Essence

1 «  mīṭhē bachchē - drama key|kī yathārth knowledge sē hī tum achal , aḍōl aur ēkras rah saktē hō , māyā K|kē tūphān tumhē̃ hilā nahī̃ saktē ' '

1Essence: Sweet children, only by having accurate knowledge of the drama can you remain unshakeable, immovable and stable and have a constant stage: storms of Maya cannot shake you.

Question

2Praśhna  : dēvtāō̃ kā mukhya ēk kaun-sā guṇ tum bachchō̃ mē̃ sadā dikhāī dēnā chāhiē  ?

2Question: What one main virtue of the deities should always be visible in you children?

Answer

3Uttar  : harṣhit rahnā .

3Answer: Staying cheerful.

4Dēvtāō̃ kō sadā muskarātē huē harṣhit dikhātē haĩ .

4Deities are constantly shown as cheerful and smiling.

5Aisē tum bachchō̃ kō bhī sadā harṣhit rahnā hai , kōī bhī bāt hō , muskarātē rahō .

5Similarly, you children also have to stay constantly cheerful. 6No matter what happens, simply continue to smile.

6Kabhī bhī udāsī yā gussā nahī̃ ānā chāhiē .

7Never allow there to be sadness or anger.

7Jaisē bāp tumhē̃ right aur wrong key|kī samjhānī dētē haĩ , kabhī gussā nahī̃ kartē , udās nahī̃ hōtē , aisē tum bachchō̃ kō bhī udās nahī̃ hōnā hai .

8The Father gives you the understanding of what is right and what is wrong and never becomes angry or unhappy with you. 9So, you children too must not become unhappy.

Murli

8Ōm śhānti .

10Om shanti.

9Bēhad K|kē bachchō̃ kō bēhad kā bāp samjhātē haĩ .

11The unlimited Father explains to you unlimited children.

10Laukik bāp tō aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

12A physical father would not say this.

11Unkē tō karkē 5-7 bachchē hōṅgē .

13He would perhaps have five to seven children.

12Yah tō jō sabhī ātmāyē̃ haĩ , āpas mē̃ brothers haĩ .

14Here, all the souls, among themselves are brothers.

13Un sabkā jarūr bāp hōgā .

15There must definitely be the Father of all of them.

14Kahtē bhī haĩ ham sab bhāī haĩ . 15Sabkē liē kahtē haĩ .

16People say that they are all brothers and they say this about everyone.

16Jō bhī āyēṅgē , unkē liē kahē̃gē ham bhāī haĩ .

17For anyone who comes, they would say: We are brothers.

17Drama mē̃ tō sabhī bāndhē huē haĩ , jiskō kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

18All are tied in this drama that no one knows about.

18Yah na jānnā bhī drama mē̃ nūndh hai .

19Not to know is also fixed in the drama.

19Jō bāp hī ākar sunātē haĩ , kathāyē̃ ādi jab baiṭh sunātē haĩ tō kahtē haĩ - parampitā paramātmāē namaḥ . 20Ab vah kaun hai - yah jāntē nahī̃ .

20Only the Father comes and tells you all of this. 21When people relate religious stories, they say: Salutations to the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, but they don't know who He is.

21Kahtē haĩ brahmā dēvtā , viṣhṇu dēvtā , śhaṅkar dēvtā parantu samajh sē nahī̃ kahtē haĩ .

22They say: Deity Brahma, Deity Vishnu and Deity Shankar, but they do not say this with understanding.

22Brahmā kō vāstav mē̃ dēvtā nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

23In fact, Brahma should not be called a deity.

23Dēvtā viṣhṇu kō kahā jātā hai .

24Vishnu is called a deity.

24Brahmā kā kiskō bhī patā nahī̃ hai .

25No one knows about Brahma.

25Viṣhṇu dēvtā ṭhīk hai , śhaṅkar kā tō kuchh bhī part hai nahī̃ . 26Unkī biography nahī̃ hai , śhivbābā key|kī tō biography hai .

