Murli

8Ōm śhānti .

11Om shanti.

9Ōm kā arth|earth hī hai aham , maĩ ātmā .

12The meaning of “om” is: I am a soul.

10Manuṣhya phir samajhtē ōm mānā bhagvān , parantu aisē hai nahī̃ .

13People believe that “om” means God, but that is not right.

11Ōm mānā maĩ ātmā , mērā yah śharīr hai .

14“Om” means: I am a soul and this is my body.

12Kahtē haĩ nā - ōm śhānti .

15People say, "Om shanti".

13Aham ātmā kā svadharm hai śhānt .

16The original religion of myself, this soul, is peace.

14Ātmā apnā parichay dētī hai .

17The soul gives his own introduction.

15Manuṣhya bhal ōm śhānti kahtē haĩ parantu ōm kā arth|earth kōī bhī nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ .

18Although people say “Om shanti”, they do not understand the meaning of “Om” at all.

16Ōm śhānti akṣhar achchhā hai .

19The words "Om shanti" are very good.

17Ham ātmā haĩ , hamārā svadharm śhānt hai .

20“I am a soul and my original religion is peace.

18Ham ātmā śhāntidhām key|kī rahnē vālī haĩ .

21I, a soul, am a resident of the land of peace.”

19Kitnā simple arth|earth hai .

22The meaning is so simple.

20Lambā-chauṛā kōī gapōṛā nahī̃ hai .

23It is not a long and false explanation.

21Is samay K|kē manuṣhya mātra tō yah bhī nahī̃ jāntē ki abhī naī duniyā hai vā purānī duniyā hai .

24People of today don’t even know whether the world is new or old.

22Naī duniyā phir purānī kab hōtī hai , purānī sē phir naī duniyā kab hōtī hai - yah kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē .

25No one knows when the new world becomes old or when the old world becomes new again.

23Kōī sē bhī pūchhā jāē duniyā naī kab hōtī hai aur phir purānī kaisē hōtī hai  ? 24Tō kōī bhī batā nahī̃ sakē̃gē .

26When you ask anyone when the old world becomes new and how it then becomes old, no one is able to tell you.

25Abhī tō kaliyug purānī duniyā hai .

27It is now this iron-aged, old world.

26Naī duniyā satyug kō kahā jātā hai .

28That new world is called the golden age.

27Achchhā , naī kō phir purānā hōnē mē̃ kitnē varṣh lagtē haĩ  ?

29How many years does it take for the new world to become old?

28Yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

30No one knows this.

29Manuṣhya hōkar yah nahī̃ jāntē isliē inkō kahā jātā hai jānvar sē bhī badtar .

31Even though they are human beings, they do not know this. 32Therefore, human beings are said to be worse than animals.

30Jānvar tō apnē kō kuchh kahtē nahī̃ , manuṣhya kahtē haĩ ham patit haĩ , hē patit-pāvan āō . 31Parantu unkō jāntē bilkul hī nahī̃ .

33At least animals don’t say anything about themselves. 34However, human beings say: “We are impure.” 35They call out: “O Purifier come!”, but they don’t know who He is.

32Pāvan akṣhar kitnā achchhā hai .

36The word “pure” is so good.

33Pāvan duniyā svarg naī duniyā hī hōgī .

37Only a pure world, heaven, would be a new world.

34Chitra bhī dēvtāō̃ K|kē haĩ parantu kōī bhī samajhtē nahī̃ , yah lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ naī pāvan duniyā K|kē mālik haĩ .

38There are images of those deities but no one knows that Lakshmi and Narayan are the masters of that new, pure world.

35Yah sab bātē̃ bēhad kā bāp hī baiṭh bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ .

39Only the unlimited Father sits here and explains all of these things to you children.

36Naī duniyā svarg kō kahā jātā hai . 37Dēvtāō̃ kō kahē̃gē svargvāsī .

40The new world is called heaven and the deities are said to be the residents of heaven.

38Abhī tō hai purānī duniyā nark .

41At present, this old world is hell.

39Yahā̃ manuṣhya haĩ narkvāsī .

42People here are residents of hell.

40Kōī martā hai tō bhī kahtē haĩ svargvāsī huā tō gōyā yahā̃ narkvāsī hai nā .

