Murli

8Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

9Yah kaun kahtē haĩ  ?

10Who says this?

10Bachchō̃ kō bāp hī kahtē haĩ , sab bachchō̃ kō kahnā hōtā hai kyōṅki sab duḥkhī haĩ , adhīrya haĩ .

11It is only the Father who says it to the children. 12He has to say it to all the children because all of them are unhappy and impatient.

11Bāp kō yād kartē haĩ ki ākar duḥkh sē liberate karō , sukh kā rāstā batāō .

13They remember the Father and say: “Come and liberate us from sorrow and show us the path to happiness.”

12Ab manuṣhyō̃ kō , usmē̃ bhī khās bhāratvāsiyō̃ kō yah yād nahī̃ hai ki ham bhāratvāsī bahut sukhī thē .

14Human beings, especially the people of Bharat, do not remember that they were very happy.

13Bhārat prāchīn sē prāchīn wonderful land thā .

15Bharat was a most ancient, wonderful land.

14Wonder of|off dī|the world kahtē haĩ nā .

16People speak of the wonders of the world.

15Yahā̃ māyā K|kē rājya mē̃ 7 wonders gāyē jātē haĩ .

17Here, in the kingdom of Ravan, they speak of the seven wonders.

16Vah haĩ sthūl wonders .

18Those are physical wonders.

17Bāp samjhātē haĩ yah māyā K|kē wonders haĩ , jismē̃ duḥkh hai .

19The Father explains that they are the wonders of Maya through which there is sorrow.

18Rām , bāp kā wonder hai svarg .

20The wonder of Rama, of the Father, is heaven.

19Vahī wonder of world hai .

21That is the wonder of the world.

20Bhārat svarg thā , hīrē jaisā thā .

22Bharat was heaven and it was like diamonds.

21Vahā̃ dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kā rājya thā .

23It was the kingdom of the deities.

22Yah bhāratvāsī sab bhūl gayē haĩ .

24The people of Bharat have forgotten all of this.

23Bhal dēvtāō̃ kē āgē māthā ṭēktē haĩ , pūjā kartē haĩ parantu jinkī pūjā kartē haĩ , unhō̃ key|kī biography kō jānnā chāhiē nā .

25They bow their heads in front of the deity idols and worship them, but they should at least know the biographies of those they worship.

24Yah bēhad kā bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ , yahā̃ tum āyē hō pārlaukik bāp kē pās .

26The unlimited Father sits here and explains that you have come here to the parlokik Father.

25Pārlaukik bāp hai svarg sthāpan karnē vālā .

27The parlokik Father is the One who establishes heaven.

26Yah kārya kōī manuṣhya nahī̃ kar saktē , inkō ( brahmā kō ) bhī bāp kahtē haĩ - hē śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa key|kī ātmā tum apnē janmō̃ kō nahī̃ jāntī hō .

28No human being can carry out this task. 29The Father says to this one (Brahma): Hey, old tamopradhan soul of Shri Krishna, you do not know of your own births.

27Tum śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa thē tō satōpradhān thē phir 84 janm lētē abhī tum tamōpradhān banē hō , bhinn-bhinn nām tumhārē paṛē haĩ .

30When you were Shri Krishna, you were satopradhan. 31Now, having taken 84 births, you have become tamopradhan. 32You have had many different names.

28Abhī tumhārā nām brahmā rakhā hai .

33You have now been given the name Brahma.

29Brahmā sō viṣhṇu vā śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa banēgā . 30Bāt ēk hī hai - brahmā sō viṣhṇu , viṣhṇu sō brahmā .

34Brahma becomes Vishnu, that is, Shri Krishna; it is the same thing. 35Brahma becomes Vishnu and Vishnu becomes Brahma.

31Brahmā mukh vaṅśhāvalī brāhmaṇ sō phir dēvtā bantē haĩ .

36Brahmins, the mouth-born children of Brahma, then become deities.

32Phir vahī dēvī-dēvtā phir śhūdra bantē haĩ .

37Those deities then become shudras.

