3Question: Which children among you become multimillion times fortunate and which ones become unfortunate?

Answer

3Uttar  : jinkī chalan dēvtāō̃ jaisī hai , jō sabkō sukh dētē haĩ vah haĩ padmāpadam bhāgyaśhālī aur jō fail hō jātē haĩ unkō kahē̃gē durbhāgyaśhālī .

4Answer: Those whose activity is like that of deities and who give happiness to everyone become multimillion times fortunate, whereas those who fail are called unfortunate.

4Kōī-kōī mahān durbhāgyaśhālī ban jātē haĩ , vah sabkō duḥkh dētē rahtē haĩ .

5Some become greatly unfortunate and therefore continue to cause sorrow for others.

5Sukh dēnā jāntē hī nahī̃ .

6They don't know how to give happiness.

6Bābā kahtē haĩ bachchē apnī achchhī rīti sambhāl karō .

7Baba says: Children, take very good care of yourselves.

7Sabkō sukh dō , lāyak banō .

8Give everyone happiness and become worthy.

Murli

8Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

9Rūhānī bāp baiṭh rūhānī bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ .

10The spiritual Father sits here and explains to you spiritual children.

10Tum is pāṭhśhālā mē̃ baiṭh ūñch darjā pātē hō .

11By sitting in this university, you claim a high status.

11Dil mē̃ samajhtē hō ham bahut ūñch tē ūñch svarg kā pad pātē haĩ .

12You understand in your hearts that you are claiming the highest-on-high status of heaven.

12Aisē bachchō̃ kō tō khuśhī bahut hōnī chāhiē .

13Such children should have a lot of happiness.

13Agar sabkō niśhchay hai tō sab ēk jaisē tō hō na sakē̃ .

14Even if you all do have faith, not all of you are the same.

14First sē last number tak tō hōtē hī haĩ .

15You are always numberwise from the first to the last.

15Papers mē̃ bhī first sē last number tak number hōtē haĩ . 16Kōī fail bhī hōṅgē , tō kōī pās|pass bhī hōtē hōṅgē .

16In a test paper, they also become numberwise from the first number to the last number; some pass and some still fail.

17Tō har ēk apnī dil sē pūchhē - bābā jō hamkō itnā ūñch banātē haĩ , maĩ kahā̃ tak lāyak banā hū̃  ?

17Each of you can ask your heart: Baba is making me so elevated, but to what extent have I become worthy?

18Phalānē sē achchhā hū̃ vā cum|kam hū̃  ?

18Am I better than so-and-so or am I less worthy?

19Yah paṛhāī hai nā .

19This is a study.

20Dēkhnē mē̃ bhī ātā hai , jō kōī subject mē̃ kamzōr hōtē haĩ tō nīchē chalē jātē haĩ .

20It has been seen that those who are weak in some subjects attain a lower grade.

21Bhal monitor hōgā tō bhī kōī subject mē̃ kam hōgā tō nīchē chalā jāyēgā .

21Even when someone is a monitor but is weak in certain subjects, he too would attain a lower grade.

22Virlā hī kōī scholarship lētē haĩ .

22Scarcely any win a scholarship.

23Yah bhī school hai .

23This too is a school.

24Tum jāntē hō ham sab paṛh rahē haĩ , ismē̃ pahlī-pahlī bāt hai pavitratā key|kī .

24You know that all of you are studying. 25The first and foremost thing here is purity.

25Bāp kō bulāyā hai nā - pavitra bannē kē liē .

26You called out to the Father in order for you to become pure.

26Agar criminal eye kām kartī hōgī tō khud feel kartē hōṅgē .

27When your criminal eyes are working, you yourselves are able to feel that.

27Bābā kō likhtē bhī haĩ , bābā ham is subject mē̃ cum|kam haĩ .

28Some write to Baba: Baba, I am weak in this subject.

28Student key|kī buddhi mē̃ yah jarūr rahtā hai - ham phalānī subject mē̃ bahut-bahut cum|kam hū̃ .

29It definitely remains in the intellects of students when they are very weak in a particular subject.

29Kōī aisē bhī samajhtē haĩ ham fail hōṅgē .

30Some even believe that they will fail.

30Ismē̃ pahlē number key|kī subject hai - pavitratā .

31The number one subject in this is purity.

31Bahut likhtē haĩ bābā hamnē hār khāī , tō uskō kyā kahē̃gē  ?

32Many write to Baba and say that they have been defeated. 33So, what would you say to that?

32Unkī dil samajhtī hōgī - ab maĩ chaṛh nahī̃ sakū̃gā .

