Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
8Om shanti.
9Saṅgam par hī bāp ātē haĩ .
9The Father only comes at the confluence age.
10Rōz bachchō̃ kō kahnā paṛtā hai ki rūhānī bāp rūhānī bachchō̃ kō samjhā rahē haĩ .
10He has to tell you children every day that the spiritual Father explains to you spiritual children.
11Aisā kyō̃ kahtē haĩ ki bachchē apnē kō ātmā samjhō ?
11Why does He say: Children, consider yourselves to be souls?
12Bachchō̃ kō yah yād paṛē barōbar bēhad kā bāp hai , ātmāō̃ kō paṛhātē haĩ .
12So that you children remember that He truly is the unlimited Father and that He is teaching you souls.
13Service kē liē bhinn-bhinn points par samjhātē haĩ .
13He explains various points for doing service.
14Bachchē kahtē haĩ service nahī̃ hai , ham bāhar mē̃ service kaisē karē̃ ?
14Children say: There is no service to do; how can we do service outside?
15Bāp service key|kī yuktiyā̃ tō bahut hī sahaj batlātē haĩ .
15The Father shows you very easy way to do service.
16Chitra hāth mē̃ hō .
16Have the pictures in your hands.
17Raghunāth kā kālā chitra bhī hō , gōrā bhī hō .
17Have the ugly picture of Raghunath (very name of Ram) and the beautiful picture too.
18Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā vā śhrīnārāyaṇ kā chitra gōrā bhī hō , kālā bhī hō . 19Bhal chhōṭē chitra hī hō̃ .
18Also have the ugly and the beautiful pictures of Shri Krishna and Shri Narayan, even if they are small.
20Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā itnā chhōṭā chitra bhī banātē haĩ .
19People make very small pictures of Shri Krishna too.
21Tum mandir K|kē pujārī sē pūchh saktē hō - inkō kālā kyō̃ banāyā hai jabki asul gōrā thā ?
20You can ask the priests looking after the temples: Why has this one been shown in an ugly image when, in fact, he was really beautiful?
22Vāstav mē̃ tō śharīr kālā nahī̃ hōtā hai nā .
21In fact, the body cannot be ugly.
23Tumhārē pās|pass bahut achchhē gōrē-gōrē bhī rahtē haĩ , parantu inkō kālā kyō̃ banāyā hai ?
22You also have many beautiful ones, but why has this one been made ugly?
24Yah tō tum bachchō̃ kō samjhāyā gayā hai ātmā kaisē bhinn-bhinn nām rūp dhāraṇ kartē nīchē utartī hai .
23It has been explained to you children how that soul adopts different names and forms as he continues to come down.
25Jabsē kām chitā par chaṛhtī hai tab sē kālā bantī hai .
24The soul becomes ugly from the time he climbs on to the pyre of lust.
26Jagat nāth vā śhrīnāth dvārē mē̃ ḍhēr yātrī hōtē haĩ , tumkō nimantraṇ bhī miltē haĩ .
25There are many pilgrims at Jagadnath and Shrinath and you receive invitations too.
27Bōlō , ham śhrīnāth K|kē 84 janmō̃ key|kī jīvan kahānī sunātē haĩ .
26Tell them: We will tell you the biography of the 84 births of Shrinath.
28Bhāiyō̃ aur bahanō̃ ākar sunō .
27Brothers and sisters, come and listen to it.
29Aisā bhāṣhaṇ aur kōī tō kar na sakē .
28No one else can give such lectures.
30Tum samjhā saktē hō yah kālā kyō̃ banē haĩ ?
29You can explain to them why he (Shri Krishna) has become ugly.
31Har ēk kō pāvan sē patit jarūr bannā hai .
30From being pure, each one definitely has to become impure.
32Dēvtāyē̃ jab vām mārg mē̃ gayē haĩ tab unhē̃ kālā banāyā hai .
31It was when the deities went on to the path of sin that their ugly images were created.
33Kām chitā par baiṭhnē sē iron aged ban jātē haĩ .
32By sitting on the pyre of lust, they became iron aged.
34Iron kā colour kālā hōtā hai , sōnē kā golden , unkō kahē̃gē gōrē .
33Iron is black and gold is golden; they would be called beautiful.