43When someone dies, people say that he has gone to live in heaven. 44Therefore, this means that they are living in hell.

41Hisāb sē kah bhī dēgē . 42Barōbar yah nark ṭhaharā|ṭhahrā parantu bōlō tum narkvāsī hō tō bigaṛ paṛē̃gē .

45According to their own understanding, this really is hell. 46However, if you told them directly that they are residents of hell, they would get upset with you.

43Bāp samjhātē haĩ dēkhnē mē̃ tō bhal manuṣhya haĩ , sūrat manuṣhya kī hai parantu sīrat bandar jaisī hai .

47The Father explains: Although they look like human beings and their faces are like those of human beings, their characters are like those of monkeys.

44Yah bhī gāyā huā hai nā .

48This too has been remembered.

45Khud bhī mandirō̃ mē̃ jākar dēvtāō̃ kē āgē gātē haĩ - āp sarvguṇ sampann … apnē liē kyā kahē̃gē  ?

49They themselves go in front of the deity idols in the temples and say: “You are full of all virtues.” 50However, what do they say of themselves?

46Ham pāpī nīch haĩ . 47Parantu sīdhā kahō ki tum vikārī hō tō bigaṛ paṛē̃gē isliē bāp sirph bachchō̃ sē hī bāt kartē haĩ , samjhātē haĩ .

51That they are degraded sinners, but if you told them directly that they are vicious, they would get upset with you. 52This is why the Father only talks and explains to you children.

48Bāhar vālō̃ sē bāt nahī̃ kartē kyōṅki kaliyugī manuṣhya haĩ narkvāsī .

53He doesn’t go to talk to people outside because iron-aged people are residents of hell.

49Abhī tum hō saṅgamyug vāsī .

54You are now residents of the confluence age.

50Tum pavitra ban rahē hō .

55You are becoming pure.

51Jāntē hō ham brāhmaṇō̃ kō śhivbābā paṛhātē haĩ .

56You understand that it is Shiv Baba who is teaching us Brahmins.

52Vah patit-pāvan hai .

57He is the Purifier.

53Ham sabhī ātmāō̃ kō lē jānē kē liē bāp āyē haĩ .

58The Father has come to take us souls back home.

54Kitnī simple bātē̃ haĩ .

59This is such a simple matter.

55Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchē , tum ātmāyē̃ śhāntidhām sē ātī hō part bajānē .

60The Father says: Children, you souls came from the land of peace to play your parts.

56Is duḥkhdhām mē̃ sabhī duḥkhī haĩ isliē kahtē haĩ man kō śhānti kaisē hō  ?

61Everyone is unhappy in this land of sorrow and this is why they ask for peace of mind.

57Aisē nahī̃ kahtē - ātmā kō śhānti kaisē hō  ?

62They don’t ask how their souls can become peaceful.

58Arē tum kahtē hō nā ōm śhānti .

63You say: “Om shanti.

59Mērā svadharm hai śhānti .

64My original religion is peace.”

60Phir śhānti māṅgtē kyō̃ hō  ?

65So, why do you ask for peace?

61Apnē kō ātmā bhūl dēh-abhimān mē̃ ā jātē hō .

66Because you forgot that you yourselves are souls and that you have been body conscious.

62Ātmāyē̃ tō śhāntidhām key|kī rahnē vālī haĩ . 63Yahā̃ phir śhānti kahā̃ sē milēgī  ?

67Souls reside in the land of peace, so how can there be peace here?

64Aśharīrī hōnē sē hī śhānti hōgī .

68It is only when you become bodiless that you can have peace.

65Śharīr kē sāth ātmā hai , tō unkō bōlnā chalnā tō jarūr paṛtā hai .

69Each soul here is combined with a body and so they all definitely have to talk and walk.

66Ham ātmā śhāntidhām sē yahā̃ part bajānē āī haĩ .

70I, this soul, came from the land of peace to play a part.

67Yah bhī kōī nahī̃ samajhtē ki rāvaṇ hī hamārā duśhman hai .

71No one understands that Ravan is the enemy.

68Kab sē yah rāvaṇ duśhman banā hai  ?

72When was it that Ravan became your enemy?

69Yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

73None of them knows this.

70Baṛē-baṛē vidvān , paṇḍit ādi ēk bhī nahī̃ jāntē ki rāvaṇ hai kaun , jiskā ham effigy banākar jalātē haĩ .

74Not a single scholar or pundit etc. knows who Ravan is; they don’t know the one whose effigy they burn.

71Janma-janmāntar jalātē āyē haĩ , kuchh bhī patā nahī̃ .

75They have been burning it for many births and yet they don’t know anything.

72Kōī sē bhī pūchhō - rāvaṇ kaun hai  ? 73Kah dēgē yah sab tō kalpanā hai .

76If you ask any of them who Ravan is, they would say: It’s just imagination!

74Jāntē hī nahī̃ tō aur kyā respond dēgē .

77They don’t know anything, and so what response could they give?

75Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ bhī hai nā - hē rām jī saṅsār banā hī nahī̃ hai . 76Yah sab kalpanā hai .

78It is mentioned in a scripture: “Hey Rama, this world was not created; it is all imagination.”

77Aisē bahut kahtē haĩ .

79Many say this.

78Ab kalpanā kā arth|earth kyā hai  ?

80Now, what is the meaning of imagination?

79Kahtē haĩ yah saṅkalpō̃ key|kī duniyā hai .

81It is said that this is a world of imagination.

80Jō jaisā saṅkalp kartā hai vah hō jātā hai , arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē .

82Whatever thoughts people have, that happens. 83They do not understand the meaning of them.

81Bāp bachchō̃ kō baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

84The Father sits here and explains to you children.

82Kōī tō achchhī rīti samajh jātē haĩ , kōī samajhtē hī nahī̃ haĩ .

85Some of you understand very clearly, whereas others do not understand anything at all.

83Jō achchhī rīti samajhtē haĩ unkō sagē kahē̃gē aur jō nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ vah lagē arthāt sautēlē huē .

86Those who understand clearly are real children, whereas those who understand nothing at all are stepchildren.

84Ab sautēlē vāris thōṛēhī banē̃gē .

87Stepchildren never become heirs.

85Bābā kē pās mātēlē bhī haĩ tō sautēlē bhī haĩ .

88Baba has real children and stepchildren.

86Mātēlē bachchē tō bāp key|kī śhrīmat par pūrā chaltē haĩ . 87Sautēlē nahī̃ chalē̃gē .

89Real children are those who follow the Father's shrimat completely, whereas stepchildren do not.

88Bāp kah dētē haĩ yah mērī mat par nahī̃ chaltē haĩ , rāvaṇ key|kī mat par haĩ .

90The Father then says: This one is not following My directions; he is following Ravan's directions.

89Rām aur rāvaṇ dō akṣhar haĩ .

91There are the two words: Rama and Ravan.

90Rām rājya aur rāvaṇ rājya .

92There is the kingdom of Rama, whereas this is the kingdom of Ravan.

91Abhī hai saṅgam .

93It is now the confluence of the two.

92Bāp samjhātē haĩ - yah sab brahmākumār-brahmākumāriyā̃ śhivbābā sē varsā lē rahē haĩ , tum lē̃gē  ?

94The Father explains to them. 95All of these Brahma Kumars and Kumaris are claiming their inheritance from Shiv Baba. 96Do you too want to claim it?

93Śhrīmat par chalē̃gē  ?

97Will you follow these elevated directions?

94Tō kahtē haĩ kaun-sī mat  ?

98They ask: “Whose directions?”

95Bāp śhrīmat dētē haĩ ki pavitra banō .

99The Father gives you shrimat for you to become pure.

96Kahtē haĩ ham pavitra rahē̃ phir pati na mānē tō maĩ kiskī mānū̃  ?

100They then say: “I will stay pure, but if my husband doesn’t accept this, to whom should I listen?

97Vah tō hamārā pati parameśhvar hai kyōṅki bhārat mē̃ yah sikhlāyā jātā hai ki pati tumhārā gurū , īśhvar ādi sab kuchh hai .

101My husband is my god.” 102In Bharat they are told that their husband is their guru, their god, their everything.

98Parantu aisā kōī samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .

103However, no one really believes it.

