Question

2Praśhna  : is pāp ātmāō̃ kī duniyā mē̃ kaun-sī bāt bilkul asambhav hai aur kyō̃  ?

2Question: In this world of sinful souls, what is absolutely impossible and why?

Answer

3Uttar  : yahā̃ kōī kahē ham puṇya ātmā haĩ , yah bilkul asambhav hai kyōṅki duniyā hī kaliyugī tamōpradhān hai .

3Answer: Here, it is absolutely impossible for anyone to be a charitable soul, because the world itself is iron aged and tamopradhan.

4Manuṣhya jiskō puṇya kā kām samajhtē haĩ vah bhī pāp hō jātā hai kyōṅki her|har karma vikārō̃ K|kē vaśh hō kartē haĩ .

4Things that human beings consider to be acts of charity are really sinful acts, because every act they perform is done under the influence of one of the vices.

Murli

5Ōm śhānti .

5Om shanti.

6Yah tō bachchē samajhtē hōṅgē ham abhī brahmā K|kē bachchē brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ haĩ . 7Phir bād mē̃ hōtē haĩ - dēvī-dēvtā .

6You children do understand that you are the children of Brahma and are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, and that you are later on going to become deities.

8Yah tō tum hī samajhtē hō , dūsrā kōī nahī̃ samajhtē .

7Only you understand this. 8Others do not understand this.

9Tum jāntē hō ham brahmākumār-kumāriyā̃ bēhad key|kī paṛhāī paṛh rahē haĩ .

9You Brahma Kumars and Kumaris know that you are studying an unlimited study.

1084 janmō̃ key|kī paṛhāī bhī paṛhtē , sr̥iṣhṭi chakra key|kī paṛhāī bhī paṛhtē . 11Phir tumkō yah śhikṣhā miltī hai ki pavitra bannā hai .

10You are studying the study of 84 births and also of the world cycle and you also receive teachings that you have to become pure.

12Yahā̃ baiṭhē tum bachchē bāp kō yād tō jarūr kartē hō pāvan bannē kē liē .

11Whilst sitting here, you children definitely remember the Father in order to become pure.

13Apnē dil sē pūchhō sach-sach ham bāp kī yād mē̃ baiṭhē thē yā māyā rāvaṇ buddhi kō aur taraph lē gayī .

12Each of you ask your heart: Was I really sitting in remembrance of the Father or did Maya, Ravan, take my intellect elsewhere?

14Bāp nē kahā hai māmēkam yād karō tō pāp kaṭē̃ .

13The Father has said: Remember Me alone so that your sins are cut away.

15Ab apnē sē pūchhnā hai ham bābā key|kī yād mē̃ rahē yā buddhi kahā̃ chalī gaī  ?

14Therefore, each of you now has to ask yourself: Did I stay in remembrance of Baba, or did my intellect go elsewhere?

16Smr̥iti rahnī chāhiē - kitnā samay ham bābā key|kī yād mē̃ rahē  ?

15There should be this awareness: How long did I stay in remembrance of Baba?

17Kitnā samay hamārī buddhi kahā̃-kahā̃ gaī  ?

16Where and for how long did my intellect go elsewhere?

18Apnī avasthā kō dēkhō .

17Check your own stage.

19Jitnā time bāp kō yād karē̃gē , ussē hī pāvan banē̃gē .

18For however long you remember the Father, it is only by doing that that you will become pure.

20Jamā aur nā kā bhī pōtāmēl rakhnā hai .

19You have to keep an account of your profit and loss.

21Ādat hōgī tō yād bhī rahēgā . 22Likhtē rahē̃gē .

20If you form a habit of doing that, you will have remembrance and you will continue to write it down.

23Diary tō sabkē pocket mē̃ rahtī hī hai .

21Everyone keeps a diary in his pocket.

24Jō bhī vyāpār vālē hōtē haĩ , unhō̃ kī hai had key|kī diary .