26It is right to say, "Deity Vishnu", but Shankar has no part; there is no biography of him. 27There is a biography of Shiv Baba.

27Vah ātē hī haĩ patitō̃ kō pāvan banānē , naī duniyā sthāpan karnē .

28He comes here to make impure ones pure and to establish the new world.

28Abhī ēk ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm key|kī sthāpanā aur sab dharmō̃ kā vināśh hōtā hai .

29The one original eternal deity religion is now being established and all the other religions are to be destroyed.

29Sabhī kahā̃ jātē haĩ  ?

30Where does everyone go?

30Śhāntidhām .

31To the land of peace.

31Śharīr tō sabkē vināśh hōnē haĩ .

32Everyone's body is to be destroyed.

32Naī duniyā mē̃ hōṅgē hī sirph tum .

33In the new world, there will just be you.

33Jō bhī mukhya dharm haĩ , unkō tum jāntē hō .

34You know all the main religions.

34Sabkē tō nām lē nahī̃ sakē̃gē . 35Chhōṭī-chhōṭī ṭāl-ṭāliyā̃ tō bahut haĩ .

35You cannot mention the names of all of them; there are many small branches and twigs.

36Pahlē-pahlē hai Deityism phir islāmī .

36First of all, there is deityism and then there is the Islam religion.

37Yah bātē̃ sivāē tum bachchō̃ K|kē aur kōī key|kī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ haĩ .

37These things are not in the intellect of anyone except you children.

38Abhī vah ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm prāyaḥlōp hai isliē banyan tree kā misāl dētē haĩ .

38That original eternal deity religion has now disappeared and this is why the example of a banyan tree is given.

39Sārā jhāṛ khaṛā hai . 40Foundation hai nahī̃ .

39The whole tree is standing, but it doesn't have a foundation.

41Sabsē baṛī āyu is banyan tree key|kī hōtī hai .

40It is the banyan tree that has the greatest lifespan.

42Tō ismē̃ sabsē baṛī āyu hai ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm key|kī .

41It is the deity religion that has the greatest duration.

43Vah jab prāyaḥ lōp hō tab tō bāp ākar kahē ki abhī ēk dharm key|kī sthāpanā aur anēk dharmō̃ kā vināśh hōnā hai , isliē trimūrti bhī banāyā hai . 44Parantu arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ .

42When that disappears, the Father can come and say: Now the one religion has to be established and the other religions have to be destroyed. 43This is why the Trimurti has been created, but they don't understand the meaning of that.

45Tum bachchē jāntē hō ūñch tē ūñch bhagvān hai phir brahmā-viṣhṇu-śhaṅkar , phir sr̥iṣhṭi par ātē haĩ tō dēvī-dēvatāō̃ K|kē sivāē aur kōī dharm hai nahī̃ .

44You children know that God is the Highest on High, and that then there are Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar. 45Then, when you come onto the earth, apart that of the deities, there are none of those of other religions.

46Bhakti mārg key|kī bhī drama mē̃ nūndh hai .

46The path of devotion is also fixed in the drama.

47Pahlē śhiv key|kī bhakti kartē phir dēvtāō̃ key|kī .

47First of all, people worship Shiva and then the deities.

48Bhārat key|kī hī tō bāt hai . 49Bākī tō samajhtē haĩ hamārā dharm , maṭh , panth kab sthāpan hōtā hai .

48This applies to Bharat alone, because all the rest of the people know when their religion or sect was established.

50Jaisē ārya lōg kahtē haĩ ham bahut purānē haĩ .

49The Aryans say: We are very ancient.

51Vāstav mē̃ sabsē purānā tō hai hī ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm .

50In fact, the oldest is the original eternal deity religion.

52Tum jab jhāṛ par samjhātē hō tō khud bhī samajh lē̃gē ki hamārā dharm phalānē samay par āyēgā .

51When you explain the picture of the tree, they can understand for themselves that their religion begins at such-and-such a time.

53Sabkō jō anādi avināśhī part milā huā hai sō bajānā hai , ismē̃ kōī kā dōṣh vā bhūl nahī̃ kah saktē haĩ .

