¹Today, on the day of this festival, make a vow with zeal and enthusiasm in your mind ²to remain free from Maya, to be merciful and to become a master bestower of liberation. ³In order to go back home with the Father, become equal to Him.

²aaj chaaron or ke ati snehi bachchon ki umang-utsaah bhari meethi-meethi yaadapyaar aur badhaaeeyaan pahunch rahi hain।

⁴Today, the sweetest love and remembrances filled with zeal and enthusiasm and greetings are reaching BapDada from the extremely loving children everywhere.

³har ek ke man mein baapdaada ke janma din ki umang bhari badhaaeeyaan samaai hui hain।

⁵Greetings filled with enthusiasm for BapDada’s birthday are merged in each one’s mind.

²⁸lekin baap ne dekho bachchon ko dhoondh liya, bhal bachche kisi bhi konon mein kho gaye।

³³However, look at the Father, He found you children, whichever corner you were lost in.

²⁹aaj bhi dekho bhaarat ke anek raajyon se to aaye ho lekin videsh bhi kam nahin hai, 100 deshon se aa gaye hain। ³⁰aur mehnat kya ki?

³⁴So many came from the many states of Bharat; and the countries abroad are no less. ³⁵You children have come from 100 countries, and what effort did you make?

³⁶What effort did you make to belong to the Father?

³⁵bhakti mein kiya lekin jab baap ne dhoondh liya, phir mehnat ki?

⁴⁰You made effort to search for the Father in devotion, but once the Father had found you, did you make any effort?

⁴⁹baapdaada dekhte hain bhakta bhi jo sachche bhakta hain, svaarthi bhakta nahin, sachche bhakta, aaj ke din bade pyaar se vrat rakhte hain।

⁵⁴BapDada sees that those who are true devotees - not selfish devotees, true devotees - they keep a fast on this day with a lot of love.

⁵⁰aap sabne bhi vrat to liya hai, woh thode dinon ka vrat rakhte hain aur aap sabne aisa vrat rakha hai jo abhi ka yeh ek vrat 21 janma kaayam rehta hai।

⁵⁵All of you have also made a vow to fast. ⁵⁶They hold a fast for a few days, whereas all of you have made such a vow to fast that the vow of this present time lasts eternally for 21 births.

⁵¹woh har varsha manaate hain, vrat rakhte hain, aap kalpa mein ek baar vrat lete ho jo 21 janma na man se vrat rakhna padta, na tan se vrat rakhna padta hai।

⁵⁷Those people celebrate every year and observe a fast, whereas you made this a vow to fast once in a cycle so that you neither need to make a vow to fast in your minds for 21 births, nor do you physically need to hold a fast.

⁵²vrat to aap bhi lete ho, kaun sa vrat liya hai?

⁵⁸You also observe a fast. ⁵⁹What fast do you observe?

⁵³pavitra vritti, drishti, kriti, pavitra jeevan ka vrat liya hai।

⁶⁰That of a pure attitude, vision and actions: you have made a vow to have a pure life.

⁵⁴jeevan hi pavitra ban gai।

⁶¹Your life itself has become pure.

⁵⁵pavitrata sirf brahmacharya vrat ki nahin, lekin jeevan mein aahaar, vyavhaar, sansaar, sanskaar sab pavitra।

⁶²It isn’t purity of just celibacy but, in your lives, your food, interaction, world and sanskars are all pure.

⁵⁶aisa vrat liya hai na?

⁶³You have made such a vow to fast, have you not?

⁵⁷liya hai?

⁶⁴Have you?

⁵⁸kaandh hilaao।

⁶⁵Nod in agreement, at least.

⁵⁹liya hai?

⁶⁶Have you made such a vow?

⁶⁰pakka liya hai?

⁶⁷Have you made it firm?

⁶¹pakka ya thoda-thoda kachcha?

⁶⁸Is it firm or a little weak?

⁶²achha, ek mahaabhoot kaam, uska vrat liya hai ya aur chaar ka bhi liya hai?

⁶⁹Achcha, have you made this vow to fast from the one great evil spirit, lust, or have you made this vow to fast from the other four too?

⁶³brahmachaari to bane lekin chaar jo peechhe hain, uska bhi vrat liya hai?

⁷⁰You have become celibate, but have you also made the vow of a fast from the other four that follow?

