Essence
1 « mīṭhē bachchē - yah kayāmat kā samay hai , rāvaṇ nē sabkō kabradākhil kar diyā hai , bāp āyē haĩ amr̥it varṣhā kar sāth lē jānē ' '
1Essence: Sweet children, it is now the time of settlement. 2Ravan has buried everyone in the graveyard. 3The Father has come to shower nectar and take you back with Him.
Question
2Praśhna : śhivbābā kō bhōlā bhaṇḍārī bhī kahā jātā hai - kyō̃ ?
4Question: Why is Shiv Baba called the Innocent Lord of the Treasure Store?
Answer
3Uttar : kyōṅki śhiv bhōlānāth jab ātē haĩ tō gaṇikāō̃ , ahilyāō̃ , kubjāō̃ kā bhī kalyāṇ kar unhē̃ viśhva kā mālik banā dētē haĩ .
5Answer: Because it is when Shiva, the Innocent Lord, comes that He benefits those with no virtues, those with stone intellects and the hunchbacks and makes them into the masters of the world.
4Ātē bhī dēkhō patit duniyā aur patit śharīr mē̃ haĩ tō bhōlā huā nā .
6He comes into this impure world and enters an impure body. 7He is so innocent.
5Bhōlē bāp kā direction hai - mīṭhē bachchē , ab amr̥it piyō , vikārō̃ rūpī viṣh kō chhōṛ dō .
8The direction of the Innocent Lord is: Sweet children, drink nectar and leave the poison of vices.
Song
6Gīt : dūrdēśh kā rahnē vālā …
9Song: The Resident of the faraway land has come into this foreign land.
Murli
7Ōm śhānti .
10Om shanti.
8Rūhānī bachchō̃ nē gīt sunā arthāt rūhō̃ nē is śharīr K|kē kān karmēndriyō̃ dvārā gīt sunā .
11You spiritual children heard the song, that is, you souls heard the song through the physical sense organs of your ears.
9Dūr dēśh K|kē musāphir ātē haĩ , tum bhī musāphir hō nā .
12The Traveller comes from the faraway land. 13You too are travellers.
10Jō bhī manuṣhya ātmāyē̃ haĩ vah sab musāphir haĩ .
14All human souls here are travellers.
11Ātmāō̃ kā kōī bhī ghar nahī̃ hai .
15Souls do not have a home.
12Ātmā hai nirākār .
16Souls are incorporeal.
13Nirākārī duniyā mē̃ rahnē vālī nirākārī ātmāyē̃ haĩ .
17Incorporeal souls live in the incorporeal world.
14Uskō kahā jātā hai nirākārī ātmāō̃ kā ghar , dēśh vā lōk , inkō jīv ātmāō̃ kā dēśh kahā jātā hai .
18That is called the home, the country or world of incorporeal souls. 19This is called the country of human souls.
15Vah hai ātmāō̃ kā dēśh phir ātmāyē̃ yahā̃ ākar śharīr mē̃ jab pravēśh kartī haĩ tō nirākār sē sākār ban jātī haĩ .
20That is the country of souls. 21Then, when souls come here and enter bodies, they become corporeal from incorporeal.
16Aisē nahī̃ ki ātmā kā kōī rūp nahī̃ hai . 17Rūp bhī jarūr hai , nām bhī hai .
22It is not that souls don’t have a form; they definitely have a form as well as a name.
18Itnī chhōṭī ātmā kitnā part bajātī hai is śharīr dvārā .
23Such a tiny soul plays such a huge part through a body.
19Har ēk ātmā mē̃ part bajānē kā kitnā record bharā huā hai .
24Each soul has such a vast record of the part within himself.
20Record ēk bār bhar jātā hai phir kitnā bārī bhī repeat karō , vahī chalēgā .
25Once a record has been recorded, it repeats in the same way as many times as you want.
21Vaisē ātmā bhī is śharīr K|kē andar record hai , jismē̃ 84 janmō̃ kā part bharā huā hai .
26The soul in this body also has a record which has a part of the 84 births recorded in him.
22Jaisē bāp nirākār hai , vaisē ātmā bhī nirākār hai , kahā̃-kahā̃ śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likh diyā hai vah nām rūp sē nyārā hai , parantu nām rūp sē nyārī kōī vastu hōtī nahī̃ .
27Just as the Father is incorporeal, so souls too, are incorporeal. 28In some parts of the scriptures, it is written that souls are beyond name and form. 29However, there is nothing that is beyond name and form.
23Ākāśh bhī polar hai . 24Nām tō hai nā « ākāśh ' ' .
