Question
2Praśhna : kis smr̥iti mē̃ sadā rahō tō daivīguṇ dhāraṇ hōtē rahē̃gē ?
2Question: What awareness should you constantly have so that you are able to imbibe divine virtues?
Answer
3Uttar : ham ātmā śhivbābā key|kī santān haĩ , bābā hamē̃ kāṇṭō̃ sē fool|phūl banānē āyē haĩ - yahī smr̥iti sadā rahē tō daivīguṇ dhāraṇ hōtē rahē̃gē .
3Answer: We souls are Shiv Baba’s children. 4The Father has come to change us from thorns into flowers. 5Constantly maintain this awareness and you will be able to imbibe divine virtues. 6Pay full attention to studying and to yoga.
4Paṛhāī aur yōg par pūrā dhyān rahē , vikārō̃ sē naphrat hō tō daivīguṇ ātē jāyēṅgē .
7When you have distaste for the vices you will be able to imbibe divine virtues.
5Jis samay kōī vikār war|vār karē tō samajhnā chāhiē - maĩ kāṇṭā hū̃ , mujhē tō fool|phūl bannā hai .
8Whenever a vice attacks you, remember that you are a thorn and that you have to become a flower.
Murli
6Ōm śhānti .
9Om shanti.
7Bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ hai ki ham rūhānī university mē̃ baiṭhē haĩ .
10It is in the intellects of you children that you are sitting in a spiritual university.
8Yah naśhā hōnā chāhiē .
11You should have this intoxication.
9Ordinary rīti school mē̃ jaisē baiṭhtē haĩ , aisē yahā̃ buddhū hōkar nahī̃ baiṭhnā hai .
12You should not sit here like fools, as you would ordinarily sit in a school.
10Bahut bachchē jaisē buddhū hōkar baiṭhtē haĩ .
13Many children sit here like fools.
11Yād rahnā chāhiē - yah ūñch tē ūñch parampitā paramātmā key|kī university hai . 12Unkē ham student haĩ .
14You should remember that this is the university of the Highest on High, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, and that we are His students.
13Tō tumhārē mē̃ kitnī falak hōnī chāhiē .
15Therefore, you should have so much spiritual intoxication.
14Yah hai gupta khuśhī , gupta gyān .
16This is incognito happiness, incognito knowledge.
15Har ēk bāt gupta hai .
17Every aspect is incognito.
16Kaiyō̃ kō yahā̃ baiṭhē bhī bāhar K|kē gandē khyālāt ātē rahtē haĩ .
18Many of you, even while sitting here, have dirty thoughts of outside.
17Yahā̃ tum paṛhtē hō bhaviṣhya naī duniyā kā varsā pānē kē liē .
19You are studying here in order to claim your inheritance of the future new world.
18Tō tumkō kitnī khuśhī hōnī chāhiē . 19Daivīguṇ bhī hōnē chāhiē .
20Therefore, you should have so much happiness and also have divine virtues as well.
20Bhal yahā̃ sab brāhmaṇ hī ātē haĩ . 21Vahā̃ key|kī kichaṛpaṭṭī sē tō tum nikalkar yahā̃ ātē hō .
21Only Brahmins come here. 22You have left all the dirty rubbish outside and come here. 23Therefore, you children should remain in great happiness.
22Tō tum bachchō̃ kō kitnā khuśhī mē̃ rahnā chāhiē .
24At this time the whole world is sitting in rubbish.
23Sārī duniyā is samay ganda mē̃ paṛī hai . 24Kahā̃ kaliyugī ganda , kahā̃ satyugī phulvāṛī .
25There is a difference between the rubbish of the iron age and the flower garden of the golden age.
25Kaliyug mē̃ ēk-dō kō kāṇṭē lagātē rahtē haĩ .
26In the iron age they continue to prick one another.
26Tumkō tō ab fool|phūl bannā hai .
27You now have to become flowers.
27Tō kitnī khuśhī rahnī chāhiē .
28Therefore, you should have a great deal of happiness.
