
55Manuṣhya unhō̃ key|kī mahimā gātē haĩ , apnē kō nīñch pāpī kahtē haĩ .
55People sing their praise while considering themselves to be degraded sinners.
56Anēk prakār K|kē manuṣhya haĩ .
56There are many different types of human being.
57Bhakti tō tumnē bahut kī hai .
57You have done a great deal of devotion.
58Punarjanma lētē-lētē bhakti kartē āyē hō .
58While taking rebirth you have continued to perform worship and devotion.
59Pahlē hōtī hai avyabhichārī bhakti .
59At first, worship is unadulterated. 60You start the devotion of only the One.
60Ēk key|kī bhakti pahlē-pahlē śhurū kartē haĩ phir vyabhichārī hō jātī hai .
61Then it begins to become adulterated and now, at the end, it has become completely adulterated.
61Ant mē̃ phir bilkul hī vyabhichārī ban jātē haĩ , tab bāp ākar avyabhichārī gyān dētē haĩ .
62Therefore, the Father now comes and gives you this unadulterated knowledge through which you attain salvation.
62Jis gyān sē sadgati hōtī hai , iskā jab tak patā nahī̃ hai tō bhakti K|kē hī ghamaṇḍ mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
63For as long as the devotees don’t know this, they will continue to be proud of their devotion. 64They don't know that only the one Supreme Soul is the Ocean of Knowledge.
63Yah patā nahī̃ hai ki gyān kā sāgar ēk hī paramātmā hai .
65Devotees remember the Vedas and scriptures and recite them.
64Bhakti mē̃ kitnē vēd śhāstra yād kar jabānī bhī sunātē haĩ .
66All of that is the expansion of the path of devotion. 67There is beauty in devotion.
65Yah sab hai bhakti kā vistār . 66Bhakti key|kī śhōbhā hai .
68The Father says: That beauty is like a mirage.
67Bāp kahtē haĩ yah mr̥igatr̥iṣhṇā samān śhōbhā hai .
69It is like sand sparkling like water and shining like silver.
68Vō rēt pānī jaisī dūr sē aisī chamaktī hai jaisē chāndī . 69Hiraṇ kō pyās lagtī hai tō vah us rēt mē̃ bhāgtē-bhāgtē phans jātā hai .
70There is a story of a deer that was thirsty and ran to what it thought was water, but it was just a mirage and the deer became trapped in the sand.
70Bhakti bhī aisē hai , usmē̃ sab phans paṛē haĩ , ussē nikālnē mē̃ bachchō̃ kō mēhnat lagtī hai .
71The path of devotion is the same. 72All are trapped in that. 73It takes a great deal of effort for you children to remove them from that.
71Vighna bhī ismē̃ paṛtē haĩ kyōṅki bāp pavitra banātē haĩ .
74Obstacles are created in this because the Father is making you pure.
72Drōpadī nē bhī pukārā .
75Draupadi too called out to be saved.
73Sārī duniyā mē̃ drōpadiyā̃ aur duryōdhan haĩ .
76There are Draupadis and Duryodhanas in the whole world.
74Aur phir aisē bhī kahē̃gē ki tum sab pārvatiyā̃ hō jō amarkathā sun rahī hō .
77All of you can also be called Parvatis who are listening to the story of immortality.
75Bāp tumkō amarlōk kē liē amar kathā sunā rahē haĩ . 76Yah hai mr̥ityulōk .
78The Father tells you the story of immortality and then sends you to the land of immortality.
77Yahā̃ akālē mr̥iityu hōtī rahtī hai .
79This is the land of death where untimely death takes place.
78Baiṭhē-baiṭhē heartfail hō jātē haĩ .
80Just while sitting somewhere, people have heart failure.
79Tum hospital mē̃ jākar samjhā saktē hō . 80Yahā̃ tumhārī āyu kitnī cum|kam hai , bīmār hō paṛtē hō .
81You can go to the hospitals and explain: Here, you become ill and your lifespan is very short.