34Their hearts understand that they won’t be able to climb up.

33Tum pavitra duniyā sthāpan kartē hō nā .

35You are establishing the pure world.

34Tumhārī aim object hī yah hai .

36This is your aim and objective.

35Bāp kahtē haĩ - bachchō̃ , māmēkam yād karō aur pavitra banō tō in lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē gharānē mē̃ jā saktē hō .

37The Father says: Children, constantly remember Me alone and become pure and you will be able to enter the dynasty of Lakshmi and Narayan.

36Teacher tō samajhtē hōṅgē yah itnā ūñch pad pā sakē̃gē vā nahī̃  ?

38A teacher is able to understand whether a student can receive a high status or not.

37Vah hai supreme teacher .

39That One is the Supreme Teacher.

38Yah dādā bhī school tō paṛhā huā hai nā .

40This Dada also studied at school.

39Kōī-kōī chhōkrē ( laṛakē ) bhī aisē kharāb kām kartē haĩ jō ākhir master kō sazā dēnī paṛtī hai .

41Some children do very bad things and in the end the master has to punish them.

40Āgē bahut jōr sē sazāyē̃ dētē thē .

42Previously, they used to give very severe punishment.

41Abhī sazā ādi cum|kam kar dī hai tō students aur hī jāstī bigaṛtē haĩ .

43Now the punishment has been reduced and so students become even more spoilt.

42Ājkal student kitnā haṅgāmā kartē haĩ .

44Nowadays, students create so much upheaval.

43Student kō new blood kahtē haĩ nā .

45Students are called the "new blood".

44Vah dēkhō kyā kartē haĩ  !

46Look at what they do.

45Āg lagā dētē haĩ , apnī javānī dikhlātē haĩ .

47They set things on fire and show the power of their youth.

46Yah hai hī āsurī duniyā .

48This is a devilish world.

47Javān laṛakē hī bahut kharāb hōtē haĩ , unkī āṅkhē̃ bahut criminal hōtī haĩ .

49Young men are very bad; their eyes are very criminal.

48Dēkhnē mē̃ tō baṛē achchhē ātē haĩ .

50Externally, they appear to be very good.

49Jaisē kahā jātā hai nā - īśhvar kā ant nahī̃ pāyā jātā , aisē unkā bhī ant nahī̃ pāyā jātā , ki yah kis prakār kā manuṣhya hai .

51It is said: You cannot reach the depths of God. 52Similarly, you cannot reach their depths as far as knowing what type of human beings they are.

50Hā̃ , gyān kā buddhi sē patā paṛtā hai , yah kaisē paṛhtā hai , inkī activity kaisī hai .

53Yes, you can understand how much of this knowledge their intellects have taken in by seeing how they study and what their activity is like.

51Kōī tō bāt kartē haĩ jaisē mukh sē phūl nikaltē haĩ , kōī tō aisī bāt kartē jaisē patthar nikāltē haĩ .

54When some speak, it is as though flowers are being showered from their lips, whereas when others speak it is as though they are throwing stones.

52Dēkhnē mē̃ bahut achchhē , points ādi bhī likhtē haĩ parantu haĩ pattharbuddhi .

55To look at, you would think that they will be very good and they even write down points, but they have stone intellects.

53Bāhar kā show hai .

56They just have external show.

54Māyā baṛī duśhtar hai isliē gāyan hai āśhcharyavat sunantī , apnē kō śhivbābā key|kī santān kahalāvantī , aurō̃ kō sunāvantī , kathantī phir bhāgantī arthāt traitor banantī .

57Maya is very powerful, and this is why it is remembered that those who were amazed by this knowledge and related it to others, those who called themselves the children of Shiv Baba, then ran away, that is, they became traitors.

55Aisē nahī̃ , hōśhiyār traitor nahī̃ bantē haĩ , achchhē-achchhē hōśhiyār bhī traitor ban paṛtē haĩ .

58Don't think that clever ones don't become traitors. 59Even some very good and clever ones become traitors.

56Us sēnā mē̃ bhī aisē hōtā hai . 57Aeroplane sahit hī dūsrē dēśh mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ .

60Even in physical armies, it is like that; they take an aeroplane to another country.

58Yahā̃ bhī aisē hōtā hai , sthāpanā mē̃ baṛī mēhnat lagtī hai .

61It is the same here. 62Establishment takes a lot of effort.

59Bachchō̃ kō bhī paṛhāī mē̃ mēhnat , teacher kō bhī paṛhānē mē̃ mēhnat hōtī hai .