30The sky is space; it still has a name: sky.
25Bigar nām kōī chīz hōtī nahī̃ .
31There is nothing without a name.
26Manuṣhya kahtē haĩ parampitā paramātmā .
32Human beings say: Supreme Father, Supreme Soul.
27Ab dūr dēśh mē̃ tō sab ātmāyē̃ rahtī haĩ .
33All souls live in that faraway land.
28Yah sākār dēśh hai , ismē̃ bhī dō kā rājya chaltā hai - rām rājya aur rāvaṇ rājya . 29Ādhā-kalp hai rām rājya , ādhākalp hai rāvaṇ rājya .
34This corporeal land is ruled by two. 35There are the kingdoms of Rama and Ravan: it is the kingdom of Rama for half a cycle and the kingdom of Ravan for the other half.
30Bāp kabhī bachchō̃ kē liē duḥkh kā rājya thōṛēhī banāyēṅgē .
36The Father wouldn’t create a kingdom of sorrow for His children, would He?
31Kahtē haĩ īśhvar hī duḥkh-sukh dētē haĩ .
37They say that it is God who causes sorrow and happiness.
32Bāp samjhātē haĩ maĩ kabhī bachchō̃ kō duḥkh nahī̃ dētā hū̃ .
38The Father explains: I never cause sorrow for you children.
33Mērā nām hī hai duḥkh hartā sukh kartā .
39My name is the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.
34Yah manuṣhyō̃ key|kī bhūl hai .
40This mistake has been made by human beings.
35Īśhvar kabhī duḥkh nahī̃ dēgē .
41God never causes sorrow.
36Is samay hai hī duḥkhdhām .
42At this time, it is a land of sorrow.
37Ādhākalp rāvaṇ rājya mē̃ duḥkh hī duḥkh miltā hai . 38Sukh key|kī rattī nahī̃ .
43For half a cycle, in the kingdom of Ravan, there is only sorrow; there isn’t a trace of happiness.
39Sukhdhām mē̃ phir duḥkh hōtā hī nahī̃ .
44However, there is no sorrow in that land of happiness.
40Bāp svarg key|kī rachnā rachtē haĩ .
45The Father creates heaven.
41Abhī tum hō saṅgam par .
46You are now at the confluence age.
42Inkō naī duniyā tō kōī bhī nahī̃ kahē̃gē .
47No one would call this a new world.
43Naī duniyā kā nām hī hai satyug .
48The name of that new world is the golden age.
44Vahī phir purānī hōtī hai , tō unkō kaliyug kahā jātā hai .
49When it becomes old, it is then called the iron age.
45Naī chīz achchhī aur purānī chīz kharāb dikhāī dētī hai tō purānī chīz kō khalās kiyā jātā hai .
50A new thing looks good and an old thing looks bad. 51Old things are then destroyed.
46Manuṣhya viṣh kō hī sukh samajhtē haĩ .
52Human beings consider poison to be happiness.
47Gāyā bhī jātā hai - amr̥it chhōṛ viṣh kāhē kō khāē .
53It is remembered, “Why should we renounce nectar and drink poison instead?”
48Phir kahtē tērē bhānē sarv kā bhalā .
54It is then said, “Everyone receives benefit due to You.
49Āp jō ākar karē̃gē ussē bhalā hī hōgā .
55When You come, whatever You do, it will bring benefit.”
50Nahī̃ tō rāvaṇrājya mē̃ manuṣhya burā kām hī karē̃gē .
56Otherwise, human beings will continue to perform bad acts in the kingdom of Ravan.
51Yah tō ab bachchō̃ kō patā paṛā hai ki gurū-nānak kō 500 varṣh huē phir kab āyēṅgē ?
57You children now know that 500 years have passed since Guru Nanak came. 58When will he come again?
52Tō kahē̃gē unkī ātmā tō jyōti jyōt samā gaī .
59They say that his soul merged into the light.
53Āyēṅgē phir kaisē .
60Therefore, how could he return?
54Tum kahē̃gē āj sē 4500 varṣh bād phir gurūnānak āyēṅgē .
61You tell them that Guru Nanak will come again after 4500 years.
55Tumhārī buddhi mē̃ sārē world key|kī history-geography chakra lagātī rahtī hai .
62The history and geography of the whole world continues to turn around in your intellects.
56Is samay sab tamōpradhān haĩ , inkō kayāmat kā samay kahā jātā hai .
63At this time, everyone is tamopradhan. 64This is called the time of settlement.
57Sabhī manuṣhya jaisēki marē paṛē haĩ .
