9Om shanti.
6Śhivbābā baiṭh bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ arthāt āpsamān banānē kā purūṣhārth karātē haĩ .
10Shiv Baba sits here and explains to you children, that is, He inspires you to make effort to become equal to Him.
7Jaisē maĩ gyān kā sāgar hū̃ vaisē bachchē bhī banē̃ .
11Just as I am the Ocean of Knowledge, so you children also have to become the same.
8Yah tō mīṭhē bachchē jāntē haĩ sab ēk samān nahī̃ banē̃gē .
12You sweet children know that not all of you will become the same.
9Purūṣhārth tō harēk kō apnā-apnā karnā hōtā hai .
13Each one of you has to make your own individual effort.
10School mē̃ student tō bahut paṛhtē haĩ parantu sab ēk samān pass with honours nahī̃ hōtē haĩ .
14Many students study at school but they don’t all pass with honours.
11Phir bhī teacher purūṣhārth karātē haĩ .
15Nevertheless, their teacher inspires them all to make effort.
12Tum bachchē bhī purūṣhārth kartē hō .
16You children also make effort.
13Bāp pūchhtē haĩ tum kyā banē̃gē ? 14Sab kahē̃gē ham āyē hī haĩ nar sē nārāyaṇ , nārī sē lakṣhmī bannē .
17When the Father asks what you will become, you all reply: We have come here to become Narayan from an ordinary man and Lakshmi from an ordinary woman.
15Yah tō ṭhīk hai parantu apnī activities bhī dēkhō nā .
18That is all right, but you have to look at your activity too.
16Bāp bhī ūñch tē ūñch hai .
19The Father is the Highest on High.
17Teacher bhī hai , gurū bhī hai .
20He is the Teacher and the Guru.
18Is bāp kō kōī jāntē nahī̃ .
21No one knows this Father.
19Tum bachchē jāntē hō śhivbābā hamārā bābā bhī hai , teacher bhī hai , satgurū bhī hai .
22You children know that Shiv Baba is our Baba, Teacher and Satguru.
20Parantu vah jaisā hai vaisā unkō jānnā bhī muśhkil hai .
23However, it is difficult to understand Him as He truly is.
21Bāp kō jānē̃gē tō teacher-panā bhūl jāyēgā , phir gurūpanā bhūl jāyēgā .
24You might come to know the Father but you forget His role as the Teacher and the Guru.
22Regard bhī bāp kā bachchō̃ kō rakhnā hōtā hai .
25You children also have to have regard for the Father.
23Regard kiskō kahā jātā hai ?
26What does it mean to have regard?
24Bāp jō paṛhātē haĩ vah achchhī rīti paṛhtē haĩ gōyā regard rakhtē haĩ .
27To have regard means to study well that which the Father teaches.
25Bāp tō bahut mīṭhā hai .
28The Father is very sweet.
26Andar mē̃ bahut khuśhī kā pārā chaṛhā rahnā chāhiē .
29Let the mercury of happiness rise high inside you.
27Kāpārī khuśhī rahnī chāhiē .
30Let there be ecstatic happiness.
28Harēk apnē sē pūchhē - hamkō aisī khuśhī hai ?
31Each of you has to ask yourself: Do I have such happiness?
29Ēk samān sab tō rah nahī̃ saktē .
32Not everyone can be the same.
30Paṛhāī mē̃ bhī vast different hai .
33There is also a vast difference in how everyone studies.
31Un skūlō̃ mē̃ bhī kitnā fark rahtā hai .
34In those schools, too, there is a lot of difference.
32Vah tō common teacher paṛhātē haĩ , yah tō hai uncommon .
35There, it is a common teacher who teaches, whereas this One here is uncommon.
33Aisā teacher kōī hōtā hī nahī̃ .
36There cannot be another teacher like this One.
34Kiskō yah patā hī nahī̃ hai ki nirākār father teacher bhī bantē haĩ .
37No one knows that the incorporeal Father also becomes the Teacher.
35Bhal śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā nām diyā hai parantu unkō patā hī nahī̃ ki vah father kaisē hō saktā .
38Although they have used the name “Shri Krishna”, they don’t even know that he can’t be the Father.
36Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa tō dēvtā hai nā .