33Abhī tum brāhmaṇ banē hō .

38You have now become Brahmins.

34Abhī bāp baiṭh tum bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ , yah hai bhagvānuvāch .

39The Father now sits here and explains to you children that these are the versions of God.

35Tum tō hō gayē student .

40You are students.

36Tō tumkō kitnī khuśhī hōnī chāhiē .

41Therefore, you should have so much happiness.

37Parantu itnī khuśhī rahtī nahī̃ hai .

42However, there isn't that much happiness.

38Dhanvān dhan K|kē naśhē mē̃ bahut khuśh rahtē haĩ nā .

43Wealthy people remain very happy with the intoxication of their wealth.

39Yahā̃ bhagvān K|kē bachchē banē hō tō bhī itnā khuśhī mē̃ nahī̃ rahtē .

44Here, although you have become God's children, you don’t have that much happiness.

40Samajhtē nahī̃ , pattharbuddhi haĩ nā .

45They do not understand that they are the ones with stone intellects.

41Takdīr mē̃ nahī̃ hai tō gyān key|kī dhārṇā kar nahī̃ saktē .

46If it is not in their fortune, they are unable to imbibe this knowledge.

42Ab tumkō bāp mandir lāyak banā rahē haĩ . 43Parantu māyā kā saṅg bhī cum|kam nahī̃ hai .

47The Father is now making you worthy of being in a temple, but the company of Maya is no less.

44Gāyā huā hai saṅg tārē , kusaṅg bōrē .

48It is sung that good company takes you across and bad company drowns you.

45Bāp kā saṅg tumkō mukti-jīvanmukti mē̃ lē jātā hai phir rāvaṇ kā kusaṅg tumkō durgati mē̃ lē jātā haĩ .

49The Father's company takes you into liberation and liberation-in-life and then the bad company of Ravan takes you into degradation.

465 vikārō̃ kā saṅg hō jātā hai nā .

50There is the company of the five vices.

47Bhakti mē̃ nām kahtē haĩ satsaṅg parantu sīṛhī tō nīchē utartē rahtē haĩ , sīṛhī sē kōī dhakkā khāyēgā tō jarūr nīchē hī girēgā nā  !

51On the path of devotion, they call it the company of the truth (satsang), but they continue to come down the ladder. 52If someone on a ladder stumbles, he would definitely fall.

48Sarv kā sadgati dātā ēk bāp hī hai .

53Only the Father is the Bestower of Salvation for All.

49Kōī bhī hōṅgē bhagvān kā iśhārā ūpar mē̃ karē̃gē .

54No matter who it is, he will point upwards to God.

50Ab bāp bigar bachchō̃ kō parichay kaun dē  ?

55Now, who, apart from the Father, could give His introduction to the children?

51Bāp hī bachchō̃ kō apnā parichay dētē haĩ .

56Only the Father Himself gives His introduction to the children.

52Unkō apnā banāē sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi , madhya , ant kā knowledge dētē haĩ .

57He makes them belong to Him and gives them this knowledge of the beginning, the middle and the end of the world.

53Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ ākar tumkō āstik bhī banātā hū̃ , trikāldarśhī bhī banātā hū̃ .

58The Father says: I come and make you into theists and I also make you trikaldarshi.

54Yah drama hai , yah kōī sādhū-santa ādi nahī̃ jāntē .

59This is in the drama. 60Sages and holy men, etc. do not know this.

55Vah hōtē haĩ had K|kē drama , yah hai bēhad kā .

61Other dramas are limited whereas this drama is unlimited.

56Is bēhad K|kē drama mē̃ ham sukh bhī bahut dēkhtē haĩ tō duḥkh bhī bahut dēkhtē haĩ .

62In this unlimited drama, we see a lot of happiness and we also see a lot of sorrow.

57Is drama mē̃ kr̥iṣhṇa aur kriściyan kā bhī kaisā hisāb-kitāb hai .

63Just look at what the account between Krishna and the Christians is like in this drama.

58Unhōnnē bhārat kō laṛāē rājāī lī .

