Question
2Praśhna : ūñchē tē ūñchā patit-pāvan bāp bhōlānāth kaisē hai ?
4Question: How is the highest-on-high Purifier Father the Innocent Lord?
Answer
3Uttar : tum bachchē unhē̃ chāval muṭṭhī dē mahal lē lētē hō , isliē hī bāp kō bhōlānāth kahā jātā hai .
5Answer: You children give Him a handful of rice and claim a palace in return and this is why the Father is called the Innocent Lord. 6You say: Shiv Baba is my Child. 7He is such a Child that He never takes anything from you, but constantly gives to you.
4Tum kahtē hō śhivbābā hamārā bēṭā hai , vah bēṭā aisā hai jō kabhī kuchh lētā nahī̃ , sadā hī dētā hai .
8On the path of devotion, they say: Whatever actions someone performs, he receives the fruit of that.
5Bhakti mē̃ kahtē haĩ jō jaisā karma kartā hai vaisā phal pātā hai .
9However, anything they receive on the path of devotion is for a temporary period.
6Parantu bhakti mē̃ tō alpkāl kā miltā . 7Gyān mē̃ samajh sē kartē isliyē sadākāl kā miltā hai .
10On the path of knowledge, you do everything with understanding and this is why whatever you receive is for all time.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
11Om shanti.
9Rūhānī bachchō̃ sē rūhānī bāp rūhrihān kar rahē haĩ vā aisē kahē̃gē rūhānī bāp bachchō̃ kō rājyōg sikhlā rahē haĩ .
12The spiritual Father is having a heart-to-heart conversation with you spiritual children. 13Or, you would say that the spiritual Father is teaching you children Raja Yoga.
10Tum āyē hō bēhad K|kē bāp sē rājyōg sīkhnē isliyē buddhi chalī jānī chāhiē bāp key|kī taraph .
14You have come to study Raja Yoga with the unlimited Father. 15This is why your intellects should go to the Father.
11Yah hai paramātma gyān ātmāō̃ kē prati .
16This is God’s knowledge for souls.
12Bhagvānuvāch sāligrāmō̃ prati .
17God speaks to the saligrams.
13Ātmāō̃ kō hī sunnā hai isliyē ātma-abhimānī bannā hai .
18It is you souls who have to listen and this is why you have to become soul conscious.
14Āgē tum dēh-abhimānī thē .
19Previously, you were body conscious.
15Is purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug par hī bāp ākar tum bachchō̃ kō ātma-abhimānī banātē haĩ .
20The Father only comes at this most auspicious confluence age and makes you children soul conscious.
16Ātma-abhimānī aur dēh-abhimānī kā fark tum samajh gayē hō .
21You have now understood the difference between soul conscious and body conscious.
17Bāp nē hī samjhāyā hai ātmā hī śharīr sē part bajātī hai .
22The Father has explained to you that it is souls that plays their parts through their bodies.
18Paṛhtī ātmā hai , śharīr nahī̃ .
23It is the souls, not bodies, that study.
19Parantu dēh-abhimān hōnē K|kē kāraṇ samajhtē haĩ phalānā paṛhātē haĩ .
24However, because of being body conscious, they think that so-and-so is teaching them.
20Tum bachchō̃ kō jō paṛhānē vālā hai vah hai nirākār .
25The One who is teaching you children is incorporeal.
21Unkā nām hai śhiv .
26His name is Shiva.
22Śhivbābā kō apnā śharīr nahī̃ hōtā .
27Shiv Baba doesn’t have a body of His own.
23Aur sab kahē̃gē mērā śharīr .
28Everyone else would say: This is my body.
24Yah kisnē kahā ?
29Who said this?
25Ātmā nē kahā - yah mērā śharīr hai .
30The soul said: This is my body.
26Bākī vah sab haĩ jismānī paṛhāīyā̃ . 27Anēk prakār key|kī usmē̃ subject hōtī haĩ .
31However, all of those are worldly, physical studies and there are many different subjects in them.
28Be|B . A . ādi kitnē nām haĩ .
32There are so many different titles such as B.A. etc.
29Ismē̃ ēk hī nām hai , paṛhāī bhī ēk hī paṛhātē haĩ .
33Here, there is just the one name and it is only the One who is teaching you.
30Ēk hī bāp ākar paṛhātē haĩ , tō bāp kō hī yād karnā paṛē .
34Only the one Father comes and teaches you. 35So, you have to remember the Father.
