Song

8Gīt  : tūnē rāt gavāī sō K|kē …

9Song: You spent the night in sleeping and the day in eating.

Murli

9Ōm śhānti .

10Om shanti.

10Bachchō̃ nē gīt sunā ki hamārā jīvan hīrē jaisā thā . 11Ab kauṛī jaisā hō paṛā hai .

11You children heard in the song that it said their lives were like a diamond and that they have now become like a shell.

12Yah tō common bāt hai .

12This is common.

13Bābā bahut sahaj rīti sē samjhātē haĩ , jō kōī chhōṭā bachchā bhī samajh sakē .

13Baba explains very easily so that even a small child can understand.

14Satya nārāyaṇ kī kathā sunātē haĩ tō chhōṭē-chhōṭē bachchē bhī baiṭh jātē haĩ .

14When they relate the story of the true Narayan, even small children sit down to listen.

15Parantu vah satsaṅgō̃ ādi mē̃ jō sunātē haĩ vah sab haĩ kathāyē̃ .

15However, whatever they relate in those spiritual gatherings are only stories.

16Kathā kōī gyān nahī̃ , banī banāī kahāniyā̃ haĩ .

16Those stories are not knowledge; they are just man-made stories.

17Gītā key|kī kahānī , rāmāyaṇ key|kī kahānī bhinn-bhinn śhāstra haĩ , jinkī kahāniyā̃ baiṭh sunātē haĩ .

17There is the story of the Gita and the story of the Ramayana. 18There are many different stories in the scriptures that they relate.

18Vah sab haĩ kathāyē̃ .

19All of them are stories.

19Kahāniyō̃ sē kōī phāydā hōtā hai kyā  !

20Can there ever be any benefit in stories?

20Yah hai satya nārāyaṇ key|kī arthāt nar sē nārāyaṇ bannē key|kī sachchī kahānī .

21This is the story of the true Narayan, that is, the true story to become Narayan from an ordinary human.

21Yah sunnē sē tum nar sē nārāyaṇ ban jāyēṅgē .

22By listening to this story, you change from an ordinary human into Narayan.

22Yah amarkathā bhī huī .

23This is also the story of immortality.

23Tum nimantraṇ dētē hō ki āō amarkathā tumkō sunāyē̃ tō tum amarlōk mē̃ chalē jāyēṅgē .

24You invite people: Come, and we will tell you the story of immortality so you can go to the land of immortality.

24Tō bhī kōī nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ .

25In spite of that, no one understands anything.

25Śhāstrō̃ key|kī kahānī suntē ātē haĩ . 26Miltā kuchh bhī nahī̃ .

26They have been listening to the stories of the scriptures and yet they haven’t received anything.

27Jāyēṅgē lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē mandir mē̃ , chalō darśhan karkē āyē̃ .

27They go to the Lakshmi and Narayan Temple: Come, let’s go there to have a glimpse of the idols.

28Mahātmā kā darśhan kar āyē̃ .

28Let’s go and have a glimpse of the mahatmas.

29Yah ēk rasam-rivāj chalī āī hai .

29That custom and system has continued.

30R̥iṣhi-muni ādi jō hōkar gayē haĩ unkō māthā ṭēktē āyē haĩ .

30They continue to bow down to all the rishis and munis etc. who existed in the past.

31Pūchhō , rachtā aur rachnā key|kī kahānī kā patā hai  ? 32Tō kahē̃gē nahī̃ .

31Ask them if they know the story of the Creator and the creation and they reply that they don’t.

33Abhī tum bachchē samajhtē hō ki yah rachtā aur rachnā key|kī kahānī tō bahut sahaj hai .

32You children now understand that this story of the Creator and the creation is very easy.

34Alpha aur bē key|kī kahānī hai .

33It is the story of Alpha and beta.

35Bhal pradarśhanī mē̃ jō ātē haĩ vē|way kahānī tō ṭhīk sun lētē haĩ parantu pavitra nahī̃ bantē .

34Although those who come to the exhibitions listen to the story very well, they don’t become pure.

36Samajhtē haĩ yah vikārō̃ mē̃ jānē key|kī rasam-rivāj bhī anādi hai .

35They believe that the custom and system of indulging in vice is eternal.

