Question
2Praśhna : jō achchhē guṇvān bachchē haĩ unkī mukhya niśhāniyā̃ kyā hōṅgī ?
3Question: What are the main signs of the children who are good and virtuous?
Answer
3Uttar : vah kāṇṭō̃ kō fool|phūl banānē key|kī achchhī sēvā karē̃gē .
4Answer: They do the very good service of changing thorns into flowers.
4Kisī kō bhī kāṇṭā nahī̃ lagāyēṅgē , kabhī bhī āpas mē̃ laṛē̃gē nahī̃ .
5They do not prick anyone like thorns do. 6They never fight amongst themselves.
5Kisī kō bhī duḥkh nahī̃ dēgē .
7They do not cause sorrow for anyone.
6Duḥkh dēnā bhī kāṇṭā lagānā hai .
8To cause sorrow for them means to prick them like thorns.
Song
7Gīt : yah vakt jā rahā hai …
9Song: Time is passing by.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
10Om shanti.
9Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē rūhānī bachchō̃ nē number-vār purūṣhārth anusār is gīt kā arth|earth samjhā .
11You sweetest, long-lost and now-found, spiritual children understand the meaning of this song, numberwise, according to the efforts you make.
10Number-vār isliē kahtē haĩ kyōṅki kōī tō first grade mē̃ samajhtē haĩ , kōī second grade mē̃ , kōī-kōī third grade mē̃ .
12“Numberwise” is said because some have first-grade understanding, some second grade and others third grade.
11Samajh bhī har ēk key|kī apnī-apnī hai .
13Each one of you understands in your own way.
12Niśhchaybuddhi bhī har ēk key|kī apnī hai .
14Each of your intellects has your own individual faith.
13Bāp tō samjhātē rahtē haĩ , aisā hī hamēśhā samjhō ki śhivbābā in dvārā direction dētē haĩ .
15The Father continues to explain. 16Always consider it to be Shiv Baba who is giving directions through this one.
14Tum ādhākalp āsurī direction par chaltē āyē hō , ab aisē niśhchay karō ki ham īśhvarīy direction par chaltē haĩ tō bēṛā pār hō saktā hai .
17You have been following devilish directions for half a cycle. 18Now have the faith that by following God’s directions your boat can go across.
15Agar īśhvarīy direction na samajh manuṣhya kā direction samjhā tō mūñjh paṛē̃gē .
19If you consider these directions to come from a human being, and not from God, you become confused.
16Bāp kahtē haĩ - mērē direction par chalnē sē phir maĩ responsible hū̃ nā .
20The Father says: Follow My directions and I am then responsible for you.
17In dvārā jō kuchh hōtā hai , unkī activity kā maĩ hī responsible hū̃ , uskō ham right karē̃gē .
21I am responsible for whatever activity is performed through this one. 22I will make it right.
18Tum sirph hamārē direction par chalō .
23Simply continue to follow My directions.
19Jō achchhī rīti yād karē̃gē vahī direction par chalē̃gē .
24Those whose remembrance is accurate are the ones who follow My directions.
20Kadam-kadam īśhvarīy direction samajh chalē̃gē tō kabhī ghāṭā nahī̃ hōgā .
25If you understand at every step that these are God’s directions and you follow them, you can never experience a loss.
21Niśhchay mē̃ hī vijay hai .
26There is victory in having faith.
22Bahut bachchē in bātō̃ kō samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
27There are many children who do not understand these things.
23Thōṛā gyān ānē sē dēh-abhimān ā jātā hai . 24Yōg bahut hī cum|kam hai .
28By having a little of this knowledge, they become body conscious and they have very little yoga.
25Gyān tō hai history-geography kō jānnā , yah tō sahaj hai .
29Knowledge means to know the history and geography. 30This is very easy.
26Yahā̃ bhī manuṣhya kitnī science ādi paṛhtē haĩ .
31People here study so much science.
27Yah paṛhāī tō easy hai , bākī mēhnat hai yōg key|kī .
32This study is very easy; it is yoga that requires effort.
28Kōī kahē bābā ham yōg mē̃ bahut mast rahtē haĩ , bābā mānēgā nahī̃ .
33If someone says to Baba that he remains very intoxicated in yoga, Baba would not believe him.
29Bābā har ēk key|kī act kō dēkhtē haĩ .
34Baba sees each one’s acts.
30Bāp kō yād karnē vālā tō most lovely hōgā .