22The diaries that business people have are all limited.

25Tumhārī hai bēhad key|kī diary .

23Your diary is unlimited.

26Tō tumkō apnā chart note karnā hai .

24Therefore, you have to note down your chart.

27Bāp kā pharmān hai - dhandhā ādi sab kuchh karō parantu kuchh samay nikāl mērē kō yād karō .

25The Father's order is: Carry on with your business and everything else, but make time to remember Me.

28Apnē pōtāmēl kō dēkh phāydā baṛhātē jāō . 29Ghāṭā na ḍālō .

26Check your account and continue to increase your profit; don't go into loss.

30Tumhārī yuddha tō hai nā . 31Second mē̃ phāydā , second mē̃ ghāṭā .

27You have a war and so there is a profit in a second and a loss in the next.

32Jhaṭ mālūm paṛtā hai , hamnē phāydā kiyā yā ghāṭā  ?

28You can find out very quickly whether you are making a profit or a loss.

33Tum vyāpārī hō nā .

29You are businessmen, are you not?

34Kōī virlā yah vyāpār karē .

30Scarcely any are able to do this business.

35Smr̥iti sē hai phāydā , vismr̥iti sē hai ghāṭā .

31There is a profit in having remembrance and a loss in forgetting.

36Yah apnī jāñch karnī hai , jinkō ūñch pad pānā hai unkō tō ōnā rahtā hai - dēkhē̃ , ham kitnā samay vismr̥iti mē̃ rahē  ?

32You have to check yourself for this. 33Those who are to claim a high status will be concerned to see how long they stayed in a state of forgetting.

37Yah tō tum bachchē jāntē hō ham sab ātmāō̃ kā bāp patit-pāvan hai .

34You children understand that that One is the Father of all souls, that He is the Purifier.

38Ham asul ātmāyē̃ haĩ .

35We are originally souls.

39Apnē ghar sē yahā̃ āyē haĩ , yah śharīr lēkar part bajātē haĩ .

36We come down here from our home, adopt bodies and play our parts.

40Śharīr vināśhī hai , ātmā avināśhī hai .

37Bodies are perishable and souls are eternal.

41Saṅskār bhī ātmā mē̃ rahtē haĩ .

38Our sanskars are also in us souls.

42Bābā pūchhtē haĩ - hē ātmā yād karō , is janm K|kē chhōṭēpan mē̃ kōī ulṭā kām tō nahī̃ kiyā hai  ?

39Baba asks: O souls, remember: Have you performed any wrong acts since childhood in your present birth?

43Yād karō . 443-4 varṣh sē lēkar yād tō rahtī hai , hamnē chhōṭēpan mē̃ kaisē bitāyā hai , kyā-kyā kiyā hai  ?

40You can remember what you have done from when you were three or four years old, how you spent your childhood and what things you did.

45Kōī bhī bāt dil andar khātī tō nahī̃ hai  ? 46Yād karō .

41Try and remember: does your conscience bite you inside about anything?

47Satyug mē̃ pāp karma hōtē hī nahī̃ tō pūchhnē key|kī bāt nahī̃ rahtī .

42There are no sinful acts performed in the golden age, so the question of asking does not arise there.

48Yahā̃ tō pāp hōtē hī haĩ .

43Here, sins continue to take place.

49Manuṣhya jiskō puṇya kā kām samajhtē haĩ vah bhī pāp hī hai .

44The acts that human beings consider to be charity are also really sins.

50Yah hai hī pāp ātmāō̃ kī duniyā .

45This is the world of sinful souls.

51Tumhārī lēn-dēn bhī hai pāp ātmāō̃ sē .

46Your interactions are also with sinful souls.

52Puṇya ātmā yahā̃ hai hī nahī̃ .

47Charitable souls do not exist here.

53Puṇya ātmāō̃ key|kī duniyā mē̃ phir ēk bhī pāp ātmā nahī̃ .

