Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - ab satōpradhān ban ghar jānā hai isliē apnē kō ātmā samajh nirantar bāp kō yād karnē kā abhyās karō , unnati kā sadā khyāl rakhō ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, you now have to become satopradhan and return home. 2Therefore, practise considering yourselves to be souls and constantly remember the Father. 3Always be concerned about your progress.

Question

2Praśhna  : paṛhāī mē̃ din-pratidin āgē baṛh rahē haĩ yā pīchhē haṭ rahē haĩ uskī niśhānī kyā hai  ?

4Question: What is a sign of your making progress day by day or whether you are moving backwards in how you study?

Answer

3Uttar  : paṛhāī mē̃ agar āgē baṛh rahē haĩ tō halkēpan kā anubhav hōgā .

5Answer: If you are making progress in your studies, you experience lightness.

4Buddhi mē̃ rahēgā yah śharīr tō chhī-chhī hai , iskō chhōṛnā hai , hamkō tō ab ghar jānā hai .

6It will remain in your intellect that that is a dirty body and that you now have to shed it, that you now have to return home.

5Daivīguṇ dhāraṇ kartē jāyēṅgē .

7You will continue to imbibe divine virtues.

6Agar pīchhē haṭ rahē haĩ tō chalan sē āsurī guṇ dikhāī dēgē .

8If you are moving backwards, devilish traits would be visible in your activity.

7Chaltē-phirtē bāp kī yād nahī̃ rahēgī .

9You wouldn't have remembrance of the Father whilst you are walking and moving around.

8Vah fool|phūl ban sabkō sukh nahī̃ dē sakē̃gē .

10Such souls will not be able to become flowers or give happiness to everyone.

9Aisē bachchō̃ kō āgē chal sākṣhātkār hōṅgē phir bahut sajāyē̃ khānī paṛē̃gī .

11Such children will later on have visions and also experience a lot of punishment.

Murli

10Ōm śhānti .

12Om shanti.

11Buddhi mē̃ yah khyālāt rahē ki ham satōpradhān āyē thē .

13Let the thought remain in your intellects that you were satopradhan when you came down here.

12Rūhānī bāp rūhānī bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ yahā̃ sab baiṭhē haĩ , kōī tō dēh-abhimānī haĩ aur kōī dēhī-abhimānī hōṅgē .

14The spiritual Father explains to you spiritual children: Out of all of you sitting here, some are body conscious and others are soul conscious.

13Kōī second mē̃ dēh-abhimānī aur second mē̃ dēhī-abhimānī hōtē rahē̃gē .

15Some will continue to become body conscious in a second and soul conscious in the next second.

14Aisē tō kōī kah na sakē ki ham sārā samay dēhī-abhimānī hō baiṭhē haĩ .

16None of you can say that you sit here in soul consciousness all the time; no.

15Nahī̃ , bāp samjhātē haĩ kōī samay dēhī-abhimānī , kōī samay dēh-abhimān mē̃ hōṅgē .

17The Father explains: You would be soul conscious at some times and body conscious at other times.

16Ab bachchē yah tō jāntē haĩ ham ātmā is śharīr kō chhōṛ jāyēṅgē apnē ghar .

18You children know that you will shed your bodies and go back to your home.

17Bahut khuśhī sē jānā hai .

19You have to return home in great happiness.

18Sārā din chintan hī yah kartē haĩ - ham śhāntidhām mē̃ jāyē̃ kyōṅki bāp nē rāstā tō batāyā hai .

20Throughout the day, the only thought you should have is: I want to go to the land of peace because the Father has shown me the way.

19Aur lōg kabhī is vichār sē nahī̃ baiṭhtē hōṅgē .

21Other people would not be sitting with this thought.

20Yah śhikṣhā kiskō miltī hī nahī̃ hai .

22No one else receives these teachings.

21Khyāl bhī nahī̃ hōgā .

23They would never even have that thought.

22Tum samajhtē hō yah duḥkhdhām hai .

24We understand that this is the land of sorrow.

23Ab bāp nē sukhdhām mē̃ jānē kā rāstā batāyā hai .

25The Father has now shown you the way to go to the land of happiness.

24Jitnā bāp kō yād karē̃gē utnā sampūrṇ ban yathā yōgya śhāntidhām mē̃ jāyēṅgē , unkō hī mukti kahā jātā hai , jiskē liē hī manuṣhya gurū kartē haĩ . 25Parantu manuṣhyō̃ kō bilkul patā nahī̃ ki mukti-jīvanmukti chīz kyā hai kyōṅki yah hai naī bāt .

