Murli

9Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

10Bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ , sāth mē̃ yah dādā bhī samajhtē haĩ kyōṅki bāp in dādā dvārā baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

10The Father sits here and explains and, because the Father sits and explains through this Dada, this Dada listens to Him at the same time.

11Jaisē tum samajhtē hō , vaisē yah dādā bhī samajhtē haĩ .

11This Dada understands just like you do.

12Dādā kō bhagvān nahī̃ kahā jātā , yah hai bhagvānuvāch .

12Dada is not called God. 13These are the versions of God.

13Bāp kyā samjhātē haĩ  ?

14What does the Father explain?

14Dēhī-abhimānī bhav kyōṅki apnē kō ātmā samajhnē bigar parampitā paramātmā kō yād kar na sakē̃ .

15May you become soul conscious. 16This is because, unless you consider yourselves to be souls, you cannot remember the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.

15Is samay tō sabhī ātmāyē̃ patit haĩ .

17At present, all souls are impure.

16Patit kō hī manuṣhya kahā jātā hai , pāvan kō dēvtā kahā jātā hai .

18Impure ones are called human beings, whereas pure ones are called deities.

17Yah bahut sahaj samajhnē aur samjhānē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

19These things are very easy to understand and explain to others.

18Manuṣhya hī pukārtē haĩ - hē patitō̃ kō pāvan banānē vālē āō .

20It is human beings who call out: O Purifier of the Impure, come!

19Dēvī-dēvtāyē̃ aisē kabhī nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

21Deities never call out in this way.

20Patit-pāvan bāp patitō̃ K|kē bulāvē par ātē haĩ .

22The Purifier Father comes at the call of the impure ones.

21Ātmāō̃ kō pāvan banākar phir naī pāvan duniyā bhī sthāpan kartē haĩ .

23He makes souls pure and also establishes a pure, new world.

22Ātmā hī bāp kō pukārtī hai . 23Śharīr tō nahī̃ pukārēgā .

24It is souls who call out to the Father; bodies do not call out.

24Pārlaukik bāp jō sadā pāvan hai , usē hī sab yād kartē haĩ .

25Everyone remembers the parlokik Father, the One who is ever pure.

25Yah hai purānī duniyā .

26This world is old.

26Bāp naī pāvan duniyā banātē haĩ .

27The Father makes the world new and pure.

27Kaī tō aisē bhī haĩ jō kahtē haĩ hamkō tō yahā̃ hī apār sukh haĩ , dhan māl bahut hai . 28Vah samajhtē haĩ hamārē liē svarg yahī haĩ .

28Some people say that they have unlimited happiness here (in the old world). 29They have plenty of wealth and property here and so they think that this is heaven for them.

29Vah tumhārī bātē̃ kaisē mānē̃gē  ?

30How would they accept the things you say?

30Kaliyugī duniyā kō svarg samajhnā - yah bhī bēsamajhī hai .

31It is senseless to consider this iron-aged world to be heaven.

31Kitnī jaṛjaṛībhūt avasthā hō gaī hai .

32This world has reached a state of total decay.

32Tō bhī manuṣhya kahtē haĩ ham tō svarg mē̃ baiṭhē haĩ .

33But still people say that they are sitting in heaven.

33Bachchē nahī̃ samjhātē haĩ tō bāp kahē̃gē nā - tum kyā pattharbuddhi hō  ?

34If you children are unable to explain this, the Father would definitely ask if your intellects are made of stone.

34Dūsrē kō nahī̃ samjhā saktē hō  ?

35Are you not able to explain this to others?

35Jab khud pārasbuddhi banē̃ tab tō dūsrō̃ kō bhī banāvē̃ .

36Only when you become those with divine intellects will you be able to make others the same as yourselves.

36Purūṣhārth achchhā karnā chāhiē , ismē̃ lajjā key|kī bāt nahī̃ .

37You have to make effort very well. 38There is no question of being embarrassed about this.

37Parantu manuṣhyō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ ādhākalp key|kī jō ulṭī matē̃ bharī huī haĩ vah kōī jaldī bhūltē nahī̃ .

39However, human beings are unable to forget very quickly the wrong ideas that their intellects have been filled with for half a cycle.

38Jab tak bāp kō yathārth rīti nahī̃ pahchānā hai tab tak vah tākat ā nahī̃ saktī .

40Until you have accurate recognition of the Father, you won’t be able to have that power.

39Bāp kahtē haĩ in vēdō̃-śhāstrō̃ ādi sē manuṣhya kuchh bhī sudhartē nahī̃ haĩ .

41The Father says: Human beings have not been reformed by studying those Vedas and scriptures.

