Murli

9Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

10Bachchē sab sammukh baiṭhē haĩ tō jāntē haĩ ham jīv ātmāyē̃ haĩ .

10All of you children who are personally sitting in front of Baba understand that you are embodied souls.

11Yahā̃ tō jīv ātmāyē̃ hōṅgī nā .

11There would be embodied souls here.

12Jab ātmā kō śharīr nahī̃ hai tō naṅgī hai , uskō aśharīrī kahā jātā hai .

12When souls don’t have a body, they are naked, that is, the souls are called bodiless.

13Tum tō śharīr kē sāth baiṭhē hō .

13You are sitting here with bodies.

14Ātmā vā paramātmā jab tak śharīr mē̃ na āyē tō bōl na sakē .

14Neither souls nor the Supreme Soul can speak until they enter a body.

15Tum jīv ātmāyē̃ jāntī hō , ab bāp K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ . 16Hūbahū jaisē 5 hajār varṣh pahlē sammukh āyē thē .

15You embodied souls know that you are sitting personally in front of the Father exactly as you did when you came in front of Him 5000 years ago.

17Bachchē jarūr bāp sē varsā hī lē̃gē .

16Children would certainly claim their inheritance from their father.

18Jāntē haĩ ham apnē parampitā paramātmā bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē sammukh baiṭhē haĩ .

17You know that you are sitting in front of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the unlimited Father.

19Kyō̃ baiṭhē haĩ  ?

18Why are you sitting here?

20Bāp sē bēhad kā varsā lēnē .

19To claim your unlimited inheritance from the Father.

21Jaisē school mē̃ samajhtē haĩ ham teacher dvārā injīniyarī , bairisṭarī sīkhtē haĩ . 22Yah aim object rahtī hai .

20In a school, they understand that they are studying engineering or law from a teacher; they have their aim and objective.

23Tum bachchē samajhtē hō parampitā paramātmā hamkō brahmā K|kē tan sē baiṭh rājyōg sikhlātē haĩ .

21You children understand that the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is sitting in the body of Brahma and teaching you Raja Yoga.

24Bhagvānuvāch - yah tō bachchō̃ kō samjhāyā hai ki bhagvān nirākār kō kahā jātā hai .

22God speaks: It has been explained to you children that the incorporeal One is called God.

25Jīv ātmāyē̃ punarjanma jarūr lētī haĩ .

23Embodied souls definitely take rebirth.

26Kōī bhī sannyāsī sē tum pūchhō - manuṣhya punarjanma lētē haĩ  ?

24When you ask a sannyasi whether human beings take rebirth, he wouldn’t say that they don’t.

27Tō aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki nahī̃ lētē haĩ . 28Nahī̃ tō 84 lākh janm kaisē kahtē  ?

25How else would they be able to speak of 8.4 million births?

29Pūchhō - tum punarjanma kō māntē hō  ?

26Also ask them if they believe in rebirth.

30Yah tō barōbar hai , ātmā saṅskār anusār ēk śharīr chhōṛ phir dūsrā lētī hai .

27It is definite that a soul sheds his body and takes another one according to his sanskars.

31Aisē kōī-kōī manuṣhya 84 janma lētē haĩ . 3284 lākh janm key|kī tō bāt hī nahī̃ .

28In this way, some human beings take 84 births; there is no question of 8.4 million births.

33Pahlā janm jarūr bahut achchhā satōpradhān hōgā . 34Last chhī-chhī tamōpradhān hōgā .

29The first birth would definitely be very good and satopradhan and the last birth would be dirty and tamopradhan.

3516 kalā sē phir 14 kalā , 12 kalā hōtī jāyēṅgī , punarjanma jarūr lētē haĩ .

30From 16 celestial degrees, souls become 14 celestial degrees and then 12 degrees; souls definitely take rebirth.

36Pūchhnā chāhiē achchhā parampitā paramātmā punarjanma lētē haĩ vā punarjanma rahit haĩ  ?

31Then, ask: OK, does the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, take rebirth or is He beyond rebirth?

37Dēkhō yah point bahut sūkṣhma hai .

32Look, this point is very subtle.

38Agar kahē̃gē janm-maraṇ rahit hai tō phir śhiv jayantī siddha nahī̃ hōtī .

