⁰ 14/09/24 Morning Murli Om Shanti BapDada Madhuban

¹ «  mīṭhē bachchē - bāp key|kī śhrīmat par chalkar apnā śhrr̥iṅgār karō , parchintan sē apnā śhrr̥iṅgār mat bigāṛō , time west|waste na karō ' '

¹Essence: Sweet children, follow the Father's shrimat and decorate yourselves. ²Do not spoil your decoration by thinking about others. ³Do not waste your time.

²Praśhna  : tum bachchē bāp sē bhī tīkhē jādūgar hō - kaisē  ?

⁴Question: How are you children cleverer magicians than the Father?

³Uttar  : yahā̃ baiṭhē-baiṭhē tum in lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ jaisā apnā śhrr̥iṅgār kar rahē hō .

⁵Answer: Whilst sitting here, you are decorating yourselves to become like Lakshmi and Narayan.

⁴Yahā̃ baiṭhē apnē āpkō change kar rahē hō , yah bhī jādūgarī hai .

⁶While sitting here, you are changing yourselves: this too is magic.

⁵Sirph alpha kō yād karnē sē tumhārā śhrr̥iṅgār hō jātā hai .

⁷By remembering Alpha alone, you become decorated.

⁶Kōī hāth-pā̃v chalānē key|kī bhī bāt nahī̃ sirph vichār key|kī bāt hai .

⁸There is no need to use your hands and feet, for it is just a question of thinking about it.

⁷Yōg sē tum sāph , svachchha aur śhōbhnik ban jātē hō , tumhārī ātmā aur śharīr kañchan ban jātā hai , yah bhī kamāl hai nā .

⁹By having yoga, you become clean, pure and beautiful. ¹⁰Both you, the souls, and your bodies become pure and that too is a wonder.

⁸Ōm śhānti .

⁹Rūhānī jādūgar baiṭh rūhānī bachchō̃ kō , jō bāp sē bhī tīkhē jādūgar haĩ , unhō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ - tum yahā̃ kyā kar rahē hō  ?

¹²The spiritual Magician sits here and explains to you spiritual children, who are even cleverer magicians than the Father, what you are doing here.

¹⁰Yahā̃ baiṭhē-baiṭhē kōī churpur nahī̃ .

¹³While you sit here, there is no sound or movement.

¹¹Bāp athavā sājan , sajaniyō̃ kō yukti batā rahē haĩ .

¹⁴The Father, that is, the Bridegroom, is showing this method to the brides.

¹²Sājan kahtē haĩ - yahā̃ baiṭhē tum kyā kartē hō  ?

¹⁵The Beloved tells you what you are doing while you are sitting here.

¹³Apnē kō tum aisē lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ misal śhrr̥iṅgār rahē hō .

¹⁶You are decorating yourselves to become like Lakshmi and Narayan.

¹⁴Kōī samajhē̃gē  ?

¹⁷Would anyone believe this?

¹⁵Tum yahā̃ sab baiṭhē hō phir number-vār purūṣhārth anusār tō hō hī nā .

¹⁸All of you are sitting here but you are numberwise according to your efforts.

¹⁶Bāp kahtē haĩ aisē śhrr̥iṅgārē huē bannā hai .

¹⁹The Father says: You have to become decorated in that way.

¹⁷Tumhārī aim object hī yah hai bhaviṣhya amarpurī kē liē .

²⁰That is your aim and objective for the future land of immortality.

¹⁸Yahā̃ baiṭhē huē tum kyā kar rahē hō  ?

²¹What are you doing whilst sitting here?

¹⁹Paradise K|kē śhrr̥iṅgār kē liē purūṣhārth kar rahē hō .

²²You are making effort for the decoration of Paradise.

²⁰Iskō kyā kahē̃  ?

²³What would you call this?

²¹Yahā̃ baiṭhē huē apnē kō change kar rahē hō .

²⁴While sitting here, you are changing yourselves.

²²Uṭhtē , baiṭhtē , chaltē bāp nē ēk manmanābhav key|kī chābī dē dī hai .

²⁵The Father has given you the one key of “Manmanabhav” for when you sit and move around here.

²³Bas ēk sivāē iskē aur kōī bhī phāltū bātē̃ sun-sunākar time west|waste mat karō .

²⁶Apart from this, do not listen to or speak about useless things and thereby waste your time.