40Din-pratidin aur hī bigaṛtē āyē haĩ .

42They became worse day by day.

41Satōpradhān sē tamōpradhān hī banē haĩ .

43They have become tamopradhan from satopradhan.

42Yah kiskī bhī buddhi mē̃ nahī̃ hai ki ham hī satōpradhān dēvī-dēvtā thē , kaisē nīchē girē haĩ .

44It is not in anyone's intellect how we were satopradhan deities and how we came down.

43Kiskō zarā bhī patā nahī̃ hai aur phir 84 janm kē badlē 84 lākh janm kah diyā hai tō phir patā bhī kaisē paṛē .

45No one knows anything at all. 46Instead of 84 births, they speak of 8.4 million births. 47Therefore, how could they know anything?

44Bāp bigar gyān key|kī rōśhnī dēnē vālā kōī nahī̃ .

48No one but the Father can give you the light of this knowledge.

45Sabhī ēk-dō K|kē pichhāṛī dar-dar dhakkē khātē rahtē haĩ .

49Everyone continues to stumble along from door to door, one after another.

46Nīchē girtē-girtē paṭ paṛ gayē haĩ , sab tākat khatm hō gaī hai .

50They have continued to come down and have now reached the bottom. 51They have used up all their strength.

47Buddhi mē̃ bhī tākat nahī̃ jō bāp kō yathārth jān sakē̃ .

52Their intellects have no strength with which to recognise the Father accurately.

48Bāp hī ākar sabkī buddhi kā tālā khōltē haĩ .

53The Father comes and opens the lock on everyone's intellect.

49Tō kitnē refresh hōtē haĩ .

54Then they become so refreshed.

50Bāp kē pās bachchē refresh hōnē ātē haĩ .

55You children come to the Father in order to be refreshed.

51Ghar mē̃ viśhrām miltā hai nā .

56You have rest in your home.

52Bāp K|kē milnē sē bhakti mārg key|kī sab thakān hī dūr hō jātī hai .

57When you find the Father, all your tiredness from the path of devotion is removed.

53Satyug kō bhī viśhrāmpurī kahā jātā hai .

58The golden age is also called a land of rest.

54Vahā̃ tumhē̃ kitnā viśhrām miltā hai .

59You receive so much rest there.

55Kōī aprāpta vastu nahī̃ jiskē liē pariśhram karnā paṛē .

60There, you do not lack anything for which you would have to make effort.

56Yahā̃ refresh bāp bhī kartē haĩ tō yah dādā bhī kartē haĩ .

61Here, the Father, as well as this Dada, refreshes you.

57Śhivbābā key|kī gōd mē̃ ātē kitnā viśhrām miltā hai .

62As soon as you come into Shiv Baba's lap you receive so much rest.

58Viśhrām mānā hī śhānt .

63Rest means silence.

59Manuṣhya bhī thakkar viśhrāmī hō jātē haĩ .

64People go to rest when they are tired.

60Kōī kahā̃ , kōī kahā̃ viśhrām kē liē jātē haĩ nā .

65Some go to one place to rest and others go somewhere else to rest.

61Lēkin us viśhrām mē̃ refreshment nahī̃ .

66However, there is no refreshment in that rest.

62Yahā̃ tō bāp tumhē̃ kitnā gyān sunākar refresh kartē haĩ .

67Here, the Father refreshes you so much with this knowledge.

63Bāp kī yād sē bhī kitnē refresh hōtē aur tamōpradhān sē satōpradhān bhī bantē jātē hō .

68You also become refreshed by having remembrance of the Father. 69From being tamopradhan, you continue to become satopradhan.

64Satōpradhān bannē kē liē yahā̃ bāp kē pās ātē hō .

70You come here to the Father in order to become satopradhan.

65Bāp kahtē haĩ mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchō̃ , bāp kō yād karō .

71The Father says: Sweetest children, remember the Father.

66Bāp nē samjhāyā hai ki sārē sr̥iṣhṭi kā chakra kaisē phirtā hai , sarv ātmāō̃ kō viśhrām kaisē aur kahā̃ miltā hai .

72The Father has explained how the world cycle turns and how and where all souls receive rest.

67Tum bachchō̃ kā farj hai - sabkō bāp kā paigām dēnā .

73It is the duty of you children to give everyone the Father's message.

68Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō tō is varsē K|kē tum mālik ban jāyēṅgē .

74The Father says: Remember Me and you will become the masters of this inheritance.

69Bāp is saṅgamyug par naī svarg key|kī duniyā rachtē haĩ .

75The Father creates the new world of heaven at the confluence age.