35Vahī phir 84 janmō̃ kē bād kālē bantē haĩ .
34They then become ugly while taking 84 births.
36Sīṛhī kā chitra bhī jarūr hāth mē̃ hō .
35You should also definitely have a picture of the ladder in your hand.
37Sīṛhī bhī baṛī hō tō kōī bhī dūr sē dēkh sakē̃gē achchhī rīti . 38Aur tum samjhāyēṅgē ki bhārat key|kī yah gati hai .
36If the picture of the ladder is big, anyone can see it very clearly from a distance, and you can explain that that has become the condition of Bharat.
39Likhā huā bhī hai utthān aur patan .
37It is also written: “Rise and fall”.
40Bachchō̃ kō service kā bahut śhauk hōnā chāhiē .
38You children should have a lot of interest in doing service.
41Samjhānā hai yah duniyā kā chakra kaisē phirtā hai , golden age , silver age , copper age … phir yah purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug bhī dikhānā hai .
39You have to explain how the cycle of the world turns through the golden age, silver age, copper age and iron age. 40Then, you also have to show this auspicious confluence age.
42Bhal bahut chitra nahī̃ uṭhāō .
41You don't have to take many pictures.
43Sīṛhī kā chitra tō mukhya hai bhārat kē liē .
42The picture of the ladder is the main one for Bharat.
44Tum samjhā saktē hō ab phir sē patit sē pāvan tum kaisē ban saktē hō .
43You can explain how, from being impure, you can now become pure once again.
45Patit-pāvan tō ēk hī bāp hai .
44Only the one Father is the Purifier.
46Unkō yād karnē sē second mē̃ jīvanmukti miltī hai .
45By remembering Him, you can receive liberation-in-life in a second.
47Tum bachchō̃ mē̃ yah sārā gyān hai .
46You children have all of this knowledge.
48Bākī tō sab agyān nīnd mē̃ sōyē huē haĩ .
47All the rest are sleeping in the sleep of ignorance.
49Bhārat gyān mē̃ thā tō bahut dhanvān thā .
48When Bharat had knowledge, it was very wealthy.
50Abhī bhārat agyān mē̃ hai tō kitnā kaṅgāl hai .
49Bharat is now in ignorance and has become so poverty stricken.
51Gyānī manuṣhya aur agyānī manuṣhya hōtē haĩ nā .
50There are also knowledge-full and ignorant human beings.
52Dēvī-dēvtā aur manuṣhya tō nāmīgrāmī haĩ .
51Deities and human beings are very well known.
53Dēvtāyē̃ satyug-trētā mē̃ , manuṣhya dvāpar-kaliyug mē̃ .
52Deities exist in the golden and silver ages and human beings exist in the copper and iron ages.
54Bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ sadaiv rahnā chāhiē service kaisē karē̃ ?
53It should constantly remain in the children’s intellects how service can be done.
55Vah bhī bāp samjhātē rahtē haĩ .
54The Father continues to explain that too.
56Sīṛhī kā chitra samjhānē kē liē bahut achchhā hai .
55The picture of the ladder is very good to explain to someone.
57Bāp kahtē haĩ gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahō .
56The Father says: You may live at home with your families.
58Śharīr nirvāh kē liē dhandhā ādi tō karnā hī hai .
57You have to earn an income for the livelihood of your bodies.
59Jismānī vidyā bhī paṛhnī hai .
58You also have to study a worldly education.
60Bākī jō time milē tō service kē liē khyāl karnā chāhiē - ham aurō̃ kā kalyāṇ kaisē karē̃ ?
59However, whatever time you have after that, you have to think about doing service and how to benefit others.
61Yahā̃ tō tum bahutō̃ kā kalyāṇ nahī̃ kar saktē hō .
60Here, you cannot benefit many.
62Yahā̃ tō ātē hī hō bāp key|kī murlī sunnē .
61You come here just to listen to the Father's murli.
63Ismē̃ hī jādū hai .
62It is only in this that there is magic.
64Bāp kō jādūgar kahtē haĩ nā .
63The Father is called the Magician, is He not?
65Gātē bhī haĩ murlī tērī mē̃ hai jādū . . . . . tumhārē mukh sē jō murlī bajtī hai usmē̃ jādū hai .