48In the world of charitable souls, there isn't a single sinful soul.

54Pāp ātmāō̃ kī duniyā mē̃ ēk bhī puṇya ātmā nahī̃ hō saktī .

49In the world of sinful souls, there cannot be a single charitable soul.

55Jin guruō̃ K|kē charaṇō̃ mē̃ girtē haĩ vah bhī kōī puṇya ātmā nahī̃ haĩ .

50The gurus at whose feet people fall are not charitable souls either.

56Yah tō hai hī kaliyug sō bhī tamōpradhān .

51This is the tamopradhan iron age.

57Tō ismē̃ kōī puṇya ātmā hōnā hī asambhav hai .

52It is impossible for there to be any charitable souls here.

58Puṇya ātmā bannē liē hī bāp kō bulātē haĩ ki ākar hamkō pāvan ātmā banāō .

53In order to become a charitable soul, you souls call out to the Father to come and purify you.

59Aisē nahī̃ , kōī bahut dān-puṇya ādi kartē haĩ , dharmaśhālā ādi banātē haĩ tō vah kōī puṇya ātmā haĩ .

54It isn't that if someone donates a great deal of money or performs charitable acts, such as building a dharamshala, etc., he is a charitable soul; no.

60Nahī̃ , śhādiyō̃ ādi kē liē hall|hāl ādi banātē haĩ yah kōī puṇya thōṛēhī hai .

55The building of halls, etc. for marriage ceremonies is not an act of charity.

61Yah samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

56These things have to be understood.

62Yah hai rāvaṇ rājya , pāp ātmāō̃ key|kī āsurī duniyā .

57This is Ravan’s kingdom; it is the devilish world of sinful souls.

63In bātō̃ kō sivāē tumhārē aur kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

58No one but you knows of these things.

64Rāvaṇ bhal hai parantu unkō pahchāntē thōṛēhī haĩ .

59Ravan does exist, but no one recognises him.

65Śhiv kā chitra bhī hai parantu pahchāntē nahī̃ haĩ .

60There is also the image of Shiva but no one recognises Him either.

66Baṛē-baṛē śhivliṅg ādi banātē haĩ , phir bhī kah dētē nām-rūp sē nyārā hai , sarvavyāpī hai isliē bāp nē kahā hai yadā yadāhi … bhārat mē̃ hī śhivbābā key|kī glāni hōtī hai .

61They create huge Shivalingams, etc., yet they say that He is beyond name and form, that He is omnipresent. 62This is why the Father has said that He comes when there is defamation of religion. 63Shiv Baba, the Father who makes you into the masters of the world, is defamed in Bharat.

67Jō bāp tumkō viśhva kā mālik banātē haĩ , tum manuṣhya mat par chal unkī kitnī glāni kartē hō .

64By following the dictates of human beings you have defamed Him so much.

68Manuṣhya mat aur īśhvarīy mat kā kitāb bhī hai nā .

65There is a book about the dictates of human beings and the dictates of God.

69Yah tō tum hī jāntē hō aur samjhātē hō ham śhrīmat par dēvtā bantē haĩ .

66Only you know about this and you explain to others how you are becoming deities by following shrimat.

70Rāvaṇ mat par phir āsurī manuṣhya ban jātē haĩ .

67By following Ravan's dictates, you become devilish human beings.

71Manuṣhya mat kō āsurī mat kahā jāyēgā .

68Human dictates are called devilish dictates.

72Āsurī kartavya hī kartē rahtē haĩ .

69People keep performing devilish acts.

73Mūl bāt īśhvar kō sarvavyāpī kah dētē . 74Kachchha avatār , machchha avatār . . . . . . tō kitnē āsurī chhī-chhī ban gayē haĩ .

70The main thing they say is that God is omnipresent, that He incarnates in a fish and a crocodile. 71Therefore, they have become so devilish and dirty.

75Tumhārī ātmā kachchh-machchh avatār nahī̃ lētī , manuṣhya tan mē̃ hī ātī hai .