28Ham ab fool|phūl bantē haĩ .
29We are now becoming flowers.
29Yah bagīchā hai .
30This is a garden.
30Bāp kō bāgvān kahā jātā hai .
31The Father is called the Master of the Garden.
31Bāgvān ākar kāṇṭō̃ kō fool|phūl banātē haĩ .
32The Master of the Garden comes and changes us thorns into flowers.
32Yah tō bachchō̃ kō samajh hōnī chāhiē ki ham kis prakār kā fool|phūl ban rahē haĩ .
33You children should understand what kind of flowers you are becoming.
33Yahā̃ bagīchā bhī hai .
34Here, there is also a garden.
34Murlī sunkar phir bagīchē mē̃ jākar phūlō̃ sē apnī bhēṇṭ karō . 35Ham kaun-sā fool|phūl haĩ ! 36Ham kāṇṭē tō nahī̃ haĩ ?
35After hearing the murli, go into the garden and compare yourself to the flowers and ask yourself what kind of flower you are or whether you are still a thorn.
37Jis samay krōdh ātā hai tō samajhnā chāhiē ki maĩ kāṇṭā hū̃ , mērē mē̃ bhūt hai .
36When you become angry, you should realise that you are a thorn and that you still have that evil spirit in you.
38Itnī naphrat ānī chāhiē .
37You should have so much distaste.
39Krōdh tō sabkē bīch mē̃ ā jātā hai . 40Kām tō sabkē bīch mē̃ hō na sakē . 41Vah tō chhipākar kartē haĩ .
38Anger can show itself in front of many, but one cannot indulge in vice in front of everyone, because that’s done secretly.
42Krōdh tō bāhar mē̃ nikal paṛtā hai .
39Anger emerges externally.
43Krōdh kartē haĩ tō uskā asar bhī thōṛā din chaltā hai .
40When someone gets angry, the effect of that lasts for a few days.
44Krōdh kā bhī naśhā hai , lōbh kā bhī naśhā haĩ .
41There is the influence of anger and there is also the influence of greed.
45Apnē sē āpēhī naphrat ānī chāhiē .
42You should have distaste for yourself.
46Tum samajhtē hō hamkō bābā fool|phūl banātē haĩ .
43You understand that Baba is making you into flowers.
47Kām aur krōdh bahut gandā hai .
44Lust and anger are very dirty.
48Manuṣhya key|kī sārī śhōbhā hī ganvā dētē haĩ .
45They ruin all the beauty of human beings.
49Yahā̃ śhōbhā dikhāyēṅgē tab vahā̃ bhī śhōbhā pāyēṅgē .
46It is only when you show this beauty here that you will attain beauty there.
50Bābā rōz bachchō̃ kō samjhātē rahtē haĩ ki daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karō . 51Svarg mē̃ chalnā hai nā .
47The Father explains to you children every day that you should imbibe divine virtues because you are to go to heaven.
52Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kitnē guṇvān haĩ .
48Just look how virtuous Lakshmi and Narayan are.
53Mahimā bhī inkē āgē jākar gātē haĩ - ham nīñch , pāpī , kāmī haĩ . 54Āp sarvguṇ sampann hō .
49People go in front of them and sing the praise: We are degraded sinners and you are full of all virtues.
55Tum samjhātē bhī hō svarg hai phūlō̃ kā bagīchā aur nark hai kāṇṭō̃ kā jaṅgal .
50You also explain that heaven is a garden of flowers whereas hell is a forest of thorns.
56Śhivbābā svarg sthāpan kartē , rāvaṇ nark banātē haĩ .
51Shiv Baba establishes heaven whereas Ravan creates hell.
57Vichār karnā chāhiē ham ātmā bāp key|kī santān haĩ . 58Hamārē mē̃ gand kahā̃ sē āyā ?
52You should think: I am a child of the Father, and so how did rubbish enter me?
59Agar gand hōgā tō bāp kā nām badnām karē̃gē .
53If you have rubbish within you, you defame the Father’s name.
60Krōdh karē̃gē tō gōyā bāp key|kī nindā karāyēṅgē .