64You sing: There is magic in your murli. 65The murli that You speak through Your mouth has magic.
66Manuṣhya sē dēvtā ban jātē haĩ .
66We become deities from human beings.
67Aisā kōī jādūgar hōtā nahī̃ sivāē bāp K|kē .
67There is no Magician like this, other than the Father.
68Gāyan bhī hai manuṣhy sē dēvtā kiyē karat na lāgī vār .
68It is also remembered that it didn't take God long to change human beings into deities.
69Purānī duniyā sē naī duniyā hōnī jarūr hai .
69The old world definitely has to become new again.
70Purānī kā vināśh bhī jarūr hōnā hai .
70The old world definitely has to be destroyed.
71Is samay tum rājyōg sīkhtē hō tō jarūr rājā bhī bannā hai .
71At this time you are studying Raja Yoga and so you are surely going to become kings.
72Abhī tum bachchē samajhtē hō 84 janmō̃ kē bād phir pahlā number janm chāhiē kyōṅki world key|kī history-geography repeat hōtī hai .
72You children now understand that after your 84th birth, you will have to take your first birth because the history and geography of the world repeat.
73Satyug-trētā jō bhī hōkar gayā hai sō phir repeat hōnā hai jarūr .
73The golden and silver ages that existed definitely have to repeat.
74Tum yahā̃ baiṭhē hō tō bhī buddhi mē̃ yah yād karnā hai ki ham vāpis jātē haĩ phir satōpradhān dēvī-dēvtā bantē haĩ . 75Unkō dēvtā kahā jātā hai .
74Whilst you are sitting here, you have to keep it in your intellects that you are going back home and that you will then become satopradhan deities; they are called deities.
76Abhī manuṣhyō̃ mē̃ daivīguṇ nahī̃ haĩ .
75At present, human beings don't have those divine virtues.
77Tō service tum kahā̃ bhī kar saktē hō .
76So, you can do service anywhere.
78Kitnā bhī dhandhā ādi hō , gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahtē bhī kamāī kartē rahnā hai .
77No matter how much business etc. you have to do, you can still continue to earn this income while living at home.
79Ismē̃ mukhya bāt hai pavitratā key|kī .
78The main thing for this is purity.
80Purity hai tō peace-prosperity hai .
79When there is purity, there is also peace and prosperity.
81Complete pure ban gayē tō phir yahā̃ nahī̃ rah saktē kyōṅki hamkō śhāntidhām jarūr jānā hai .
80If you become completely pure, you cannot stay here because you would definitely need to go to the land of peace.
82Ātmā pure ban gaī tō phir ātmā kō is purānē śharīr kē sāth nahī̃ rahnā hai . 83Yah tō impure hai nā .
81When you souls have become pure, you can no longer remain in these old bodies, because they are impure.
845 tatva hī impure haĩ . 85Śharīr bhī insē hī bantā hai .
82The five elements are still impure and the bodies are made of those.
86Inkō miṭṭī kā putlā kahā jātā hai .
83They are called puppets of clay.
875 tatva kā śharīr ēk khatm hōtā hai , dūsrā bantā hai . 88Ātmā tō hai hī .
84One body of the five elements finishes and another one is created, but the soul exists for ever.
89Ātmā kōī bannē key|kī chīz nahī̃ .
85A soul is not something that is made.
90Śharīr pahlē kitnā chhōṭā phir kitnā baṛā hōtā hai .
86A body is very small at first and then it becomes large.
91Kitnē organs miltē haĩ jissē ātmā sārā part bajātī hai .
87A soul receives so many organs with which he performs his entire part.
92Yah duniyā hī wonderful hai .
88This world is wonderful.
93Sabsē wonderful hai bāp , jō ātmāō̃ kā parichay dētē haĩ .
89The Father who gives the introduction of souls is the most wonderful.
94Ham ātmā kitnī chhōṭī haĩ .
90We souls are so tiny.
95Ātmā pravēśh kartī hai .
91Each soul enters a body.
96Har ēk chīz wonderful hai .
92Each and everything is wonderful.
97Jānvarō̃ K|kē śharīr ādi kaisē bantē haĩ , wonder hai nā .