72You souls do not take birth in a fish or a crocodile; you only enter human bodies.

76Abhī tum samajhtē hō ham kōī kachchh-machchh thōṛēhī bantē haĩ , 84 lākh yōnī thōṛēhī lētē haĩ .

73You now understand that you do not become a fish or a crocodile or take birth in 8.4 million different species.

77Abhī tumkō bāp key|kī śhrīmat miltī hai - bachchē , tum 84 janma lētē hō .

74You are now receiving the Father's shrimat. 75Children, you take 84 births.

7884 aur 84 lākh kā kyā percentage kahē̃gē  !

76What percentage is 84 of 8.4 million?

79Jhūṭh tō pūrā jhūṭh , sach key|kī rattī nahī̃ .

77There is falsehood, complete falsehood and not the slightest bit of truth in what they say.

80Inkā bhī arth|earth samajhnā chāhiē .

78You have to understand the meaning of this too.

81Bhārat kā hall|hāl dēkhō kyā hai .

79Look at the state of Bharat!

82Bhārat sachkhaṇḍ thā , jiskō heaven hī kahā jātā thā .

80The Bharat that was called heaven was also called the land of truth.

83Ādhākalp hai rām rājya , ādhākalp hai rāvaṇ rājya .

81For half a cycle, there is the kingdom of Rama and for the other half, there is the kingdom of Ravan.

84Rāvaṇ rājya kō āsurī sampradāy kahē̃gē .

82Ravan’s kingdom is also called the devilish community.

85Kitnā kaṛā akṣhar hai .

83The words are very strong.

86Ādhā kalp dēvtāō̃ kā rājya chaltā hai .

84For half a cycle, the kingdom of deities continues.

87Bāp nē samjhāyā hai lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ dī|the first , dī|the second , dī|the third kahā jātā hai . 88Jaisē Edward first second hōtā hai nā .

85The Father has explained that there are Lakshmi and Narayan the First, Lakshmi and Narayan the Second and Lakshmi and Narayan the Third, just as they have Edward the First and Second.

89Pahlī pīṛhī , phir dūsrī pīṛhī aisē chaltī hai .

86There is the first generation and then the second.

90Tumhārā bhī pahlē hōtā hai sūryavanśhī rājya phir chandravanśhī .

87This is how it continues. 88You also first have the sun-dynasty kingdom and then the moon dynasty.

91Bāp nē ākar drama kā rāz bhī achchhī rīti samjhāyā hai .

89The Father has come and explained the secrets of the drama very clearly.

92Tumhārē śhāstrō̃ mē̃ yah bātē̃ nahī̃ thī .

90These things are not mentioned in your scriptures.

93Kōī-kōī śhāstrō̃ mē̃ thōṛī lakīrē̃ lagāī huī haĩ parantu us samay jinhōnnē pustak banāyē haĩ unhōnnē kuchh samjhā nahī̃ hai .

91There are some lines in the scriptures, but those who created the scriptures didn’t understand anything.

94Bābā bhī jab banāras gayē thē us samay yah duniyā achchhī nahī̃ lagtī thī , vahā̃ sārī dīvārō̃ par lakīr baiṭh lagātē thē .

92When Baba went to Benares, he didn't like this world. 93He used to sit there and draw lines on walls.

95Bāp yah sab karātē thē parantu ham tō us samay bachchē thē nā . 96Pūrā samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā thā .

94The Father inspired me to do all of that. 95At that time, I was a child and there wasn't full understanding.

97Bas kōī hai jō hamsē yah karātā hai .

96There was just the feeling that there was someone who was making me do all of that.

98Vināśh dēkhā tō andar mē̃ khuśhī bhī thī .

97When I had a vision of destruction, there was also internal happiness.

99Rāt kō sōtē thē tō bhī jaisē uṛtē rahtē thē parantu kuchh samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā thā .