35Those who remember the Father must be the most lovely.
31Yād nahī̃ kartē isliē hī ulṭā-sulṭā kām hōtā hai . 32Bahut rāt-din kā fark hai .
36However, when you don’t have remembrance, it is then that you perform wrong acts; there is the difference of day and night.
33Abhī tum is sīṛhī K|kē chitra par bhī achchhī rīti samjhā saktē hō .
37You can now explain the picture of the ladder very well.
34Is samay hai kāṇṭō̃ kā jaṅgal . 35Yah bagīchā nahī̃ hai .
38At present, this is a jungle of thorns; it is not a garden.
36Yah tō clear samjhānā chāhiē ki bhārat phūlō̃ kā bagīchā thā .
39You should explain clearly that Bharat used to be a garden of flowers.
37Bagīchē mē̃ kabhī jaṅglī jānvar rahtē haĩ kyā ?
40Do wild animals ever live in a garden?
38Vahā̃ tō dēvī-dēvtā rahtē haĩ .
41Only deities live there.
39Bāp tō hai hī highest authority aur phir yah prajāpitā brahmā bhī highest authority ṭhaharē .
42The Father is the highest Authority and then Brahma, the Father of Humanity, is also the highest authority.
40Yah dādā hai sabsē baṛī authority .
43This Dada is also the highest authority.
41Śhiv aur prajāpitā brahmā .
44There is Shiva and there is Brahma, the Father of Humanity.
42Ātmāyē̃ haĩ śhiv bābā K|kē bachchē aur phir sākār mē̃ ham bhāī-bahan sab haĩ prajāpitā brahmā K|kē bachchē .
45You souls are the children of Shiv Baba and, in your corporeal forms, you are brothers and sisters, children of Brahma, the Father of Humanity.
43Yah hai sabkā great-great grand father .
46He is the great, great grandfather of everyone.
44Aisē highest authority kē liē hamkō makān chāhiē .
47A building is needed for this highest Authority.
45Aisē tum likhō phir dēkhō buddhi mē̃ kuchh ātā hai .
48Write this and see if it touches anyone’s intellect.
46Śhivbābā aur prajāpitā brahmā , ātmāō̃ kā bāp aur sab manuṣhya mātra kā bāp .
49There is Shiv Baba and there is Brahma, the Father of Humanity; the Father of all souls and the father of all human beings.
47Yah point bahut achchhī hai samjhānē key|kī .
50This is a very good point to explain to others.
48Parantu bachchē pūrī rīti samjhātē nahī̃ haĩ , bhūl jātē haĩ , gyān key|kī magarūrī chaṛh jātī hai .
51However, you children do not explain it fully. 52You forget it because you develop the arrogance of having this knowledge.
49Jaisēki bāpdādā par bhī jīt pā lētē haĩ .
53It is as though you even try to gain victory over BapDada.
50Yah dādā kahtē haĩ , mērī bhal na sunō . 51Hamēśhā samjhō śhivbābā samjhātē haĩ , unkī mat par chalō .
54This Dada says: OK, if you don’t listen to me, always think that it is Shiv Baba who is explaining and that you must follow His directions.
52Direct īśhvar mat dētē haĩ ki yah-yah karō , responsible ham haĩ .
55It is God who is directly giving you directions to do this and that. 56He is responsible.
53Īśhvarīy mat par chalō .
57Follow the directions given by God.
54Yah īśhvar thōṛēhī hai , tumkō īśhvar sē paṛhnā hai nā .
58This one is not God. 59You have to study with God.
55Hamēśhā samjhō yah direction īśhvar dētē haĩ .
60Constantly think that it is God who is giving you directions.
56Yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ bhī bhārat K|kē hī manuṣhya thē .
61Lakshmi and Narayan were also human beings of Bharat.
57Yah bhī sab manuṣhya haĩ . 58Parantu yah śhivālay K|kē rahnē vālē haĩ isliē sab namastē kartē haĩ .
62All are human beings, but they were all residents of Shivalaya; that is why everyone says namaste to them.
59Parantu bachchē pūrā samjhātē nahī̃ haĩ , apnā naśhā chaṛh jātā hai .
63However, some children don’t explain fully. 64Many develop arrogance of their knowledge.
60Defect tō bahutō̃ mē̃ hai nā .
65Many have defects.
61Jab pūrā yōg hō tab vikarma vināśh hō̃ .
66It is only when you have full yoga that your sins can be absolved.