93It is a wonder how the bodies of animals are created.
98Ātmā tō sabmē̃ vahī chhōṭī hai .
94There is a similar tiny soul in everything.
99Hāthī kitnā baṛā hai , unmē̃ itnī chhōṭī ātmā jākar baiṭhtī hai .
95An elephant is so big and a tiny soul goes and sits in it.
100Bāp tō manuṣhya janm key|kī bāt samjhātē haĩ .
96The Father, however, explains about human births.
101Manuṣhya kitnē janma lētē haĩ ?
97How many births do human beings take?
10284 lākh janm tō haĩ nahī̃ .
98There aren't 8.4 million births.
103Samjhāyā hai jitnē dharm haĩ utnī variety bantī hai .
99It has been explained that there are as many varieties as there are religions.
104Har ēk ātmā kitnē features kā śharīr lētī hai , wonder hai nā .
100It is a wonder how each soul takes a body with so many features.
105Phir jab chakra repeat hōtā hai , her|har janm mē̃ features , nām , rūp ādi badal jātē haĩ .
101Then, as the cycle repeats, the features, name and form change in every birth.
106Aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē kr̥iṣhṇa kālā , kr̥iṣhṇa gōrā .
102It would not be said: The ugly Krishna and the beautiful Krishna.
107Nahī̃ , unkī ātmā pahlē gōrī thī phir 84 janm lētē-lētē kālī bantī hai .
103No, that soul is at first beautiful and then as he takes 84 births, he becomes ugly.
108Tumhārī bhī ātmā bhinn-bhinn features , bhinn-bhinn śharīr lēkar part bajātī hai .
104You souls also play your parts with different features and different bodies.
109Yah bhī drama hai .
105This too is in the drama.
110Tum bachchō̃ kō kabhī bhī kōī phikarāt nahī̃ hōnī chāhiē .
106You children should never have any worries.
111Sab actors haĩ .
107All are actors.
112Ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lēkar phir part bajānā hī hai .
108You have to shed your bodies, take others and play your parts.
113Her|har janm mē̃ sambandh ādi badal jātā hai .
109In every birth, your relations etc. change.
114Tō bāp samjhātē haĩ yah banā-banāyā drama hai .
110The Father explains: This drama is predestined.
115Ātmā hī 84 janm lētē-lētē tamōpradhān banī hai , ab phir ātmā kō satōpradhān bannā hai .
111It is you souls that have become tamopradhan by taking 84 births. 112Therefore, you souls now have to become satopradhan.
116Pāvan tō jarūr bannā hai .
113You definitely have to become pure.
117Pāvan sr̥iṣhṭi thī , ab patit hai phir pāvan hōnī hai .
114The world was pure, it has now become impure and it has to become pure again.
118Satōpradhān , tamōpradhān akṣhar tō hai nā .
115There are the words "satopradhan”, “tamopradhan".
119Satōpradhān sr̥iṣhṭi phir satō , rajō , tamō sr̥iṣhṭi .
116There is the satopradhan world, and then the sato, rajo and tamo worlds.
120Abhī jō tamōpradhān banē haĩ vahī phir satōpradhān kaisē banē̃ ?
117How can those who have now become tamopradhan become satopradhan?
121Patit sē pāvan kaisē banē̃ , barsāt K|kē pānī sē tō pāvan nahī̃ banē̃gē .
118How can you become pure from impure? 119One cannot become pure with rain water.
122Barsāt sē tō manuṣhyō̃ kā maut bhī hō jātā hai . 123Floods hō jātī haĩ tō kitnē ḍūb jātē haĩ .
120Through rain, people can even die: when there are floods, so many people drown.
124Abhī bāp samjhātē rahtē haĩ yah sab khaṇḍ nahī̃ rahē̃gē .
121The Father now continues to explain: None of those lands will remain.
125Natural calamities bhī madad dē̃gī , kitnē ḍhēr manuṣhya , jānvar ādi bah jātē haĩ .
122Natural calamities will also help. 123So many human beings and animals etc. get carried away in the floods.
126Aisē nahī̃ ki pānī sē pāvan ban jātē haĩ , vah tō śharīr chalā jātā hai .
124It isn't that they become pure with that water, but the bodies just flow away.