98At night, when I was sleeping, I felt as though I was flying. 99However, I didn’t understand anything.

100Aisē-aisē lakīrē̃ khīñchtē rahtē thē .

100I just used to draw lines.

101Kōī tākat hai jisnē pravēśh kiyā hai .

101I felt that there was some power that had entered me.

102Ham wonder khātē thē .

102I would be amazed.

103Pahlē tō dhandhā ādi kartē thē phir kyā huā , kōī kō dēkhtē thē aur jhaṭ dhyān mē̃ chalē jātē thē .

103Previously, I used to do business, etc., but then what happened was that I would look at some people and they would very quickly go into trance.

104Kahtā thā yah kyā hōtā hai jiskō dēkhtā hū̃ unkī ôkhē̃ band hō jātī haĩ .

104I used to ask: What is happening? 105The eyes of whoever I looked at would close.

105Pūchhtē thē kyā dēkhā tō kahtē thē vaikuṇṭha dēkhā , kr̥iṣhṇa dēkhā .

106When I asked those people what they saw, they would reply that they saw Paradise or that they saw Krishna.

106Yah bhī sab samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ huī nā isliē sab kuchh chhōṛkar banāras chalē gayē samajhnē liē .

107These things too have to be understood. 108That was why I renounced everything and went to Benares to try and understand.

107Sārā din baiṭhā rahtā thā .

109I used to sit there throughout the day.

108Pencil aur dīvār aur kōī dhandhā hī nahī̃ .

110I would draw on a wall with a pencil and do no other business.

109Baby thē nā .

111I was a little baby.

110Tō aisē-aisē jab dēkhā tō samjhā ab yah kuchh karnā nahī̃ hai . 111Dhandhā ādi chhōṛnā paṛēgā .

112When I saw those things, I felt that I didn't want to do any of that business, that I had to renounce my business, etc.

112Khuśhī thī yah gadāī chhōṛnī hai . 113Rāvaṇ rājya hai nā .

113I was happy that I was leaving that donkey work; it was the kingdom of Ravan.

114Rāvaṇ par gadhē kā śhīśh dikhātē haĩ nā , tō khyāl huā yah rājāī nahī̃ , gadāī hai .

114Ravan is portrayed with the head of a donkey. 115So I thought that that is not a kingdom, but donkey work.

115Gadhā ghaṛī-ghaṛī miṭṭī mē̃ lathēṛ kar dhōbī K|kē kapṛē sab kharāb kar dētā hai .

116A donkey rolls in the dust again and again and keeps spoiling the laundryman's clean washing.

116Bāp bhī kahtē haĩ tum kyā thē , ab tumhārī kyā avasthā hō gaī hai .

117The Father also asks: What were you? 118What stage have you reached now?

117Yah bāp hī baiṭh samjhātē haĩ aur yah dādā bhī samjhātē haĩ .

119Only the Father sits here and explains this. 120This Dada also explains this.

118Dōnō̃ kā chaltā rahtā hai .

121Both continue to explain in this way.

119Gyān mē̃ jō achchhī rīti samjhātē haĩ vah tīkhē kahē̃gē .

122Those of you who can explain this knowledge very well are called clever.

120Number-vār tō haĩ nā .

123All of you are numberwise.

121Tum bachchē bhī samjhātē hō , yah rājdhānī sthāpan hō rahī hai . 122Jarūr number-vār pad pāyēṅgē .

124You children also explain that it is a kingdom that is being established and so everyone will definitely claim a status, numberwise.

123Ātmā hī apnā part kalp-kalp bajātī hai .

125Souls play their parts cycle after cycle.

124Sab ēk samān gyān nahī̃ uṭhāyēṅgē .

126Not everyone will take this knowledge equally.

125Yah sthāpanā hī wonderful hai .

127This establishment is wonderful.

126Dūsrē kōī sthāpanā kā gyān thōṛēhī dētē haĩ .

