Question
2Praśhna : dān kā mahatva kab hai , uskā return kin bachchō̃ kō prāpt hōtā hai ?
4Question: When is a donation important? 5Which children receive the return of such a donation?
Answer
3Uttar : dān kā mahatva tab hai jab dān key|kī huī chīj mē̃ mamatva na hō .
6Answer: A donation is important when you have no attachment to what you donate.
4Agar dān kiyā phir yād āyā tō uskā phal return mē̃ prāpt nahī̃ hō saktā .
7If you make a donation and then remember whatever you have given, you cannot receive any return for that.
5Dān hōtā hī hai dūsrē janm kē liē isliē is janm mē̃ tumhārē pās|pass jō kuchh hai ussē mamatva miṭā dō .
8Donations are made for a return in the next birth. 9Therefore, finish all your attachment to whatever you have in this birth.
6Trustee hōkar sambhālō .
10Look after everything as a trustee.
7Yahā̃ tum jō īśhvarīy sēvā mē̃ lagātē hō , hospital vā college khōltē hō ussē anēkō̃ kā kalyāṇ hōtā hai , uskē return mē̃ 21 janmō̃ kē liē mil jātā hai .
11Whatever you use for God’s service here, however many hospitals and colleges you open through which many will benefit, you will receive the return of that for 21 births.
Murli
8Ōm śhānti .
12Om shanti.
9Bachchō̃ kō apnā ghar aur apnī rājdhānī yād hai ?
13Do you children remember your home and your kingdom?
10Yahā̃ jab baiṭhtē hō tō bāhar K|kē gharghāṭ , dhandhē-dhōrī ādi K|kē khyālāt nahī̃ ānē chāhiē .
14Whilst sitting here, do not think about your physical home or business, etc.
11Bas apnā ghar hī yād ānā hai .
15Only your home has to be remembered.
12Ab is purānī duniyā sē naī duniyā mē̃ return hai , yah purānī duniyā tō khatm hō jānī hai .
16We are now about to leave this old world and return to that new world. 17This old world is to be destroyed.
13Sab svāhā hō jāyēgā āg mē̃ .
18Everything will be sacrificed into this sacrificial fire.
14Jō kuchh in ôkhō̃ sē dēkhtē hō , mitra-sambandhī ādi yah sab khatm hō jānā hai .
19Whatever you see with your physical eyes, your friends and relatives, etc., they are all to be destroyed.
15Yah gyān bāp hī rūhō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ .
20The Father sits here and explains this knowledge to you spirits.
16Bachchō̃ , ab vāpis apnē ghar chalnā hai . 17Nāṭak pūrā hōtā hai .
21Children, you now have to return home; the play is now coming to an end.
18Yah hai hī 5 hazār varṣh kā chakra .
22This cycle is of 5000 years.
19Duniyā tō hai hī , parantu unkō chakra lagānē mē̃ 5 hazār varṣh lagtē haĩ .
23The world cycle exists eternally, but it takes 5000 years to rotate.
20Jō bhī ātmāyē̃ haĩ sab vāpas chalī jāyēṅgī .
24All the souls living here will return home.
21Yah purānī duniyā hī khatm hō jāyēgī .
25This old world is to be destroyed.
22Bābā bahut achchhī tarah har ēk bāt samjhātē haĩ .
26Baba explains every aspect very clearly.
23Kōī-kōī manhūs hōtē haĩ tō mupht apnī jāydād ganvā baiṭhtē haĩ .
27Some are misers and waste their property for nothing.
24Bhakti mārg mē̃ dān-puṇya tō kartē haĩ nā .
28On the path of devotion, people give donations and perform charity.
25Kōī nē dharmaśhālā banāī , kōī nē hospital banāī , buddhi mē̃ samajhtē haĩ inkā phal dūsrē janm mē̃ milēgā .
29Some build dharamshalas (rest places for pilgrims), some build hospitals, etc. 30Their intellects understand that they will receive the fruit of that in their next birth.
26Bigar kōī āśh , anāsakt hō kōī karē - aisā hōtā nahī̃ hai .
31No one does anything without hoping for some sort of return, no one is free from some desire.