26The more you remember the Father, the more perfect you will become according to your capacity and go to the land of peace. 27That is called liberation for which people adopt gurus, but they don’t know at all what liberation is or liberation-in-life is because this is something new.

26Tum bachchē hī samajhtē hō ab hamkō ghar jānā hai .

28Only you children understand that you now have to go back home.

27Bāp kahtē haĩ yād kī yātrā sē pavitra banō .

29The Father says: Become pure by having the pilgrimage of remembrance.

28Tum pahlē-pahlē jab āyē śhrēṣhṭhāchārī duniyā mē̃ tō satōpradhān thē .

30When you first went to the elevated world, you were satopradhan.

29Ātmā satōpradhān thī .

31Souls were satopradhan.

30Kōī kē sāth connection bhī pīchhē hōgā .

32It was later that connections were made with others.

31Jab garbh mē̃ jāyēṅgē tab sambandh mē̃ āyēṅgē .

33When you enter a womb, you forge a relationship.

32Tum jāntē hō abhī yah hamārā antim janm hai . 33Hamkō vāpis ghar jānā hai .

34You know that this is now your last birth and that you have to return home.

34Pavitra bannē bigar ham jā nahī̃ sakē̃gē .

35We cannot go home without becoming pure.

35Aisē-aisē andar mē̃ bātē̃ karnī chāhiē kyōṅki bāp kā farmān hai uṭhtē-baiṭhtē , chaltē-phirtē buddhi mē̃ yahī khyālāt rahē̃ ki ham satōpradhān āyē thē , ab satōpradhān bankar ghar jānā hai .

36You should talk to yourselves internally: The Father's orders are: Whilst walking and moving around, let there be this thought in your intellect: We came satopradhan and we now have to become satopradhan and return home.

36Satōpradhān bannā hai bāp kī yād sē kyōṅki bāp hī patit-pāvan hai .

37We have to become satopradhan by having remembrance of the Father because only the Father is the Purifier.

37Ham bachchō̃ kō yukti batātē haĩ ki tum aisē pāvan hō sakē̃gē .

38He shows us children how we can become pure.

38Sārē sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō tō bāp hī jāntē haĩ aur kōī authority hai nahī̃ .

39Only the Father knows the beginning, middle and end of the whole world. 40There is no other Authority.

39Bāp hī manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi kā bījrūp hai .

41The Father alone is the Seed of the human world tree.

40Bhakti kahā̃ tak chaltī hai , yah bhī bāp nē samjhāyā hai .

42The Father has also explained to you how long devotion lasts.

41Itnā samay gyān mārg , itnā samay bhakti .

43There is the path of this knowledge for such and such a period and the path of devotion for such and such a period.

42Yah sārā gyān andar mē̃ ṭapaknā chāhiē .

44All of this knowledge should trickle into your intellects.

43Jaisē bāp key|kī ātmā mē̃ gyān hai , tumhārī ātmā mē̃ bhī gyān hai .

45Just as the Father's soul has this knowledge in it, so you souls also have this knowledge in you.

44Śharīr dvārā suntē aur sunātē haĩ .

46You listen and relate it through your bodies.

45Śharīr bigar tō ātmā bōl na sakē , ismē̃ prērṇā vā ākāśhvāṇī key|kī bāt hōtī nahī̃ .

47A soul cannot speak without a body. 48There is no question of inspiration or “A voice from the ether” in this.

46Bhagvānuvāch hai tō jarūr mukh chāhiē , rath chāhiē .

49Since these are the words of God, a mouth and a chariot are definitely needed.

47Gadhē-ghōṛē kā rath tō nahī̃ chāhiē .

50You don't need a chariot of a donkey or a horse.

48Tum bhī pahlē samajhtē thē kaliyug abhī 40 hazār varṣh aur chalnā hai .

51Previously, you too used to think that the iron age would continue for another 40,000 years.

49Agyān nīnd mē̃ sōyē paṛē thē , ab bābā nē jagāyā hai .

52You were sleeping in the sleep of ignorance. 53Baba has now awakened you.

50Tum bhī agyān mē̃ thē .

54You too were ignorant.

51Ab gyān milā hai .

55You have now received this knowledge.

52Agyān kahā jātā hai bhakti kō .

56Devotion is called ignorance.

53Ab tum bachchō̃ kō yah khyāl karnā hai ham apnī unnati kaisē karē̃ , ūñch pad kaisē pāyē̃  ?

57You children should now be thinking about how to make progress and claim a high status.

54Apnē ghar jākar phir naī rājdhānī mē̃ ākar ūñch martabā pāyē̃ .

