¹ «  mīṭhē bachchē - tum is university mē̃ āyē hō purānī duniyā sē markar naī duniyā mē̃ jānē , abhī tumhārī prīt ēk bhagvān sē huī hai ' '

¹Essence: Sweet children, you have come to this university in order to die from this world and to go to that new world. ²Your love is now for the one God.

²Praśhna  : kis vidhi sē bāp kī yād tumhē̃ sāhūkār banā dētī hai  ?

³Question: With which method of remembering the Father do you become wealthy?

³Uttar  : bāp hai bindu .

⁴Answer: The Father is a point.

⁴Tum bindu ban bindu kō yād karō tō sāhūkār ban jāyēṅgē .

⁵Become a point and remember the Point and you will become wealthy.

⁵Jaisē ēk kē sāth bindu lagāō tō 10 phir bindu lagāō tō 100 , phir 1000 hō jātā . ⁶Aisē bāp kī yād sē bindu lagtī jātī hai . ⁷Tum dhanvān bantē jātē hō .

⁶When you write a point (zero) beside one, it becomes 10 and then, when you write another zero beside it, it becomes 100 and then 1000. By your having remembrance of the Father, a zero continues to be added and you continue to become wealthier.

⁸Yād mē̃ hī sachchī kamāī hai .

⁷Only by having this remembrance do you earn a true income.

¹¹Is gīt kā arth|earth kitnā vichitr hai - prīt banī hai kiskē liē  ?

¹²Kissē banī hai  ?

¹²For whom?

¹³Bhagvān sē kyōṅki is duniyā sē markar unkē pās|pass jānā hai .

¹³For God, because when you die from this world, you go to Him.

¹⁴Aisē kabhī kiskē sāth prīt hōtī hai kyā  ?

¹⁴Do you have love like this for anyone else?

¹⁵Jō yah khyāl mē̃ āyē ki mar jāyēṅgē .

¹⁵Such love that you think you would die?

¹⁶Phir kōī prīt rakhē̃gē  ?

¹⁶Would anyone have such love?

¹⁷Gīt kā arth|earth kitnā wonderful hai .

¹⁷The meaning of the song is so wonderful.

¹⁸Śhamā sē parvānē prīt rakh phērī pahan-pahan jal martē haĩ .

¹⁸A moth has love for a flame, circles around it and then dies in the flame.

¹⁹Tumkō bhī bāp key|kī prīt mē̃ yah śharīr chhōṛnā hai arthāt bāp kō yād kartē-kartē śharīr chhōṛnā hai .

¹⁹When you love the Father, you too have to shed your body, which means that you shed your body in remembrance of the Father.

²⁰Yah gāyan sirph ēk kē liē hai .

²⁰This song is of only the One.

²¹Vah bāp jab ātā hai tō unsē jō prīt rakhtē haĩ , unkō is duniyā sē marnā paṛtā hai .

²¹When that Father comes, those who love Him have to die from this world.

²²Bhagvān sē prīt rakhtē haĩ tō markar kahā̃ jāyēṅgē .

²²When you love God, where will you go when you die?

²³Jarūr bhagvān kē pās hī jāyēṅgē .

²³You will definitely go to God.

²⁴Manuṣhya dān-puṇya tīrtha yātrā ādi kartē haĩ bhagvān kē pās jānē kē liē .

²⁴People make donations and perform charity and go on pilgrimages etc. in order to go to God.

²⁵Śharīr chhōṛnē samay bhī manuṣhya kō kahtē haĩ bhagvān kō yād karō .

²⁵Even when someone is about to die, people tell him to remember God.

²⁶Bhagvān kitnā nāmīgrāmī hai .

²⁶God is so famous.

²⁷Vah ātē haĩ tō sārī duniyā kō khatm kar dētē haĩ .

²⁷When He comes, He finishes the whole world.

²⁸Tum jāntē hō ham is university mē̃ ātē haĩ purānī duniyā sē markar naī duniyā mē̃ jānē kē liē .

²⁸You understand that you come to this University to die from this old world and to go to that new world.

²⁹Purānī duniyā kō patit duniyā , hell kahā jātā hai .

²⁹This old world is called an impure world, hell.