81Vahā̃ bīmārī hōgī nahī̃ .
82There will be no sickness there.
82Bhagvānuvāch - apnē kō ātmā samjhō , mujh bāp kō yād karō .
83God speaks: Consider yourself to be a soul and remember Me, your Father.
83Aurō̃ sē mamatva miṭā dō tō tumhārē vikarma vināśh hōṅgē .
84Remove your attachment from all others and your sins will be absolved.
84Phir kabhī bīmār hōṅgē nahī̃ .
85Then you will never become ill.
85Kāl khāyēgā nahī̃ .
86Death will never come to you.
86Āyu bhī baṛī hōgī .
87You will also have a long lifespan.
87In dēvtāō̃ key|kī āyu baṛī thī nā .
88The lifespans of the deities were very long.
88Phir baṛī āyu vālē kahā̃ gayē ?
89So, where did those with those long lifespans go?
89Punarjanma lētē-lētē āyu kam hō jātī hai .
90While continuing to take rebirth their lifespans decreased.
90Yah duḥkh-sukh kā khēl hai , iskō kōī jāntē nahī̃ .
91No one understands this play of happiness and sorrow.
91Mēlē-malākhaṛē ādi kitnē hōtē haĩ .
92They hold so many fairs etc.
92Kumbha K|kē mēlē mē̃ kitnē lōg snān karnē kē liē jākar ikaṭṭhē hōtē haĩ parantu phāydā kuchh bhī nahī̃ .
93Countless people gather to bathe at the great fair (Kumbha mela). 94People bathe every day but they receive no benefit from that.
93Rōz tum snān kartē hō , pānī tō sab jagah sāgar sē hī ātā hai .
95You bathe every day and the water everywhere comes from the ocean.
94Sabsē achchhā pānī tō kuē̃ kā hōtā hai .
96It is said that the best water is from a well.
95Nadiyō̃ mē̃ tō kichṛā paṛtā rahtā hai . 96Kuē̃ kā pānī tō natural śhuddha hōtā hai . 97Tō unsē snān karnā bahut achchhā hōtā hai .
97The rivers are now full of rubbish but the water from a well is naturally clean, and so it is much better to bathe with that water.
98Pahlē yah rivāz thā , ab nadiyō̃ kā rivāj paṛā hai .
98That used to be the system before, but the system now is to bathe in rivers.
99Bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī svachchhatā kō pasand kartē haĩ .
99Those on the path of devotion also like cleanliness.
100Ab paramātmā kō pukārtē haĩ ki ākar hamkō svachchha banāō .
100They now call out to the Supreme Soul to come and clean them.
101Gurunānak nē bhī paramātmā key|kī mahimā gāī hai ki mūt palītī kapaṛ dhōyē … bāp ākar mūt palītī kapṛō̃ kō svachchha banātē haĩ .
101Guru Nanak prayed to the Supreme Soul a great deal, saying: Come and wash the impure clothes. 102The Father comes and cleans the impure clothes, the dirty clothes.
102Yahā̃ bāp ātmā kō svachchha banātē haĩ .
103Here, the Father comes and cleanses souls.
103Vō lōg ātmā kō nirlēp samajhtē haĩ .
104Those people consider souls to be immune to the effect of action.
104Bāp kahtē haĩ - yah hai hī rāvaṇ rājya .
105The Father says: This is the kingdom of Ravan.
105Sr̥iṣhṭi key|kī utartī kalā hai .
106It is the descending stage of the whole world.
106Gāyan bhī hai chaṛhtī kalā tērē bhānē sarv kā bhalā . 107Sarv key|kī sadgati hō jātī hai .
107It has been said that when your stage is ascending, the stage of the whole world is also ascending.
108Hē bābā , āpkē dvārā sabkā bhalā hō jātā hai .
108Everyone receives salvation. 109O Baba, everyone experiences benefit from You.
109Satyug mē̃ sabkā bhalā hōtā hai .
110Everyone in the golden age experiences benefit.