52Everyone has to play their original and eternally predestined part that they have received. 53You cannot blame anyone or say that it is anyone's mistake.

54Yah tō sirph samjhāyā jātā hai pāp ātmā kyō̃ banē haĩ .

54It is just explained why they have become sinful souls.

55Manuṣhya kahē̃gē ham bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē sab bachchē haĩ , phir sab brothers satyug mē̃ kyō̃ nahī̃ haĩ  ?

55People say that they are all the children of the unlimited Father. 56So, why are all the brothers not in the golden age?

56Parantu drama mē̃ part hī nahī̃ hai .

57However, that is not part of the drama.

57Yah anādi drama banā huā hai , ismē̃ niśhchay rakhō , aur kōī bāt bōlō nahī̃ .

58This eternal drama is predestined. 59Have faith in it and do not say anything else!

58Chakra bhī dikhāyā hai - kaisē yah phirtā hai .

60You have been shown how the cycle turns.

59Kalpa vr̥ikṣha kā bhī chitra hai . 60Parantu yah kōī jāntē nahī̃ ki inkī āyu kitnī hai .

61There is also the picture of the kalpa tree but no one knows what its duration is.

61Bāp kōī key|kī nindā nahī̃ kartē haĩ . 62Yah tō samjhāyā jātā hai , tumkō bhī samjhātē haĩ tum kitnē pāvan thē , abhī patit banē hō tō pukārtē hō - hē patit-pāvan āō .

62The Father does not defame anyone; He only explains. 63He also explains to you how you were so pure. 64Now that you have become impure, you call out: O Purifier, come!

63Pahlē tō tum sabkō pāvan bannā hai . 64Phir number-vār part bajānē ānā hai .

65First of all, you all have to become pure and then come down to play your parts, numberwise.

65Ātmāyē̃ sab ūpar mē̃ rahtī haĩ .

66All souls reside up above.

66Bāp bhī ūpar mē̃ rahtē haĩ , phir unkō bulātē haĩ ki āō .

67The Father too resides up above and you then call out to Him to come.

67Aisē vah bulānē sē ātē nahī̃ haĩ .

68He doesn't come by your calling Him.

68Bāp kahtē haĩ mērā bhī drama mē̃ part nūndhā huā hai .

69The Father says: My part is also fixed in the drama.

69Jaisē had K|kē drama mē̃ bhī baṛē-baṛē mukhya actors kā part hōtā hai , yah phir hai bēhad kā drama .

70Just as the main actors in a limited drama have a main part, so this is an unlimited drama.

70Sab drama K|kē bandhan mē̃ bāndhē huē haĩ , iskā matlab yah nahī̃ hai ki dhāgē mē̃ bāndhē huē hō . 71Nahī̃ .

71All are tied in the bondage of this drama. 72This does not mean that you are tied with a string; no.

72Yah bāp samjhātē haĩ . 73Vah hai jaṛ jhāṛ .

73The Father explains that those trees are non-sentient.

74Agar bīj chaitanya hōtā tō uskō mālūm hōtā nā ki yah kaisē jhāṛ baṛā hō phir phal dēgē .

74If the seed were sentient, it would know how the tree grows and how it bears fruit.

75Yah tō hai chaitanya bīj is manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi rūpī jhāṛ kā , iskō ulṭā jhāṛ kahā jātā hai .

75That One is the Sentient Seed of this human world tree. 76It is called the inverted tree.

76Bāp tō hai knowledgeful , unkō sārē jhāṛ key|kī knowledge hai .

77The Father is knowledge-full. 78He has the knowledge of the whole tree.

77Yah hai vahī gītā key|kī knowledge . 78Kōī naī bāt nahī̃ hai .

79This is the same knowledge of the Gita; it is not anything new.

79Yahā̃ bābā kōī śhlōk ādi nahī̃ uchchārtē haĩ .

80Baba is not reciting any verses here.