⁶⁴krodh ka vrat liya hai ki woh chhoot hai?

⁷¹Have you made the vow to fast from anger? ⁷²Or, are you allowed that?

⁶⁵krodh karne ki chhutti mili hai?

⁷³Have you been given permission to get angry?

⁶⁶doosra number hai na to koi harja nahin, aise to nahin?

⁷⁴It is the second number, and so it doesn’t matter? ⁷⁵It is not like that, is it?

⁶⁷jaise maha bhoot ko, mahaabhoot samajhkar man-vaani-karma mein vrat pakka liya hai, aise hi krodh ka bhi vrat liya hai?

⁷⁶Just as you consider the great evil spirit to be such a great evil spirit that you have made a firm vow to fast from it in your mind, words and actions, in the same way, have you also made the vow to fast from anger?

⁶⁸jo samajhte hain hamne krodh ka bhi vrat liya hai, baal bachche peechhe bhi hain, lobh moh ahankaar lekin baapdaada aaj krodh ka poochh rahe hain, jisne krodh vikaar ka poorn vrat liya hai, mansa mein bhi krodh nahin, dil mein bhi krodh ki feeling nahin, aisa hai?

⁷⁷Are there some who feel that they have made a firm vow to fast from anger? ⁷⁸The children or progeny - greed, attachment and ego - come afterwards, but today, BapDada is asking about anger. ⁷⁹Is there anyone who has made the complete vow to fast from anger so that there is no anger in your thoughts nor any feeling of anger in your mind?

⁶⁹aaj shiv jayanti hai na!

⁸⁰Today, it is Shiv Jayanti.

⁷⁰to bhakta vrat rakhenge to baapdaada bhi vrat to poochhenge na!

⁸¹Devotees observe a fast and so BapDada would also ask you about your fast, would He not?

⁷¹jo samajhte hain ki svapna mein bhi krodh ka ansh aa nahin sakta, woh haath uthaao।

⁸²Those who feel that they cannot have the slightest trace of anger even in their dreams, raise your hands!

⁷²aa nahin sakta।

⁸³It just cannot come.

⁷³hai?

⁸⁴Is there anyone?

⁷⁴aata nahin hai?

⁸⁵Does it never come?

⁷⁵nahin aata hai?

⁸⁶Does it ever come?

⁷⁶(kuchhek ne haath uthaaya) achha, jinhonne haath uthaaya unka photo nikaalo, kyonki baapdaada aapke haath uthaane se nahin maanega, aapke saathiyon se bhi certificate lenge phir prize denge।

⁸⁷(Some raised their hands) Achcha, take their photograph of those who have raised their hands because BapDada will not accept it with you just raising your hands; He will also ask for a certificate from your companions. ⁸⁸Then, He will give a prize.

⁷⁷achhi baat hai kyonki baapdaada ne dekha ki krodh ka ansh bhi hota hai, eershya, jealousy yeh bhi krodh ke baal bachche hain।

⁹¹It is good that they have remained courageous, so BapDada is giving them congratulations. ⁹²However, you will be given a prize after He has received a certificate, because BapDada is also seeing the result of the homework that He gave you.

⁷⁹aaj birth de mana rahe ho, to birth de par kya kiya jaata hai?

⁹³Today, you are celebrating this birthday. ⁹⁴So, what is done on a birthday?

⁸⁰ek to cake kaatte hain, to abhi do maas to ho gaye, abhi ek maas raha hai, is do maas mein aapne vyartha sankalp ka cake kaata?

⁹⁵Firstly, a cake is cut. ⁹⁶So, now, it has been two months, and one month remains. ⁹⁷In these two months, did you cut a cake of your waste thoughts?

⁸¹woh cake to bahut sahaj kaat lete ho na, aaj bhi kaatenge। ⁸²lekin vesta thoughts ka cake kaata?

⁸³kaatna to padega na!

¹⁰³If you want to go back together, you will have to become equal, will you not?

⁸⁷agar thoda bahut rah bhi gaya ho, do maas to poore ho gaye, to aaj ke din birth de manaane kahaan-kahaan se aaye ho।

¹⁰⁴If a little remains, then two months have been completed. ¹⁰⁵Today, you have come from so many places to celebrate this birthday.