³⁰Bāp naī duniyā mē̃ jānē kā rāstā batātē haĩ .

³⁰The Father is showing you the path to a new world.

³¹Sirph mujhē yād karō , maĩ hū̃ heavenly god father .

³¹Simply remember Me. ³²I am Heavenly God, the Father.

³²Us father sē tumkō dhan miltā , milkiyat , makān ādi milē̃gē .

³³You receive wealth, property, buildings, etc. from that father.

³³Bachchiyō̃ kō tō varsā milnā nahī̃ hai .

³⁴Daughters don't receive an inheritance.

³⁴Unkō dūsrē ghar bhēj dētē haĩ . ³⁵Gōyā vah vāris nahī̃ ṭhaharī .

³⁵They are sent to other homes, which means that they cannot become heirs.

³⁶Yah bhagvān tō hai sabhī ātmāō̃ kā bāp , inkē pās|pass sabkō ānā hai .

³⁶God is the Father of all souls; everyone has to go to Him.

³⁷Kōī samay jarūr bāp ātē haĩ sabkō ghar lē jātē haĩ kyōṅki naī duniyā mē̃ bahut thōṛē manuṣhya hōtē haĩ .

³⁷Since there are very few human beings in that new world, the Father must definitely come at some time to take everyone back home.

³⁸Purānī duniyā mē̃ tō bahut haĩ .

³⁸There are many human beings in this old world.

³⁹Naī duniyā mē̃ manuṣhya bhī thōṛē aur sukh bhī bahut hōtā hai .

³⁹In that new world, there are few human beings and a great deal of happiness.

⁴⁰Purānī duniyā mē̃ bahut manuṣhya haĩ tō duḥkh bhī bahut hai , isliē pukārtē haĩ .

⁴⁰In this old world, there are many human beings and a great deal of sorrow, and this is why they call out.

⁴¹Bāpū gāndhī bhī kahtē thē hē patit-pāvan āō .

⁴¹Bapu (Gandhiji) used to say: “O Purifier, come!”

⁴²Sirph unkō jāntē nahī̃ thē .

⁴²He didn’t really know Him.

⁴³Samajhtē bhī haĩ patit-pāvan parampitā paramātmā hai , vahī world kā liberator hai .

⁴³People understand that the Purifier is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, God, that He is the Liberator of the world.

⁴⁴Rām-sītā kō tō sārī duniyā nahī̃ mānē̃gī .

⁴⁴Not everyone in the world believes in Rama and Sita.

⁴⁵Sārī duniyā parampitā paramātmā kō liberator , guide māntī hai .

⁴⁵The whole world considers the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, to be the Liberator and the Guide.

⁴⁶Liberate kartē haĩ duḥkh sē .

⁴⁶He liberates you from sorrow.

⁴⁷Achchhā duḥkh dēnē vālā kaun  ?

⁴⁷Achcha, who then causes you sorrow?

⁴⁸Bāp tō duḥkh dē na sakē kyōṅki vah tō patit-pāvan hai .

⁴⁸The Father cannot give you sorrow because He is the Purifier.

⁴⁹Pāvan duniyā sukhdhām mē̃ lē jānē vālā hai .

⁴⁹He is the One who takes you to a pure world, a land of happiness.

⁵⁰Tum hō us rūhānī bāp K|kē rūhānī bachchē .

⁵⁰You are the spiritual children of that spiritual Father.

⁵¹Jaisā bāp , vaisē bachchē .

⁵¹As is the Father, so the children.

⁵²Laukik bāp K|kē haĩ laukik arthāt jismānī bachchē .

⁵²A physical father has physical children.

⁵³Abhī tum bachchō̃ kō yah samajhnā hai ham ātmā haĩ , parampitā paramātmā hamkō varsā dēnē āyē haĩ .

⁵³You children now have to understand that you are souls and that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, has come to give you your inheritance.

⁵⁴Ham unkē bachchē banē̃gē tō svarg kā varsā jarūr milēgā .

⁵⁴When we become His children we definitely receive the inheritance of heaven.

⁵⁵Vah hai hī svarg sthāpan karnē vālā .

⁵⁵He is the One who establishes heaven.

⁵⁶Ham student haĩ , yah bhūlnā nahī̃ chāhiē .

