Song

9Gīt  : tū pyār kā sāgar hai …

8Song: You are the Ocean of Love, we thirst for one drop.

Murli

10Ōm śhānti .

9Om shanti.

11Yah kōī sirph pyār kā sāgar nahī̃ , gyān kā sāgar hai .

10That One is not just the Ocean of Love, He is also the Ocean of Knowledge.

12Gyān aur agyān .

11There is knowledge and ignorance.

13Gyān kō din , agyān kō rāt kahā jātā hai .

12Knowledge is the day and ignorance is the night.

14Gyān akṣhar hī achchhā hai . 15Agyān akṣhar burā hai .

13The word “knowledge” is good, whereas the word “ignorance” is bad.

16Ādhākalp hai gyān kī prālabdha . 17Ādhākalp hai agyān key|kī prālabdh , agyān key|kī prālabdh hai duḥkh . 18Gyān kī prālabdha sukh hai .

14For half a cycle there is the reward of this knowledge and for half a cycle there is the reward of ignorance. 15The reward of ignorance is sorrow and the reward of this knowledge is happiness.

19Yah tō bahut sahaj samajhnē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ , din hai gyān kā . 20Rāt hai agyān , yah bhī kiskō patā nahī̃ hai . 21Gyān kiskō kahā jātā hai , agyān kiskō kahā jātā hai , yah bēhad key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

16These matters are very easy to understand. 17There is the day of this knowledge and the night of ignorance. 18No one knows what this knowledge is or what ignorance is. 19These are matters of the unlimited.

22Tum sabkō samjhātē hō gyān kyā hai , bhakti kyā hai .

20You explain to everyone what this knowledge is and what devotion is.

23Gyān sē tum pūjya ban rahē hō .

21You become worthy of worship through this knowledge.

24Jab pūjya ban jātē hō tō pūjā kī sāmagrī kō jān jātē hō .

22When you are becoming worthy of worship, you come to know about the paraphernalia of worship.

25Yah bhī tum jāntē hō ki yah jō mandir ādi haĩ , yah sab yādgār haĩ .

23You know that all the temples, etc. are memorials.

26Unkī jīvan kahānī kō bhī tum jāntē hō .

24You know all the life stories.

27Jō pūjā karnē jātē haĩ vah khud nahī̃ jāntē .

25Those who perform worship do not know the life stories of the ones they worship.

28Pūjā kō bhakti kahā jātā hai , bhagvān kō bhaktō̃ sē milnā hai - bhakti kā phal dēnē kē liē .

26Worshipping is called devotion. 27God has to meet His devotees in order to give them the fruit of their devotion.

29Sō bhagvān hī ākar pujārī sē pūjya banātē haĩ .

28God comes and makes those who are worshippers into those who are worthy of worship.

30Pūjya satyug mē̃ pujārī kaliyug mē̃ hōtē haĩ .

29You are worthy of worship in the golden age and worshippers in the iron age.

31Tum bachchē jāntē hō āj kyā haĩ , kal kyā hōnā hai .

30You children know what you are today and what you will become tomorrow.

32Vināśh tō jarūr hōnē kā hai , kōī bhī samay hō saktā hai . 33Taiyārī hō rahī hai .

31Destruction will definitely take place. 32It can take place at any time; the preparations for it are being made.

34Gāyā huā bhī hai anēk kudratī āpdāyē̃ hōtī haĩ .

33It is remembered that there are to be many natural calamities.

35Yah tō likh dēnā chāhiē - gr̥ih yuddha aur kudratī āpdāyē̃ , unkō kōī īśhvarīy āpdāyē̃ nahī̃ kahē̃gē . 36Yah tō drama key|kī nūndh hai , jismē̃ natural calamities sab ānē vālī haĩ .

34You should write: Civil wars and natural calamities cannot be called Godly calamities; they are fixed in the drama. 35There will also be natural calamities.

37Vināśh mē̃ bhī madad karē̃gē .

36They will help in this destruction.

38Mūslādhār barsāt paṛēgī . 39Bhūkhō̃ marē̃gē , earthquake ādi sab ānē kī haĩ .

37There will also be torrential rainfall and famine, etc. 38There will be earthquakes too.

40In dvārā hī vināśh hōnē kā hai .

39Destruction will take place through all of those things.

41Bachchē jāntē haĩ , yah tō jarūr hōnē kā hai .