39Krishna is a deity.
37Yū̃ tō kr̥iṣhṇa nām bhī bahutō̃ kā hai .
40Many have the name “Krishna”.
38Parantu kr̥iṣhṇa kahnē sē hī śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa sāmnē ā jāyēgā .
41However, as soon as people say “Krishna”, the form of Shri Krishna comes in front of them.
39Vah tō dēhdhārī hai nā .
42He is a bodily being.
40Tum jāntē hō yah śharīr unkā nahī̃ hai .
43You know that this body does not belong to that One.
41Khud kahtē haĩ - mainnē loan liyā hai .
44He Himself says: I have taken it on loan.
42Yah pahlē bhī manuṣhya thā , ab bhī manuṣhya hai . 43Yah bhagvān nahī̃ hai .
45This one was a human being before and he is still a human being now; he is not God.
44Vah tō ēk hī nirākār hai .
46Only the incorporeal One is God.
45Ab tum bachchō̃ kō kitnē rāz samjhātē haĩ .
47He now explains so many secrets to you children.
46Parantu phir bhī final hī bāp samajhnā , teacher samajhnā yah abhī hō nahī̃ saktā , ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jāyēṅgē .
48However, it is not yet possible for you to understand finally (fully) the Father and the Teacher; you repeatedly forget.
47Dēhdhārī taraph buddhi chalī jātī hai .
49Your intellects are drawn to bodily beings.
48Final bāp , bāp , teacher , satgurū hai - yah niśhchay , buddhi mē̃ abhī nahī̃ hai . 49Abhī tō bhūl jātē haĩ .
50As yet, your intellects don’t have the faith that this is finally the Father, Teacher and Satguru; you still forget.
50Students kabhī teacher kō bhūlē̃gē kyā !
51Would students ever forget their teacher?
51Hostel mē̃ jō rahtē haĩ vah tō kabhī nahī̃ bhūlē̃gē .
52Those who live in a hostel would never forget.
52Jō student hostel mē̃ rahtē haĩ unhē̃ tō pakkā hōgā nā . 53Yahā̃ tō vah bhī pakkā niśhchay nahī̃ hai .
53Students living in a hostel definitely remember firmly, whereas here, you don’t have that firm faith.
54Number-vār purūṣhārth anusār hostel mē̃ baiṭhē haĩ tō jarūr students haĩ parantu yah pakkā niśhchay nahī̃ hai , jāntē haĩ sab apnē-apnē purūṣhārth anusār pad lē rahē haĩ .
54Each of you is sitting in this hostel, numberwise, according to your efforts and, although you are all students, you do not have that firm faith. 55Baba knows that each of you is claiming your status according to your own individual effort.
55Us paṛhāī mē̃ tō phir bhī kōī barrister bantē haĩ , engineer bantē haĩ , doctor bantē haĩ .
56In those studies, some become barristers and others become engineers or doctors.
56Yahā̃ tō tum viśhva K|kē mālik ban rahē hō .
57Here, you are becoming the masters of the world.
57Tō aisē student key|kī buddhi kaisī hōnī chāhiē .
58Therefore, what should the intellects of such students be like?
58Chalan , vārtālāp kaisā achchhā hōnā chāhiē .
59Their behaviour and way of speaking has to be very good.
59Bāp samjhātē haĩ - bachchē , tumkō kabhī rōnā nahī̃ hai . 60Tum viśhva K|kē mālik bantē hō , yāhusēn nahī̃ machānī chāhiē .
60The Father explains: Children, you must never cry; you are becoming the masters of the world. 61You must never cry out of distress.
61Yāhusēn machānā - yah hai highest rōnā .
62To cry out of distress is the highest (worst) form of crying.
62Bāp tō kahtē haĩ jin rōyā tin khōyā … viśhva key|kī ūñch tē ūñch bādśhāhī ganvā baiṭhtē haĩ .
63The Father says: Those who cry are the ones who lose out. 64They lose the most elevated kingdom of the world.
63Kahtē tō haĩ ham nar sē nārāyaṇ bannē āyē haĩ parantu chalan kahā̃ !
65You say that you have come to change from an ordinary human into Narayan, but you don’t behave accordingly.
64Number-vār purūṣhārth anusār sab purūṣhārth kar rahē haĩ .