⁵⁶Don't forget that you are students.

⁵⁷Bachchō̃ key|kī buddhi mē̃ rahtā hai śhivbābā madhuban mē̃ murlī bajātē haĩ .

⁵⁷It is in the intellects of you children that Shiv Baba plays the flute (murli) in Madhuban.

⁵⁸Vah ( kāṭh key|kī ) murlī tō yahā̃ nahī̃ hai .

⁵⁸It isn't a bamboo flute here.

⁵⁹Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā dance karnā , murlī bajānā - vah sab bhakti mārg kā hai .

⁵⁹Krishna dancing and playing a flute - all of that belongs to the path of devotion.

⁶⁰Bākī gyān key|kī murlī tō śhivbābā hī bajātē haĩ .

⁶⁰However, it is only Shiv Baba who plays the flute of this knowledge.

⁶¹Tumhārē pās|pass achchhē-achchhē gīt banānē vālē āyēṅgē .

⁶¹Many people who compose very good songs will come to you.

⁶²Gīt aksar karkē puruṣh hī banātē haĩ .

⁶²Generally, it is men who compose songs.

⁶³Tumkō gyān K|kē gīt hī gānē chāhiē jissē śhivbābā key|kī yād āyē .

⁶³You should only sing songs of this knowledge through which you can remember Shiv Baba.

⁶⁴Bāp kahtē haĩ mujh alpha kō yād karō .

⁶⁴The Father says: Remember Me, Alpha.

⁶⁵Śhiv kō kahtē haĩ bindu .

⁶⁵Shiva is called a point.

⁶⁶Vyāpārī lōg bindu likhē̃gē tō kahē̃gē śhiv .

⁶⁶When businessmen write a zero, they refer to it as Shiva.

⁶⁷Ēk kē āgē bindu likhō tō 10 hō jāyēgā phir bindu likhō tō 100 hō jātā . ⁶⁸Phir bindī likhō tō 1000 hō jāyēgā . ⁶⁹Tō tumkō bhī śhiv kō yād karnā hai .

⁶⁷Write a zero beside 1 and it becomes 10, and add another zero and it becomes 100. Then add another zero and it becomes 1000. You too have to remember Shiva.

⁷⁰Jitnā śhiv kō yād karē̃gē bindī-bindī lagtī jāyēgī . ⁷¹Tum ādhākalp kē liē sāhūkār ban jātē hō .

⁶⁸The more you remember Shiva, the more zeroes will be added and you become wealthy for half a cycle.

⁷²Vahā̃ garīb hōtā hī nahī̃ .

⁶⁹There are no poor people there.

⁷³Sab sukhī rahtē haĩ . ⁷⁴Duḥkh kā nām nahī̃ .

⁷⁰Everyone there remains happy; there is no mention of sorrow.

⁷⁵Bāp kī yād sē vikarma vināśh hōtē jāyēṅgē . ⁷⁶Tum bahut dhanvān banē̃gē .

⁷¹Your sins continue to be absolved by having remembrance of the Father and you become very wealthy.

⁷⁷Iskō kahā jātā hai sachchē bāp dvārā sachchī kamāī .

⁷²This is known as earning a true income from the true Father.

⁷⁸Yahī sāth chalēgī .

⁷³Only this income will go with you.

⁷⁹Manuṣhya sab khālī hāth jātē haĩ .

⁷⁴All human beings go back empty-handed.

⁸⁰Tumkō bhartū hāth jānā hai .

⁷⁵You will go with your hands full.

⁸¹Bāp kō yād karnā hai .

⁷⁶Remember the Father.

⁸²Bāp nē samjhāyā hai purity hōgī tō peace|pīs , prosperity milēgī .

⁷⁷The Father has explained: If there is purity, you also receive peace and prosperity.

⁸³Tum ātmā pahlē pure thī phir impure banī hō .

⁷⁸You souls were pure at first and you then became impure.

⁸⁴Sannyāsiyō̃ kō bhī semi pure kahē̃gē .

⁷⁹Sannyasis are called semi-pure.

⁸⁵Tumhārā hai full sannyās .

⁸⁰Your renunciation is full (total).