58You want to go to your home and then claim a high status in the new kingdom.

55Uskē liē hai yād kī yātrā .

59There is the pilgrimage of remembrance for that.

56Apnē kō ātmā tō jarūr samajhnā hai .

60You must definitely consider yourselves to be souls.

57Ham sab ātmāō̃ kā bāp paramātmā hai .

61The Supreme Soul is the Father of all of us souls.

58Yah tō bahut simple hai . 59Parantu manuṣhya itnī bāt bhī nahī̃ samajhtē .

62This is very simple, but people don't even understand this much.

60Tum samjhā saktē hō ki yah hai rāvaṇ rājya , isliē tumhārī buddhi bhraṣhṭāchārī ban gaī hai .

63You can explain that this is the kingdom of Ravan and that is why their intellects have become corrupt.

61Manuṣhya samajhtē haĩ jō vikār mē̃ nahī̃ jātē haĩ vah pāvan haĩ .

64People think that those who don’t indulge in vice are pure.

62Jaisē sanyāsī haĩ . 63Bāp kahtē haĩ vah tō alpkāl kē liē pāvan bantē haĩ . 64Duniyā tō phir bhī patit hai nā .

65For example, the Father says of the sannyasis: They become pure for a temporary period, but the world is still impure.

65Pāvan duniyā hai hī satyug .

66The golden age is the pure world.

66Patit duniyā mē̃ satyug jaisā pāvan kōī hō nahī̃ saktā .

67No one in the impure world can be as pure as the people in the golden age.

67Vahā̃ tō rāvaṇ rājya hī nahī̃ , vikār key|kī bāt hī nahī̃ .

68There is no kingdom of Ravan there; there is no question of vice there.

68Tō chakra lagātē ghūmtē-phirtē buddhi mē̃ yah chintan rahnā chāhiē .

69So, whilst touring and moving around, let there be these thoughts in your intellects.

69Bābā mē̃ yah gyān hai nā .

70Baba has this knowledge in Him.

70Gyān sāgar hai tō jarūr gyān ṭapaktā hōgā .

71He is the Ocean of Knowledge and so the knowledge would definitely trickle from Him.

71Tum bhī gyān sāgar sē nikalī huī nadiyā̃ hō .

72You are rivers that have emerged from the Ocean of Knowledge.

72Vah tō ever sāgar hī hai , tum ever sāgar nahī̃ hō .

73He is constantly the Ocean. 74You are not constantly oceans.

73Tum bachchē samajhtē hō ham tō sab bhāī haĩ .

75You children understand that you are all brothers.

74Tum bachchē paṛhtē hō , vāstav mē̃ nadiyō̃ ādi key|kī bāt nahī̃ .

76You children are studying. 77In fact, it is not a question of rivers etc.

75Nadī kahnē sē gaṅgā jamunā ādi kah dētē haĩ .

78When you speak of rivers, they mention the Ganges, the Jamuna, etc.

76Tum abhī bēhad mē̃ khaṛē hō .

79You are now standing in the unlimited.

77Ham sab ātmāyē̃ ēk bāp K|kē bachchē bhāī haĩ .

80All of us souls are brothers, children of the one Father.

78Abhī hamē̃ vāpis ghar jānā hai . 79Jahā̃ sē ākar śharīr rūpī takht par virājmān hōtē haĩ .

81We now have to return home from where we will then go down and enter bodies and sit on our thrones (foreheads).

80Bahut chhōṭī ātmā hai , sākṣhātkār hōnē sē samajh na sakē̃ .

82A soul is very tiny. 83If you were to have a vision of one, you wouldn't understand anything.

81Ātmā nikaltī hai tō kabhī kahtē haĩ māthē sē nikalī , āṅkhō̃ sē , mukh sē nikalī … mukh khul jātā hai .

84They say that when a soul leaves a body, he sometimes leaves through the head, sometimes through the eyes, sometimes through the mouth. 85The mouth remains open then.

82Ātmā śharīr chhōṛ chalī jātī hai tō śharīr jaṛ hō jātā hai .

86When a soul leaves a body and departs, the body becomes non-living.

83Yah gyān hai .

87This is knowledge.

84Student key|kī buddhi mē̃ sārā din paṛhāī rahtī hai .

88The studies of students remain in their intellects throughout the day.

85Tumhārē bhī sārā din paṛhāī K|kē hī khyālāt chalnē chāhiē .

89You too should just have thoughts of this study throughout the day.

86Achchhē-achchhē student K|kē hāth mē̃ sadaiv kōī na kōī kitāb rahtī hai .