27Bahut kahtē haĩ phal key|kī chāhnā ham nahī̃ rakhtē haĩ . 28Parantu nahī̃ , phal avaśhya miltā hai .
32Many say that they have no desire for a reward for what they do, but they definitely do receive the fruit of whatever they do.
29Samjhō kōī kē pās paisā hai , unsē dharmāū dē diyā tō buddhi mē̃ yah rahēgā hamkō dūsrē janm mē̃ milēgā .
33For instance, when someone uses some of his money to make a donation, it will remain in his intellect that he will receive the return of that in his next birth.
30Agar mamatva gayā , mērī yah chīz hai aisā samjhā tō phir vahā̃ nahī̃ milēgā .
34Here, if you have attachment to what you give, if you think that that thing was yours, you can’t receive the fruit of it in your next birth.
31Dān hōtā hī hai dūsrē janm kē liē .
35Donations are given to receive a return in the next birth.
32Jabki dūsrē janm mē̃ miltā hai tō phir is janm mē̃ mamatva kyō̃ rakhtē , isliē trustee banātē haĩ tō apnā mamatva nikal jāē .
36Since you receive the return in your next birth, why should you have any attachment to it in this birth? 37Therefore, in order for all your attachment to end, you are made trustees.
33Kōī achchhē sāhūkār K|kē ghar mē̃ janma lētē haĩ tō kahē̃gē usnē achchhē karma kiyē haĩ .
38When someone takes birth in a good, wealthy family, it is said that he must have performed good actions in his previous birth.
34Kōī rājā-rānī kē pās janma lētē haĩ , kyōṅki dān-puṇya kiyā hai parantu vah hai alpkāl ēk janm key|kī bāt .
39Someone takes birth to a king and queen because he gave donations and performed charity. 40However, that is a matter of a temporary period, of just one birth.
35Abhī tō tum yah paṛhāī paṛhtē hō .
41You are now studying an education here.
36Jāntē hō is paṛhāī sē hamkō yah bannā hai , tō daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karnā hai .
42You know what you have to become through this study. 43Therefore, imbibe divine virtues.
37Yahā̃ dān jō kartē hō unsē yah rūhānī university , hospital khōltē haĩ .
44A spiritual university and hospital is opened with the donations you give here.
38Dān kiyā tō phir unsē mamatva miṭā dēnā chāhiē kyōṅki tum jāntē hō ham bhaviṣhya 21 janm kē liē bāp sē lētē haĩ .
45Once you have given something in donation, all your attachment to it must end, because you know that you are to receive the return of that from the Father in your future 21 births.
39Yah bāp makān ādi banātē haĩ . 40Yah tō tempory hai .
46All of these buildings, etc. that the Father has had built are only for a temporary period.
41Nahī̃ tō itnē sab bachchē kahā̃ rahē̃gē .
47Otherwise, where would all these children live?
42Dētē haĩ sab śhivbābā kō .
48Everyone gives everything to Shiv Baba.
43Dhanī vah hai .
49He is the Lord and Master.
44Vah inkē dvārā yah karātē haĩ .
50He then does everything through this one.
45Śhivbābā tō rājya nahī̃ kartā .
51Shiv Baba doesn’t rule.
46Khud hai hī dātā .
52He, Himself, is the Bestower.
47Unkā mamatva kismē̃ hōgā !
53What would He have attachment to?
48Abhī bāp śhrīmat dētē haĩ ki maut sāmnē khaṛā hai .
54The Father now gives shrimat; He says: Death is standing in front of you.
49Āgē tum kiskō dētē thē tō maut key|kī bāt nahī̃ thī .
55Previously, when you used to donate something to someone, there was no question of death.
50Ab bābā āyā hai tō purānī duniyā hī khatm hōnī hai .
56Now that Baba has come, the old world is to be destroyed.
51Bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ āyā hī hū̃ is patit duniyā kō khatm karnē .
57Baba says: I have come to finish this impure world.
52Is rudra yagya mē̃ sārī purānī duniyā svāhā hōnī hai .
58The entire old world is to be sacrificed into this sacrificial fire of Rudra.
53Jō kuchh apnā bhaviṣhya banāyēṅgē tō naī duniyā mē̃ milēgā .