⁸⁶Tum jāntē hō vah kitnā sukh lētē haĩ . ⁸⁷Thōṛā sukh hai phir tō duḥkh hī hai .

⁸¹You understand how much happiness they (sannyasis) receive; they have a little happiness and nothing else but sorrow.

⁸⁸Āgē vē|way lōg sarvavyāpī nahī̃ kahtē thē .

⁸²Previously, they never used to speak of omnipresence.

⁸⁹Sarvavyāpī kahnē sē girtē jātē haĩ .

⁸³By speaking of omnipresence, they have continued to come down.

⁹⁰Duniyā mē̃ anēk prakār K|kē mēlē lagtē haĩ kyōṅki āmdanī tō hōtī hai nā . ⁹¹Yah bhī unhō̃ kā dhandhā hai .

⁸⁴There are many types of gatherings (melas) in the world because they earn an income from them; that is also their business.

⁹²Kahtē haĩ dhandhē sabmē̃ dhūl , bigar dhandhē nar sē nārāyaṇ bannē K|kē .

⁸⁵It is said: All businesses, apart from the business of becoming Narayan from an ordinary man, are like dust.

⁹³Yah dhandhā kōī virlā karē .

⁸⁶Scarcely anyone does this business.

⁹⁴Bāp kā bankar sab kuchh dēh sahit bāp kō dē dēnā hai kyōṅki tum chāhtē hō nayā śharīr milē .

⁸⁷After belonging to the Father, you give everything, even your bodies, to the Father because you want new bodies.

⁹⁵Bāp kahtē haĩ tum kr̥iṣhṇapurī mē̃ jā saktē hō parantu ātmā jab tamōpradhān sē satōpradhān banē̃ .

⁸⁸The Father says: You can go to the land of Krishna, but only when you souls become satopradhan from tamopradhan.

⁹⁶Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇapurī mē̃ aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē - hamkō pāvan banāō .

⁸⁹In the land of Shri Krishna, you don't say: Make us pure!

⁹⁷Yahā̃ sabhī manuṣhya mātra pukārtē haĩ hē liberator āō .

⁹⁰Here, all human beings call out: O Liberator, come.

⁹⁸Is pāp ātmāō̃ kī duniyā sē hamkō liberate karō .

⁹¹Liberate us from this world of sinful souls.

⁹⁹Abhī tum jāntē hō bāp āyā hai hamkō apnē sāth lē jānē .

⁹²You know that the Father has now come to take you back with Him.

¹⁰⁰Vahā̃ jānā tō achchhā hai nā .

⁹³It is good to go there.

¹⁰¹Manuṣhya śhānti chāhtē haĩ .

⁹⁴People want peace.

¹⁰²Ab śhānti kiskō kahtē haĩ  ?

⁹⁵What is peace?

¹⁰³Karma bigar tō kōī rah na sakē .

⁹⁶No one can stay without performing actions.

¹⁰⁴Śhānti tō hai hī śhāntidhām mē̃ .

⁹⁷Peace exists in the land of peace.

¹⁰⁵Phir bhī śharīr lēkar karma tō karnā hī hai .

⁹⁸However, you still have to adopt bodies to perform actions.

¹⁰⁶Satyug mē̃ karma kartē huē bhī śhānti rahtī hai .

⁹⁹In the golden age, even though you perform actions, you do have peace.

¹⁰⁷Aśhānti mē̃ manuṣhya kō duḥkh hōtā hai isliē kahtē haĩ śhānti kaisē milē .

¹⁰⁰Peaceless people experience sorrow, for that is why they ask how they can receive peace.

¹⁰⁸Abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō śhāntidhām tō hamārā ghar hai .

¹⁰¹You children now know that the land of peace is your home.

¹⁰⁹Satyug mē̃ śhānti bhī hai , sukh bhī hai . ¹¹⁰Sab kuchh hai .

¹⁰²In the golden age, there is peace and happiness; there is everything there.

¹¹¹Ab vah chāhiē yā sirph śhānti chāhiē .

¹⁰³Do you want that or do you only want peace?

¹¹²Yahā̃ tō duḥkh hai isliē patit-pāvan bāp kō bhī yahā̃ pukārtē haĩ .

¹⁰⁴Because there is sorrow here, people call out here to the Purifier Father.