110Vahā̃ sab śhānti mē̃ haĩ , ēk hī rājya hai .
111There, there is only the one kingdom and so everyone is peaceful.
111Us samay aur sab śhāntidhām mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
112At that time, everyone else stays in the land of peace.
112Ab yah lōg māthā mārtē haĩ ki viśhva mē̃ śhānti hō .
113At the moment, people are trying so hard to create peace in the world.
113Unsē pūchhō - āgē kabhī viśhva mē̃ śhānti thī , jō ab phir māṅg rahē hō ? 114Vō phir kah dētē haĩ abhī kaliyug mē̃ 40 hazār varṣh aur paṛē haĩ .
114When you ask them whether there was ever the peace in the world that they are now asking for, they reply that there are still 40,000 years of the iron age left.
115Manuṣhya ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ .
115They are in such immense darkness!
116Kahā̃ 5 hazār varṣh kā sārā kalp , kahā̃ ēk kaliyug K|kē hī 40 hazār varṣh bachē huē batātē haĩ !
116The whole cycle lasts for 5000 years and yet they say that just the iron age still has 40,000 years left.
117Anēk matē haĩ .
117There are so many different ideas.
118Bāp ākar sach batātē haĩ ki janm bhī 84 hī haĩ .
118The Father comes and tells you the truth. 119There are only 84 births.
119Lākhō̃ varṣh hō̃ phir tō manuṣhya jānvar ādi bhī ban saktē haĩ , parantu kāydā hī nahī̃ hai .
120If the cycle were to last for hundreds of thousands of years, human beings would then become like animals etc.
12084 janm manuṣhya kā hī lētē haĩ .
121However, that is not the law; the 84 births are all human births.
121Uskā hisāb-kitāb bhī bāp batlātē haĩ .
122The Father tells you the correct account.
122Yah knowledge tum bachchō̃ kō dhāraṇ karnī hai .
123You children have to imbibe this knowledge.
123R̥iṣhi-muni tō nētī-nētī karkē gayē haĩ arthāt ham nahī̃ jāntē haĩ tō nāstik ṭhaharē .
124The rishis and munis say: Neti, neti, that is, we don’t know Him. 125Therefore, they are atheists.
124Jarūr kōī āstik hōṅgē .
126There must definitely be some who are theists.
125Āstik haĩ dēvtāyē̃ , nāstik haĩ rāvaṇ rājya mē̃ .
127The deities are theists. 128Everyone in the kingdom of Ravan is an atheist.
126Gyān sē tum āstik bantē hō phir 21 janmō̃ kā varsā mil jātā hai .
129By studying this knowledge, you become theists and receive the inheritance for 21 births.
127Phir gyān key|kī darkār nahī̃ rahtī hai .
130Then there is no need for this knowledge.
128Ab puruṣhōttam saṅgamyug hai jabki ham uttam tē uttam puruṣh svarg K|kē mālik ban rahē haĩ .
131This time is the most auspicious confluence age when you become the highest of humans, the masters of heaven.
129Ismē̃ jitnā jō paṛhē̃gē utnā ūñch pad pāyēṅgē .
132You will claim a high status according to how much you study here.
130Paṛhēṅgē-likhēṅgē hōṅgē viśhva K|kē mālik , nahī̃ tō cum|kam pad .
133Those who now study well become the masters of the world. 134Otherwise, the status is less.
131Parantu vah rājāī hai sukh key|kī .
135However, that kingdom is one of happiness anyway.
132Yahā̃ hai duḥkh key|kī .
136Here, there is the kingdom of sorrow.
133Āstik banē haĩ tō sukh key|kī rājāī kartē haĩ .
137Those who now become theists rule the kingdom of happiness.
134Phir rāvaṇ ānē sē nāstik bantē haĩ , tō duḥkh hōtā hai .
138Then, when Ravan comes, they again become atheists and begin to experience sorrow.
135Bhārat jab solvent thā tō athāh dhan thā , sōmnāth kā mandir kitnā bhārī banāyā huā hai .