⁸⁸plen mein bhi aaye ho, train mein bhi aaye ho, car mein bhi aaye ho, baapdaada ko khushi hai ki bhaag-bhaag karke aaye ho।

⁸⁹lekin birth de par pahle gift bhi dete hain, to jo ek maas raha hua hai, holi bhi aane vaali hai।

¹⁰⁸However, on a birthday, first of all, a gift is given, and so one month remains, and then Holi will also come.

⁹⁰holi mein bhi kuchh jalaaya hi jaata hai।

¹⁰⁹On Holi, you burn something.

⁹¹to thoda bahut jo vesta thoughts beej hain, agar beej raha hua hoga to kabhi tana bhi nikal aayega, kabhi shaakha bhi nikal aayegi, to kya aaj ke utsav ke din man ke umang-utsaah se, (man ka umang-utsaah, mukh ka nahin man ka, man ke umang-utsaah se) jo thoda bahut rah gaya hai, chaahe mansa mein, chaahe vaani mein, chaahe sambandh-samparka mein, kya aaj baap ke birth de par baap ko yeh gift de sakte ho?

¹¹⁰So, whatever little seeds of waste thoughts that remain, they will make the trunk emerge or even the branches emerge sometimes. ¹¹¹So, today, on the day of this festival, with zeal and enthusiasm in your mind - not zeal and enthusiasm of only words but with zeal and enthusiasm of your mind - whatever little remains, whether it is in your thoughts, in your words or in your relationships and connections, on the day of the Father’s birthday, can you give the Father this gift?

⁹²de sakte ho man ke umang-utsaah se?

¹⁰⁰madhuban vaalon mein bhi hai, foreign vaalon mein bhi hai, bhaaratvaasiyon mein bhi hai kyonki baapdaada ka pyaar hai na, to baapdaada samajhte hain sab ikatthe chalen, koi rah nahin jaaye।

¹¹⁹Those from Madhuban and those from abroad have it; even the people of Bharat have courage because BapDada loves you and so He feels that all of us should go back together, and that no one should be left behind.

¹⁰¹jab vaayda kiya hai, saath chalenge, to samaan to banna hi padega।

¹²⁰Since you have promised that you will go back with the Father, you have to become equal.

¹⁰²pyaar hai na!

¹²¹You have love for the Father, do you not?

¹⁰³mushkil se to nahin haath uthaaya?

¹²²You didn’t raise your hands with difficulty, did you?

¹⁰⁴baapdaada is sangathan ka, brahman parivaar ka baap samaan mukhda dekhne chaahte hain।

¹²³BapDada wishes to see all in this gathering, this Brahmin family, to have faces that are equal to the Father’s.

¹⁰⁵sirf dridh sankalp ki himmat karo, badi baat nahin hai lekin sahanshakti chaahiye, samaane ki shakti chaahiye।

¹²⁴Simply have the courage to have determination thoughts. ¹²⁵It isn’t a big deal, but the power to tolerate and the power to accommodate are needed.

¹⁰⁶yeh do shaktiyaan, jismen sahanshakti hai, samaane ki shakti hai, woh krodhmukta sahaj ho sakta hai।

¹²⁶Those who have these two powers, the power to tolerate and the power to accommodate, can easily become free from anger.

¹⁰⁷to aap brahman bachchon ko to baapdaada ne sarva shaktiyaan vardaan mein di hain, title hi hai master sarvashaktivaan।

¹²⁷BapDada has given all of you Brahmin children all the powers as a blessing; your title itself is master almighty authorities.

¹⁰⁸bas ek slogan yaad rakhna, agar ek maas mein samaan banna hi hai to ek slogan yaad rakhna, vaayde ka hai - na du:kh dena hai, na du:kh lena hai।

¹²⁸Simply remember one slogan, that is all. ¹²⁹If you want to become equal in just one month, then remember one slogan. ¹³⁰It is a promise: Do not cause sorrow, do not take sorrow.

¹⁰⁹kai yeh check karte hain ki aaj ke din kisko du:kh diya nahin hai, lekin lete bahut sahaj hain kyonki lene mein doosra deta hai na, to apne ko chhuda dete hain, mainne thode hi kuchh kiya, doosre ne diya, lekin liya kyon?