40You children know that all of this will definitely happen.

42Nahī̃ tō satyug mē̃ itnē thōṛē manuṣhya kaisē hōṅgē , jarūr ikaṭṭhā vināśh hōgā .

41How else would there be so few human beings in the golden age? 42Destruction definitely takes place all at once.

43Bachchē achchhī rīti jāntē haĩ , yah sab kapṛē dhōyē jāyēṅgē . 44Yah bēhad key|kī baṛī machinery hai .

43You children understand very well that all of these dirty clothes will be washed by this huge, unlimited machinery.

45Gāyā jātā hai mūt palītī kapaṛ dhōē . . . in kapṛō̃ key|kī bāt nahī̃ . 46Yah hai śharīr key|kī bāt .

44It is said that God washes the dirty clothes. 45It is not a question of physical clothes, but it refers to bodies.

47Ātmāō̃ kō yōgbal sē dhōnā hai .

46Souls have to be washed with the power of yoga.

48Is samay 5 tatva tamōpradhān haĩ tō śharīr bhī aisē bantē haĩ .

47At this time, the five vices are tamopradhan and so the bodies that have been created are also like that.

49Patit-pāvan bāp ākar pāvan banātē haĩ aur sab khalās hō jātē haĩ .

48The Purifier Father comes and purifies you. 49Everyone else will be destroyed.

50Tum jāntē hō pāvan kaisē bantē haĩ .

50You know how you become pure.

51Rāstā bahut sahaj batātē haĩ .

51You are shown a very easy path.

52Manuṣhya tō kuchh bhī nahī̃ samajhtē .

52Human beings don't understand anything.

53Jahā̃-jahā̃ bhakti yagya ādi hōtē haĩ , vahā̃ jākar samjhānā chāhiē ki jinkī tum bhakti kartē hō unkī biography samajhnē sē hī tum dēvtā ban saktē hō .

53You should go and explain to them wherever they hold a sacrificial fire on the path of devotion: “You can become deities by understanding the biography of those whom you worship.

54Unhōnnē jīvanmukti kaisē pāī sō tō samjhō , tō tum bhī jīvanmukti pā saktē hō .

54Come and understand how they attained liberation-in-life, and how you too can then attain the same.”

55Mandirō̃ mē̃ baiṭh jīvan kahānī samjhānē sē achchhī rīti samajhē̃gē .

55When you explain their (the idols’) life stories in the temples, they will be able to understand very clearly.

56Tum bhī bāp sē abhī jīvan kahānī suntē hō , tum bachchō̃ kō kitnī samajh miltī hai .

56You are also listening to their life stories from the Father. 57You children have received so much understanding.

57Parampitā paramātmā key|kī jīvan kahānī kōī bhī nahī̃ jāntē .

58No one knows the life story of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul.

58Sarvavyāpī kahnē sē jīvan kahānī thōṛēhī hō jātī hai .

59By then saying that He is omnipresent, there cannot be a life story.

59Tum bachchē abhī parampitā paramātmā key|kī jīvan kahānī kō jāntē hō , yānī ādi-madhy-ant kō jāntē hō .

60You children now know the life story of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, that is, you know the beginning, the middle and the end.

60Is samay kō ādi kahē̃gē . 61Jabki bāp ākar patitō̃ kō pāvan banātē haĩ phir madhya mē̃ bhakti kā part chaltā hai .

61This time, when the Father comes and purifies the impure, is called the beginning. 62Then, there is the part of devotion in the middle.

62Bāp kahtē haĩ is samay maĩ ākar sthāpanā kartā , karātā hū̃ .

63The Father says: I come at this time and carry out the establishment; I inspire it to be carried out.

63Karan-karāvanhār hū̃ .

64I am Karankaravanhar (One who acts Himself and also acts through others).

64Prērṇā kō karnā nahī̃ kahē̃gē .

65Giving inspiration is not called doing it yourself.

65Bābā ākar inkī karmēndriyō̃ dvārā kartē haĩ , ismē̃ prērṇā key|kī bāt nahī .

66Baba comes and carries it out through the physical organs of this one. 67There is no question of inspiration in this.

66Karan-karāvanhār tō jarūr sammukh hō karāyēṅgē .

68Karankaravanhar would definitely come in person and work through this one.