139When Bharat was solvent, there was limitless wealth. 140Such a huge temple was built to Somnath.
136Mandir banānē kē liē itnē paisē thē tō khud kē pās kitnē paisē hōṅgē !
141If they had that much money to build such a temple at that time, they must have previously had such great wealth.
137Yah itnē paisē kahā̃ sē milē ?
142From where did they receive all of that wealth?
138Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likhā hai - sāgar nē thāliyā̃ bhar-bhar kar dī .
143It has been written in the scriptures that the ocean gave platefuls of jewels.
139Ab gyān sāgar tumkō ratnō̃ key|kī thāliyā̃ bharkar dētē haĩ .
144The Ocean of Knowledge now gives you platefuls of the jewels of this knowledge.
140Ab tumhārī jhōlī bhar rahī hai .
145Your aprons are now being filled.
141Vō śhaṅkar kē āgē jākar kahtē haĩ bhar dō jhōlī , bāp kō jāntē nahī̃ .
146Devotees go in front of Shankar and ask for their aprons to be filled. 147They don't know the Father.
142Ab tum jāntē hō - bāp hamārī jhōlī bhar rahē haĩ .
148You know that the Father is now filling your aprons.
143Jitnā jiskō chāhiē sō bharē .
149Each of you can take as much as you want.
144Jitnā achchhī rīti paṛhē̃gē utnā scholarship milēgī .
150The more you study, the higher the scholarship you will win.
145Chāhē tō ūñch tē ūñch double sirtāj banō , chāhē garīb prajā vā dās-dāsī .
151If you want, you can become the highest of all humans, those with double crowns.
146Bahut haĩ jō fārkatī bhī dē dētē haĩ , yah bhī drama mē̃ nūndh hai .
152Or, if you want, you can become poor subjects or maids or servants.
147Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē kōī phikra nahī̃ .
153There are many who even divorce Baba.
148Maĩ tō phikra sē fārig hū̃ .
154This too is also fixed in the drama.
149Tumkō bhī banā rahā hū̃ .
155The Father says: I have no worries.
150Phikra sē fārig svāmī kīndā satgurū . . . . svāmī jō sabkā bāp hai , unkō mālik bhī kahtē haĩ .
156I am free from all worries and am making you the same. 157It has been said that those who belong to the Lord and Master, the Satguru, have no worries.
151Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ tumhārā bēhad kā teacher bhī hū̃ .
158The Father, who is everyone’s Lord, is also called the Master.
152Bhakti mārg mē̃ tum anēk teachers sē anēk vidyāyē̃ paṛhtē hō . 153Bāp jō tumkō paṛhātē haĩ yah sabsē nyārī knowledge hai .
159The Father says: I am your unlimited Teacher. 160You had many teachers on the path of devotion and you studied many different things.
154Vah hai gyān kā sāgar , jānī jānanhār nahī̃ kahnā .
161The knowledge that the Father teaches you is unique.
155Aisē bahut kahtē haĩ - āp tō hamārē andar kō jāntē hō .
162He is the Ocean of Knowledge, but He shouldn’t be called Janijananhar (the One who knows all secrets).
156Bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ kuchh nahī̃ jāntā hū̃ .
163There are many who say: You know everything that's going on inside us.
157Maĩ tō tum bachchō̃ kō paṛhānē kē liē ātā hū̃ , tum ātmā apnē is takht par virājmān hō .
164The Father says: I don’t know anything. 165I only come to teach you children. 166You souls are sitting on your thrones.
158Maĩ bhī is takht par baiṭhā hū̃ .
167I too am sitting on this throne.
159Ātmā kitnī chhōṭī bindī hai - yah kōī jāntā hī nahī̃ .
168A soul is such a tiny point. 169No one knows this at all.
160Tab bāp kahtē haĩ - pahlē ātmā kō samjhō phir bāp kō samajhē̃gē .
170This is why the Father says: First understand about souls and you will then understand the Father.