64They fought and took the kingdom of Bharat.

59Abhī tum laṛtē nahī̃ hō .

65However, you do not fight.

60Vah āpas mē̃ laṛtē haĩ , rājāī tumkō mil jātī hai .

66They fight amongst themselves and you take the kingdom.

61Yah drama mē̃ nūndh hai .

67This is fixed in the drama.

62Yah bātē̃ kōī bhī jāntē nahī̃ haĩ .

68No one knows these things.

63Gyān dēnē vālā gyān kā sāgar ēk hī bāp hai , jō sarv key|kī sadgati kartē haĩ .

69Only the one Father, the Ocean of this Knowledge, gives you knowledge. 70He grants salvation to all.

64Bhārat mē̃ dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kā rājya thā tō sadgati thī .

71When there was the kingdom of deities in Bharat, you had salvation.

65Bākī sab ātmāyē̃ muktidhām mē̃ thī .

72All the other souls were in the land of liberation.

66Bhārat sōnē kā thā .

73Bharat was golden.

67Tum hī rājya kartē thē .

74You used to rule there.

68Satyug mē̃ sūryavanśhī rājya thā .

75The golden age was the sun-dynasty kingdom.

69Abhī tum satya nārāyaṇ kī kathā suntē hō .

76You are now listening to the story of true Narayan.

70Nar sē nārāyaṇ bannē key|kī yah kathā hai .

77This is the story of changing from an ordinary human into Narayan.

71Yah bhī baṛē akṣharō̃ mē̃ likh dō - sachchī gītā sē bhārat sachkhaṇḍ , worth pound bantā hai .

78Write this in big letters: “Through the true Gita, Bharat becomes the land of truth, worth a pound.

72Bāp ākar sachchī gītā sunātē haĩ .

79The Father comes and speaks the true Gita.

73Sahaj rājyōg sikhlātē haĩ tō worth pound ban jātē haĩ .

80He teaches you easy Raja Yoga and you become worth a pound.”

74Bābā ṭōṭkē tō bahut samjhātē haĩ , parantu bachchē dēh-abhimān K|kē kāraṇ bhūl jātē haĩ .

81Baba explains many such short stories but, because of their body consciousness, some children forget these.

75Dēhī-abhimānī banē̃ tō dhārṇā bhī hō .

82When they become soul conscious, they can also imbibe this knowledge.

76Dēh-abhimān K|kē kāraṇ dhārṇā hōtī nahī̃ .

83Because of being body conscious, they are not able to imbibe it.

77Bāp samjhātē haĩ maĩ thōṛēhī kahtā hū̃ ki maĩ sarvavyāpī hū̃ .

84The Father now explains: I don’t say that I am omnipresent.

78Mujhē tō kahtē bhī hō tum māt-pitā . . . tō iskā arth|earth kyā  ?

85You call Me the Mother and Father. 86What does that mean?

79Tumharī kr̥ipā sē sukh ghanērē .

87You sing: “Through Your mercy, we receive a lot of happiness”.

80Abhī tō duḥkh hai .

88However, there is sorrow now.

81Yah gāyan kis samay kā hai - yah bhī samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ .

89What time does this praise belong to? 90They do not even understand this.

82Jaisē pakṣhī chū̃-chū̃ kartē rahtē haĩ , arth|earth kuchh nahī̃ . 83Vaisē yah bhī chū̃-chū̃ kartē rahtē , arth|earth kuchh nahī̃ .

91Just as birds chirp without understanding anything, so they too continue to chirp without understanding anything.

84Bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ , yah sab hai unrighteous .

92The Father sits here and explains: All of that is unrighteous.

85Kisnē unrighteous banāyā hai  ?

93Who made you unrighteous?

86Rāvaṇ nē .

94Ravan.

87Bhārat sachkhaṇḍ thā tō sab sach bōltē thē , chōrī ṭhagī ādi kuchh bhī nahī̃ thā .

95When Bharat was a land of truth, everyone spoke the truth. 96There was no stealing or cheating, etc.