67Prērṇā sē kuchh bhī nahī̃ hō saktā .

69Nothing is achieved through inspiration.

68Ātmā , bigar śharīr kuchh bhī nahī̃ kar saktī hai .

70A soul cannot do anything without a body.

69Bahut kahtē haĩ īśhvar hī prērṇā sē sab kuchh kartā hai . 70Bābā āp prērṇā karō , hamārē pati key|kī buddhi ṭhīk hō jāē .

71Many people say that God does everything through inspiration: “Baba, inspire my husband and put his intellect right!”

71Bāp kahtē haĩ - prērṇā key|kī tō ismē̃ bāt hī nahī̃ .

72The Father says: There is no question of inspiration in this.

72Phir śhiv jayantī kyō̃ manāī jātī .

73Otherwise, why is the birthday of Shiva celebrated?

73Prērṇā sē kām hō tō phir āyē hī kyō̃  ?

74If everything were accomplished through inspiration, why would He come?

74Ēk tō īśhvar kyā chīz hai , yah nahī̃ jāntē .

75Firstly, they don't know who God is.

75Sirph kah dētē īśhvar key|kī prērṇā sē sab kuchh hōtā hai .

76They simply say that everything happens through God's inspiration.

76Nirākār prērṇā sē kaisē karē̃gē , vah tō karankarāvanhār hai .

77How can the incorporeal One do anything through inspiration? 78He is Karankaravanhar.

77Ākarkē rāstā batātē haĩ .

79He comes and shows us the path.

78Karmēndriyō̃ sē murlī chalātē haĩ .

80He speaks the murli through these physical organs.

79Jab tak karmēndriyō̃ kā ādhār na lē , tab tak murlī kaisē chalāyē .

81How could He play the murli unless He took the support of physical organs?

80Gyān kā sāgar hai tō sunānē kē liē mukh chāhiē nā .

82He is the Ocean of this Knowledge. 83Therefore, He needs a mouth in order to speak this knowledge.

81Ab tum bachchō̃ kō sārī duniyā K|kē ādi-madhy-ant kā patā paṛā hai .

84You children now know the beginning, the middle and the end of the whole world.

82Pūrī knowledge milī hai .

85You have received this full knowledge.

83Samajhtē haĩ gyān bigar gati nahī̃ .

86People without this knowledge believe that there can’t be salvation.

84Gyān kaun dē .

87Who can give this knowledge?

85Agyān mārg aur gyān mārg mē̃ fark tō dēkhō nā .

88Look at the difference between the path of this knowledge and the path of ignorance.

86Vigyān bhī kahtē haĩ .

89They also speak of science (vigyan).

87Agyān haĩ andhiyārā , bākī gyān aur vigyān kō ham mukti-jīvanmukti bhī kah saktē haĩ .

90Ignorance is darkness. 91However, we can say that this knowledge (gyan) and science (vigyan) are liberation and liberation-in-life.

88Tumkō ab pāvan bannē kā gyān miltā hai .

92You are now receiving this knowledge to become pure.

89Tum svadarśhan chakradhārī bantē hō .

93You are becoming spinners of the discus of self-realisation.

90Kōī sunē̃gē tō wonder khāyēṅgē .

94Anyone who hears this would be amazed.

91Kahē̃gē ātmā gyān lētī hai tō ātmā jarūr saṅskār lē jāyēgī nā .

95It is said that, since souls receive this knowledge, souls will definitely carry those sanskars.

92Manuṣhya sē dēvtā bantē hō tō gyān rahnā chāhiē . 93Parantu bāp samjhātē haĩ yah puruṣhārth hai prālabdh kē liē .

96Since you change from humans into deities, this knowledge should remain, but the Father explains that this effort is for receiving a reward.

94Prālabdh mil gaī phir gyān key|kī kyā darkār hai .

97Once you have received the reward, what need would there be for this knowledge?

95Satyug hai hī tum bachchō̃ kē liē prālabdh .

98The golden age is the reward for you children.

96Yah bātē̃ sunnē sē hī wonder khāyēṅgē .

99You are amazed when you hear these things.

97Yah gyān paramparā kyō̃ nahī̃ chaltā , bāp kahtē haĩ yah prāyaḥlōp hō jātā hai .

100Why has this knowledge not existed from time immemorial? 101The Father says: This knowledge disappears.