37Mandir mē̃ dēvtāō̃ kē āgē jākar gātē haĩ āp sampūrṇ nirvikārī hō . . . phir bāhar ākar kahtē haĩ vikār mē̃ jānā tō anādi hai . 38Is bigar duniyā kaisē chalēgī  ?

36They go in front of the idols of the deities in the temples and sing: You are completely viceless… 37Then, when they come outside, they say that it is an eternal system to indulge in vice and they ask how the world could continue without it.

39Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ ādi kō bhī tō bachchē thē nā , aisē kah dētē haĩ tō aisō̃ kō kyā kahē̃  !

38They say: Even Lakshmi and Narayan had children. 39They say this, and so what can you tell them?

40Manuṣhya kā lakab ( martabā ) tō dē na sakē̃ . 41Dēvtāyē̃ bhī manuṣhya thē , kitnē sukhī thē - lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē rājya mē̃ .

40You cannot equate those with ordinary human beings; deities were still human beings. 41They were so happy in the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan.

42Tum bachchō̃ kō bābā bahut sahaj bāt batātē haĩ , barōbar yahā̃ bhārat mē̃ hī svarg thā . 43Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya thā .

42Baba is telling you children very easy things. 43Truly, there was heaven here in Bharat; it used to be the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan.

44Chitra bhī haĩ , yah tō sab mānē̃gē ki satyug mē̃ unhō̃ kā rājya thā .

44There are their images too. 45Everyone believes that it was their (Laxmi and Narayan’s) kingdom in the golden age.

45Vahā̃ kōī duḥkhī nahī̃ thā , sampūrṇ nirvikārī thē , unhō̃ K|kē mandir bhī baṛē-baṛē banē huē thē .

46No one was unhappy there. 47They were completely viceless. 48Big temples have been built to them.

46Unhō̃ kō 5 hajār varṣh huē .

49They existed 5000 years ago.

47Abhī vah nahī̃ haĩ .

50They don’t exist now.

48Abhī tō kaliyug kā ant hai .

51It is now the end of the iron age.

49Manuṣhya āpas mē̃ laṛtē-jhagaṛtē rahtē haĩ .

52Human beings continue to fight and quarrel among themselves.

50Bhagvān tō ūpar hī rahtē haĩ nirvāṇdhām mē̃ .

53God resides up above in the land of nirvana.

51Asul mē̃ ham ātmāyē̃ bhī vahā̃ rahtī haĩ , yahā̃ part bajānē ātī haĩ .

54In fact, we souls also reside there, and we then come here to play our parts.

52Pahlē ham lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ K|kē rājya mē̃ thē .

55At first, we were in the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan.

53Vahā̃ bahut sukh-ānanda thā phir hamkō 84 janma lēnē paṛē .

56There was a lot of happiness and bliss there and then we had to take 84 births.

54Gāyā bhī jātā hai 84 kā chakra .

57The cycle of 84 births has been remembered.

55Hamnē sūryavanśhī mē̃ 1250 varṣh rājya kiyā .

58We ruled in the sun dynasty for 1250 years.

56Vahā̃ athāh sukh thā , sampūrṇ nirvikārī thē , hīrē-javāharāt K|kē mahal thē .

59There was limitless happiness there. 60People were completely viceless and there were palaces studded with diamonds and jewels.

57Hamnē rājya kiyā phir 84 janmō̃ mē̃ ānā paṛē .

61We ruled that kingdom and then had to take 84 births.

58Yah world key|kī history-geography kā chakra phirtā rahtā hai .

62The cycle of this world history and geography continues to turn.

59Ādhākalp sukh thā .

63There was happiness for half a cycle.

60Rāmrājya mē̃ thē phir manuṣhyō̃ key|kī vr̥iddhi hōtī gaī .

64We were in the kingdom of Rama and then the population of human beings continued to grow.

61Satyug mē̃ 9 lākh thē . 62Satyug ant mē̃ vr̥iddhi hōkar 9 lākh sē dō krōṛ hō gayē , phir 12 janm trētā mē̃ bahut sukh chain mē̃ thē .

65In the golden, age there were 900,000. By the end of the golden age, that had grown from 900,000 to 20 million and then there was a lot of happiness and comfort for 12 births in the silver age.

63Ēk hī dharm thā .

66There was just the one religion.

64Phir kyā huā  ?

67What happened then?

65Phir rāvaṇ rājya śhurū huā .

68The kingdom of Ravan began.

