Question

2Praśhna  : tum bachchō̃ K|kē purūṣhārth key|kī mañzil kaun-sī hai  ?

3Question: What is the destination of you children through your efforts?

Answer

3Uttar  : āp marē mar gaī duniyā - yahī hai tumhārī mañzil .

4Answer: When you die, the world is dead for you. 5This is your destination.

4Śharīr sē mamatva ṭūṭ jāē .

6All attachment to bodies has to be broken.

5Aisā beggar banō jō kuchh bhī yād na āyē . 6Ātmā aśharīrī ban jāyē .

7Become such beggars that you souls becomes bodiless and you don't remember anything.

7Bas , hamkō vāpis jānā hai .

8You simply have to return home.

8Aisā purūṣhārth karnē vālē beggar to prince bantē haĩ .

9Only those who make such effort change from beggars to princes.

9Tum bachchē hī fakīr sē amīr , amīr sē fakīr bantē hō .

10Only you children become wealthy from poor and poor from wealthy.

10Jab tum amīr hō tō ēk bhī garīb nahī̃ hōtā hai .

11When you are wealthy, there isn't a single poor person.

Murli

11Ōm śhānti .

12Om shanti.

12Bāp bachchō̃ sē pūchhtē haĩ ki ātmā suntī hai yā śharīr suntā hai  ?

13The Father asks you children: Is it the soul that listens or the body?

13 ( ātmā ) ātmā sunēgī jarūr śharīr dvārā .

14(The soul.) 15Each soul would surely listen through a body.

14Bachchē likhtē bhī aisē haĩ phalānē key|kī ātmā bāpdādā kō yād kartī hai .

16Some children write: The soul of so-and-so is remembering BapDada.

15Phalānē key|kī ātmā āj phalānī jagah jātī hai .

17The soul of so-and-so is going to such-and-such a place today.

16Yah jaisē ādat paṛ jātī hai , ham ātmā haĩ kyōṅki bachchō̃ kō ātma-abhimānī bannā hai .

18It is as though this habit of "I am a soul" is instilled in you, because you children have to become soul conscious.

17Jahā̃ bhī dēkhtē hō , jāntē hō ātmā aur śharīr hai aur inmē̃ haĩ dō ātmāyē̃ .

19Wherever you look, you know that there is a soul and a body. 20However, there are two souls in this one (Brahma).

18Ēk kō ātmā aur ēk kō param ātmā kahtē haĩ .

21One is called a soul and the other is called the Supreme Soul.

19Paramātmā khud kahtē haĩ mai is śharīr mē̃ , jismē̃ inkī ātmā bhī pravēśh rahtī hai , maĩ pravēśh kartā hū̃ .

22The Supreme Soul, Himself, says: I enter this one's body in which his own soul is also present. 23I enter him.

20Śharīr bigar tō ātmā rah nahī̃ saktī .

24A soul cannot stay without a body.

21Ab bāp kahtē haĩ apnē kō ātmā samjhō .

25The Father now says: Consider yourselves to be souls.

22Apnē kō ātmā samajhē̃gē tab bāp kō yād karē̃gē aur pavitra ban śhāntidhām mē̃ jāyēṅgē aur phir daivīguṇ bhī jitnā dhāraṇ kar aur karāyēṅgē , svadarśhan chakradhārī bankar aur banāyēṅgē utnā ūñch pad pāyēṅgē .

26When you consider yourselves to be souls you will remember the Father; you will become pure and go to the land of peace. 27The more divine virtues you imbibe and inspire others to imbibe, and the more you become a spinner of the discus of self-realisation and make others that, the higher the status you will claim.

23Ismē̃ kōī mūñjhtē hō tō pūchh saktē hō .

28If you become confused about this, you can ask.

24Yah tō jarūr hai maĩ ātmā hū̃ , bāp bachchō̃ kō hī kahtē haĩ jō brāhmaṇ banē haĩ .

29It is definite that I am a soul. 30It is only the children who have become Brahmins that the Father speaks to.

25Dūsrō̃ kō nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

31He would not tell anyone else.

26Bachchē hī priya lagtē haĩ .

32He only loves His children.

27Har ēk bāp kō bachchē priya lagtē haĩ .

33Every father loves his children.

28Dūsrē kō bhal bāhar sē pyār karē̃gē parantu buddhi mē̃ hai - yah hamārē bachchē nahī̃ haĩ .

34Although they love others externally, their intellects are aware that others are not their children.