31Hamkō bēhad kā bāp paṛhātē haĩ , unkā nām kyā hai ?
36The unlimited Father is teaching us. 37What is His name?
32Unkā nām hai śhiv .
38His name is Shiva.
33Aisē nahī̃ ki nām-rūp sē nyārā hai .
39It isn’t that He is beyond name and form.
34Manuṣhyō̃ kā nām śharīr par paṛtā hai .
40Names are given to the bodies of human beings.
35Kahē̃gē phalānē kā yah śharīr hai .
41It would be said: This is the body of so-and-so.
36Vaisē śhivbābā kā nām nahī̃ hai .
42However, Shiv Baba does not have a bodily name.
37Manuṣhyō̃ K|kē nām śharīr par haĩ , ēk hī nirākār bāp hai jiskā nām hai śhiv .
43Human beings are given names for their bodies, whereas it is only the one incorporeal Father whose name is Shiva.
38Jab paṛhānē ātē haĩ tō bhī nām śhiv hī hai .
44When He comes here to teach you, His name is still Shiva.
39Yah śharīr tō unkā nahī̃ hai .
45This body does not belong to Him.
40Bhagvān ēk hī hōtā hai , 10-12 nahī̃ . 41Vah hai hī ēk phir manuṣhya unkō 24 avatār kahtē haĩ .
46There is just one God, not 10 or 12. He is just the One, and yet people say that He has 24 incarnations.
42Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē bahut bhaṭkāyā hai .
47The Father says: You have made Me wander around a lot.
43Paramātmā kō ṭhikkar-bhittar sabmē̃ kah diyā hai .
48You have said that the Supreme Soul is in the pebbles and stones.
44Jaisē bhakti mārg mē̃ khud bhaṭakē haĩ vaisē mujhē bhī bhaṭkāyā hai . 45Drama anusār unkē bāt karnē kā ḍhaṅg kitnā śhītal hai .
49Just as you have wandered a lot on the path of devotion, in the same way, you have made Me wander a lot too.
46Samjhātē haĩ mērē ūpar sabnē kitnā apkār kiyā hai , mērī kitnī glānī kī hai .
50According to the drama, His way of speaking is so serene. 51He explains: Everyone has defamed and insulted Me so much.
47Manuṣhya kahtē haĩ ham niṣhkām sēvā kartē haĩ , bāp kahtē haĩ mērē sivāē kōī niṣhkām sēvā kar nahī̃ saktā .
52People say that they do altruistic service, whereas the Father says: No one, apart from Me, can do altruistic service.
48Jō kartā hai unkō phal jarūr miltā hai .
53Whoever does something definitely receives the fruit of that.
49Abhī tumkō phal mil rahā hai .
54You are now receiving the fruit.
50Gāyan hai ki bhakti kā phal bhagvān dēgē kyōṅki bhagvān hai gyān kā sāgar .
55It is remembered that God gives the fruit of devotion because God is the Ocean of Knowledge.
51Bhakti mē̃ ādhākalp tum karmkāṇḍ kartē āyē hō .
56You have been performing rituals on the path of devotion for half a cycle.
52Ab yah gyān hai paṛhāī .
57This knowledge is a study.
53Paṛhāī miltī hai ēk bār aur ēk hī bāp sē .
58Only once do you receive this study from the one Father.
54Bāp purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug par ēk hī bār ākar tumkō purūṣhōttam banākar jātē haĩ .
59The Father only comes once, at the most auspicious confluence age and goes back after making you into the most elevated human beings.
55Yah hai gyān aur vah hai bhakti .
60This is knowledge and that is devotion.
56Ādhākalp tum bhakti kartē thē , ab jō bhakti nahī̃ kartē haĩ , unkō vaham paṛtā hai ki patā nahī̃ , bhakti nahī̃ key|kī tab phalānā mar gayā , bīmār hō gayā .
61You have been performing devotion for half a cycle. 62Those who do not perform devotion think that perhaps so-and-so died or became ill because he or she hadn’t been performing devotion.
57Parantu aisē hai nahī̃ .
63However, it is not like that.
58Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē , tum pukārtē āyē hō ki āp ākar patitō̃ kō pāvan banāē sabkī sadgati karō .
64The Father says: Children, you have been calling out to Me to come and make everyone pure from impure and grant everyone salvation.
59Tō ab maĩ āyā hū̃ .
65So, I have now come.
60Bhakti alag hai , gyān alag hai .
66Devotion is separate from knowledge.