80Vō lōg granth paṛhkar phir arth|earth baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

81Those people study the Granth and then sit and explain its meaning.

81Bāp samjhātē haĩ yah hai paṛhāī , ismē̃ śhlōk ādi key|kī darkār nahī̃ .

82The Father explains: This is a study. 83There is no need for verses in this.

82Un śhāstrō̃ key|kī paṛhāī mē̃ kōī aim-object hai nahī̃ .

84There is no aim or objective in studying those scriptures.

83Kahtē bhī haĩ gyān , bhakti , vairāgya .

85They speak of knowledge, devotion and disinterest.

84Yah purānī duniyā vināśh hōtī hai .

86This old world is to be destroyed.

85Sannyāsiyō̃ kā hai had kā vairāgya , tumhārā hai bēhad kā vairāgya .

87Sannyasis have limited disinterest whereas you have unlimited disinterest.

86Śhaṅkarāchārya ātē haĩ tab vah baiṭh sikhlātē haĩ ghar bār sē vairāgya .

88When Shankaracharya comes, he sits and teaches people to have disinterest in their homes and families.

87Vah bhī śhurū mē̃ śhāstra ādi nahī̃ sikhātē .

89He doesn't teach the scriptures etc. in the beginning.

88Jab bahut vr̥iddhi hōtī jātī hai tab śhāstra banānē śhurū kartē haĩ .

90It is only when there has been a lot of expansion that people begin to write the scriptures.

89Pahlē-pahlē tō dharm sthāpan karnē vālā ēk hī hōtā hai phir āhistē-āhistē vr̥iddhi kō pātē haĩ .

91When a religion is first being established, there is just one person and then expansion gradually takes place.

90Yah bhī samajhnā hai . 91Sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ pahlē-pahlē kaun-sā dharm thā .

92You also have to understand what religion was the first one in the world.

92Abhī tō anēk dharm haĩ .

93There are now many religions.

93Ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm thā , jiskō svarg heaven kahtē haĩ .

94There used to be the original eternal deity religion which was called heaven.

94Tum bachchē rachayitā aur rachnā kō jānnē sē āstik ban jātē hō .

95By knowing the Creator and creation, you children become theists.

95Nāstikpanē kā kitnā duḥkh hōtā hai , nidhankē ban paṛtē haĩ , āpas mē̃ laṛtē-jhagaṛtē rahtē haĩ .

96There is so much sorrow when you are atheists. 97You become orphans and continue to fight and quarrel amongst yourselves.

96Kahtē haĩ nā - tum āpas mē̃ laṛtē rahtē hō , tumhārā kōī dhanī dhōṇī nahī̃ hai kyā  ?

98It is said: You continually fight amongst yourselves. 99Do you not have a lord and master?

97Is samay sab nidhankē ban paṛtē haĩ .

100At this time, all are orphans.

98Naī duniyā mē̃ pavitratā , sukh , śhānti sab thā , apār sukh thē .

101In the new world, there was purity, peace and happiness, in fact there, there was limitless happiness.

99Yahā̃ aparamapār duḥkh haĩ .

102Here, there is limitless sorrow.

100Vah haĩ satyug K|kē , yah haĩ kaliyug K|kē , abhī tumhārā hai purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug .

103That is in the golden age and this is in the iron age. 104This is now your most auspicious confluence age.

101Yah purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug ēk hī hōtā hai .

105There is just one auspicious confluence age.

102Satyug-trētā K|kē saṅgam kō purūṣhōttam nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

106The confluence of the golden and silver ages cannot be called auspicious.

103Yahā̃ haĩ asur , vahā̃ haĩ dēvtāyē̃ .

107There are deities there and devils here.

104Tum jāntē hō yah rāvaṇ rājya hai .

108You know that this is the kingdom of Ravan.

105Rāvaṇ kē ūpar gadhē kā śhīśh dikhātē haĩ .

109They show a donkey’s head on the head of Ravan.

106Gadhē kō kitnā bhī sāph kar us par kapṛē rakhō , gadhā phir bhī miṭṭī mē̃ lēṭkar kapṛē kharāb kar dēgā .