29Maĩ bachchō̃ sē hī bāt kartā hū̃ kyōṅki bachchō̃ kō hī paṛhānā hai .

35I only speak to you children because it is only you children that I have to teach.

30Bākī bāhar vālō̃ kō paṛhānā tumhārā kām hai .

36It is then your duty to teach those outside.

31Kōī tō jhaṭ samajh jātē haĩ , kōī thōṛā samajhkar chalē jāyēṅgē .

37Some understand quickly whereas others understand a little and then go away.

32Phir jab dēkhē̃gē yahā̃ tō bahut vr̥iddhi hō rahī hai tab āyēṅgē , dēkhē̃ tō sahī .

38When people see that there is a lot of expansion here, they will come: “Let us go and see what they have.”

33Tum yahī samjhāyēṅgē ki bāp sabhī ātmāō̃ vā bachchō̃ kō kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō .

39You explain that the Father says to all souls and children: Remember Me!

34Sabhī ātmāō̃ kō pāvan bāp hī banātē haĩ .

40Only the Father purifies all souls.

35Vah kahtē haĩ mērē sivāē aur kōī kō yād na karō .

41He says: Do not remember anyone except Me.

36Mērī avyabhichārī yād rakhō tō tumhārī ātmā pāvan ban jāyēgī .

42Have unadulterated remembrance of Me and you souls will then become pure.

37Patit-pāvan maĩ ēk hī hū̃ .

43I alone am the Purifier.

38Mērī yād sē hī ātmā pāvan banēgī isliē kahtē haĩ - bachchō̃ , māmēkam yād karō .

44It is only by having remembrance of Me that souls become pure. 45This is why He says: Children, constantly remember Me alone.

39Bāp hī patit rājya sē pāvan rājya banātē haĩ , liberate kartē haĩ .

46The Father alone changes this impure kingdom into a pure kingdom and liberates you.

40Kahā̃ lē jātē haĩ  ?

47Where does He take you?

41Śhāntidhām phir sukhdhām .

48To the land of peace and then the land of happiness.

42Mūl bāt hī hai pāvan bannē key|kī .

49The main thing is to become pure.

4384 kā chakra samjhānā bhī sahaj hai .

50It is easy to explain the cycle of 84 births.

44Chitra dēkhnē sē hī niśhchay baiṭh jātā hai isliē bābā hamēśhā kahtē rahtē haĩ museum khōlō - bhabhkē sē .

51As soon as you see the picture, faith is instilled in you. 52This is why Baba always continues to say: Open museums that have splendour.

45Tō manuṣhyō̃ kō bhabhkā khīñchēgā .

53That splendour will then attract people.

46Bahut āyēṅgē , tum yahī sunāyēṅgē ki ham bāp key|kī śhrīmat par yah ban rahē haĩ .

54Many will come and you can then tell them: We are becoming this by following the Father's shrimat.

47Bāp kahtē haĩ māmēkam yād karō aur daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karō .

55The Father says: Constantly remember Me alone and imbibe divine virtues.

48Badge tō jarūr sāth hōnā chāhiē .

56Each of you should definitely have your badge with you.

49Tum jāntē hō ham beggar to prince banē̃gē .

57You know that you will change from beggars to princes.

50Pahlē tō śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa banē̃gē nā .

58First, you will become like Shri Krishna.

51Jab tak śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa na banē̃ tab tak śhrīnārāyaṇ ban na sakē̃ .

59Unless you become like Shri Krishna, you cannot become like Narayan.

52Bachchē sē baṛā hō tab nārāyaṇ nām milē .

60It is only when you grow up from being a child that you would receive the name "Narayan".

53Tō inmē̃ dōnō̃ chitra haĩ .

61Both images are in this (badge).

54Tum yah bantē hō .

62You are becoming this.

55Abhī tum sab beggar banē huē hō .

63All of you have now become beggars.

56Yah brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ bhī beggars haĩ , inkē pās|pass kuchh bhī nahī̃ hai .

64These Brahma Kumars and Kumaris are also beggars; they don't have anything.

57Beggar arthāt jinkē pās|pass kuchh bhī na hō .

65To be a beggar means to be someone who doesn't have anything.

58Kōī-kōī kō ham beggar nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

66We wouldn't call some people beggars.

59Yah bābā tō hai sabsē baṛā beggar .

67This Baba is the greatest beggar of all.

60Ismē̃ pūrā beggar bannā hōtā hai .