65It is as though all human beings are almost dead.
58Sabkī jyōti ujhāī huī hai .
66The light of every soul is extinguished.
59Bāp ātē haĩ sabkō jagānē .
67The Father comes to awaken everyone.
60Bachchē jō kām chitā par baiṭh bhasma hō gayē haĩ , unhō̃ kō amr̥it varṣhā sē jagāē sāth lē jāyēṅgē .
68The Father showers nectar and wakes up the children who have been burnt by sitting on the pyre of lust and He will then take them back with Him.
61Māyā rāvaṇ nē kām chitā par biṭhāē kabradākhil kar diyā hai .
69Maya, Ravan, has made you sit on the pyre of lust and buried you in the graveyard.
62Sabhī sō gayē haĩ .
70Everyone is asleep.
63Ab bāp gyān amr̥it pilātē haĩ .
71The Father is now making you drink the nectar of this knowledge.
64Ab gyān amr̥it kahā̃ aur vah pānī kahā̃ .
72There is a lot of difference between this nectar of knowledge and that water.
65Sikkh lōgō̃ kā baṛā din hōtā hai tō baṛē dhūmdhām sē tālāb kō sāph kartē haĩ , miṭṭī nikāltē haĩ isliē nām hī rakhā hai - amr̥itsar . 66Amr̥it kā talāb .
73When it is an important day for Sikhs, they clean that lake and remove the mud with a lot of pomp and show. 74That is why it is called Amritsar, the Lake of Nectar.
67Gurūnānak nē bhī bāp key|kī mahimā kī hai . 68Khud kahtē ēkōaṅkār , sat nām . . . . . . vah sadaiv sach bōlnē vālā hai .
75Guru Nanak also praised the Father; he said, “He is the only One who always speaks the truth.”
69Satyanārāyaṇ key|kī kathā hai nā .
76There is the story of becoming the true Narayan, is there not?
70Manuṣhya bhaktimārg mē̃ kitnī kathāyē̃ suntē āyē haĩ . 71Amarkathā , tījrī kī kathā . . . . . . kahtē haĩ śhaṅkar nē pārvatī kō kathā sunāī .
77Human beings have been listening to so many stories on the path of devotion: the story of immortality, the story of the third eye. 78They say that Shankar told a story to Parvati.
72Vah tō sūkṣhma-vatan mē̃ rahnē vālē , vahā̃ phir kathā kaunsī sunāī ?
79He is a resident of the subtle region. 80Which story would he relate there?
73Yah sab bātē̃ bāp baiṭh samjhātē haĩ ki vāstav mē̃ tumkō amarkathā sunāē amarlōk mē̃ lē jānē maĩ āyā hū̃ .
81The Father sits here and explains all of these aspects. 82In fact, I have come to tell you the story of immortality and to take you to the land of immortality.
74Mr̥ityulōk sē amarlōk mē̃ lē jātā hū̃ .
83I take you from this land of death to the land of immortality.
75Bākī sūkṣhmavatan mē̃ pārvatī nē kyā dōṣh kiyā jō unkō amar-kathā sunāyēṅgē .
84What mistake would Parvati have made in the subtle region that she had to be told the story of immortality?
76Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ tō anēk kathāyē̃ likh dī haĩ .
85They have written a lot of stories in the scriptures.
77Satya nārāyaṇ key|kī sachchī kathā tō hai nahī̃ .
86The story of becoming true Narayan is not a true story.
78Tumnē kitnī satya nārāyaṇ key|kī kathāyē̃ sunī hōṅgī .
87You must have heard the story of becoming true Narayan several times.
79Phir satya nārāyaṇ kōī bantē haĩ kyā aur hī girtē jātē haĩ .
88Does that make anyone a true Narayan? 89Instead, they continue to descend.
80Abhī tum samajhtē hō ham nar sē nārāyaṇ , nārī sē lakṣhmī bantē haĩ .
90You now understand that we are becoming Narayan from a man and Lakshmi from a woman.
81Yah hai amarlōk mē̃ jānē kē liē sachchī satya nārāyaṇ kī kathā , tījrī kī kathā .
91This is the true story of becoming true Narayan in order to go to the land of immortality; it is the true story of the third eye.
82Tum ātmāō̃ kō gyān kā tīsrā nētra milā hai .
92Each of you souls has received a third eye of this knowledge.
83Bāp samjhātē haĩ tum hī gul-gul pūjya thē phir 84 janmō̃ kē bād tum hī pujārī banē hō isliē gāyā huā hai - āpēhī pūjya , āpēhī pujārī .