110No matter how clean you make a donkey before you place the laundry on him, he will roll in the dust and spoil all the clothes.

107Bāp tumhārē kapṛē sāph gul-gul banātē haĩ , phir rāvaṇ rājya mē̃ lithaṛ kar , apavitr ban jātē hō .

111The Father cleans your clothes and makes you beautiful and you then roll around in the kingdom of Ravan and become impure.

108Ātmā aur śharīr dōnō̃ apavitr ban jātē haĩ .

112Both souls and bodies become impure.

109Bāp kahtē haĩ tumnē sārā śhrr̥iṅgār ganvā diyā .

113The Father says: You lost all your decoration. 114The Father is called the Purifier.

110Bāp kō patit-pāvan kahtē haĩ , tum bharī sabhā mē̃ kah saktē hō ki ham golden age mē̃ kitnē śhrr̥iṅgārē huē thē , kitnā first class rājya-bhāgya thā . 111Phir māyā rūpī dhūl mē̃ lithaṛ kar mailē hō gayē .

115You can say in a full gathering how decorated you were in the golden age. 116You had such a first-class fortune of the kingdom, and you then rolled around in the dust of Maya and became dirty.

112Bāp kahtē haĩ yah andhērī nagarī hai .

117The Father says: This is the city of darkness.

113Bhagvān kō sarvavyāpī kah diyā hai , jō kuchh huā vah hūbahū repeat hōgā , ismē̃ mūnjhnē key|kī darkār nahī̃ hai .

118They have said that God is omnipresent. 119Whatever happened, it will repeat identically. 120There is no need to be confused about this.

1145 hazār varṣh mē̃ kitnē minute , ghaṇṭē , second haĩ , ēk bachchē nē sab dharm vālō̃ kā hisāb nikālkar bhējā thā , ismē̃ bhī buddhi vyarth key|kī hōgī .

121A child calculated how many hours, minutes and seconds there are of each religion in the 5000 years and sent this calculation to Baba. 122He must have wasted his intellect on that.

115Bābā tō aisē hī samjhātē haĩ ki duniyā kaisē chaltī hai .

123Baba just explains how the world continues.

116Prajāpitā brahmā hai great-great grand father .

124Prajapita Brahma is the great great grandfather.

117Unkā occupation kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

125No one knows his occupation.

118Virāṭ rūp banāyā hai tō prajāpitā brahmā kō bhī uṛā diyā hai .

126They have created a variety-form image but they have put Prajapita Brahma aside.

119Bāp aur brāhmaṇō̃ kō yathārth rīti jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .

127They don't know the Father or the Brahmins accurately.

120Unkō kahtē bhī haĩ ādi dēv .

128They call him Adi Dev.

121Bāp samjhātē haĩ maĩ is jhāṛ kā chaitanya bījrūp hū̃ .

129The Father explains: I am the Sentient Seed of this tree.

122Yah ulṭā jhāṛ hai .

130This is an inverted tree.

123Bāp jō satya hai , chaitanya hai , gyān kā sāgar hai , unkī hī mahimā kī jātī hai .

131The Father who is the Truth, the Sentient Being and the Ocean of Knowledge is praised.

124Ātmā na hō tō chal phir bhī na sakē̃ .

132If a body has no soul, it cannot move around.

125Garbh mē̃ bhī 5-6 mās kē bād ātmā pravēśh kartī hai .

133A soul enters a womb after four to five months.

126Yah bhī drama banā huā hai .

134This drama is predestined.

127Phir ātmā nikal jātī hai tō khalās .

135Then, when the soul leaves the body, everything is over.

128Ātmā avināśhī hai , vah part bajātī hai , yah bāp ākar realise karātē haĩ . 129Ātmā itnī chhōṭī bindī hai , usmē̃ avināśhī part bharā huā hai .

136A soul is imperishable and plays his part. 137The Father comes and makes you realise that a soul is such a tiny dot and has an imperishable part recorded in him.