68You have to become full beggars here.

61Gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahtē āsakti tōṛnī hōtī hai .

69While living at home, you have to break off all attachments.

62Tumnē drama anusār āsakti tōṛ dī hai .

70According to the drama, you have broken off all your attachments.

63Niśhchaybuddhi hī jāntē haĩ , hamārā jō kuchh hai vah bābā kō dē diyā .

71Only those whose intellects have faith know that they have given whatever they had to Baba.

64Kahtē bhī haĩ nā - hē bhagvān , āpnē jō kuchh diyā hai vah āpkā hī hai , hamārā nahī̃ hai .

72They say: O God, whatever You have given is all Yours; it is not mine.

65Vah tō hōtā hai bhakti mārg .

73That is the path of devotion.

66Us samay tō bābā dūr thā .

74At that time, Baba was distant.

67Ab bābā bahut nazdīk hai .

75Baba is now very close.

68Sāmnē unkā bannā hōtā hai .

76While He is in front of you, you have to belong to Him.

69Tum kahtē hō bābā , bābā K|kē śharīr kō nahī̃ dēkhnā hai .

77You say, "Baba!" 78You don't have to look at Baba's body.

70Buddhi chalī jātī hai ūpar .

79Your intellects go up above.

71Bhal yah loan liyā huā śharīr hai parantu tumhārī buddhi mē̃ hai ham śhivbābā sē bāt kartē haĩ .

80Although this is the body that Baba has taken on loan, it is in your intellects that you speak to Shiv Baba.

72Yah tō kirāyē par liyā huā rath hai .

81This is the chariot He has rented.

73Unkā thōṛēhī hai .

82It doesn't belong to Him.

74Yah tō jarūr hai , jitnā baṛā ādmī hōgā tō kirāyā bhī bahut milēgā .

83It is certain that the greater the tenant, the more the rent one would receive.

75Makān mālik dēkhēgā - rājā makān lētē haĩ tō ēk hazār kirāyē kā 4 hazār bōl dēgā kyōṅki samajhtē haĩ yah tō dhanvān hai .

84The landlord would see that if a king wants a building, then, instead of 1000, he would ask for 4000 rent because he knows that that one is wealthy.

76Rājē lōg kabhī bhī bōlē̃gē nahī̃ ki yah tō jāstī lētē hō .

85Kings would never say that they are being charged too much.

77Nahī̃ , unhō̃ kō paisē ādi key|kī parvāh hī nahī̃ rahtī hai .

86They are not even concerned about money etc.

78Vah khud kōī sē bāt nahī̃ kartē haĩ .

87They don't speak to anyone themselves (about money).

79Private secretary hī bāt kartē haĩ .

88Their private secretaries would speak about it.

80Ājkal tō riśhvat bigar kām nahī̃ chaltā .

89Nowadays, nothing works without bribes.

81Bābā tō bahut anubhavī hai .

90Baba is very experienced.

82Vō lōg baṛē royal hōtē haĩ .

91Those people are very royal.

83Chīz pasand key|kī bas , phir secretary kō kahē̃gē insē phaĩslā kar lē āō .

92As soon as they choose something they like, they ask their secretaries to negotiate and bring it.

84Aisē māl khōl kar rakhē̃gē .

93The shopkeeper would keep all the goods on display for the emperor and empress.

85Mahārājā-mahārānī dōnō̃ āyēṅgē , jō chīz pasand hōgī un par sirph āṅkh sē iśhārā karē̃gē . 86Secretary bāt kar , bīch mē̃ apnā hissā nikāl lētē haĩ .

94Both of them would simply signal with their eyes towards what they like and their secretary would speak to the shopkeeper and also take his own commission.

87Kōī-kōī rājāyē̃ sāth mē̃ paisā lē ātē , secretary kō kahē̃gē inkō paisā dē dō .

95Some kings also carry money with them and would ask their secretary to give money to the shopkeeper.

88Bābā tō sabkē connection mē̃ āyē haĩ .

96Baba has been in connection with everyone.

89Jāntē haĩ kaisē-kaisē unhō̃ key|kī act chaltī hai .

97He knows how they act.

90Jaisē rājāō̃ kē pās khajāñchī rahtē haĩ , vaisē yahā̃ bhī śhivbābā kā khajāñchī hai . 91Yah tō trustee hai .

98Just as kings have treasurers, so Shiv Baba too has a treasurer: he is a trustee.