54If you get angry, it means you defame the Father.
61Krōdh kā bhūt āyā aur bāp kō bhūlē .
55When the evil spirit of anger enters you, you forget the Father.
62Bāp kī yād hō tō kōī bhī bhūt āyē hī nahī̃ .
56When you remember the Father, no evil spirit can enter you.
63Agar kisī key|kī dil kō duḥkh pahuñchātē haĩ tō vah bhī asar paṛ jātā hai .
57If you hurt someone’s heart, that effect also remains.
64Ēk bār krōdh kiyā tō 6 mās tak sabkī buddhi mē̃ rahtā hai ki yah krōdhī hai .
58If you become angry even once, it remains in the intellects of others for six months that you are an angry person.
65Phir dil sē utar jātā hai .
59You then come out of their heart.
66Bāpdādā key|kī dil sē bhī utar jātā hai .
60That soul comes down from BapDada’s heart-throne.
67Yah dādā bhī viśhva kā mālik bantē haĩ , ismē̃ bhī jarūr khūbiyā̃ hōṅgī .
61This Dada becomes the master of the world. 62He must also surely have many specialities.
68Parantu kōī key|kī takdīr mē̃ nahī̃ hai tō tadvīr kartē nahī̃ .
63However, if it is not in someone’s fortune, he does not make effort.
69Kitnī sahaj tadvīr hai , sirph bāp kō yād karō tō ātmā svachchha ban jāyēgī .
64It is such easy effort. 65Just remember the Father and the soul will become clean.
70Aur kōī upāya nahī̃ hai .
66There is no other way.
71Is samay rājr̥iṣhi tō kōī hai nahī̃ , rājyōg sikhlānē vālā ēk hī bāp hai .
67At this time, there are no Raj Rishis. 68There is only the one Father who teaches you Raja Yoga.
72Manuṣhya , manuṣhya kō sudhār na sakē̃ .
69Human beings cannot reform human beings.
73Bāp ākar sabkō sudhārtē haĩ .
70The Father comes and reforms everyone.
74Jō bilkul achchhī tarah sudhar jātē haĩ , vah satyug mē̃ pahlē-pahlē ātē haĩ .
71Those who become completely reformed are the first ones to enter the golden age.
75Tō kōī bhī gandī ādat hai tō chhōṛnī chāhiē .
72If you have any dirty habits, you should renounce them.
76Paṛhāī par , yōg par pūrā dhyān dēnā chāhiē .
73You should pay full attention to this study and to yoga.
77Yah bhī jāntē haĩ sab tō ēk jaisē ūñch nahī̃ banē̃gē .
74You also know that not all of you can become elevated to the same extent.
78Parantu bāp tō purūṣhārth karāyēṅgē .
75However, the Father inspires you to make effort.
79Jitnā hō sakē purūṣhārth kar ūñch pad pāō .
76Make effort to whatever extent you can and claim a high status.
80Nahī̃ tō kalp-kalpāntar nahī̃ pā sakē̃gē .
77Otherwise, you won’t be able to attain that for cycle after cycle.
81Bābā bār-bār samjhātē rahtē haĩ ki bāp kō yād karō tō kichṛā nikal jāyē .
78Baba repeatedly explains to you: Remember the Father and your rubbish will be removed.
82Vah sannyāsī tō haṭhyōg sikhlātē haĩ .
79Those sannyasis teach hatha yoga.
83Aisē mat samajhnā ki haṭhyōg sē tandurūstī achchhī hōtī hai , vah kabhī bīmār nahī̃ paṛtē .
80Don’t think that you can improve your health by doing hatha yoga or that you will never fall ill.
84Nahī̃ , vah bhī bīmār paṛtē haĩ .
81No, they also fall ill.
85Bhārat mē̃ jab lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya thā tō sabkī āyu baṛī thī , healthy-wealthy thē .
82When it was the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan in Bharat, everyone had a long lifespan and they were healthy and wealthy.
86Ab tō sab bilkul chhōṭī āyu vālē haĩ .