61Bhakti sē ādhākalp hōtī hai rāt , gyān sē ādhākalp K|kē liyē hōtā hai din .
67Through devotion there is the night for half a cycle and through knowledge there is the day for half a cycle.
62Rām rājya aur rāvaṇ rājya dōnō̃ bēhad hai .
68The kingdom of Rama and the kingdom of Ravan are both unlimited.
63Dōnō̃ kā time barābar hai .
69The time of each is equal.
64Is samay bhōgī hōnē kāraṇ duniyā key|kī vr̥iddhi jāstī hōtī hai , āyu bhī kam hōtī hai .
70At this time, because people are bhogis (those who indulge in sensual pleasures), the world population is greater and people’s lifespans are shorter.
65Vr̥iddhi jāstī na hō uskē liyē phir prabandh rachtē haĩ .
71They try to create ways for the population not to increase too much.
66Tum bachchē jāntē hō itnī baṛī duniyā kō cum|kam karnā tō bāp kā hī kām hai .
72You children know that it is only the Father’s duty to make such a big world, small (population wise).
67Bāp ātē hī haĩ cum|kam karnē .
73The Father comes to make it small.
68Pukārtē bhī haĩ bābā ākar adharm vināśh karō arthāt sr̥iṣhṭi kō cum|kam karō .
74You have been calling out: Baba, come and destroy irreligiousness, that is, make this world population smaller.
69Duniyā tō jāntī nahī̃ ki bāp kitnā cum|kam kar dētē haĩ .
75The world doesn’t know how small the Father makes it.
70Thōṛē manuṣhya rah jātē haĩ .
76Only a few human beings remain.
71Bākī sab ātmāyē̃ apnē ghar chalī jātī haĩ phir number-vār part bajānē ātī haĩ .
77All the rest of the souls will go back to their home and then come down here, numberwise, to play their parts.
72Nāṭak mē̃ jitnā part dērī sē hōtā hai , vah ghar sē bhī dērī sē ātē haĩ .
78The later their parts are in the play, the later they will come down here from the home.
73Apnā dhandhā ādi pūrā kar bād mē̃ ātē haĩ . 74Nāṭak vālē bhī apnā dhandhā kartē haĩ , phir samay par nāṭak mē̃ ā jātē haĩ part bajānē .
79Those who are in a play carry on with their business, etc. and then go later to play their parts at their time.
75Tumhārā bhī aisē hī hai , pichhāṛī mē̃ jinkā part hai vah pichhāṛī mē̃ ātē haĩ .
80It is the same for you. 81Those who have a later part in a play will come down later.
76Jō pahlē-pahlē śhurū K|kē pārṭdhārī haĩ vah satyug ādi mē̃ ātē haĩ .
82Those who are actors at the beginning of the play come down here at the beginning of the golden age.
77Pichhāṛī vālē dēkhō tō abhī ātē hī rahtē haĩ .
83You can see that those who are to come later are still continuing to come.
78Ṭāl-ṭāliyā̃ pichhāṛī tak ātī rahtī haĩ .
84The branches and twigs will continue to grow till the end.
79Is samay tum bachchō̃ kō gyān key|kī bātē̃ samjhāī jātī haĩ aur savērē yād mē̃ baiṭhtē hō , vah hai drill .
85The concepts of this knowledge are explained to you at this time. 86When you sit in remembrance in the morning, it is drill.
80Ātmā kō apnē bāp kō yād karnā hai .
87The soul has to remember his Father.
81Yōg akṣhar chhōṛ dō .
88Forget the word “yoga”.
82Ismē̃ mūnjhtē haĩ .
89People become confused with that.
83Kahtē haĩ hamārā yōg nahī̃ lagtā hai .
90They say: I am unable to have yoga.
84Bāp kahtē haĩ - arē , bāp kō tum yād nahī̃ kar saktē hō !
91The Father says: Oh! 92Can you not remember your Father?
85Kyā yah achchhī bāt hai !
93Is this good?
86Yād nahī̃ karē̃gē tō pāvan kaisē banē̃gē ?
94If you don’t remember Me, how would you become pure?
87Bāp hai hī patit-pāvan .
95The Father is the Purifier.
88Bāp ākar drama K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kā rāz samjhātē haĩ .
96The Father comes and explains to you the secrets of the beginning, the middle and the end of the drama.
89Yah variety dharm aur variety manuṣhyō̃ kā vr̥ikṣha hai .
97This is the tree of the variety of religions and the variety of human beings.