90Good students always have one book or another in their hands.

87Paṛhtē rahtē haĩ .

91They are continually studying.

88Bāp kahtē haĩ tumhārā yah antim janm hai , sārā chakra lagākar ant mē̃ āyē hō tō buddhi mē̃ yahī simraṇ rahnā chāhiē .

92The Father says: This is your last birth. 93You have been around the whole cycle and have now come to the end. 94Therefore, let there just be these thoughts in your intellects.

89Dhārṇā kar aurō̃ kō samjhānā chāhiē .

95Imbibe these and then explain to others.

90Kōī kō tō dhārṇā hōtī hī nahī̃ .

96Some are unable to imbibe anything at all.

91School mē̃ bhī number-vār student hōtē haĩ .

97In a school too, students are numberwise.

92Subject bhī bahut hōtī haĩ .

98There are many subjects too.

93Yahā̃ tō subject ēk hī hai .

99Here, you have just the one subject.

94Dēvtā bannā hai , yahī paṛhāī kā chintan chaltā rahē .

100You have to become deities. 101Let there be concern for just this study.

95Aisē nahī̃ , paṛhāī bhūl jāyē bākī aur-aur khyālāt chaltē rahē̃ .

102It should not be that you forget to study and continue to have other thoughts.

96Dhandhē vālā hōgā , apnē dhandhē K|kē hī khyālāt mē̃ lagā rahēgā .

103Businessmen would always be thinking about their business.

97Student paṛhāī mē̃ hī lagā rahēgā .

104Students would always remain busy with their studies.

98Tum bachchō̃ kō bhī apnī paṛhāī mē̃ rahnā hai .

105You children also have to remain busy with your study.

99Kal ēk nimantraṇ patra āyā thā international yōg conference kā .

106Yesterday, Baba received an invitation to the International Yoga Conference.

100Tum unhō̃ kō likh saktē hō tumhārā tō yah hai haṭhyōg .

107You can write and tell them that theirs is hatha yoga.

101Iskī aim object kyā hai  ?

108What is the aim and objective of that?

102Issē fāydā kyā hōtā hai  ?

109What is the benefit of that?

103Ham tō rājyōg sīkh rahē haĩ .

110We are studying Raja Yoga.

104Parampitā paramātmā jō gyān sāgar hai , vah rachayitā hamkō apnā aur rachnā kā gyān sunātē haĩ .

111The Creator, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who is the Ocean of Knowledge, is giving us this knowledge of ourselves and creation.

105Ab hamkō vāpis ghar jānā hai .

112We now have to return home.

106Manmanābhav - yah hai hamārā mantra .

113Our mantra is "Manmanabhav".

107Ham bāp kō aur bāp dvārā jō varsā miltā hai , uskō yād kartē haĩ .

114We remember Baba and the inheritance that we receive from the Father.

108Tum yah haṭhyōg ādi kartē āyē hō , iskī aim object kyā hai  ?

115You have been doing hatha yoga etc., but what is its aim and objective?

109Hamnē apnā tō batāyā ki ham yah sīkh rahē haĩ .

116We have told you ours and that is why we are studying this.

110Tumhārē is haṭhyōg sē kyā miltā hai  ?

117What can be received through that hatha yoga of yours?

111Aisā respond nutshell mē̃ likhnā hai .

118You should write such a response in a nutshell.

112Aisē-aisē nimantraṇ tō tumhārē pās|pass bahut ātē haĩ .

119You receive many such invitations.

113All India religious conference kā tumkō nimantraṇ āyē aur tumkō bōlē - āpkā aim object kyā hai  ? 114Tō bōlō ham yah sīkh rahē haĩ .

120If you were to receive an All India Religious Conference invitation and they asked you what your aim and objective is, tell them that this is what we are studying.

115Apnā jarūr batānā chāhiē , kyō̃  ? 116Yah rājyōg tum sīkh rahē hō .

121You must definitely tell them what you do and why you study this Raja Yoga.

117Bōlō ham yah paṛh rahē haĩ .

122Tell them: We are studying this.

118Hamkō paṛhānē vālā bhagvān hai , ham sab brothers haĩ .

123It is God who teaches us and we are all brothers.

119Ham apnē kō ātmā samajhtē haĩ .

124We consider ourselves to be souls.

120Bēhad kā bāp kahtē haĩ apnē kō ātmā samajh māmēkam yād karō tō tumhārē pāp kaṭ jāyēṅgē .

125The unlimited Father says: Consider yourselves to be souls and constantly remember Me alone and your sins will be cut away.