130Parampitā bhī ātmā haĩ , unkō gyān kā sāgar kahā jātā hai .

138The Supreme Father too is a soul and He is called the Ocean of Knowledge.

131Vahī ātmā kā realisation karātē haĩ .

139He gives you realisation of souls.

132Vah tō sirph kah dētē paramātmā sarv śhaktimān , hazārō̃ sūrya sē tējōmay hai . 133Parantu samajhtē kuchh nahī̃ .

140Those people simply say that God is the Almighty Authority and that He is brighter than a thousand suns, but they don't understand anything.

134Bāp kahtē haĩ yah sab bhakti mārg mē̃ varṇan kiyā huā hai aur śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likh diyā hai .

141The Father says: They have described all of that on the path of devotion and written those things in the scriptures.

135Arjun kō sākṣhātkār huā tō kahā maĩ itnā tēj sahan nahī̃ kar saktā hū̃ , tō vah bāt manuṣhyō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ baiṭhī huī hai .

142When Arjuna was given a vision, he said: “I am unable to tolerate so much brightness.” 143So that idea became fixed in people's intellects.

136Itnā tējōmay kiskē andar pravēśh karē tō phaṭ jāē .

144If someone that bright were to enter someone, that person would explode.

137Gyān tō nahī̃ hai nā .

145They don't have any of this knowledge.

138Tō samajhtē haĩ paramātmā tō hazār sūrya sē tējōmay hai , hamkō unkā sākṣhātkār chāhiē .

146So, they think that the Supreme Soul is brighter than a thousand suns and they want to have a vision of Him.

139Bhakti key|kī bhāvnā baiṭhī huī hai tō unkō vah sākṣhātkār bhī hōtā hai .

147They have those loving feelings of devotion, and so they have a vision of that.

140Śhurū-śhurū mē̃ tumhārē pās|pass bhī aisē bahut sākṣhātkār kartē thē , āṅkhē lāl hō jātī thī .

148In the beginning, many people who came to you would have visions and their eyes would become red.

141Sākṣhātkār kiyā phir āj vah kahā̃ haĩ .

149They had visions, but where are they now?

142Vah sabhī haĩ bhakti mārg key|kī bātē̃ .

150All of those things belong to the path of devotion.

143Tō yah sab bāp samjhātē haĩ , ismē̃ glāni key|kī kōī bāt nahī̃ hai .

151The Father explains all of these things. 152There is no question of defamation in this.

144Bachchō̃ kō sadaiv harṣhit rahnā hai .

153You children should constantly remain cheerful.

145Yah tō drama banā huā hai .

154This drama is predestined.

146Mujhē itnī gāliyā̃ dētē haĩ , phir maĩ kyā kartā hū̃  ?

155People insult Me so much, but even then, what do I do?

147Gussā ātā hai kyā  !

156Do I become angry?

148Samajhtā hū̃ drama anusār yah sab bhakti mārg mē̃ phansē huē haĩ . 149Nārāz hōnē key|kī bāt hī nahī̃ hai .

157I understand that all of them are trapped on the path of devotion according to the drama, and so there is no need to get upset.

150Drama aisā banā huā hai .

Essence for dharna

178Dhārṇā kē liē mukhya sār  :

185Jō sōchkar nahī̃ kartē , karkē phir sōchtē haĩ tō paśhchātāp kā rūp hō jātā hai .

194Those who do not think before they act, who do something and then think about it afterwards, then have to repent.

186Pīchhē sōchnā , yah paśhchātāp kā rūp hai aur pahlē sōchnā - yah gyānī tū ātmā kā guṇ hai .

195To think about something afterwards is a form of repentance whereas to think about it beforehand is a quality of a knowledgeable soul.

187Dvāpar-kaliyug mē̃ tō anēk prakār K|kē paśhchātāp hī kartē rahē lēkin ab saṅgam par aisā sōch samajhkar saṅkalp vā karma karō jō kabhī man mē̃ bhī , ēk second bhī paśhchātāp na hō , tab kahē̃gē gyānī tū ātmā .