161Bāp pahlē-pahlē ātmā kā gyān samjhātē haĩ . 162Phir bāp kā parichay dētē haĩ .
171The Father first explains the knowledge of souls, and then gives the introduction of the Father.
163Bhakti mē̃ sāligrām banāē pūjā kar phir ḵẖalās kar dētē haĩ .
172On the path of devotion they create saligrams, worship them and then destroy them.
164Bāp kahtē haĩ yah sab hai guṛiyō̃ kī pūjā .
173The Father says: All of that is the worship of dolls.
165Jō in sab bātō̃ kō achchhī rīti samajhtē haĩ vah aurō̃ kā bhī kalyāṇ kartē haĩ .
174Those who understand all of these things clearly will also bring benefit to others.
166Bāp bhī kalyāṇkārī hai tō bachchō̃ kō bhī bannā hai .
175The Father is the Benefactor and so you children also have to become the same.
167Kōī tō aurō̃ kō daldal sē nikāltē-nikāltē khud phans martē haĩ . 168Apavitr ban paṛtē haĩ .
176Some went to remove others from the bog, but they themselves became trapped in it; they became impure.
169Key|kī kamāī chaṭ kar dētē haĩ , isliē bāp kahtē haĩ khabardār rahnā .
177All the income they had earned was destroyed. 178This is why the Father says: Be very cautious.
170Kām chitā par baiṭhnē sē hī tum kālē ban paṛē hō .
179By sitting on the pyre of lust, you have become ugly.
171Tum kahē̃gē ham hī gōrē thē , ham hī kālē banē .
180You say: We were beautiful and we have now become ugly.
172Ham hī dēvtā thē , ham hī nīchē utarē .
181We were deities and we were the ones who came down.
173Nahī̃ tō 84 janm kaun lētē haĩ .
182Otherwise, who is it that takes 84 births?
174Yah hisāb bāp samjhātē haĩ .
183The Father explains this account.
175Bachchō̃ kō bahut mēhnat karnī paṛtī hai . 176Ādhākalp sē jō viṣhay sāgar mē̃ paṛē haĩ unsē nikālnā māsī kā ghar nahī̃ hai .
184You children have to make a great deal of effort to remove those who have been drowning for half a cycle in the ocean of poison.
177Agar kōī thōṛā bhī gyān lētē haĩ tō unkā vināśh nahī̃ hōtā hai .
185This is not like going to your aunty's home! 186Even if someone takes a little knowledge, that is never destroyed.
178Yah kathā hai hī satya nārāyaṇ bannē key|kī , phir prajā bhī bantī hai .
187This is the story of becoming a true Narayan. 188Subjects are also created as well.
179Thōṛā samajhkar chalē jātē haĩ , hō saktā hai phir ākar samajhē̃ .
189Those who left after taking even a little knowledge will return later to understand more.
180Āgē chalkar manuṣhyō̃ mē̃ vairāgya bhī hōgā .
190As time goes by, people will develop disinterest.
181Jaisē śhmaśhān mē̃ vairāgya ātā hai , bāhar nikalē tō khalās .
191People have disinterest when they go to a cremation ground. 192However, when they leave, their disinterest vanishes.
182Tum bhī jab samjhātē hō , achchhā-achchhā kartē haĩ , bāhar gayē khalās .
193When you explain to them, they say that it’s very good, but when they go outside, everything finishes.
183Kahtē haĩ yah kām utārkar āyēṅgē .
194They say that they’ll come back when they finish their work.
184Bāhar jānē sē māyā māthā mūṛ lētī hai .
195However, when they go outside, Maya turns their faces away.
185Kōṭō mē̃ kōī nikaltā hai .
196A handful emerges out of millions.
186Rājāī pad pānā - ismē̃ mēhnat lagtī hai .
197It takes effort to claim a royal status.
187Har ēk dil sē pūchhē - bēhad K|kē bāp kō ham kitnā yād kartē haĩ ?