62Viśhva kā mālik bannā kōī māsī kā ghar thōṛēhī hai .
67To become a master of the world is not like going to your aunty’s home.
63Bābā dēkhtē haĩ , māyā ēkdam nāk sē pakaṛkar gutter mē̃ girā dētī hai .
68Baba sees how Maya catches hold of some children by their noses and throws them into the gutter.
64Bāp kī yād mē̃ tō baṛī khuśhī mē̃ praphullit rahnā chāhiē .
69You should stay in remembrance of the Father with happiness and in full bloom.
65Sāmnē aim object khaṛī hai , ham yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ban rahē haĩ .
70Your aim and objective is in front of you. 71You have to become like Lakshmi and Narayan.
66Bhūl jānē sē khuśhī kā pārā nahī̃ chaṛhtā hai .
72By forgetting this, your degree of happiness does not rise.
67Kahtē haĩ hamkō nēṣhṭhā mē̃ biṭhāō , bāhar mē̃ ham yād nahī̃ kar saktē haĩ .
73Some say that they want to have conducted meditation because they are unable to remember Him when they are outside.
68Yād mē̃ nahī̃ rahtē haĩ isliē kabhī-kabhī bābā bhī programme bhēj dētē haĩ parantu yād mē̃ baiṭhtē thōṛēhī haĩ , buddhi idhar-udhar bhaṭaktī rahtī hai .
74Because you don’t stay in remembrance, Baba sometimes sends you a programme to follow but, in spite of that, you don’t sit in remembrance. 75Their intellects continue to wander here and there.
69Bābā apnā misāl batātē haĩ - nārāyaṇ kā kitnā pakkā bhakta thā , jahā̃-tahā̃ sāth mē̃ nārāyaṇ kā chitra rahtā thā .
76Baba gives his own example. 77He was such a strong devotee of Narayan that he always kept a picture of Narayan with him wherever he went.
70Phir bhī pūjā K|kē samay buddhi idhar-udhar bhāgtī thī .
78Nevertheless, his intellect would still wander around at the time of worshipping.
71Ismē̃ bhī aisā hōtā hai .
79The same happens here.
72Bāp kahtē haĩ chaltē-phirtē bāp kō yād karō parantu kaī kahtē haĩ - bahan nēṣhṭhā karāvē .
80The Father says: Whilst walking and moving around, you should continue to remember the Father, but many of you want to have a sister especially conduct meditation for you.
73Nēṣhṭhā kā tō kōī arth|earth hī nahī̃ hai .
81There is no reason to have specially conducted meditation.
74Bābā hamēśhā kahtē haĩ yād mē̃ rahō , kaī bachchē nēṣhṭhā mē̃ baiṭhē-baiṭhē dhyān mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ .
82Baba always says: Stay in remembrance! 83Whilst sitting in yoga, some children go into trance.
75Na gyān , na yād rahtī . 76Yā tō phir jhuṭkē khānē lag paṛtē haĩ , bahutō̃ kō ādat paṛ gaī hai .
84They are unable to remember this knowledge or have yoga and they start dozing off. 85Many have the habit of doing that.
77Yah tō alpkāl key|kī śhānti hō gaī . 78Gōyā bākī sārā din aśhānti rahtī hai .
86That peace is only temporary and it means that they are peaceless throughout the day.
79Chaltē-phirtē bāp kō yād nahī̃ karē̃gē tō pāpō̃ kā bōjhā kaisē utarēgā ?
87If you do not remember the Father whilst walking and moving around, how would your burden of sins be removed?
80Ādhākalp kā bōjhā hai .
88This burden is of half a cycle.
81Ismē̃ hī baṛī mēhnat hai . 82Apnē kō ātmā samjhō aur bāp kō yād karō .
89It is considering yourself to be a soul and remembering the Father that takes a lot of effort.
83Bhal bābā kō bahut bachchē likh bhējtē haĩ - itnā samay yād mē̃ rahā parantu yād rahtī nahī̃ hai . 84Chart kō samajhtē hī nahī̃ haĩ .
90Although many children write to Baba and tell Him that they stayed in remembrance for such-and-such a time, they are not really able to stay in remembrance for that long; they don’t really understand the chart.
85Bābā bēhad kā bāp hai .
91Baba is the unlimited Father.
86Patit-pāvan hai tō khuśhī mē̃ rahnā chāhiē .
92He is the Purifier, and so you should remain in happiness.