²⁴Tum apnē hī śhrr̥iṅgār mē̃ lagē rahō .

²⁷Simply remain engaged in decorating yourselves.

²⁵Dūsrā kartā hai vā nahī̃ , ismē̃ tumhārā kyā jātā hai  !

²⁸What does it matter to you whether someone does something or not?

²⁶Tum apnē purūṣhārth mē̃ rahō .

²⁹Simply remain absorbed in your efforts.

²⁷Kitnī samajh key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

³⁰This is a matter of understanding.

²⁸Kōī nayā sunēgā tō jarūr wonder khāyēgā .

³¹When a new person hears this, he would surely be amazed.

²⁹Tumhārē mē̃ kōī tō apnā śhrr̥iṅgār kar rahē haĩ , kōī tō aur hī bigāṛ rahē haĩ . ³⁰Parchintan ādi mē̃ time west|waste kartē rahtē haĩ .

³²Some of you are decorating yourselves whereas others are spoiling their decoration; they continue to waste their time thinking about others.

³¹Bāp bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ tum sirph apnē kō dēkhō ki ham kyā kar rahē haĩ .

³³The Father is telling you children to look only at yourselves and see what you are doing.

³²Bahut chhōṭī yukti batāī hai , bas ēk hī akṣhar hai - manmanābhav .

³⁴He has given you a very short method. ³⁵There is just the one word, "Manmanabhav!"

³³Tum yahā̃ baiṭhē hō parantu buddhi mē̃ hai ki sārī sr̥iṣhṭi kā chakra kaisē phirtā hai .

³⁶You are sitting here, but your intellects are aware of how the whole world cycle turns.

³⁴Abhī phir sē ham viśhva kā śhrr̥iṅgār kar rahē haĩ .

³⁷We are now once again decorating the world.

³⁵Tum kitnē padmāpadma bhāgyaśhālī hō .

³⁸You are multimillion times fortunate.

³⁶Yahā̃ baiṭhē-baiṭhē tum kitnā kārya kartē hō .

³⁹While sitting here, you are carrying out so many tasks.

³⁷Kōī hāth-pā̃v tō chalānē key|kī bāt hī nahī̃ hai .

⁴⁰This is not a question of using your hands or feet.

³⁸Sirph vichār key|kī bāt hai .

⁴¹It is just a matter of your thoughts.

³⁹Tum kahē̃gē ham yahā̃ baiṭhē ūñch tē ūñch viśhva kā śhrr̥iṅgār kar rahē haĩ .

⁴²You would say: While sitting here, we are decorating ourselves for the highest-on-high world.

⁴⁰Manmanābhav kā mantra kitnā ūñch hai .

⁴³The mantra of “Manmanabhav” is so elevated.

⁴¹Is yōg sē hī tumhārē pāp bhasma hōtē jāyēṅgē aur tum sāph bantē-bantē phir kitnē śhōbhnik hō jāyēṅgē .

⁴⁴It is by having this yoga that your sins will continue to be burnt away and, while becoming clean, you will become very beautiful.

⁴²Abhī ātmā patit hai tō śharīr key|kī bhī hālat dēkhō kyā hō gaī hai .

⁴⁵Souls are now impure, and so look at the condition bodies have reached.

⁴³Ab tumhārī ātmā aur kāyā kañchan ban jāyēgī .

⁴⁶You souls and your bodies will now become pure.

⁴⁴Yah kamāl hai nā .

⁴⁷This is a wonder!

⁴⁵Tō aisā apnā śhrr̥iṅgār karnā hai . ⁴⁶Daivīguṇ bhī dhāraṇ karnē haĩ .

⁴⁸So, you have to decorate yourselves in this way and imbibe divine virtues too.

⁴⁷Bāp sabhī kō ēk hī rāstā batātē haĩ - alpha bē .

⁴⁹The Father shows all of you the same path: Alpha and beta.

⁴⁸Sirph alpha key|kī bāt hai .

⁵⁰It is a matter of just Alpha.

⁴⁹Bāp kō yād kartē rahō tō tumhārā śhrr̥iṅgār sārā badal jāyēgā .

⁵¹Continue to remember the Father and your decoration will be totally changed.

⁵⁰Bāp sē bhī tum baṛē jādūgar hō .

⁵²You are even greater magicians than the Father.

⁵¹Tumkō yukti batātē haĩ ki aisā-aisā karnē sē tumhārā śhrr̥iṅgār ban jāyēgā .