66All of you are making effort, numberwise.
65Kōī tō achchhī rīti pās|pass hō scholarship lē lētē haĩ , kōī nā-pass hō jātē haĩ .
67Some pass very well and claim a scholarship, whereas others fail.
66Number-vār tō hōtē hī haĩ .
68All of you are numberwise.
67Tumhārē mē̃ bhī kōī tō paṛhtē haĩ , kōī paṛhtē bhī nahī̃ haĩ .
69Even amongst you, some study and some don’t study at all.
68Jaisē gānv vālō̃ kō paṛhnā achchhā nahī̃ lagtā hai .
70People from the villages don’t like studying.
69Ghās kāṭnē liē bōlō tō khuśhī sē jāyēṅgē .
71However, if you ask them to cut grass, they will do that happily.
70Usmē̃ svatantr life samajhtē haĩ .
72They consider that to be having an independent life.
71Paṛhnā bandhan samajhtē haĩ , aisē bhī bahut hōtē haĩ .
73They consider studying to be bondage.
72Sāhūkārō̃ mē̃ jamīndār lōg bhī cum|kam nahī̃ hōtē haĩ .
74Many are like that, even wealthy landowners.
73Apnē kō independent baṛā khuśhī mē̃ samajhtē haĩ .
75They consider themselves to be independent and very happy.
74Naukrī nām tō nahī̃ hai nā .
76At least it isn’t called a job.
75Officer-i ādi mē̃ tō manuṣhya naukrī kartē haĩ nā .
77Other people have to do a job in an office, etc.
76Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō bāp paṛhātē haĩ viśhva kā mālik banānē .
78The Father is now teaching you children in order to make you into the masters of the world.
77Naukrī kē liē nahī̃ paṛhātē .
79He does not teach you in order to enable you to find a job.
78Tum tō is paṛhāī sē viśhva kā mālik bannē vālē hō nā .
80You are going to become the masters of the world through this study.
79Baṛī ūñchī paṛhāī ṭhaharī .
81This study is very elevated.
80Tum tō viśhva K|kē mālik bilkul independent ban jātē hō .
82You become the masters of the world, those who are totally independent.
81Bāt kitnī simple hai .
83This is a very simple aspect.
82Ēk hī paṛhāī hai jissē tum itnē ūñch mahārājā-mahārānī bantē hō sō bhī pavitra .
84This is the only study through which you can become such elevated emperors and empresses, and pure too.
83Tum tō kahtē hō kōī bhī dharm vālā hō , ākar paṛhē . 84Samajhē̃gē yah paṛhāī tō bahut ūñchī hai .
85You say that people of any religion can come and study here. 86They will understand that this study is very elevated.
85Viśhva K|kē mālik bantē hō , yah tō bāp paṛhātē haĩ .
87The Father is teaching you in order to make you into the masters of the world.
86Tumhārī ab buddhi kitnī viśhāl banī hai .
88Your intellects have now become very broad and subtle.
87Had key|kī buddhi sē bēhad key|kī buddhi mē̃ āyē hō number-vār purūṣhārth anusār .
89From limited intellects, your intellects have now become unlimited intellects, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.
88Kitnī khuśhī rahtī hai - ham sab aurō̃ kō viśhva kā mālik banāvē .
90You have a lot of happiness that you are making others into the masters of the world.
89Vāstav mē̃ naukrī tō bhal vahā̃ bhī hōtī hai , dās-dāsiyā̃ , naukar ādi tō chāhiē nā .
91In fact, there are jobs there too. 92Maids and servants, etc. are all needed there.
90Paṛhē kē āgē anpaṛhē bharī ḍhōyēṅgē isliē bāp kahtē haĩ achchhī rīti paṛhō tō tum yah ban saktē hō .
93Those who do not study will carry the burden of those who have studied. 94This is why the Father says: If you study well, you can become this.
91Kahtē bhī haĩ ham yah banē̃gē . 92Parantu paṛhē̃gē nahī̃ tō kyā banē̃gē .
95You say that you will become this but what will you become if you don’t study?
93Nahī̃ paṛhtē haĩ tō phir bāp kō itnā regard sē yād nahī̃ kartē haĩ .