83However, the lifespan of everyone now is very short.
87Bhārat kō aisā kisnē banāyā ? 88Yah kōī jāntē nahī̃ .
84No one knows who made Bharat like that.
89Bilkul ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ .
85People are in immense darkness.
90Tum kitnā bhī samjhāō parantu unhō̃ kō samjhānā baṛā muśhkil hai .
86No matter how much you explain, it is very difficult for them to understand.
91Phir bhī garīb sādhāraṇ hī samajhnē key|kī kōśhiśh kartē haĩ .
87It is poor, ordinary people who try to understand.
92Yahā̃ kōī lakhpati hai kyā ?
88Is there anyone here who is a millionaire?
93Āj kā lākh bhī baṛī bāt nahī̃ hai .
89Today, a million is not a big thing.
94Āj lakhpati tō bahut haĩ .
90There are many millionaires now.
95Unhē̃ bhī bābā sādhāraṇ kahtē haĩ .
91Baba also calls them ordinary.
96Āj tō karōṛpati key|kī bāt hai .
92Today, it is question of being a billionaire.
97Śhādiyō̃ par bhī kitnā kharchā kartē haĩ .
93They spend so much money on wedding ceremonies.
98Tum bachchō̃ kō baṛā yukti sē samjhānā hai jō kiskō tīr lag jāē .
94You children have to explain in such a clever way that the arrow strikes the target.
99Baṛē-baṛē ādmī kōī aim|M|am . pī|P . ādi ātē haĩ tō bahut khuśh hōtē haĩ . 100Parantu ēk mē̃ bhī tākat nahī̃ jō āvāj kar sakē .
95When an important MP etc. comes, they become very pleased, yet not even one of them has the power to spread the sound.
101Tum samjhātē hō parantu yathārth pūrā samajhkar nahī̃ jātē haĩ .
96Although you explain to them, they don’t understand everything fully.
102Ūñch tē ūñch bhagvān , ūñch tē ūñch yah varsā .
97God is the Highest on High and this is the highest-on-high inheritance.
103Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō kisnē yah svarg kā varsā diyā ? 104Yah kahā̃ K|kē rahvāsī haĩ ?
98Many don’t know who gave Lakshmi and Narayan this inheritance of heaven or where they reside.
105Yah bahutō̃ kō patā nahī̃ paṛtā hai .
99Many go to the museum in order to understand.
106Museum mē̃ ātē bahut haĩ , samajhnē kē liē . 107Sēvā kā chance achchhā hai parantu yōg hai nahī̃ .
100There is a very good chance for you to do service, but you don’t have yoga.
108Bāp kō yād karē̃ tō praphullatā bhī āyē .
101If you remembered the Father, you would be cheerful.
109Ham kiskī santān haĩ .
102Whose child am I?
110Kitnē bachchē kāydēsir paṛhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
103Many children don’t study with discipline.
111Bāp sē yōg hai nahī̃ .
104They do not have yoga with the Father.
112Sampūrṇ tō kōī banā nahī̃ hai . 113Number-vār haĩ .
105No one has yet become complete; they are numberwise.
114Bachchō̃ kō ēkānt mē̃ baiṭh bāp kō yād karnā hai .
106You children should sit in solitude and remember the Father.
115Aisē bāp sē ham svarg kā varsā pātē haĩ .
107We are claiming our inheritance of heaven from such a Father.
116Is duniyā mē̃ ham hī sabsē patit banē haĩ , phir hamkō hī pāvan bannā hai .
108We are the most impure ones in this world and we are the ones who have to become pure again.
117Yah achchhī rīti yād karnā hai .
109Remember this very well.
118Bāp her|har prakār key|kī rāy tō dētē haĩ - aisē-aisē karō .
110The Father continues to give advice on many things: Do this and this.
119Jaisē queen Victoria kā vajīr garīb thā , road key|kī light par ( battī par ) paṛh-paṛh kar ūñch pad pā liyā .
111The adviser of Queen Victoria had been poor. 112He studied extremely hard under a street light and attained a high status.