90Sārē sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē jō bhī manuṣhya mātra haĩ sab pārṭdhārī haĩ .
98All human beings of the whole world are actors. 99There are so many human beings.
91Kitnē ḍhēr manuṣhya haĩ , hisāb nikāltē haĩ - ēk varṣh mē̃ itnē krōṛ paidā hō jāyēṅgē .
100People calculate and say: In one year, there will be this many million born.
92Phir itnī jagah hī kahā̃ hai .
101However, there isn’t that much space here.
93Tab bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ ātā hū̃ limited number karnē .
102This is why the Father says: I come here to make the numbers limited.
94Jab sabhī ātmāyē̃ ūpar sē ā jātī haĩ , hamārā ghar khālī hō jātā hai .
103When all souls have come from up above, My home becomes empty.
95Bākī bhī jō bachat hai vah bhī ā jātī hai .
104Those who are still up there also come down.
96Jhāṛ kabhī sūkhtā nahī̃ , chaltā ātā hai .
105The tree never completely dries up. 106It continues to grow.
97Pichhāṛī mē̃ jab vahā̃ kōī rahtā nahī̃ , phir sabhī jāyēṅgē .
107At the end, when there is no one left up there, everyone will then go back.
98Naī duniyā mē̃ kitnē thōṛē thē , ab kitnē ḍhēr haĩ .
108There were so few people in the new world whereas there are now so many.
99Śharīr tō sabkā badaltā jātā hai .
109Everyone’s body continues to be changed.
100Vah bhī janm vahī lē̃gē jō kalp-kalp lētē haĩ .
110Only those who have taken those births every cycle will take the same births now.
101Yah world drama kaisē chaltā hai , sivāē bāp K|kē kōī samjhā na sakē .
111No one, apart from the Father, can explain how this world drama continues.
102Bachchō̃ mē̃ bhī number-vār purūṣhārth anusār samajhtē haĩ .
112You children also understand this, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.
103Bēhad kā nāṭak kitnā baṛā hai .
113The unlimited play is so big.
104Kitnī samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .
114There are so many things to be understood.
105Bēhad kā bāp tō gyān kā sāgar hai .
115The unlimited Father is the Ocean of Knowledge.
106Bākī tō sab limited haĩ .
116All others are limited.
107Vēd śhāstra ādi kuchh banātē haĩ , jāstī tō kuchh banēgā nahī̃ .
117They write the Vedas and scriptures etc., but they are not going to be able to create that many.
108Tum likhtē jāō śhurū sē lēkar tō kitnī lambī-chauṛī gītā ban jāyē .
118If you were to write from the beginning, it would become such a big Gita.
109Sab chhaptā jāyē tō makān sē bhī baṛī gītā ban jāyē isliyē baṛāī dī hai sāgar kō syāhī banā dō … phir yah bhī kah dētē ki chiṛiyāō̃ nē sāgar kō hap kiyā .
119If everything were to be printed, the Gita would become even bigger than this building. 120This is why they have given it the praise: If you were to make the ocean into ink… 121Then they also say that sparrows swallowed the ocean.
110Tum chiṛiyāyē̃ hō , sārē gyān sāgar kō hap kar rahī hō .
122You are the sparrows who are now swallowing this whole ocean of knowledge.
111Tum abhī brāhmaṇ banē hō .
123You have now become Brahmins.
112Tumkō ab gyān milā hai .
124You have now received this knowledge.
113Gyān sē tum sab kuchh jān gayē hō .
125You now know everything through this knowledge.
114Kalp-kalp tum yahā̃ paṛhāī paṛhtē hō , usmē̃ kuchh cum|kam jāstī nahī̃ hōnā hai .
126You come here to study every cycle. 127There is no question of anything being less or more.
115Jitnā jō purūṣhārth kartē haĩ , unkī utnī prālabdh bantī hai .
128The more effort you make, the greater the reward you create.
116Harēk samajh saktē haĩ ham kitnā purūṣhārth kar , kitnā pad pānē K|kē lāyak ban rahē haĩ .
129Each one of you can understand how much effort you make and to what extent you are becoming worthy to claim that status.
117School mē̃ bhī number-vār imtahān pās|pass kartē haĩ .
130Students pass an examination at school, numberwise.
118Sūryavanśhī-chandravanśhī dōnō̃ bantē haĩ .
131Both the sun and the moon dynasties are created.
119Jō nā-pass hōtē haĩ vah chandravanśhī bantē haĩ .