92Bābā kā inmē̃ kōī mōh nahī̃ hai , isnē apnē paisē mē̃ hī mōh nahī̃ rakhā , sab kuchh śhivbābā kō dē diyā tō phir śhivbābā K|kē dhan mē̃ mōh kaisē rakhē̃gē .

99Baba doesn't have any attachment to this. 100This one didn't have any attachment to his money and he gave everything to Shiv Baba, so how could he have attachment to Shiv Baba's wealth?

93Yah trustee hai .

101He is a trustee.

94Jinkē pās|pass dhan rahtā hai , ājkal tō government kitnā jāñch kartī hai .

102Nowadays, the Government investigates those who have a great deal of wealth.

95Vilāyat sē ātē haĩ tō ēkdam achchhī rīti jāñch kartē haĩ .

103When people come from abroad, they are very carefully searched.

96Ab tum bachchē jāntē hō kaisē beggar bannā hai .

104You children now know how you have to become beggars.

97Kuchh bhī yād na āyē .

105You shouldn't remember anything.

98Ātmā aśharīrī ban jāyē .

106You souls have to become bodiless.

99Is śharīr kō bhī apnā na samajhē .

107Do not even consider those bodies to belong to you.

100Hamārā kuchh bhī na rahē .

108“Nothing should remain mine”.

101Bāp samjhātē haĩ , apnē kō ātmā samjhō , abhī tumkō vāpis jānā hai .

109The Father explains: Consider yourselves to be souls. 110You now have to return home.

102Tum jāntē hō beggar kaisē bannā hōtā hai .

111You know how you have to become beggars.

103Śharīr sē bhī mamatva ṭūṭ jāē .

112All attachment to bodies should be broken.

104Āp muyē mar gaī duniyā .

113When you die, the world is dead for you.

105Yah mañzil hai .

114This is your destination.

106Samajhtē hō bābā ṭhīk kahtē haĩ .

115You understand that what Baba is saying is right.

107Ab hamkō vāpis jānā hai .

116We now have to return home.

108Śhivbābā kō tum jō kuchh dētē hō , uskā phir return mē̃ dūsrē janm mē̃ mil jātā hai isliē kahtē haĩ yah sab kuchh īśhvar nē hī diyā hai .

117Whatever you give to Shiv Baba, you receive the return of that in your next birth. 118This is why you say: God gave all of this.

109Āgē janm mē̃ aisā achchhā karma kiyā hai , jiskā phal milā hai .

119You would have performed good actions in your previous birth and so you have received the fruit of that.

110Śhivbābā rakhtā kiskā bhī nahī̃ hai .

120Shiv Baba doesn't keep anything of anyone’s.

111Baṛē baṛē rājāyē̃ , zamīdār ādi hōtē haĩ tō unkō nazrānā bhī dētē haĩ .

121People offer gifts to kings and big landlords etc.

112Phir kōī nazrānā lētē , kōī nahī̃ lētē .

122Some accept those gifts whereas others don't.

113Vahā̃ tō tum kuchh bhī dān-puṇya nahī̃ kartē hō kyōṅki vahā̃ tō sabkē pās|pass paisē bahut haĩ . 114Dān kiskō karē̃gē .

123There, you don't make donations or perform charity because everyone there has plenty of wealth, so to whom would you donate?

115Garīb tō vahā̃ hōtē nahī̃ .

124There are no poor people there.

116Tum hī fakīr sē amīr aur amīr sē fakīr bantē hō .

125You yourselves become wealthy from poor and poor from wealthy.

117Kahtē haĩ nā inkō tandurūstī bakhśhō .

126People say to God: “Give this one good health!”

118Kr̥ipā karō .

127“Have mercy!”

119Yah karō .

128“Do this!”

120Āgē śhurū mē̃ bhī śhivbābā sē hī māṅgtē thē .

129Earlier, people only used to ask Shiv Baba for everything.

121Phir vyabhichārī ban gayē haĩ tō sabkē āgē jātē rahtē haĩ . 122Kahtē haĩ jhōlī bhar dō .

130Then, they became adulterated and so they went in front of everyone and said: Fill our aprons!

123Kitnē pattharbuddhi haĩ .

131They have such stone intellects.

124Kahtē bhī haĩ pattharbuddhi sē pārasbuddhi banātē haĩ .

132They say that God changes those with stone intellects into those with divine intellects.

125Tō tum bachchō̃ kō khuśhī bahut rahnī chāhiē .