98Din hō gayā phir agyān tō hai nahī̃ , jō gyān key|kī darkār rahē .

102Once it is the day, there is no ignorance for there to be any need of this knowledge.

99Yah bhī samajhnē samjhānē key|kī bātē̃ haĩ .

103These matters have to be understood and explained.

100Phaṭ sē kōī samajh nahī̃ saktē .

104No one can understand instantly.

101Śhivbābā bhārat mē̃ hī ātē haĩ , bachchō̃ kē liē saugāt lē ātē haĩ , bhakti kā phal dēnē liē .

105Shiv Baba only comes in Bharat and He brings a gift for you children in order to give you the fruit of your devotion.

102Bhakti kē bād hai sadgati .

106After devotion, there is salvation.

103Yah vināśh bhī hōgā jarūr .

107This destruction will definitely take place.

104Āsār khaṛē haĩ .

108There are signs of this.

105Tum suntē rahē̃gē - chingārī lagtī hai tō ēk dō ghaṇṭē mē̃ sārā makān jalkar bhasma hō jātā hai .

109You continue to hear about how there was just a spark and how a whole building completely burnt down within a couple of hours.

106Yah kōī naī bāt nahī̃ hai , vināśh tō hōnā jarūr hai .

110This is nothing new. 111Destruction definitely has to take place.

107Satyug mē̃ hōtē hī haĩ thōṛē manuṣhya , śhrēṣhṭhāchārī .

112In the golden age, there are only a few elevated human beings.

108Tō śhrēṣhṭhāchārī bannē mē̃ kitnī mēhnat lagtī hai .

113It takes so much effort to become elevated.

109Māyā nāk sē ēkdam pakaṛ lētī hai .

114Maya catches hold of you by the nose.

110Aisē girnē vālō̃ kō chōṭ bahut lagtī hai .

115Those who fall like this are very badly hurt.

111Time lag jātā hai .

116It takes time.

112Baṛē tē baṛī chōṭ hai kām vikār key|kī isliē kahā jātā hai - kām mahāśhatru hai .

117The thing that causes the most damage is the vice of lust. 118This is why it is said that lust is the greatest enemy.

113Yahī patit banātē haĩ .

119It is this that makes you impure.

114Jhagaṛā|jhagṛā hōtā hī hai vikār par .

120There is quarrelling because of vice.

115Vikār kē liē nahī̃ chhōṛē̃gē tō jarūr kahē̃gē - issē tō bartan sāph karē̃ vō achchhā hai .

121If they don’t leave you alone but force you to indulge in vice, you should definitely say: “It would be better to wash dishes than this.

116Jhāṛū pōñchā lagāyēṅgī parantu pavitra rahē̃gī , ismē̃ himmat bahut chāhiē .

122I shall sweep and mop the floor, but at least I shall remain pure.” 123A lot of courage is needed for this.

117Jab kōī bāp key|kī śharaṇ mē̃ ātē haĩ tō phir māyā bhī laṛnā śhurū kartī hai .

124When someone seeks refuge with the Father, Maya also begins to battle.

1185 vikārō̃ key|kī bīmārī aur hī adhik uthal khātī hai .

125The illness of the five vices erupts even more.

119Pahlē tō pakkā niśhchaybuddhi hōnā chāhiē .

126First of all, let your intellects have firm faith.

120Jītē jī marē huē haĩ .

127You have died alive.

121Yahā̃ sē laṅgar uṭhā liyā hai .

128The anchor has been raised from here.

122Kaliyugī , vikārī kinārā tumnē chhōṛ diyā hai .

129You have left this iron-aged, vicious shore.

123Ab ham yātrā par jā rahē haĩ - ham aśharīrī hō apnē ghar jātē haĩ .

130We are now going on a pilgrimage. 131We are becoming bodiless and returning home.

124Ātmā kō yah gyān hai ki ham ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrē mē̃ jāyēṅgē .

132You souls have the knowledge that we will shed these bodies and take others.

125Ham gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rahtē kamal fool|phūl samān pavitra ban yātrā par rahtē haĩ .

133While living at home with our families, we remain as pure as a lotus and also stay on this pilgrimage.

126Buddhi mē̃ yād rahē ki yah tō kabristān hai , phir ham sukhdhām mē̃ jāyēṅgē .

134Keep it in your intellects that this is a graveyard. 135We are going to that land of happiness.