198Each of you should ask your own heart: To what extent do I remember the unlimited Father?
188Kahtē haĩ bāp kī yād bhūl jātī hai .
199You say that remembrance of the Father is forgotten.
189Arē , agyān kāl mē̃ kabhī aisē kahtē haĩ ki hamkō bāp bhūl jātā hai .
200Oho! 201When you followed the path of ignorance, did you ever say that you forgot your father?
190Bābā kahtē haĩ bhal kitnē bhī tūphān āyē̃ tumkō hilnā nahī̃ hai .
202Baba says: No matter how many storms come, you must not shake.
191Tūphān āyēgā , sirph karmēndriyō̃ sē karma nahī̃ karnā .
203Storms will come, but you must not do anything wrong through your sense organs.
192Kahtē haĩ - bābā , māyā nē jādū lagā diyā .
204They say: Baba, Maya cast a spell on us.
193Bābā kahtē haĩ - mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchē , yād karō tō kaṭ nikal jāyēgī .
205Baba says: Sweetest children, stay in remembrance and your rust will be removed.
194Ātmā par kaṭ ( junk ) chaṛhtī hai , vah nikalēgī yād sē .
206The rust that has accumulated on souls can only be removed by your having remembrance.
195Bāp bhī bindī hai .
207Baba is a bindi, a dot.
196Sivāē bāp kī yād K|kē aur kōī upāya nahī̃ kaṭ utārnē kā .
208There is no way to remove the rust other than by remembering the Father.
197Achchhā !
209Achcha.
198Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .
210To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.
199Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .
211The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
Essence for dharna
200Dhārṇā kē liē mukhya sār :
212Essence for dharna:
2011 ) kalyāṇkārī bāp K|kē ham bachchē haĩ isliē apnā aur sarv kā kalyāṇ karnā hai .
213 1. You are the children of the Benefactor Father. 214Therefore, you must benefit yourself and others.
202Kōī aisā karma na hō jō key|kī kamāī khatm hō jāē ismē̃ khabardār rahnā hai .
215Be careful that you do not perform any actions that would finish everything you have accumulated.
2032 ) paṛhāī achchhī tarah sē paṛhkar gyān ratnō̃ sē apnī jhōlī bharpūr karnī hai .
216 2. Study well and fill your aprons with the jewels of this knowledge.
204Scholarship lēnē kā puruṣhārth karnā hai .
217Make effort to claim a scholarship.
205Bāp samān phikra sē fārig , niśhchinta rahnā hai .
218Remain free from worry and stay carefree, the same as the Father.
Blessing
206Vardān : mahsūstā śhakti dvārā purānē svabhāv , saṅskār sē nyārā bannē vālē māyājīt bhav
219Blessing: May you remain detached from your old nature and sanskars with the power of realisation and become a conqueror of Maya.
207Is purānī dēh K|kē svabhāv aur saṅskār bahut kaṛē haĩ jō māyājīt bannē mē̃ baṛā vighna rūp bantē haĩ .
220 The nature and sanskars of your old body are very harsh and they create a big obstruction to your becoming a conqueror of Maya.
208Svabhāv-sanskār rūpī sāmp khatm bhī hō jātā hai lēkin lakīr rah jātī hai jō samay ānē par bār-bār dhōkhā dē dētī hai . 209Kaī bār māyā K|kē itnā vaśhībhūt hō jātē jō wrong kō wrong bhī nahī̃ samajhtē .
221Even when the snake of your old nature and sanskars is destroyed, its lineage still remains and it deceives you when the time comes. 222Sometimes, you are so influenced by Maya that you don’t even consider something wrong to be wrong; you are influenced by external things.
210Parvaśh hō jātē haĩ isliē check karō aur mahsūstā śhakti dvārā purānē chhipē huē svabhāv saṅskār sē nyārē banō tab māyājīt banē̃gē .
223This is why you have to check yourself and use the power of realisation to become detached from any old, hidden nature or sanskars and you will then become a conqueror of Maya.