120Śhauk thā .
113He had that interest.
121Yah bhī garībō̃ kē liē hai .
114This too is for poor people.
122Bāp hai garīb nivāj .
115The Father is the Lord of the Poor.
123Sāhūkār kyā bhagvān kō yād kar sakē̃gē .
116How can wealthy ones remember God?
124Kahē̃gē hamārē liē tō svarg yahā̃ hī hai .
117They say: For us, it is heaven here. 118Oh!
125Arē , bābā nē svarg key|kī sthāpanā key|kī nahī̃ hai . 126Ab kar rahē haĩ .
119But Baba has not yet established heaven; He is doing that now, so you must remember the Father.
127Bāp kō yād karō , pāvan tō jarūr bannā hai .
120You definitely have to become pure.
128Bachchō̃ kō yukti rachnī hai - kaisē kiskō samjhāyē̃ ki bhārat kā prāchīn yōg sivāē parampitā paramātmā K|kē kōī sikhlā nahī̃ saktē .
121You children should invent methods to make people understand that no one but the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, can teach the ancient yoga of Bharat.
129Haṭhyōg hai nivr̥itti mārg vālō̃ kē liē .
122Hatha yoga is for those on the path of isolation.
130Bāp samjhātē rahtē haĩ jab kiskā kalyāṇ hōnā hōgā tō phir likhē̃gē bhī aisē .
123The Father continues to explain that when someone has to be benefited, he would write his opinion accordingly.
131Abhī dērī hai tō kiskī buddhi mē̃ ātā nahī̃ hai .
124However, if it is not yet time for his upliftment, it will not enter his intellect.
132Tumhārī hai yah īśhvarīy mission .
125Yours is the Godly mission.
133Tumhē̃ manuṣhyō̃ kō dēvtā banānē key|kī sēvā karnī hai .
126You have to do the service of making human beings into deities.
134Duniyā mē̃ tō anēk prakār key|kī matē̃ nikaltī rahtī haĩ , tō unkā kitnā show hōtā hai .
127Many different opinions continue to emerge in the world and there is a great deal of show of those.
135Andhaśhraddhā kitnī hai .
128There is so much blind faith!
136Rāt-din kā fark hai .
129There is the difference of day and night.
137Tum brāhmaṇō̃ mē̃ bhī rāt-din kā fark hai .
130Even amongst you Brahmins, there is the difference of day and night.
138Kōī tō kuchh bhī jāntē nahī̃ .
131Some of you don’t understand anything.
139Hai bahut sahaj , apnē kō ātmā samjhō , bāp kō yād karō tō pāp kaṭ jāyēṅgē .
132It’s very easy if you just consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father, your sins will then be cut away.
140Daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karō tō aisē ban jāyēṅgē .
133Imbibe divine virtues and you will become deities.
141Ḍhiṇḍhōrā piṭvātē rahō .
134Continue to beat the drum.
142Dēh-abhimān na hō tō ḍhōlak galē mē̃ ḍāl sabkō batātē rahō ki bāp āyā hai .
135If you don’t have body consciousness, you can carry a drum around your neck.
143Kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō tō tum patit sē pāvan ban jāyēṅgē . 144Yah ghar-ghar mē̃ sandēśh dēnā hai .
136You can beat it and tell everyone that the Father has come and that He says: Remember Me alone and you will become pure from impure.
145Sabhī par kaṭ ( junk ) chaṛhī huī hai .
137You should give this message to every home.
146Tamōpradhān duniyā hai , sabkō bāp kā paigām jarūr pahuñchānā hai .
138Everyone has become rusty. 139This whole world is tamopradhan.
147Pichhāṛī mē̃ tumhārī vāh-vāh nikalēgī .
140You definitely have to give everyone the Father's message.
148Kahē̃gē kamāl hai inhō̃ key|kī !
141In the end, your name will be glorified.
149Itnā jagāyā parantu ham jagē nahī̃ .
142They will say: It is a wonder how they tried to wake us up, but we didn’t wake up.