88Yahā̃ kitnī chōrī ādi kartē haĩ .

97Here, there is so much stealing, etc.

89Duniyā mē̃ tō ṭhagī hī ṭhagī hai .

98There is cheating and only cheating throughout the whole world.

90Iskō kahā hī jātā hai - pāp key|kī duniyā , duḥkh key|kī duniyā .

99This world is called a world of sin, a world of sorrow.

91Satyug kō kahā jātā hai sukh key|kī duniyā .

100The golden age is called a world of happiness.

92Yah hai vicious , vēśhyālay , satyug hai śhivālay .

101This is a vicious brothel. 102The golden age is the Temple of Shiva.

93Bāp kitnā achchhī rīti baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .

103The Father sits here and explains to you so clearly.

94Nām bhī kitnā achchhā hai - brahmākumārī īśhvarīy viśhv-vidyālay .

104The name is very good: Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.

95Ab bāp ākar samajhdār banātē haĩ .

105The Father now comes and makes you sensible.

96Kahtē haĩ in vikārō̃ kō jītō tō tum jagat jīt banē̃gē .

106He says: Conquer these vices and you will become the conquerors of the world.

97Yah kām hī mahāśhatru hai .

107Lust is your greatest enemy.

98Bachchē bulātē bhī isliē haĩ ki hamkō ākar god-goddess ( dēvī dēvtā ) banāō .

108This is why children call out: “Come and make us into gods and goddesses.”

99Bāp key|kī yathārth mahimā tum bachchē hī jāntē hō .

109Only you children know the Father's accurate praise.

100Manuṣhya tō na bāp kō jāntē , na bāp key|kī mahimā kō jāntē haĩ .

110People neither know the Father nor His praise.

101Tum jāntē hō vah pyār kā sāgar hai .

111You know that He is the Ocean of Love.

102Bāp tum bachchō̃ kō itnā gyān sunātē haĩ , yahī unkā pyār hai .

112The Father narrates all of this knowledge to you children; this is His love for you.

103Teacher student kō paṛhātē haĩ tō student kyā sē kyā ban jātē haĩ .

113A teacher teaches students and the students thereby become great from nothing.

104Tum bachchō̃ kō bhī bāp jaisā pyār kā sāgar bannā hai , pyār sē kōī kō bhī samjhānā hai .

114You children also have to become oceans of love like the Father. 115You have to explain to everyone with a lot of love.

105Bāp kahtē haĩ tum bhī ēk-dō kō pyār karō .

116The Father says: You must have love for one another.

106Number one pyār hai - bāp kā parichay dō .

119You should not have any dislike for one another.

109Nahī̃ tō tumkō bhī ḍanḍē khānē paṛē̃gē .

110Kisī kā tiraskār karē̃gē tō ḍanḍē khāyēṅgē .

121If you reject anyone, you will be punished.

111Kabhī bhī kisī sē naphrat nahī̃ rakhō , tiraskār nahī̃ karō .

122Never have hatred for anyone. 123Never reject anyone.

112Dēh-abhimān mē̃ ānē sē hī patit banē hō .

124You became impure by becoming body conscious.

113Bāp dēhī-abhimānī banātē haĩ tō tum pāvan bantē hō .

125The Father makes you soul conscious and you thereby become pure.

114Sabkō yahī samjhāō ki ab 84 kā chakra pūrā huā hai .

115Jō sūryavanśhī mahārājā-mahārānī thē vahī phir 84 janm lētē utartē-utartē ab ākar paṭ paṛē haĩ .

127Those who were the sun-dynasty emperors and empresses have now taken 84 births; they have come down and fallen on the ground.”

116Ab bāp phir sē mahārājā-mahārānī banā rahē haĩ .

128The Father is now once again making you into emperors and empresses.

117Bāp sirph kahtē haĩ māmēkam yād karō tō pāvan ban jāyēṅgē .

129The Father simply says: Constantly remember Me alone and you will become pure.

118Tum bachchō̃ kō merciful ban sārā din service K|kē khyālāt chalānē chāhiē .