59Whatever future you make for yourself, you will receive that in the new world.
54Nahī̃ tō yahā̃ hī sab kuchh khatm hō jāyēgā . 55Kōī na kōī khā jāyēgā .
60Otherwise, everything will be finished here; someone or other will eat it up.
56Ājkal manuṣhya udhār par bhī dētē haĩ .
61Nowadays, people still give credit.
57Vināśh hōgā tō sab khatm hō jāyēṅgē .
62When destruction takes place, everything will be destroyed.
58Kōī kiskō kuchh dēgā nahī̃ . 59Sab rah jāyēgā .
63No one will be able to give back anything to anyone; everything will be left behind.
60Āj achchhā hai , kal dēvālā nikāl dētē . 61Kōī kō bhī kuchh paisā milnē kā nahī̃ hai .
64Today, everything may be good; tomorrow, there will be bankruptcy, no one will get their money back.
62Kōī kō diyā , vah mar gayā phir kaun baiṭh return kartē haĩ .
65If you give something to someone and he dies, who would return that to you?
63Tō kyā karnā chāhiē ?
66So, what should you do?
64Bhārat K|kē 21 janmō̃ K|kē kalyāṇ liē aur phir apnē 21 janmō̃ K|kē kalyāṇ kē liē usmē̃ lagā dēnā chāhiē .
67Use it to benefit Bharat for 21 births; use it to benefit yourselves too for 21 births.
65Tum apnē liē hī kartē hō .
68Whatever you do, you do for yourselves.
66Jāntē hō śhrīmat par ham ūñch pad pātē haĩ , jissē 21 janm sukh-śhānti milēgī .
69You know that, by following shrimat, you are claiming a high status through which you are to receive happiness and peace for 21 births.
67Inkō kahā jātā hai avināśhī bābā key|kī rūhānī hospital aur university , jissē health , wealth aur happiness miltī hai .
70This is called the spiritual hospital and university of the eternal Father through which you receive health, wealth and happiness.
68Kōī kō health hai , wealth nahī̃ tō happiness rah nahī̃ saktī .
71Some have health but not wealth, and so there cannot be happiness.
69Dōnō̃ haĩ tō happy bhī rahtē haĩ .
72If you have both, you can remain happy.
70Bāp tumkō 21 janmō̃ kē liē dōnō̃ dētē haĩ .
73The Father gives you both for 21 births.
71Vō 21 janmō̃ kē liē jamā karnā hai .
74You have to accumulate enough of these for 21 births.
72Bachchō̃ kā kām hai yukti rachnā .
75It is the task of you children to create ways to do this.
73Bāp K|kē ānē sē garīb bachchō̃ key|kī takdīr khul jātī hai .
76The fortune of the poor children opens when the Father comes.
74Bāp hai hī garīb nivāz .
77The Father is the Lord of the Poor.
75Sāhūkārō̃ key|kī takdīr mē̃ hī yah bātē̃ nahī̃ haĩ .
78These things are not in the fortune of the wealthy.
76Is samay bhārat sabsē garīb hai .
79At present, Bharat is the poorest land.
77Jō sāhūkār thā vahī garīb banā hai .
80It used to be the richest land and it has now become the poorest.
78Is samay sab pāp ātmāyē̃ haĩ .
81At present, all souls are impure.
79Jahā̃ puṇya ātmā haĩ vahā̃ pāp ātmā ēk bhī nahī̃ .
82There can't be a single impure soul where there are pure souls.
80Vah hai satyug satōpradhān , yah hai kaliyug tamōpradhān .
83That is the golden age, which is satopradhan, and this is the iron age, which is tamopradhan.
81Tum abhī puruṣhārth kar rahē hō satōpradhān bannē kā .
84You are now making effort to become satopradhan.
82Bāp tum bachchō̃ kō smr̥iti dilātē haĩ tō tum samajhtē hō barōbar ham hī svargvāsī thē . 83Phir hamnē 84 janma liē haĩ .
85The Father is reminding you children of this. 86Therefore, you understand that you truly were residents of heaven, that you took 84 births.
84Bākī 84 lākh yōniyā̃ tō gapōṛā hai .