128Others do not give any knowledge about establishment.

127Samjhō sikkh dharm key|kī sthāpanā huī . 128Śhuddha ātmā nē pravēśh kiyā , kuchh samay kē bād sikkh dharm key|kī sthāpanā huī .

129For instance, when the Sikh religion was being established, it was a pure soul that entered and, after some time, the Sikh religion was established.

129Unhō̃ kā head kaun  ?

130Who was their head?

130Gurunānak .

131Guru Nanak.

131Usnē ākar jap sāhēb banāyā .

132He came and the Japsaheb (Sikh invocation) was created afterwards.

132Pahlē tō naī ātmāyē̃ hī hōṅgī kyōṅki pavitra ātmā hōtī hai .

133In the beginning, souls are pure because they are new.

133Pavitra kō mahān ātmā kahtē haĩ .

134A pure soul is called a great soul.

134Supreme tō ēk bāp kō kahā jātā hai .

135Only the one Father is called the Supreme.

135Vah bhī dharm sthāpanā kartē haĩ tō mahān kahē̃gē . 136Parantu number-vār pīchhē-pīchhē ātē haĩ .

136Because they establish a religion, they are called great and their followers come down, numberwise, after them.

137500 varṣh pahlē ēk ātmā I|āī|eye , ākar sikkh dharm sthāpan kiyā , us samay granth kahā̃ sē āyēgā .

137Five hundred years ago, a new soul came and established the Sikh religion. 138How could there have been the Granth at that time?

138Jarūr sukhmanī jap sāhēb ādi bād mē̃ banāyē hōṅgē nā  !

139The Sukhmani (hymn of peace) and the Japsaheb, etc. must have been written afterwards.

139Kyā śhikṣhā dētē haĩ .

140What do they teach?

140Umaṅg ātā hai tō bāp key|kī baiṭh mahimā kartē haĩ . 141Bākī yah pustak ādi tō bād mē̃ bantē haĩ . 142Jab bahut hō̃ . 143Paṛhnē vālē bhī chāhiē nā .

141When they have enthusiasm, they sit and praise the Father but their books, etc. are written later on when there are very many more of them, because you also need people to read them.

144Sabkē śhāstra pīchhē banē hōṅgē .

142The scriptures of every religion are created after the religion is established.

145Jab bhakti mārg śhurū hō tab śhāstra paṛhē .

143The scriptures are read after the path of devotion begins.

146Gyān chāhiē nā .

144Knowledge is needed.

147Pahlē satōpradhān hōṅgē phir satō , rajō , tamō mē̃ ātē haĩ .

145In the beginning, souls are satopradhan and then they become sato, rajo and tamo.

148Jab bahut vr̥iddhi hō tab mahimā hō aur śhāstra ādi banē̃ .

146Only after there has been a lot of growth is there praise of the religion and are its scriptures created.

149Nahī̃ tō vr̥iddhi kaun karē .

147Otherwise, how would growth take place?

150Followers banē̃ nā .

148They have to become followers.

151Sikkh dharm key|kī ātmāyē̃ āvē̃ jō ākar follow karē̃ .

149Souls of the Sikh religion have to come and follow.

152Usmē̃ bahut time chāhiē .

150A lot of time is needed for that.

153Naī ātmā jō ātī hai unkō duḥkh tō hō nahī̃ saktā . 154Law nahī̃ kahtā .

151New souls that come do not experience sorrow; the law does not allow that.

152Only after souls go from their satopradhan stage into their sato, rajo and tamo stages do they experience sorrow.

153This is the law.

157Yahā̃ hai mixup , rāvaṇ sampradāy bhī hai tō rām sampradāy bhī hai .

154Here, they are mixed up; there is the community of Ravan and also the community of Rama.

170In the golden age, there is only one son and one daughter.

175Aur kōī dharm key|kī aisē vr̥iddhi nahī̃ hōtī .

171No other religion grows in that way.