130You children have to become merciful and think about doing service throughout the day.

132Write them very brief letters.

121Bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō aur varsē kō yād karō .

133The Father says: Remember Me and remember your inheritance.

122Ēk śhivbābā key|kī hī mahimā hai .

134Only the one Shiv Baba is praised.

123Manuṣhyō̃ kō bāp key|kī mahimā kā bhī patā nahī̃ hai .

135People do not even know the praise of the Father.

124Hindī mē̃ bhī chiṭṭhī likh saktē hō .

146Nowadays, everyone is given the title “Shri”.

134Kahā̃ vah nirvikārī , kahā̃ yah vikārī - rāt-din kā fark hai .

147There is such a great contrast between those viceless people and these vicious people; there is the difference of day and night.

152Jaisē bāp kisī key|kī kamjōriyā̃ dil par nahī̃ rakhtē aisē vardānī bachchē bhī kisī key|kī kamjōrī dil mē̃ dhāraṇ nahī̃ kartē , vē|way harēk key|kī dil kō ārām dēnē vālē master dilārām hōtē haĩ isliē sāthī hō yā prajā sabhī unkā guṇgān kartē haĩ .

167Just as the Father never keeps anyone’s weaknesses in His heart, in the same way, the children who are bestowers of blessings never imbibe anyone’s weaknesses. 168They are master comforters of hearts who give comfort to each one’s heart. 169Therefore, whether they are companions or subjects, everyone sings praise of them.

153Sabhī K|kē andar sē yahī āśhīrvād nikaltī hai ki yah hamārē sadā snēhī , sahyōgī haĩ .

170The blessing that emerges for them from everyone is: “You are constantly loving and co-operative.”

Slogan

171Slogan: At the confluence age, elevated souls are those who are carefree emperors.

172*** Om Shanti *** 173Avyakt Signal: Adopt the culture of truth and good manners 174Never try to prove the truth by letting go of your manners. 175The sign of good manners is humility. 176This humility easily enables you to carry out this renewal. 177Unless you become humble, you cannot bring about renewal. 178The power of this knowledge is peace and love. 179You have made anger, the power of ignorance, your sanskar very well and also you continue to use it and you then also continue to ask for forgiveness. 180In the same way, now make every virtue and every point of this knowledge your sanskar and you will continue to develop good manners.

156 «  gyānī tū ātmā bachchō̃ key|kī bhūl hōnē sē 100 gunā daṇḍ ' '

1821)This is a hundred-fold punishment for knowledgeable children who make mistakes.

157Is avināśhī gyān yagya mē̃ āē sākṣhāt paramātmā kā hāth lēkar phir kāraṇē akāraṇē agar unsē vikarma hō jātā hai tō uskī sazā bahut bhārī hai .

183You have come to the imperishable sacrificial fire of this knowledge and caught hold of the hand of the Supreme Soul in person. 184So, if you commit any sin, due to one reason or another, the punishment for that is very severe.

158Jaisē gyān lēnē sē unkō 100 gunā phāydā hai , vaisē gyān lētē kōī bhūl hō jātī hai tō phir 100 gunā daṇḍ bhī hai isliē bahut khabardārī rakhnī hai .

185Just as by taking this knowledge, you have 100% benefit, in the same way, if, after taking knowledge, you make a mistake, then there is also one hundred-fold punishment. 186So, you have to be very cautious.

159Bhūl kartē rahē̃gē tō kamjōr paṛtē rahē̃gē isliē chhōṭī baṛī bhūl kō pakaṛtē rahō , āindē K|kē liyē ( āgē kē liē ) parīkṣhaṇ kar chaltē chalō .

187If you continue to make mistakes, you will become weak. 188Therefore, continue to monitor your small and big mistakes, be careful in future and keep moving forward.

160Dēkhō , jaisē samajhdār baṛā ādmī burā kām kartā hai tō unkē liyē baṛī sajā hai aur jō nīchē girā huā ādmī hai kuchh burā kām kartā hai tō unkē liyē itnī sazā nahī̃ hai .