⁵³You are shown the ways to become decorated. ⁵⁴By not decorating yourself, you create a loss for yourself unnecessarily.

⁵²Apnā śhrr̥iṅgār na karnē sē tum mupht apnē kō nuksān pahuñchātē hō .

⁵⁵At least you understand what you used to do on the path of devotion.

⁵³Itnā tō samajhtē hō ham bhakti mārg mē̃ kyā-kyā kartē thē .

⁵⁶Look what you have become through having spoilt your decorations totally!

⁵⁴Sārā śhrr̥iṅgār hī bigāṛ kar kyā ban gayē hō  ! ⁵⁵Ab ēk hī akṣhar sē , bāp kī yād sē tumhārā śhrr̥iṅgār hōtā hai .

⁵⁷You are now being decorated with just the one word, with remembrance of the Father.

⁵⁶Bachchō̃ kō kitnā achchhī rīti samjhākar fresh kartē haĩ .

⁵⁸Baba explains to you children so well and refreshes you.

⁵⁷Yahā̃ baiṭhē tum kyā kartē hō  ?

⁵⁹What are you doing while sitting here?

⁵⁸Yād kī yātrā mē̃ baiṭhē hō .

⁶⁰While you are sitting here, you are on the pilgrimage of remembrance.

⁵⁹Agar kōī kā khyāl aur aur taraph hōgā tō śhrr̥iṅgār thōṛēhī hōgā .

⁶¹If your thoughts go in other directions, you will not be decorated.

⁶⁰Tum śhrr̥iṅgārē hō tō phir aurō̃ kō bhī rāstā batānā hai .

⁶²You are being decorated and so you also have to show the path to others.

⁶¹Bāp ātē hī haĩ aisā śhrr̥iṅgār banānē .

⁶³The Father comes to decorate us in this way.

⁶²Kamāl śhivbābā āpkī , āp hamārā kitnā śhrr̥iṅgār kartē hō .

⁶⁴Shiv Baba, it is Your wonder that you are decorating us so much!

⁶³Uṭhtē , baiṭhtē , chaltē hamkō apnā śhrr̥iṅgār karnā hai .

⁶⁵While walking, sitting and moving around, we have to decorate ourselves.

⁶⁴Kōī tō apnā śhrr̥iṅgār kar phir dūsrō̃ kā bhī kartē haĩ .

⁶⁶Some decorate themselves and then decorate others too.

⁶⁵Kōī tō apnā bhī śhrr̥iṅgār nahī̃ kartē tō dūsrē kā bhī śhrr̥iṅgār bigāṛtē rahtē haĩ .

⁶⁷Some don't decorate themselves and then also continue to spoil the decoration of others.

⁶⁶Phāltū bātē̃ sunākar unkī avasthā kō bhī nīchē girā dētē haĩ .

⁶⁸They relate useless things and also bring down the other person's stage.

⁶⁷Khud bhī śhrr̥iṅgār sē rah jātē haĩ , tō dūsrē kō bhī rahā dētē haĩ .

⁶⁹Then that one deprives himself of the decoration and also deprives others of it.

⁶⁸Tō achchhī rīti sōch vichār karō - bābā kaisē-kaisē yukti batātē haĩ .

⁷⁰Therefore, think carefully about the methods that Baba gives us.

⁶⁹Bhakti mārg K|kē śhāstra paṛhnē sē yah yuktiyā̃ nahī̃ ātī haĩ .

⁷¹You don't learn these methods by studying the scriptures of the path of devotion.

⁷⁰Śhāstra tō haĩ bhakti mārg K|kē .

⁷²The scriptures belong to the path of devotion.

⁷¹Tumkō kahtē haĩ tum kyō̃ śhāstrō̃ kō nahī̃ māntē hō  ? ⁷²Bōlō , ham tō sab māntē haĩ .

⁷³When you are asked: “Why do you not believe in the scriptures?” tell them: We believe in everything.

⁷³Ādhākalp bhakti kī hai .

⁷⁴We have done devotion for half a cycle.

⁷⁴Śhāstra paṛhtē haĩ tō kaun nahī̃ mānē̃gē .

⁷⁵We read the scriptures, so why would we not believe in them?

⁷⁵Rāt aur din hōtē haĩ tō jarūr dōnō̃ kō mānē̃gē nā .