150Jō jagē unhōnnē pāyā , jō sōyē unhōnnē khōyā .
143Those who remained asleep lost and those who awakened gained.
151Bāp bādśhāhī dēnē ātē haĩ phir bhī khō lētē haĩ .
144The Father comes to give you the kingdom and yet you lose it.
152Service key|kī yuktiyā̃ rachnī chāhiē .
145You should invent ways of doing service.
153Bāp āyā hai kahtē haĩ māmēkam yād karō tō vikarma vināśh hōṅgē , pavitra ban pavitra duniyā kā mālik ban jāyēṅgē .
146The Father has now come and He says: Remember Me alone and your sins will be absolved. 147Become pure and you will become the masters of the pure world.
154Yād nahī̃ karē̃gē tō pāp kaṭē̃gē nahī̃ .
148If you don't have remembrance, your sins can’t be cut away.
155Kōī bhī kaṭ na rahē tab ūñch pad pā saktē hō .
149Only when no rust remains will you be able to attain a high status.
156Nahī̃ tō pad bhī cum|kam , sajāyē̃ bhī khāyēṅgē .
150Otherwise, you will have to experience punishment and attain a low status.
157Service key|kī achchhī margin hai . 158Chitra sāth mē̃ lē jānē sē service kar sakē̃gē .
151There is plenty of margin for service to be done; carry posters around with you for service.
159Chitra aisē achchhī rīti banānē chāhiē jō kharāb na hō̃ .
152You should make the pictures in such a way that they can’t be spoilt.
160Yah chitra bahut achchhī chīj haĩ . 161Bākī models tō khilaunē haĩ .
153These pictures are very good, whereas the models are just like toys.
162Baṛē-baṛē ādamiyō̃ K|kē baṛē-baṛē chitra hōtē haĩ .
154There are many portraits of important people. 155They last for thousands of years.
163Hazārō̃ varṣh bhī chaltē haĩ .
156In fact, for you, six posters are enough.
164Tumhārē yah 6 chitra kāphī haĩ . 165Bōlō , yah sr̥iṣhṭi kā chakra kaisē phirtā hai - ham āpkō samjhāyēṅgē .
157Go and explain to them how the world cycle turns and how, by remembering the cycle, you become the rulers of the globe.
166Is chakra kō yād karnē sē tum chakravartī rājā banē̃gē . 167Badge bhī bahut achchhā hai .
158The badge too is very good, but you children don't have value for the badge.
168Parantu inkī value bachchō̃ kē pās nahī̃ hai .
159Continue to explain this and you can earn a lot of income.
169Is par bhī tum samjhātē rahō tō bhī tumhārī kamāī bahut hōgī . 170Yah badge tō aisā hai jō chhātī sē laṭakā rahē .
160This badge is such that you can keep it pinned on your chest and explain: This is Baba and He gives you your inheritance through this Brahma.
171Yah bābā is brahmā dvārā yah varsā dētē haĩ .
161You can even do service on trains. 162Even small children can do this; no one would object.
172Train mē̃ bhī chakra lagātē yah samjhātē rahō . 173Chhōṭē bachchē bhī kar saktē haĩ .
163This badge is such that everything is merged in it: diamonds, pearls, flowers, fruit and palaces.
174Tumkō kōī manā nahī̃ kar saktē .
164However, this doesn’t enter the children's intellects.
175Yah badge aisī chīz hai , hīrē-javāhar , phal-phūl , mahal sab kuchh ismē̃ merge hai .
165Baba has told you so many times that you must take the pictures with you.
176Parantu bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hai .
166Yes, people will criticise you. 167Shri Krishna received insults too.
177Bābā nē bahut bārī samjhāyā hai - chitra sāth mē̃ jarūr hō .
168It was said that he abducted women, but he made them into empresses, did he not?
178Tumkō kōī ulṭā-sulṭā bhī bōlē̃gē .
169How could someone who becomes the master of the world do such things?
179Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kō bhī gālī milī nā - bhagātē thē , yah kartē thē .