127Śharīrō̃ kō tō patit sē pāvan nahī̃ bannā hai .
125It isn't bodies that have to become pure from impure.
128Pāvan bannā hai ātmā kō .
126It is souls that have to become pure.
129Sō patit-pāvan tō ēk bāp hai .
127For that, only the one Father is the Purifier.
130Bhal vah jagat gurū kahlātē haĩ parantu gurū kā tō kām hai sadgati dēnā , vah tō ēk hī bāp sadgati dātā hai .
128Although those people call themselves Jagadgurus (World Gurus), the duty of a guru is to grant salvation and only the one Father is the Bestower of Salvation.
131Bāp satgurū hī sadgati dētē haĩ .
129The Father, the Satguru, alone grants salvation.
132Bāp samjhātē tō bahut rahtē haĩ , yah bhī suntē haĩ nā .
130The Father continues to explain a great deal; this one also listens.
133Gurū lōg bhī bājū mē̃ śhiṣhya kō biṭhātē haĩ sikhlānē kē liē .
131Gurus make their disciples sit next to them to teach them.
134Yah bhī unkē bājū mē̃ baiṭhtā hai .
132This one is also sitting next to that One.
135Bāp samjhātē haĩ tō yah bhī samjhātē hōṅgē nā isliē gurū brahmā number one mē̃ jātā hai .
133The Father is explaining and so this one must be explaining too. 134This is why Guru Brahma becomes number one.
136Śhaṅkar kē liē tō kahtē haĩ āṅkh khōlnē sē bhasma kar dētē haĩ phir unkō tō gurū nahī̃ kahā jāē .
135For Shankar, they say that, when he opened his third eye, he burnt everyone. 136In that case, he cannot be called a guru.
137Phir bhī bāp kahtē haĩ bachchō̃ māmēkam yād karō .
137Nevertheless, the Father says: Children, constantly remember Me alone.
138Kaī bachchē kahtē haĩ - itnē dhandhēdhōrī key|kī phikarāt mē̃ rahtē , ham apnē kō ātmā samajh bāp kō kaisē yād karē̃ ?
138Some children say: We have so many worries about our business, so how can we consider ourselves to be souls and remember the Father?
139Bāp samjhātē haĩ bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī tum - hē īśhvar , hē bhagvān kah yād kartē hō nā .
139The Father explains: On the path of devotion too, you remembered God and said, "O Ishwar! 140O Bhagawan!"
140Yād tab kartē hō jab kōī duḥkh hōtā hai .
141You remember Him when there is some sorrow.
141Marnē samay bhī kahtē haĩ rām-rām bōlō .
142When a person is about to die, people say, "Chant the name of Rama".
142Bahut sãsthāyē̃ haĩ jō rām nām kā dān dētī haĩ .
143There are many organizations’ who give a donation in the name of Rama.
143Jaisē tum gyān kā dān dētē hō vah phir kahtē rām bōlō , rām bōlō .
144Just as you give a donation of knowledge, so they say: Say, "Rama, Rama".
144Tum bhī kahtē hō śhivbābā kō yād karō .
145You also say: Remember Shiv Baba.
145Vah tō śhiv kō jāntē hī nahī̃ .
146Those people don't even know Shiva.
146Aisē rām-rām kah dētē haĩ .
147They simply say, "Rama, Rama".
147Ab yah bhī kyō̃ kahtē haĩ ki rām kahō , jabki paramātmā sabmē̃ hai ?
148Why do they say, "Chant the name of Rama", when they say that God is in everyone?
148Bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ rām vā kr̥iṣhṇa kō paramātmā nahī̃ kahā jātā , unhē̃ dēvtā kahā jātā hai , unkī bhī kalāyē̃ kam hōtī jātī haĩ .
149The Father sits here and explains: Neither Rama nor Shri Krishna can be called God. 150Even they are called a deity, and their degrees also decrease.
149Har ēk chīz key|kī kalā cum|kam tō hōtī hī hai .
151The degrees of everything decrease.
150Kapṛā bhī pahlē nayā , phir purānā hōtā hai .
152Clothes too are at first new and then they become old.