70Jahā̃ tum jākar mālik bantē hō .

76You go and become the masters there.

71Phir dvāpar mē̃ māyā rāvaṇ K|kē dvārā tumhē̃ śhrāp miltā hai , tō pavitratā , sukh , śhānti , dhan ādi sab khatm hō jātā hai .

77Then, in the copper age, you are cursed by Maya, Ravan, and you lose all of your purity, peace, happiness, wealth, etc.

72Kaisē dhīrē-dhīrē khatm hōtā hai vah bhī bāp nē samjhāyā hai .

78The Father has also explained how you gradually lose them.

73Duḥkhdhām mē̃ kōī viśhrām thōṛēhī hōtā hai . 74Sukhdhām mē̃ viśhrām hī viśhrām hai .

79There cannot be any rest in this land of sorrow, whereas there is nothing but rest in that land of happiness.

75Manuṣhyō̃ kō bhakti kitnā thakātī hai .

80People become very tired by performing devotion.

76Janma-janmāntar bhakti sē kitnē thak jātē haĩ . 77Kaisē ēkdam kaṅgāl ban gayē hō , yah sārā rāz bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

81They have become tired by performing devotion for birth after birth and you became totally poverty-stricken. 82The Father sits here and explains all these secrets.

78Nayē-nayē ātē haĩ tō unhē̃ kitnā samjhānā hōtā hai .

83When new ones come here, you have to explain so much to them.

79Har ēk bāt par manuṣhya kitnā sōchtē haĩ .

84They think about everything so much.

80Samajhtē haĩ kahā̃ jādū na hō .

85They are afraid that they might have a magic spell cast on them.

81Arē , tum hī kahtē hō bhagvān jādūgar hai .

86However, you are the ones who say that God is the Magician.

82Tō bāp kahtē haĩ hā̃ , maĩ barōbar jādūgar hū̃ . 83Parantu vah jādū nahī̃ , jissē manuṣhya bhēṛ-bakrī ban jāyē̃ .

87So, the Father says: Yes, I truly am the Magician, but I do not perform magic to change people into sheep or goats.

84Yah buddhi sē samjhā jātā hai , yah tō jaisē riṛh misal hai .

88Your intellects can understand which ones are like goats.

85Gāyan bhī tō hai surmaṇḍal K|kē sāz sē … is samay tō jaisē sabhī manuṣhya riṛh-bakriyā̃ haĩ .

89There is the song that says: What could a goat know about the celestial sounds of heaven? 90At present, people are like sheep and goats.

86Yah bātē̃ sārī yahā̃ kī haĩ . 87Is samay kā hī gāyan hai .

91All of those stories refer to this place; those songs refer to this time.

88Kalp K|kē pichhāṛī kō bhī manuṣhya samajh nahī̃ saktē .

92People are unable to understand even at the end of the cycle.

89Chaṇḍikā kā kitnā baṛā mēlā lagtā hai .

93They hold such a large fair for Chandika (the Cremator goddess).

90Vah kaun thī  ?

94Who was she?

91Kahtē haĩ vah ēk dēvī thī .

95They say that she was a goddess.

92Aisā nām tō vahā̃ kōī hōtā hī nahī̃ .

96They do not have such names in the golden age.

93Satyug mē̃ kitnē achchhē sundar nām hōtē haĩ .

97They have beautiful names in the golden age.

94Satyugī sampradāy kō śhrēṣhṭhāchārī kahā jātā hai . 95Kaliyugī sampradāy kō tō kitnā chhī-chhī title dētē haĩ .

98Those in the golden-aged community are called elevated whereas those in the iron-aged community have been given dirty titles.

96Abhī K|kē manuṣhyō̃ kō śhrēṣhṭh nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

99One wouldn’t say that the people of today are elevated.

97Dēvtāō̃ kō śhrēṣhṭh kahā jātā hai .

100It is the deities who are called elevated.

98Gāyan bhī hai manuṣhya sē dēvtā kiyē , karat na lāgī war|vār .

101There is a saying that it didn't take God long to change human beings into deities.

99Manuṣhya sē dēvtā , dēvtā sē manuṣhya kaisē bantē haĩ , yah rāz bāp nē tumhē̃ samjhāyā hai .

102The Father has explained to you the secret of how deities change into human beings and how human beings change into deities.

100Unkō deity world , inkō human world kahā jātā hai .

103That is a deity world and this is a human world.

101Din kō sōjharā , rāt kō andhiyārā kahā jātā hai .

104Day is light and night is darkness.

102Gyān hai sōjharā , bhakti hai andhiyārā .

105This knowledge is light and devotion is darkness.