170You should have a great deal of intoxication on this path of knowledge.
180Lēkin unkō bhī paṭrānī banāyā nā .
171We want destruction to take place soon.
181Viśhva kā mālik bankar phir aisē kām thōṛēhī karē̃gē . 182Is gyān mē̃ naśhā bahut hōnā chāhiē .
172However, you then say: Oh! 173Our Baba is with us; if we leave Baba now, it will only be after 5000 years that we will find Baba again.
183Ham chāhtē haĩ jaldī vināśh hō jāē .
174How could we leave such a Baba? 175We are now studying with Baba.
184Phir kahtē haĩ abhī tō bābā sāth hai .
176This Brahmin birth is your highest birth.
185Bābā kō chhōṛ dēgē tō phir bābā 5 hajār varṣh kē bād milēgā .
177He is such a Father that He is giving us a kingdom. 178We will not meet Him again.
186Aisē bābā kō ham kaisē chhōḍē̃ . 187Bābā sē tō ham paṛhtē rahē̃ . 188Yah hai brāhmaṇō̃ kā ūñchē tē ūñchā janm .
179However, it is said that those who live on the banks of the Ganges don't appreciate it as much as those who live elsewhere.
189Aisā bāp jō hamkō rājāī dē rahā hai , phir tō ham unsē milē̃gē nahī̃ .
180Others give so much importance to it. 181Here, too, outsiders sacrifice themselves to Baba.
190Parantu gaṅgā par rahnē vālō̃ kō itnā kadar nahī̃ rahtā . 191Bāhar vālē kitnā mahatva rakhtē haĩ . 192Yahā̃ bhī bāhar vālē kurbān jātē haĩ .
182However, if you don’t have any power of yoga, then, whatever you explain to others will have no effect: they won’t understand anything.
193Agar yōg kā bal nahī̃ hai tō kisī par bhī samjhānē kā asar nahī̃ hōtā , kuchh bhī samajhtē nahī̃ .
183Many children come here, or they write and say that they explained to others in this way and that they said it was very good.
194Ātē bahut haĩ , likhtē haĩ aisē-aisē samjhāyā , kahtē haĩ bahut achchhā hai . 195Bābā samajhtē haĩ sunā aisē jaisē sunā hī nahī̃ .
184However, Baba understands that, although those people listened, they heard nothing, that they understood nothing at all!
196Jarā bhī samjhā nahī̃ .
185They didn’t even recognise the Father.
197Bāp kō hī nahī̃ jānā hai . 198Agar kuchh samajhē tō aisē bāp sē connection tō rakhē , chiṭṭhī likhē .
186If they had understood something, they would keep a connection with the Father and at least write a letter.
199Jhaṭ tumsē pūchhē ki tum aisē bāp kō chiṭṭhī kaisē likhtē hō , batāō .
187They would instantly ask you: Tell me how you would write a letter to such a Father!
200Śhivbābā care of brahmā .
188The letter should be written to Shiv Baba c/o Brahma.
201Ēkdam likhnē lag paṛē . 202Yah tō rath hai nā .
189They would have written immediately to Baba.
203Parantu jyādā kīmat tō unkī hai jō ismē̃ pravēśh kartē haĩ .
190This one, Brahma, is Shiv Baba's chariot; the most valuable one is the One who enters this one.
204Service kartē-kartē bahut bachchō̃ K|kē galē thak jātē haĩ .
191The throats of many children become tired when they do service.
205Parantu yōg nahī̃ hai tō tīr nahī̃ lagtā hai .
192Because they have no yoga, their arrows don't strike anyone.
206Iskō bhī drama kahē̃gē .
193This is called the drama.
207Bābā kō jān liyā tō phir bābā sē milnē bigar rah nahī̃ sakē̃gē .
194If they understood who Baba is, they wouldn’t be able to stay without meeting Him.
208Train mē̃ bhī yōgyukt hō āyē̃ , ham jātē haĩ bābā kē pās .
195You can travel by train while being yogyukt: I am going to Baba.