151Tō bāp itnī bātē̃ samjhātē haĩ phir bhī kahtē haĩ - mērē mīṭhē-mīṭhē rūhānī bachchō̃ , apnē kō ātmā samjhō .

163It is not good to receive punishment and then receive a small piece of chapatti.
162Sabkō tājī rōṭī pasand ātī hai .
164Everyone loves hot chappattis.
163Ājkal tō tēl hī chaltā hai .
165Nowadays, oil is used for everything.
164Vahā̃ tō ghī key|kī nadiyā̃ bahtī haĩ .
166There, rivers of ghee will flow.
165Tō bachchō̃ kō bāp kā simraṇ karnā hai .
167So, you children have to remember the Father internally.
166Bābā aisē bhī nahī̃ kahtē yahā̃ baiṭhkar bāp kō yād karō .
168Baba doesn't say: Sit here and remember the Father.
167Nahī̃ , chaltē , phirtē , ghūmtē śhivbābā kō yād karnā hai .

170Laukik bāp K|kē bachchē naukrī ādi kartē haĩ tō yād rahtā hī hai nā .
172Children of a physical father remember him whilst doing their jobs etc.

175You have become the Father's children and so you also remember His property.
174Bāp kō bhī yād karnā hai aur kōī sē sambandh nahī̃ .
176You also have to remember the Father and have no relationships with anyone else.
175Ātmā mē̃ hī sārā part nūndhā huā hai jō emerge hōtā hai .
177A whole part is fixed in each soul and that continues to emerge.
176Is brāhmaṇ kul mē̃ tumhārā jō kalp-kalp part chalā hai vahī emerge hōtā rahtā hai .
178Whatever part each of you has played every cycle in this Brahmin clan, it continues to emerge.
177Bāp samjhātē haĩ khānā banāō , miṭhāī banāō , śhivbābā kō yād kartē rahō .
179The Father explains: You may prepare food, sweets, but continue to remember Shiv Baba.
178Śhivbābā kō yād kar banāyēṅgē tō miṭhāī khānē vālē kā bhī kalyāṇ hōgā .
180If you prepare then whilst remembering Shiv Baba, then those who eat those sweets will also benefit.
179Kahā̃ sākṣhātkār bhī hō saktā hai .
181Sometimes, they might even have visions.
180Brahmā kā bhī sākṣhātkār hō saktā hai .

187The Father shows you many methods.
186Vah mukh sē rām-rām bōltē haĩ , tumkō mukh sē kuchh bōlnā nahī̃ hai .
188Those people say, "Rama, Rama" through their lips. 189You don't have to say anything through your lips.
187Jaisē vah lōg samajhtē haĩ gurūnānak kō bhōg lagā rahē haĩ , tum bhī samajhtē hō ham śhivbābā kō bhōg lagānē kē liē banātē haĩ .
190Just as those people understand that they are offering bhog to Guru Nanak, so you understand that you are preparing bhog to offer to Shiv Baba.
188Śhivbābā kō yād kartē banāyēṅgē tō bahutō̃ kā kalyāṇ hō saktā hai .
191If you prepare it whilst remembering Shiv Baba, many can be benefitted.
189Us bhōjan mē̃ tākat hō jātī hai , isliē bābā bhōjan banānē vālō̃ kō bhī kahtē haĩ śhivbābā kō yād kar banātē hō ?
192There is power in that food. 193This is why Baba asks those who prepare food: Do you prepare it whilst remembering Shiv Baba?
190Likhā huā bhī hai śhivbābā yād hai ?
194It is written: Are you remembering Shiv Baba?
191Yād mē̃ rahkar banāyēṅgē tō khānē vālō̃ kō bhī tākat milēgī , hr̥iday śhuddha hōgā .

205It is souls that eat the food with their organs. 206Each soul tastes everything. 207It is the soul that says whether something is good or bad: This is very tasty; this is very nourishing.
203Āgē chal jaisē tum unnati kō pātē rahē̃gē vaisē bhōjan bhī tumkō aisā miltā rahēgā , isliē bachchō̃ kō kahtē haĩ śhivbābā kō yād kar bhōjan banāō .
208As you move forward and make progress, you will also continue to receive such bhojan. 209Therefore, you children are told to prepare food while in remembrance of Shiv Baba.