¹¹³Bhakti kartē hī haĩ bhagvān sē milnē .

¹⁰⁵People perform devotion in order to meet God.

¹¹⁴Bhakti bhī pahlē avyabhichārī phir vyabhichārī hōtī hai .

¹⁰⁶Devotion is at first unadulterated and then it becomes adulterated.

¹¹⁵Vyabhichārī bhakti mē̃ dēkhō kyā-kyā kartē haĩ .

¹⁰⁷Look what people do in adulterated devotion.

¹¹⁶Sīṛhī mē̃ kitnā achchhā dikhāyā huā hai parantu pahlē-pahlē tō siddh karnā chāhiē - bhagvān kaun hai  ?

¹⁰⁸Everything is shown so clearly in the picture of the ladder, but you first have to prove who God is.

¹¹⁷Śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kō aisā kisnē banāyā  ?

¹⁰⁹Who made Shri Krishna as he is?

¹¹⁸Āgē janm mē̃ kaun thā  ?

¹¹⁰Who was he in his previous birth?

¹¹⁹Samjhānē key|kī baṛī yukti chāhiē .

¹¹¹You need to explain these things with great tact.

¹²⁰Jō achchhī service kartē haĩ unkī dil bhī śhāyadī ( gavāhī ) dētī hai .

¹¹²The hearts of those who do good service witness it.

¹²¹University mē̃ jō achchhī rīti paṛhē̃gē vah jarūr tīkhē jāyēṅgē . ¹²²Number-vār tō hōtē hī haĩ . ¹²³Kōī dull-head bhī hōtē haĩ .

¹¹³Those who study well at a university definitely go ahead; it is numberwise, there are still some who are dull heads.

¹²⁴Śhivbābā kō ātmā kahtī hai - mērī buddhi kā tālā khōlō .

¹¹⁴Souls say to Shiv Baba: “Open the lock on my intellect!”

¹²⁵Bāp kahtē haĩ buddhi kā tālā khōlnē kē liē hī tō āyā hū̃ . ¹²⁶Parantu tumhārē karma aisē haĩ jō tālā khultā hī nahī̃ .

¹¹⁵The Father says: I have only come to open the locks on your intellects, but your actions are such that the locks just do not open.

¹²⁷Phir bābā kyā karē̃gē  ?

¹¹⁶So, what can Baba do?

¹²⁸Bahut pāp kiyē huē haĩ .

¹¹⁷Many sins have been committed.

¹²⁹Ab bābā unkō kyā karē̃gē  ?

¹¹⁸What would Baba do about such children?

¹³⁰Teacher kō agar student kahē̃ ki ham cum|kam paṛhtē haĩ tō teacher kyā karē̃gē  ?

¹¹⁹Students would tell the Teacher that they don't study enough. ¹²⁰What would the Teacher do?

¹³¹Teacher kōī kr̥ipā tō nahī̃ karē̃gē  !

¹²¹The Teacher would not have mercy.

¹³²Karkē uskē liē extra time rakhē̃gē .

¹²²Perhaps He would give you extra time.

¹³³Vah tō tumkō manā nahī̃ hai .

¹²³That is not forbidden.

¹³⁴Pradarśhanī khulī paṛī hai baiṭhkar practice karō .

¹²⁴The exhibition is wide open; you can go and practise there.

¹³⁵Bhakti mārg mē̃ tō kōī kahē̃gē mālā phērō , kōī kahē̃gē yah mantra yād karō .

¹²⁵On the path of devotion, some tell you to turn the beads of a rosary, and others tell you to remember a mantra.

¹³⁶Yahā̃ tō bāp apnā parichay dētē haĩ .

¹²⁶Here, the Father gives His own introduction.

¹³⁷Bāp kō yād karnā hai , jissē varsā mil jātā hai .

¹²⁷Remember the Father, for, by doing this, you will receive your inheritance.

¹³⁸Tō achchhī tarah sē bāp sē pūrā varsā lēnā chāhiē nā .

¹²⁸Therefore, you should claim your full inheritance from the Father very well.

¹³⁹Ismē̃ bhī bāp kahtē haĩ vikār mē̃ kabhī nahī̃ jānā .