96If you do not study, it means that you do not remember the Father with that much regard.
94Bāp kahtē haĩ jitnā tum yād karē̃gē tō tumhārē vikarma vināśh hōṅgē .
97The Father says: The more remembrance you have, the more your sins will be absolved.
95Bachchē kahtē haĩ bābā jaisē āp chalāō , bāp bhī mat in dvārā hī dēgē nā .
98Children say: Baba, we will act according to Your directions. 99The Father will give us directions through this one.
96Parantu inkī mat bhī lētē nahī̃ , phir bhī purānī saṛī huī manuṣhya mat par hī chaltē haĩ .
100However, some don’t even accept this one’s directions. 101They continue to follow the old, rotten dictates of human beings.
97Dēkhtē bhī haĩ śhivbābā is rath dvārā mat dētē haĩ phir bhī apnī mat par chaltē haĩ .
102Although they can see that Shiv Baba is giving directions through this chariot, they still continue to follow their own dictates.
98Jiskō pāī-paisē key|kī kauṛī jaisī mat kahē̃ , us par chaltē haĩ .
103They follow the dictates that are only worth pennies and shells.
99Rāvaṇ key|kī mat par chaltē-chaltē is samay kauṛī misal ban gayē haĩ .
104By following the dictates of Ravan, you have now become as worthless as shells.
100Ab rām śhivbābā mat dētē haĩ .
105Rama, Shiv Baba, is now giving you directions.
101Niśhchay mē̃ hī vijay hai , ismē̃ kabhī nuksān nahī̃ hōgā .
106There is victory through having faith. 107There will never be any loss in this.
102Nuksān kō bhī bāp phāydē mē̃ badal dēgē . 103Parantu niśhchaybuddhi vālō̃ kō .
108The Father will even change any loss into a profit, but only for those whose intellects have faith.
104Sanśhay-buddhi vālē andar ghuṭkā khātē rahē̃gē .
109Those whose intellects have doubt will continue to choke inside.
105Niśhchaybuddhi vālō̃ kō kabhī ghuṭkā , kabhī ghāṭā paṛ nahī̃ saktā .
110Those whose intellects have faith can never choke; they can never experience a loss.
106Bābā khud guarantee kartē haĩ - śhrīmat par chalnē sē kabhī akalyāṇ hō nahī̃ saktā .
111The Father Himself gives a guarantee: There can never be a loss when you follow shrimat.
107Manuṣhya mat kō dēhdhārī key|kī mat kahā jātā hai .
112Human dictates are called the dictates of bodily beings.
108Yahā̃ tō hai hī manuṣhya mat .
113Here, there are only human dictates.
109Gāyā bhī jātā hai - manuṣhya mat , īśhvarīy mat aur daivī mat .
114It has been remembered that there are human instructions, God’s instructions and the instructions of the deities.
110Ab tumhē̃ īśhvarīy mat milī hai , jissē tum manuṣhya sē dēvtā bantē hō .
115You have now received God’s instructions through which you become deities from human beings.
111Phir vahā̃ tō svarg mē̃ tum sukh hī pātē hō . 112Kōī duḥkh key|kī bāt nahī̃ . 113Vah bhī sthāī sukh hō jātā hai .
116Then, there, in heaven, you only experience happiness; there is no sorrow; there is constant happiness.
114Is samay tumkō feeling mē̃ lānā hōtā hai , bhaviṣhya key|kī feeling ātī hai .
117You have to experience that feeling at this time. 118You feel the future.
115Abhī yah hai purūṣhōttam saṅgamyug , jabki śhrīmat miltī hai .
119This is now the most auspicious confluence age when you receive shrimat.
116Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ kalp-kalp , kalp K|kē saṅgamyug par ātā hū̃ , uskō tum jāntē hō .
120The Father says: I come, cycle after cycle, at the confluence age. 121Only you know that One.
117Unkī mat par tum chaltē hō .
122You follow His directions.
118Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē , gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ bhal rahō , kaun kahtā hai tum kapṛē ādi badalī karō .
123The Father says: Children, by all means, stay at home with your families. 124Who says that you have to change your clothes, etc.?
119Bhal kuchh bhī pahanō .
125Wear whatever you want.
120Bahutō̃ sē connection mē̃ ānā paṛtā hai .