⁷⁶There is day and night, so we definitely accept both.

⁷⁶Yah hai bēhad kā din aur rāt .

⁷⁷This is an unlimited day and night.

⁷⁷Bāp kahtē haĩ - mīṭhē bachchō̃ , tum apnā śhrr̥iṅgār karō .

⁷⁸The Father says: Sweet children, decorate yourselves.

⁷⁸Time west|waste mat karō .

⁷⁹Do not waste your time.

⁷⁹Time bahut thōṛā hai .

⁸⁰There is very little time.

⁸⁰Tumhārī baṛī viśhāl buddhi chāhiē .

⁸¹Your intellects have to be very broad and unlimited.

⁸¹Āpas mē̃ bahut prēm hōnā chāhiē .

⁸²Let there be a lot of love amongst you.

⁸²Time west|waste nahī̃ karnā chāhiē kyōṅki tumhārā time tō bahut valuable hai .

⁸³You mustn't waste your time, because your time is very valuable.

⁸³Kauṛī sē hīrē jaisā tum bantē hō .

⁸⁴You are becoming like diamonds from shells.

⁸⁴Mupht mē̃ itnā thōṛēhī sun rahē hō .

⁸⁵You are not listening to all of this unnecessarily.

⁸⁵Kōī kathā hai kyā .

⁸⁶Is this a religious story?

⁸⁶Bāp akṣhar hī ēk sunātē haĩ .

⁸⁷The Father only tells you one word.

⁸⁷Baṛē-baṛē ādamiyō̃ kō jāstī bāt thōṛēhī karnī chāhiē .

⁸⁸Important people do not talk too much.

⁸⁸Bāp tō second mē̃ jīvanmukti kā rāstā batātē haĩ .

⁸⁹The Father shows you the path to liberation-in-life in a second.

⁸⁹Yah haĩ hī ūñch śhrr̥iṅgār vālē , tab tō unhō̃ K|kē hī chitra haĩ jinkō bahut pūjtē rahtē haĩ .

⁹⁰They (Lakshmi and Narayan) are beautifully decorated and this is why many people continue to worship their images.

⁹⁰Jitnā baṛā ādmī hōgā , utnā baṛā mandir banāyēṅgē , baṛā śhrr̥iṅgār karē̃gē .

⁹¹The greater the person, the bigger the temple that will be built and the more decorations that will be put on them.

⁹¹Āgē tō dēvtāō̃ K|kē chitra par hīrē kā hār pahnātē thē .

⁹²Previously, they used to garland the idols of the deities with diamond necklaces.

⁹²Bābā kō tō anubhav hai nā .

⁹³Baba has experienced this.

⁹³Bābā nē khud hīrē kā hār banāyā thā lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kē liē .

⁹⁴Baba himself made diamond necklaces for Lakshmi and Narayan.

⁹⁴Vāstav mē̃ tō unhō̃ jaisī yahā̃ paharvāis kōī banā na sakē .

⁹⁵In fact, no one here can make the costumes like they had.

⁹⁵Abhī tum banā rahē hō number-vār purūṣhārth anusār .

⁹⁶You are now making those, numberwise, according to your efforts.

⁹⁶Tō bāp samjhātē haĩ - bachchē , time west|waste na apnā karō , na aurō̃ kā karō .

⁹⁷The Father explains: Children, do not waste your time or the time of others.

⁹⁷Bāp yukti bahut sahaj batātē haĩ .

⁹⁸The Father is showing you a very easy way.

⁹⁸Mujhē yād karō tō pāp miṭ jāē̃ .

⁹⁹Remember Me and your sins will be erased.

⁹⁹Yād bigar itnā śhrr̥iṅgār hō na sakē .

¹⁰⁰You cannot have a lot of decoration unless you have remembrance.

¹⁰⁰Tum yah bannē vālē hō nā .

¹⁰¹You are going to become those.

¹⁰¹Daivī svabhāv dhāraṇ karnā hai .

¹⁰²You have to adopt divine natures.

¹⁰²Ismē̃ kahnē key|kī bhī darkār nahī̃ . ¹⁰³Parantu pattharbuddhi hōnē kāraṇ sab samjhānā paṛtā hai .

¹⁰³There should be no need to say anything for this but, because people have stone intellects, everything has to be explained.

¹⁰⁴Ēk second key|kī bāt hai .

¹⁰⁴It is a matter of a second.