99Us samay hā̃ kar dētē haĩ , māntē kuchh bhī nahī̃ haĩ .

104They simply say “Yes” at that time but they don’t accept it at all.

100Phir bhī gurūō̃ kē pās mandirō̃ mē̃ jātē rahtē haĩ .

105They still continue to go to their gurus and to the temples.

101Pati kahtē haĩ tum bāhar mat jāō , ham rām key|kī mūrti tumkō ghar mē̃ rakhkar dētē haĩ phir tum ayōdhyā ādi mē̃ kyō̃ bhaṭaktī hō  ?

106The husband says: “Don’t go out! 107I will give you an image of Rama and you can keep that and worship it at home. 108Why do you wander to Ayodhya (Rama's birthplace)?”

102Tō māntī nahī̃ . 103Yah haĩ bhakti mārg K|kē dhakkē .

109She wouldn’t listen to anything; it is the stumbling of the path of devotion.

104Vah jarūr khāyēṅgē , kabhī mānē̃gē nahī̃ . 105Samajhtē haĩ vah tō unkā mandir hai .

110She will definitely continue to stumble along there; she won’t listen to anyone, because she believes that the temple there is Rama’s.

106Arē tumkō yād rām kō karnā hai ki mandir kō  ?

111However, who is it that you have to remember? 112Is it Rama or his temple?

107Parantu samajhtē nahī̃ .

113They don't understand anything.

108Tō bāp samjhātē haĩ bhakti mārg mē̃ kahtē bhī hō hē bhagvān ākar hamārī sadgati karō kyōṅki vah ēk hī sarv kā sadgati dātā hai .

114Therefore, the Father explains: On the path of devotion you call out to God, “Come and grant us salvation!”, because only He is the Bestower of Salvation for all.

109Achchhā vah kab ātē haĩ - yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē .

115Achcha, when does He come? 116No one knows this.

110Bāp samjhātē haĩ rāvaṇ hī tumhārā duśhman hai .

117The Father explains that Ravan is your enemy.

111Rāvaṇ kā tō wonder hai , jō jalātē hī ātē haĩ lēkin martā hī nahī̃ hai .

118The wonder of Ravan is that, although people continue to burn effigies of him, he never dies.

112Rāvaṇ kyā chīz hai , yah kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē .

119No one knows what Ravan is.

113Abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō hamkō bēhad K|kē bāp sē varsā miltā hai .

120You children now know that you receive your inheritance from the unlimited Father.

114Śhiv jayantī bhī manātē haĩ parantu śhiv kō kōī bhī jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .

121They celebrate Shiv Jayanti but they do not know who Shiv is.

115Government kō bhī tum samjhātē hō . 116Śhiv tō bhagvān hai vahī kalp-kalp ākar bhārat kō narkvāsī sē svargvāsī , beggar sē prince banātē haĩ .

122You explain to the people of the Government that Shiv is God and that He comes in this one age every cycle and changes Bharat from hell into heaven. 123He changes beggars into princes.

117Patit kō pāvan banātē haĩ .

124He purifies the impure.

118Vahī sarv K|kē sadgati dātā haĩ .

125He is the Bestower of Salvation for all.

119Is samay sabhī manuṣhya mātra yahā̃ haĩ .

126All human beings are now here.

120Christ key|kī ātmā bhī kōī na kōī janm mē̃ yahā̃ hai .

127Even the soul of Christ is here in some form.

121Vāpis kōī bhī jā nahī̃ saktē .

128No one can return home yet.

122In sabkī sadgati karnē vālā ēk hī baṛā bāp hai . 123Vah ātē bhī bhārat mē̃ haĩ .

129Only the one great Father can grant salvation to everyone, and He only comes in Bharat.

124Vāstav mē̃ bhakti bhī unkī karnī chāhiē jō sadgati dētē haĩ .

130In fact, you should only perform devotion of the One who grants salvation.

125Vah nirākār bāp yahā̃ tō hai nahī̃ .

131That incorporeal Father doesn’t reside here.

126Unkō hamēśhā ūpar samajhkar yād kartē haĩ . 127Kr̥iṣhṇa kō ūpar nahī̃ samajhē̃gē .