63Children have to make a lot of effort to study and teachers have to make a lot of effort to teach.

60Dēkhā jātā hai yah sabkō disturb kartē haĩ , paṛhtē nahī̃ haĩ tō skūlō̃ mē̃ hanṭar lagātē haĩ .

64In a school, when it is seen that a student is disturbing others and not studying, he is punished.

61Yah tō bāp hai , bāp kuchh bhī nahī̃ kahtē haĩ .

65That One is the Father. 66The Father doesn’t say anything.

62Bāp kē pās yah kānūn nahī̃ hai , yahā̃ tō bilkul śhānt rahnā hōtā hai .

67That rule doesn't apply to the Father. 68Here, you have to remain completely peaceful.

63Bāp tō sukhdātā , pyār kā sāgar hai .

69The Father is the Bestower of Happiness, the Ocean of Love.

64Tō bachchō̃ key|kī chalan bhī aisī hōnī chāhiē nā , jaisē dēvtāyē̃ hōtē haĩ .

70Therefore, the behaviour of you children should be like that of the deities.

65Tum bachchō̃ kō bābā sadaiv kahtē haĩ tum padmāpadma bhāgyaśhālī hō .

71Baba always tells you children that you are multimillion times fortunate.

66Parantu padmāpadma durbhāgyaśhālī bhī bantē haĩ .

72However, some of you even become multimillion times unfortunate.

67Jō fail hōtē haĩ unkō tō durbhāgyaśalī kahē̃gē nā .

73Those who fail can only be called unfortunate.

68Bābā jāntē haĩ - ant tak yah hōtā rahtā hai .

74Baba knows that this will continue till the end.

69Kōī na kōī mahān durbhāgyaśhālī bhī jarūr bantē haĩ .

75Some definitely do become greatly unfortunate.

70Chalan aisī hōtī hai samjhā jātā hai yah ṭhahar nahī̃ sakē̃gē . 71Itnā ūñch bannē lāyak nahī̃ hai , sabkō duḥkh dētē rahtē haĩ .

76Their behaviour is such that it can be understood that they won't be able to stay here, that they are not worthy of becoming so elevated. 77They continue to cause everyone sorrow.

72Sukh dēnā jāntē hī nahī̃ tō unkī hālat kyā hōgī  !

78Since they don't even know how to give happiness, what would their condition be?

73Bābā sadaiv kahtē haĩ - bachchē , apnī achchhī rīti sambhāl karō , yah bhī drama anusār hōnē kā hai , aur hī lōhē sē bhī badtar ban jātē haĩ .

79Baba always says: Children, take very good care of yourselves. 80According to the drama, all of this has to happen. 81They become even worse than iron.

74Sō bhī achchhē-achchhē kabhī chiṭṭhī bhī nahī̃ likhtē haĩ .

82Very good ones never even write a letter.

75Bichārō̃ kā kyā hall|hāl hōgā  !

83What would the condition be of those poor helpless ones?

76Bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ āyā hū̃ sarv kā kalyāṇ karnē .

84The Father says: I have come to benefit everyone.

77Āj sarv key|kī sadgati kartā hū̃ , kal phir durgati hō jātī hai .

85Today, I grant salvation to everyone and tomorrow they become degraded.

78Tum kahē̃gē ham kal viśhva K|kē mālik thē , āj gulām ban gayē haĩ .

86You say that you were the masters of the world yesterday and that you have become slaves today.

79Abhī sārā jhāṛ tum bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ hai .

87You children now have the whole tree in your intellects.

80Yah wonderful jhāṛ hai .

88This tree is wonderful.

81Manuṣhyō̃ kō yah bhī patā nahī̃ hai .

89Human beings don't even understand this tree.

82Abhī tum jāntē hō kalp mānā pūrē 5 hazār varṣh kā accurate jhāṛ hai .

90You now know that a cycle means the accurate tree of the full 5000 years.

83Ēk second kā bhī fark nahī̃ paṛ saktā .

91There can be no difference of even a second.

84Is bēhad K|kē jhāṛ key|kī tum bachchō̃ kō abhī knowledge mil rahī hai .

92You children are now receiving the knowledge of this unlimited tree.

85Knowledge dēnē vālā hai vr̥ikṣhapati .

93The One who is giving you this knowledge is the Lord of the Tree.

86Bīj kitnā chhōṭā hōtā hai , unsē phal dēkhō kitnā baṛā nikaltā hai .

94A seed is so tiny, but just look how much fruit emerges from it.