66Rāmrājya aur rāvaṇ rājya dēkhō bahut sahaj rīti sē samjhātā hū̃ .

69Look how easily I explain the kingdom of Rama and the kingdom of Ravan.

67Chhōṭē-chhōṭē bachchō̃ kō bhī aisē batānā chāhiē aur kyā huā  ?

70You should also explain to young children in this way. 71What happened then?

68Baṛē-baṛē sōnē hīrē javāharātō̃ K|kē mahal earthquake mē̃ andar chalē gayē .

72All the big palaces of gold studded with diamonds and jewels went down below in the earthquakes.

69Bhāratvāsiyō̃ K|kē vikārī bannē sē hī earthquake huī , phir rāvaṇ rājya śhurū huā .

73Earthquakes took place when the people of Bharat became vicious and the kingdom of Ravan then began.

70Pavitra sē apavitr hō gayē .

74From pure, everyone became impure.

71Kahtē bhī haĩ sōnē key|kī laṅkā andar chalī gaī .

75They say that golden Lanka went down below.

72Kuchh tō bachā hōgā nā , jissē phir mandir ādi banāyē hōṅgē .

76Some things must have remained with which they built temples etc.

73Bhakti mārg śhurū huā - manuṣhya vikārī hōnē lagē .

77The path of devotion began; human beings began to become vicious.

74Phir rāvaṇ rājya chalā tō āyu bhī kam hō gaī .

78It then became the kingdom of Ravan and their lifespans decreased.

75Ham nirvikārī yōgī sē vikārī bhōgī ban gayē , yathā rājā rānī tathā prajā sab vikārī ban gayē .

79From being viceless yogis, they became vicious bhogis who indulged in sensual pleasures. 80As were the king and queen, so the subjects, too, became vicious.

76Yah kahānī kitnī sahaj hai .

81This story is so easy!

77Chhōṭī-chhōṭī bachchiyā̃ bhī yah kahānī sunāyē̃ tō baṛē-baṛē ādamiyō̃ kā mũh nīchā hō jāē .

82If you young daughters related this story, important, influential people would be ashamed.

78Abhī bāp baiṭh sunātē haĩ , vahī gyān kā sāgar patit-pāvan hai .

83The Father is now sitting here and telling you this. 84He alone is the Ocean of Knowledge and the Purifier.

79Achchhā dvāpar mē̃ bhōgī patit ban gayē phir aur dharm bhī śhurū hōtē gayē .

85Then, in the copper age you became those who indulged in sensual pleasures and became impure, and other religions then began to come into existence.

80Amr̥it kā jō naśhā thā vah khalās hō gayā . 81Laṛāī-jhagṛē hōnē lagē .

86The intoxication of nectar finished; fighting and quarrelling began.

82Dvāpar sē lēkar ham girē , kaliyug mē̃ ham aur hī vikārī banē̃ .

87We began to fall in the copper age and we became even more vicious in the iron age.

83Patthar key|kī mūrtiyā̃ banātē rahē . 84Hanūmān , gaṇēśh key|kī . . . . .

88We continued to make stone idols of Hanuman and Ganesh.

85Pattharbuddhi hōnē lagē tō patthar key|kī pūjā karnē lagē .

89We became those with stone intellects and began to worship stone.

86Samajhtē thē ki bhagvān patthar-ṭhikkar mē̃ hai .

90We believed that God exists in pebbles and stones.

87Aisē kartē-kartē bhārat key|kī yah hālat hō gaī ab phir bāp kahtē haĩ viṣh chhōṛ amr̥it pīkar pavitra banō aur phir rājāī lō|low .

91By our doing all of that, the condition of Bharat has become like this. 92The Father now says: Renounce poison, drink this nectar and become pure and claim your kingdom.

88Viṣh chhōṛō tō phir tum manuṣhya sē dēvtā ban jāyēṅgē .

93Renounce poison and you will change from humans into deities.

89Parantu viṣh chhōṛtē nahī̃ haĩ .

94However, you don’t renounce poison.

90Viṣh kē liē kitnā mārtē , taṅg kartē haĩ tab tō drōpadī nē pukārā nā .

95Women are beaten so much for poison and troubled so much. 96This was why Draupadi called out for protection.

91Tum samajhtē hō ki amr̥it pīnē bigar ham dēvtā kaisē banē̃gē .