87Aisē nahī̃ , ham tō śhivbābā K|kē haĩ nā .
93You should not think that you belong to Shiv Baba anyway.
88Aisē bhī bahut haĩ , samajhtē haĩ ham tō bābā K|kē haĩ lēkin yād bilkul kartē nahī̃ .
94There are many children like this who think that they belong to Baba anyway, and they do not remember Him at all.
89Agar yād kartē hōtē tō phir pahlē number mē̃ jānā chāhiē .
95If they did remember Him, they would become number one.
90Kiskō samjhānē key|kī bhī baṛī achchhī buddhi chāhiē .
96You need a very good intellect in order to explain to others.
91Ham tō bhārat key|kī mahimā kartē haĩ .
97We are praising Bharat.
92Naī duniyā mē̃ ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kā rājya thā .
98When this world was new, there was a kingdom of deities.
93Abhī hai purānī duniyā , iron age .
99It is now an old world, the iron age.
94Vah sukhdhām , yah duḥkhdhām .
100That is a land of happiness and this is a land of sorrow.
95Bhārat golden age thā tō in dēvtāō̃ kā rājya thā .
101When Bharat was golden aged, it was a kingdom of deities.
96Kahtē haĩ ham kaisē samajhē̃ ki inkā rājya thā ?
102People ask you: “How can we believe that it was their kingdom?”
97Yah knowledge baṛī wonderful hai .
103This knowledge is so wonderful.
98Jiskī takdīr mē̃ jō hai , jō jitnā purūṣhārth kartē haĩ vah dēkhnē mē̃ tō ātā hai .
104Whatever is in each one’s fortune and whatever effort each of you makes is clearly visible.
99Tum activity sē jāntē hō , haĩ tō kaliyugī bhī manuṣhya , tō satyugī bhī manuṣhya .
105You can tell from their activity. 106After all, you are human beings, both in the golden age and in the iron age.
100Phir unhō̃ kē āgē māthā jākar kyō̃ ṭēktē hō ?
107So, why do people go and bow their heads in front of those idols?
101Inhō̃ kō svarg kā mālik kahtē haĩ nā .
108They are called the masters of heaven.
102Kōī martā hai tō kahtē haĩ phalānā svargvāsī huā , yah bhī nahī̃ samajhtē .
109When someone dies, they say that so-and-so has become a resident of heaven. 110They don’t even understand that.
103Is samay tō narkvāsī sab haĩ .
111At this time, all are residents of hell.
104Jarūr punarjanma bhī yahā̃ hī lē̃gē .
112Everyone will surely take rebirth here.
105Bābā har ēk key|kī chalan sē dēkhtē rahtē haĩ .
113Baba continues to observe everyone’s behaviour.
106Bābā kō kitnā sādhāraṇ rīti sē kis-kis sē bāt karnī paṛtī hai .
114Baba has to talk in such an ordinary way to some of you.
107Sambhālnā paṛtā hai .
115He has to look after you.
108Bāp kitnā clear kar samjhātē haĩ .
116The Father explains everything very clearly.
109Samajhtē bhī haĩ tō bāt baṛī ṭhīk hai . 110Phir bhī kyō̃ baṛē-baṛē kāṇṭē ban jātē haĩ .
117You understand that this is correct, so why do you still become big thorns?
111Ēk-dō kō duḥkh dēnē sē kāṇṭē ban jātē haĩ .
118By causing sorrow for one another you become thorns.
112Ādat chhōṛtē hī nahī̃ .
119You do not let go of that habit.
113Abhī bāgvān bāp phūlō̃ kā bagīchā lagātē haĩ .
120The Father, the Gardener, is now planting a garden of flowers.
114Kāṇṭō̃ kō fool|phūl banātē rahtē haĩ .
121He continues to change you from thorns into flowers.
115Unkā dhandhā hī yah hai .
122This is His task.
116Jō khud hī kāṇṭā hōgā tō fool|phūl kaisē banāyēgā ?
123How could anyone who is a thorn change others into flowers?
117Pradarśhanī mē̃ bhī baṛī khabardārī sē kiskō bhējnā hōtā hai .
124You still have to be cautious about whom you send to the exhibitions.
118Achchhē guṇvān bachchē vah jō kāṇṭō̃ kō fool|phūl banānē key|kī achchhī sēvā kartē haĩ .
125Good and virtuous children are those who do the good service of changing thorns into flowers.