¹⁰⁵Bāp kahtē haĩ - mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchō̃ , tumnē apnē bāp kō bhūlnē sē kitnā śhrr̥iṅgār bigāṛ diyā hai .

¹⁰⁵The Father says: Sweetest children, you have spoilt your decoration so much by forgetting your Father.

¹⁰⁶Bāp tō kahtē haĩ chaltē-phirtē śhrr̥iṅgār kartē rahō .

¹⁰⁶The Father says: Continue to decorate yourselves while walking and moving around.

¹⁰⁷Parantu māyā bhī cum|kam nahī̃ hai .

¹⁰⁷However, Maya is no less.

¹⁰⁸Kōī-kōī likhtē haĩ - bābā , āpkī māyā bahut taṅg kartī hai .

¹⁰⁸Some children write: Baba, your Maya harasses me a great deal.

¹⁰⁹Arē hamārī māyā kahā̃ hai , yah tō khēl hai nā  !

¹⁰⁹Oh! but she is not My Maya. ¹¹⁰This is just a play.

¹¹⁰Maĩ tō tumkō māyā sē chhuṛānē āyā hū̃ .

¹¹¹I have come to liberate you from Maya.

¹¹¹Mērī māyā phir kāhē key|kī .

¹¹²So, how can she be My Maya?

¹¹²Is samay pūrā hī inkā rājya hai .

¹¹³At this time, it is her kingdom completely.

¹¹³Jaisē is rāt aur din mē̃ phark nahī̃ hō saktā . ¹¹⁴Yah phir hai bēhad key|kī rāt aur din . ¹¹⁵Inmē̃ ēk second kā bhī phark nahī̃ hō saktā hai .

¹¹⁴Just as day and night cannot be any different, so too, this unlimited day and night cannot be different by even a second.

¹¹⁶Abhī tum bachchē number-vār purūṣhārth anusār aisā śhrr̥iṅgār kar rahē hō .

¹¹⁵You children are now decorating yourselves in this way, numberwise, according to your efforts.

¹¹⁷Bāp kahtē haĩ - chakravartī rājā bannā hai tō chakra phirātē rahō .

¹¹⁶The Father says: If you want to become rulers of the globe, continue to turn the cycle of self-realisation.

¹¹⁸Bhal gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahō , ismē̃ sārā buddhi sē kām lēnā hai .

¹¹⁷You may live at home with your families. ¹¹⁸Here, you have to do everything with your intellects.

¹¹⁹Ātmā mē̃ hī man-buddhi hai .

¹¹⁹The mind and intellect are in the soul.

¹²⁰Yahā̃ tumkō bāhar kā gōrakh dhandhā kuchh bhī nahī̃ hai .

¹²⁰Here, you don't have any external, mundane business.

¹²¹Yahā̃ ātē hī hō tum apnē kō śhrr̥iṅgārnē , refresh hōnē .

¹²¹You come here to refresh yourselves and decorate yourselves.

¹²²Bāp paṛhātē tō sabkō ēk hī jaisā haĩ .

¹²²The Father teaches everyone the same things.

¹²³Yahā̃ bābā pās|pass ātē haĩ naī-naī points sammukh sunnē , phir ghar mē̃ jātē haĩ tō jō kuchh sunā hai vah bāhar nikal jātā hai .

¹²³You come here to Baba personally to listen to new points and then, when you return home, whatever you heard here is forgotten.

¹²⁴Yahā̃ sē bāhar nikalnē sē hī jhōlī chhāṇṭ lētē haĩ . ¹²⁵Jō sunā us par manan-chitann nahī̃ kartē haĩ .

¹²⁴As soon as you leave here, you brush down your aprons; you don't churn the things you heard.

¹²⁶Tumhārē liē tō yahā̃ ēkānt kī jagah bahut hai .

¹²⁵There are many places of solitude for you here.

¹²⁷Bāhar mē̃ tō khaṭmal phirtē rahtē haĩ .

¹²⁶Outside, bedbugs continue to wander around.

¹²⁸Ēk-dō kā khūn kartē , pītē rahtē haĩ .

¹²⁷They kill one another and drink the blood.

¹²⁹Tō bāp bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ - yah tumhārā time most valuable hai , iskō tum west|waste mat karō .

¹²⁸The Father explains to you children: This time of yours is most valuable. ¹²⁹Do not waste it.