126You have to have connections with many.
121Raṅgīn kapṛō̃ kē liē kōī manā nahī̃ kartē haĩ .
127There are no objections to your wearing coloured clothes.
122Kōī bhī kapṛā pahanō , insē kōī tailuk nahī̃ .
128You can wear whatever clothes you want; that has nothing to do with it.
123Bāp kahtē haĩ dēh sahit dēh K|kē sab sambandh chhōṛō .
129The Father says: Renounce the consciousness of bodies and all bodily relations.
124Bākī pahanō sab kuchh .
130You can wear whatever you want.
125Sirph apnē kō ātmā samajh bāp kō yād karō , yah pakkā niśhchay karō .
131Simply consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father. 132Let there be this firm faith.
126Yah bhī jāntē hō ātmā hī patit aur pāvan bantī hai , mahātmā kō bhī mahān ātmā kahē̃gē , mahān paramātmā nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
133You also know that it is souls that become pure and impure. 134A mahatma is called a great soul. 135“Great Supreme Soul” is never said.
127Kahnā bhī śhōbhtā nahī̃ .
136It does not sound right to say that.
128Kitnī achchhī points haĩ samajhnē key|kī .
137These are such good points to understand.
129Satgurū sarv kō sadgati dēnē vālā tō ēk hī bāp hai .
138The Satguru who grants salvation to everyone is the one Father.
130Vahā̃ kabhī akālē mr̥iityu hōtī nahī̃ .
139Untimely death never takes place there.
131Abhī tum bachchē samajhtē hō bābā hamkō phir sē aisā dēvtā banātē haĩ .
140You children now understand that Baba is making you into deities once again.
132Āgē yah buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ thā .
141Previously, this was not in your intellects.
133Kalp key|kī āyu kitnī hai , yah bhī nahī̃ jāntē thē .
142You didn’t even know what the duration of each cycle is.
134Abhī tō sārī smr̥iti āī hai .
143You have now been reminded of everything.
135Yah bhī bachchē samajhtē haĩ ātmā kō hī pāp ātmā , puṇya ātmā kahā jātā hai .
144You children also know that it is souls that are called sinful souls or charitable souls.
136Pāp paramātmā kabhī nahī̃ kahā jātā .
145“Sinful Supreme Soul” is never said.
137Phir kōī kahē paramātmā sarvavyāpī hai tō bhī kitnī bēsamajhī hai .
146To say that God is omnipresent is such senselessness.
138Yah bāp hī baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
147The Father sits here and explains this.
139Abhī tum jāntē hō 5 hazār varṣh kē bād pāp ātmāō̃ kō puṇya ātmā bāp hī ākar banātē haĩ .
148You now understand that the Father alone comes every 5000 years to change you from sinful souls into charitable souls.
140Ēk kō nahī̃ , sab bachchō̃ kō banātē haĩ .
149He doesn’t only change one; He changes all of you children.
141Bāp kahtē haĩ tum bachchō̃ kō banānē vālā maĩ hī bēhad kā bāp hū̃ .
150The Father says: I am the unlimited Father who changes you children.
142Jarūr bachchō̃ kō bēhad kā sukh dū̃gā .
151I would surely give you children unlimited happiness.
143Satyug mē̃ hōtī hī haĩ pavitra ātmāyē̃ .
152In the golden age, there are only pure souls.
144Rāvaṇ par jīt pānē sē hī tum puṇya ātmā ban jātē hō .
153It is by conquering Ravan that you become pure, charitable souls.
145Tum feel kartē hō , māyā kitnē vighna ḍāltī hai .
154You feel how many obstacles Maya creates.
146Ēkdam nāk mē̃ dam kar dētī hai .
155She completely suffocates you.
147Tum samajhtē hō māyā sē yuddha kaisē chaltī hai . 148Unhōnnē phir kauravō̃ aur pāṇḍavō̃ key|kī yuddha , laśhkar ādi kyā-kyā baiṭh dikhāyē haĩ .
156You understand how a war takes place with Maya, but they have shown a war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas and shown their armies, etc.
149Is yuddha kā kiskō bhī patā nahī̃ . 150Yah hai gupta .
157No one knows about this war; it is incognito.