97You understand how it is not possible to become deities without drinking this nectar.

92Satyug mē̃ tō rāvaṇ hōtā hī nahī̃ .

98Ravan doesn’t exist in the golden age.

93Bāp kahtē haĩ , jab tak śhrēṣhṭhāchārī nahī̃ banē̃gē , svarg mē̃ nahī̃ ā sakē̃gē .

99The Father says: Unless you become elevated, you cannot go to heaven.

94Jō śhrēṣhṭhāchārī thē , vah ab bhraṣhṭāchārī banē haĩ .

100Those who were elevated have now become corrupt.

95Phir ab amr̥it pīkar śhrēṣhṭhāchārī bannā hai .

101You now have to drink this nectar and become elevated.

96Bāp kahtē haĩ māmēkam yād karō .

102The Father says: Constantly remember Me alone!

97Kyā gītā bhūl gayē hō  ?

103Have you forgotten the Gita?

98Gītā rachī mainnē , nām ḍāl diyā kr̥iṣhṇa kā .

104I created the Gita but they inserted Krishna’s name.

99In lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kō yah rājāī kisnē dī|the  ?

105Who gave Lakshmi and Narayan their kingdom?

100Jarūr bhagvān nē dī|the hōgī .

106It must definitely have been God who gave it.

101Aglē janm mē̃ bhagvān nē rājyōg sikhāyā , nām phir ḍālā hai kr̥iṣhṇa kā .

107God taught them Raja Yoga in their previous birth but Krishna’s name was inserted.

102Tō samjhānē key|kī practice karnī chāhiē .

108You should practise explaining this to others.

103Bahut sahaj kahānī hai .

109It is a very easy story.

104Bābā kō kitnā samay lagā  ?

110How long did it take Baba?

105Ādhā ghaṇṭē mē̃ itnī sahaj bāt bhī samajh nahī̃ saktē isliē bāp kahtē haĩ sirph ēk chhōṭī kahānī baiṭh kiskō samjhāō .

111Even in half an hour, some are not able to understand such an easy matter. 112This is why the Father says: Just sit and explain this short story to someone.

106Hāth mē̃ chitra lō|low .

113Take a picture in one hand.

107Satyug mē̃ lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā rājya , phir trētā mē̃ rām-sītā kā rājya . . . . phir dvāpar mē̃ rāvaṇ kā rājya huā .

114There is the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan in the golden age and the kingdom of Rama and Sita in the silver age. 115Then, the kingdom of Ravan began in the copper age.

108Kitnī sahaj kahānī hai .

116It is such an easy story.

109Barōbar ham dēvtā thē phir kṣhatriya , vaiśhya , śhūdra banē .

117We were definitely deities and then became warriors, merchants and shudras.

110Abhī apnē kō dēvtā na samajhnē kāraṇ hindū kah dētē haĩ .

118Now, because you don’t consider yourselves to be deities, you call yourselves Hindus.

111Dharm śhrēṣhṭh , karma śhrēṣhṭh sē dharm bhraṣhṭa , karma bhraṣhṭa ban paṛē haĩ .

119From having an elevated religion and performing elevated actions, you have become corrupt in your religion and actions.

112Aisī chhōṭī-chhōṭī bachchiyā̃ baiṭh bhāṣhaṇ karē̃ tō sārī sabhā mē̃ hear-hear hō jāē .

120If you young daughters sat and gave lectures in this way, the whole gathering would say: encore, encore!

113Bābā sabhī centres vālō̃ kō sunā rahē haĩ .

121Baba is speaking to those at all the centres.

114Ab yah baṛē-baṛē nahī̃ sīkhtē haĩ tō chhōṭī-chhōṭī kumāriyō̃ kō sikhāō .

122These older people don’t learn anything, so teach these little kumaris.

115Kumāriyō̃ kā nām bhī hai .

123There are also the names of kumaris.

116Dēhlī , bāmbē mē̃ bahut achchhī-achchhī kumāriyā̃ haĩ . 117Paṛhī likhī haĩ .

124There are very good kumaris in Delhi and Bombay; they are well educated.

118Unkō tō khaṛā hō jānā chāhiē . 119Kitnā kām kar saktī hō .

125They should become alert; they could do so much.

120Agar kumāriyā̃ khaṛī hō jāē̃ tō nām bālā hō jāē .