133So, you children should have a lot of happiness.

126Gāyan bhī hai atīndriya sukh pūchhnā hō tō gōpī vallabh K|kē gōp-gōpiyō̃ sē pūchhō .

134It is remembered: If you want to know about supersensuous joy, ask the gopes and gopis of Gopi Vallabh (Father of the gopes and gopis).

127Kiskō bahut phāydā hōtā hai tō bahut khuśhī hōtī hai .

135When someone benefits a lot, he becomes very happy.

128Tō tum bachchō̃ kō bhī bahut khuśhī rahnī chāhiē .

136So, you children should also remain very happy.

129Tumkō 100 percent khuśhī thī phir ghaṭtī gaī .

137You had 100 percent happiness and then it continued to decrease.

130Ab tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ hai .

138Now you don't have anything.

131Pahlē thī bēhad key|kī bādśhāhī . 132Phir hōtī hai had key|kī rājāī , alpkāl kē liē .

139At first, you had an unlimited sovereignty and then there was a limited kingdom for a temporary period.

133Ab birlā kē pās kitnī ḍhēr milkiyat hai .

140Look how much wealth Birla had!

134Mandir banātē haĩ , ussē kuchh bhī nahī̃ miltā .

141He continued to build temples. 142Nothing is received from that.

135Garībō̃ kō thōṛēhī kuchh dētē haĩ .

143He didn't give anything to the poor.

136Mandir banāyā , jahā̃ manuṣhya ākar māthā ṭēkē̃gē .

144He built temples where people go and bow down.

137Hā̃ , garīb kō dān mē̃ dētē haĩ tō uskā return mē̃ mil saktā hai .

145Yes, if someone makes a donation to the poor, he can receive the return of that.

138Dharmaśhālā banātē haĩ tō bahut manuṣhya jākar vahā̃ viśhrām pātē haĩ tō dūsrē janm mē̃ alpkāl kē liē sukh mil jātā hai .

146When someone builds a dharamshala where many people go and rest, he would then receive happiness in his next birth for a temporary period.

139Kōī hospital banātā hai tō bhī alpkāl kē liē sukh miltā hai ēk janm kē liē .

147If someone builds a hospital, he too then receives temporary happiness for one birth.

140Tō bēhad kā bāp bachchō̃ kō baiṭh samjhātē haĩ , is purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug key|kī bahut mahimā hai .

148So, the unlimited Father sits here and explains to you children. 149There is a lot of praise of this most auspicious confluence age.

141Tumhārī bhī bahut mahimā hai jō tum purūṣhōttam bantē hō .

150You are becoming the most elevated human beings who follow the highest codes of conduct and you are also praised a great deal.

142Tum brāhmaṇō̃ kō hī bhagvān ākar paṛhātē haĩ .

151When God comes, He only teaches you Brahmins.

143Vahī gyān kā sāgar hai .

152He alone is the Ocean of Knowledge.

144Is sārē manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi rūpī vr̥ikṣha kā bījrūp hai .

153He is the Seed of this whole human world tree.

145Sārē drama K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kā rāz samjhātē haĩ .

154He explains to you the secrets of the beginning, middle and end of the whole drama.

146Tumsē pūchhē̃gē kyā tumkō paṛhātē haĩ  ! 147Bōlō , kyā yah bhūl gayē hō - gītā mē̃ bhagvānuvāch hai nā , maĩ tumkō rājāō̃ kā rājā banātā hū̃ .

155When people ask you what He is teaching you, ask them: Have you forgotten that God says in the Gita, "I make you into the king of kings"?

148Iskā arth|earth tum abhī samajhtē hō .

156You understand the meaning of this at this time.

149Patit rājāyē̃ pāvan rājāō̃ key|kī pūjā kartē haĩ isliē bāp kahtē hai tumkō rājāō̃ kā rājā banātā hū̃ .

157Impure kings worship pure kings and this is why the Father says: I make you into the king of kings.

150Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ svarg K|kē mālik thē nā .

158This Lakshmi and Narayan were the masters of the world.

151Svarg K|kē dēvtāō̃ kō dvāpar-kaliyug mē̃ sab naman-pūjan kartē haĩ .

159In the copper and iron ages, everyone bows down and worships the deities of heaven.

152In bātō̃ kō abhī tum samajhtē hō .

160You understand these things at this time.

153Bhakta lōg kuchh bhī samajhtē thōṛēhī haĩ .

161Devotees don't understand anything.