132Those who fail become the moon dynasty.
120Kōī jāntē nahī̃ ki rām kō bāṇ kyō̃ diyā hai ?
133No one knows why Rama has been shown with a bow and arrow.
121Mārāmārī key|kī history banā dī hai .
134They have made history violent.
122Is samay hai hī mārāmārī .
135At this time, there is nothing but violence.
123Tum jāntē hō jō jaisā karma kartē haĩ unkō aisā phal miltā hai .
136You know that whatever actions they perform, each of them receives the fruit of those accordingly.
124Jaisē kōī hospital banātē haĩ tō dūsrē janm mē̃ unkī āyu baṛī aur tandurūsta hōṅgē .
137For instance, when someone builds a hospital, he will have a long life and be healthy in his next birth.
125Kōī dharmaśhālā , school banātē haĩ tō unkō ādhākalp kā sukh miltā hai .
138For half a cycle those who build dharamshalas or schools receive temporary happiness.
126Yahā̃ bachchē jab ātē haĩ tō bābā pūchhtē haĩ tumkō kitnē bachchē haĩ ?
139When you children come here, Baba asks: How many children do you have?
127Tō kahtē haĩ 3 laukik aur ēk śhivbābā kyōṅki vah varsā dētā bhī hai tō lētā bhī hai .
140You say: Three physical children and One is Shiv Baba, because He gives you an inheritance and also receives an inheritance.
128Hisāb hai .
141There is the account.
129Unkō lēnē kā kuchh hai nahī̃ , vah tō dātā hai .
142He doesn’t really want to take anything, because He is the Bestower.
130Chāval muṭṭhī dēkar tum mahal lē lētē hō , isliyē bhōlānāth hai .
143He is the Innocent Lord because you give Him a handful of rice and claim a palace in return.
131Patit-pāvan gyān sāgar hai .
144He is the Purifier and the Ocean of Knowledge.
132Ab bāp kahtē haĩ yah bhakti K|kē jō śhāstra haĩ unkā sār samjhātā hū̃ .
145Now the Father says: I explain to you the essence of the scriptures of the path of devotion.
133Bhakti kā phal hōtā hai ādhākalp kā .
146The fruit of your devotion lasts for half a cycle.
134Sannyāsī kahtē haĩ yah sukh kāg viṣhṭā K|kē samān hai , isliyē gharbār chhōṛ jaṅgal mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ .
147Sannyasis say that this happiness is like the droppings of a crow, and this is why they leave their homes and families and go away to the forests.
135Kahtē haĩ hamkō svarg K|kē sukh nahī̃ chāhiē , jō phir nark mē̃ ānā paṛē .
148They say that they don’t want the happiness of heaven because they would then have to go to hell.
136Hamkō mōkṣh chāhiē .
149Instead, they want eternal liberation.
137Parantu yah yād rakhō ki yah bēhad kā nāṭak hai .
150However, you have to remember that this play is unlimited.
138Is nāṭak sē ēk bhī ātmā chhūṭ nahī̃ saktī hai , banā banāyā hai .
151Not a single soul can be released from this play; it is predestined.
139Tab gātē haĩ banī banāī ban rahī … parantu bhakti mārg mē̃ chintā karnī paṛtī hai .
152This is why, “That which is destined is happening”, is remembered. 153Therefore, they worry on the path of devotion.
140Jō kuchh pās|pass kiyā hai vah phir hōgā .
154Whatever happened in the past, it will happen again.
14184 kā chakra tum lagātē hō .
155You go around the cycle of 84 births.
142Yah kabhī band nahī̃ hōtā hai , banā banāyā hai .
156This cycle never ends; it is predestined.
143Ismē̃ tum apnē purūṣhārth kō uṛā kaisē saktē hō ?
157How can you stop your effort in that?
144Tumhārē kahnē sē tum nikal nahī̃ saktē hō .
158You cannot come out of it just because you say so.
145Mōkṣh kō pānā , jyōti jyōt samānā , brahm mē̃ līn hōnā - yah ēk hī hai .
159To receive eternal liberation, to merge into the light or to merge into the brahm element are all the same thing.
146Anēk matē̃ haĩ , anēk dharm haĩ .
160There are innumerable opinions and innumerable religions.
147Phir kah dētē haĩ tumhārī gat-mat tum hī jānō .
161Then, people say: Only You know Your ways and means.
148Tumhārī śhrīmat sē sadgati miltī hai .