87Yah phir hai wonderful jhāṛ , inkā bīj bahut chhōṭā hai .

95This tree, too, is so wonderful, and its Seed is so tiny.

88Ātmā kitnī chhōṭī hai .

96A soul is so tiny.

89Bāp bhī bahut chhōṭā , in āṅkhō̃ sē dēkh bhī nahī̃ saktē .

97The Father too is very tiny. 98He cannot be seen with these eyes.

90Bhal vivēkānand kā batlātē haĩ - usnē kahā jyōti unsē nikal mērē mē̃ samā gaī .

99They relate the example of Vivekananda who said that a light came out of his guru and entered him.

91Aisī kōī jyōti nikalkar phir samā thōṛēhī saktī hai .

100A light cannot come out of one and enter another like that.

92Kyā nikalā  ? 93Yah samajhtē nahī̃ .

101They don't understand what came out of him.

94Aisē-aisē sākṣhātkār tō bahut hōtē haĩ , parantu vō lōg mān dētē haĩ , phir mahimā bhī likhtē haĩ .

102Many have such visions. 103Those people believe in that and then even write about it.

95Bhagvānuvāch - kōī bhī manuṣhya key|kī mahimā hai nahī̃ .

104God speaks: There is no praise of human beings.

96Mahimā hai tō sirph dēvtāō̃ kī hai aur jō aisā dēvtā banānē vālā hai uskī mahimā hai .

105There is only praise of the deities. 106There is also the praise of the One who makes you into deities like them.

97Bābā nē card bahut achchhā banāyā thā .

107Baba has had very good cards made.

98Jayantī manānā hō tō ēk śhivbābā key|kī .

108If you are going to celebrate someone's birthday, it should be Shiv Baba’s.

99In ( lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ) kō bhī aisā banānē vālā tō śhivbābā hai nā .

109It was Shiv Baba who made Lakshmi and Narayan become like that.

100Bas ēk key|kī hī mahimā hai , us ēk kō hī yād karō .

110There is praise of just the One. 111Remember just that One.

101Yah khud kahtē haĩ ūñch tē ūñch bantā hū̃ phir nīchē bhī utartā hū̃ .

112This one says: I become the highest of all and then I come down.

102Yah kiskō patā nahī̃ hai - ūñch tē ūñch lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ hī phir 84 janmō̃ kē bād nīchē utartē haĩ , tat tvam .

113No one knows that the highest of all, Lakshmi and Narayan, take 84 births and then come down. 114The same applies to you.

103Tum hī viśhva K|kē mālik thē , phir kyā ban gayē  !

115You were the masters of the world; what have you become now?

104Satyug mē̃ kaun thē  ?

116Who was there in the golden age?

105Tum hī sab thē , number-vār puruṣhārth anusār .

117All of you were there, numberwise, according to the efforts you made.

106Rājā-rānī bhī thē , sūryavanśhī-chandravanśhī dynasty K|kē bhī thē .

118There were kings and queens. 119There were those of the sun dynasty and also the moon dynasty.

107Bābā kitnā achchhī rīti samjhātē haĩ .

120Baba explains to you very well.

108Is sr̥iṣhṭi chakra kā gyān tum bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ chaltē-phirtē rahnā chāhiē .

121You children should keep this knowledge of the world cycle in your intellects while walking and moving around.

109Tum chaitanya light house hō .

122You are living lighthouses.

110Sārī paṛhāī buddhi mē̃ rahnī chāhiē .

123Keep the whole study remain in your intellects.

111Parantu vah avasthā huī nahī̃ hai , hōnē kī hai .

124However, you haven't reached that stage yet; it is yet to come.

112Jō pass with honour hōṅgē unkī yah avasthā hōgī .

125This will be the stage of those who are to pass with honours.

113Sārā gyān buddhi mē̃ hōgā .

126They will have all of this knowledge in their intellects.

114Bāp K|kē lāḍlē , lovely bachchē bhī tab kahalāyēṅgē .

127Only then will you be called the beloved, lovely children of the Father.

115Aisē bachchō̃ par bāp svarg kī rājāī kurbān kartē haĩ .

128The Father surrenders the kingdom of heaven to such children.

116Kahtē haĩ maĩ rājāī nahī̃ kartā hū̃ , tumkō dētā hū̃ , iskō niṣhkām sēvā kahā jātā hai .

129He says: I don't rule the kingdom; I give it you. 130This is called selfless service.

117Bachchē jāntē haĩ bābā hamkō sir kē ūpar chaṛhātē haĩ , tō aisē bāp kō kitnā yād karnā chāhiē .