119Kisī kō bhī kāṇṭā nahī̃ lagātē haĩ arthāt kisī kō duḥkh nahī̃ dētē haĩ .
126They do not prick anyone like thorns do, that is, they do not cause sorrow for anyone.
120Kabhī bhī āpas mē̃ laṛtē nahī̃ haĩ .
127They never fight amongst themselves.
121Tum bachchē bahut accurate samjhātē hō .
128You children have to explain very accurately.
122Ismē̃ kisī key|kī insult key|kī tō bāt hī nahī̃ .
129There is no question of insulting anyone in this.
123Abhī śhiv jayantī bhī ātī hai . 124Tum pradarśhanī jāstī kartē rahō .
130Shiv Jayanti is now coming and so you should hold many exhibitions.
125Chhōṭī-chhōṭī pradarśhanī par bhī samjhā saktē hō . 126Ēk second mē̃ svargvāsī banō athavā patit bhraṣhṭāchārī sē pāvan śhrēṣhṭhāchārī banō .
131You can also hold small exhibitions and explain: “Become residents of heaven in a second, that is, from being impure, corrupt ones, become pure and elevated.
127Ēk second mē̃ jīvanmukti prāpt karō .
132Attain liberation-in-life in a second.”
128Jīvanmukti kā bhī arth|earth samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .
133They don’t even understand the meaning of liberation-in-life.
129Tum bhī abhī samajhtē hō .
134It is now that you also understand.
130Bāp dvārā sabkō mukti jīvanmukti miltī hai .
135Everyone receives liberation and liberation-in-life from the Father.
131Parantu drama kō bhī jānnā hai .
136However, you also have to understand the drama.
132Sab dharm svarg mē̃ nahī̃ āyēṅgē .
137Those in other religions will not go to heaven.
133Vah phir apnē-apnē section mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .
138Everyone will return to their own section.
134Phir apnē-apnē samay par ākar sthāpanā karē̃gē .
139Then, they will come down at their own times to establish their religions.
135Jhāṛ mē̃ kitnā clear hai .
140This is clearly shown in the picture of the tree.
136Ēk sadgurū K|kē sivāē sadgati dātā aur kōī hō nahī̃ saktā .
141No one, other than the one Satguru, can grant salvation to all.
137Bākī bhakti sikhlānē vālē tō ḍhēr gurū haĩ .
142However, there are many gurus who can teach you devotion.
138Sadgati kē liē manuṣhya gurū hō nahī̃ saktā .
143No human guru can grant salvation.
139Parantu samjhānē kā bhī akla chāhiē , ismē̃ buddhi sē kām lēnā hōtā hai .
144You simply need the wisdom to explain. 145You have to use your intellects in this.
140Drama kā kaisā wonderful khēl hai .
146This drama is performed so wonderfully.
141Tumhārē mē̃ bhī bahut thōṛē haĩ jō is naśhē mē̃ rahtē haĩ .
147There are very few of you who remain intoxicated by this.
142Achchhā !
148Achcha.
143Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .
149To you sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.
144Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .
150The spiritual Father says namaste to you spiritual children.
145Rātri class 18-3-68
151Night class – 18/03/1968
146Tumkō vāstav mē̃ śhāstrō̃ par vād-vivād karnē key|kī kōī darkār nahī̃ hai .
152In fact, you do not need to debate about the scriptures.
147Mūl bāt hai hī yād kī , aur sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi madhya ant kō samajhnā hai .
153The main aspect is remembrance and to understand the beginning, the middle and end of the world.
148Chakravartī rājā bannā hai .
154You have to become rulers of the globe.
149Is chakra kō hī sirph samajhnā hai , inkā hī gāyan hai second mē̃ jīvanmukti .
155You simply have to understand this cycle. 156It is remembered of this time, that you receive liberation-in-life in a second.
150Tum bachchō̃ kō wonder lagtā hōgā ādhākalp bhakti chaltī hai . 151Gyān riñchak nahī̃ .
157It must be a wonder for you children that devotion lasts for half a cycle and that there isn’t the slightest bit of this knowledge.
152Gyān hai hī bāp kē pās .
158Only the Father has this knowledge.
153Bāp dvārā hī jānnā hai .
159You have to know it from the Father.
154Yah bāp kitnā uncommon hai isliē kōṭō̃ mē̃ kōī nikaltē haĩ .
160This Father is so uncommon and this is why only a handful out of multimillions emerge.
155Vah teachers aisē thōṛēhī kahē̃gē .