33If they say that He is beyond birth and death, it doesn’t prove the birthday of Shiva.

39Kahē̃gē śhiv jayantī tō manāī jātī hai .

34So you should say: But, the birthday of Shiva is celebrated.

40Samjhāyā jātā hai hā̃ śhiv jayantī hai parantu janm kē sāth phir marnā jisē kahā jātā hai vah nahī̃ hai .

35It is explained: Yes, there is the birthday of Shiva, but what you call dying is not associated with the birth of Shiva.

41Agar marē tō phir punarjanma lē .

36If He were to die, He would also take rebirth.

42Bāp kabhī punarjanma nahī̃ lētē .

37The Father never takes rebirth.

43Vah is tan mē̃ ēk hī bār ātē haĩ , bas phir punarjanma mē̃ nahī̃ ātē .

38Only once does He enter this body, that’s it! 39He doesn’t take rebirth.

44Parampitā paramātmā punarjanma rahit hai , vah kabhī satōpradhān sē tamōpradhān nahī̃ bantē haĩ .

40The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, doesn’t take rebirth. 41He never becomes tamopradhan from satopradhan.

45Ātmāyē̃ tō sab janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātē-ātē patit ban jātī haĩ phir bāp ātē haĩ pāvan banānē .

42While going around the cycle of birth and death, all souls continue to become impure and then the Father comes to purify them.

46Issē siddha hōtā hai ātmā hī patit hōtī hai , ātmā ghar sē pāvan ātī hai phir māyā patit banā dētī hai .

43This proves that it is souls who become impure. 44When a soul comes from the home, he is pure and then Maya makes him impure.

47Bāp tō kabhī patit nahī̃ banāyēṅgē .

45The Father would never make you impure.

48Bāp kabhī bhī bachchō̃ kō gandī mat nahī̃ dē saktē .

46The Father can never give dirty directions to His children.

49Is samay K|kē manuṣhya patit mat hī dētē haĩ .

47Only human beings at this time give impure directions.

50Ab pāvan bāp kahtē haĩ ki patit nahī̃ banō arthāt vikār mē̃ nahī̃ jāō .

48The pure Father says: Do not become impure, that is, do not indulge in vice!

51Rāvaṇ key|kī mat sē duḥkhdhām ban gayā .

49This world has become a land of sorrow through the dictates of Ravan.

52Pahlē sukhdhām thā .

50At first, it was a land of happiness.

53Aisē nahī̃ bāp hī sukh duḥkh dētē haĩ .

51It isn’t that the Father gives happiness and sorrow; no.

54Nahī̃ , bāp kabhī bachchō̃ kō duḥkh key|kī mat dē nahī̃ saktē .

52The Father can never give you children directions for sorrow.

55Māyā hī duḥkh dētī hai .

53It is Maya that makes you unhappy.

56Us māyā par jīt pānē sē tum jagatjīt bantē hō .

54By conquering Maya, you become the masters of the world.

57Manuṣhya māyā kā arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē .

55Human beings do not understand the meaning of Maya.

58Vah dhan kō māyā kah dētē haĩ .

56They refer to wealth as Maya.

59Kahtē haĩ nā inkō māyā kā naśhā bahut hai .

57They say: This one has the intoxication of Maya.

60Parantu māyā kā naśhā hōtā nahī̃ .

58However, there isn’t any intoxication of Maya.

61Vahā̃ rāvaṇ kā but banākar jalātē nahī̃ .

59There, they do not create an effigy of Ravan and burn it.

62But tō duśhman kā banāyā jātā hai .

60It is always an effigy of an enemy that is created.

63Rāvaṇrājya śhurū hōtā hai ādhākalp sē .

61The kingdom of Ravan begins after half a cycle.

64Dēh ahaṅkār ānē sē phir aur vikār ā jātē haĩ .

62When there is arrogance of the body, all the other vices follow.

65Śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likhā huā hai dēvtāyē̃ vām mārg mē̃ arthāt vikārō̃ mē̃ jātē haĩ .

63It is written in the scriptures that the deities fell onto the path of sin, that is, they went onto the path of sin.

66Māyā K|kē vaśh hōnē sē parvaśh ban jātē haĩ . 67Parmat par chaltē rahtē haĩ .