93The Father explains: You were beautiful and worthy of worship. 94While taking 84 births, you became worshippers. 95That is why it is remembered: You are the ones who are worthy of worship and you are the ones who become worshippers.
84Bāp kahtē haĩ - maĩ tō sadaiv pūjya hū̃ .
96The Father says: I am constantly worthy of worship.
85Tumkō ākar pujārī sē pūjya banātā hū̃ .
97I come and change you from worshippers to being worthy of worship.
86Yah hai patit duniyā .
98This is an impure world.
87Satyug mē̃ pūjya pāvan manuṣhya , is samay haĩ pujārī patit manuṣhya .
99In the golden age, human beings are pure and worthy of worship. 100At present, all human beings are impure worshippers.
88Sādhū-santa gātē rahtē haĩ patit-pāvan sītārām .
101Sannyasis and holy men have been singing, “O Sita’s Rama, the Purifier!”
89Yah akṣhar haĩ right . . . . . . sab sītāyē̃ brides haĩ .
102These words are right. 103All are Sitas, brides.
90Kahtē haĩ hē rām ākar hamkō pāvan banāō .
104They say, “O Rama, come and purify us!”
91Sab bhaktiyā̃ pukārtī haĩ , ātmā pukārtī hai - hē rām .
105All devotees, souls, call out, “O Rama!”
92Gāndhī jī bhī gītā sunākar pūrī kartē thē tō kahtē thē - hē patit-pāvan sītārām .
106When Gandhiji used to finish reading the Gita, he would say, “O Purifier Sita Ram!”
93Abhī tum jāntē hō gītā kōī śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa nē nahī̃ sunāī hai .
107You now understand that it was not Shri Krishna who spoke the Gita.
94Bābā kahtē haĩ - opinion lētē rahō ki īśhvar sarvavyāpī nahī̃ hai .
108Baba says: Keep remembering the opinion that God is not omnipresent.
95Gītā kā bhagvān śhiv hai , na ki śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa .
109Shiva, and not Shri Krishna, is the God of the Gita.
96Pahlē tō pūchhō gītā kā bhagvān kiskō kahā jātā hai .
110First, ask who should be called the God of the Gita.
97Bhagvān nirākār kō kahē̃gē vā sākār kō ?
111Who should be called God: the incorporeal One or the corporeal one?
98Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa tō hai sākār .
112Shri Krishna is corporeal.
99Śhiv hai nirākār .
113Shiva is incorporeal.
100Vah sirph is tan kā loan lētē haĩ .
114He only takes this body on loan.
101Bākī mātā K|kē garbh sē janm nahī̃ lētē haĩ .
115He doesn’t take birth through a mother's womb.
102Śhiv kō śharīr hai nahī̃ .
116Shiva does not have a body of His own.
103Yahā̃ is manuṣhya lōk mē̃ sthūl śharīr hai .
117It is here, in this human world, that there are physical bodies.
104Bāp ākar sachchī satya nārāyaṇ kī kathā sunātē haĩ .
118The Father comes and tells the true story of becoming the true Narayan.
105Bāp key|kī mahimā hai patit-pāvan , sarv kā sadgati dātā , sarv kā liberator , duḥkh hartā sukh kartā .
119The Father is praised as the Purifier, the Bestower of Salvation for All, the Liberator of All, the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.
106Achchhā , sukh kahā̃ hōtā hai ?
120Achcha, where does happiness exist?
107Yahā̃ nahī̃ hō saktā .
121It cannot be here.
108Sukh milēgā dūsrē janm mē̃ , jab purānī duniyā khatm hō aur svarg key|kī sthāpanā hō jāyēgī .
122You receive happiness in your next birth when heaven is established and the old world is destroyed.
109Achchhā , liberate kissē kartē haĩ ?
123Achcha, what are you liberated from?
110Rāvaṇ K|kē duḥkh sē .
124From the sorrow of Ravan.
111Yah tō duḥkhdhām hai nā .
125This is a land of sorrow.
112Achchhā phir guide bhī bantē haĩ .
126Achcha, He also becomes the Guide.
113Yah śharīr tō yahā̃ khatm hō jātē haĩ . 114Bākī ātmāō̃ kō lē jātē haĩ .
127These bodies are destroyed here, and souls are taken back.
115Pahlē sājan phir sajnī jātī hai .
128The Bridegroom goes first and is followed by His brides.
116Vah hai avināśhī salōnā sājan .
129He is the immortal, beautiful Bridegroom.
117Sabkō duḥkh sē chhuṛāē pavitra banāē ghar lē jātē haĩ .