127Hamkō bābā varsā dēnē key|kī yukti batā rahē haĩ .

136Baba is showing you ways with which He can give you the inheritance.

128Pāvan bannē kē liē ham yōg mē̃ rahtē haĩ .

137We stay in yoga in order to become pure.

129Yād sē hī vikarma vināśh hōṅgē tab ātmā śharīr chhōṛēgī .

138Your sins will only be absolved by having remembrance. 139You souls will then shed your bodies.

130Yātrā kitnī wonderful hai .

140This pilgrimage is so wonderful.

131Sirph bāp kō yād karō , apnī rājdhānī kō yād karō .

141Simply remember the Father and your kingdom.

132Itnī sahaj bāt bhī yād nahī̃ paṛtī hai .

142You are unable to remember something so simple!

133Alpha kō yād karō , bas .

143Simply remember Alpha, that’s all!

134Parantu māyā vah bhī yād karnē nahī̃ dētī , mēhnat lagtī hai .

144However, Maya doesn't allow you to remember even this much. 145It requires effort.

135Ātmā kō gyān milā hai , hamārā bābā āyā huā hai .

146You souls have received the knowledge that our Baba has come.

136Ātmā paṛhtī hai nā .

147You souls are studying.

137Ātmā śharīr dvārā janma lētī hai .

148A soul takes birth with a body.

138Ātmā bhāī hai .

149Souls are brothers.

139Dēh-abhimān mē̃ ānē sē phir anēk sambandh hō jātē haĩ .

150When you become body conscious, there are so many relations.

140Yahā̃ tum bhāī-bahin hō gayē .

151Here, you are brothers and sisters.

141Āpas mē̃ bhāī-bhāī bhī hō , bahan bhāī bhī hō .

152You are brothers and also brothers and sisters.

142Pravr̥itti mārg hai nā .

153This is the family path.

143Dōnō̃ kō varsā chāhiē .

154Both need an inheritance.

144Ātmā hī puruṣhārth kartī hai .

155It is souls who make effort.

145Apnē kō ātmā samajhnā - yahī mēhnat hai .

156The only effort is for each of you to consider yourself to be a soul.

146Dēh-abhimān na rahē .

157Let there not be any body consciousness.

147Śharīr hī nahī̃ tō vikār kissē karē̃gē .

158If there is no body, how can you indulge in vice?

148Ham ātmā haĩ , bāp kē pās jānā hai .

159“I am a soul and I have to go to the Father.”

149Śharīr kā bhān hī na rahē .

160The consciousness of bodies must not remain.

150Jitnā yōgī bantē jāyēṅgē , karmēndriyā̃ śhānt hōtī jāyēṅgī .

161The more yogi you become, the quieter your physical senses will become.

151Dēh-abhimān mē̃ ānē sē karmēndriyā̃ chañchal hōtī haĩ .

162When you become body conscious, your physical senses cause mischief.

152Ātmā jāntī hai hamkō prāpti hō rahī hai . 153Śharīr sē alag hōtē jāyēṅgē , tō karmēndriyā̃ śhānt hōtī jāyēṅgī .

163The soul knows he is attaining something and will continue to be detached from the body. 164The physical senses will then also become peaceful.

154Sannyāsī lōg davāī khākar karmēndriyō̃ kō śhānt kartē haĩ .

165Sannyasis control their physical senses with drugs.

155Vah tō haṭhyōg hō gayā nā .

166That is hatha yoga.

156Tumkō tō yōg sē kām lēnā hai .

167You have to do everything with yoga.

157Kyā yōgbal sē tum vaśh nahī̃ kar saktē hō  ?

168Can you not control your senses with the power of yoga?

158Jitnā ātma-abhimānī hōtē jāyēṅgē tō karmēndriyā̃ śhānt hō jāyēṅgī .

169The more soul conscious you become, the more peaceful your senses will become.

159Baṛī mēhnat karnī paṛtī hai , prāpti tō bahut ūñch hai nā .

170You have to make a lot of effort. 171The attainment is also great.

160Bāp kahtē haĩ - yōgbal sē tum viśhva K|kē mālik bantē hō .

172The Father says: You become the masters of the world with the power of yoga.

161Karmēndriyō̃ par jīt pahantē hō isliē bhārat kā yōg nāmīgrāmī hai .