87To speak of 8.4 million different species is just a lie.
85Kyā itnā janm jānvar yōni mē̃ rahē ! 86Yah pichhāṛī kā manuṣhya kā martabā hai ?
88Did you live as animal species for so many births, and is this, your last birth, human?
87Kyā ab vāpis jānā hai ?
89Do you now have to return to the animal species?
88Ab bāp samjhātē haĩ - maut sāmnē khaṛā hai .
90The Father explains: Death is now standing in front of you.
8940-50 hazār varṣh haĩ nahī̃ .
91There aren't 40,000 to 50,000 years left.
90Manuṣhya tō bilkul ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ isliē kahā jātā hai pattharbuddhi .
92People are in extreme darkness. 93This is why they are called those with stone intellects.
91Abhī tum pattharbuddhi sē pārasbuddhi bantē hō .
94Your intellects are now being changed from stone to divine.
92Yah bātē̃ kōī sannyāsī ādi thōṛēhī batā saktē haĩ .
95Sannyasis, etc. cannot explain these things to you.
93Ab tumkō bāp smr̥iti dilātē haĩ ki vāpis jānā hai . 94Jitnā hō sakē apnā bag baggage transfer kar dō .
96The Father is now reminding you that you have to return home; therefore, transfer your bags and baggage as much as possible.
95Bābā , yah sab lō|low , ham satyug mē̃ 21 janma liē pā lē̃gē .
97Baba, take all of this and I will receive everything in the golden age for 21 births.
96Yah bābā bhī tō dān-puṇya kartē thē .
98This Baba also used to give donations and perform charity.
97Bahut śhauk thā .
99He had a lot of interest in doing that.
98Vyāpārī lōg dō paisā dharmāū nikāltē haĩ . 99Bābā ēk ānā nikāltē thē .
100Businessmen usually put aside two paisa for charity, whereas Baba used to put aside one anna (twice as much).
100Kōī bhī āyē tō darvājē sē khālī na jāyē .
101“No one who comes to your door should leave empty handed.”
101Abhī bhagvān sammukh āyē haĩ , yah kiskō patā nahī̃ hai .
102No one knows that God has come in person.
102Manuṣhya dān-puṇya kartē-kartē mar jāyēṅgē phir kahā̃ milēgā ?
103People die while giving donations and performing charity, and so where would they receive the return of that?
103Pavitra bantē nahī̃ , bāp sē prīt rakhtē nahī̃ .
104They do not become pure. 105They do not have love for the Father.
104Bāp nē samjhāyā hai yādav aur kauravō̃ kī hai vināśh kālē viprīt buddhi . 105Pāṇḍavō̃ kī hai vināśh kālē prīt buddhi .
106The Father has explained: The intellects of the Yadavas and the Kauravas have no love for the Father at the time of destruction, whereas the intellects of the Pandavas are full of love for the Father at the time of destruction.
106Europe-vasi sab yādav haĩ jō mūsal ādi nikāltē rahtē haĩ .
107The people of Europe are all Yadavas because they create bombs, etc.
107Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ tō kyā-kyā bātē̃ likh dī haĩ .
108Just look at what has been written in the scriptures.
108Ḍhēr śhāstra banē huē haĩ , drama plan anusār .
109According to the drama plan, many scriptures have been created.
109Ismē̃ prērṇā ādi key|kī bāt nahī̃ .
110There is no question of inspiration here.
110Prērṇā mānā vichār .
111Inspiration means ideas.
111Bākī aisē thōṛēhī bāp prērṇā sē paṛhātē haĩ .
112The Father does not teach through inspiration.
112Bāp samjhātē haĩ yah bhī ēk vyāpārī thā .
113The Father explains: This one was a businessman.
113Achchhā nām thā . 114Sabhī izzat dētē thē .
114He had a good reputation and was held in high regard by everyone.
115Bāp nē pravēśh kiyā aur isnē gālī khānā śhurū kar dī .
115When the Father entered him, he started to be insulted.
116Śhivbābā kō jāntē nahī̃ . 117Na unkō gālī dē saktē haĩ . 118Gālī yah khātē haĩ .