189Look, when a wise, great person does something bad, there is severe punishment for him, whereas if a person who has already fallen does something bad, there isn’t that much punishment for him.

161Ab tum bhī paramātmā K|kē bachchē kahlātē hō tō itnē hī tumkō daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karnē haĩ , sachchē bāp kē pās ātē hō tō sachchā hōkar rahnā hai .

190You are now called God’s children, and so you have to imbibe just as many divine virtues. 191You have come to the true Father, and so you have to remain honest and truthful.

1622 - lōg kahtē haĩ paramātmā jānī-jānanahār hai , ab jānī-jānanahār kā arth|earth yah nahī̃ hai ki sabkē dilō̃ kō jāntā hai . 163Parantu sr̥iṣhṭi rachnā K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kō jānnē vālā hai .

1922) How is God Janijananhar (Knower of all)? 193People say that God is Janijananhar, but this doesn’t mean that Janijananhar knows what is in everyone’s heart, but He does know the beginning, the middle and the end of the creation of the world.

164Bākī aisē nahī̃ paramātmā rachtā pālan kartā aur sanhār kartā hai tō iskā matlab yah hai ki paramātmā paidā kartā hai , khilātā hai aur mārtā hai , parantu aisē nahī̃ hai .

194It isn’t that God, the Creator, sustains the world and also destroys it. 195That would mean that God creates the world, sustains it and then also destroys it, but it is not like that.

165Manuṣhya apnē karmō̃ K|kē hisāb-kitāb sē janma lētē haĩ , iskā matlab yah nahī̃ ki paramātmā baiṭh unkē burē saṅkalp aur achchhē saṅkalpō̃ kō jānēgā .

196Human beings take birth according to their karmic accounts. 197So, this doesn’t mean that God would sit and know their good and bad thoughts.

166Vō tō jāntā hai ki ajñāniyō̃ K|kē dil mē̃ kyā chaltā hōgā  ? 167Sārā din māyāvī saṅkalp chaltē hōṅgē aur gyānī K|kē andar śhuddha saṅkalp chaltē hōṅgē , bākī ēk ēk saṅkalp kō baiṭh thōṛēhī read karēgā  ?

198He knows what is going on in the hearts of those without this knowledge. 199They would be having thoughts of Maya all day long, whereas knowledgeable children would have pure thoughts in them.

168Bākī paramātmā jāntā hai , ab tō sabkī ātmā durgati kō pahũchī huī hai , unhō̃ key|kī sadgati kaisē hōnī hai , yah sārī pahchān jānī-jānanahār kō hai .

200However, He would not sit and read each thought, but God does know that all souls have now reached a state of degradation. 201Therefore, Janijananhar (God) has all the knowledge of how to give them salvation.

169Ab manuṣhya jō karma bhraṣhṭa banē haĩ , unhō̃ kō śhrēṣhṭh karma karānā , sikhlānā aur unkō karmbandhan sē chhuṭkārā dēnā , yah paramātmā jāntā hai .

202People who have become corrupt in their actions have to be taught how to carry out elevated actions and be liberated from their karmic bondages. 203God knows this.

170Paramātmā kahtā hai mujh rachtā aur mērī rachnā K|kē ādi-madhy-ant key|kī yah sārī knowledge kō maĩ jāntā hū̃ , vah pahchān tō tum bachchō̃ kō dē rahā hū̃ .

204God says: I have the knowledge of Myself, the Creator, and the beginning, middle and end of My creation, and I give this awareness to all of you.

171Ab tum bachchō̃ kō us bāp key|kī nirantar yād mē̃ rahnā hai tab hī sarv pāpō̃ sē mukt hōṅgē arthāt amarlōk mē̃ jāyēṅgē , ab is jānnē kō hī jānī-jānanahār kahtē haĩ .

205Now, you children have to stay in constant remembrance of that Father, for only then will you be liberated from all sins, that is, only then will you go to the land of immortality. 206Knowing all of this is called being Janijananhar.