130He liberates everyone from sorrow, makes them pure and takes them back home with Him.
118Śhādī kar jab ātē haĩ tō pahlē hōtā hai ghōṭ ( pati ) . 119Pichhāṛī mē̃ brāiḍ ( patnī ) rahtī hai phir barāt hōtī hai .
131In a wedding procession, it is the husband who walks in front, followed by the bride, his wife, and then there is the rest of the procession.
120Ab tumhārī mālā bhī aisī hai .
132Your rosary is now like this.
121Ūpar mē̃ śhivbābā fool|phūl , usē namaskār karē̃gē .
133At the top is Shiv Baba who is represented by the tassel and that is saluted.
122Phir yugal dānā brahmā-sarasvatī . 123Phir hō tum , jō bābā K|kē madadgār bantē hō .
134Then, there is the dual-bead of Brahma and Saraswati and there are then you beads, who become Baba’s helpers.
124Fool|phūl śhivbābā key|kī yād sē hī sūryavanśhī , viṣhṇu key|kī mālā banē hō .
135It is by having remembrance of the flower (tassel), Shiv Baba, that you become part of the sun dynasty and part of the rosary of Vishnu.
125Brahmā-sarasvatī sō lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ bantē haĩ .
136It is Saraswati and Brahma who become Lakshmi and Narayan.
126Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ sō brahmā-sarasvatī bantē haĩ .
137Lakshmi and Narayan become Saraswati and Brahma.
127Inhōnnē mēhnat kī hai tab pūjē jātē haĩ .
138It is because they made effort that they became worthy of worship.
128Kōī kō patā nahī̃ hai mālā kyā chīz hai .
139No one understands what a rosary represents.
129Aisē hī mālā phērtē rahtē haĩ .
140They just continue to turn a rosary.
13016108 key|kī bhī mālā hōtī hai . 131Baṛē-baṛē mandirō̃ mē̃ rakhī hōtī hai phir kōī kahā̃ sē , kōī kahā̃ sē khīñchē̃gē .
141There is even a rosary of 16,108. That is kept in a big temple where everyone turns the rosary from a different place.
132Bābā bāmbē mē̃ lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē mandir mē̃ jātē thē , mālā jākar phērtē thē , rām-rām japtē thē kyōṅki fool|phūl ēk hī bāp hai nā .
142When Baba used to go to the Lakshmi and Narayan Temple in Bombay, he would turn the rosary and recite Rama’s name, because it is the one Father (Rama) who is the tassel (flower).
133Fool|phūl kō hī rām-rām kahtē haĩ .
143The flower is called Rama.
134Phir sārī mālā par māthā ṭēktē haĩ .
144People bow their heads to the rosary.
135Gyān kuchh bhī nahī̃ .
145They have none of this knowledge.
136Pādrī bhī hāth mē̃ mālā phērtē rahtē haĩ .
146Priests (Christian) also turn a rosary in their hands.
137Pūchhō kiskī mālā phērtē hō ?
147Ask them whose rosary they are turning.
138Unkō tō patā nahī̃ hai .
148They do not know.
139Kah dēgē Christ key|kī yād mē̃ phērtē haĩ .
149They say that they are turning it in remembrance of Christ.
140Unkō yah patā nahī̃ hai ki Christ key|kī khud ātmā kahā̃ hai .
150They do not know where the Christ soul is.
141Tum jāntē hō Christ key|kī ātmā ab tamōpradhān hai .
151You understand that the Christ soul is now tamopradhan.
142Tum bhī tamōpradhān beggar thē .
152You too were tamopradhan beggars.
143Ab beggar to prince bantē hō .
153You are now becoming princes from beggars.
144Bhārat prince thā , abhī beggar hai phir prince bantē haĩ .
154Bharat was a prince; it is now a beggar. 155It will now become a prince once again.
145Banānē vālā hai bāp .
156The Father makes you this.
146Tum manuṣhya sē prince bantē hō .
157You are becoming princes from human beings.
147Ēk prince college bhī thā , jahā̃ prince-princess jākar paṛhtē thē .
158There used to be a “Prince College” where princes and princesses would go to study.
148Tum yahā̃ paṛhkar 21 janma liē svarg mē̃ prince-princess bantē hō .
159By studying here, you become princes and princesses in heaven for 21 births.
149Yah śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa prince hai nā .
160This Shri Krishna is a prince.
150Unkē 84 janmō̃ key|kī kahānī likhī huī hai .
161The story of his 84 births has been written.
151Manuṣhya kyā jānē̃ .
162What do human beings know?