¹³⁰Apnē kō śhrr̥iṅgārnē key|kī bahut yuktiyā̃ milī haĩ .

¹³⁰You have been given many methods with which you can decorate yourselves.

¹³¹Maĩ sabkā uddhār karnē ātā hū̃ .

¹³¹I have come to uplift everyone.

¹³²Maĩ āyā hū̃ tumkō viśhva kī bādśhāhī dēnē .

¹³²I have come to give you the sovereignty of the world.

¹³³Tō ab mujhē yād karō , time west|waste mat karō .

¹³³Therefore, now remember Me. ¹³⁴Do not waste your time.

¹³⁴Kām-kāj kartē bhī bāp kō yād kartē rahō .

¹³⁵While doing your work, continue to remember the Father.

¹³⁵Itnī ḍhēr sab ātmāyē̃ āśhik haĩ ēk parampitā paramātmā māśhūk key|kī .

¹³⁶All of you many souls are lovers of the one Beloved, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.

¹³⁶Vah sab jismānī kathāyē̃ ādi tō tum bahut suntē hō .

¹³⁷You have heard many religious stories of the world.

¹³⁷Ab bāp kahtē haĩ vah sab bhūl jāō .

¹³⁸The Father says: Now forget all of those.

¹³⁸Bhakti mārg mē̃ tumnē mujhē yād kiyā aur vāydā bhī kiyā hai , ham āpkē hī banē̃gē .

¹³⁹On the path of devotion, you remembered Me and you also made a promise: I will belong to You alone.

¹³⁹Ḍhēr K|kē ḍhēr āśhikō̃ kā ēk māśhūk .

¹⁴⁰There is the one Beloved of so many lovers.

¹⁴⁰Bhakti mārg mē̃ kahtē haĩ - brahm mē̃ līn hōṅgē , yah sab haĩ phāltū bātē̃ . ¹⁴¹Ēk bhī manuṣhya mōkṣh kō nahī̃ pā saktā hai .

¹⁴¹On the path of devotion, they say: I will merge into the brahm element. ¹⁴²All of those matters are useless; not a single human being can attain eternal liberation.

¹⁴²Yah tō anādi drama hai , itnē sab actors haĩ , ismē̃ zarā bhī phark nahī̃ hō saktā hai .

¹⁴³This is an eternal drama. ¹⁴⁴All of them are actors in it and there cannot be the slightest difference.

¹⁴³Bāp kahtē haĩ sirph ēk alpha kō yād karō tō tumhārā yah śhrr̥iṅgār hō jāyēgā .

¹⁴⁵The Father says: Simply remember the one Alpha and you will become decorated.

¹⁴⁴Abhī tum yah ban rahē hō .

¹⁴⁶You are now becoming that.

¹⁴⁵Smr̥iti mē̃ ātā hai - anēk bār hamnē yah śhrr̥iṅgār kiyā hai .

¹⁴⁷You now remember that you have decorated yourselves many times.

¹⁴⁶Kalp-kalp bābā āp āyēṅgē , ham āpsē hī sunē̃gē .

¹⁴⁸Baba, You will come every cycle and we will listen to You alone.

¹⁴⁷Kitnī guhya-guhya points haĩ .

¹⁴⁹These points are so deep.

¹⁴⁸Bābā nē yukti bahut achchhī batāī hai .

¹⁵⁰Baba has shown you a very good method.

²⁴²Blessing: May you finish all waste thoughts by finding the cause of them and become an embodiment of solutions.

²⁴²Vyarth saṅkalp utpanna hōnē K|kē mukhya dō kāraṇ haĩ - 1 - abhimān aur 2 - apmān .

²⁴³ There are two main reasons for waste thoughts arising: 1) arrogance (abhimaan) and 2) feeling insulted (apmaan).

²⁴³Mērē kō cum|kam kyō̃ , mērā bhī yē pad hōnā chāhiē , mērē kō bhī āgē karnā chāhiē … tō ismē̃ yā tō apnā apmān samajhtē hō yā phir abhimān mē̃ ātē hō , nām mē̃ , mān mē̃ , śhān mē̃ , āgē ānē mē̃ , sēvā mē̃ . . . abhimān yā apmān mahsūs karnā yahī vyarth saṅkalpō̃ kā kāraṇ hai , is kāraṇ kō jānkar nivāraṇ karnā hī samādhān svarūp bannā hai .