64By being influenced by Maya, they become subservient; they continue to follow the dictates of others.

68Abhī tum chaltē hō śhrīmat par .

65You are now following shrimat.

69Par-mat mānā māyā key|kī mat .

66The dictates of others means the dictates of Maya.

70Śhrī arthāt śhrēṣhṭh mat hai bāp key|kī .

67Shrimat means the elevated directions of the Father.

71Vah hai rāvaṇ key|kī mat , parmat isliē bāp nē kahā hai āsurī sampradāy sab rāvaṇ key|kī jañjīr mē̃ bandhē huē duḥkhī haĩ .

68The others are the dictates of Ravan, the dictates of others. 69This is why the Father has said: The devilish community is unhappy and bound by the chains of Ravan.

72Manuṣhyō̃ nē satyug key|kī āyu lākhō̃ varṣh samajh lī hai .

70Human beings believe the duration of the golden age to be hundreds of thousands of years.

73Tum tō hisāb batātē hō - 5 hajār varṣh kaisē haĩ .

71You show the accurate calculation of 5000 years.

74Christ kō 2 hajār varṣh huā , buddha kō 2250 varṣh huā phir islāmī kō 2500 varṣh huā .

72It has been 2000 years since Christ existed. 73It has been 2250 years since Buddha and 2500 years since Islam came into existence.

75Sabkō milākar ādhākalp huā .

74All of them have come in the last half cycle.

76Unkē pahlē tō dēvtāō̃ kā rājya thā phir dēvtāō̃ kō lākhō̃ varṣh kaisē kah saktē haĩ .

75Before that, it was the kingdom of deities. 76Therefore, how can it be said that the deities existed for hundreds of thousands years?

77Itnē manuṣhya hōtē phir tō manuṣhya bahut hō jātē .

77If there had been that many human beings, there would be so many people now.

78Itnē tō haĩ nahī̃ .

78However, there aren’t that many now.

795 hajār varṣh mē̃ hī karōṛō̃ manuṣhya hō jātē haĩ .

79There are billions of people in just 5000 years.

80Kahtē bhī haĩ Christ K|kē 3 hajār varṣh pahlē bhārat mē̃ ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm thā .

80It is said that 3000 years before Christ, there was the original eternal deity religion in Bharat.

815 hajār varṣh pūrē hō jātē haĩ . 82Nāṭak pūrā tō hōtā hai nā .

81This play and the 5000 years are coming to an end.

83In bātō̃ kō kōī jāntē nahī̃ .

82No one knows these things.

84Maĩ jō hū̃ , jaisā hū̃ , yah chakra phirtā hai , kōī jān na sakē̃ .

83No one knows Me as I am or what I am or how the cycle continues to turn.

85Bāp hī samjhātē haĩ - yah hai gītā episode .

84Only the Father explains that this is the Gita episode.

86Bāp nē ākar sahaj rājyōg sikhāyā thā .

85The Father came and taught you easy Raja Yoga.

87Bābā buṛhiyō̃ kō bhī samjhātē haĩ ki yah bahut sahaj bāt hai .

86The Father even explains to you old mothers that this is something very easy.

88Sirph bāp aur varsē kō yād karnā hai .

87Simply remember the Father and the inheritance!

89Bachchā paidā huā , gōyā vāris paidā huā .

88When a baby is born, it means an heir is born.

90Tum samajhtē hō ham bābā K|kē vāris haĩ .

89You understand that you are Baba’s heirs.

915 hajār varṣh bād phir sē milnē āyē haĩ .

90You have come to meet the Father again after 5000 years.

92Yah baṛī gupta bātē̃ haĩ .

91These are very incognito matters.

93Bābā pūchhtē haĩ āgē kabhī milē hō  ?

92Baba asks you: Have we met before?

94Kahtē haĩ hā̃ bābā .

93You say: Yes, Baba.

95Ātmā is mukh dvārā kahtī hai - ham 5 hajār varṣh pahlē āpsē milē thē .

94You souls say through your mouths: I met You 5000 years ago.

96Āp is tan dvārā śhikṣhā dēnē āyē thē .

95You came to give us these teachings through that body.