121Aisī-aisī likhat bahut achchhī rīti chhapākar rakh dō .

126You should have such writing printed and kept for giving out.

122Phir jahā̃-jahā̃ conference ādi hō vahā̃ bhēj dō .

127Then, wherever conferences etc. take place, send them there.

123Kahē̃gē yah tō bahut achchhē kāydē key|kī bāt sīkhtē haĩ .

128They will say: You teach very benevolent things.

124Is rājyōg sē rājāō̃ kā rājā viśhva kā mālik bantē haĩ .

129Through this Raja Yoga, you become kings of kings and the masters of the world.

125Her|har 5 hazār varṣh bād ham dēvtā bantē haĩ phir manuṣhya bantē haĩ .

130Every 5000 years we become deities and then we become human beings.

126Aisē-aisē vichār sāgar manthan kar first class likhat banānī chāhiē .

131You should churn the ocean of knowledge in this way and write first-class articles.

127Uddēśhya tumsē pūchh saktē haĩ .

132Anyone can ask you what your aim is.

128Tō yah chhapā huā rakhā hō , hamārī aim object yah hai .

133So, you should have these articles printed: This is our aim and objective.

129Aisē likhnē sē temptation hōgī .

134When you write this, they will be tempted.

130Ismē̃ kōī haṭhyōg vā śhāstrārth karnē key|kī bāt nahī̃ .

135There is no question of hatha yoga or of debating scriptures in this.

131Unkō śhāstrārth kā bhī kitnā ahaṅkār rahtā hai .

136Those people have so much arrogance of their knowledge of the scriptures.

132Vē|way apnē kō śhāstrō̃ key|kī authority samajhtē haĩ .

137They consider themselves to be authorities of the scriptures.

133Vāstav mē̃ tō vah pujārī haĩ , authority tō pūjya kō kahē̃gē .

138In fact, they are worshippers, whereas it could be said that those who are worthy of worship are authorities.

134Pujārī kō kyā kahē̃gē  ?

139What would worshippers be called?

135Tō yah clear kar likhnā chāhiē - ham kyā sīkhtē haĩ .

140You should write very clearly what you are studying.

136Be|B . K|kē . kā nām tō maśhhūr hō gayā hai .

141The name of the BKs has become very well known.

137Yōg tō dō prakār kā hai - ēk hai haṭhyōg , dūsrā hai sahaj yōg .

142There are two types of yoga: one is hatha yoga and the other is easy yoga.

138Vah tō kōī manuṣhya sikhlā na sakē .

143No human being can teach this.

139Rājyōg ēk paramātmā hī sikhlātē haĩ .

144Only the Supreme Soul teaches Raja Yoga.

140Bākī yah anēk prakār K|kē yōg haĩ manuṣhya mat par .

145All other types of yoga are based on human dictates.

141Vahā̃ dēvtāō̃ kō tō kiskē mat key|kī darkār nahī̃ kyōṅki varsā liyā huā hai .

146There, the deities do not need anyone's directions because they have received their inheritance.

142Vah haĩ dēvtāyē̃ arthāt daivīguṇ vālē , jinmē̃ aisē guṇ nahī̃ unkō asur kahā jātā hai .

147They are deities, those with divine virtues. 148Those who don't have any virtues are called devils.

143Dēvtāō̃ kā rājya thā phir vah kahā̃ gayē  ?

149There used to be the kingdom of the deities, so where did they go?

14484 janm kaisē liē  ?

150How did they take 84 births?

145Sīṛhī par samjhānā chāhiē .

151You should explain the picture of the ladder.

146Sīṛhī baṛī achchhī hai .

152The picture of the ladder is very good.

147Jō tumhārī dil mē̃ hai vah is sīṛhī mē̃ hai .

153Whatever is in your heart is shown in the picture of the ladder.

148Sārā madār paṛhāī par hai .

154Everything depends on how you study.

149Paṛhāī hai source of income .

155A study is a source of income.

150Yah hai sabsē ūñchī paṛhāī . 151The best .

156This is the highest study; it is the best.

152Duniyā nahī̃ jāntī ki the best kaun-sī paṛhāī hai .

157The world doesn't know which study is the best.

153Is paṛhāī sē manuṣhya sē dēvtā double crown ban jātē haĩ .

158Through this study, you change from human beings into double-crowned deities.

154Abhī tum double sirtāj bannē kā purūṣhārth kar rahē hō .

159You are now making effort to become double-crowned.

155Paṛhāī ēk hī hai phir kōī kyā bantē , kōī kyā  !