116They do not know Shiv Baba, so they can’t insult Him. 117It is this one who has to take all the insults.
119Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa nē kahā nā - maĩ nahī̃ mākhan khāyō .
118Shri Krishna denied eating that butter.
120Yah bhī kahtē haĩ kām tō sab kuchh bābā kā hai , maĩ kuchh nahī̃ kartā hū̃ .
119This one also says: All of this is Baba’s work. 120I don't do anything.
121Jādūgar vah hai , maĩ thōṛēhī hū̃ .
121He is the Magician, I am not that.
122Mupht mē̃ inkō gālī dē dētē haĩ .
122People insult this one for no reason.
123Hamnē kōī kō bhagāyā kyā ?
123Did I abduct anyone?
124Kiskō bhī nahī̃ kahā ki tum bhāgkar āō .
124I didn't tell anyone to run away from home and come here.
125Ham tō vahā̃ thē , yah āpēhī bhāg āyē .
125I was simply living there. 126They themselves came running.
126Mupht mē̃ dōṣh ḍāl diyā hai .
127He is blamed without any reason.
127Kitnī gālī khāī .
128He received so many insults.
128Kyā-kyā bātē̃ śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likh dī haĩ .
129Just look at what has been written in the scriptures.
129Bāp samjhātē haĩ yah phir bhī hōgā .
130The Father explains: This will also happen again.
130Yah hai sārī gyān key|kī bāt .
131All of these things are matters of knowledge.
131Kōī manuṣhya yah thōṛēhī kar saktā hai .
132No human being can do this.
132Sō bhī British government K|kē rājya mē̃ kōī kē pās itnī kanyāyē̃-mātāyē̃ baiṭh jāē̃ .
133At that time, it was the rule of the British Government. 134So many mothers and daughters came and stayed.
133Kōī kuchh kar na sakē .
135No one could do anything about it.
134Kōī K|kē sambandhī ātē thē tō ēkdam bhagā dētē thē .
136When the relatives of some came, they would try to take them back.
135Bābā tō kahtē thē bhal inkō samjhākar lē jāō . 136Maĩ kōī manā thōṛēhī kartā hū̃ parantu kiskī himmat nahī̃ hōtī thī .
137Baba would tell them: You can try and make her understand and take her back; I do not forbid anyone to leave. 138However, no one had the courage.
137Bāp key|kī tākat thī nā .
139It was the Father's power.
138Nothing new .
140It was nothing new.
139Yah phir bhī sab hōgā .
141All of that will happen again.
140Gālī bhī khānī paṛē .
142This one had to take the insults.
141Draupadī key|kī bhī bāt hai .
143This is the story of Draupadi.
142Yah sab draupadiyā̃ aur duśhāsan haĩ , ēk key|kī bāt nahī̃ thī .
144All of you are Draupadis and they are all Dushasans. 145It is not a question of just one.
143Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ yah gapōṛē kisnē likhē ?
146Who wrote all of those lies in the scriptures?
144Bāp kahtē haĩ yah bhī drama mē̃ part hai .
147The Father says: Those too are part of the drama.
145Ātmā kā gyān hī kōī mē̃ nahī̃ hai , bilkul hī dēh-abhimānī ban paṛē haĩ .
148No one has this knowledge of souls. 149Everyone has become totally body conscious.
146Dēhī-abhimānī bannē mē̃ mēhnat hai .
150A lot of effort is needed to become soul conscious.
147Rāvaṇ nē bilkul hī ulṭā banā diyā hai .
151Ravan has turned you completely upside-down.
148Ab bāp sulṭā banātē haĩ .
152The Father is now turning you the right way up.
149Dēhī-abhimānī bannē sē svataḥ smr̥iti rahtī hai ki ham ātmā haĩ , yah dēh bājā hai , bajānē liē .
153When you become soul conscious, you automatically have the awareness of being souls and that those are your harmoniums for you to play.
150Yah smr̥iti bhī rahtī tō daivīguṇ bhī ātē jātē haĩ .
154When you maintain this awareness, you are also able to imbibe divine virtues.
151Tum kiskō duḥkh bhī nahī̃ dē saktē .
155You must not cause anyone sorrow.