97Jō pakkē-pakkē bachchē haĩ samajhtē haĩ ham bābā sē bēhad kā varsā lēnē baiṭhē haĩ .

96The very firm children understand that they are sitting here in order to claim their unlimited inheritance from the Father.

98Ham bēhad K|kē bāp K|kē banē haĩ , brahmā dvārā .

97We now belong to the unlimited Father through Brahma.

99Bāp kahtē haĩ - mujhē pahchāntē hō , maĩ tumhārā bāp hū̃ .

98The Father asks: Do you recognise Me? 99I am your Father.

100Tum kahē̃gē hā̃ bābā , ham ātmāō̃ K|kē āp parampitā paramātmā bāp hō .

100You say: Yes Baba. 101You are the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the Father of us souls.

101Bāp bhī kahtē haĩ - tumkō hamnē svarg mē̃ bhējā thā , varsā diyā thā phir māyā nē chhīn liyā phir ab maĩ dētā hū̃ .

102The Father says: I sent you to heaven and gave you your inheritance. 103Maya snatched it away and I have now come to give it back to you again.

102Māyā varsā chhīntī hai , bāp dilātē haĩ .

104Maya snatches your inheritance away and the Father enables you to receive it.

103Yah anēk bār khēl hō chukā hai , hōtā rahēgā . 104Ant nahī̃ hai .

105This play has been performed many times and will continue to do so; there is no end to it.

105Bāp K|kē bantē haĩ phir kōī sagē , kōī lagē .

106Souls continue to belong to Baba.

106Kōī sautēlē , kōī mātēlē bantē haĩ . 107Kachchē-pakkē tō haĩ nā .

107Some are real children and some are stepchildren; there are weak ones and strong ones.

108Pakkō̃ kō bhī kabhī māyā ēkdam jīt lētī hai .

108Maya sometimes also conquers strong ones.

109Bachchē kahtē haĩ bābā ham jab tak jiyēṅgē , āpsē varsā lētē rahē̃gē .

109Children say: Baba, for as long as we live, we will continue to take our inheritance from You.

110Vikarmō̃ kā bōjhā sir par bahut hai .

110There is a big burden of sins on your heads.

111Tō jitnā tum yād mē̃ rahē̃gē us yōg agni sē tum pāp-ātmā sē puṇy-ātmā bantē jāyēṅgē .

111The more you stay in remembrance, the more you will continue to become charitable souls from sinful souls with the fire of yoga.

112Āg chīz kō pavitra kartī hai .

112Fire purifies everything.

113Tumhārī hai yōg agni .

113Your fire is the fire of yoga.

114Yah bēhad kā yagya hai .

114This is an unlimited sacrificial fire.

115Bēhad K|kē sēṭh nē bēhad kā yagya rachā hai .

115The unlimited Merchant has created this unlimited sacrificial fire.

116Itnē varṣh kōī bhī yagya chaltā nahī̃ hai .

116No other sacrificial fire has continued for so many years.

1177-8 rōz vā ēk mās kē liē yagya rachtē haĩ .

117They have sacrificial fires that last for seven or eight days or a month.

118Tumhārā yah yagya tō kitnē varṣhō̃ sē chal rahā hai .

118This sacrificial fire of yours has been continuing for so many years.

119Bāp tō sunātē rahtē haĩ .

119The Father continues to give you this knowledge.

120Kahtē haĩ bhūl mat jānā , sirph mujhē yād karō tō tumhārē janma-janmāntar K|kē vikarmō̃ kā bōjhā kaṭtā jāyēgā .

120He says: Don’t forget! 121Simply remember Me and the burden of sins that you have accumulated for birth after birth will be cut away.

121Bhagvānuvāch - mujh apnē bāp kō yād karō .

122God speaks: Remember Me, your Father!

122Jarūr āyā huā hai tab tō kahtē haĩ nā .

123He has definitely come and this is why He says this.

123Bāp kahtē haĩ - ab tumkō vāpis jānā hai .

124The Father says: You now have to return home.

124Tumhārī ātmā is samay bahut patit hai .

125At this time, you souls are very impure.

125Ab tum jāntē hō yōg sē ham pāvan bantē jāyēṅgē .

126You now know that you will continue to become pure with yoga.