¹²⁹In this too, the Father says: Never indulge in vice.

¹⁴⁰Thōṛī bhī vikār key|kī taste baiṭhī tō phir vr̥iddhi hō jāyēgī .

¹³⁰If you have the slightest taste for vice, it increases.

¹⁴¹Cigarette ādi key|kī ēk bār bhī taste kartē haĩ tō saṅg kā raṅg jhaṭ lag jātā hai .

¹³¹Even if you have the taste for smoking a cigarette once, that habit would develop because of the colour of the company.

¹⁴²Phir ādat chhōṛnā bhī muśhkil hō jātī .

¹³²It then becomes difficult to break that habit.

¹⁴³Bahānā kitnā kartē haĩ .

¹³³They then make so many excuses.

¹⁴⁴Ādat kōī nahī̃ paṛnī chāhiē .

¹³⁴No habits should be developed.

¹⁴⁵Chhī-chhī ādatē̃ bhī miṭānī haĩ .

¹³⁵Dirty habits should be broken.

¹⁴⁶Bāp kahtē haĩ jītē jī śharīr kā bhān chhōṛ mujhē yād karō .

¹³⁶The Father says: Renounce the consciousness of your bodies while alive and remember Me.

¹⁴⁷Dēvtāō̃ kō bhōg hamēśhā pavitra hī lagāyā jātā hai , tō tum bhī pavitra bhōjan khāō .

¹³⁷Only pure food is offered as bhog to the deities. ¹³⁸Therefore, you too should only eat pure food.

¹⁴⁸Ājkal tō sachchā ghī miltā nahī̃ , tēl khātē haĩ .

¹³⁹Nowadays you can't even obtain pure ghee; they just use oil instead.

¹⁴⁹Vahā̃ tēl ādi hōtā nahī̃ .

¹⁴⁰There is no oil, etc. there.

¹⁵⁰Yahā̃ tō dairy mē̃ dēkhō pure ghī rakhā hai , jhūṭhā bhī rakhā hai .

¹⁴¹Here, they keep pure ghee and also artificial (mixed) ghee in the dairies.

¹⁵¹Dōnō̃ par likhā huā hai - pure ghī , dām mē̃ fark paṛ jātā hai .

¹⁴²They say “pure ghee” for both and yet there is a difference in their cost.

¹⁵²Ab tum bachchō̃ kō fool|phūl muāphik khilā huā harṣhit rahnā chāhiē .

¹⁴³You children should now bloom like flowers and remain cheerful.

¹⁵³Svarg mē̃ tō natural beauty rahtī hai .

¹⁴⁴There is natural beauty in heaven.

¹⁵⁴Vahā̃ prakr̥iti bhī satōpradhān hō jātī hai .

¹⁴⁵There, even the elements are satopradhan.

¹⁵⁵Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ jaisī natural beauty yahā̃ kōī banā na sakē .

¹⁴⁶No one here can create natural beauty like that of Lakshmi and Narayan.

¹⁵⁶Unkō in āṅkhō̃ sē kōī dēkh thōṛēhī saktē haĩ .

¹⁴⁷No one can see them with their physical eyes.

¹⁵⁷Hā̃ , sākṣhātkār hōtā hai parantu sākṣhātkār hōnē sē kōī hūbahū chitra banā thōṛēhī sakē̃gē .

¹⁴⁸Yes, they do have visions but, even after seeing them in visions, no one can make an identical picture.

¹⁵⁸Hā̃ , kōī artist kō sākṣhātkār hōtā jāē aur us samay baiṭh banāyē . . . . parantu hai baṛā muśhkil .

¹⁴⁹Yes, if an artist has a vision and he continues to draw at that time, it would still be difficult in spite of that.

¹⁵⁹Tō tum bachchō̃ kō bahut naśhā rahnā chāhiē .

¹⁵⁰So you children should have a lot of intoxication.

¹⁶⁰Abhī hamkō bābā lēnē liē āyā hai .

²³¹In the same way, try different ways to increase the power of this divine gathering by stabilising in a constant stage. ²³²By your doing this, people will be able to have a vision of the form of this divine gathering in a practical way.

²³³When the completely stable and constant stage of this divine gathering becomes well known, the revelation of BapDada will then come close.