152Bhārat mē̃ hī in lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya thā .
156There used to be the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan in Bharat.
1535 hazār varṣh key|kī bāt hai .
157It is a matter of 5000 years.
154Agar kōī lākhō̃ varṣh kahtē haĩ tō ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ .
158Those who say that it is hundreds of thousands of years are in total darkness.
155Drama anusār jab samay pūrā huā hai tab bāp phir sē āyā hai .
159According to the drama, time is now coming to a close and so the Father has once again come.
156Ab bāp kahtē haĩ hamārī śhrīmat par chalō .
160The Father says: Now follow My shrimat.
157Maut sāmnē khaṛā hai .
161Death is standing in front of you.
158Phir andar key|kī jō kuchh āśh hai , vah rah jāyēgī .
162Otherwise, the desires that are within you will remain unfulfilled.
159Marnā tō hai jarūr .
163Everyone definitely has to die.
160Yah vahī mahābhārat laṛāī hai , jitnā apnā kalyāṇ kar sakō utnā achchhā hai .
164This is the same Mahabharat War. 165The more you benefit yourselves, the better it will be.
161Nahī̃ tō tum hāth khālī jāyēṅgē .
166Otherwise, you will return empty handed.
162Sārī duniyā hāth khālī jānī hai .
167Everyone else in the world has to return empty handed.
163Sirph tum bachchē bhartū hāth arthāt dhanvān hō jātē hō .
168Only you children go back with your hands full, which means that you return wealthy.
164Ismē̃ samajhnē key|kī baṛī viśhālbuddhi chāhiē .
169A totally unlimited and broad intellect is needed to understand this.
165Kitnē dharm K|kē manuṣhya haĩ .
170There are people of many religions.
166Har ēk key|kī apnī act chaltī hai .
171Each one's act is different.
167Ēk key|kī act na milē dūsrē sē .
172No two persons' acts can be identical.

173Each one's features are his own. 174There are so many different features. 175All of this is fixed in the drama.

176These are wonderful aspects.
170Ab bāp kahtē haĩ apnē kō ātmā samjhō .
177The Father says: Now consider yourselves to be souls.
171Ham ātmā 84 kā chakra lagātī haĩ , ham ātmā is drama mē̃ actor haĩ , insē ham nikal nahī̃ saktē , mōkṣh pā nahī̃ saktē .
178“I, this soul, go around the cycle of 84 births. 179I, a soul, am an actor in this drama. 180I cannot leave it.” 181No one can attain eternal liberation.
172Phir try karnā bhī phāltū hai .
182Therefore, it is useless even to try.
173Bāp kahtē haĩ drama sē kōī nikal jāē , dūsrā kōī add hō jāē - yah hō nahī̃ saktā .
183The Father says: It is impossible for anyone to leave the drama and impossible for anyone to be added to it.

185Churn this knowledge in this way throughout the whole day.
176Ēk ghaṛī ādhī ghaṛī … yah yād karō phir unkō baṛhātē jāō .

193Just as it is in the Father's intellect that He is the Seed of the human world and that He knows the beginning, the middle and the end of that, in the same way, our intellects know that we are Baba's children.
184Bābā nē yah samjhāyā hai , kaisē yah chakra phirtā hai .
194Baba has explained how this cycle continues to turn.
185Us kamāī kē liē bhī tum 8-10 ghaṇṭā dētē hō nā .

187Ubāsī dī|the tō samjhā jātā hai ki yah thakā huā hai . 188Buddhi kahā̃ bāhar bhaṭaktī hōgī .
197Here, too, when someone yawns, it is understood that that person is tired, that his intellect must be wandering elsewhere.
189Centres par bhī baṛā khabardār rahnā hai .
198Those living at the centres also have to remain very cautious.

212Stay very happy.
202Bhagvān paṛhātē haĩ bākī kyā chāhiē .
213God is teaching you, and so what more do you want?
203Bhagvān hamārā bāp , teacher , satgurū hai , unsē hī buddhi kā yōg lagāyā jātā hai .
214God is our Father, Teacher and Satguru. 215Therefore, your intellects have to be connected in yoga to only Him.