126Tumhārī tō pratigyā hai ki āp jab āyēṅgē tō aur saṅg tōṛ tum saṅg jōṛē̃gē .

127You promised: When You come, I will break away from everyone else and connect myself to You alone.

127Tum par vārī jāyēṅgē .

128I will surrender myself to You.

128Strī , puruṣh par aur puruṣh , strī par balihār hōtē haĩ .

129A wife surrenders herself to her husband and a husband surrenders himself to his wife.

129Yahā̃ hai bāp par balihār jānā .

130Here, it is a question of surrendering oneself to the Father.

130Śhādī mē̃ ēk dūsrē par balihār jātē haĩ nā .

131When a couple get married, they surrender themselves to one another.

131Ab bāp kahtē haĩ - tumkō kōī manuṣhya par balihār nahī̃ jānā hai .

132The Father says: You must not surrender yourself to any human being now.

132Tumhārī pratigyā hai - āp par balihār jāūṅgī .

133You promised: I will surrender myself to You.

133Āp hamārē par balihār jāō tō 21 janm tumkō sadā sukhī banāūṅgā .

134When you surrender yourself to Me, I will make you ever happy for 21 births.

134Kitnā bhārī varsā hai .

135This is such a great inheritance!

135Śhrīmat sē tum śhrēṣhṭh banē̃gē , yah bhūlō mat .

136Don’t forget that it is by following shrimat, you become elevated.

136Lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ kā chitra bhī ghar mē̃ rakh dō .

137Also keep a picture of Lakshmi and Narayan in your home.

137Ham bāp sē yah varsā lē rahē haĩ .

138We are claiming this inheritance from the Father.

138Bāp paramdhām sē āyē huē haĩ .

139He has come from the supreme abode.

139Parantu māyā chīl bhī cum|kam nahī̃ hai .

140However, Maya, the eagle, is also no less.

140Sabkī bāt nahī̃ hai parantu number-vār haĩ .

141This doesn’t refer to everyone; it is numberwise.

141Kōī tō ēkdam bhūl jātē haĩ ki ham bāp sē varsā lētē haĩ .

142Some completely forget that they are claiming their inheritance from the Father.

142Yahā̃ baiṭhē haĩ tō naśhā chaṛhtā hai .

143When they are sitting here, there is that intoxication.

143Yahā̃ sē bāhar nikalā aur bhūlā phir subah kō refresh hōtē haĩ phir sārā din bhūl jātē haĩ .

144As soon as they leave here, they forget. 145Then, the next morning, they become refreshed and then forget again for the whole day.

1444-5 varṣh rah-kar achchhī service karnē vālē bhī āj dēkhō nahī̃ haĩ .

146There are some who were here for four or five years and did very good service, but are no longer here today.

145Kuchh avagyā kī hai tō māyā nē jōr sē thappaṛ mārā aur chalē gayē .

147There must have been some disobedience which was why Maya slapped them very hard and why they left.

146Bābā kah dētē haĩ - chaṛhē tō chākhē prēm ras , girē tō chaknāchūr .

148Baba says: Those who climb taste the sweetness of love and those who fall are totally crushed.

147Dēkhtē hō kaisē chaknāchūr hō jātē haĩ .

149You can see how they become totally crushed.

148Vaikuṇṭha mē̃ tō jarūr chalē̃gē . 149Parantu pad tō number-vār hai nā .

150They will definitely go to heaven, but the status is numberwise.

150Bhal vahā̃ sab sukhī rahtē haĩ phir bhī martabē tō haĩ nā .

151Although everyone remains happy there, there is still a difference in the status.

151School mē̃ martabē pānē kē liē hī tō puruṣhārth kartē haĩ .

152Everyone makes effort at school to attain a status.

152Aisē nahī̃ prajā hī sahī , jō takdīr mē̃ hōgā . 153Nahī̃ , iskō tamōpradhān puruṣhārth kahā jātā hai .

153Don’t just be happy with being subjects and think that whatever is in your fortune is fine; no. 154That is called tamopradhan effort.

154Satōpradhān unkō kahē̃gē jō bāp sē pūrā varsā lēnē key|kī pratigyā kartē haĩ .

155Satopradhan effort is that of those who promise to claim their full inheritance from the Father.