¹³¹Many of you check that you didn’t cause anyone sorrow during the day, but you very easily take sorrow. ¹³²In order to take sorrow, there has to be someone who causes it and so you justify yourself by saying, “I didn’t do anything, the other person gave.” ¹³³However, why did you take it?

¹¹⁰lene vaale aap ho ya dene vaale?

¹³⁴Are you the one who is taking it or the one who is causing it?

¹¹¹dene vaale ne galti ki, woh baap aur drama jaane uska hisaab-kitaab, lekin aapne liya kyon?

¹³⁵The one who caused you sorrow made a mistake, so the Father knows about that karmic account and the drama, but why did you take it?

¹¹²baapdaada ne result mein dekha hai ki dene mein phir bhi sochte hain lekin le bahut jaldi lete hain isliye samaan ban nahin sakenge।

¹³⁶In the result, BapDada sees in the result that you think about it, when it comes to causing sorrow, but, nevertheless, you very quickly take sorrow. ¹³⁷This is why you will not be able to become equal.

¹¹³lena nahin hai kitna bhi koi de, nahin to feeling ki beemaari badh jaati hai isliye agar chhoti-chhoti baaton mein feeling badhti hai to vesta thoughts khatma nahin ho sakte phir baap ke saath kaise chalenge!

¹³⁸No matter how much someone causes it for you, you mustn’t take it. ¹³⁹Otherwise, the illness of “feelings” will increase. ¹⁴⁰Therefore, if your feelings increase over little matters, then waste thoughts cannot finish. ¹⁴¹In that case, how could you go back home with the Father?

¹¹⁴baap ka pyaar hai, baap aapko chhod nahin sakta, saath leke hi jaana hai।

¹⁴²The Father loves you and so the Father cannot leave you alone, He definitely has to take back you with Him.

¹¹⁵manjoor hai?

¹⁴³Is this agreed?

¹¹⁶pasanda hai na?

¹⁴⁴Do you like it?

¹¹⁷pasanda hai to haath uthaao।

¹⁴⁵If you like it, raise your hands!

¹¹⁸peechhe-peechhe to nahin aana hai na!

¹⁴⁶You are not going to follow behind, are you?

¹¹⁹agar saath chalna hai to gift deni hi padegi।

¹⁴⁷If you want to go back home together, you will definitely have to give a gift.

¹²⁰ek maas sab abhyaas karo, na du:kh lena hai na du:kh dena hai।

¹⁴⁸For one month, all of you practise: not to cause sorrow and not to take sorrow.

¹²¹yeh nahin kehna mainne diya nahin, usne le liya, kuchh to hota hai।

¹⁴⁹Do not say, “I didn’t cause him sorrow, but that one took it”. ¹⁵⁰Things do happen.

¹²²pardarshan nahin karna, sva-darshan।

¹⁵¹Do not look at others, look at yourself.

¹²³he arjun mujhe banna hai।

¹⁵²I have to become “O Arjuna.”

¹²⁴dekho, baapdaada ne report mein dekha, santushtata ki report abhi majority ki nahin thi, iseelie baapdaada phir ek maas ke liye underline karaate hain।

¹⁵³Look, BapDada has seen the report and, as yet, for the majority, it was not a report of contentment. ¹⁵⁴This is why BapDada is underlining it for one month.

¹²⁵agar ek maas abhyaas kar liya to aadat pad jaayegi।

¹⁵⁵If you practise this for one month, you will form this habit.

¹²⁶aadat daalni hai।

¹⁵⁶You have to instil this habit.

¹²⁷halka nahin chhodna, yeh to hota hi hai, itna to chalega, nahin।

¹⁵⁷Do not take it lightly, that “This happens anyway. ¹⁵⁸This much will do.” ¹⁵⁹No.

¹²⁸agar baapdaada se pyaar hai to pyaar ke peechhe kya sirf ek krodh vikaar ko kurbaan nahin kar sakte?

¹⁶⁰If you love BapDada, then can you not sacrifice just the one vice of anger out of love?

¹²⁹kurbaan ki nishaani hai - pharmaan maanne vaala।

¹⁶¹The sign of sacrifice is to be one who follows orders.

¹³⁰vyartha sankalp antim ghadi mein bahut dhokha de sakta hai kyonki chaaron or apne taraph du:kh ka vaayumandal, prakriti ka vaayumandal aur aatmaon ka vaayumandal aakarshan karne vaala hoga।