103Agyān nīnd kahā jātā hai nā .

106It is called the sleep of ignorance.

104Tum bhī samajhtē hō ki āgē ham kuchh bhī nahī̃ jāntē thē tō nētī-nētī kahtē thē arthāt ham nahī̃ jāntē .

107You understand that you knew nothing of this previously. 108You used to say "neti, neti", which means that you didn’t know.

105Abhī tum samajhtē hō - ham bhī tō pahlē nāstik thē . 106Bēhad K|kē bāp kō hī nahī̃ jāntē thē .

109You now understand that you were atheists previously; you didn’t know the unlimited Father.

107Vah hai aslī avināśhī bābā .

110He is your true, eternal Baba.

108Usē sarv ātmāō̃ kā bāp kahā jātā hai .

111He is called the Father of all souls.

109Tum bachchē jāntē hō - abhī ham us bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē banē haĩ .

112You children know that you now belong to that unlimited Father.

110Bāp bachchō̃ kō gupta gyān dētē haĩ .

113The Father gives you children this incognito knowledge.

111Yah gyān manuṣhyō̃ kē pās kahā̃ mil na sakē .

114You cannot receive this knowledge from human beings.

112Ātmā bhī gupta hai , gupta gyān ātmā dhāraṇ kartī hai .

115You souls are incognito and this knowledge that you souls imbibe is also incognito.

113Ātmā hī mukh dvārā gyān sunātī hai .

116You souls speak this knowledge through your mouths.

114Ātmā hī gupta bāp kō gupta yād kartī hai .

117You souls stay in incognito remembrance of the incognito Father.

115Bāp kahtē haĩ bachchō̃ , dēh-abhimānī nahī̃ banō .

118The Father says: Children, do not become body conscious.

116Dēh-abhimān sē ātmā key|kī tākat khatm hōtī hai .

119Body consciousness makes you lose your strength.

117Ātma-abhimānī bannē sē ātmā mē̃ tākat jamā hōtī hai .

120By becoming soul conscious, you souls accumulate power within yourselves.

118Bāp kahtē haĩ drama K|kē rāz kō achchhī rīti samajhkar chalnā hai .

121The Father says: You have to continue to move along whilst very clearly understanding the secrets of the drama.

119Is avināśhī drama K|kē rāz kō jō ṭhīk rīti jāntē haĩ , vah sadā harṣhit rahtē haĩ .

122Those who very clearly understand the secrets of this imperishable drama will remain constantly cheerful.

120Is samay manuṣhya ūpar jānē key|kī kitnī kōśhiśh kartē haĩ , samajhtē haĩ ūpar mē̃ duniyā hai .

123At this time, people make so much effort to go above because they think that there is a world up there.

121Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ sun rakhā hai ūpar mē̃ duniyā hai tō vahā̃ jākar dēkhē̃ .

124They have heard from the scriptures that there is a world up there and so they want to go and see it.

122Vahā̃ duniyā basānē key|kī kōśhiśh kartē haĩ . 123Duniyā tō bahut basāī hai nā .

125Because this world population has grown so much, they try to establish a world up there.

124Bhārat mē̃ sirph ēk hī ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm thā aur kōī khaṇḍ ādi nahī̃ thā .

126There only used to be the one original, eternal, deity religion in Bharat; there were no other lands, etc.

125Phir kitnā basāyā hai .

127Then the population grew so much.

126Tum vichār karō bhārat K|kē kitnē thōṛē ṭukṛē mē̃ dēvtāyē̃ hōtē haĩ .

128Just think about it: the deities must have been living in such a small area of Bharat.

127Jamunā K|kē kinārē par hī paristān thā jahā̃ yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ rājya kartē thē .

129Paristhan existed by the banks of the River Jamuna where Lakshmi and Narayan ruled.

128Kitnī sundar śhōbhāyamān , satōpradhān duniyā thī . 129Natural beauty thī .

130The world was then so beautiful and satopradhan; there was natural beauty.

130Ātmā mē̃ hī sārā chamatkār rahtā hai .

131The entire sparkle is in souls.

131Bachchō̃ kō dikhāyā thā śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā janm kaisē hōtā hai .

132Some of you children have had visions of how Shri Krishna takes birth.

132Sārē kamrē mē̃ jaisē rōśhnī hō jātī hai .

133It is as though there is light in the whole room.

133Tō bāp baiṭh kar bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ , abhī tum paristān mē̃ jānē kē liē purūṣhārth kar rahē hō .

134The Father sits here and explains to you children. 135You are now making effort to go to Paristhan.