131You children understand that the Father is seating you on His head. 132Therefore, you should remember such a Father so much.

118Yah bhī drama banā huā hai .

133This drama is predestined.

119Bāp saṅgam par ākar sabkō sadgati dētē haĩ , number-vār puruṣhārth anusār .

134The Father comes at the confluence age and grants you all salvation, numberwise, according to your efforts.

120Number one highest bilkul pavitra , number last bilkul apavitr .

135The number one is the highest and is completely pure and the last number is completely impure.

121Yād-pyār tō bābā sabkō dētē haĩ .

136Baba gives love and remembrance to everyone.

122Bābā kitnā achchhī rīti samjhātē haĩ , kabhī bhī mithyā ahaṅkār nahī̃ ānā chāhiē .

137Baba says very clearly: You must never have any false arrogance.

123Bāp kahtē haĩ - khabardār rahnā hai , rath kā bhī regard rakhnā hai .

138The Father says: You have to remain cautious and also have regard for the chariot.

124Is dvārā hī tō bāp sunātē haĩ nā .

139The Father speaks through this one.

125Isnē tō kabhī gālī nahī̃ khāī thī . 126Sab pyār kartē thē .

140This one was never insulted before; everyone used to love him.

127Abhī tō dēkhō kitnī gālī khātē haĩ .

141Now, look how many insults he has to take.

128Kaī traitor ban bhāgantī hō gayē tō phir unkī gati kyā hōgī , fail hōṅgē nā  !

142Some became traitors and ran away and so what would their condition be? 143They would fail, would they not?

129Bāp samjhātē haĩ māyā aisī hai isliē bahut khabardārī rakhtē rahō .

144The Father explains: This is what Maya is like. 145Therefore, remain very cautious.

130Māyā kiskō bhī chhōṛtī nahī̃ hai . 131Sab prakār key|kī āg lagā dētī hai .

146Maya doesn’t leave anyone alone; she starts all sorts of fires.

132Bāp kahtē haĩ mērē sab bachchē kām chitā par chaṛh kālē kōylē ban gayē haĩ .

147The Father says: All of My children have become absolutely ugly by sitting on the pyre of lust.

133Sab tō ēk jaisē nahī̃ hōtē haĩ . 134Na sabkā ēk jaisā part hai .

148Not all can be the same; nor do you all have the same part.

135Inkā nām hī hai vēśhyālay , kitnā bār kām chitā par chaṛhē hōṅgē .

149This place is called a brothel; everyone must have sat on the pyre of lust so many times.

136Rāvaṇ kitnā jabardast hai , buddhi kō hī patit banā dētā hai .

150Ravan is so powerful. 151He makes your intellects impure.

137Yahā̃ ākar bāp sē śhikṣhā lēnē vālē bhī aisē ban jātē haĩ .

152Even those who came here and took teachings from the Father have become like that.

138Bāp kī yād bigar criminal āṅkhē̃ kabhī badal nahī̃ saktī isliē sūrdās key|kī kahānī hai .

153Your criminal eyes can never change unless you remember the Father. 154This is why there is the story of Surdas (someone who blinded himself).

139Hai tō banāī huī bāt , dr̥iṣhṭānt bhī dētē haĩ .

155That is just a story that they have made up as an example.

140Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō gyān kā tīsrā nētra miltā hai .

156Each of you children has now received a third eye of this knowledge.

141Agyān mānā andhiyārā .

157Ignorance means darkness.

142Kahtē haĩ nā tum tō andhē , agyānī hō .

158When it is said, “You are blind”, it means, “You are ignorant.”

143Ab gyān hai gupta , ismē̃ kuchh bōlnē kā nahī̃ hai .

159This knowledge is incognito and so there is no question of saying anything.

144Ēk second mē̃ sārā gyān ā jātā hai , sabsē easy gyān hai .

160All of this knowledge emerges in a second. 161The easiest of all is knowledge.

145Phir bhī ant tak māyā key|kī parīkṣhā chaltī rahēgī .

162Nevertheless, the tests from Maya will continue till the end.

146Is samay tō tūphān K|kē bīch mē̃ haĩ , pakkē hō jāyēṅgē phir itnā tūphān nahī̃ āyēṅgē , girē̃gē nahī̃ .

163At this time, you are in the middle of storms. 164When you become strong, there won't be so many storms and you won't fall.

147Phir dēkhnā tumhārā jhāṛ kitnā baṛhtā hai .

165Then, you will see how much your tree will grow.