209Jaisē vilāyat sē ātē haĩ tō strī , bāl bachchē sab yād ātē haĩ .
196When people return home from abroad, they remember their wives and children. 197So, who is it you come here to see?
210Yah tō ham kiskē pās|pass jātē haĩ !
198On the way here, you should be so happy.
211Tō rāstē mē̃ kitnī khuśhī hōnī chāhiē .
199Do service on the way. 200Baba is the Ocean.
212Service kartē-kartē ānā chāhiē . 213Bābā hai sāgar , dēkhtē haĩ bachchē follow kar rahē haĩ .
201When He sees that you children are following Him and that waves of knowledge are emerging in you, He becomes very pleased.
214Gyān key|kī laharē̃ uṭhtī haĩ tō dēkh-kar khuśh hōtē haĩ .
202He thinks: This one is a very good, worthy child.
215Yah tō bahut achchhā sapūt bachchā hai . 216Savērē yād kī yātrā mē̃ bahut phāydā hai .
203You can receive a lot of benefit on this pilgrimage of remembrance in the early hours of the morning.
217Aisē bhī nahī̃ , sirph subah kō yād karnā hai .
204It shouldn’t be that you only remember Baba in the morning.
218Uṭhtē-baiṭhtē khātē-pītē yād kiyā , service key|kī tō tum yātrā par hō .
205If you stay in remembrance and do service while walking, talking and eating, you are then on the pilgrimage of remembrance.
219Achchhā !
206Achcha.
220Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .
207To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.
221Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .
208The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
Essence for dharna
222Dhārṇā kē liē mukhya sār :
209Essence for dharna:
2231 ) kisī key|kī dil kō duḥkhī nahī̃ karnā hai .
210 1. Don't hurt anyone's heart.
224Andar kōī bhī bhūt hai tō jāñch karkē usē nikālnā hai , fool|phūl ban sabkō sukh dēnā hai .
211Check to see if there is an evil spirit inside you and remove it if there is. 212Become a flower and give everyone happiness.
2252 ) ham gyān sāgar K|kē bachchē haĩ tō andar gyān key|kī laharē̃ sadā uṭhtī rahē̃ .
213 2. You are children of the Ocean of Knowledge and so waves of knowledge should constantly emerge in you.
226Service key|kī yuktiyā̃ rachnī haĩ , train mē̃ bhī service karnī hai . 227Sāth-sāth pāvan bannē kē liē yād kī yātrā par bhī rahnā hai .
214Invent ways of doing service. 215You have to serve on the trains and also stay on the pilgrimage of remembrance to become pure.
Blessing
228Vardān : yād aur sēvā K|kē balance dvārā bāp key|kī madad kā anubhav karnē vālē blessing key|kī pātr ātmā bhav
216Blessing: May you become a soul who is worthy of experiencing the Father’s help and receiving blessings by keeping a balance of remembrance and service.
229Jahā̃ yād aur sēvā kā balance arthāt samāntā hai vahā̃ bāp key|kī viśhēṣh madad anubhav hōtī hai .
217 When you keep a balance of remembrance and service, that is, when there is equality of the two, you especially experience the Father’s help.
230Yah madad hī āśhīrvād hai kyōṅki bāpdādā anya ātmāō̃ K|kē muāphik āśhīrvād nahī̃ dētē .
218This help becomes blessings because BapDada does not give blessings in the same way as other souls do.
231Bāp tō hai hī aśharīrī , tō bāpdādā key|kī āśhīrvād hai sahaj , svataḥ madad milnā jissē jō asambhav bāt hai vah sambhav hō jāē .
219The Father is bodiless and so you receive BapDada’s blessings and His help easily and naturally through which impossible things become possible.
232Yahī madad arthāt āśhīrvād hai .
220This help means to receive blessings.
233Aisī āśhīrvād key|kī pātr ātmāyē̃ hō jō ēk kadam mē̃ padamō̃ key|kī kamāī jamā hō jātī hai .
221You are souls who are so worthy of such blessings that you earn an income of multimillions at every step of yours.