134Bākī aisē nahī̃ - tālāb mē̃ ḍubkī lagānē sē pariyā̃ ban jāyēṅgē .

136It isn't that you become angels by taking a dip in that lake.

135Yah sabhī jhūṭhē nām rakh diyē haĩ .

137Lakes have been given those false names.

136Lākhō̃ varṣh kah dēnē sē bilkul hī sab-kuchh bhūl gayē haĩ .

138By speaking of hundreds of thousands of years, they have completely forgotten everything.

137Abhī tum abhul ban rahē hō number-vār purūṣhārth anusār .

139You now remember everything, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.

138Vichār kiyā jātā hai - itnī chhōṭī-sī ātmā kitnā baṛā part śharīr sē bajātī hai , phir śharīr sē ātmā nikal jātī hai tō śharīr kā dēkhō kyā hall|hāl hō jātā hai .

140You should think about how such tiny souls play such large parts through their bodies. 141Just look at the state of someone’s body after the soul has left it.

139Ātmā hī part bajātī hai .

142It is souls who play parts.

140Kitnī baṛī vichār key|kī bāt hai .

143This is a matter for deep thought.

141Sārī duniyā K|kē actors ( ātmāyē̃ ) apnī act anusār hī part bajātē haĩ . 142Kuchh bhī phark nahī̃ paṛ saktā .

144All the actors (souls) of the whole world have to act out their own parts. 145There cannot be the slightest difference in their own parts.

143Hūbahū sārī act phir sē repeat hō rahī hai .

146All the acts are being repeated identically.

144Ismē̃ sanśhay kar nahī̃ saktē .

147There can be no doubt about this.

145Har ēk key|kī buddhi mē̃ phark paṛ saktā hai kyōṅki ātmā tō man-buddhi sahit hai nā .

148There can be a difference between everyone’s intellect, because a mind and intellect are in each soul.

146Bachchō̃ kō mālūm hai ki hamkō scholarship lēnī hai tō dil andar khuśhī hōtī hai .

149When children know that they are going to receive a scholarship, they have happiness in their hearts.

147Yahā̃ bhī andar ānē sē hī aim object sāmnē dēkhtē haĩ tō khuśhī tō jarūr hōgī .

150Here, too, as soon as you come in and see your aim and objective in front of you, you definitely become happy.

148Abhī tum jāntē hō ham yah ( dēvī-dēvtā ) bannē kē liē yahā̃ paṛhtē haĩ .

151You now know that you are studying here in order to become like them (Lakshmi and Narayan).

149Aisā kōī school nahī̃ jahā̃ dūsrē janm key|kī aim object kō dēkh sakē̃ .

152There isn't any other school where you can see your aim and objective for your next birth.

154We are now at the confluence age and are studying this education in order to become like Lakshmi and Narayan in the future.

152Kitnī gupta paṛhāī hai .

155This is such an incognito study.

153Aim object kō dēkh kitnī khuśhī hōnī chāhiē .

156There should be so much happiness when you see your aim and objective.

154Khuśhī kā pārāvār nahī̃ .

157There is no limit to your happiness.

155School vā pāṭhśhālā hō tō aisī .

158This is what a school should be like.

156Hai kitnī gupta , parantu jabardast pāṭhśhālā hai .

159This school is incognito, but very powerful.

157Jitnī baṛī paṛhāī utnī hī facilities rahtī haĩ .

160Normally, according to how important a study is, there would be that many facilities.

158Parantu yahā̃ tum paṭ par baiṭh paṛhtē hō .

161However, here, you study whilst sitting on the floor.

159Ātmā kō paṛhnā hōtā hai phir chāhē paṭ par baiṭhē , chāhē takht par , parantu khuśhī sē khaggiyā̃ mārtē rahō ki is paṛhāī kō pās|pass karnē bād jākar yah banē̃gē .

164The Father doesn’t teach deities.

162Dēvtāō̃ kō yah gyān kahā̃ .

165How could deities have this knowledge?

163Manuṣhya tō mūnjhtē haĩ kyā dēvtāō̃ mē̃ gyān nahī̃ hai .

166People become confused and ask: Do deities not have this knowledge?

164Dēvtāyē̃ hī is gyān sē dēvtā bantē haĩ .

167It was by studying this knowledge that they became deities.

165Dēvtā bannē kē bād phir gyān key|kī kyā darkār hai .

168Having become deities, what need would they have for this knowledge?

166Laukik paṛhāī sē barrister ban gayā , kamāī mē̃ lag gayā phir bairisṭarī paṛhē̃gē kyā  ?

169Would you continue to study to become a barrister after you had become a barrister and were earning an income?