126If the kumaris were to become alert, the name would be glorified.

121Sāhūkār ghar key|kī jō haĩ vah muśhkil himmat rakhtī haĩ .

127Those from wealthy homes hardly have any courage.

122Sāhūkārī kā naśhā rahtā hai .

128They have the intoxication of their wealth.

123Dahēj ādi miltā hai tō bas .

129Once they receive their dowry, that’s it for them.

124Kumāriyā̃ śhādī kar kālā mũh kar dētī aur sabkē āgē jhuknā paṛtā hai .

130When a kumari gets married, she becomes ugly and has to bow down to everyone.

125Tō bāp kitnā sahaj samjhātē haĩ .

131Therefore, the Father explains so easily.

126Parantu pārasbuddhi bannē kā khyāl hī nahī̃ ātā .

132However, they don’t think about becoming those with divine intellects.

127Dēkhō jō nahī̃ paṛhtē haĩ vah bhī ājkal aim|M|am . pī|P . , aim|M|am . L . A . ādi ban gayē haĩ .

133Look, nowadays, even those who haven’t studied have become MPs or MLAs etc. 134(Member of the Legislative Assembly).

128Paṛhāī sē tō kyā-kyā ban jātē haĩ .

135Look at what they can become by studying.

129Yah paṛhāī tō bahut sahaj hai .

136This study is very easy.

130Aurō̃ kō bhī jākar sikhānā chāhiē .

137You should go and teach others.

131Parantu śhrīmat par nahī̃ chaltē tō paṛhtē bhī nahī̃ haĩ .

138However, because they don’t follow shrimat, they don’t even study.

132Bahut achchhī-achchhī kumāriyā̃ haĩ parantu apnā hī naśhā chaṛhā huā hai .

139There are many very good kumaris, but they have their own intoxication.

133Thōṛā kām kiyā tō samajhtī haĩ hamnē bahut kām kiyā hai .

140When they do a little work, they think they have done so much.

134Abhī tō bahut kām karnā hai .

141Now, a lot of work still has to be done.

135Ājkal fashion mē̃ hī kumāriyā̃ rahtī haĩ .

142Nowadays it is kumaris who indulge in a lot of fashion.

136Vahā̃ tō natural śhrr̥iṅgār rahtā hai .

143There, there is natural beauty.

137Yahā̃ tō kitnā artificial śhrr̥iṅgār kartē haĩ .

144Here, the adornment is so artificial.

138Sirph bāl banānē mē̃ hī kitnē paisē dētē haĩ .

145They spend so much money just on hairdressing.

139Yah hai māyā kā pomp .

146That is the pomp of Maya.

140Fall of|off māyā rāvaṇ rājya , phir rise of|off rāmrājya .

147There is the fall of Maya, the kingdom of Ravan, and then there is the rise of the kingdom of Rama.

141Ab rāmrājya sthāpan hōtā hai .

148The kingdom of Rama is now being established.

142Parantu tum mēhnat tō karō nā .

149However, you should at least make some effort.

143Tum kyā banē̃gē  ! 144Agar paṛhē̃gē nahī̃ tō vahā̃ jākar pāī-paisē key|kī prajā banē̃gē .

150What will you become if you don’t study? 151When you go there, you will become subjects worth a few pennies.

145Ājkal K|kē baṛē-baṛē ādmī vahā̃ key|kī sab prajā mē̃ ā jāyēṅgē .

152Eminent people of today will become subjects there.

146Sāhūkār lōg sirph achchhā-achchhā kah apnē dhandhē mē̃ lag jātē haĩ .

153Wealthy people simply say that this is good and become engrossed in their work.

147Bahut achchhā prabhāvit hōtē haĩ phir kyā  !

154They become very impressed, and then what?

148Ākhrīn kyā hōgā  ?

155What will happen eventually?

149Vahā̃ jākar prajā banē̃gē .

156They will become subjects there.

150Prabhāvit mānā prajā .

157To be impressed means to become a subject.

151Jō mēhnat kartē haĩ vah rāmrājya mē̃ ā jāyēṅgē .

158Those who make effort will go into the kingdom of Rama.

152Samjhānī tō bahut sahaj hai .

159The explanation is very easy.

153Is kahānī K|kē naśhē mē̃ kōī rahē tō bēṛā pār hō jāē .