132He is constantly considered to be and remembered as being up above, whereas no one considers Krishna to be up above.

128Aur sabhī kō yahā̃ nīchē yād karē̃gē . 129Kr̥iṣhṇa kō bhī yahā̃ yād karē̃gē .

133They remember Krishna and everyone else as being down here.

130Tum bachchō̃ kī hai yathārth yād .

134The remembrance of you children is accurate.

131Tum apnē kō is dēh sē nyārā , ātmā samajhkar bāp kō yād kartē hō .

135You consider yourselves to be distinct from your bodies. 136You consider yourselves to be souls and you remember the Father.

132Bāp kahtē haĩ tumkō kōī bhī dēh yād nahī̃ ānī chāhiē . 133Yah dhyān jarūrī hai .

137The Father says: You must not remember anyone's body. 138It is most essential to pay attention to this.

134Tum apnē kō ātmā samajh bāp kō yād karō .

139Simply consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father.

135Bābā hamkō sārē viśhva kā mālik banātē haĩ .

140Baba is making us into the masters of the whole world.

136Sārā samudra , sārī dharnī , sārē ākāśh kā mālik banātē haĩ .

141He makes us into the masters of the whole earth, sea and sky.

137Abhī tō kitnē ṭukṛē-ṭukṛē haĩ .

142It’s all now divided into bits and pieces.

138Ēk-dō key|kī had mē̃ ānē nahī̃ dētē .

143They don’t let you cross their borders.

139Vahā̃ yah bātē̃ hōtī nahī̃ .

144None of these things exist there.

140Bhagvān tō ēk bāp hī hai .

145Only God is the Father.

141Aisē nahī̃ ki sabhī bāp hī bāp haĩ .

146It isn't that everyone is the Father.

142Kahtē bhī haĩ hindū-chīnī bhāī-bhāī , hindū-muslim bhāī-bhāī parantu arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ .

147Although they say that the Hindus and the Chinese are brothers and that the Hindus and the Muslims are brothers, they don’t understand the meaning of that.

143Aisē kabhī nahī̃ kahē̃gē hindū-muslim bahan-bhāī .

148They never say that the Hindus and the Muslims are brothers and sisters; no.

144Nahī̃ , ātmāyē̃ āpas mē̃ sab bhāī haĩ .

149All souls are brothers, but they don’t understand that.

145Parantu is bāt kō jāntē nahī̃ haĩ . 146Śhāstra ādi suntē sat-sat kartē rahtē haĩ , arth|earth kuchh nahī̃ .

150When they listen to the scriptures, etc., they simply say, "It's true, it's true", but they don't understand the meaning of them.

147Vāstav mē̃ hai asatya , jhūṭh .

151In fact, they all are false.

148Sachkhaṇḍ mē̃ sach hī sach bōltē haĩ . 149Yahā̃ jhūṭh hī jhūṭh hai .

152In the land of truth, they only speak the truth, whereas here, there is nothing but falsehood.

150Kōī kō bōlō ki tumnē jhūṭh bōlā tō bigaṛ paṛē̃gē .

153If you said to any of them that they were telling lies, they would get upset with you.

151Tum sach batātē hō tō bhī kōī tō gālī dēnē lag paṛē̃gē .

154Even though you spoke the truth, some people would start insulting you.

152Ab bāp kō tō tum brāhmaṇ hī jāntē hō .

155Only you Brahmins now know the Father.

153Tum bachchē abhī daivīguṇ dhāraṇ kartē hō .

156You children are now imbibing divine virtues.

154Tum jāntē hō abhī 5 tatva bhī tamōpradhān haĩ .

157You know that even the five elements are now totally impure.

155Ājkal manuṣhya bhūtō̃ key|kī pūjā bhī kartē haĩ .

158Nowadays, people even worship the devil spirit a lot.

156Bhūtō̃ key|kī hī yād rahtī hai .

159They continue to remember the evil spirit.

157Bāp kahtē haĩ apnē kō ātmā samajh māmēkam yād karō .

160The Father says: Consider yourselves to be souls and constantly remember Me alone.

158Bhūtō̃ kō mat yād karō .

161Do not remember the devil spirit.

220Ēkāntvāsī kā double arth|earth hai .
